W A K E U P O M E N
This place used to be Houston, now it’s something else, something dying. Titans, lords of industry and everything else left are the ones keeping it in a half-life. There’s a rot that runs so deep there’s no saving it anymore, not as it is. There’s salvation and devastation down this path, but you already knew that, Omen. Free the Hue, free yourselves, and free the future - the Titans must fall.
Titanomachy: DREAMS OF THE HUE / Demo Edition is now live, a fully playable version of the full release entering Kickstarter in late Spring of 2025. It contains the full rules, 19 classes, an example Titan and plenty 00's sensibility but-make-it-nightmare art from the incredible Jonatan Anjos and Minerva McJanda.
Built on The Wildsea's mechanical engine, TDotH is a fast and furious queer blitz of a tabletop roleplaying game, shrouded with furious revolutionary anger but cored through with hope for a better future.
Fans of Cyberpunk 2077, Spire, NorCo, Jeff VanderMeer, Neil Stephenson, Metropolis, and the work of Tom Bloom (Kill Six Billion Demons) and Wildbow (Worm, Twig, Pact) will find parallels in the broken world we've built for you to tell incredible stories in.
We hope you join us Omen, there's work to be done.

A track appeared in the beginning of Sea of Stars Demo. Sounds like it's a blend of Wild Arms and Atelier track in it.
Reminds me of certain good times.

Saw your reblog and mate if you got queer visual novel recs I got spare time that needs eating.
If you´ve come for gay furry visual novels, this is certainly a place with recommendations
Assume NSFW, Unfinished, and free unless otherwise specified
Adastra – get kidnapped by handsome space wolf and become involved in political shenanigans. The one that least needs an introduction – COMPLETE!
Astatos – A pair of mages (kind of) lose their home, summon a god and a devil, and help solve various political issues using card game mechanics. The queerness of this one is pretty heavily constrained to subtext, but there’s no doubt that all major characters are hot men in various states of undress – PAID, SFW
Chardonnay Romancia – Innkeeper who hates heroes discovers an amnesiac hero who quickly becomes obsessed with him, among many other subplots. The characters find themselves in many explicit scenarios, often enough against their will – PAID
Deers and Deckards – As a college student, get into a relationship with either your best friend, his dad, or both. Also, at some point the game decides it becomes tired of its light-hearted tone and takes a dip into a more supernatural setting. Currently, only the polygamy route is complete.
Demons Within – You play a demon of lust influencing the emotions of a soldier and those around him, attempting to assist your host while also growing your own power and keeping them ignorant of your existence.
Devil’s Gambit – A doctor reunites with an old friend, uncovering a supernatural mystery and kicking off a strange romance.
Glory Hounds – A young man finds himself with an unexpected employment opportunity: becoming a sidekick to a superhero.
The Human Heart – Wake up as the only human in a familiar world and find yourself adopted by a colorful group of friends – SFW
In Case of Emergency – Find yourself as the last of the chosen ones in gay furry Narnia and awkwardly ingratiate yourself into the longstanding group of heroes – COMPLETE!
Kingsguard – When things go to hell at your royal birthday how will you reclaim your throne from the magical forces trying to take it from you and, more importantly, which of your kingsguard will you fall in love with
Minotaur Hotel – Discover the true story of (and also fall in love with) the Minotaur of legends and turn his crumbling home into a home for the lost. Even among visual novels, this one is a slow burn, but it’s absolutely worth it
My Pirate Husbandos – Get rescued from drowning at sea by a crew of rowdy, and very gay, pirates, and help them until you earn yourself a place among their ranks
Nekojishi – Become forced to face an uncertain future when you suddenly awaken the ability to see spirits and find yourself fought over by three handsome cat men who each want you to become the priest of their shrine (or equivalent) – SFW, COMPLETE!
Orveia – Awaken in an unfamiliar and horny world along with your best friend (who somehow arrived about a decade before you did) and several handsome men to become an adventurer. This game contain heavy RPG mechanics
Pervader – Discover your kindly DILF of an employer is a wizard and get infected with “becomes a wizard” disease along with the heir to an order of knights whose primary goal is to stamp out all magic
Shelter – Become enraptured in a strange world of medieval fantasy dogs, and protect your home in a world that wants to take that away from you
The Smoke Room – Learn to trust again in the wild west in 1915 after a man you though loved you tried to kill you, while the world itself seems to want to drown you in your guilt
Temptation´s Ballad – A young rogue trying to live up to his father, a commoner with an obsession with adventuring, and a sheltered chosen one looking to broaden their horizons form an adventuring party by happenstance and find themselves with a quest far larger than any of them believed

Echo Point Nova: Tribes Ascended
Echo Point Nova may be one of the best cases I've ever seen for people wanting to frag like its 2001. Today's gaming landscape, particularly the independent scene, is thriving with revivals of all sorts of proto-FPS genre shooters. From the singleplayer campaign driven "Boomer Shooter" games like Amid Evil and Zortch to those who long for the multiplayer days of Unreal Tournament with games like Splitgate or the squad tactics of Battlefield 2 with games Battlebit Remastered, these styles are certainly coming back into style. I want to talk about a very particular type of action that was lost long ago in a sea of games and buried revival promises, I want to talk about Tribes.
Releasing originally in 1998 as Starsiege: Tribes the game garnered its own following thanks to its fast paced movement centered approach to Deathmatch and Capture the Flag gameplay. Jetpacks combined with a physics engine bug that let you "ski" around maps a la sliding down slopes and ramping off hills made for incredible fun action packed fights. Three years later in 2001, Tribes 2 debuted making skiing an official form of gameplay, building on the fun of the previous title. The game fell somwhere in between quake arena and unreal tournament, with vehicles, large open maps, a bevy of scifi weaponry, and fast paced action. Though the series would go on all the way to 2012 with the free to play Tribes Ascend by HiRez Studios, the game has since been yet another title in an ever growing pile of "forgotten classics". Until now.
So what IS Echo Point Nova? Stay with me here, EPN (to save some time and typing) is a scifi action shooter where you explore an open world of floating islands with the help of a grappling hook, a hoverboard, and a momentum system that only slows down when you tell it to. EPN is in almost every way, a singleplayer/co-op successor to Tribes. Trading out the scifi weapons for a more modern military arsenal doesn't take away much of the fun. Zipping around and clearing out hordes with a .50 cal sniper rifle is just as fun as a railgun, and blasting mechs with an RPG is just as satisfying as a triple rocket launcher could be. The game WANTS you to feel fast, to feel dangerous, like only the best of the best could stop you. All it's missing is proper PVP, which the developer wants to add support for soon as of the writing of this article. Lets get more specific though.
Level Design:
One half of the puzzle is how EPN's world gives you truly unbridled freedom to explore at breakneck paces. If you thought the vistas and cliffs of breath of the wild being open was impressive, this puts that to shame handily. A massive world of floating island arenas awaits you, all you have to do is get there. As mentioned before the game provides you with a few modes of transit, a grappling hook, your hoverboard, and a set of supplementary equipment like air boost pads and grenades that you can use to gain height very quickly. Movement in the game is nothing short of gorgeous. Fast, fluid, and effortlessly smooth, you can glide and hop your way to just about everywhere.
Let's talk more about the hoverboard, arguably the games most shown off feature. Holding down what would traditionally be a sprint button allows you to speedily glide over any form of terrain the game can throw at you. Grass, snow, sand, lava, all of it. On top of this, touching any flat surface that isn't the ground or a floor with the hoverboard will allow you to grind across and up said surface, gaining you some sweet style points in the process. The game is VERY generous with the grinding, and lets you stay on unless the terrain itself is too uneven to glide over without launching yourself off. Using this you can scale entire mountains and grind circles around the poor enemies of the game, giving them little chance at keeping up with you. Combined with the grappling hook, which allows you to propel yourself in whatever direction you're aiming despite where you grappled on to, you can reach truly dizzying heights and speed with ease. All of this is to say that the game's level design allows for pure freedom of movement. Rarely will you find yourself not jumping or grinding your way around spacious combat arenas laden with half pipe ramps and grind rails. Verticality is KING in Echo Point Nova, and the world knows that. Vast desert expanses, rolling mountaintops, fractured shards of floating rock, its got it all and it is good.
Gameplay:
Though I already went over the gameplay a bit in the last section with the movement and traversal, I'd like to focus a bit more on the core shooting of EPN and just how good it feels to do so. The game gives you access to a decently sized array of pistols, SMGs, assault rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles/DMRs, and explosives to do in the cyborg mercenary armies that oppose you. All of which feel incredible. Perhaps the only negative point I could give is that many weapons can often feel very fast and loose, but the game's projectile system more than makes up for it when allowing you to pepper entire areas with two entire glock magazines. Complimentary to the guns are the perks you earn from doing the game's core combat loop of arriving in an arena and spawning enemies until you've killed the requisite amount for that particular challenge. Perks can range from giving you more ramming speed on your hoverboard (oh yeah you can ram enemies with your hoverboard by the way) to the very first perk you gain, Adrenaline, slowing down time for a few seconds via a refillable meter you gain just for moving at high speeds.
Combat becomes a gravity defying dance of bullets and explosions. Ramping off enemies here, grappling them into them there, throwing out a grenade to pop a shield and riding the explosion shockwave up to the scifi quad-copter that's firing missiles down at you the entire time. Its a beautifully chaotic mess that relies on your mastery of the game's movement to be proficient in. Sure you could just run around Call of Duty style and pop cyborgs in the head, or you could send them into the endless abyss by slapping them with two and a half feet of hoverboard all the while sending a .50 cal round through two of his friends.
It is a joy to experience. The exploration is always rewarding leading you to new challenges that give you either new perks, a new gun, or a fun hat to wear over your character. If you played the dev team's previous game, Severed Steel, you know exactly how high energy and impressive the combat encounters can feel.
Story:
Honestly? It's nothing special. You crash land onto one of the many floating islands, a mysterious voice tells you to get your gear as comrades from whatever scientific group you're a part of tell you to also grab your gear and survey your surroundings. It's VERY loose, and it's perfect that way. The boss fight set pieces don't come bogged down with lengthy cutscenes or anything at all to break the pacing. Voice acting is kept to enemy shoutouts, and everything is told through text logs that you're guided to pretty steadily throughout the game. EPN's story is just what it needs to be and the devs know that. Severed Steel boasted an equally loose but compelling story following the game's protagonist rising up against her scifi imprisoners, and Echo Point Nova is just as short and sweet with its writing. Serviceable, short, and just right.
youtube
Soundtrack:
How could I ever talk about this game without mentioning the positively electrifying soundtrack. Composed by artist Floating Door the OST has a range of action driving Drum and Bass tracks that just make you want to go faster. Ethereal synths combined with strong pulsing bass tracks create an otherworldly feel as you grapple and hoverboard your way around the islands, picking up into heavier more chaotic tracks when enemies are found or an encounter is started. It reminds me so much of the more techno/trance inspired soundtracks of later PS1 and PS2 titles that I can't help but grin and nod my head as I zip around blasting things with an RPG. No notes, 10/10, it fits the game beautifully and is a strong set of tracks to listen to on their own. Give it a listen!
Conclusion and comments:
I got away from myself a little bit in this review, but I'd like to close by doubling back to that Tribes comparison. Does Echo Point Nova have EVERYTHING that tribes had? No. It's missing things like vehicles, structured modes of play, hell even proper PVP matchmaking, but that's not the point. The spirit is what lives on in EPN. That 2000s fast paced techno-shooter with weird movement and momentum. The rush of a movement shooter before that phrase was even considered to exist. I don't think this game is Titanfall+DOOM 2016 like a lot of other reviews like to say. What I WILL compare it to if I must, is Halo, Tribes, and just a hint of classic Call of Duty (think COD 4). It's wonderfully made with a clear amount of love and respect for old school shooters. Refined to a razor edge of fluid mobility and rock solid shooting. I really do think its a big step towards keeping the spirit of old games alive without just remaking them or making things that only exist as tributes to them. If I've gotten anything wrong, and the devs never played anything like Tribes before, then that's fine I've been wrong before and I will be again. But playing this game was like playing a love letter written in voxel landscapes and high speed firefights. One that I'd happily reread over and over, or at least listen to the music.

I updated Dada (https://archiveofourown.org/works/27616831/chapters/67564753), my worm fanfiction that's just a lot of wacky random things happening unless one's got an understanding of Worm, the Worm fandom, random things the author of Worm said on social media, Worm fanart, and fanfics I wrote nearly a decade ago. Should it still be ongoing? Probably not, but I really want to at least write a Slaughterhouse 9 arc. A very silly one. The Slaughterhouse 9 are a bunch of brand new evil blorbos here to shake up Brockton Bay when they arrive in mid Worm. To adjust for this already being a fanfic and the Slaughterhouse 9's presence already being expected, a second and superfluous group of Slaughterhouse 9 members has been added who are effectively posing the same threat to the Slaughterhouse 9 that the Slaughterhouse 9 pose to everyone else: a bunch of weirdos who are weirdly invested in them have arrived from out of town. And in this case out of fic, cos they're all references to one fic or another I've already written. Leading the team is Nice Guy as he appeared in Nice Guy's Amazing Adventures with those Chaps he met from the Slaughterhouse, my first fanfic if you willingly ignore all the worse ones I've written. And Live From Killington, the fan audio drama I made much later. The man wishes he was Jack Slash. Desperately. His showboating is ruined/supported by his ability to be ignored by those around him. The team's pet is a trans rendition of Crawler from #Too_Advanced, a forum quest thing where readers would write in and ask Crawler questions. It wasn't very good but it was pretty fun to do. Big horrible therian. Self proclaimed world's smallest kaiju. Feracity was a fanfic thing I wrote starring a nonbinary version of Night Hag, based off a random headcanon that since her fantastical powered up transformation is just a goth lady, that that's probably still a big change from normal. Night Hag's in DADA like this, albeit a bit more aware of post-Worm matters. And to help confuse matters, there's two versions of Damsel of Distress. One of the two, Ashley, is written like the Damsel from Distress Quest and Audacity, two forum quests I ran that were jokingly dubbed Kittius' play by post RPG by my friend Pita Enignma on account of my friend Kittius having a lot of wicked suggestions and helping form my impression of a much louder and more manic rendition of Damsel of Distress, based on her appearances and the information available before she became a main character in Ward. Ashley's appearance is based off of Creator Crash/Pabel and Nine's rendition of her, while her backstory is an exaggerated rendition of the one fans got to know and love. She's contrasted with her "sister" Daphne, herself inspired by various wild fanfiction versions of the character from so early on post Worm that they didn't even have her secret identity available. While she's from a no powers coffeeshop AU and she runs a small business, her personality hews closer to Ward's version of Damsel of Distress. What is their goal? What sinister plans do they have? Why are two of them shop window dummies? How have they gathered from multiple fanfictions to assail another? Find out in Dada, in amongst a sea of other absurd nonsense clogging the skeleton of a retelling of Worms tale of heroes and villains and escalating dramatic battles to save the world from madness and destruction.

Hello! I’m wondering if you have any recommendations for Animal-themed TTRPGs? Specifically wild animals if possible (jungle, arctic, desert, etc). I have a lot of recommendations for domestic animals and pets! ☺️
Theme: Wild Animals
Hello friend! You are right, there are quite a lot of recommendations out there for cute pet-like animals, but I think I managed to find a nice variety of wild animals. I also have a few longer games to balance out the 1-page rpgs I found.
One Less Lobster in Maine, by Minte.
You’ve made it! You escaped! Freed from your wooden trap you find yourself on the picturesque coasts of Maine. One lobster alone facing the world, on a journey to make your way back to the sea.
This game played with a deck of cards, lets you build your own adventure. Play on your own or with friends this is meant to be a fun lighthearted story building game that is easy to pick up and play. All you need are some cards, maybe some friends, your imagination for your very own crustacean crusade.
This game can be played solo or with a group; it’s basically an oracle that presents you with events and obstacles as your lobster makes their way to the sea.
Emu Uprising, by ashleecraft.
You play an emu trying to defeat the government with the help of your friends in this 1-page TTRPG based on The Great Emu War created for the Historically Accurate Game Jam 2023!
This is hilarious re-enactment of a real-life historical event. You roll a series of times using 2d6 to determine what happens in each round of battle. Your goal is to get more Emu points than Human points. Feel free to add your own embellishments to each moment of battle!
Rise of the Apes, by WuDeRPG.
Rise of the Apes takes the premise of the movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes and lets you play as a group of Apes escaping a laboratory on their quest to reach freedom in the woods.
This is the first game using the RISE system, which divides play into 3-act struggles over which your characters will experience evolutionary moments. I think this game has an interesting opportunity as a teaching tool because players have a chance to get familiar with one part of their character sheet before adding on new pieces. I’m interested to see whether each act could be its own game session; breaking out of the lab as the first act could certainly take up to 2 or 3 hours.
Crabpocalypse, by Z Gosck.
Great news, the apocalypse is here!
but not at the hands of zombies, aliens, or unrelenting capitalism, but rather the meaty claws of giant enemy crabs. And even better news, you’re the fucking crabs!
Become crab, as nature intended, in Crabpocalypse! A game that finally puts you in the carapace of a giant enemy crab, bringing unimaginable death and destruction upon a world that sorely deserves it!
An absolutely ridiculous game, Crabpocalypse requires that players play the entire game with their hands shaped like crab claws, lest they lose a point from their highest crabtribute. The whole game is this silly and over-the-top, right to the end - where you will fight a giant, human-allied crab!
Mortal Wombat, by JoshyLongLegs.
Captured in your infancy by some Australian scientists (unburdened by morals or ethics) you have been turned into a sapient cyborg synapsid, hell-bent on escaping the laboratory you've been kept captive in all these years!
Joined by your own marsupial mob you've got to use your head and your butt to prove yourself the finest Wombatant and make your way to freedom!
Another simple one-page game, Mortal Wombat embraces the cartoonish style of children’s tv shows and gives your wombats some serious chrome upgrades. There appears to be some callbacks to Honey Heist here, so if you’re familiar with that one-pager, this game will probably be pretty easy to pick up and play.
Moose Trip, by Kira Magrann.
You’re a moose living in the human occupied wilds of Montana. You’ve just eaten some of your favorite psychedelic mushrooms with your friends. The streams are cooling, the willows ripe with delicious leaves, and soft orange moss dots granite rocks amid grassy fields. You’re settling into your favorite lush sanctuary here in the wilds for a mind altering and inspiring psychedelic trip.
This game is more of a conversational experience than something with a definable goal. You take turns rolling mushroom feelings, and then ask the group around you the related question. I think this game could also be used as a mini-game inside a larger campaign, regardless of who your characters are - you don’t even really need to be a moose to play.
The Warren, by Bully Pulpit Games.
The Warren is a tabletop role-playing game about intelligent rabbits trying to make the best of a world filled with hazards, predators and, worst of all, other rabbits. It is a game about survival and community.
There are many creatures, humans included, that are bigger, stronger, meaner, or more numerous than rabbits. The seasons and the elements do not care that rabbits are only little things. Rabbits cannot hope to meet these threats head on. Only through speed, wits, and keeping a cool head can rabbits bypass the dangers of the outside world.
The Warren hails from the PbtA family of games, and pulls greatly on rabbit stories such as Watership Down and Peter Rabbit. It comes highly lauded and is known for its ability to combine the idyllic comfort of being a small creature with the tragic horror of being everyone’s favourite prey. If you want a deep game that isn’t afraid to send you to some dark places, I recommend The Warren.
Games I've Recommended in the Past
Capybara Capers, by momatoes.
Jellyfish Felonies, by Penguin King Games.
My Fish Games Post.

Genuinely so excited for Infinity Nikki
I love platformers. It almost feels Kirby-ish w how outfits give us powers, plus we get to dress her up in said cute outfits, And we’re getting subversive storyline (cute aesthetic, underlying horrors)
I started playing nikki games for the dress up but I do rly love how wild the story is. I certainly have my critiques but im still looking forward to it.
Platforming is an interesting way to translate it. With how the outfits granting us special powers plus all the shit Nikki has had to do (fending off terrorists, demons, placating gods, etc) I think it’s a decent way to go about it.
Im partial to dozens-of-hours long RPGs, currently addicted to Baldur’s Gate 3, so I wonder how long it’s going to be (give or take I like multiple hours of Substance not grinding slogs). 30 hours is kind of average, which is my assumption for it, any less and id be a bit put off tbh. Any longer and I’d be excited to see the story unfolding. I wonder how we’ll get clothes or sets, and how many.
We Have to get Star Sea and Bloom Poetry, but I wonder what else we’ll get….
I also wonder when it’s taking place! Is it pre or post love Nikki? Is it during or post shining Nikki? Will we see my dearest husbands Leonid or Shade or will I add a new husband to the roster?

game concept art 2023 - EARTHSHINE - part 1 - characters
This is part 1 of my campaign design project from my concept art course last year, called EARTHSHINE!
I designed all these concepts for a top down space fantasy alien RPG called EARTHSHINE, inspired by Undertale, Deltarune, and Omori. The aesthetics were based on sci fi and retro futurism, pop art, black light photos and arcades, and a spacey aesthetic in the vein of Super Mario Galaxy and Slime Rancher.
In a reverse Solar System populated with aliens, many are racing to claim the empty planet, Earth. But no one seems to be consulting its moon, Luna, who's people adore it as part of their culture.
Dawa, an alien from Luna, is on a quest to claim Earth for their home, meeting new companions Ferni from Mars and Destiny from Mercury along the way.
kofi // instagram // artfight // bluesky
More info about the characters under the cut!! vv
PLAYER CHARACTERS
DAWA - Dawa is a humble farmer living their life with their mother on her lunar grape farm. They're quiet and have a tendency to throw themself into work and hobbies. Because of this they come off as anti-social. Dawa can be blunt and snarky, but they just say what's on their mind and will act on an idea if they're certain of their goal. It’s why they left home to confront the leaders about the planet they orbit, as they feel their home and the locals should also have a say in claiming it. Dawa is an ambush and heavy hitter, using their strong legs and quick movements to immobilise their enemies.
FERNI - Ferni is the owner of the Aresi Cosmic Curio Shop. She's taken up the role of a historian, and her first job is to learn about Earth from the locals on moons and Mars. Ferni is a fountain of energy and incredibly sweet, but she can be an overwhelming presence. It only takes someone slightly mentioning anything Earth related for her to go into a full information dump. Upon hearing about Dawa's quest, she immediately tags along, eager to learn about the Earth's history. She's a little too excited to fight battles, but at least she has the spirit and the heart! She’s good at targeting faraway targets, and earned the role of wild card.
DESTINY - Destiny is currently one of the only small spaceship drivers on Mercury aboard the Wings of Felestian Spaceship. Destiny takes on an older guide role for the team. She's highly sociable due to the nature of her job, but is very comfortable hanging back in the ship alone. She's resourceful and has a habit of proposing new ideas and upgrades for the ship. She plays support over communications for the team, offering advice and updates when she can. Generally a charming, reliable presence.
NPCS
LEADER ACACIA - Leader Acacia, or just Acacia, is the Leader of the Jovian Colonies, a proud and stubborn alien with a penchant for snapping at others. Despite the slightly arrogant demeanour, they are under a lot of stress due to the arguments they have been having with the Captain of Neptune about Earth. Other Aliens have unfairly painted them as cocky, while Jovians mainly see them as just a stressed, if not a little goofy leader, who enjoys a cup of tea in their spare time.
CAPTAIN BERA - Bera, or Captain Bera, has certainly made a name for herself among the solar system. She commands the raging Seas of Neptune aboard her submarine. One thing that makes her a fierce leader, is her competitiveness, which drives the other planets' leaders insane in her sheer confidence over her right to claim Earth. Bera's actions are as bold as her thoughts, yet despite her reputation, she seems to be well respected by the people and her crew.
KEEPER PLASMA - Keeper Plasma is notoriously mysterious. They were a respected figure amongst the Solar System, but nowadays very few know of them. Those who do engage describe a rather bitter and reclusive person. Plasma has been asked what their opinions are on the Earth space race, and it's always been the same answer, "Petty squabbles are none of my business.". They're a keeper of knowledge and history for the Solar System, so there could be information not even the great leaders know of.

TITANOMACHY: Dreams of the Hue | Omens 05 & 06
Art credit to the incredible Jonatan Anjos
Aqua/Marine | background: SALT OF THE EARTH | hustle: TRAUMA TEAMSTER | specialty: CYBOTEUR (L)
RUFUS | background: POSTHUMAN (MARIPOSA) | hustle: HAULER | specialty: CHARIOTEER (R)
Vroom-vroom, Omens, this world won't fell itself.
High-octane action is a centerpiece of TDoth, you are highly empowered individuals setting out to fundamentally change the world - we assume you have the proficiencies to do as such.
Omens move fast, and the Charioteer is the queen of keeping that speed assured. Rufus here has taken control of a truck from the hood using her BlackThumbs augs, plasma leashes giving her control of any vehicle she can get within a whip's length from. As well, her Chuggaway Mag-Boots keep her solidly (and stylishly) affixed to any metal surface.
Behind her, her Friend-in-the-Chair Aqua/Marine furiously types away on her Hardened Cyberdeck, assuring Aqua's safety on the highways they're precariously traveling.
These two are our first glimpses of Omens engaged in a Strike, the core structure of TDoth. Similar to Cyberpunk's Runs, Blades in the Dark's Heists and Wildsea's Voyages, Strikes are distinct missions with an end-goal of weakening a Titan's power one way or another. Many are high-energy, combat filled take-downs, and some are subtle social soirees simmering with explosive tension.
We got plenty more coming, including some devlogs from yours truly! I hope you can join us over on our playtest Discord, where we continuously refine and expand our playtest program to make this the best game it possibly can be.
As always, hope to see in there. We'd love to have you~
-Sillion

HWS SEA but make it HetaDND
Enjoy these rough sketches because I will literally not come back to them until December. 🥲
(From Back —> Front, L —> R)
VN: Bumped into a couple of Quora answers that discussed archery practice, which got me thinking about Viet as a mounted archer, and I immediately thought of the elephants that the Trung sisters & Ba Trieu rode on. So Ranger: Beastmaster — also what if the elephant was from Thai? 🫣💘 Easily a tank through her mount, but can fight well as a DPS (think OW D.Va). ID: The thing is he has the fighting style of a Warlock(: Genie?) but the character of a Paladin(: Oath of the Ancients). He’s giving CR Fjord. 😭💞 For sure, TANK. TH: He’s just a Monk. Debated on his subclass for a long time because he’s a war freak charge-into-the-frontline kind of fighter. Way of Mercy is ironic but I love the imagery of the Merciful Masks (except he gets the khon styles). Way of Shadow — it’s on one possible etymology of Siam (Sanskrit, “dark”). Easily a DPS type. MY: Druid: Circle of the Moon for the Wild Shape into a Tiger, and as of typing this I just realized the moon motif. Mostly support, but upset him just enough and he’ll easily switch gears. PH: Bard: College of Swords for the two-weapon fighting style aka arnis/kali/eskrima. Personally, he’s more DPS than support, though as a latter Dirge Singer & Siday fit the bill. SG: See, the first thing that came to mind was the RO Alchemist class for the Homonculus feature — hence, his companion Fishball. Obviously there’s Artificer: Alchemist for that, but also it would be cool if Fishball is just a “chibi” form of his patron of a water dragon— Warlock: Fathomless. Not to mention Singa would have both high INT and CHA — alas, he’s a Support guy.
(more notes under the cut)
I jokingly called this AU as Dungeons & Drawing Circles, but truth be told I’m not restricting it to being after DND, let alone 5e. Now I’m just throwing hands and calling it a fantasy RPG AU, although out of familiarity, I do refer to DND 5e often. The classes I highlighted above are just there for where I got the inspiration.
I’ve had the occasional “oooh I think [character] would be a [class/es]” hc over the years, but I ended up expanding on the AU as a means of coping with the early months of ECQ. Now there’s so many plot bunnies that I’d summarize as: your og main 8 unwittingly team up for a quest and, over time, they hit a point where they realize that they cannot fight the BBEG alone (or at least just the 8 of them), so they travel around the world recruiting allies a la Suikoden 108 Stars of Destiny.
It’s even got a literal history timeline where preceding events (and characters!!!) are involved with the BBEG and ultimately why the main 8 came together. Think playing a later game in a series where you not only get to meet the playable characters from earlier games, but you get to recruit them.
And I just wanted to draw cool fantasy looks, haha! Nevertheless, nothing is final — especially when I've clearly taken inspiration from some indigenous groups. It's why I shelved this for so long because I need to do more research and it's just not something I have a lot of free time for.

what is everyone’s favorite video game?
Four likes any video game that they can cause chaos in, their favorite being Untitled Goose Game. Acht enjoys rhythm games, having a lot of fun with Sayonara Wild Hearts in particular.
Callie greatly enjoys Animal Crossing because she can make her island look very cute. Elita mostly just hangs out on her island, she doesn’t play many other video games.
Marie greatly enjoys Animal Crossing becasue she likes to annoy the villagers as much as possible. She is ruthless with her net. Shina will try her best to take care of the island while Marie is harassing the residents.
Shiver is super into Sea of Thieves, and she spends the vast majority of her time hunting down megalodons. Birch really likes Cult of the Lamb, and has fun both tending her their cult and killing random people.
Frye really likes Pokemon, and is a god at any Pokemon game put in front of her. Elle will only play platformers, that’s it. She really likes Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
Pearl mostly plays shooter games like Call of Duty, but she’ll also often play multiplayers with Marina. Marina has fun with RPGs, and has a tendency to beat even the longest ones within 24 hours.
Big Man doesn’t play video games often, because fins are hard to operate a controller with, but he does enjoy games where he doesn’t have to be too fast with his inputs, like Ace Attorney. Eight is very into Pikmin, likely as a result of having to manage all the tasks in the Deepsea Metro. Captain is SUPER into Hollow Knight and plays pretty much nothing else.
Neo is a master at Super Smash Bros, and will gladly challenge anyone to a battle.
Thank you for the ask!!! It was hard for me not to say that they all play Splatoon lol
