Whats are the each dokis worst fear?

Monika - Eternity. It just generally makes her uncomfortable and thinking about it too much makes her feel existential dread.

Sayori - Loneliness. She fears being alone and dying alone. She just feels like she need someone else to be something and she just gets generally anxious and depressed when alone.

MC - Never amounting to anything. He feels a need to impact the world in some way, leave a legacy, but he doesn't know how. He feels as if he'll just die amounting to nothing.

Natsuki - Becoming abusive. She fears that her trauma and violent demeanor will cause her to become like her dad and hurt anyone and everyone around her.

Yuri - Going insane. She hates the thought of losing herself and her mind being broken. To be consumed by her impulses and emotions, leaving her rational side to die.

i obviously cant talk about ddlc fics without mentioning the big three : home, for the longest time, and snow (honourable mention is definitely cherry wine). these are by far the most popular fics of the fandom, which is funny bc ive read 2 out of 4 of these lol

When you first came to the club, she was surprised on how distant you were. Monika had told everyone she was bringing someone new in, Natsuki had cupcakes prepared for whoever!

So, when you went to introduce yourself, she immediately noticed how quiet you seemed. The others seemed to recognize it as well.

She decided to take the initiative and offer you a cupcake! Deep down, she really wanted you to feel welcome – just like how she feels safe in the club room.

After a while, she'd make sure to pay attention to you more, she really wanted you to be comfortable.

She'd make sure to help you with activities if you needed, recommend you manga, and would even show you some of her poems personally!

She even let you sit and read manga with her, she felt comfortable enough with you to do anything. Things that she'd normally be defensive about to other people.

If you two were doing poem readings, she'd subtly encourage you when it came to your turn.

And if you had to read it out loud, she'd support you with a smile.

She tends to react to loud voices/sounds, so whenever she notices you reacting to them as well, she'll reassure you.

She even tells Sayori to quiet down when you're around!

When you two start dating, she may be flustered at first. But she'll try for you. She tends to make it her goal for you to feel as safe as she does.

She tends to brag about you, and while she may not know the right words to compliment you, she always tries.

And you really appreciate it! You want to thank her somehow, but it can be hard.

She's aware of this, and doesn't mind. She will wait until you're somewhat out of your shell.

She'll try to ease you out of your comfort zone. It may not be so easy for her.. but she really does try!

Sometimes, it feels like she knows you more than you know yourself, she's able to notice when you're scared to speak for yourself and speaks for you.

some video game hcs!!

- minori adores rhythm games, just dance, and wii sports, basically any game that involves exercise or a way to get her energy out. i think shed also like chicory (yall should check it out, its super cute and wholesome!!)

- kanade is surprisingly good at platforming, she enjoys hollow knight, ori, and other games with that aesthetic. shes not very good at the combat though

- haruka doesnt have much time to play games due to her busy schecule, but if she did have time, i think shed enjoy games like a little to the left, unpacking, and other organization games

- ena and mizuki love visual novels, games like nso (not projecting at all <3), ddlc, and class of 09 (havent played but the vibes)

- emu loves animal crossing and mario party, she gets reeeally competitive when she plays mario party w the rest of her friends

- mafuyu gets incredibly competitive in any game she plays, and is quite good at mario kart, though overall shes fairly neutral on games

- kohane and airi enjoy those cat mobile gacha games

- honami plays cooking mama lol

- rui and nene are huge pokemon fans, theyve played most gens and have spent dozens of hours shiny hunting/pokedex completion

- ichika doesnt play many games but she does like to put on plastic placid duck simulator while she works, she showed it to kanade and now theyre both in love with it

- oh mizuki also adores oneshot, they see niko as their little child

2. Sayuri: Deredere x Dandere? How cute!

3. SayoMC: Cut, kinda neutral on MC as a character though. Even then, this one is my #1 BROTP.

4. Sayonika: I prefer wholesome ships over toxic ships, and not much potential since Monika likes the player not Sayori (in a romantic context, Monika does like all the dokis as friends even when she is self-aware :D.)

5. Sayori x Player (can't find a ship name for this one): She doesn't even know who the player is in act 1, LMAO.

act 2:

Beautifully emotional from start to finish. The writing is poignant and sells the messiness and depth of Quỳnh's feelings wonderfully. A happy ending (as much as an ending can be called so when you're immortal and traumatised) where love saves the day doesn't feel cheap, but relieving and earned.
