Edit since a lot of people seem confused - your "real" name is the name that you want to be referred to in real life. It doesn't have to be your legal name. So if you're trans and you have a different name to whats on your birth certificate, even if not many people call you by the name, it still counts as your real name.
Edit 2 : Holy shit guys please stop reblogging this post my poor inbox im getting like 20 notifs an hour asjfhkajshdkh /lh /srs

Do not question the logistics of the planetary system :) Also yes, Pluto is a planet TO ME. And I came up w these when I was a lot younger, so don't question them :)
Also idk if this factors into one's choice here, but each planet is ruled by a god(dess.) Maybe I should make a poll about their ruling styles one day lol
I'd say "please reblog" but this is very niche so! But if so, please explain your choice, I'm curious! Or comment
+ examples of some under the cut:
Lol a lot of this is older, don't judge :) And I also don't have ocs from every planet unfortunately </3 hopefully one day!

(these are actually my oldest ocs that I still use, and I had to rework them to fit into my au thus: unwanted. Very important lore tbh.)

Thinking again about how the other day that anon wrote me wondering why Louis was so popular with older adult women and I had a couple ideas but was basically like idk IS he or is it just the same amount as any other pop star but then the other day BBC posted that video of 1D members doing 1D songs* solo without Louis in it and the post was like go comment on all these platforms and I was like what the heck it's not like I use my facebook for much else- but that meant I ended up looking a few times at the other comments (being mad about Louis' exclusion) and like I KNOW it's FB so ofc it's skewed by who uses that... but like damn, there ARE a lot of middle aged and older ladies for Louis! Like A LOT!! So again I am thinking about it and I would love to know what other people think might be the reason... my ideas plus footnote under cut-
~He’s so fucking SMART and the older you get the more appealing and necessary that is to appreciate someone. ~His music has always been in large part 90s style stuff which may draw in folks who already loved that kind of music because they’re old enough to remember it. ~We’re queer and were drawn into this fandom by crying our eyes out over how beautiful baby Harry and Louis were together and wanted to give them the world and protect them (is this age dependent? see below for why maybe I guess but idk) But my top theory is that ~it's based on the combination of him being this beautiful goodhearted boy all the shitty things we saw happening to him for so long and wanting so much to be able to DO SOMETHING, to make things better for him and give him everything. Not saying this is age based but maybe this works more strongly on older folks than on people who feel like they are in the same boat? Anyway would love to hear if other people think 1) there are more older louies than other celeb fandoms/ the other members of 1Ds solo fandoms and 2) if so what do you think it is about Louis? or 3) no, all these things apply to me but I'm only (whatever young age) so that can't be it
*I have since figured out why they did that and it isn't because Louis is blacklisted or whatever it's because they just pulled their footage that they own of 3 of them playing BBC Big Weekend which Louis hasn't done, and footage of Zayn from his public insta, which isn't something they could do for Louis- to include him they would have had to like get footage from his management or something they can't just use whatever off youtube and it was just a silly SM post they weren't gonna do all that

I kinda feel like there's this weird pushback around people asserting their boundaries online sometimes and I don't really know why. if someone says they don't like a single person liking a large amount of their posts in a short time for whatever reason, a dozen others go, "well I like it when people do that, so everyone is welcome to spam like me". if someone says they don't consider being mutuals to necessarily mean being friends, a dozen others go, "reminder that if we've even glanced at each other even once then we're the bestest friends ever and you can talk to me any time!"
it's not like, morally wrong for people to have preferences for how they'd like others to treat them, and it's strange to try and fight to be the most accommodating kindest nicest doormat ever. I guess the dumb discourse around, you know, colour palette/pose theft or whatever, has made people have more knee-jerk reactions to having an actually reasonable boundary.

REALLY IMPORTANT UPDATE PLEASE READ
Hey y’all, so this blog is probably gonna be on a VERY SHORT hiatus. Just like. Literally less than a week.
The short long of it all is that my parents are coming in tonight for the holidays and unfortunately as much as I tired I didn’t have time to queue up enough stuff for that period of time.
The ask box is STAYING OPEN during this period of time! So you CAN keep sending stuff in there just won’t be any polls for a hot second! Holidays are just kinda hectic, you know? Lol
But thanks again for everyone’s support and I’ll see y’all after I’m done showing my beach parents around the mountains haha
Also! In case anyone is interested! Cartoon Network is on YouTube streaming Holiday Special reruns of their cartoons for FREE for this month! Here’s the link! Happy Holidays and go watch cartoons!!

Good day D4DJ fans, I have but a simple question for you all!
(Please reblog and put in the tags if you're joining in or seeing what comes from this shipping week when you vote!)
BEFORE YOU DECIDE! I have the prompts ready!
Day 1 (9/8) - Sun/Rain
Day 2 (9/9) - Gift/Birthday
Day 3 (9/10) - Cuddling/Holding hands
Day 4 (9/11) - AU
Day 5 (9/12) - Photography/Makeup
Day 6 (9/13) - Public/Private
Day 7 (9/14) - Free day
A few guidelines for the week:
You can choose from either of the two prompts each day (except for Day 4 and 7, of course)
No NSFW submissions, please! (I'm a minor)
It's only happening in Tumblr, so it won't be on any other platforms.
You can submit fics or fanart, just be sure to post a link to them here!
You can miss out on a few prompts and also ready your work in advance! (This is why I'm announcing this really really early before the week for people to prepare!)
Depending on the outcome of this poll, I'll be making a blog for the submissions. (I don't wanna make a blog then find out I'm the only one participating, haha)

it does genuinely annoy me tbh that everytime someone wants to vague nonsense about me to discredit me or make me seem bad, they have to leave out and make up random stuff which always reveals their ableism and queerphobia
eg. this person just doesn’t like what I have to say about syscourse on my blog, so they blocked me and made a big self-righteous post about how having reclaimed slurs on my blog makes me a “fucking weirdo”
then when they receive pushback for this they switch it up to “omg he has a MANIFESTO on his pinned about a topic I disagree with”, revealing what the actual problem was to begin with. the slurs were literally not the problem and were used as an excuse to paint me as scary and violent.
but presenting it as “this mentally ill cult survivor has a syscourse post as their pinned so they don’t have to keep talking about it, and is also a trans man who reclaims slurs for himself” would be a lot different from “this FUCKING WEIRDO wrote A MANIFESTO about SYSCOURSE. WHY would they even care omg they must be a violent scary person!”
but as a person with DID who is a cult survivor it’s very obvious why I would “care that much about it.”, especially if you bothered to read the posts and not just see that a person with DID is talking about something you disagree with, so now you have to turn the ableism up on them
you can obviously disagree with me but this isn’t how you go about it lol. you could have blocked me and just put “people who use slurs dni” without any explanation or statement made about it instead of trying to make me seem like a violent crazy person for not living up to your standard of survivor/queer.
also to make things clear: literally all I did was reblog a post on my dash about a cool dragon competition, from an OP who had no dni and still doesn’t, and they vagued me by calling me a “fucking weirdo” and likening my actions to that of a school shooters. (”manifesto” is a very loaded term to be using against a trans person right now but ok.)

Chucking thoughts in here instead of a tag wall, because this is something I've been contemplating lately:
I'm torn on this one - I am by nature, a writer first. I am always going to generally favour a well written character which incorporates their sexuality into their personality over anything else. I feel Dorian in DA:I is a great example of this - I loved the female inquisitor's dynamic with him! Like he is extremely flirty, and when your female character tries to take it further he quickly explains his position and also that being flirty is part of his humour/personality - it's just how he is with everyone. And I was so down for that, like I imagine my Inquisitor's dynamic with him never changed - they're both being goddamn insufferable and hyping each other up just by flirting back and forth for fun! And I found that idea way more enriching and added another layer of depth both to him AND my player character. Because it got me thinking about their interactions outside of just what is presented in the game itself.
But on the other hand I really have to acknowledge that I could have probably figured out the whole Lesbian thing a lot faster if I was given the RIGHT female love interest - which then got me thinking about how female/female romance has been handled in games.
It's hard to put into words, because again attraction is relative - however, I do think there's something here. I thought back to every RPG game I really enjoyed with a female LI that could be romanced by a female player (mostly bioware). While I have ID'd as Bisexual since 18 and played female/female romances none of them were super appealing. It felt a lot of the time like it was 'for a lack of better option' choice than one I was super enthusiastic about - and then all the love interests I'd ACTUALLY be hype for - Cassandra Pentaghast, ME's Jack (who is canonically pansexual, we were done dirty), Panam Palmer - just to name a few, were locked into male-only romance. The common thread with a lot of these (yeah I clearly have a type, shut up lol) is they are very headstrong women who don't conform to societal gender expectations. They're stubborn, some swear like a sailor, and none of them you could ever class as stereotypically 'lady like'. They're all extremely confident in themselves and who they are in the world, and fuck anyone or anything who tries to make them compromise that.
By contrast, considering all the female love interests I've passed on over the years as a female character player (Liara T'soni, Josephine Montilyet, Leliana for example) I have liked as characters but not found them attractive because they're ... I don't know, they do have strength in them and show that but they very much - to me at least - fall within the realm of typical female archetypes. Also a notable argument was a lot of them reminded me of myself - or a self I'm trying to detach from - which made them unattractive to me. Fully aware this could be projecting but - they felt meek, not extremely assertive, like they were playing second fiddle to you as the player.
And I get this kind of ... sinking feeling, in my gut that this is, again - all male gaze. Female PCs by virtue of the narrative and game mechanics tend to be badasses, and especially in the case where there are a male/female character choice. You could argue they are written to be distinctly 'masculine', simply because they share a lot of lines with a male PC. I'm not against this - this is simply WRITING A GOOD CHARACTER to me. Gender is thrown out the window, in its place is just good writing. Ripley from Alien is often seen as an example of this, she was an excellent character for her time because she was originally written AS a man.* Because gender did NOT inform her character (or to the degree society expects women to perform gender) and was just written as a human being with logical reactions and motivation.
So where am I going with this? Well in the case of your badass, unisex-script PC, you fill the stereotypical 'dominant' role in the relationship dynamic. And I really can't help but notice, that the few wlw romance options available I've passed on over the years fall neatly into the more 'submissive' or 'feminine' role in this dynamic. Now think of the fact that men have a tendency to play female characters (for various, but often male gaze-ey reasons). There is a level of expectation from heteronormative gender roles that someone is the 'man' and someone is the 'woman' even a queer relationship (which any queer person knows - is complete bullshit). And because the player is LIKELY to be male, even playing a female I really do wonder if this is why all female romance options for female characters have been written this way. No wonder I'm passing on these options when for all intents and purposes - it reads like a het relationship. I'm not interested in a het relationship!
Am I delusional? Is it the Autism making me miss shit? Possibly. But I am just highly aware of the fact that every game I've played with a romance potential - I have always been locked out of going anywhere near the women I am actually interested in. They've been male-only options. And I think it's almost a weird ... Taming of the Shrew situation. Here is this wild (read: gender-role-non-conforming) woman and only a man can tame her.
So this is where I'm more pro-bi/pan romance characters, simply because it breaks this dynamic I feel so many love interests have been shoehorned into. ESPECIALLY in cases where there is good grounds for speculation (or even CANON) that a character is actually bi/pan - but is un-romanceable if your PC is a certain gender. Making everyone bi/pan eliminates this trope bias. And I know my instinct on this must be getting SOMETHING right, if the horrified response of gamerbros to Karlach being dominant with them in bed is anything to go by. I'm not arguing that Karlach is Lesbian coded either, I firmly believe this is a HUGE win for both the Lesbians and Men who like dominant women. We're both sitting on lounge chairs together near the pool drinking beer. (Also notice how a Man wanting to be with a dominant woman is considered a 'fetish'? Anyway gender roles are dumb).
So as much as I am a writer first, and I love how sexuality is woven into a characters identity - honestly until we actually break down these intentional/unintentional biases in how we represent our same-sex romances, especially when options are already horribly limited, I'd simply prefer to be able to romance them, regardless of my character's gender.
Anyway gender is a social construct, fuck TERFs, and thanks for coming to my wlw in videogames TED talk.
this is just sparked by my own curiosity, not by any sort of drama. i am not here to try and debate whether or not romances belong in games at all, or whether or not you should enjoy them (you should if you want), or even if they belong in fandom spaces (they do), i just want to know how people feel about the mechanic being present in a game overall
do not use this as an excuse to try and tear down others, that's the quickest way to get blocked
*this does not mean playersexual! **this can mean gender and/or sexuality preferences, think how cp2077 let you romance certain characters if you had a specific voice-type

Okay about the ask I just sent you about MDZS, you can totally ignore that. I don't ever talk to people on here about MDZS because, as you have said, the fandom is...not the best, but in light of that, you can just ignore it if you don't wanna, well, engage with fandom discourse. What you said just reminded me of all the bad takes and I kinda went off, even though you meant it lighthearted. So, sorry, lol.
No, I do like talking to other people about their interpretations lol. It’s just. It feels like almost every time I make a post talking about MDZS with even the slightest sense of an opinion, someone always has to come and “correct” me, usually being really rude about it. And even when they’re seemingly being well-meaning like you (not that you’re “correcting” me or anything lol), they’re shadowboxing with the larger fandom opinions instead of talking to ME. It feels like we’re not actually having a conversation, if that makes sense?
I want to compare interpretations and see how others viewed the novel. That’s a major point of fandom, in my opinion. But I just can’t stand discourse where there can only be “one true interpretation,” and we’re just pointing at each other saying, “I’m right, and you’re wrong.” I understand the whole “we can have different opinions about a character, but at a certain point, we’re talking about different characters entirely,” and I just. Don’t Care if we end up having different characters. One of my favorite things about stories is the hundreds, thousands, millions of different characters that appear from a single canon character. My favorite thing is meeting these different characters, even if I hate them. The point of fandom, to me, is about how we change canon, not replicating it almost identically to “stay in canon.”
