Anyway I think you’re right on the naming convention meaning C!Fail accepted the dragon as family, since I believe a similar thing happened with Moom Mom! Her full name during the main stories is Mona Winplane, but I think before marrying Failwhale and getting that name, her name was most likely Mona Mothership! (which I got from an OLD Mario Kart stream Dan did with his parents)

I wonder what the dragon’s name was before befriending C!Fail tho… I’m sure he and his brother had one! Also Faildrago abandoning his old name behind + his whole “erm let’s NOT kill these guys” thing in LOS is very interesting to me, the headcanons are cooking lol

random headcanon #2: c!Fail developed a fear of dragons after LoS. It’s largely cleared up after he met the Ender Dragon that was involved with Pink Sheep, who is woefully incompetent, but sometimes ya get stuck holding onto Dominic’s tail for dear life and wonder if you’re going to get “accidentally” dropped or kidnapped or something along those lines.

edit: Ray actually came up with a headcanon that c!Failboat is afraid of dragons already oops. I guess I’ll be taking that, then
