Why didn't Grace call 911 and ask a friend to radio Carlos and the detective? I'm sure she knew there was a chance the male detective wouldn't take her seriously. Why risk it?
Logically I agree with you, but maybe the suspense was being counted on to add some weight the the narrative? Let’s just blame this one on Hollywood.

Jay Halstead x Sylvie Brett
Requested by @windshield91
TW: stillborn home birth mentioned (Sylvie is a paramedic) and shot child mentioned (Jay is a cop)
After Leslie Shay’s death, Sylvie Brett was the new paramedic on Ambulance 61. She was eventually invited out by the crew at Station 51 and spent time at Molly’s in her free time. She had friends that ran the place, of course, seeing as the bar itself was run by Dawson, Hermann and Otis.
She was bringing shots back to her table when she nearly ran into Jay, very carefully keeping the shots steady as she maneuvered around him.
“Shit, I’m sorry, did you spill any?”
“No,” Sylvie said with a smile, setting them on the table for her friends, then turning back to Jay. “Steady hands.”
Jay smiled back, nodding. “If you’re hanging out with these guys then you must either be a firefighter or a paramedic.” He punched Kelly Severide’s shoulder.
Sylvie laughed. “Paramedic. Sylvie Brett, nice to meet you.” She stuck out a hand.
“Jay Halstead, cop,” he replied, shaking her hand, holding a beer with his free one.
—
From then on, Jay purposefully would run into her at Molly’s. She slowly integrated with him and some of the other mutual friends they had. She liked being around him too, exchanging crazy stories of things they’d seen that week. Although Jay wasn’t a paramedic, word was he dated Gabby for a while, so Sylvie talked to him like he knew more than the average person. In turn, he reciprocated that and talked to her almost like a fellow cop. The two seemed to understand one another despite being from different worlds.
—
One night, Jay sat beside her at the bar. She was drinking alone. Molly’s was pretty empty. He gently touched her shoulder. “Hey, no friends tonight?”
Sylvie took in a breath, as if he’d startled her. “Oh, hey, no, I’m alone.”
Jay nodded. “Me too.” He swigged his beer, looking at her. “What’s going on? You okay?”
She shrugged. “I could ask you the same thing. I don’t see any of your colleagues around.”
Jay laughed dryly, taking another swig of his beer. “Lost a kid today. Shot in the crossfire.”
Sylvie frowned. “Was it your bullet?”
“No, it was the bad guys.” Jay shrugged and sighed. “Just brought up some memories I thought I buried.”
Sylvie nodded. “I lost an infant to a botched home birth today.” She shook her head, tears brimming her eyes. “Gosh, I… I shouldn’t care so much, but I just couldn’t get the little guy to breathe. He wouldn’t breathe.” As the tears spilled over, she put her face into her hands.
Jay frowned and gently rubbed her back. “Hey, it’s not your fault. It wasn’t meant to be. Sometimes… Things don’t work out for us.” He shrugged.
She shook her head, leaning into his touch. “I know, I know but… it doesn’t make it hurt any less.”
“I hear you.” Jay pulled her closer, embracing her in his arms as she wept softly into his chest. Tears even came to his eyes as he pushed his nose into her hair, closing his eyes and kissing the top of her head. “I’ve got you.”
After a few moments, the two pulled apart. Jay reached forward and cupped her face, wiping away her tears. She did the same for him. The mutual comfort as they gazed into each other’s eyes was unlike anything they’d felt before.
Jay smiled slightly at her, which she reciprocated. “Sorry to be such a downer,” she said softly.
“You’re not,” he replied. “I was already sad. You made it better.”
“You too.” She looked over his face. “I never realized you had so many freckles.”
Jay blushed softly, laughing and shaking his head. “No? I guess not a lot of people do.”
Sylvie laughed softly, taking Jay’s hand. “Let’s not sit at the bar and cry into our drinks.”
“Want dinner? I know a really good place down the block.” Jay stood and held her hand as they walked toward the door.
“Dinner sounds great.”

It hasn’t been 24 hours since the finale and here we have people accusing Stella of being dishonest about having kids…. Well that was fast 🤦🏼♀️
no literally i keep seeing people be like “it’s okay if stella doesn’t want kids!!!” and it’s like… yes it absolutely would be… if that was the case but it’s not😭like not only did she never say that she doesn’t want kids, but there is so much evidence to the CONTRARY. why would she say she didn’t have to deal with the kids part YET if it was something she didn’t want… why would she have the biggest heart eyes when kelly talks about their kids and grandkids. being nervous and hesitant towards something doesn’t mean you’re opposed to it like please use your heads people

@windshield91 thanks for sharing your thoughts and for tagging me so we could continue our conversation! hope you don't mind if I respond in a reblog, because I'm far too verbose for the comment character limit 😂
I think you know that I empathized more with Lucy in this situation, but one thing that didn't work all that well for me, and I think may also be contributing to how you feel, was the all or nothing frame the writers chose for their situation (clearly to maximize the drama). But it was very black and white for them both.
For Lucy, it was the whole truth or nothing.
For Tim, it was that Lucy had to be completely left in the dark -- she was either in the situation with him or completely out, when realistically, there was stuff he could have shared. Like, say, the fact that he was alive via text.
I do agree that her going to Nolan was out of left field; it absolutely made way more sense for her to go to Angela, but, to be fair, she also didn't actually reveal anything private because she didn't have any info to reveal 😂, but I totally get your point here and think it's absolutely valid.
For me, I do think 36 hours is an extremely long (and unacceptable) amount time to not have any kind of contact with a partner in an adult relationship when the partner hasn't provided any reason for disappearing (and Tim literally just left and said nothing at that point).
When Lucy goes undercover, Tim knows she is undercover. We've also seen that she does make it a priority to communicate with him over the course of that time when she's able to. And at the end of the day, that is Lucy doing her job, not making a personal choice to leave Tim in the dark.
I also feel like we can say with a high degree of confidence that Tim would absolutely flip a shit if Lucy went dark on him like that after even 12 hours 😂 -- so I am genuinely curious, if we saw Tim deciding to go after Lucy after she asked him not to, would that be disrespectful in the same way or would we applaud him for being so fiercely protective?
My final thought is that I think we have to put Lucy's reaction in context of everything she's already been through this season. She's having a ROUGH go, and I can't imagine how Tim disappearing and choosing to completely shut her out right when she needed him the most made her feel.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I really enjoyed reading them, and actually can completely see where you're coming from. Thanks for being willing to discuss even though we happened to end up in different positions on this one!
A person is entitled to feel whatever situation provoked inside them & process things their own way. But they can't force their partner to deal the same way.
Lucy attitude toward this situation irked me. It was more 'me' than 'what's up with Tim' or 'Us'
"Telling me you're alive is not optional" -Lucy
1. Isn't that a little hypocrite? She spent time undercover without contact and Tim has to live with the possibility. And she can't handle his 36 hours of radio silent even if he said he'll call when he could and didn't give a specific time.
2. She kept going on about her feelings (they're valid) but wasn't the right time, without knowing what's going on and She knows he is reliable. So go off on him like that? He is safe in front of her and she made her point with her first words.
3. She was worried about him and the first thing she said was telling him what to do other than asking where he is been?
"I can't tell you." - Tim
1. Can Lucy share everything that happened undercover with him? No, there are secrets. And even in patrol to protect her partner.
2. It's not just his story to tell. And wouldn't Army operations need clearance.
"Because even telling you can put you at risk with the department." -Tim
1. He told her it's Serious and Career jeopardising. Why wasn't that enough to her for now? He seemed stressed and with the same clothes so why not give him time to rest and collect himself before demanding all answers.
2. She asked him to leave. Okay, maybe the situation provoked something deep. But she acted like he's a perp not her boyfriend. Kept pressing for answers when he was looking for comfort.
"He says if he tells me what's going on, I could get fired" -Lucy
1. She thought of herself first, so went to Nolan, a subordinate but if she thought big picture wasn't Angela a better option? being Tim friend and can reason with him if needed.
2. He basically told her it's so serious but she pulled Nolan in this mess, giving him info that might harm Tim if IA asked. What if she put him in danger? What if Nolan felt obligated to report what they found? Or to lie for them?
3. She didn't respect him and went behind his back again. Didn't she get mad when he did that saying she can handle herself and would ask for his help if she needed it?
"I'm being a good girlfriend and trusting my man" -Lucy
Seriously, After trying to find out and telling Nolan his privacy. Why didn't she trust him to handle that and he would come to her if he needed her help? Just be a supportive gf? He wanted her comfort but she didn't give him that making it seems like she just want the action.

-seluck clearly know more about cenan death but let's hope he isn't involved.Do you think he suspects selim killed halilsaad?
-Cihan mother has something to do with her death and know Amel too from the past or recently met?
-Selim acts recklessly and stupid with sare at cafe like he never worked before. I'm so mad of him for forcing Akgün to betray sonar.
- The rocket team sences were the best.and the wedding too. Sonar stays with Akgün to find yağmur. You think he'll survive?
- cihan speaking german looks pretty and how he's the flowers sender? It's he and his mother are more than they looks.
Yeah, I’m wondering if Selcuk really does have anything to do with Canan’s death. I’m really hoping that he doesn’t. I love his and Akgün’s relationship and all that stuff with Akgün’s mom is the most betrayal my heart can take. I could definitely see him suspecting Selim, but I just don’t know (honestly I’m surprised more ppl don’t suspect Selim).
Cihan’s mother is definitely involved in some way, which honestly just makes me more confused because if Halil Sadi wasn’t the one who ordered Canan’s death, then was Cihan’s mom acting without Halil Sadi knowing?!? And I don’t think she knew about Emel until Soner and Naz got married.
Yeah I was surprised at how reckless Selim was being. Like I get that he’s desperate to find out who killed Canan but jeeeeez it’s really affecting how he does his job. And that part when Akgün told him that Soner and Naz got married, and Akgün asked what Selim would have done if he found out earlier. I’m like wow if Akgün’s the one being logical then we have some serious problems here 😂😂😂 oh and can I say that Selim genuinely made me so so mad, like FUMING, when he stormed into Emel’s house and started questioning how she was raising the kids. And I am so understanding of all these characters and generally willing to look the other way when they’re wrong, but wowwwww Selim was just SO unbelievably wrong and unjustified in that situation, definitely put a bad taste in my mouth.
Oh, I loved the wedding. I loved seeing Soner so happy!! And that whole speech he gave about how he wanted Akgün by his side that day and how Akgün and Eray are his best friends and mean so much to him!! 😭😭😭😭
#and yeah im wondering how Cihan became yagmur’s secret admirer too#very strange#hopefully they show us in this upcoming episode#sonyaz ask#windshield91

I hate TK becoming paramedic full time cutting him form the team.it'll reduce his screen time or they using him to give Tommy more.thoughts? But Do you think he took the position as a response/or taking a stand against his mother pregnancy? you removed the anon option, why?
Thanks for the ask! I’ll start with the TK stuff and then answer the anon question under the cut...
Paramedic TK
I mean, at this point it’s all speculation, so we don’t even know if that’s what’s happening, but I am honestly a little surprised by how much some people don’t like the idea?? I don’t think it will reduce his screen time at all - in fact, I think by having 2 main cast members in the EMT division, we would get more screen time for Tommy, TK, and Nancy. Not only that, but I think they would feel like more of the group and not just sort of... there on the side. TK would sort of bridge the gap that currently exists between them. I think making TK a paramedic would be great for not only his character (I just see him as more of a medic than a firefighter), but also Tommy and Nancy and the balancing of the show.
They all still work in the firehouse, so we can get more fire fam scenes (like the one in episode 1 or even the sad one in episode 2), and they’ll still be responding to a lot of calls together. Not only that, but it might give everyone something to do on the calls - right now it sometimes feels like they don’t know what to do with so many firefighters in a scene, so some of them get shoved in the background. Also, I’m sure we’ll get the group hanging out at Carlos’s place/outside of work. I think by making TK an EMT, the show can begin to feel a little bit more like OG 911, with less of a separation between fire and medical. I think it would be a really, really good choice that would place the show on more solid ground.
At this point, I have no reason to suspect that TK will make any life decisions - except perhaps moving in with Carlos - based on this god-awful pregnancy storyline that I am ignoring. But, we’ll have to wait and see...
My Ask Box
So, I’ve removed the option to send anonymous messages just because it was becoming a little overwhelming. I answered 15 asks yesterday, and I still have double that in my inbox. I really don’t want to delete any of them, but at this rate, there is just no way for me to catch up unless I quit my job and stop sleeping
However, I love getting messages, and I love that people want to hear what I have to say... So, moving forward, I’m going to allow anonymous messages from Monday night through Tuesday, since that’s right after the episode airs, and then depending on how many of them I get during that time, I’ll use the rest of the week to answer them. If I’m able to clear my inbox more often than that, I’ll possibly open it up a second day as well, later in the week. It’s really just so that I don’t feel like I’m drowning in asks, because I don’t want this blog to be as overwhelming as it currently is.
#ls speculation#ls spoilers#911 lone star#tk strand#I'm actually super excited about the idea#and y'all - ronen is still the 3rd billed actor on the show - his screen time is gonna be fine#windshield91#asks

I loved 911 last night. Team Michael, David and Bobby are hilarious but stalking, breaking and entering really? But did it felt awkward between Michael and David like roommates l don't know if the actors or not but they were great in S3 flirting. 911ls, I love Carlos pointing TK in the right direction to think through his action like 1×03. The soft touches were great. In 2x08 may be on of the officers ask carlos how he's holding up and his father ask why? I used to send asks as anon.
The way I would watch tf out of a series with those three getting into all sorts of shenanigans. I absolutely love the fact that Bobby and Michael are actual friends and get can get into serious and silly moments together. David is a wonderful addition and this trio is iconic. It was definitely law-breaking on their end but suspension of disbelief is ofc the biggest factor in watching shows. I think Michael and David have terrific chemistry. I loved him for Michael the second he was introduced and that hasn’t let up it. Michael was clearly on the mark with realizing something shady was going on with that dude. I’m glad that Michael was brought into the loop because he was there to rescue him from a dangerous situation.
I will spend the rest of my days screaming about my love of tarlos and why they are a beautiful ship and so good for each other. I really think TK benefits so greatly from having someone in his corner that will legit sit him down and have these honest conversations. TK can appreciate that and Carlos is good at helping in along to connect dots on things he may overlook. They have a really beautiful bond and I just love seeing those small exchanges between them. Rafa and Ronen wats deliver. I’m really excited and curious about next week, how Mr. Reyes will factor into the equation. In my dream world, he would see Carlos’ deep reaction to TK being missing and realize that this extends beyond a professional relationship and that his son is invested so greatly because the man he loves is in danger. It would definitely open up the doors for Carlos and his parents to actually talk about his romantic life which is something that Carlos has been in desperate want of since he was a teen. There’s a lot in store and I’m just really looking forward to seeing Rafa shine bc we all know he is going to be remarkable. Good chat!

12, 16, 20, 29?
12. Who is your favorite author?
If we are talking about published authors, Lori Foster. She is a romance novelist, and honestly, I try my best to emulate my writing off hers. She focuses on friendships and family in her love stories and has a perfect blend of humor, romance, and sexiness in her books.
If we are talking fanfic writers, these people are rockstars. @reyesstrand @lire-casander @brilliantbanshee @insidious-intent @beka1820 @howtosingit @andrea-lyn @unbreakablejemmasimmons @manesalex @officerrxyes @aziraphalescrowley @poeedamerons @letitialewiss
16. What fanfic tropes do you avoid writing for?
I will not write A/B/O, Mpreg, Incest, R*pe, Major Character death, affair/infidelity fic, Angst without a happy ending, Daddy kink. I won’t write it, and there is a slim to none chance I’ll read it.
20. What feedback makes you the happiest to hear?
Literally, any review/feedback will make me smile. But if you quote my line back to me with your thoughts, I will float on a happy cloud for the rest of the day.
29. What part of the writing process do you enjoy the most? (Brainstorming, outlining, writing, editing, etc.)
The brainstorming cause I get to do it with my best friend, and it’s basically us screaming at each other, with one of us saying ‘ooh, ooh, ooh, what if this happens next?’ and with the other cap locking ‘YESSSSSSS’ and a bunch of emojis following our screaming.

1, 5, 20? If you like to answer them for 911 too.
For Lone Star:
1. Was it love at first watch?
yeah, pretty much. I was obsessed the minute I saw the trailer for some reason. I literally saw it the day before it aired (and did not know the show existed before then), so I already had like the excitement momentum still at its peak when I started watching the show. I made this whole side-blog just from watching the first episode. That scene with Owen and TK after the overdose really brought me in. That’s when I knew lol.
5. Least favorite ship?
Probably Owenyth if we’re counting that, or Owelle.
20. What kept you watching?
The way the character dynamics developed, and I liked many storylines. Like I thought Judd being in therapy for PTSD with Grace was powerful or T.K. and the police station scene made me really attached.
For 911:
1. Was it love at first watch?
I enjoyed it, but honestly, season 1 didn’t have me that hooked right away. I liked some of the characters but I wasn’t that enthused with others. Like Buck took a while for me to like, and I just didn’t relate to the characters at first.
5. Least favorite ship?
hmmmm I don’t think there are any that really bother me, but probably Abby and Buck because that whole thing was not it for me.
20. What kept you watching?
Mostly, it’s because I enjoy the show and figure why not. Also, it’s pretty easy for me to watch now that it’s right before 911 lone star. There are also so many good characters that make it work watching.
911 Lone Star Ask Game 🚒 🔥 🧐

52, 12, 5? For 911ls
52. Which scene would you erase from your memory?
Possibly the scorpions...only because it freaked me out lol. Loved seeing Carlos save the day but the whole scene was just 😳
12. Least favorite theme?
The Billy plot is not my favorite tbh. I love the actor but the story just wasn’t my favorite.
5. Least favorite ship?
Probably Mateo/Marjan. Love their relationship as friends/siblings but not a big fan of the idea of them as a couple for some reason.

12, 16, 20?
Thanks!!
12. Who is your favorite author?
Starting with the hard questions, huh? There are so many talented writers in this fandom it is insane, but I will list a few of them: @terramous @bellakitse @reyesstrand @officerrxyes @prodigalleverage @lire-casander @letitialewiss and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many more, it would take me ages to list them all. Actually if you really want some recs, I did a rec list.
16. What fanfic tropes do you avoid writing for?
I won’t do smut, if that counts. I also will never do any kind of non-con or pregnancy fic. Also, ABO. Everything else, maybe I’ll get to if I like the idea enough.
20. What feedback makes you the happiest to hear?
Literally anything. I love any feedback I get but I especially appreciate when someone tells me what specific parts/lines they liked. It helps me to know what is really working, and also just feels really nice. But I love comments that are just a keysmash or an emoji just as much 💚

Jay and Mouse (Platonic) Oneshot
Requested by @windshield91
TW: PTSD, angst, some gore/violence, mention of wanting to die at the end
(Based on one of the episodes of CPD - the one early on where Jay is kidnapped and beaten.)
“Send a lone officer, unarmed, with the box. That’s what he said,” Hank repeated to the unit with a sigh.
All of the officers in his unit volunteered, each raising their hands. He would've sent Erin, but since she had given her badge up, he had no choice. Standing among the detectives and officers in his unit was the next person Jay cared the most about. An old friend from the Rangers. When Hank made eye contact with Mouse, they had a silent exchange.
Hank looked up at the rest of his unit with a nod. "I want everyone to start making fake CI files."
Hank then walked into his office, Mouse quickly following and shutting the door. "You know you have to send me."
"And you know, technically, I can't." Hank sat down at his desk with a sigh.
"I will sign whatever waiver I have to, saying that this is my own will and that I accept the risks. Because if you don't let me go, I'm going to do it on my own. I was in the Rangers. I know how sting ops are done."
"I am not doubting you, Greg," Hank said softly. "I know you're the best person for this."
He was taken aback when Hank used his real name, but nodded quickly. "Then you know I have to go. I will sign anything you want."
Hank sighed again, debating it in his head. In the end, he didn't care how it happened - he needed to get Jay back. He looked up at Mouse, then nodded. "Alright, let me get some paperwork together. We'll work you as if you were a CI going for a sting."
--
Mouse waited eagerly beside the box, looking around. He could barely make out where the rest of them were hiding. He was nervous, but felt a little safer with the shank Al had given him. It wasn't much but it was sharp and wouldn't be detected by a metal detector.
When a second car came pulling up beside his, Mouse grabbed the box, which was fairly heavy and bulky. He looked at the men as they rolled down the window. “Put it in the back.” A man got out, scanning him for weapons, then opened the back door.
Mouse cocked an eyebrow, looking at them. “Where’s the hostage?”
The man closest to him shook his head. “Put the box in the back. You’ll get instructions on your guy after we verify the files.”
“I’m not doing that,” Mouse replied, shaking his head. “I need proof of life first.”
The man scoffed. “Fine. Get in.”
Mouse debated whether he should or not, but he was desperate to get his best friend back. Besides, this seemed like small potatoes compared to his time with the Rangers. After a moment of internal deliberation, Mouse got into the car with the box of files, riding to wherever they might’ve taken him, trusting that the team would follow or find him again, hopefully with Jay.
.
When they arrived at the house, more like mansion, they led Mouse inside. He looked around, scoping everything out, planning potential escape routes. He put the box on the boss man’s desk. “I’d like my guy now.”
The boss tsk’d his tongue, shaking his head. “Relax, have a little fun. Want to take a line? On the house.”
Mouse glanced down to the cocaine on the man’s desk, shaking his head. “I’m good. Where’s Jay? Or I will walk out of here with the box right now.”
The boss man nodded to one of his guys, who opened a door. Jay was pushed through and forced onto the couch, though Jay wasn’t quite strong enough to argue at the moment. Mouse’s eyes widened and he ran to him. “Jay, hey man, it’s me.”
Jay looked up at Mouse, confused. “Greg…?”
“Yeah, it’s me. Come on.” He helped Jay stand up, but they were stopped by some of the men.
“Not so fast,” the boss said, handing the box of files to another man, who took it away. “We’re going to verify those files before you leave here.”
A pit dropped into Mouse’s stomach. He knew those files were completely fake. Jay was forced back to the couch and Mouse was forced to sit as well, discreetly grabbing the shiv on his way, holding it in his hand so they couldn’t see it. He knew things were going to go south, fast.
“Greg…” Jay mumbled. “Why are you here?”
“Why wouldn’t I be?” Greg replied, looking at Jay again. “How bad is it?”
Jay hummed, closing his eyes, then opening them again. “Six.”
“No danger zone then. We’re good.”
“Yeah, man… We’re good. Just like old times.”
“Yeah,” Mouse replied, letting out a breath as the man came back angrily.
“These guys are prisoners in different states! No way they’re CIs for Intelligence!”
The boss man stood, shaking his head. “Kill them both; make sure they suffer. Kill the tall one first and make the smaller one watch.”
“Now,” Greg said, Jay and him springing up from the grasp of the men. Jay tackled one of the men, Mouse tackling the other. He used his shank to stab him repeatedly in the abdomen, giving a final blow to the neck.
Meanwhile, Jay was doing his best, but was pushed off in his state. Mouse tackled the guy after Jay was pushed to the ground, stabbing him repeatedly in the chest and abdomen as he pinned his arms down with his knees.
Jay coughed and regained himself just in time to see a gun being pointed at him. The boss man had gotten to him first. When Mouse got up and turned, he stopped cold, letting out a breath.
“Drop it,” the boss said.
Mouse dropped the shiv, breathing heavily as he looked at the boss. He must’ve looked like a lunatic, blood dripping from his hands. He got a glimpse of himself in the mirror behind the man, but all he could see was his camouflage outfit, his helmet, and the blood of his brothers on him.
“Now, I’m going to kill you both, to make an example of you to your boss. It’s unfortunate he sent you with fake files. Otherwise, you’d be walking out of here with him, right now.”
Mouse didn’t say anything, breathing heavily. He could see the dark room. They’d been there before. He could see his brother in arms, Michael, beaten, on his knees, a gun to his head. He could see the man above them, the terrorist, holding the gun, just waiting to squeeze the trigger. He could see everything, just as it played out the first time.
But he wouldn’t let it happen again. Not to Jay. Not to his best friend. The one who helped him turn his life around. The one who he looked up to like an older brother. The strongest man he knew. Mouse, while the boss man was talking and taunting him, lunged forward, grabbing his arm. He pushed the gun up, higher, just as it went off. It missed Jay, and Mouse tackled him, wrestling for the gun. Then, he finally got it turned toward him. “I hope you rot in hell!” Mouse squeezed the trigger, the gun hitting the boss man’s heart. He was dead almost instantly.
Mouse got up, blood staining his clothes. He breathed heavily, stumbling with the gun over to the door, opening it. There stood the rest of the Intelligence team, long guns and pistols in hand. Mouse nodded. “He’s inside.” Then, he stumbled out, being caught by Hank, who took the gun from him.
“You okay? You hurt?” Hank asked, looking Mouse over as he tucked the bloody gun into his pants for the moment.
“No.” Then, Mouse continued past him, out to the front steps, easing himself down on the side, out of the way of the people coming in and out.
—
When Mouse was discharged from the ER, he went straight to Jay’s room. He was also being discharged. He walked in with a small knock on the doorframe. “Hey.”
“Hey,” Jay said, nodding to his friend. “I saw that look in your eyes in there.”
“Yeah,” Mouse said with a soft shrug.
“What did you see?”
Mouse sighed. After a long moment of silence, he spoke again. “Michael.”
Jay met his eyes, shaking his head. “That wasn’t your fault. It was an impossible situation with no backup.”
“Maybe if I’d had the balls to do what I did today, he’d still be alive. His wife would have a husband and his little girl would have a father.” Mouse couldn’t help but tear up, looking away from Jay.
“Greg, it wouldn’t have helped. The terrorists aren’t as cocky as these low-level scum. These guys are sad excuses for criminals. Most don’t have the balls to do what needs to be done. He was going to keep mocking you and taunting you.”
“I wasn’t even listening. I didn’t hear anything he said.” Mouse shrugged.
“Greg, the guy who murdered Michael wasn’t like that. He was going to shoot you, too.”
“I froze. It’s my fault. I saw Michael’s eyes as the bullet went through his skull, Jay. I saw the life leave him. His soul separate from his body.”
“That guy was a terrorist. He wasn’t like the guy today. If you had lunged forward, he would’ve shot you, then Michael, and you’d both be dead.”
Mouse shook his head, leaving the room without another word. Jay tried to follow, but was caught by Will on the way. Mouse left the hospital and walked down the streets of Chicago, hoping some stray bullet would end his pain right then and there.

You are correct @windshield91 - my mistake!
NCIS: LOS ANGELES: "The One That Got Away" Act Five
Eric calls in Anna’s location. Rogers tells Arkady what is going on. "It will be over soon.“
Kensi and Deeks are just behind Anna and the Russians when the police join the chase. One of the cop cars tries to get them off the road.
Arkady explains he lost Anna once before – they had a terrible fight. Anna was stubborn, proud, fierce. "Just like her grandmother.” Arkady explains his mother was a hard woman “had to be” – but her mother had a light in her, a kindness. He got that lightness back when Anna was born.
Callen and Sam put the Challenger in the road to stop Anna.
Arkady says when he lost Anna, he lost part of himself.
Callen and Sam fire into the SUV. The Russians driving is killed. The SUV flips over. As Sam calls for help, a two vehicles approach with lots of men with military style weapons. They shoot and kill a number of the police officers while Anna and Katya escape. Callen runs after Anna.
Callen finds Anna. She asks him to trust her. Callen says their friends are being shot at – something Anna said she never asked for.
Pulling his weapon, Callen tells Anna to drop her bag and go with him. He can’t shot her, however. Anna flies off.
Rogers thinks the plane is on the way to Russia. Arkady, who is blind drunk, is thrilled his Anna got away. Rogers has to piggyback walk Arkady home. Before he left, Rogers tells Callen and Sam that DOJ transferred Anna. But there have been lots of changes at DOJ so there is no paper trail of what happened.
Eric and Nell arrive with photos of Katya with her Russian boyfriend – Pavel Volkoff, who has the best agent in Hollywood since he’s been fully credited in two episodes where he was used in a photo. Anna is trying to rescue Callen’s dad.
Next week – in Cuba, Anna and Katya are about to be executed in front of Callen.

Rules: Post two truths and one lie. Those tagged/followers guess the lie/s.
Thank you so much to @stay-chillen for the tag 🤗🌸 ! From your post, my guess is that you loving cilantro is the lie 🤔 also it pained me to write cilantro instead of coriander 💀😂
I couldn’t choose which to include, so I added a few extra 🙈 (so four truths, two lies?) 😂 we know I talk a lot + can never get to the point … so I doubt any of you are surprised lmao

4. I can only drink warm drinks/wine in a specific glass/mug.
5. I absolutely hate villains/antagonists on tv shows 🤬
6. I always start a conversation by asking ‘how are you’/‘I hope you are well’ 🙋🏽♀️

The new promo who killed cenan? They aren't cruel to make it selcuk may be selim father. And the new poster is beautiful but some faces we don't know beside sonar family. Alperen is really handsome. I hope the get high rating, they seem worked really hard on the season.
Yeah I wonder who actually killed her. I wonder if it’s that new mafia guy they’re introducing. I really like the poster, but I did have some complaints about the way the characters are organized and the composition of the whole thing (but I think that’s just my art school brain going into overdrive idk). And more pictures came out today and they all look soooo god im screamingggg
I have a lot of high hopes for this season, I think they’re going to get great rating! 3 days left!!!
#ppl keep talking about akgün’s tan suit#but tbh he looks amazing and hot as hell#sonyaz ask#windshield91
