I love thinking about how Alfred treats Dick more of a son than a grandson because their relationship is different from Alfred's relationship with the other kids. Furthermore, it also explains a bunch of his actions.

First of, I know when everyone saw that Alfred had left Dick his entire inheritance they went "What the fuck." There were a bunch of jokes and questioning about why Alfred would do that and a lot of people have wrote it off as Tom Taylor's writing. But here's the thing. Tom Taylor has done a lot of stupid stuff in terms of characterization but he's done quite a few things right and one of them was adequately explaining Dick and Alfred's relationship.

I don't know how many people can read cursive but it says, "I invested much of this wisely and ethically...In fact, I planned to come to you for advice. Like Bruce, your mind is astonishing. You are a problem-solver and the world is full of problems." (There's actually panel during one of Dick and Slade's fight I have saved so lemme know if you or anyone is interested in Dick's innovativeness and how it makes his a terrifying opponent.)

Let me pause right there. This is Alfred's life savings. It's every piece of penny he's saved and every minute of his life is in that money. On top of what he says about Dick's intellect-and I agree and can prove it-he must've loved and trusted Dick an extraordinary amount to do this.

Alfred goes on to say, "I couldn't think of better hands to leave this fortune in. I believe you will see this, not as a personal gain, but as an opportunity. Because I believe in Dick Grayson."

He continues praising him and- HERE IT IS- "I am so very proud to call you my son."

DICK IS ALFRED'S SON.

This is the cleanest, clearest panel where he explicitly says it.

"Master Bruce was my son for a while. And then there was you."

THIS MOMENT HAS BEEN BUILDING UP ON US FOR YEARS. Tom Taylor wasn't doing lip service, he was just writing the inevitable!

I swear there's a panel where Dick refers to Alfred as his dad...

*Record scratch* WHAT DID ALFRED CALL DICK? WHAT DID DICK CALL ALFRED?

THIS IS WHY I LOVE THEM!!! THEY ARE GLORIOUS, BRILLIANT, UNDERRATED, AND NO ONE UNDERSTANDS THE FULL EXTENT OF EITHER OF THEIR ABILITIES, LOVE, OR DEPTH OF EMOTIONS.

THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS ON A DIFFERENT LEVEL.

Take the Ric Grayson arc for another example.

Background context: Dick-Ric-was sleeping on the counter and all of a sudden he was startled out of a nightmare thus accidentally ending up bumping into the guy next to him who was drinking. Of course the guy doesn't mind only because it's Dick but anyways, here Alfred makes his entrance. Another thing I love about about this interaction is this is one of the few times Alfred has ever admitted to being in the military. The only other time I can think of him openly saying that is when he's slapping Bruce around.

The worry in the man's eyes for his wayward son...when Bea is snarking with Dick about his tab Alfred decides to pay for him instead.

LOOK AT HIS EYES AS HE SAYS GOOD NIGHT! THE AMOUNT OF EMOTION HE HAS IN THEM IS PURE PERFECTION. THE MAN JUST WANTS HIS SON TO COME BACK.

Not to mention, Alfred adores Dick in a way he didn't even with Bruce.

"For a long time I would dread coming down to this dark hellhole. But the advent of young Grayson has forced an alteration in my attitude. The masters have made much progress in these few short months. I was opposed initially to the recruitment of the lad in Master Bruce's self-appointed 'War on Crime.' But I am prepared to admit my error. Master Richard has mad a difference for the better to our lives."

This is HUGE. Coming from Alfred, this is massive because Alfred LOATHES Bruce's "War on Crime." How much?

So much that he slapped Bruce bloody for it.

The pseudo-father and son beat each other to pieces over it. So after years of Alfred hating Bruce for what he's done, for him to say he only accepts it because of Dick-because of Dick's personality-is enormous praise and accomplishment.

Alfred loves Dick in a way he doesn't love anyone else. And before I get flamed by people for suggesting Alfred loves Dick more than Bruce, I want to say he loves Dick as much as Bruce but in a different manner. He doesn't see Dick as a grandchild who needs to be coddled and softened, he sees Dick as a son he can spoil and cherish.

Him paying off the tab was not only an act of kindness, but it mimicks the way a rich father gives everything to his youngest son. Bruce was the first born he raised but Dick was the baby of their family. This also ties in with how Bruce doesn't see Dick as just him son like he does with the others. To Bruce, they are just as much brothers as anything else.

When Bruce fires Dick from Robin after two-face, Alfred couldn't take it lightly. Dick wasn't just the light of Bruce's life, he was the fucking sun to Alfred's.

I started crying when I read this because the emotions and the pain he's feeling is so visceral. A man who has been MI5 and SAS (Special Airforce Service), who has fought wars, who has fought his son, lost his best friends, is breaking down alone at the top of the stairs over not having Dick as Robin.

You might think that's not all that sad. Worse things have happened. You're overreacting.

Tears are literally streaming down my face as I'm writing this review. Rudolph nose and ugly bloodstained eyes complete with it.

Can you ever imagine loving someone so much?

Crying in silence with a steady voice to never let them know your sorrow?

But sure, sure, he's cried when others were killed like this so I'll go into other special things.

Some of his best moments are with Dick:

The pure adoration in his eyes as he watches his young son go 'flap' 'flap' 'flap' with his older brother's too big cloathes.

He's laughing! Do you know the only times he laughs or grins like that?

That's right-with Bruce! With his other son.

With Dick, he laughs, gets angry, and actually shows interest in things not related to people's health. Dick humanizes Alfred.

Who is the only other person Alfred has gotten mad at? Oh yeah. Bruce.

There's another panel where Alfred just sits by his bedside holding his hand.

It's the little things that matter is a lie. When it comes to Dick, Alfred does things in fighter jet air shows level of affection which he learned just for this during his SAS days.

Their shared interests & mutual understanding

People always think Dick and Alfred have nothing in common between them. Dick is excitable, bouncy, and some other adjective while Alfred is calming, stoic, and butler-y. They actually forget that Dick and Alfred canonically bond of plays. Dick, as I said before, is a massive theater nerd. He loves plays. He really wanted to see that shakespeare play and Alfred said he would take him because he knows people there and then went on to complain about how his brother didn't even drop by to see him. I love their interactions because Dick brings out a different side to Alfred.

Das Rheingold was a German musical drama that was performed as a single opera at the National Theatre Munich. This is the link if you're interested in reading a short synopsis of this complicated play by the Metropolitan Opera. It's like a mix of "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Rings of Power."

Also the fact that Alfred is tying his tie like a father would tie his son's.

I know they make a crack out of it by using Bugs Bunny (Bugs Bunny is a fantastic cartoon! I grew up on it!) but Alfred knows that Dick loves opera and theater and is only asking if this particular play will suit his interests. Okay, great, we know Dick likes theater. You've said that and posted about it before. But how do we know Alfred likes it too and not just because he's British and posh and whatnot?

He has preformed at the London Theater, and this is another way he connects to Dick emotionally. When Dick complains about being Batman, Alfred is the one that tells him:

This is something Alfred understands about Dick that absolutely no one in the family does.

The two of them are show people. They know how to play the role they were given, and they know how to play it well. No one suspects Alfred the Butler of ruthlessly using firearms and no one suspects Dick the Light of the Universe to ruthlessly to manipulate allies.

Dick knows this about Alfred too and never presses for any answers. When Alfred's pulling out a bullet from Dick and performing high level medical techniques he should know nothing about, Dick asks him, "Where did you learn all this, Alfred." To which Alfred responds, "You would be amazed at what you can pick up by watching the Discovery Channel." Dick just gives a pained laugh retorts about his wonderful bedside manners.

They know.

What Alfred sees in Dick is a pure goodness that can't be emulated. He loves his son for how absolutely good he is and is devastated when Dick can't be with him. Of everyone, Dick is the one Alfred is closest to. Other members have their moments with him but no one continually seeks out his presence just for the fact they like him aside from Dick. The rest treat him as an important side character, not a parent. And Alfred responds to that devotion with overwhelming love of his own.

Alfred and Bruce's optimism comes bundled up in the form of Dick. It's stunning how it's always Alfred of all people who admits this. Alfred who isn't supposed to show favoritism or bias is the one that consistently acknowledges how important Dick is to the family and him. This solidifies the fact that Dick is Alfred's favorite.

Other moments that differentiate Dick and Alfred's relationship:

We're pretty familiar with this and many of us have laughed it off when Alfred scolded Dick (also Dick looks hot af here). But can you imagine even anyone else playfully mocking Alfred? THIS. BOY. IS. SPECIAL. Alfred doesn't even blink twice at the address, indicating how typical it is for Dick to act that way with him. You only do that to people you're best friends with.

Casual comfort, the two of them.

Dick and Bruce were brothers and how that ties into Alfred:

Adding to my "Light of Bruce's life" Robin Dick canon, Alfred told Dick that Bruce "would have self-distructed if he hadn't met me and learned responsibility. I made him laugh, and he was like the greatest big brother you could ever imagine...it was our town."

Bruce and Dick are so damn codependent.

Bruce would not have survived without Dick. That's all there is to it.

Robin Dick was the light shining through rain clouds, the glitter in the air, the angel with golden wings, the giggling sweetheart to Alfred and Bruce. He was sunshine, love, and joy and the men both adored, thrived, and cherished him for it.

And if Dick and Bruce were brothers then Alfred was Dick's father and he was Alfred's son.

1.Nicasia redemption arc/delving into why nicasia was such a pos lol. Also nicasia and her mom hopefully having a sweet and healthy relationship (not sure if it’ll be explored or not but if the book is centered around her)

2.a scary political problem. I want my emotions stirred and holly black does that REALLY well.

3. Madoc not being an asshat for once/ proving that he finally cares more about his family than power and violence. I want to see some growth from him! PLEASE

4.JURDAN. specifically: cardan being scary in public but nurturing to jude AND the same with Jude

5. Mayybbeee dual pov? specifically jude and cardan and perchance nicasia? Maybe even oak and surens pov from elfhame?

they're all a merge of a bajillion inspirations and original ideas, i gotta credit tvtropes.org for pretty much being the source of every story's ideas haha. was a big fan of taking existing cliches and adding a few what ifs next to it as a basis

(this world is basically just earth but what if plastics are alive and treated life like pollution XD 😭😭😭👍 )

anyway it ruined my life, highly recommend. i can list the tropes i took inspiration from, but i don't want to stray away from the question too much

i'll give the main media inspirations that you haven't mentioned, mostly will be uneths cuz its the most developed

though ironically, I wasn't all too inspired by all tomorrows 🙃 i was already a fan of grotesque designs and human sub-species before discovering it haha

polaroid's design doesn't come from anywhere, generic good guy? lol

i really liked the idea of silhouettes being the main design (where brush strokes within the body disappears instead of defined). i don't always go by that rule though 👩‍🦽

his personality mainly comes from bunny in boo bunny plague, from how he talks to his actual voice (pol even plays music in regards to the same genre LMAO)

its a mediocre game with a strange story but it holds sentimentality XDD the music slaps though, listen to this

for some reason the ost isn't in youtube, soundcloud or spotify. too underrated i guess. you can ask me for the full soundtrack plus a secret lil comic they got made. im a boo bunny fan i dont care if the story is generic, bunny is polaroid's true parent 😭😭😭

ui's design actually first came from limbo (game by playdead which also inspired,,, well. limbo 👹👹👹 not enough black and white ideas in general 😔)

his shapeshifting ability was originally inspired from generator rex (and eventually akira when i kept hearing it was the inspiration lol). then evangelion, the angels were my favourite to watch XD ramiel best girl real

slowly he's evolved to be inspired by ???% from mob psycho 100, to auditor along with his role being the (false) villain, then to giygas from earthbound (spoilers) which is why he got very big and swirly(?)

i started to lean more on him being those generic sleep paralysis demons or dark lords. because he is one

a few notable mentions for his personality is gunny from boo bunny, and samurai jack. he used to be fully non verbal while polaroid is the talkative one haha

i had a time i was inspired to use music symbols, and this symbol was what fit ui the most (bass clef)

now you can't unsee him too 🤣🤣🤣

his parent arc is inspired from you are umasou (japanese dino movie), nani (lilo and stitch) and god of war 4 (kratos' new voice is the true god 🤼‍♀️🤼‍♀️🤼‍♀️), there's a pretty obscure webcomic by bogleech called awful hospital where the main character (fern) is trying to find her son- another big inspiration

his "goldfish" design is inspired by bloody bunny (semi spoilers, when the sister turns into a monster form), the spaceship from a pilot film called starship goldfish (hence the name pff, i'll wait till the day i die for this series), and a scene in kaiba (2008) where the main character turned into a giant white hippo plushie lol

small warning for kaiba, it looks cartoony but has adult themes. actually many things i shared here has pretty adult themes lmaoekakejdioajdidj

shi xuan used to be my first sona XD obviously all the bad stuff was going to her (spared him by killing her honestly)

he's based on toon link (legend of zelda wind waker), then slowly inspired by lilo (lilo and stitch). looks a lot like frisk from undertale but ironically never inspired XD more on foreigners calling me asian eyes(??)

then umasou (you are umasou), the lost (binding of isaac), and eventually i settled with her being a "pontianak" which is the malay/indonesian name for that popular horror of a woman wearing a long white dress with long hair

i remember he's vaguely supposed to be a living corpse named "pocong" in my language but that idea was scrapped and the body is separated to belong to another dead kid. might get back to that idea one day

his personality is mostly based on a general nihilistic optimist mindset, i have her act a bit more similar to polaroid which got ui bond with her easier. and also why polaroid most likely doesn't like how much she reminds him of himself haha (but if they take the time to bond, he'll like her. in aus only 👹)

benoît is full on just the 1337 agent with a bit of the boy from inside (playdead). he's more based on general tropes of being the villain's goon but put more personality (and not actually being assigned the job XDDDDDDDDD) so he has a lot more original ideas to play with

unrelated but my name mama boy (or motherly boy) came from the fact that i called the boy from inside that purely because of that one moment he met some baby chickens XD a boy who is motherly. for like 1 minute before lauching them to push a box off the ceiling 🤷‍♀️

the hivemind idea from madcom version originated from inside too

initially i wanted him to be an unseen announcer/narrator like from stanley parable who's less demanding. this was before he got his own design, i could do more with that idea maybe

lauren used to be an entirely cartoon turtle and one of the oldest characters made. im a turtle person so obviously i drew turtle characters with those generic mary sue designs lol

eventually he turned more and more into an angel and i thought why not just make him biblically accurate and turned him into a turtle fetus 💐

meow too started out that way, originally named talo (she still has many names like porlivium but talo is scrapped) and was more leaning on the trope where turtles always had cities on their backs as they move

main inspiration design is that rock from kangaroo island, the other parts of the design is just my own ideas. i liked shadow of the colossus a lot so she was inspired from that world

her main idea is the calling countries a she or he. this was soon inspired to be what all respawns are, being objects with genders even though it doesn't really make sense lol. singapore is called she a lot in her birthday/national day 💃

nowadays meow's starting to become a beetle than turtle, and decided what's the funniest personality i could put on a living piece of the entire world's land? mean girl 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

she used to be bigger than woe and where you look at the sky, she stares back with a more visible massive eye (before she got turned into a cyborg). this idea was scrapped

she soon took the place of ben's role of narrator, though this is more involved on the backrooms saga

high up the chimneys

grub and bee is obviously the thief and the cobbler XD other than that, inspired from bees and mosquitoes, their own professions' outfits plus general contids and porlivean designs and that's kinda it

grub is a take on the trope of the grumpy neighbour next door. except he's shamelessly annoying for no reason, everywhere and you can't escape him. just like mosquitoes XD

bee too is a take on the trope of a goody two shoes that's too much of an optimist. since he's a bee, i made him short tempered and full of ptsd

dr tea was inspired by karl too, but later toned down to just becoming a normal bartender. with a twist of him venting to the drunk people instead of people venting to him BHAHA

syiara (sugar) is a big work in progress, but her uniform design is based on a cockroach lol

coyote is kinda obvious in being inspired by the ending of inside (ifyouknowyouknow)

time to die!

you got the gist of it XD it's pretty much just adventure time but if finn is a psychopath (kinda offset this where he's not that violent anymore, but he's still a psychopath)

pablo aside from finn is also inspired by shrike (hence he uses the orange suit), and found out that finn also uses orange for his pajamas so that's a nice coincidence XD

clyde is jake but design-wise is directly the ship from the season (spoilers) where finn finds the other humans

kiki is literally baby from civil war (with shrike) lmao. sad hes gone though, unless he's hidden in monkey wrench and will be introduced later

carl is.... karl XD 😭 though his idea was from a space dandy episode, if i remember there was an alien species that turns into another character and pretends to be them (the name meow is also taken here but her personality isnt based on the character)

also one reference i kept mentioning is the "my style!!!" quote belonging from adventure time xD forgot which episode. finn got shaved and exclaimed that lol

loop fracture

ken is based off both limbo and inside by playdead, is more a trope of the generic isekai (reversed) protagonist kid but i made him feral 👹

peep is based trico from the last guardian. notable mention (not an inspiration but VERY similar design i found XD) is anna from my daemon. honestly i was shook at this, even had a character that looked like ui and ISNT a villain without reason? ✋ goodbye my originality, i stole from it all along (jkjk

lil' venango is based off a mix of little red riding hood and death. she's mostly inspired by a song called me and mr wolf xD

(the wolf meant to be coyote, whom is to be eaten by venango)

the world overall is mainly inspired by kaiba (2008), here and there inspired by nevada (madcom), a bunch of studio ghibli movies lol, A PLETHORA of animation student films (notably gobelins, animation workshop, etc) with some usual (+ experimental) animation films independent from schools, and lots of real life places

im sure theres more inspirations i forget to mention, but i've yapped more than enough of the quota for today and my brain has exploded BYE BYE

1. What’s a fic you’ve read more than once?

This fic is the prime example of why you should write a fic even if you think nobody’s going to read it, because it’s my favorite gallavich fic even though most people don’t want to read about them getting a divorce. But I do, okay, because a normal break-up doesn’t cut it (especially since we already see those in canon, but post-canon is up to our interpretation) and it’s just more serious. I think they will work out their issues before it gets too far in canon but it just hurts so fucking good. The reason for their divorce is so realistic too, in fact it’s not one but a lot of problems piled on top of each other. They think it’s only going to hurt everyone involved including their children, which is arguably true in context, but they can’t resist each other and it’s this back and forth push. There’s parallels to canon, the writing is so good without being drawn out, and there’s so much nuance, emotion, and subtly hinting at something beneath the surface. The pining is just delicious because it’s not “I don’t know if you feel this way about me” or “I’m not allowed to be with you,” it’s “I want to be with you so badly but I’m trying to resist that because it’s going to hurt everyone.” Then the trying so hard not to care because “we’re over, but you’re in trouble and I’m trying to move on and I’m never going to love someone else like I love you” 😭😭😭 anyway I actually had to stop myself from rereading too often for comfort because it was too much LOL

the author said they were going to update it January of this year so I’ll be patiently waiting 😔

I want Ian to go back to being an EMT no matter what :( but their current security gig fits Mickey a lot. Ian also gets really into gardening, he'll be so good to the point where he'll be known in the neighborhood. And Mickey has a little hobby for drawing. They'll adopt a pitbull because Mickey was actually enthusiastic about that idea, which meets Ian halfway by still giving him something to take care of. Now for the elephant in the room: I think it's okay if Mickey never wants a kid, and there's a lot of issues ingrained in them that unless they go to therapy for a couple of years, hinder them from becoming perfect parents tbh. Now I'm not saying they'll be bad, but will their best be enough? Will they be content? Idk, I don't have any experience and I see them with more issues/flaws than the majority of the fandom? Honestly I just don't see that future for them (but I do enjoy kid AUs because who doesn't.) They'll stay on the West Side because I want them to get out but not stray too far from their family. 🫐 What’s your favorite underrated thing in your fandom? (A ship that only you seem to write for, a character there’s almost no fics about, a trope that criminally hasn’t been written yet, etc.)

I'm gonna cheat a little bit and answer each of those sub-questions separately because I want to :). First of all: I understand why, because he has no social link in male route, but Shinjiro/Minato is a CRIMINALLY underrated ship and if I have to populate the AO3 tag myself then I WILL. (there are some really amazing fics and art out there tho 😭). As for underrated characters, Fuuka is the obvious answer to me, I love her so much but she's so overlooked 😔. Though I will also add: I'm a bit sad about the lack of Ai Ebihara content because she is Everything to me. Lastly, a trope that I haven't seen yet that I really want to: maybe this is just my own insanity talking, but I remain shocked that I haven't seen any "roleswap" type fics that swap the characters between the different Persona game scenarios. For example, a fic where Akira discovers the Dark Hour rather than the Metaverse while on probation and he and the other P5 characters end up joining/forming SEES, or a fic where there's a string of murders in Iwatodai and the P3 characters have to go into the TV world to save the victims... stuff like that, y'know? I don't think I've ever seen a single one, even though they seem like really obvious ideas to me! (BTW if anyone reading this knows of such a fic, I would appreciate if you could rec it to me <3)

SO MANY. I already mentioned the P3 Magician full moon shadow and the Ikutsuki reveal, so my third pick would probably be the interrogation room from Persona 5. Just... first of all, I want to write fics about just the aftermath of that scene. How did everyone else react? How did Akira cope? etc. But also, there are SO MANY SPINS you can put on the scene itself. The obvious ones being, what if Akechi either didn't fall for it, or decided to defect to the Phantom Thieves at the last minute? Either of those could lead to so many delicious possibilities, and even if neither of those happened, I love imagining scenarios where people other than Sae are there to break Akira out, be they the Phantom Thieves, the grown-up Shadow Operatives -- hell, I kind of want to see a fic where former government worker Sojiro has to dust off his old badge or whatever and Bluff and Bluster his way into the facility to spring Akira himself, even though that doesn't even make any sense. It's just... AUGH there are so many juicy POSSIBILITIES

From the playthroughs I've seen of Andromeda I think that this is a somewhat of a common problem: you've got all of these really interesting characters who have like 1-2 cutscenes and then they're forgotten about. I wanna play it so I can truly form an opinion but so far I feel like Andromeda is a good game that could've been great. But it definitely is gorgeous, unfortunately I can only play newer games on my sister's pc when she has the space for them 😔

Yeah, AC3 is the surprising favourite for me. I didn't particularly care about the historical setting and the general opinion seemed to be that it's the black sheep of the franchise. But I wanted to see the conclusion of Desmond's arc so I started playing it and just completely fell in love.

It's definitely not a perfect game, but it has so much charm! Connor is one of the most underrated protagonists in any franchise (Hanar got to have a front view seat of me going from "Why is everyone complaining, he's not that bad" to "Bby boy, he deserved so much better and I will kill on this hill for him"). The modern storyline had its problems, especially with how anticlimactic the ending wad, but it still hit hard and knew where it was going with it unlike other games in the franchise. The Homestead missions are a highlight and I'm pretty sure people who say Connor is bland and boring probably skipped those completely (and also ignored the subtle character arc he went through in the main quest). All of the side characters are interesting and fleshed out, but Achilles, Haytham and Kaniehtí:io (for the brief time she's in the game she carries so much presence) have got to be some of the best. The way all three of them have shaped Connor as the person he is at the end of the game is really fascinating and I don't see nearly enough discussion about it (and I'm forever bitter they cut off his monologue at the end if the game, it's just so him 🤌🏻)

I also think making Connor half-Mohawk and exploring the events of the Civil war through his point of view was an interesting and surprisingly progressive decision, and it brought a unique and sobering perspective. I do think they could've spent more time exploring his heritage and the relationship with his people, but by all accounts a lot of research went into presenting the Kanien'kehà:ka as accurate and respectfully as possible.

I just hate the wasted potential of the games that came after because I genuinely like the main stories up until Odyssey (sorry I'm a hater, Origins is good but everything after is not an AC game for me 😔). It's stupid that they messed up the lore so much and didn't take advantage of showing how modern assassins operate (à la the ac3 modern missions).

OK so, this might be an unpopular opinion but I love Unity. I think this is a game that had so much potential and could've changed the direction the franchise went into had it not been for greedy executives trying to force the game out before it was ready. It could've been one of the best if it had at least one more year of development.

To some degree I love it as the game it could've been with characters that got fleshed out more and a story that made sense rather than what the game actually is like.

One thing that needed a complete makeover from the ground up was the modern plot line. I understand the idea they were going for, but by god did I hate the helix rifts. They're so cool as a concept but were so badly implemented into the story, always interrupting the big emotional climaxes and not letting them sink in organically. I still wake up sweating at night and hearing Bishop's voice say "I play a lot of games multiplayer, I don't know about". It's seared into my brain alongside the question of who let this line get through to the game??? And the cherry on top is realising that the whole time the modern assassins are looking for the sage's body Arno had already pulled a uno reverse card on the Templars and scattered Germain's remains around the Catacombs.... so what was the whole point of this entire storyline then?? Contrast this with any of Desmond's storylines and it looks like a joke. It's just a perfect representation of how little the devs knew what to do with the Juno storyline smh.

If they've taken my boy Desmond from us, they could have at least introduced another strong modern protagonist but noooo, who needs that.
