happy halloween everyone 🎃 as promised, here's the demo release for Circus : Eyes of God (fireworks fireworks)!! this demo release contains only the prologue for now, so no MC related choices yet. even so, i hope you guys will enjoy reading it as much as i enjoyed writing it ^^ (also Vesper lovers especially, you guys are in for a treat🤭)

Izuku is a nervous man, sure. But he is courageous. He jumps headfirst into battles, he puts up a good fight, he spent months breaking his bones while getting used to his power. He is nervous, but that will never stop him from taking what he wants.

So, really, it's no surprise when he kisses you first. It's gentle, a peck, just a brush of skin. But it sends a thrill of excitement up your spine nonetheless, makes you feel giddy and excited. He's soft, warm, and a little sweet from the soda he had been sipping on. Something with cherry, you think.

"This okay?" he murmurs, head still ducked close to yours and lips still against lips.

"Yeah," you huff, grinning when he exhales a trembling breath. His flush is high on his cheeks, beneath his spattering of freckles. He's so easy to rile up, to tease. A laugh bubbles from your chest when you notice the way his fingers shake against your neck, but still, you're sweet when you ask, "Do it again?"

And you're so– you drive him mad. Every single thing about you turns his brain to mush.

So he does. He kisses you again, firmer this time. The cherry on his tongue invades your senses, makes your teeth hurt. The hand on your neck slips up and into your hair so he can angle you better for himself. Greedy and selfish and needy, he curls himself around you, fills you up with him.

Izuku will always take what he wants. And he's wanted you for a long, long time.

okay but LISTEN i think cyno would feel the exact same about pet names as he does about his jokes like cyhaino starts dating and his immediate thought is oh pet names would help make it less awkward and relax both of us so he tries it, calls alhaitham babe in front of both of their salads and it’s stiff and awkward and uncomfortable and they’re both just like “hm :|” because it’s SO obvious that didn’t work so alhaitham is like cool we tried it and that’s that but THEN cyno KEEPS doing it trying every pet name under the sun because he’s PERSISTENT and it NEVER works but alhaitham would find it kind of charming and very cyno-esque so of course he would grow to love it but also they’re emotionally scarring every one around them who has to listen to the most uncomfortable use of the word “sweetie” they have ever seen in their entire life

So You Will Never Be A God is about the main "villain" from one of my other WIPs, The Prices We Pay. It begins in his childhood, and slowly throughout the story you see him progress into the mindset he has in TPWP. However, it brings to light his motives behind his actions and we start to wonder if he was even the villain at all.

Character dynamics I apparently love:

Peeta and Obi-wan: loving the one person who actually see them and expects nothing in return, willing to build bridges as slowly as their loved one needs.

Falls first. It’s okay, the distance does not diminished my love.

Katniss and Cody: violently distrustful of the person who seems too kind that they rationalize it as a scheming act to lower their guard. Incredibly defensive to the person they haven’t fallen in love with quite yet.

Falls later, like a rock from a cliff. 10 to 1000. Terrifying level of devotion.

Happy Wednesday. Texting from zombieland because May just doesn't want too be gentle to me and I'm so achy. But also enough whining. This is a rough excerpt from an upcoming chapter of First Aid <3

The metal railings force them to sit pressed in and with their legs dangling through the bars. Carlos’ hand winds over TK’s shoulders, one of the new ways they touch casually that he still has to talk himself into initiating, while TK’s palm warms his knee. A photo album is spread over their thighs. 

TK truly was a cute kid, chubby and big headed and tooth-gap mouthed and rumple-shirted and messy-haired and absolutely recognizable still from the little mischief in his smile and eyes. He has story for every single photo. Carlos listens and learns. He wishes he could show his own now; his father used to be into photography and he has three albums to prove it.

The only photos he can offer on this borrowed phone, he finds his tia’s facebook page because she never fails to post an embarrassing picture of him each birthday. TK quickly clutches the phone and zooms in, cooing at the untamed curls he had as a toddler and laughing at him wearing his father’s ranger’s hat when he was five.

“I want a copy of this one!” TK says, tilting the screen so Carlos can look in horror at his fifteen-year-old self.

 “No way!”

It's an old photo taken by his dad’s digital cam that somehow still captured the pimples on Carlos’ face and the awkward shadow of patchy stubble that was darker than most classmates (so he shaved, so he got even more pimples). 

“Please!” TK begs, batting his eyelashes of his spring green eyes at him. “Look at baby-you and the tiny cow in your lap! I can't!”

“No.”

“And the giant cowboy hat swallowing half your face.”

“Kennedy-”

“Oh back to that name?” TK asks with a smirk. “Come on. You look so cute. If you’d have been in my class I would have pined over you. I’d have doodled little hearts on the sides of my binders that I wrote poems in.”

“Is that what you did when you had a crush?” Carlos asks, brushing a lock of hair from TK’s forehead that the wind blew there.

TK snuggles in closer, rubbing his head into Carlos’ shoulder like an alley cat he once proclaimed they both were.

“Not really.” TK mumbles against his shirt. “I was out, but I didn’t want people to know when I had a crush. I had a reputation to lose.”

There is a LOT going on behind the scenes here, from the get-go. Who is Moe talking to? And WHAT is it on about? Well, just know that Wanting is Scary. Moe has no wants. Ignore the implication that it has been fucking Alfonse, that's not important. What's that about compensation, Moe???

Oh! It's Kiran! Hi Kiran! They have taken on the monumental task of trying to level with Moe, here. Purely out of the goodness of their own heart, and not at all indicative of... well, I mean, honestly! Anyone would be concerned for Moe! After hearing that!

Oh no you said "Want". Oh no that's like saying "walk" in front of a dog. Okay. Time to invent some new euphemisms. Allow Kiran to rephrase this. Say...... "go outdoors", instead. Surely this will get through to Moe now, right? Surely? Surely, the core issues here do not remain............

... Moe? That's still Moe, right? Of course it is. Why would you even Think, to think, otherwise? You're Crazy for that. You sound Insane. Hey, Mani -- Moe. What do you mean by that? Also Kiran are you good, buddy???

Immovable object, meet immovable object. "Does the saying not go, unstoppable force meet immovable object?" No -- I mean, technically speaking, yes, but I meant what I said the first time.

And, on a completely thematically entirely unrelated note! A little adventure! Yay! 😊 Yippee!!! 😁

It's unclear if Moe did that on purpose or just blurted it out.

Subsequently banned from secret Loki meetings. I mean that didn't really stop Kiran before. But for the sake of maintaining a shred of professionalism, in the eyes of their comrades... they will have to put that on pause for a little while. Unlike Moe, Kiran has a reputation to keep! Sad!

IT IS MESSSYYY LMFAOOOOOOOOO, I was CRUNCHING for space and some things are just out of order. I love that, for me. I sketched up the intro on a diff page, feeling like it was important context but absolutely NOT having the room for it LMFAO. And a consequence...... of having another doodle on the back of that page..... I crunched that comic too...... but wanted to keep it to a bare minimum, anyway. All you need to know is Moe has Issues and Problems. Which. Honestly. Shouldn't be news to anyone. 🧍

Realized I never posted the very first figure I made! I made it spur of the moment probably about half a year before I did any of the others, and with an air-dry clay specifically bought for taxidermy purposes. It was directly inspired by fanart (this one mostly, and to my delight in the time since they've released another). It's incredibly adorable, and originally I was like I NEED to sew a plushy version, and knowing I didn't have material to do that, realized that that what I DID have was the air dry clay, and so it went. I still want to eventually make a plushy of him tho... that would be adorable and snuggly.
