Finally revealing one of my other blorbos, Niccolo Sonata! A mixed genre troll who poses as a Pop Idol up until world tour

He's a complicated bag, he's half rock half classical, his mother kind of low-key hates him, and his dad does care but is kind of paralyzed with various anxieties that comes with the fact that Niccolo is half classical (worried about his constitution and his wings) and things related to his mother (she doesn't want Niccolo to become like his dad and puts a lot of restrictions on him)

Both of his parents don't really know what to do with him, and he doesn't know what to do with himself.

He has a lot of internalized hatred towards himself and the two sides of his musical families, plus he is a secret third genre (symphonic rock) which he doesn't fully understand. He got picked on a bit in Volcano Rock City, they're a lot rougher than he's used to so he just kind of took it, which is why he looks so roughed up in one pic and the other he says they hate him in VRC

Again he's really complicated even tho he doesn't look it, if you have questions about him lmk

"We came up with the title for the 'Sheer Heart Attack' album, and it was a song that I had an idea for, but I hadn't actually finished the song, yet. By the time I had finished the song, we were two albums later, so it just struggled out on the 'News Of The World' album. It's quite interesting, because we were making an album next-door to a punk band, the Sex Pistols, and it really fit into that punk explosion that was happening at the time, which was happening right then. It was actually better that it happened that it came out on the News Of The World album."

So what was trollzart and the other classical trolls reaction and thoughts to branch growing wings?

I can't draw gore...and i am feeling a tad bit lazy!!.. and cause I'll spook the living life outta my folks... and in here cause… they would try to remove it.. but I'll help out by explaining it as best as I could..

So here’s how the process went!!….

It took his wings to grow six to eight months… and three more for the wings to grow feathers… first the fizzy type like a new chick would have and the next few months came and went to give him his adult fully flight feathers.. and a couple of years to fully learn how to fly.

At the start of them wings growing... they would develop underneath his flesh and skin... at first thought Branch, Trollzart and the classical trolls would all think that it's just muscle soreness cause before the wings... Branch would have to climb and jump and race everywhere…. And living in the mountains.. it’s both rough and hard and super tiring… they all thought that was the case.

But as the days turn to weeks the pain did not slow down nor go away… and they tried everything to ease the said soreness… in fact it kept increasing… and that’s when the developing wings started to inch outwards towards the surface.

It made Branch increasingly in pain… sore… aggravated… irritated…. And the experience made him down right scared…

Branch did tried to keep Vidal and stoic through the changes… not for his sake but for the kingdom and mostly for his father figure Trollzart…. Bit slowly and surely they all began to notice how strange acting the prince was being.

As they burst through the skin it gave him mensed pain… and that part freaked the ever loving hell outta Trollzart!!… the poor guy had no idea how to heal Branch… didn’t know what to do at that moment when them wings burst out like that and causing a lot of blood to gush out…. And could not focus and could not help Branch due to witnessing the event.

From weeks to a few months Branch’s wings still gave him pain and sore numbness and left him literally bed ridden…. Luckily Minuet was there and did help Branch… and helped cover or bandage his wings until the bleeding stops and that only happened when after the wings finished growing…. And yeah they were kept in bandages cause they were raw flesh and there was no fuzz or a fluff or even a feather on them wings… so they looked like raw chicken wings

After all that happened Branch, Trollzart and the classical trolls would be confused and wonder why and how this had happened but understood why Branch was ugly sore all along… but that gave them all the unanswered questions… mainly for Branch to ask himself.

How can a pop troll grow wings? And why only him?

Oooh! 🤩 How would Niccolo and Gryffin moving to Lonesome Flats affect the events of Trolls World Tour?

The performance of the most important songs in all of music were suddenly interrupted by two darts shooting off Poppy and Branch's sunglasses. The two trolls are shocked-surprised, then their attention is brought to the sheriff's deputy holstering his gun with flare.

Niccolo is Delta Dawns deputy sheriff, he's also a sharp shooter tho obviously his gun doesn't shoot bullets. His gun is a play on nerf guns and pellet guns, so he can fire darts with one, and interchangeable "pellets" with the other (he uses any small object that fits in the chamber, like seeds or perhaps gumdrops :] ). He also has one that's one of those trick comedy guns, the ones that usually just shoot out a flag that says bang! His has the flag and a flower that he can swap out.

As for his role in world tour I think he'd be the one to release Poppy and Co from the jail cell instead of Hickory, or he goes to speak with them and is there when Hickory frees them. He decides to tag along because he feels a responsibility to try and stop the rock apocalypse as a half rock troll. Delta is not a fan of his betrayal but allows him to leave. (This would circumvent the chase scene with them leaving in a hurry either to beat Barb to Vibe City, or because they notice Barb arriving)

It could also be that he joins and during the chase scene is when he shout explains his plan to Delta.

Either way he's on the trip.

If the fall from the cliff scene happens, he uses his wings to slow his and one other person's descent, most likely Poppy or Branch. He agrees with Branch when it comes to mistrusting Hickory. Branch would be only slightly less wary of Niccolo due to his earnestness with his heritage and believing in him when he says something off with Hickory. Niccolo did grow up in Lonesome Flats after all, he knows everyone there, so some random country troll he doesn't recognize showing up out of nowhere is a red flag for him.

During the raft segment, idk fully, I thought itd be funny for him and Hickory to have some kind of rivalry, one upping each other. Hickory builds the raft, so Niccolo is the one to kick Chaz off the boat by shooting his clarinet with gumdrops which clog up the tone holes on impact. It could still be Hickory kicking him that gets him fully away, idk, or Chaz just leaves cuz his instrument is ruined. But that would lead to Niccolo marking up the tally 1 to 1 on who is the most reliable "country" troll.

The Vibe City encounter also goes pretty much the same as the movie, when the bubbles descend everyone freaks out, Niccolo trying to shoot the bubbles and failing. Like Poppy he'd be one of the trolls not tossed around but his is thanks to his wings.

When Rock attacks Niccolo is in a bubble with Hickory but isn't there when Poppy and Hickory meet up later, Hickory having knocked him out before searching for Poppy. Which then leads to Niccolo showing up later when Barb is about to leave with Poppy, allowing him to sneak onto their critters so he can be there at the concert.

At the concert he does initially search for Poppy but gets distracted when he sees his dad in the audience, having been kidnapped with the rest of the country trolls and put into the rock section. So Niccolo has to make a choice between trying to help Poppy or being with his father. He chooses to go be with his father, apologizing for just up and abandoning him in Lonesome Flats.

The rest plays out like in the movie, Niccolo getting a shout out for being not just one genre which probably would've been a thing Poppy pointed out to King Quincy and Queen Essence when trying to be like "We're all the same!!" But they're not.

And I think he'd sing along through Delta's part in Just Sing with his dad.

Anyway those are just my thoughts since receiving this ask which was like a day or two ago lol so it's a bit messy.

I just know that Niccolo gets to have a gun and dress up like if Clint Eastwood and Oliver Peck had a baby
