I love how Dr. Scrabblesnitch asked Miss Danvers to show Jimmy around the school and get his uniform, but once she's out of earshot of the headmaster she just yells at Jimmy for not wearing his uniform and tells him to leave.

Nobody tells Jimmy where the Boys' Dorm is or that he doesn't need to go to the student store yet. He's just expected to figure it out before class starts. What a joke.

Meanwhile, Gary tells Jimmy what to expect (accurately) and shows him important places on campus. Honestly, he did a good job. Probably helped Jimmy more than Danvers would have if she had tried.

for those unaware, imagine a dude who is constantly a damsel in distress, and terrified a lot of the time but still does what he thinks is right. and a girl who is his stoic and staunch protector, very much down to flirt/get physically affectionate, puts the dude's wellbeing above her own, and is a witch who primarily uses fire and bursts into flames (also they were childhood friends but for some reason dude doesn't remember it). also the dude's got his own sorta fire powers and a lot of people are after him, but dw about that :)
