BG3 Match-Up Rules Are: Give me a personality description of either you or your Tav/OC. What are they like? Their best attributes? Worst attributes? Hobbies? Likes/dislikes? Preferred gender result, or if you’d like one of each gender. And if you’d be open to a poly or monogomous answer. Anyway! To start! 5 things I like about myself:

I'm self-aware (weird flex but ok). Seriously though, I at least try to be aware of all my bad habits/quirks so I can try to work on them (or at least, keep them to a minimum). I fail at it sometimes, but that's alright.

I'm enthusiastic about everything I love, and don't let age stop me. I will ramble on about my OTPs fight me.

I enjoy my art, all of it, even if its not the best. Don't get me wrong, I'm frustrated with it a lot.

I try to enjoy/engage with everything, even if it isn't my genre or hobby. I think people should be allowed to enthusiastically ramble on about the things they love, even if they don't interest me personally.

I'm a realistic optimist. That is, I always consider the worst things that could happen, and plan for the worst, but always hope that things will turn out for the best regardless. Its important to stay grounded in reality, but that doesn't mean we can't wish for the otherwise. That's just how I feel, anyway!

Here's my current top 5 right now: 1) Unknown/NTH by Hozier. This song has my entire life rn. Lowkey reminds me of Juugo for some reason? 2) Cozy hoodies. It's cold where I live and there is nothing better than getting into a giant hoodie after getting home from working outside 3) heated floors. See the reason above hahaha. heated floors are saving my feet T^T 4) Anime. I started getting back (?) into it recently after having not watched it for years and I'm having a great time. 5) Reading at a slower pace. my old toxic reading habit is binge reading a book (to the point where I'm basically just reading it to finish) but I started reading a few chapters a day only and it's been so good for me. I'm actually able to fully enjoy books now.

Holy shit 😭 as a fellow csa survivor with cptsd, not only do I empathize and totally agree with everything you’ve said and I would also set that same boundary myself, but holy fuck that troll pisses me off so much. I’ve been reading this anon’s bullshit and I literally started shaking with rage on your behalf. Absolutely disgusting and vile that this person wants your attention so badly that they’re trying to argue based on a topic that triggers you personally and completely disregarding your trauma and your feelings and your boundaries. Some people just have no empathy whatsoever. I’m so sorry you were subjected to such stupidity. I think this person just really wants your attention + just wanted to pick a fight for the sake of having one.

1. Are the princes and princesses allowed to have pets? If so then do they have any? How much are there and what are their names? And secondly if they aren't allowed, have they tried to keep any pets a secret from their siblings/mothers/maids and other workers?

2. Do the ROs have any embarrassing secrets/moments that they would like to keep hidden from MC forever?

3. Does the MC learn how to fight at some point (learn how to use a sword or any other weapon, or maybe learn magic?) and/or learn how to ride a horse for a little cdrama moment?

Anyway, I love all the questions! Since there's a lot, I put them below the cut!

1. Yes! Pets are allowed in the palace. It usually depends on the current ruler, but pets are allowed! As for current pets, I don't have a full list written down, so here are ones I know off the top of my head:

Consort Re has a really old and grumpy cat. It likes to bite and scratch everyone that's not Consort Re or her children.

Lunsu has a hunting dog named Wonton. He's very spoiled and fat so... not really a hunting dog anymore!

Dapang has a horse named Midnight and a snake named named Pearl

Luexia has a big fluffy cat named Mooncake

MC has a pet. You can choose between a dog, cat, bird, or snake.

Casao has a few birds! (and a tiger at one point)

Kenlu has ants (like the bug)

The others younger than Kenlu are too young to own their "own" pets, so they share with their siblings.

Consort Xing won't let animals in her palace. So none of her children have any. Duanzu has tried to sneak several animals in, but he's always caught.

2. Probably!

3. MC kind of already knows how to fight and ride a horse. They aren't very good, but it's basic lessons all princes and princesses undergo since the Consort Wars. But there will be a CDrama moment!

4. I really want to talk about the magic system, but I'll hold off and just answer your question.

All of them can do magic. Everyone in Nian can do magic. But some people have more Magic Aptitude than others.

In the case of the Nan family, those are: Kutuo, Shuailu, Luexia, Kenlu, and, recently, Quanying.

In Nian, Magic Aptitude tests are given yearly to all children who are 5 by a specific date. The tests measures various different aspects of the a person's magic and then categorizes them. If you want to know more, just send another ask!

That said, the ones with more Magic Aptitude, are actually less likely to have a little oopsie! But all of them (besides the ones with Magic Aptitude) have done an oopsie! Some may have nearly burnt the palace down, not naming names 👁, while others are less disastrous.
