Results!
Results are in! Shall we see who is the fan favorite among Minato’s R.I.P Märchen?
Stay in your seats, ladies and gentlemen…
Tumblr media
Queen Card!
So truthfully, I knew who wasn’t going to win this, I just wasn’t sure who was winning this. Not to say it’s one-sided, it seemed that each member has garnered a vote, with Reiaki in second place and Miku in third.
I see all the people who think Her Majesty is suspicious as hell (yes, I see them all), so in that regards… why? No matter! I’m glad to see the eccentric but regal Queen favored!
Queen Card: “We couldn’t be here without the help of you readers and the people who helped got us this far. Two years is quite the milestone. Make no mistake, this shall be the year we as a team get our happily ever after, as stated in those fairytales children adore so much. That we shall achieve all our goals and take that glory that Minato has been robbed of.”
Reiaki: “Even if we aren’t the only team representing Minato, we— I mean, I can’t speak for the others, but at least I hope this milestone is just a little step to a better future. These other girls drive me nuts on the daily, but I couldn’t think of better teammates to have! And thank you guys for being so invested in our little grand ol’ tale so far! Mwah! Thank you guys so, so, so, so much!”
Miku: “It’s been a tough little while since I only retired from entertainment recently, but it’s a warm welcome back, and I gotta thank you guys for the support so far. Our fairytale is pretty… broken, but you still keep up with us anyway. Here’s to many more years to come, as a team and as a community.”
Oh, but this isn’t over just yet!
We have one more surprise from Minato Division!
Tumblr media
Yes, you read that right! The second part of “Behind the Glass Stains” will be released shortly after a year and a half! We will be taking a quick trip down memory lane to the time before R.I.P Märchen was formed.
Last we left off, we had been introduced to Juri and Ayato Yumesato, Reiaki’s roommates. Seemingly best friends with Buster Bros!!!, though she refuses to take on a hypnosis mic and take part of the Division Rap Battle in any way.
And just the day after little Ayato’s first birthday, an active Miku is sleepily waiting to get home after a long day of rehearsals and performing. Her own manager, Shohei Ikeishi, is encouraging to take a break from idol activities, to which Miku refuses due to her loyalty to her fans. She and her manager soon realize that they are being followed by an unknown person. It is revealed the next morning that the vehicle crashed into a container yard, resulting in Ikeishi’s death and Miku’s disappearance.

#tubbo did a whole speech in the beginning about how he tried to make snowchester a safer place for michael and failed so it makes sense

That Eryn lore was so good! We really haven't had a chance to see anyone's life before the smp, so seeing his parents and him growing up with Tommy was really nice! And then his home on the server being decorated to look like he's inside the nether and Bad following him around while he gets overwhelmed by the feeling of death on the server...
Mwah, 5 stars! Eryn promised a great lore stream and he delivered!

The lore stream today was so nice! I was expecting the other shoe to drop at any second because things seemed to be going a little *too* well, but presumably it's all leading to different lore in the future. The important thing is that Michael is back with his dads and Tubbo didn't die (despite having closure with the two people who killed him and refusing to put on armour which was very worrying).
Also Eret, Techno and Tubbo was a very fun combination! They had a good balance between lore and humour. All in all a good stream and another comfy vod for the future. :D

It's that time of year again: it's Tales bingo card time! S/o to my sister's addition of 'gay' and my very specific theory about how the episode's gonna end.

Summary of the Minecraft 1.20 Update (To be named at a later time)
7 new default skins
Hanging chain signs
Bamboo wood patterns
Mosaic wood blocks unique to bamboo wood
Bamboo rafts rather than boats
Usable bookshelves
Looks like up to 6 books can be stored on them
They remember which bookshelf you've taken from last so they have redstone capacities (e.g. hidden bookshelf doors)
Camels in the desert biome
Possible for two people to ride at once
Can jump over ravines and rivers, unlike horses
Too tall for two-block mobs to attack (though if you want to fight back one person can make the camel run while the other fights)
Snapshot available very soon!
*This is not the final summary of the update*
Unlike past updates where they have promised everything at Minecraft Live and haven't been able to deliver some aspects (i.e. fireflies), these are only the features that they are very confident about. There will likely be other features revealed before the final release and they will eventually come up with an overall theme.
For now the overall theme just seems to be enhancing the features that make Minecraft the game we all know and love.
I believe they will be talking about the update in more detail on 22nd October.
Mob vote: Sniffer won with over half of the votes
3.5 million people voted overall
Rascal came second, Tuff Golem came last

the week leading up to Valentine’s Day is the busiest day of the year for angels like Jisung-- assignment after assignment of soulmates coming across his desk as the romantic holiday looms closer. don’t get him wrong, jisung loves his job. He loves getting to watch the moment two people, fated to each other finally meet-- the soft smiles, the faint blushes and shy introductions are something that makes his entire week. this time of year, though, all he really wants is to go home for the night.
he turns off the multiple screens on his desk, videos of intended lovers fading to black as his day comes to an end. closing the door and making sure to turn the lock, jisung sighs in relief as he makes his way down the hallway to the elevators, a few fellow cupids waiting for him by the door.
“hey jisung! we’re taking a trip down to earth to walk amongst the humans for awhile. do you wanna tag along?” Minho, the oldest of the bunch asks. next to him, jisung spots hyunjin, changbin and jeongin looking at him expectantly.
jisung met the group of angels five years ago, when he first started his job. inexperienced and ridiculously nervous, he clung to his coworkers throughout all of his training. although a sarcastic and rather rowdy bunch, jisung was quickly accepted for his bright smile and love for..well, love.
he had always found it interesting, the concept of love. it was merely a human emotion, but at the same time something so inhumanly complex. the idea that everyone has a person that they absolutely can’t live without, and some of them don’t even know it yet? crazy to him, but oh so fascinating.
the early days are always his favorite to watch once he’s successfully struck two people. everything is new and fun, and so unpredictable. there’s the first dates, shy hand holding, stolen glances. you never know when someone is going to finally make the first move, shyly moving closer and closer to their lover to gauge their reaction. jisung had always wondered what love felt like-- the closest he could get was his job as a cupid. he figured that would have to suffice.
when he finally reaches the doors to the elevators, he flashes a smile at the boys in front of him. “last time we went down to earth, hyunjin literally caused a traffic jam because he smiled at a dog. are you guys sure this is a good idea?” he quips, and the boys laugh while hyunjin rolls his (absolutely gorgeous) eyes.
“first of all that's not true,” he begins, and elbows jeongin in the side when he hears a sound of contradiction leave his mouth “and we aren’t going anywhere crowded, just to a café that I saw the other day when I was working.” he says, and jisung nods his head in contemplation.
“sure, that sounds like fun. I haven’t had a good cup of coffee in awhile,” he agrees, and with that, the five make their way into the elevator.
stepping out onto the sidewalk, jisung took a moment to feel the sun on his skin. this was one of his favorite parts about earth, so warm and so bright. of course, it’s nothing compared to heaven, but sometimes the change of scenery made it easier for jisung to relax.
the group is quite chatty as they make their way to the suggested café, commenting on the different humans they pass. everyone is so unique in their own ways, and it fascinates the five angels, who rarely get to walk among them. Lucky for them, they look like any other human being, meaning no one will be able to tell the difference.
the café that hyunjin brought everyone to had a light and airy atmosphere. the walls a bright white, flourishing greenery all around the restaurant complimented the white and yellow tables and matching chairs. It felt like they were in the middle of a field of wild flowers. jisung absolutely adored it, the smells of coffee and pastries filling his nose as they found a nice table next to a window.
looking around, the jisung watched as a girl made her way across the café and sat close to the entrance, with a laptop in front of her and headphones around her neck. She seemed content, sighing to herself with a small smile on her lips as she opened her laptop and took a bite of the muffin sitting in front of her.
“wait wait wait, that’s one of my humans! I’m supposed to shoot her once th- oh my god! there’s the soon-to-be soulmate too! I can’t miss this opportunity!” Minho exclaims quietly while he reaches into the backpack he had brought with him. The other cupids turn to look at him incredulously.
The ‘soon-to-be soulmate’, as Minho put it, seemed rather dull compared to his supposed counterpart. He wasn’t bad looking, but there was something about him that just didn’t seem right to Jisung. this girl seemed to match the vibes of the café-- like a warm summer day, not a cloud in the sky. the kind of day that lasts in your memories for years to come, and this man...he just was not it. Hair disheveled, seemingly in a rush as he was tapping his foot impatiently at the counter. Jisung knew that opposites could attract, but he just didn’t see it in the cards for this one.
“is this why you wanted to come down here?” jeongin asked with wide eyes, knowing that they shouldn’t be meddling unless they’re on the clock. The others turn to Minho who has now gotten two arrows and his bow out from his bag.
“Uhm….no?” he says sheepishly once he sees the stares that are being thrown at him. He takes one of the arrows and lines it up on his bow, pulling his arm back and aiming at the girl peacefully enjoying her day.
“Minho do you really think this is the best time?” jisung asks apprehensively. almost too focused on getting a good shot, Minho didn’t answer him.
He lets go of the arrow and it zips through the air, hitting the girl in the shoulder as she starts to work on her laptop. Humans can’t physically feel the arrow when they get shot-- that almost defeats the belief in soulmates. She continues on as if nothing happened, and jisung almost rolls his eyes as he watches Minho line up his second shot.
“Look,” Minho begins, “they’re supposed to meet tomorrow anyway! why not speed up the process?” he says as he draws his arm back.
Out of nowhere, a customer in the store drops a coffee cup. The sound of the glass shattering startles pretty much everyone in the café, including the group of angels. In fact, it startles them enough that the unbelievable happens.
Minho’s arm slips, and the arrow is released...straight into Jisung’s shoulder.
The two look at each other in absolute disbelief, and Jisung wants to strangle the older cupid. A very quiet “oops” leaves Minho’s mouth.
“Are you kidding me?!?” Jisung says a little too loudly. Everyone is looking at the two of them, including the girl that Minho just struck.
When the two make eye contact, Jisung feels something...strange. He knows it’s a reaction from the love arrow, but is this what love is supposed to feel like? He feels like he wants to throw up, butterflies flying in his stomach as he notices the faint blush on the cheeks of the girl across the room. That’s when he really sees her for the first time, like, really sees her.
He isn’t sure how he didn't see it before. Her hair falls perfectly over her shoulders, and her eyes that are staring at him in slight confusion still shine brighter than any star he’d ever seen..and he’s seen a lot of stars.
He’s silent for a few moments, and the other boys start looking at each other with concern. “Wait, no, what the hell? Cupid’s can’t get struck! What is going on?” Changbin says as he watches the way the two are staring at each other.
This isn’t allowed. Cupids don’t have many rules, but one of the biggest rules for any angel is: Do not associate with humans. It’s the reason why they can’t-- or shouldn't, really-- feel love in the first place. Messing with the rules of the universe could have big consequences. It’s never happened before, but there have always been enough myths that get spread around that would deter any angel from even thinking about it. Yet, here jisung is, absolutely head over heels for a human, even if it is all Minho’s fault.
“I don't know, this hasn't happened before. Oh my god, what did I do,” Minho starts spiraling. Its at that moment that the others know they need to get the hell out of there. Scooping up Jisung, who is currently still staring at the girl who has now focused on her work instead, they rush out of the café. Once Jisung is out of eyesight of the girl, he shakes his head in confusion and comes back down to earth (pun intended).
“Ohhhh no, no no no. This is bad,” Jisung says, running his hands through his hair exasperated. “Minho what the fuck happened?!” he asks.
Putting his hands up, Minho tries to defend himself. “I don’t know! That person dropped their cup and it threw me off!” he says quickly, and it makes Jisung want to roll his eyes.
“You dumbass, that’s why we shouldn’t even be down here in the first place! If Chan finds out, we’re dead! That’s it! We’re gonna be out of jobs and not able to pay our bills and-- oh my god there she is,” Jisung exclaims once he sees the girl exit the café, looking around confused. Turning around, she spots Jisung and starts to make her way towards him.
“Oh no, nope. Not now, this is a bad time,” Hyunjin says while they try to drag Jisung away from the girl. He shimmies out of their grip as she approaches him.
“Uh, hi. I think one of you left this in the café?” she says. Looking down, Jisung sees his cellphone in her hand. “I saw it sitting at the table you guys walked away from, I’m glad I was able to find you when I came outsi-- Oh, wow, hi..” she cuts herself off, awestruck when she makes eye contact with Jisung. Hyunjin rolls his eyes as he watches the two of them. Jisung doesn’t know what to say.
“Oh, yeah this is..mine..thank you,” he says as he holds out his hand. He swears he can feel electricity run through him when her hand makes contact with his. He has never experienced a feeling so strong like this before. He knew that love was dramatic but he didn’t think it was like this.
Reminding himself that this isn’t supposed to be happening, he clears his throat. “Okay well we have to go. Thank you for my phone, goodbye!” he says quickly, leaving the girl and his friends in complete confusion has he turns on his heel and starts to almost sprint in the opposite direction. The boys quickly follow him after offering a small wave to the girl, who returns it as she turns to walk away.
“Jisung, you cannot possibly see her again” Hyunjin says once they finally catch up to him. And even though Jisung knows that, there’s something that is inevitably pulling him towards her.
When they finally make it back to heaven and Jisung gets home, he pulls his phone out to check his messages. To his shock, he finds a new contact added into his phone, with a photo of a girl who’s eyes remind him of galaxies.
Y/N, aka Café Girl
As you walk down the street, you smile feeling the warm sunshine on your shoulders. It may be the middle of February, but you seemed to be blessed with a particularly warm day. This day had been nothing out of the ordinary, but for some reason you felt lighter, walking with a bounce in your step that you haven’t had in a long time.
Your mind wanders back to the boy you saw at the café not too long ago. His honey coloured hair shined under the artificial lights in the room, and his brown eyes reminding you of the warmest hot chocolate on a cold winter day. He hadn’t left your mind since the two of you made eye contact for the first time.
It’s been awhile since you’ve found someone that caught your interest so quickly. You never believed in love at first sight, but after today you just might be changing your mind. It seemed like fate that he left his cellphone on the table in the café, and it was definitely a risk that you had put your phone number in his contacts. You’ve never done something like that before, but something was telling you that you just needed to take the chance and make the first move.
Eventually, days and then weeks pass, and you haven’t even received a text message from him. You feel a little disappointed every time you check your phone, hoping that you’ll see his number come up on your screen. You didn’t even know his name, nor when (or if) you’d ever get to see him again. You should’ve been prepared for the sinking feeling in your chest, but you had still been hopeful.
You still frequented the café, mainly because it was a calm and quiet place to work, but also because you were secretly hoping you’d run into him again-- you at least needed to learn his name. That’s all you could think about while you try to focus on your work, but to no avail. You decided to give yourself a break, letting your thoughts swirl with chocolate colored eyes.
As your eyesight wanders the café, you hear the front door bell ring and you’re forced to meet eyes with the man that has lived in your head rent free for the past two weeks. You almost can’t believe it. He seems like he’s searching for something, or someone.
As he looks around the room, you get nervous. You wonder if he’ll remember who you are, or maybe he’s already deleted your number and rejected you without even telling you? Maybe he already has a girlfriend? Maybe even a boyfriend?
The thoughts running through your head completely distract your from the fact that he’s sat down in front of you. “Uhm..excuse me?” He says quietly, and your breath gets caught in your throat when you hear his voice.
“Oh, i’m sorry, I didn’t scare you did I?” he asks, and you shake your head quickly. “No! No not at all. I, uh..hi,” you say with a light blush on your cheeks, and it makes Jisung’s heart soar to the sky.
He’s definitely not used to feeling like this. He’s been trying to avoid it for the past few weeks, hoping that if he had ignored it these weird feelings would go away. He searched for hours and hours for a loophole in getting struck with a cupid’s arrow, but even hyunjin couldn’t find anything.
After nights of tossing and turning while images of you danced through his head, he knew he needed to see you. He got lucky that you were at the café, this was the only place he had ever seen you so he was hoping he’d get to catch you here.
“You never texted me, you know. Did you delete my number?” you asked him, feigning hurt. You saw his eyes go bigger as he tried to defend himself. “N-no! I definitely did not delete it. I was just so shocked that I didn’t know what to say...how did you even know the phone was mine?” He asked, laughing quietly. Jisung won’t lie, that was a pretty bold move. He was actually impressed once the initial shock had passed.
“Oh, I definitely wasn’t not staring at you across the room or anything and saw you on your phone. Definitely not,” you say with a flirty laugh, and it immediately sparks intrigue in Jisung.
The line rolled off your lips so easily, and Jisung is convinced that it’s an effect from the arrow. “Oh, were you now? How did I not notice someone as pretty as you looking my way?” He asks, and his eyes go wide when he hears himself speak.
What was that? All of this is so foreign to him, but when the blush on your cheeks gets a little darker he decides that maybe, just maybe, this will be worth the consequences he might face if Chan ever finds out about this.
“Listen,” he begins cautiously. “I have...a lot of things that I need to tell you. But let me start with this: How about I take you out on a date?”

summary: the forest is your only escape from the everyday troubles with your family until you find danger lurking behind the trees. or rather, danger finds you. your fateful encounter with the vampire ravn leaves you wishing for a different life. you strike an unexpected deal with the stranger that will soon turn into something more…

side characters: leedo and seoho
genre: vampire!au, angst, romance, humour

part one 🌙 part two 🌙 part three 🌙 part four 🌙 part five 🌙 part six  🌙 part seven 🌙 part eight 🌙 part nine 🌙 part ten 🌙 part twelve 🌙epilogue
Minutes turned into hours and hours into days. You began to lose track of time. You had no idea how long you’d spent in this terrifying place where Leedo had taken you to. You just wanted to go back home. Not where your parents were, no. That had never felt like home. You wanted to be back in Ravn’s castle, in the safety of his arms. He was the one…well, not person, but rather being who had treasured you and cared for you like nobody else.
And no matter how hard you tried to convince Leedo that you would never change your mind and love him the way he wanted you to, he just refused to let you go. Which only frustrated you further. You felt like a bird in a cage and that feeling was the worst in the world. You needed to think of a way to escape. But how? These metal bars were so hard. And Leedo never let you out of sight. True, he never physically harmed you or forced you to do anything.
But the mere fact he had kidnapped you, taken you away from the place you called home was enough of a red flag to change your friendly feelings for him into something that resembled distrust and annoyance. Since you couldn’t find a way to escape, your only hope was that Ravn wouldn’t give up on you. Maybe he would come for you.
As more days passed by, you realized you were on your own. Harbouring hopes was foolish and would do you no good. You could either die or make peace with your current situation. Or…you could try something else entirely. Something wicked and a bit cruel, but it could work, nonetheless. And since you weren’t in the mood for dying and you weren’t one to give up so easily, you decided to go for it.
“I changed my mind,” you told Leedo one day, the lie coming out easily. “I’m willing to give you a chance. I can try…to love you like you need me to.”
Leedo eyed you suspiciously. He doubted the sincerity of your words. And for a good reason.
“Do you expect me to let you go, then? Just like that?”
Actually, it wouldn’t be such a bad idea. But of course not. You weren’t that stupid.
“Someday, you will,” you responded, attempting to sound absolutely convinced by the validity of your statement. “Give it time.”
A desperate wish for it to be true appeared in Leedo’s stare. Good. Let him dream.
“Really? You’re willing to try?”
“I am if you are,” you lied once more. What’s another one? You’ve come so far…
“What about the vampire you claim you care about?” Leedo reminded you, which briefly troubled you. But you had to play your cards right if you wanted out of here. You had to deceive Leedo successfully in order to go back to the one you truly loved.
“Well, you were right about him. He’s just a cold-skinned bloodsucker. You could be so much better for me,” the words sent pangs of guilt down your spine as you pronounced them. You didn’t mean any of it, of course. But you had to try your best to convince Leedo you did. If you couldn’t escape on your own, you could manipulate him into letting you go. You only hoped that you were good enough an actress to make this work.
“I’m glad you’re finally beginning to see the error of your ways. We could be so good together, you and I.”
You resisted the urge to vomit. He was delusional. But you had to play along.
“Sure, we could. Now, tell me,” you murmured in what you were wishing sounded like a seductive voice, “What does a girl like me have to do to get some fresh air and a bit of sun around here?”
Leedo laughed. He obviously wasn’t as dumb as you’d hoped he’d turn out to be.
“Not yet. But we’ll get there, I promise. I’ve been very patient with you. What’s a couple more weeks?”
Weeks? If you had to spend another night in this godforsaken place, you would die. You had to get out of here soon or you would lose your mind.
“Right,” you attempted not to sound too crestfallen about it. “Well, until then, we could get to know each other better.”
Leedo smiled.
“What do you want to know?”

Ravn’s POV
As soon as I found Seoho, I told him everything that had happened and begged him to help me find her. I couldn’t live without her and I had no intention of letting her go. He listened to my pleas calmly, without saying a word. When I was finally done, he spoke:
“Of course, I will help you,” Seoho started. “Even though I don’t trust humans…”
“I’m sensing there’s a big but coming.”
“But I’m afraid we might be too late.”
“Too late?” I whispered, immediately panicking. “Is she dead? Did the werewolf do something to her?”
Seoho shook his head in a composed manner.
“That’s not what I meant. Too late as in…she might have betrayed your secret. You could be in danger, Ravn. You don’t want what almost happened to Xion to happen to you, do you?”
“Y/N’s not like that, I swear. She would never do this to me.”
“Alright, then. Do you have something of hers so that I could cast a locating spell?”
I nodded and handed him one of the books I’d gifted her a while ago. She would read from it every night before sleep. I figured it was her most prized possession.
“Shakespeare, huh?” Seoho chuckled. “Okay, just…go sit in the other room, don’t distract me and I’ll call you when I’m ready.”
I agreed, even though it was impossible for me to sit and stay calm in this current predicament. I was losing my mind. I had to find her soon. What if she was hurt? What if…I never got the chance to see her again? The chance to…tell her everything she meant to me…Tell her…
“She’s near the river in that forest of yours. In some sort of…prison cave,” Seoho informed me a while later.
I wasted no time and stormed out of the room without even bothering to thank my best friend. He’d understand, I told myself. But before I could make it outside of his house, Seoho had teleported next to me and grabbed my hand.
“Where do you think you’re going, lad?” he scolded me. “I’m coming with you.”
“I can’t ask you to…risk exposure. I know how much your secret means to you.”
Seoho obviously disagreed with me.
“You’re not asking. I’ll come on my own free will. You’re my best friend, Ravn. If you care about that foolish human, I feel it is my duty to help you out.”
“Seoho, you really don’t have to…”
“No time for arguing,” he shut me up. “And besides, me teleporting us there would be much faster than your vampire speed.”
I laughed wholeheartedly at his sensible observation.
“Lead the way, powerful wizard.”
Before I could blink, we were standing near the river. Closeby, there was indeed a cave that I had never seen before. I had heard rumours of its existence but never laid eyes upon it. So strange…I rushed ahead, eager to save Y/N from whatever torments that…dog had put her through. But before I could do so, Seoho stopped me once again.
“What now?” I complained because of his apparent eagerness to slow me down.
“Before we go in there, there’s something you should now.”
“Just say it already, the tension is killing me,” I groaned.
“Ravn. You’re already dead,” Seoho reminded me.
“Not helping, Seoho,” I sighed.
“Okay, okay, sorry. Y/N must be nearby so I…heard a fraction of her memories. She had just told that werewolf something very disturbing about you. I’m not sure I can even say it, it’s too vile.”
“Just go ahead,” I rolled my eyes. What could possibly be worse than losing her?
“She said and I quote here, so please, don’t get mad at the messenger ‘He’s just a cold-skinned bloodsucker. You could be so much better for me.’ Listen, man, it’s highly possible that her and the werewolf have been working against you. I told you that humans can’t be trusted!”
I shook my head, refusing to believe him.
“No, that can’t be true. Are you sure you heard it correctly? It must have been the wind or…”
Seoho, however, was determined that she had, in fact said that.
“I’m telling you, it’s best we get out of here. It could be a trap. We don’t know what we’re walking into, Ravn! Humans are such wicked creatures, it’s not safe.”
“No, no,” I repeated helplessly. “I can’t just leave her here. I love her, okay? And even if she doesn’t love me back, even if she did say these things about me, I still can’t let anything happen to her.”
Seoho scoffed in disbelief.
“It’s your funeral, mate.”
I shrugged.
“Like you said earlier. I’m already dead.”
I hurried towards the entrance of the cave.
“Then I’d rather die by your side than just stand outside like a coward!” Seoho yelled right behind me.
“If you’re scared for your life, you don’t have to come in. I won’t blame you, I’ll understand,” I reassured my friend.
“I’m not scared for my life. It’s you I’m worried about,” Seoho replied.
“While I’m sincerely touched,” I squeezed his arm. “I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself.”
“Not against a werewolf, you’re not. Dumbass,” he added that last part affectionately.
“Well, two dumb brains are always better than one,” I joked and the two of us went inside.

Reader’s POV
This shit wasn’t working. You were being so nice and pliable to Leedo and he still hadn’t let you go! Ugh, men! You wanted out so badly but you couldn’t risk being too forthright about it or it would ruin all the careful planning, all the progress you’d been making so far. Just a few more days, you kept telling myself. Just a few more and he’d believe you. You had to be strong enough to continue with the lies, with the whole acting scheme. They would be successful. Or you didn’t know what you’d do with yourself. You missed everything so badly. You missed holding Ravn’s hand. You missed reading books in his big…library. You missed making flower crowns for him. You even missed him drinking your blood. To think that the one time you’d found a home for yourself…only to have it taken away from you so cruelly. It was really unfair. You had never before been in a situation where you had to deceive someone on purpose. You had never wished ill upon anyone. So, for whatever crimes you were being punished, you couldn’t help but get frustrated by the injustice of it all. Just when you were getting entirely lost in the memories, Leedo interrupted your thoughts.
“You know…I was thinking we could have a walk. I won’t let you out of my sight, so don’t try anything stupid.”
Was this actually happening? Or were you dreaming?
“Of course not. I told you already. I changed my mind.”
“Good,” Leedo gave you an encouraging smile, which you desperately wanted to wipe off his smug face. No sooner had he unlocked the metal door leading to the outside world, to the light, to freedom, than you heard unexpected noises coming from somewhere nearby. Was it possible? Had he really come for you?
Seconds later, you were greeted by a heavenly sight. Ravn and Seoho were only a couple of metres away from you. Never before had you felt so grateful to see such familiar faces! You immediately forgot all about your plan to deceive Leedo and rushed into Ravn’s arms. He let you hold him but didn’t say a word, simply welcoming you silently. But why? You had missed the sound of his voice.
“It was a trick, wasn’t it?” Leedo finally realized. “You never loved me, you just said all these things so I’d let you go, didn’t you?”
You gulped nervously and even though you didn’t want to leave the comfort of Ravn’s arms, you felt like you had to confront Leedo yourself.
“Yes, it was all a lie. I never meant any of it,” you confessed.
Ravn gave Seoho a pointed look, which at the time, you didn’t understand.
“Well, I don’t care. If I can’t have you, then neither can he,” Leedo attacked Ravn before you could register what was happening. You wished you could do something other than beg them to stop, but you were so scared that you could barely move. They were going to kill each other right in front of you and you were too frozen to think. Luckily, Seoho’s reflexes worked faster than yours. He hurriedly got between them, trying to make them stop. However, before he could do so, Leedo accidentally pierced him in the stomach with a blade that had somehow appeared from thin air and Seoho stumbled onto the ground. You ran to his side and knelt down next to the magician.
“Oh, God, are you okay?” you asked.
Seoho nodded weakly.
“I didn’t mean to stab him,” Leedo defended himself. “I meant to kill the bloodsucker!”
“Oh, right, ‘cause that makes us all feel so much better!” you hissed sarcastically.
“Just…stop fighting and ask the girl who she wants to be with, you imbeciles!” Seoho murmured before passing out.
“Shit,” you and Ravn swore simultaneously, desperately trying to help Seoho regain consciousness.
“You didn’t answer the question,” Leedo pointed out.
“Is that really your biggest concern right now?” you snapped at him. “Seoho could literally die because of you!”
Leedo looked away as if it wasn’t any of his concern. That bastard…
“I want to stay with Ravn and help Seoho, in case it wasn’t obvious,” you spelled it out.
Leedo nodded and started walking away wordlessly. In the meantime, you were pressing your hand against Seoho’s wound so that he wouldn’t die from the blood loss.
“If I ever see you again, I will kill you,” Ravn vowed, giving Leedo an icy glare.
“Likewise,” Leedo roared and left you all in that damn cave.
Once he was out of earshot, you noticed Ravn slowly backing away from Seoho.
“There’s so much blood,” he panted weakly.
“Fuck, I almost forgot,” you were worried for a second that Ravn would lose control. Despite the fact that Seoho was his best friend, it was only natural that he was disturbed by the smell and look of it.
“I don’t want to hurt him,” Ravn closed his eyes, pained and ashamed to admit that he was so easily affected.
“You won’t. You should get out of here and bring me supplies from your castle. Herbs, medicine, anything you can find,” you sensibly suggested. “It’s my fault he got hurt in the first place. If it hadn’t been for my friendship with Leedo, none of this would have happened,” you couldn’t help but blame yourself for it all.
“It’s not your fault you see the good in people. And…I’ll do what you asked. We’ll talk more when I return, promise.”
You nodded.
“I’ll stay with Seoho and try to stop the bleeding.”
“Thank you,” Ravn said and ran outside at the speed of light.
To be continued…

Frustrated - Noah Centineo Imagine
Tumblr media
anonymous said:
Okay so it’s no secret that Noah is like the softest human alive. And because of that I feel like he would sometimes get insecure especially if his gf and him hadn’t spent much time together lately. Could you please write a fic about that? Like y/n is hanging out with a male co-worker alot a Noah feels neglected/quiet when y/n figures out what’s up she comforts/reassures him? With a cute cuddly ending obvs!!
You got it!!
I’m gonna have this build off my STEM Reader x Noah Imagine, so be sure to read that beforehand! Additionally, check out my masterlist!
Word Count: 1,328
“Babe. Bab-Babe! I gotta go.” You say, attempting to break from Noah’s grasp. “I was almost late yesterday.”
“But I’m gonna miss youuuuuuuuu.” He says, pouting. He throws himself back on his couch like a toddler, frustrated.
“But don’t you want a smart, independent, financially secure girlfriend?” You says, straightening out your blouse and putting on your blazer.
“You know I don’t care about the last category.” He says, voice muffled through a pillow.
“Fine, we can split the bills 80/20 because of the gender wage gap.” You say, kissing the top of his head. “See you later!!”
You grab your keys and take the elevator down to the garage. Your phone buzzes almost instantly, and it’s a snapchat from Noah. You open it and it’s a photo of him pouting with the caption,
miss u already :(
Dork.
Living with Noah has been amazing. After your apartment was cleaned you moved back in to finish out the rest of the Spring Session, but Noah insisted you moved in with him for the summer. At first you were hesitant, but once you finally got your dream internship at Google--which just so happened to be 10 minutes away from Noah’s apartment--you decided to take him up on his offer.
As you pull up to the parking lot and into your space, you let out a deep sigh. You loved interning here and you were learning fast, but the other interns were so... rigid. The only friend you’ve made here is a guy named Max, who’s a year above you at his school.
Tumblr media
“Hey!” Max says, as you get out your car.
“Oh. Hey Max!” You say, locking it.
“This is like... the second time we’ve gotten here at the same time.” He says, laughing.
“Well, great minds think alike.” You say, “And you sure do bring a new meaning to business causal.”
“My Henley shirt is casual,” He says, “but the checkered blazer is business.” He says, putting it on.
You shrug.
“You’re lucky Google is chill.” You say, laughing.
Shoot, I forgot to snap Noah back.
You whip out your phone, close your eyes, and make a kissy face. You type out,
Maybe I’ll come home for lunch ;)
Before you hit send, you notice Max in the background of the photo sticking his tongue out. You shrug and sent it anyways.
“Thanks for photobombing, my guy.” You say with a chuckle as you approach the door.
He jumps in front of you to open the door.
“No problem.” He says, crossing his legs and bowing.
You roll your eyes and walk through.
By the time lunch rolled around, you were knee deep in coding a new menu-toggle for a new function in Google Docs. However, your stomach didn’t care.
Can’t. Stop. Coding.
You check your phone.
12:30pm.
At this rate, I’ll be done in 30 minutes. That’ll leave me another 30 minutes to eat-
*thump*
Your thoughts are interrupted by the sound of a savory-smelling Spaghetti Bolognese being placed on your desk. Your mouth starts watering.
“I saw you over here with your head in the screen.” He says, smiling. “God bless, Postmates! And the company card.” He holds up an American Express Gold Card.
“Oh my god, thank you.” You say, taking the lid off.
“No worries.” He says, “I’ll let you get back to that.”
As soon as you fork a hefty amount into your mouth, your phone starts buzzing in your pocket. You take it out and it reads,
Incoming FaceTime Video
Noah Fifty-Cent 🤪
Fuck, I forgot I had said I might come back.
You answer it.
“Hey, babe!” You say, trying not to have your smile riddled with guilt.
“Hey... I’m guessing you can’t come back.” He says, sighing.
“Yeah, I’m sorry baby. I’m coding a new function for Google Docs and it’s taking forever.” You say.
“It’s okay, I get it.” He says, smiling a bit, “I mean I don’t because I’m not wicked smart and can’t code-”
“Shut up.” You say, laughing.
“I’ll see you tonight.” He says, blowing a kiss to the camera.
“I’ll see y-” You say.
“Hey, y/n. One last thing-” Max says, walking into the frame. You turn to face him.
“Yeah?” You say.
“Could you-” He says, before seeing Noah’s face through the call. “Oh. Hey, man!”
“Hey Max...” Noah says. You turn back to face your phone.
“I’ll see you tonight, okay?” You say.
“Yeah, see you.” He says before hanging up. You turn back to face Max.
“Ah... sorry about that. I just left my phone on your desk.” He says, picking it up. “Later.”
“Bye!” You say, turning back around.
Well, this spaghetti isn’t gonna eat itself.
By the end of the day, you’ve finished the menu along with half of tomorrow tasks. Feeling accomplished, you shut your computer down and head to your car. You flip out your phone and record a Snapchat for Noah.
“Since you’ve been waiting so patiently, fire up your favorite movie and have it ready. I’ve placed an order at our favorite place with the outrageously gooey brownies and the lasagna that tastes like your dad’s-” You say, until you’re interrupted.
“Hey, y/n!” Max says.
“Oop. Ah, okay.” You turn around, and then back to the camera, “I’ll be home soon! Mwah!” You say, blowing a kiss to the camera. You type in his username and send the video.
“Hey...” Max says.
“Yeah?” You say turning to Max.
“A few of the people in the offices are going to this dope lil’ bar a couple blocks down. Did you wanna come with us?” He says, smiling.
“Ah, thanks! But I’m having a night in with my boyfriend.” You say.
“Oh, dope.” He says, “Next time, then?”
“Yeah! Have a goodnight!” You say, hopping in your car.
“You too!” He says before walking to his own.
~
“Babyyyyyyyyyyyyy..” You say, walking through the door. “I got the comfort food!”
You place the food on the counter and see Noah on the couch. If he hadn’t showered, you wouldn’t been able to tell if he moved from that spot all day.
“Yay...” He says, queueing up ‘Love’ by Gaspar Noé.
“Babeeeeee.” You say, going to comfort your obviously grumpy bf. You still on the couch and swing your legs across him, then nibble on his ear.
He laughs a little and the sighs again. You kiss his cheek and ask him,
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing. It’s stupid.” He says, giving you an eskimo kiss.
“It’s not stupid.” You, running a hand through his curls. “Tell me.”
He sits there quietly as you pepper his face in kisses.
“It’s just... I don’t know.” He says, squinting, “I think I’m kinda jealous of Max.”
Your eyes widen.
“What, why?” You say.
“It’s like... Whenever I call you at work, he’s there.” He says, “The little sticker on the lid of the spaghetti said ‘Maxwell Anderson’, and it doesn’t help that he’s gorgeous.”
You chuckle a little.
“Like, is he a real person? I think the simulation glitched.” Noah says.
“Babe...” You say, hugging him.
“I know I get to sleep next to you and wake up with you but... the fact that he can connect with you on a level I can’t... makes me a little sad.” He says.
“But baby, I taught you how to make an input-output program...” You say, leaning on him.
“That’s not the same, and you know it.” He says, pouting.
“Hey.” You say, turning his face to meet yours. “Coding isn’t everyone’s thing. But you wanna know what my thing is?”
“What?” He says.
“You.” You say, before drawing him in for a deep kiss. It starts soft, but slowly grows in passion.
He pulls away.
“I love you.” He says.
Your heart skips a beat.
That’s the first time he’s said that. Oh my God.
“I love you, too!” You say, peppering his face with kisses. “Okay, now let’s eat before I eat you.”

Season - Spencer Reid x OC - Chapter 3
Tumblr media
Seasons - Chapter 3
Queens, New York - Amelia Sanderson’s Home
Two days passed without much of anything happening. The FBI kept a low profile and helped sort through the files and get a solid profile on their unsub. They’d been to various homes of various victims and asked the same questions of the families of the women that they were asked when their loved ones first disappeared.
Until the third day. Amelia Sanderson, a twenty seven year old banking exec didn’t come home from work. She was brunette, athletic and a workaholic. She drove the BQE home from work each night. The unsub had taken his next target.
‘Mr Jones, I’m Detective Doherty with the NYPD.’ Lennox stated in her routine way. ‘I hope you don’t mind I have some consultants looking in on the case. This is Aaron Hotchner and Dr Spencer Reid.’ She motioned to the two ‘consultants’ behind her.
Hotch shook the hand of Sanderson’s boyfriend and Reid just gave him a small wave. He wasn’t much for skin on skin contact, too many germs and diseases were passed that way.
‘Thank you for coming. Please call me Pete.’ Pete led the three of them to the living room of the home he shared with his long term girlfriend Amelia. He took a seat in one of the armchairs and Lennox in another while Hotch took the couch and Reid stayed stood. He started letting his eyes graze around the room hoping to get a better idea of their missing women from the items her home held. It was amazing what you could tell about a person by their belongings if your mind was analytical enough to connect the right dots. And Reid’s mind was more than analytical enough.
‘Pete, how long has Amelia been missing?’ Lennox leant forward in her chair and watched the grief stricken man. His eyes were blood shot and heavy giving away his lack of sleep.
‘Since last night. She called me when she left the office telling me she’d be home soon. After a few hours passed I got worried. I called her several times but her phone wasn’t ringing, it just cut out. I called her parents, her friends and her boss but no one had seen her. I called the cops but they told me it was too early to register her as a missing person and that I should try and sleep. How the hell could I sleep when my girlfriends missing?’ A small tear rolled down his cheek. ‘When I couldn’t get hold of her this morning I called the cops again and then you showed up.’
Reid reached out and stroked his finger gently along a framed photograph on the mantle.
‘She was athletic?’ He spoke up and all eyes turned to look at what he’d found. A photograph of Amelia in running gear proudly showing off a medal.
‘She ran the New York marathon last year.’ Pete sniffed. Reid nodded and turned back around. Pete’s eyes stayed on the young doctor. Lennox knew what he was looking at, what was so noticeable through his tight clothing. Lennox had to speak and try and get the man’s attention off Reid. For a so called genius, he wasn’t seeming all that smart to her.
 ‘Pete, we need to know-’
‘Is that a gun?’ Pete stood up from the arm chair pointing at the bulge at Reid’s lower back. Lennox sighed and ran her fingers through her dark hair. Reid turned back to look at him, at a loss for words. He looked to Hotch and then to Lennox to get him out of this.
‘Mr Jones I think that-’ Hotch began but Pete wasn’t listening.
‘Why would consultants carry weapons?’ He was scrutinising Reid and the genius felt his IQ practically slash in half under his steady gaze.
 ‘Well uhm...you see...’
‘They aren’t consultants are they?’ He turned back to Lennox who had now stood up too. She couldn’t lie to him. She just hoped she could convince him to keep quiet about this.
‘In a way.’ She shrugged. ‘They’re agents with the FBI’s behavioural analysis unit.’
‘FBI?’ His voice raises several octaves and everyone saw the fear on his face. ‘Why are the FBI in my house asking me about my missing girlfriend?’ He directed his question at Lennox. She knew she was going to have to be honest, this man wasn’t going to buy a lie.
‘Well you see, I called them into help on a case...’ she trailed off because the look on Pete’s face told her he already knew what she was going to say.
‘The Butcher? You think he has Amelia?’ His voice was still raised as more tears escaped his eyes.
‘She fits his victim type.’ Hotch spoke up from his place on the couch.
‘I thought he’d stopped killing? I thought he’d gone away?’
‘We tried to keep it quiet Mr Jones. If he thinks we’re getting close he stops and if he stops then we’ll never catch him.’ Lennox spoke softly, trying to calm him.
‘You’re trying to keep a serial killer quiet? Do you hear yourself?’ His raised his voice again. ‘When we knew he was around Amelia always avoided that route, she only started using the expressway again recently. If you’d not kept this quiet she might still be alive!’
‘Mr Jones,’ Hotch stood now and crossed the room to the man. ‘We don’t believe your partner is dead. This unsub keeps his victims for exactly thirty days, we have time to find her.’
‘And how many others did you find?’ He snarled and fell back to the chair. Lennox came over to him and crouched in front of him.
‘Mr Jones, I am so sorry this has happened to you. But we couldn’t risk him retreating again or he could go undetected for years.’
‘So you let him keep killing instead? And you don’t warn people that he’s still out there.’
‘We need to keep this low-key Mr Jones. We can’t have people finding out we’re here investigating him.’ Hotch tried to reason with him.
‘Bullshit!’ Pete spat. ‘People are going to keep dying unless they know he’s still a threat! Get out of my house! Get out right now!’
Lennox, Hotch and Reid exchanged a look. There wasn’t a lot they could do. They just had to hope he wouldn’t go blabbing about this. Something told Lennox he would though.
She reached into her pocket and pulled out her card.
‘Mr Jones, if you decide you would like to talk to me please feel free to contact me.’ She tried to hand him the card but he refused to take it.
‘Get out.’ He spat. ‘It’s your fault she’s gone.’
Lennox sighed and put the card on the table. She motioned Reid and Hotch towards the door and led the way. She stepped outside, the two agents following behind. Hotch gave Reid a sidelong glance.
‘You know for a genius,’ he spoke with a twinge of annoyance to his voice. ‘You can be really dumb sometimes.’

Brooklyn, New York - Brooklyn Queens Expressway
‘Talk to me baby girl.’ Morgan put the phone on speaker and Rossi and Prentiss gathered close. ‘You’re on speaker though so behave.’
‘Or what?’ Garcia’s voice came down the phone line, heavy with flirtation. ‘You’ll spank me?’
Morgan laughed with a roll of his eyes.
‘How’s the cold case search coming?’
‘Well my beautiful chocolate badass, my search yielded at least a hundred unsolved homicides matching your victim profile in New York five years and previous.’
‘But?’ Prentiss spoke, knowing there was always a but with Garcia.
‘Who’s are we talking sugar?’ Garcia had a smirk to her voice. ‘Derick’s thick and juicy butt or Reid’s little skinny behind?’
 Prentiss couldn’t help but laugh.
 ‘Garcia behave.’ Rossi spoke up.
‘Sorry sir, we can talk about yours if you-’
‘Garcia.’ Rossi’s voice was half impatient but half amused.
‘Ok, Ok. So after I cut down the ones with little to no torture and any that didn’t involve some level of strangulation I ended up with five names going back another year prior to the first known vic. Levels of torture aren’t quite as severe as in all the known victims and he didn’t keep them as long, some only a few days. They were all within our age range but not all brunettes. Also there’s no connection to the BQE in any of these cases.’
‘Garcia, how long of a gap is there between when the last unknown victim was discovered and the first one we know of?’ Prentiss asked her, hearing their tech analyst tap a few buttons on her keyboard.
 ‘Thirty two days.’
‘Lennox’s theory about him going to jail for a brief stint could be right. Thanks sugar.’
‘Goodbye darling profilers. Stay safe.’ Garcia hung up.
‘The first five are practices. He doesn’t keep them as long as he doesn’t torture them as bad. He gets picked up for a misdemeanour, spends thirty days in prison in which he underwent, at least in his eyes, bad treatment. He comes out and takes the first known victim and keeps her for the symbolic thirty days.’ Morgan addressed Prentiss and Rossi.
‘What’s the significance of this area?’ Rossi looked around where they stood, the area surrounding them was where their victims had been snatched from.
‘What if he had multiple DUI’s? A small prison stretch, usually a thirty day licence ban.’ Prentiss mused. ‘What if he was picked up on or around the BQE?’
‘By a brunette female cop I bet.’ Rossi added. Morgan pulled his phone from his pocket again and hit redial.
‘You’re through to the BAU’s technical fairy Penelope Garcia. Speak for the information you seek.’
‘Garcia I need a list of people arrested for a second or third DUI five years ago. I only need names of people who were arrested by female cops.’
‘I’m all over it sugar plum.’
‘Did Doherty ever work traffic? She fits his victim profile.’ Rossi mused.
‘I already looked into that and sadly no she didn’t.’ Garcia huffed slightly.
‘You looked into her?’ Morgan smirked.
‘Only brief history. I like to make sure my babies are safe.’
The three profilers laughed a little at the protective nature of their tech goddess.
‘Thanks Garcia.’ Prentiss said with a roll of her eyes.
‘Mwah! Garcia out.’ Garcia made a kissy noise down the phone and hung up.
‘Let’s get back to PD and tell the others our theory.’ Rossi told them and they headed to their SUV.
——————————
Brooklyn, New York - Brooklyn PD
Morgan relayed their new theory to Lennox and the team back at PD and a few hours later an email arrived from Garcia with the list Morgan had requested. The list contained just under two hundred names which they laid out on Lennox’s desk.
‘I guarantee one of these men is our unsub.’ Morgan said staring down at the names.
‘The problem is, which one is he?’ Lennox shrugged.
‘We can narrow it down to anyone thirty to forty.’ Hotch told them, distributing the pieces of paper and handing them out for people to comb through.
‘We could probably narrow it down further to people arrested on or around the BQE.’ Lennox added.
‘Good. You guys start narrowing it down by age. When you’re done give your findings to Reid and he’ll start on a geographical profile based on where they were arrested.’
There were nods of agreement at Hotch’s words. Lennox took her list to her desk, JJ and Prentiss sat with theirs on the other side of her desk and the others went to the meeting room. Reid hung in the office too a little awkward with nothing to do until someone finished their list.
He let his eyes flick around the room trying to learn more about Lennox by her surroundings. Every now and again Lennox felt his gaze fall on her. She didn’t look up, she tried to work through it but it was making her feel a little uncomfortable. But Reid couldn’t help himself.
He took in the profile of her face. Although she tried to come across stony and standoffish her soft features made it hard for her to look anything but angelic. Reid was completely taken with her and it was bothering him. He didn’t often get this way. But there was something about her, something he couldn’t put his finger on. But he couldn’t act upon it so it didn’t matter. He just had to try and get on with things until the case was over and they left. And then he’d never have to worry about it because he was sure their paths would never cross again.
Lennox finished her list quickly and stood up to bring it to Reid. He raised an eyebrow at her.
‘That was fast.’
‘You’re not the only one who’s a fast reader, Dr Reid.’ She handed him over her list and their hands briefly touched.
Normally Reid would immediately be digging in his bag for some antibacterial gel after touching someone like that but he couldn’t move. Her hand was soft and warm. Their eyes met and he was sure she had felt it too. The spark. The ignition of something inside. She looked a little startled.
Prentiss looked up from her list briefly to see Lennox and Reid staring at each other, frozen to the spot. It didn’t take a profiler to see the heat between them. She nudged JJ in the arm and the blonde looked at her. Prentiss pointed over JJ’s shoulder. JJ turned to see what Prentiss was looking at and a smile came to her lips.
Reid was one of JJ’s closest friends, he was even god father to her son Henry. In all the years she’d known him she could only remember maybe one other time he had looked at someone like that. Lila Archer, the Hollywood actress Reid had a brief fling with while on a case a few years ago. She could see the signs clearly by the way he was looking at her. He liked Lennox. She thought Lennox probably liked him too. She thought it was sweet.
‘Hey Reid!’ Prentiss spoke up, snapping the young doctor out of his stare off with a small jump.
‘Huh?’ He looked startled and confused.
‘The Geographic’s aren’t going to profile themselves.’ Prentiss smirked at him. Reid felt himself turning a hundred shades of red so he turned his back on the three women to face the map on the wall.
‘Sure. Ok. Profile.’ He muttered under his breath making Prentiss laugh.
Lennox also felt her cheeks burning so she quickly excused herself from the room. The ring caught her eye again as if to remind her. As if she could ever forget.

Brooklyn, New York - Unknown Location
Amelia woke up and tried to stretch her limbs only to be met by the feeling of cold hard concrete. She tried to sit up and could only just manage to do so in the small space. She looked down to see she’d been stripped of her clothes and was only in her underwear. Her ankles were chained to one of the walls. The only wall that wasn’t concrete was made of what appeared to be a thick sheet of Plexiglas. She crawled to it and her eyes met another woman’s opposite behind another layer of Plexiglas.
‘Where am I?’ She spoke, her voice low and croaky. The other woman shook her head with a small shrug. Sound proof. Amelia screamed regardless, her heart beat racing.
‘Let me out of here!’ She screamed as her tears started falling. She knew it was no use. She knew no one would hear her.
She also knew she was going to die.
——————————
Brooklyn, New York - Brooklyn PD
They hadn’t managed to narrow down the list of names a whole lot; they still had a least a hundred names in front of them.
The FBI agents along with Doherty and Lent sat around the table in the meeting room with the piles of names and photographs littered across the surface in front of them.
‘There must be another way to narrow this down.’ Morgan ran his hand over his close shaven head, his tattooed bicep flexing as he did so.
‘Let’s go over this again, we must be missing the something.’ Hotch agreed.
‘How did your officers find his location last year, when they found the woman alive?’ Reid spoke up, looking between the two detectives. The look Doherty gave Lent wasn’t lost on him. He frowned a little as he watched them, it was like they were silently communicating with one another. Now wasn’t the time for him to bring it up though.
‘Harrison?’ Lent looked back at Reid.
‘Yeah.’ Reid leant on the table.
‘Cops were called out to a nearby building for a drug raid. Meth lab.’ Lennox began. ‘When they were clearing out the suspect’s one of the cops that didn’t make it, Ludwig, she noticed blood in the alleyway between the meth lab and another building.’
‘Quite a lot of blood.’ Lent added. The agents listened in silence.
‘They hadn’t noted any of the guys they’d arrested had been bleeding so they decided to check out the building next door. It was locked but there was more blood on the door so they kicked it down. They found the basement and that’s where they found the victim and the unsub.’ Lennox finished.
 ‘And he started shooting?’
‘Immediately.’ Doherty nodded. ‘He killed the three cops and injured another four. Somewhere in the gun fire he got away.’
‘What did you find out about the building?’ Prentiss asked the detectives.
‘It had been rented out on a rolling monthly basis for some time to someone called Jerry Maltsoma. It was an alias, it didn’t lead anywhere. We put a flag on the name so that he ever tried to rent another property under that name we’d be alerted but so far he hasn’t. He’s too smart.’ Lent sighed.
‘What kind of building was it?’ Hotch raised an eyebrow.
‘See for yourself.’ Lent got up and raised one of the boxes until he found the file he was looking for and slid it across the table to Hotch.
It was an old brick structure with its windows boarded it up. It was larger than a house but smaller than a warehouse. It looked as though it had seen better days.
‘It was a small meat packing plant years ago. It’s been abandoned since the unsub left. I can take you there if you like, I don’t think it’s changed.’ Lennox offered.
‘Good idea. Reid, Prentiss, Rossi go with Detective Doherty.’ Hotch instructed.
Reid, Prentiss, Rossi and Doherty stood from the table. Lent did also. Reid saw him tap Doherty on the shoulder and pull her to one side. They spoke so quietly he couldn’t hear them.
‘Are you sure this is a good idea? I can go.’ Lent whispered to her.
‘Its fine Matt, I can handle it.’
‘You don’t have to put on a brave face for me Len. We’re friends right? Don’t lie to me.’
Reid saw her place her hand on his shoulder and give him a soft smile before she whispered to him again.
‘Thanks Matt, I appreciate it. But I’ve got this.’ She forced a smile and turned back to the agents.
‘Right, ready to go?’ She asked them but she didn’t wait for an answer as she was already heading to the door.
——————————
Bedford-Stuyvesant, New York - The Butchers Former Hideout
Lennox led the way to the side of the building when they pulled up in the dilapidated looking neighbourhood.
‘This is where they first saw the blood.’ She pointed to a patch on the floor. ‘So they came around here.’ She led them back around to the front of the building to a metal door. There was an imprint on the door from where the cops had kicked it open.
She pushed open the door and took a deep breath. She never thought she’d come back here, despite her nightmares making her feel as though she was back here every night.
She switched on her flashlight as did the agents as they followed her inside. She led them silently down three flights of stairs until they reached the basement.
Reid was behind her and he was sure he could see the hairs on the back of her neck standing up. This place was pretty creepy but he felt like it was more than that.
They reached the bottom of the stairs and she led them along a long, damp corridor until she pushed open another door. She switched off her flashlight and flicked the light switch. The fluorescent strip lights hummed as they sprung to life.
The agents blinked a few times to adjust to the light although it wasn’t all that bright, but it was a lot more so than their flashlights.
The room was large and sparse with a leaking pipe in the corner. It had high ceilings and bare walls. Lennox turned to look at them. Reid saw something in her eyes he hadn’t seen before, fear maybe? He wondered if Emily or Rossi had seen it too.
‘Everything we found down here was taken into evidence but I have images on my phone of how it looked when the cops raided.’
‘You weren’t in on the raid?’ Emily asked, pocketing her flashlight.
‘No, like I said before the cops were originally in the area to bust a drug den, I work homicide.’ She was looking down at her phone. Reid knew that was because she was lying. ‘Here we go.’ She came closer to the agents so they could see her phone.
‘Right here was a large metal table that held his torture implements.’ She showed them the first photo before flicking to another. ‘There was a large chair here that the girls were tied to while he hurt them. There was a large blood pool under the chair too. Apart from that the room was mostly as it is. Bare. There was some soundproof mats lining the walls and ceiling but way down here I don’t think it was necessary. No one was going to hear them scream.’
‘There’s been overlap in some of his victims, correct? How does he keep them all compliant?’ Rossi frowned.
‘Follow me.’ Lennox put her phone away and walked passed them towards the door. They all flicked their flashlights back on as they followed her further down the corridor.
At the end of the long, dark hallway was three small holes in the wall, two on the left and one on the right. They couldn’t have been higher than three foot or wider than two. Each hole was covered by a Plexiglas door with a padlock holding it shut.
‘Soundproof.’ Lennox knocked on one of the glass doors. ‘So the girls could see each other but not speak to each other. Presumably.’ She shrugged and walked back passed them down the corridor. Emily and Rossi looked each other, then they looked at Reid. They’d all noticed the way she’d been acting slightly on edge, they were trained to notice these things.
‘Do you think there’s something she’s not telling us?’ Emily whispered.
‘I think she’s definitely hiding something.’ Rossi spike in equally as hushed tones.
Reid kept quiet. He was pretty sure he knew what she was hiding but he didn’t want to say as much in front of his colleagues.
He’d figured out Lennox’s story. He just wasn’t sure if she’d open up to him about it.

BTS Reaction To All Having A Crush On You [but you talk to Jin the most]
Requested: ‘Can i get a reaction to you being best friends with bts and all of them having a crush on you but you talk to jin the most because you trust him the most’
Here we are! If you like this, then please anticipate a series I’m beginning to write based on the Skool Luv Affair concept where they all fall for the same girl!
A slight different layout this time: members are in a different order to create a chronological story, and I split it into 2 parts for their reaction to having a crush on you and then a group chat imagine for their reaction to you talking to Jin the most.
BTS Scenario: Reaction To Having A Crush On You
Rap Monster
He is the one that introduced you to his friends after meeting him through school and when you both graduated, he didn’t want you out of his life. You met Seokjin first, followed by the sunshine line, followed by the golden maknae, and finally Min Swag.
You regularly text Namjoon on a daily basis, and there’s nothing abnormal about that. However, once Namjoon realizes he’s starting to love everything about you in more than just a friends way, he starts being a complete dork over texts, using any lame reason to message you. Expect a lot of random ‘philosophical’ questions and ‘shower thoughts’ at random intervals in the day on top of your usual exchanged pleasantries. Oh, and he’s purposely stupid, unafraid to sacrifice his intelligent persona, just to make you smile.
He likes to highlight that you’ve known each other for longer and when his other friends begin to come into the picture, he gets extra friendly towards you, claiming that he’s making sure he keeps his spot as your best friend, but really he just wants to shower you with love and hopes that your new connections with his friends don’t interfere too much with his chase for you. Seokjin in particular he feels to be a ‘threat’ because he’s noticed you speak with him just as comfortably.
So if you have already made plans with one of the other guys that evening he asks if you wanna go catch a movie together, expect him to pull that best friend card.
Tumblr media
Jin
The moment Seokjin’s eyes met yours when you walked in the room with Namjoon, he knew there was something special about you. He saw kindness in your eyes and the fact that you were already friends with Namjoon spoke for itself.
It was only supposed to be a brief drop in to the coffee shop but the two of you clicked instantly, chatting for hours already as though you already knew each other in a previous life or something. You felt you could open up to him and he was so flattered that he gave you his number because he wanted to continue being that friend that exchanges and listens to problems.
Seokjin’s crush comes quite soon, finding himself smile at the very first text messages that go between you. He wants to meet you separately, without Namjoon, but he gets worried that he’d be coming on too strong. However, he decides to let time take its course and checks in on you regularly to gain your trust and also an insight on your feelings, whether there is potential for something more than friendship there.
He does at first have his guard up, constantly worried that something he has said comes on too strong or weird, but then becomes less shy of complimenting you and inviting you out just because.
Tumblr media
J-Hope
Love at first sight. But he plays it cool. After some school reunion thing you attend with Namjoon, your old school chums propose you come out for the night with them. As with any typical night out really, the school mates introduce you to their other friends, then some of the school mates who you arrived with disappear, so you end up talking to the new friends and then meeting their friends, and so it goes on...
By the middle of the night, the group now consists of still you and Namjoon, but now with Hoseok, one of your friend’s friends, plus Jimin and Taehyung who are Hoseok’s friends. The drinks are coming in quick and fast and it seems to be having a different effect on everyone, splitting the group slightly. Namjoon and Jimin want to just relax and chill in a booth at the back of the club, but yourself, Hoseok and Taehyung just wanna be out there dancing at the front. So you all agree to return to each other in a while.
Unsure whether he can call it a crush so soon, Hoseok just simply makes sure to do things that are memorable to have him going through your mind, see what happens... “Hey guys, how about we sneak in another round without them, on me?” Though he pays for Taehyung’s drink too, he’s still paid for yours so hopefully that gives you the impression that he’s a nice guy. But also like Jin, he also doesn’t want to seem too forward so he passes on asking for a number.
However, somewhere down the line, when you even become a part of his friendship group, he figures this crush will just eat him up if he doesn’t at least know how you feel, so he decides he’s going to arrange to meet, just the two of you and speak up.
Tumblr media
V
Taehyung loves making new friends, so that night out at the club was just another opportunity to socialize more, not seeing you as a potential romantic interest at first. Everyone he meets is first and fore-mostly his friend, and only time and talking can tell whether that person becomes a bigger part of his life or not.
It’s thanks to Taehyung that the 5 of you begin to meet more regularly, with you bringing Jin into this little group also. A group of 6 works out great, especially for Taehyung when it comes to paired activities such as gaming at the arcade or getting sets at the movies. Since Jin is still a little new to the group, he tends to pair off with either you or Namjoon, so when it’s Namjoon that Jin pairs up with, Taehyung is ecstatic on the inside because he’s usually your second option with Hoseok keeping it cool and laid back in the background and Jimin being too shy to say he wants to sit next to you on the bus or play 1 v 1 on that racing game while you wait for the movie to begin...
But that’s how Taehyung knows he might like you as more than a friend, because of how happy he gets when you pick him for something or he gets to sit next to you.
Taehyung feels comfortable enough around you to just grab hold of your hand like “Y/n goes with me!” and doesn’t allow his crush on you to hold him back from skinship with you (there was even that one time you dropped round with his favourite smoothie and kissed you on the cheek, holding your face like “mwah! you’re the best y/n!”)
It’s unhealthy to keep feelings concealed, so when he realizes his crush, (and this happens in a similar way to Namjoon’s crush emerging; from his own reactions to your messages,) he has to tell his friend and ask for advice. You make his heart flutter, and he wants to do his best to get it right.
Tumblr media
Jimin
When Taehyung tells Jimin his feelings for you, Jimin feels his heart sink. As if he wasn’t worried enough already that he isn’t good enough for you, his amazing best friend has to catch feelings for you too... If he were to confess directly, there is a huge fear of rejection, so he wants to keep quiet about it... but Taehyung knows better from the reaction on Jimin’s face when he tells him about his feelings for you.
Taehyung, being the awesome friend that he is though, as a result of his conversation with Jimin, decides to also keep quiet also. Though this should be a relief, there still comes that idea in Jimin’s mind that you could just fall for Taehyung, or even Hoseok or Namjoon... he focuses too much on the good qualities in his friends, rather than focusing upon and appreciating his own good points.
Tumblr media
Jungkook
Jungkook is one of those friends that you can’t quite remember how and when you met, but he’s there sometimes when you meet up with some of the younger guys, and he happens to work at the same place as Namjoon. As his birthday draws closer, he suggests a bunch of you should go out for a meal on his birthday, but it’s just an excuse to definitely see you again because you make his heart flutter.
To him, at first, you were also just someone who happened to be there when he met up with some of his friends, and sure, he couldn’t deny that he thought you were pretty and that did make him shy around you, but he just acknowledges that he’s always been this way around a pretty girl [any girl]. But he knows deep down it’s a little more complicated, hence him making the most out of his birthday and suggesting you all celebrate together.
No one actually suspects Jungkook’s crush for you because his sunshine friends who have known him longer just think it’s typical Jungkook being a little shy around a girl, regardless of who she is. But as the group get tighter and as Jungkook feels more comfortable to make jokes and banter about different things... it becomes a bit more obvious.
“Hey, guys, wouldn’t it be funny to see which one of us y/n would date?”
“Jeongguk... you don’t perhaps like y/n do you?... Like, like like...?...”
Tumblr media
Suga
As the last one to meet you, it’s very casual since everyone else is around, with a simple ‘hey’ and a wave as yourself, Namjoon and Seokjin arrive at his house one day. Yoongi needed help with some music he’s working on and Namjoon had double booked, so Yoongi simply left an invite open for yourself and Seokjin too.
You and Seokjin keep occupied with the TV (which you aren’t really watching because the conversation is strong as ever,) as Namjoon and Yoongi get to work at the back of the room, and it gets quite late so Yoongi offers to order food in and you get talking, and that leads to inviting Yoongi to Jungkook’s birthday do.
The day before the celebrations, Yoongi is just chilling at home trying to write, trying to think of source of inspiration, and he just finds himself thinking about you... “Wait, do I... perhaps like this girl?” The crush is somewhat sudden and following this, his actions are subconsciously focused on you so you think he’s a cool mysterious guy.

BTS Chat Imagine: Reaction To You Talking To Jin The Most
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jimin
Jimin always suspected your soft spot for Jin, so it was no surprise to him when he read your message that you trust him more. He wonders what it would have been like for him, if only he was less shy around you the first few times you met, could he have been the one you gained the most trust in?
He wishes he had more fight in him about this, but his lack of confidence hinders him from wanting to keep trying, though you didn’t actually answer the dating question... Also, his suspicions that it might be more than he and Tae who have a crush on you are confirmed when Jeongguk and Hoseok act a certain way in both this chat and a conversation from earlier, so by continuing this chase for you, is he being a bad friend to more than one of his friends?
Either way, he becomes more and more certain that it’s Seokjin you would most likely date, despite you not answering Taehyung’s dating question.
Tumblr media
J-Hope
Hoseok didn’t exactly want to continue talking in the group chat after seeing all this talk about your trust in Seokjin and how you seem to even trust him more than Namjoon. He needed some time to mull this over before meeting up with you tomorrow, because he had now only just gathered the courage to start to do something more about his crush on you.
But it’s only a minor setback he figures before he goes to sleep that night; after all, you never actually directly answered that dating question, so it’s not like it’s completely off the cards... Perhaps there is no need to become so jealous about you friendship with Seokjin.
“Well, I’m definitely not gonna get her if I give up; I have to do this still”
Suga
In quite a contrast to J-Hope, Suga was still trying to play it cool after all this time, still not intending to be that obvious about having a thing for you. On the surface, it may seem like he’s just out to embarrass Jeongguk, but since hearing about Jeongguk’s crush on you earlier, Yoongi decided he might bring it up in front of you[ish -- since you weren’t online at the time], hopefully eliminating the possibility that you might date Jeongguk.
See, rather than confessing himself, or trying to find out if you like him as more than a friend, he first tries to cast out the idea that you might be into one of the others. Jeongguk, he guesses, was an easy first target because of his shyness. Although he’d never admit it out loud, he does see all the good qualities in his friends and somewhere in the back of his mind, he is making comparisons between them and himself. So not only is Seokjin a threat to his crush on you, but the other boys equally are a threat.
But if he can take out certain possibilities, it makes the lead up to any confession, should it ever take place, much easier on the mind. But he knows that the trickiest elimination of all the possibilities will be the idea that you could have romantic feelings for Seokjin.
Tumblr media
V
Taehyung can sometimes get much more jealous than he will let on, always maintaining his sunshine kid appearance. This chat is the most openly jealous he gets, and it’s caused by your closeness with Seokjin.
He wishes he could be your closest friend like Seokjin seems to be. Heck, he’d even take Namjoon’s place... But he’s sort of optimistic about the crush because he could just see it this way; yours and Seokjin’s friendship just so happens to be a boy/girl pairing... That doesn’t actually mean you would definitely have romantic feelings about the guy; many friends are the opposite gender and nothing like that ever happens.
Now, if only there wasn’t the possibility that some of the others might also have a crush on you... He’d confess to you in a flash had he not figured out Jimin’s crush on you also. He’s in a real pickle, especially since you never answered his question... He just had to ask because maybe if he knew which of them you’d rather date, it might just give him some sort of clue on what to do about this crush.
“If I tell her, I might hurt my friend, but if I don’t tell her, it’s gonna hurt me”
Tumblr media
Rap Monster
It hurts him a little, but he’s just never going to let down that wall he’s built himself. He supposes he will always be that best friend in love that never gets the girl... Even if you don’t have romantic feelings for Seokjin, he thinks it might only be a matter of time, especially since this friend of his has gained so much of your trust and seems to have a great significance in your life.
The one thing he is sure of though is that he will always be there for you, no matter how much something you do might hurt him inside.
Tumblr media
Jungkook
Although he’s getting quite flustered and embarrassed in the group chat, he secretly hopes you will call him out on this supposed crush, too shy to ever say anything himself.
He doesn’t mind as much as the others than you talk to Seokjin the most, but it does briefly make him wonder if age could be a strong factor in this, if you were to answer the dating question; Seokjin-hyung is a sophisticated adult who can be open about his thoughts, whereas Jeongguk, he keeps it all bottled in and barely knows how to act around a girl he has a crush on.
Not entirely dissimilar to a teenager, he imagines this is just going to be some sort of unrequited love that never actually rises to the surface.
Tumblr media
Jin
He loves the fact that you find his bad jokes hilarious, proud that sentences he forms in the spur of the moment have such a lasting effect on you.
He never quite realized that you speak to him more in comparison to the others, and he gets quite giddy at the idea once the other boys bring this up in the chat. He ceases to worry that his actions could be seen as coming on too strong, finally realizing the possibility that there could be something more than friendship here.
Tumblr media
I could have cried when the tab shut off in the middle of writing... Fortunately I copied some over but it shut before I could move the newest version of the post ugh.
I would have split this into 2 posts, but I’d have no idea how to put it in my masterlist whilst showing the 2 are linked... plus this is scheduled, so it might not have been apparent that the two posts were linked.
Later: Text Imagine -- Jungkook + Sunshine Line
