Katy - Fairy of Animals

every fairy of animals has a deeper connection to an animal type (Roxy dogs, Katy cats)

actual animal features (like teased in the show)

comes from a planet where people are most likely hybrids / have animal features

feline physiology meaning: extremely athletic, sharp teeth and nails, heightened senses, treads lightly

deep connection with animals, can understand them

mimic the abilities, traits, and behavior of animals

she can change her features into animal ones too, even her wings!

shapeshift (potentially)

she is fearful of mice which is kind of ironic as fairy of animals, so I believe, she is quite overwhelmed by her powers and animal connection

unlike Roxy, she has not a natural good relationship with them, it develops over time

that makes using magic hard for her because she doesn’t believe in herself that much 

Katy has nine “lives” like a cat and earned her Enchantix by sacrificing herself (and losing her last life) 

Khadija - Fairy of Rhythm

I planned that she’s from Eros too, like Ahisa & they have a friendly competition who becomes the Fairy Guardian first (rivals to friends to lovers)

then she earned her Enchantix by saving Ahisa but that's already Ahisa's story, so... (I didn't notice it till I re-read it. Originally, they were all written down in the same document.)

alternative: She saves her parents.

amazing dancer and perfected all but it got too much doing them all

changed rather often before settling on just doing what is fun for her

confident and independent but more in a “if nobody comes with me, I am going by myself”-sense (Aisha/Layla admired that a lot since she was less independent by choice and more forced to be alone)

She, Francis, Musa, Aisha/Layla and later Mirta had their own dancing group and weekly hangouts to talk about concerts to visit

I struggle a bit with her powers because I like to explore the depth of the girls’ powers (as you may have noticed) and just give hints what they could accomplish

rhythm manipulation could be vibration and wave manipulation (elemental powers)

dance powers, dance manipulation could be sleep inducing and tiring people out OR wake them up, give them back energy

body and mind control by controlling heart beats and sending brainwaves 

AND based on which direction her powers take, her attire would be different. for example more ballet-inspired when controlling people like a music box figurine or puppet with strings

one of the fastest fairy at Alfea (second only to Lavigne)

water-based powers

lake and river manipulation

water body creation

superspeed, speed related powers

accelerated perception, accelerated thought process 

aquatic enhanced speed

can run over water

slowing down others

dislikes insects and bugs 

bonds with Katy over having issues to really connect with her powers

she had a hard time coming to terms with her powers because she is from an urban realm and lived in a big futuristic city with hardly any nature

she drags the girls to Magix City almost every day

Dahlia earned her Enchantix by saving an ancient creature that once lived in her homeworld

I know the poll wanted to see the winx in nymphix but my brain latched onto the background fairies and would NOT let go so uhhhh here

Francis, Fairy of Laughter, is still Whimsiican from @stormcloudquill fan planet, just slightly adjusted her magic winx form here (my magic winx doesn't do big accessories like hats lol)

Miky, Fairy of Stone, is Ohmish. She's a preppy rich girl, but is genuinely sweet and bubbly

Francine, Fairy of Rivers, Lucidus Lynphean. She's calm and graceful but can be a bit clueless and spacey.

Amaryl, Fairy of Brilliance, has Ohmish ancestry but was born and raised in Magix City. She's pretty much like canon and can be a little bitchy haha

Nova, Fairy of Comets, is SoLuna Solarian. She eventually leaves studying to work in government on Solaira

Varanda Di Calisto, Fairy of Extravaganza, is Sol Solarian. She also leaves Studying magic as it was largely pressured by her parents, she completely leave Solaria and joins an asteroid colony as a performer.

Alasie, Fairy of Ice, is Glatellic. She doesn't have any personal beef with Icey but doesn't like how she's represented the events on Glatelle. She lost her eye in the chaos but still has family there and is pursuing magic as a means to help rebuild.

Ahn-Sa, Fairy of Love, is Zhenese but raised on Magix, her parents fled Zhen early on in the Civil War. She's a little mischievous but very kind.

Khadija, Fairy of Rythm, is Koyuvian. She's high energy but is very go with the flow and non-competitive, just happy to be here typa vibe.

Katriel "katty", Fairy of Animals, is Eraklyan. CAT GIRL. also a very astute observer and problem solver (she prefers to be a problem causer tho).

Silica, Fairy of Glass, is Zenithian. Another problem child for the intellectual value system of Zenith, Silica is very dyslexic and a kinetic learner. She still struggles with class work at Alfea but they have less emphasis on perfect grades than Zenith does.

Prisca, Fairy of Trees, is Dominian and Vaonaaj, raised on Vaonaa. She's low key Alfea's resident fuckboy, but more in the sense that every student has had a crush on her at some point and less that she plays with people's feelings lol. (SHE'S ARO ALSO SO)

Luluah, Fairy of Electricity, is Androsian. She's very gregarious and is always planning a party or other events.

Otensia, Fairy of Mind, is Koyuvian and Silva Lynphean. She's a bit of a stick in the mud but can loosen up if given time and some understanding.

At @supraobsessed 's suggestion, I've redesigned a couple more background girlies from Winx!

They aren't for TRC or anything, a loose rule with that au is that no one from the first three seasons can be used. Cause they would be canonically too old to still be at the schools. But I'm also redesigning them based on the design conventions FROM TRC soooooo

This is more for fun and exploring other characters. These are drafts for now, still wanna work on them and give them the time and attention they deserve.

I think if they were in TRC, they would be best friends with a Legolas and Gimli thing going on.

Winx Club Hot Take 11!

So......where the male fairies at?! No, seriously! Where are they? I know that Winx Club is a series focused on the female demographic, but we've got all sorts of magical creatures. Witches, wizards, sorcerers, paladins, pixies, and apparently even Fairy Godmothers who are active in battle. Even Nabu has in own magic and he isn't a student at neither schools we've come to know in Magix. The Specialists are an all-male school where they have no magic, but they're specialized in rescue, combat, gadgets, dragon-riding, and they deal with all sorts of dangerous magical creatures. All this and we've yet to see male fairies as important or crucial characters. We don't even get to see an all-male fairy school that could contrast from Alfea's all-female college for fairies. I don't even think there were any male Earth fairies present in Season 4. Thanks to these images provided by thebloomix on Twitter (X), these are images of male fairies in the background from the attack on the kingdom of Domino flashbacks from Seasons 1, 2, or 3, The first 2 films, and the Season 6 episode where magic trees attack on Lynphea. Considering that these fine magical gentlemen do exist, why the heck don't they get any contributions to the worldbuilding or the stories?! I feel like that would've been an interesting concept to dive into. I mean, check out the cool male fairy OCs people have made! This could've been great!

Update!!!

I wanted to make an update to my commission post since some things have changed!

Good news: I am no longer couch homeless! Yippeeeee!!!

Bad news: The aftermath of the big ass deposit and the never ending bills are kicking my ass :') I'm also trying to save money to move all of our stuff in a different state out of storage :') I'm also unemployed because of chronic fatigue, constant physical pain, and no car :') yeowch :')

I wouldve loved to see more side and background characters who are witches get their own witch forms the same way the side and background fairies did so i am making it one of my many missions to do just that :3
