The reason I love the CFL is there is a game called the Banjo Bowl because a punter was making fun of a rival fanbase and called them a bunch of banjo picking inbreeds. Instead of him being fined or suspended, a silly trophy was made for the game and it’s been 18 years of the Banjo Bowl following up the Labour Day Weekend game.

(I have no problem with Argos fans, it’s the rest of the Toronto sports bros who spent all their time shitting on the league because they’re convinced they’ll get an NFL team, who then turn around and rub it the Argos success in other fans faces. GTFO.)

Anyway. It’s hard to be too upset after dominating for three years, especially after decades of the team being run so poorly, and sometimes having success in spite of themselves only to have something cosmically bad happen to them. I trust them to still be good next year, too.
