I hop around events a lot with my writing— sometimes the boys are really little kids, sometimes they’re older, sometimes they aren’t even born yet... it can be complicated haha. I usually have something of an idea of how old they are when writing something though (if you give me a IAU fic I’ve written I can probably tell you how old everyone is in it. Yes I’ve thought about these things way too much lol).

But! Their ages as of when the movie would happen are as follows:

In most LU posts and fics I come across,

Why is Legend sour and grouchy? Like he’s sarcastic and curses a lot. He seems hot headed and annoyed?

I’m just curious because I’ve played Link to the Past, the oracle games, and Links Awakening.; and he wasn’t like that…?

I thought he was very sweet. Especially when going through Link’s Awakening. He seems like a guy that’s been through a lot and I’d think he’d be one of the most humble?

I’ve seen some back and forth over whether Warriors or Hyrule would be the group medic/healer and while I understand the arguments on each side, realistically I think all the links would be medically adept, but that’s not what I’m here to talk about

I think a funnier take would be that both Hyrule and Wars are both good healers, but Hyrule is good in the medieval witch kind of way with poultices, magic, and natural remedies while Wars is good in the American Civil War way

And this is funnier with the assumption that the others in the chain come from more medically advanced eras but never retained medical knowledge or skill

example: Wild gets a really bad infected bite and goes to Hyrule who starts rubbing dirt into it so he switches and tries to go to Wars who immediately is like: 😬 we might have to amputate. And he’s dead serious. Poor Wild is like: “I’m not a doctor but i know this can’t be right 😭”

Wars and Wild as knights in Lu

They have issues.

I have a lot of thoughts on Wild and Wars and their relationship (Order of this post is talking about saluting, Wild and Wars' different perspectives, memory issues, and fire) Rant time.

No saluting!!

So Wild took a formal- almost/awkwardly saluting pose when Wars confronted him in 'Entrance pt.2'

It's similar to the first time Wild addressed Wars as 'captain'. His left hand is up from where a salute should be, and his overall posture is awkward, with his shoulders and right hand raised, but it's clear he's trying to do a salute in the presence of a fellow knight.

In the second example his hand is behind his head, but his posture is very straight and his right arm stiff- he's again attempting a formal saluting position. Which is still awkward

It is less clear but his changes in posture clued me in. He goes from like a deer in the headlights to visibly sweating to straight backed and looking up at Wars- looking at the changes in his body language

Side note but I literally love how Jojo draws the champions tunic so much-

We can't see the action of Wild's body language in a comic, just the positions he went to. But he visibly leaned away from Wars before switching to a straight backed saluting-like posture. He's clearly freaked out, hence Twilight's face: >:(

I think that Wild taking somewhat military poses around Wars is important to their relationship issues because it comes from his struggle with memory and identity

I adore Wars. He is baby and I love him. I think it is also important to acknowledge that he would not speak to any of the others this way.

Why is Wars talking to Wild like this? He's called him out and reprimanded him multiple times in front of the others. Wild has taken it well but tbh if it was Legend I think he would be on fire.

To some extent I think he is in captain mode. I think that he has trouble seeing Wild as not a knight. Wars gives Wild respect as a knight who sacrificed for his kingdom, but now it seems he's taking it away as a knight who's not doing well enough since he 'disregarded the plan'

At least I think that's the outside (or Wild's) view of it. But Wars internally really cares about Wild and he saw him run up to a giant and lose it. Different ways of showing concern perhaps?

Who wouldn't want to keep Wild from getting more scars?

I just. Don't doubt for a second Wars really cares about Wild- even if the way he's acting still isn't cool. He has no right to treat him like a soldier any more than the rest of the chain, and right now I think Wild is acting as the more mature person.

Wild

I adore Wild. He is baby and I love him. I think it is also important to acknowledge that although he is clearly making efforts after Twilight's injury, Wild has ignored Wars for the majority of Lu, by not speaking to him much, and not thanking or acknowledging Wars when he directly helped him. (Small example being walking with Hyrule not Wars when injured and not directly responding to Wars)

Wars cares about and respects Wild, but it seems Wild wants nothing to do with him, and he's been cold towards Wars for the majority of Lu. To Wild, Wars reminds him of his perceived failure. Which is valid feelings, but still not fair. And I think that ask is talking about these two.

The thing I love about this is each of them are right and wrong in some ways, leading to the tension between them. So fully blaming either of them is not logical

The rest of the chain is just vibing. Except twilight who's mad and wants them to just grow up, but. Heros of courage not wisdom @uniquevoidflowers ;)

Wild's identity and memory issues exacerbate all of this

In Entrance, Twilight is being stressed and defensive, that's ok. What concerns me most is that Twilight has talked with Wild through stuff like this in his rough moments

Wild has tried to be formal several times- he is not very good at it

Wild isn't and can't be 'him'- the same 'perfect' (<actually has crippling anxiety) knight he was before, and Twilight knows this. And I agree with him a bit, I think, that Wars is making things worse in Wild's mind by being that perfect soldier, and seemingly holding Wild to a standard he isn't

Wild's attempts at saluting is symbolic of that- Wars makes him feel like a failure trying to be the person he should be. But Wild shouldn't be anyone but himself.

Anyways. Fire.

Wars and Wild have issues, and I want them to work through all their relationship drama so they can reach their PEAK dynamic, which is obviously this

I mean like. We need these two to be friends

Anyways. Wild is in this constant state of identity crisis, and being around Wars has not been beneficial- neither of them is or has been showing the other the respect they deserve. Not as knights, but as people and brothers. They need a get along shirt.

So why was Legend paired with Hyrule, you ask?

Shouldn’t the two most experienced dungeoneers have each been paired with someone less experienced? Ideally, yes, but Time does explain his logic:

He doesn’t state it very eloquently, but he’s right on the money. Twilight’s near death is still having an effect on everyone in the group, and Legend is far from exempt. His behavior since the group left town shows that Legend is emotionally unstable and therefore a liability.

Now, we all know that our Veteran is prickly around the edges. But he’s “all bark and no bite” - direct quote from Twilight. Despite that, it’s not like he can dish it out but not take it. When he’s the butt of the joke, he’s a bit of a grumpasaurus about it but he’s not that upset. In fact, he’s happy to banter, as we can see here:

But recently, since the group left town? Even when he’s not speaking, he’s got an angry face:

And when he does open his mouth, even Hyrule seems to think his snark is uncalled for:

Though it’s important to note that Hyrule does handle this very tactfully. He knows what makes his predecessor tick. In fact, he’s been a near constant shadow to him since The Twilight Incident.

Speaking of going too far, Legend then goes on to pull a prank during a dangerous situation:

And then turns right back around and hypocritically jumps all over Wild for not taking a dangerous situation seriously:

This time he does not take the correction well. And what would normally be an invitation for banter is refused in favor of sulking.

So, what does this tell us? It’s subtle, but when you look at everything together, it’s evident that Legend is not coping well with recent events. He’s acting impulsively, and a lack of self-restraint can be disastrous in a dungeon.

But what, exactly, is Legend feeling? Well, we know that besides Hyrule, Twilight is the one he seems to respect the most:

And he had a surprisingly good bedside manner with Twilight when he was injured. I’m not gonna point to images for this because it actually spans a good portion of both the Sunset and Dawn arcs and this post would get too bogged down, but examples include: removing his cap when entering the sick room, speaking kindly and encouragingly to Twilight, and spending time with him in a small group setting when he was finally on the mend.

This tells us that not only does Legend respect Twilight, but he’s forged a close bond with him as well. We know that Legend does not let people close to him on principle because of Koholint Trauma, but he seems to have made an exception for a couple teammates.

And what happens shortly after he’s made that exception?

Twilight almost dies.

Legend almost loses someone close to him again.

And he can’t cope.

He feels helpless in this kind of situation. He doesn’t feel in control. He doesn’t know how to fix this and prevent more bad things from happening. He tries to make some sense of what’s going on, but though he acts confident, he’s really not:

And that lack of confidence is extremely difficult for him.

How do his feelings manifest in a stressful situation? By antagonizing people and subconsciously pushing them away.

That, my friends, is what’s going on under the hood. Time’s dealt with enough people in his life to be able to figure this out. Someone who’s emotionally unstable is unpredictable and a liability.

But Legend does have a Safe Person. A person who takes his prickliness in stride. Who’s able to gently correct and/or redirect him without eliciting an argument. A person that Legend doesn’t have to worry about because he’s confident that that person can handle themself. A person that’s going to allow him to focus on the task at hand.

That person is Hyrule.

Time made the right choice.

Super long post; read at your own peril (tl;dr at the end).

But I just had a brilliant possible idea about where Echo (the new Zelda from Echoes of Wisdom) fits in the Wisdomverse, so I’m documenting it in case I decide to use it.

See, merging Echo into Fable would be cool. They seem very similar already (relevant post), and it’s a good option.

Yet there are a few small problems with this. I can get around them, but they’re still something to consider.

Fable’s already in four separate games (Most Zeldas get one game or less). Adding EoW makes a fifth.

Fable is already quite powerful amongst the Zeldas. Adding EoW makes her a bit OP. I’ll have to balance that carefully.

Fable has a planned story arc in the Wisdomverse. This might conflict with EoW (for example, this is why LU decided against adding TotK to Wild)

So while I still think it could be cool to merge Fable and Echo, I’m also looking for other possibilities. I don’t want to introduce a new Zelda between Fable and Dawn unless I have to.

And then I realized:

There is already a canon Zelda between Fable and Dawn.

I’ve literally already introduced her.

I have plans for her that could totally work with what we see in Echoes of Wisdom.

She’s vastly underpowered and could use the abilities from EoW very well

I could totally see myself writing her personality into EoW Zelda— it’s a different take than how I’ve depicted Echo before, but it would work equally well imo

And she’s also the Zelda with the least canon information; the one we know the least about overall— especially since we never meet her in her own time.

Guys, if Fable doesn’t work out, I think it might be awesome to merge Echo with Aurora— Hyrule’s second Zelda.

Imagine this:

Aurora woke up centuries in the future, after the Great Decline. She’s trapped in a vastly different world with Dawn and Hyrule as her only solace. She loves them, but she’s not from here; and she can’t shake the dread that she’s left everything behind: her friends, her realm, her brother, who she still cares about despite everything he did to her— and also, of course, her Link, who she loves, and went on an entire adventure to save.

When she was Echo, she was a hero. But as Aurora, she’s an echo of the past; a mournful ghost of a bygone age

Tl;dr: What if Echoes of Wisdom is the era Aurora came from— and where she desperately longs to return?

So— Echoes of Wisdom seems (so far) to take place around the time of Legend’s era, with enough ambiguity that it could be either before or after Legend’s era of ALttP/Oracles/ALBW/TH.

Currently leaning towards “EoW before Legend” considering the similarities to OoT, but I could very well go with “EoW after Legend,” which would be necessary for the Aurora merge. The Oracle games, after all, have a lot of similarities with OoT in terms of races and characters present (Zoras, the Deku Tree, Zelda’s design, etc), and they come after ALttP, which doesn’t have quite as many. Same thing with FSA, which is canonically after Twilight Princess but obviously resembles Four Swords more, and both Wisdomverse and LU have shifted the timeline to match. So there is precedent for similarities to skip a generation or two, even in canon.

I also doubt EoW is going to include a Prince of Hyrule (the one character we know of from Aurora’s backstory). This is fine, because I’m confident I can come up with a reason the Prince was away during the events of EoW. Perhaps during the events of EoW, the Prince left on a journey of his own and first encountered the Wizard that leads to Aurora’s downfall.

Anyways, these are just tentative plans. We’ll see what happens when the game comes out!

What if most things just bounced off of us as humans, bc the gravity in Hyrule is different than ours, i mean it is a diff planet (kinda?)

or like if we did get hit, it had nowhere near the impact of how it's hit a hylian, like for example: Guardians.

The guardians get possessed/copied into Dark versions after running around Wild's hyrule enough, and so not only is it 10x harder to beat than usual guardians, as its taking nearly half the chain trying to take it down (rather than like 2 usually)

And even better if ur out of the fight bc they still expect u to not be great at it, like ok ur temperature resistent, but thats not helpful in battle-

U get fucking hit by a Guardian Laser Beam, and everyone freezes, the Links fighting the guardian, the Links fighting the misc monsters, Wild mightve even screamed and came running after you-

And you just kinda, sit. Like someone pushed you while u were off balance, and u flopped on the ground, still sitting up even 💀

After the Lion King, you had put on Pirates of the Caribbean and Kung Fu Panda- which probably wasn’t the best idea because now the boys were taking turns punching and kicking each other in an effort to replicate the movie. “We’re going to change the pace a bit.”

“By doing what?” Wind held a pillow threateningly over Sky’s head. The poor boy had fallen asleep a while ago and was dead to the world for all anyone knew. You had no idea how he managed to sleep through the chaos but everybody has a skill.

“We’re going to dance.” You grinned and turned on the video game console. “I’ve been meaning to introduce you to all our music, but there’s too many genres to choose from and you all have way too much energy for this time of night. We’re going to burn it all off.”

Many of the boys had settled down, watching in fascination as you turned on the systems and switched the controls. They all sat up a little straighter when the colors of the game turned on. It took a controlled effort to get them to step away form the screen instead of shoving their faces up to the characters.

You scrolled through aimlessly and picked an easy level to begin with.

“Rancher, Captain?” You asked sweetly. “Can you help move some of the furniture out of the way? I’m going to put multiplayer mode. We can have up to four at a time.”

“Meaning?” Wild chipped in, helping the other boys push the couch and the tables out of the way.

“Whoever dances the best or most like the person on the screen, wins.” You say gleefully. And maybe just a tad hint of evil.

These boys were competitive. You were to see them at each other's throats… metaphorically. …Mostly.

After giving a few more orders to clear the space, you stepped aside and  selected the song. With a gleam in your eyes, you pointed at Wind, Wild and Hyrule. “You three versus me. Come on.”

Wind jumped front and center without hesitation, Hyrule walking forward with a curious tilt to his head. Wild was the only one who was hesitant to step up to the “platform”, so to speak. It made you calm down a little bit and smile softly. “Relax. It’s not magic. Everything you see will stay there. Just like the stories I put on earlier.”

“Do we even get an example?” Hyrule tilts his head.

“What do you think you are?” You giggle and start the song.

At once the lights flashed and the music started. Having already played this song a number of times, you knew the beats by heart and continued the routine without missing a strike or a pause. The other boys… were less coordinated. …But that’s you being generous.

You think Wind might have smacked Warrior by accident at some point in the attempt to do the moves, but you blame the Captain. He shouldn’t have been that close then.

You win the round. Perfect score. 100%, unsurprisingly.

“I want to go again.” Wild growls. “That’s not fair. You didn’t explain what we were supposed to do properly.”

“I’m next.” Legend raised his hand. “I actually did a dance battle before.”

“No. That means you wait.” Four shoved him playfully. “Give the rest of us a chance to make a fool out of ourselves before you dominate.

You laugh and turn to Time. “Do you want to try, Old Man?”

He grins before shaking his head. “These old bones of mine aren’t as spry as they used to be. I’m content to watch.”

“If you say so.” You shrug, already thinking of ways to wear him down just so he could dance to at least one song.

You step out so that other boys can step in and have a turn. Warrior, Four, Wild and Twilight take the next round. You tried to find another easy song that they would be able to follow without much difficulty, but here is where their competitiveness came through.

Wild tried to trip up Warrior. Twilight pulled on Wild’s hair. Warrior ‘nudged’ Twilight straight into the couch and Four won the round by blaming the hits that he dealt straight onto the other boys.

In an effort to save your house from burning down prematurely, you switched them all out and danced the next round with Wind, Legend and Hyrule.

No one wanted to wake up Sky.

You picked a harder song, if only to trip up Legend. But you should have known better. Not only did he already admit to doing a dance battle before, he already had two rounds to watch and observe what not to do and what to do to get points.

He would have almost won if you didn’t know about the bonus points for hitting the striking pose on the right beat.

“WHAT!!” He screamed. “How did you get double the points!?!?”

“You have to hit it with enough passion.” You teased and kept dancing.

It was the needed points for you to win the round, but goodness, did he give you a run for your money.

Switching out again, you began to work and tease and wear down Time to get him to dance.

It didn’t work.

Within the hour the boys started to fall asleep one by one. The others with the energy to do so helped move them to a bed roll and away from the dance floor so they wouldn’t be trampled on once the wrestling started. Because wrestling would start. That was not an if, but a when.

Time actually went down after Twilight did. Between those two and Sky, the other boys were way more hyped and loaded with sugar that they still needed to work off.

You played for three hours.

The only one that lasted the longest was Four and even then, you were willing to bet he could have kept going if you weren’t ready to fall over and pass out yourself. You groaned and turned off your console. “I’m going to pay tomorrow.”

“Why?”

“I haven’t moved like that in a long time.” You steal the couch and throw your legs over Sky. You’d doubt he’d mind. “I moved muscles that hadn't been moved since I was last home… I can feel them yelling at me.”

Four chuckled and also got down to take the lounge chair. You envied him. He was small enough to sleep comfortably there. “You won most of the matches. I’ve never seen you swing your arms around with such reckless abandon.”

“This is my house.” You grumble. “I had to defend my title and my territory… Besides, you’re all just as, if not, more competitive than I am. There was no way any of you were going to go easy on me.”

“Fair enough.”

“Good night, Link.” You smile, allowing your guard to fall for the first time in months and finally get some needed rest.

“Good night.”

I love to think about the songs Link hums while cooking in Tears of the Kingdom, because if you think about it in connection to Linked Universe, there are two ways to do it, and either way is great:

Wild knows all the songs subconsciously, from the reincarnation or whatnot, and freak out the others by just absentmindedly humming a song from their past (like Legend for example, imagine his shock if Wild suddenly started humming Marin’s song??? the angst potential, or Time with Saria’s song, the possibilities are endless)

OR!!!! Wild learned all of these songs while traveling with the Chain before TotK, and he’s humming them to himself while cooking because he misses his family and it makes him feel happy and reminds him of them and aarghhh the feels🥹

who among the LU cast knows the most magic? who uses it the most? who WOULD use it for everything regardless of if there's a better option available?

who would look the others in the eye and suggest a fireball to fix an untied shoe? use magic for cooking without lighting the campfire, it's fine. it's fiiiiine.

I know most people would say Legend. I disagree.

In my playthrough of ALTTP and Link's awakening, I mostly used the sword. In ALBTW, other than the needed magic to progress, meh... I tend to use the sword if there's the option instead of spells in general. Where did I spam it? Ocarina of Time (Din's fire), for example.

Wild doesn't use magic precisely, tho he totally would offer a fire sword just to boil some water.

But even tho I've seen a lot of takes with a certain Link as the healer, a nice chill guy mostly in fics or fanart, dare I say it...

HYRULE.

Look at him. Look at him and tell me he wouldn't. I mean, Time too, but Hyrule is right there.

Wild (Linked Universe) x Reader (Urbosa's kid) (Can be read as Platonic or Romantic)

Reader uses They/Them pronouns Words: 1830 1 year passed between BOTW and TOTK, in the oneshot TOTK lasted 2 years.

Reader took Link's place because he was whisked away by Hylia to go with the Chain. This is pure angst by the way and a bit to much Wild focused.

Wild was happy at the sight of the Great Plateau. It had been a while since he had been in his Hyrule, more precisely since he joined the chain, so to say he was static at the sight was an understatement, but something felt weird. He could see some things that were the same, but others… he couldn't see the Great Plateau's tower, and he knew it was there before he left, so what had happened in the few months he had been gone?

He shakes his head at that, feeling that something had gone wrong. He looked at the rest of his companions, trying to check if they needed help getting up. He knew that some of them took traveling through the portals harder than others. The most clear example was Legends trying to help Hyrule, who was currently throwing up on the grass. Other members of the chain were also on the floor, but not in a situation as bad as Hyrule's.

"You kay Pup?" Wild jumped a bit, he was so absorbed in drinking the view of his Hyrule that he didn't realize Twilight was standing next to him, it wasn't usual for him to be so not alert. "Yeah, it's just… good to be back home you know?" He relaxed slightly, looking again at the others, most of them were back on their feet, with a few exceptions. (Aka Sky who had decided to curl up on the grass and lay down there, whining about portals being his doom)

"So this is your Hyrule huh? It looks different from the last time we were here" Warriors stood up at the other side of Wild, also looking around.

"Yeah, I'll ask Flora once we see her. I'm hoping she is in Hateno right now," he said grimly, having a bad feeling about something but not knowing how to express it.

It was right there that Time decided to call for a group meeting now that most of them were back on their feet or at least feeling a bit better (minus Sky). They had to check their provisions just in case, deciding that once they got to the nearest town, they would replenish whatever supplies they lacked, probably ask Flora about what happened, and probably apologize to her and Y/N for disappearing so suddenly.

And OH! Y/N, he hadn't thought about his friend in a while, with all the traveling of the other heroes he seemed to forget about Urbosa's kid being Princess Zelda's "knight" (they appointed themselves). They were going to kill him. He was sure of that, he had been whisked away just a week before they were ready to explore the secret passage that he and Y/N had found while looting the castle. They didn't go in but they checked the entrance, let's just say they weren't thrilled by how destroyed it looked and the princess's insistence on checking it out.

He just shakes his head again, taking out his Sheika slate and opening the map, having to stop a gasp from coming out of his mouth, most of the shrines and towers had disappeared, the only ones left being the ones he had to go through during the champion's trials and the Divine Beast's, but everything else was gone, making a pit starting to form on his stomach.

"Something wrong Wild?" He could feel the stares of the others on him, they probably noticed the fact that he had tensed up so suddenly, but he didn't want to worry the others.

"Don't worry about it, but we should start heading to Hateno, it's gonna take us a few days to get there but it's gonna be worth it" He sounded a bit stressed while saying that, leaving no room for arguments. ----------------------

He could feel the stares of the other's on him. He felt a wave of panic once they arrived at the entrance to Hateno Village, it was in the middle of the day so he had felt good about beign back home for a second, but then saw the entrance covered in fungus. He felt like he was having a fever dream, most probably caused by Hyrule's attempt at making breakfast earlier in the day.

He felt weird once he was all over the other side of the bridge that led towards the house, he could see some things had changed (since when was there a swing in the tree that was near the porch, and why could he see a dog house near the stable? Once he was near the door, he could hear noise from the inside, but also noise from his companionships. Mostly Wind was amazed at how the house looked and Legend mockingly said that he thought he was homeless because of how he acted most of the time.

He then took a deep breath and opened the door, quickly noticing the mess around the house, different types of Sheika technology scattered everywhere, he could also hear a small discussion coming from behind one of the piles of technology, quickly recognizing who one of the voices belonged to. "...nd I told you already Purah, It was probably just a malfunction from your tracker, there is no way that the slate was shown to be back and active in the Great Plateau and then moving"

"Well Princess, as far as I remember, my tracker has always been successful in its work so shush!"

He then saw two people move from behind the pile,  one being Flora (when had her hair gotten so short, and those white tear marks on her cheeks?) and the other one an older woman, she had white hair and a red bandana that was covered by most of her hair, she didn't remember meeting her but he recognized her, even when she wasn't the child as he remembered anymore, it was Purah. He saw the way Flora's eyes widened when they landed on him, and how she stopped ranting about whatever she was talking about with the scientist, making the other woman also look at him, her mouth opening and letting out a very surprised (or exited?) scream at the sight. ---------------------- He was currently sitting around the table with Flora, Purah, Time, Warriors, and Twilight. The other boys were looking around the house, being careful not to touch anything. He could see the Smith being fascinated by the weapons that hung on the walls, the Vet and the Traveler were looking around somewhere in the garden he thought, the princess had told them that she had recently started a flower garden so they went to see it. Meanwhile, the Sailor and Sky were somewhere around, he didn't remember where. "Where have you-?" Flora was about to ask him a question when the door slammed open, a tall figure entering the room. He could recognize it everywhere, dark tanned skin and a muscular build, a pair of sharp eyes, one sea green a reminder of who their mother was, the other one a different color, clearly passed down by their father, the same could be said about their hair, same color as that man with a few scarlet strikes that were mixed all over it. They were using clothes he remembred clearly, it was a mix between Gerudo Gear and the standar Hylian adventurer set, long pant's with high booths, a Gerudo top with a vest in top of it. One of their hands had a long fingerless glove, multiple earrings in each ear, some imbuded with magic and others where normal, a opal chocker on their neck and a ruby circlet in their head. Their mother's weapons strapped at their back.

"Can I know why the fuck Bolson was screaming like crazy something about Lin-" The question ended up stuck in their throat, most probably because of the sight of so many strangers in the home, and because of the sight of Link. Something he realized was that their right arm looked weird, it was now a dark weird green with grey symbols on it, a gold-like material going around as a jewel, he could see that the symbols expanded up to their clavicle and down their chest, and probably their back too. And their face…. it was full of new scars he hadn't seen, probably all their body had scars like this.

"You should take a seat Y/N" Flora said as calmly as she could her fingers wiggling around each other, giving the taller a look that he could not decipher.

Y/N just nodded her expression becoming unreadable, taking the sit farthest from all of them, not daring to look in their direction, especially at Wild's (why were they evading him). The princess took a deep breath, probably trying to calm down because of the conversation that was coming.

"Where the fuck had you been?" Y/N asked, surprising everyone in the room, especially him since he didn't remember the gerudo liked to curse. Their voice was a mix of sadness and anger in it, with something else lingering that he couldn't recognize.

"I told the Princess that Hylia needed me for a mission for a few mo-"

"Few Months?!?!? YOU WERE GONE 2 YEARS LINK!!! I HAD TO DEAL WITH YOU BEING GONE, EVERYONE ASKING QUESTIONS, AND THEN GANON COMIGN BACK.... And Zel getting taken away, and the sword and my arm, and Hyrule getting all messed up, and the divine beast didn't work anymore" They ended up trailing off, their anger starting to evaporate, leaving only sadness in their tone. Y/N slumped on their seat, looking way more tired than in all the years Wild had known them.

He opened his eyes in surprise at the rant, what did they mean by years, it had only been a few months right, he couldn't, he didn't leave the most important people in his life to go with his past incarnations because of Hylia's will.

"What do you mean Ganon came back?" He stared, noticing how Purah and Flora seemed to evade his gaze, and Y/N wouldn't look up from where they were staring at the floor.

The other present members of the chain were staring at the discussion happening, they could feel the tension in the air, it could be cut like a knife, and they also didn't like a bit of what they were hearing.

"You are telling me that I left you all alone, to deal with him?"

"What do you think happened to my arm"

The room went quiet again, the only sounds being the ones from the boys outside, even the ones that were seeing the weapons were staring at the table now, seeing the one-sided fight happening.

"Just forget it at this point" Y/N ended up letting the tension out of their arms, standing up, walking towards the door, and leaving, slamming the door a bit on their way out.
