Geto has correctly identified that capitalism and sorcery as a society is flawed and abusive and unsustainable. But, much like Flat Earthers recognizing there are things wrong with the world, he fails to actual form an ideology that will effectively aide the people victimized by the flaws and abuses of capitalism/sorcery, he instead decides that he needs to enact and inspire violence against others who are similarly victimized. Watch Dan Olsen's In Search Of A Flat Earth (here is a link) and start thinking about the ways Geto and his ideology parallels real life concepts before I start killing people. If you're not gonna watch the video take these quotes
"These common anxieties are a shared coordinate that is, I think, far more superficial than we would want it to be. Because while we're all worried and skeptical about what people in power are doing, flat earthers have very very different ideas of who's in power and what they're trying to do with it. " (Quote begins at 28:12 in video)
"And while there is a shared sense of the world being 'out of whack', the diagnosis and prescriptions are very different." (30:33 in video)
#JJK#''oh he critiques capitalism'' YEAH ITS NOT HARD TO. BUT HE HAS DECIDED HE DOESNT NEED TO DO SHIT ABOUT THE FACT SORCERY AS A SOCIETY IS#ABUSIVE AND INSTEAD DECIDES HE NEEDS TO MAKE SURE SORCERY IS INHERENT TO ALL SOCIETY.#ALSO HE STARTED A CULT. AM I LOSING MY MIND.#Like okay. In terms of Beliefs there are a lot of differences. I'm not saying Suguru is actually religious or whatever but#I am saying that JUST BECAUSE HE RECOGNIZES THE WORLD IS FUCKED UP. DOESNT MEAN THERE IS VALIDITY TO THE REST OF HIS BELEIFS#especially when those beliefs include Violence On People He Deems As Inherently And Unchangably ''Other''. Like.#IDGAF he realizes sending kids to die is bad if he's just gonna say ''actually the problem is we're sending out kids who#DON'T deserve to die'' and like. Nope try again or I'll kill you#Also hot take Nanami is against capitalism but isn't as Revolutionary as some of u ppl wanna think. I don't think he has actually#Unlearned the capitalist ideas that's arent EXPLICITLY connected to money. Also is it just me or is it Weird he wants to go to Malaysia#Bc of the low cost of living and shit. Feels weird!

#i'm absolutely not alone in this but i feel that way about a lot of historical events#the philippines got legal independence from the us in FORTY SIX#for malaysia from britian it was FIFTY SEVEN!!!!!#like that is fucking crazy#i watched an elliot sang video where he said something along the lines of#to begin to truly understand the tangible effects of colonialism you have to find out how it affected your family#or something like that like that's definitely not word for word but that's the idea#he was talking to a palestinian girl who was part iraqi and remembered#being a child and seeing her mother get all these phone calls about people in their relatives' neighborhood who died#and it was just like a constant thing and she was talking about how much palestine was reminding her of that#my mom has memories of her grandma telling her about witnessing japanese beheadings of filipinos as a girl#she said they'd come down from the trees and that the bodies and heads would spasm after being separated#my mom has had nightmares about invasion even though she never lived through it. i've seen a couple people on twitter say the same#both my grandmas are older than their countries have been independent#i don't know man it's a lot to think about#me.txt

thinking about nanami who survives Shibuya.
you move to Malaysia, a beautiful house on the beach, just as you always wanted. You have two kids running around, a boy and a girl. At some point, Nanami and you decide that maybe a job would help add more spice into your lives- so you open a bakery. everything homemade and baked with love & care. Pictures of your children attempting to bake decorate the walls.
Nothing feels more right than this; You, Nanami, your two kids and baked goods.

ive said this before but it's hard being an lgbt malaysian and listening to western lgbt people freak out over things that have been our reality the entire time. i've had to come to terms with the fact that i'll likely never be able to legally transition in malaysia, will never be able to change my name or gender on documents and it will probably remain illegal for me to use public bathrooms, seek medical care, exist in public, do literally anything as a trans person there for the rest of my life. i am not happy about this and i am luckier than most having the ability to medically transition in canada but i'm always hyperaware that this can be taken away from me at any moment (and is likely to in the near future with the slow death of liberalism in canada as well), that whenever i return i'm at risk of imprisonment if i'm caught by the wrong person, and i know the reality of what life is like for people back home who do not have the privileges i do. but the thing is that even in malaysia trans people use the bathroom and exist in public and have jobs and fall in love and see the doctor and it is possible to carve out a life that is not wholly built upon despair. it's really really fucking hard and scary but we do it anyway because we have to. so it's just really hard to stomach white people in like california freaking out like it's impossible to live in these circumstances or no one else could possibly understand, sorry
#i want nothing more than to return home and be able to live in peace but my family knows it isnt safe for me#when you grow up understanding that to be lgbt means to be a literal criminal and people get caned killed imprisoned for it#but unfortunately mentioning any of this makes white people go well we should bomb you and do nato invasion because youre evil#rather than pulling themselves together and recognizing shared struggle. not always but often enough

Green Shell Semi-Slug: the researchers who discovered this species originally wanted to name it "Ibycus felis," because it often rests with its tail curled around its body, which reminded them of a sleeping cat
The Latin name of this species is Ibycus rachelae, but it's also known as a green-shelled or long-tailed semi-slug. The species was first described in 2008, and it is found only in the montane forests of Sabah (Borneo) and Peninsular Malaysia.
The term "semi-slug" refers to an intermediate stage of evolution as a snail evolves into a slug. These snails still have shells that are at least partially visible, but they have been reduced to the point where the shell can no longer accommodate the snail's whole body. There are many different species of semi-slug, but most of them have a noticeably reduced, receding, and/or transparent shell that is partially concealed beneath the mantle.
This article describes another peculiar characteristic of semi-slugs (including Ibycus rachelae):
... semi-slugs don’t just look weird, they act weird, too. They employ sharp projectiles called love darts in their courtship rituals, by shooting several of them at a prospective mate. The mate, in turn, shoots several love darts right back.
Researchers have found that if semi-slugs are able to lodge love darts into one another, the subsequent copulation tends to be much more successful. It’s thought that the mucus distributed by the love dart ensures greater survivability of the sperm
This is what the "love darts" look like (when magnified under SEM):
The tiny, harpoon-like structures are made of calcium carbonate, and they transmit certain hormones (via mucus) that help to increase the likelihood of reproductive success. Semi-slugs are not the only gastropods that use "love darts," however; they are also used by some other land snails and slugs.

Thailand has legalized same-sex marriage 🥹🌈❤️
This bill passed in the senate with overwhelming support, 130 to 4, making it only the third region in Asia to embrace marriage equality (behind Taiwan and Nepal).
I cannot overstate how much it means to me to see this kind of progress. When I think of all the lives this law will change, and how much it will likely improve the climate for LGBTQ people in Thailand, I feel really emotional.
There's still a long way to go, with same-sex relationships being illegal or heavily discriminated against in most areas of Asia. I think it might surprise some of my readers to know that men in the military who have same-sex relationships face up to two years in prison in South Korea, for example. In Malaysia homosexuality is illegal, with penalties of up to 20 years in prison.
Of course we already know that China has been heading backwards for years. Just this week a popular lesbian bar in Shanghai was forced to close its doors.
Still, this news out of Thailand is very exciting, and something to celebrate. Happy Pride everyone! 🥳

Major coordinated demonstrations took place across the world on Saturday to mark the 100th day of Israel's bombardment and military assault on the people of the Gaza Strip that have now claimed the lives of nearly 24,000 Palestinians, a large majority of them innocent men, women, and children who had nothing to do with the attacks orchestrated by Hamas on October 7 of last year.
In London, as many as 500,000 people marched on Parliament Square to demand an immediate cease-fire Gaza, condemn their own U.K. government's support of Israel's disproportionate and "genocidal" onslaught, and warn against a wider regional war that experts warn is creeping closer by the day.[...]
In Dublin, organizers of a march that saw more than 100,000 march through city streets called it the largest rally for Palestinian rights in Irish history.[...]
The crowd was filled with Palestinian flags, posters calling for an "End to the Gaza genocide" as well as makeshift washing lines, with baby clothes hanging from it, representing the many young lives lost in the conflict.
At the front of the march, four people held mock corpses in bloody body bags to represent the growing number of civilian casualties.
In the United States, tens of thousands marched in Washington, D.C. to denounce the Israeli onslaught—which has claimed over 23,000 lives, including more than 10,000 children—as well as their own government's complicity in the carnage. President Joe Biden was on the tip of many demonstrators' tongues and polls in the U.S. have shown very little support across the political spectrum for how he is handling the situation.[...]
Following the march, demonstrators left a pile of bloodied baby dolls, including severe parts, in a pile outside the White House as a message to Biden. "The blood of the over 10,000 murdered children in Gaza is on his hands," said CodePink co-founder Jodie Evans.
Meanwhile, in Indonesia, thousands gathered outside the U.S. embassy in Jakarta to condemn the ongoing "genocide" in Gaza perpetrated by Israel with the backing of the U.S. government and other Western allies.
Large protests were also held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as well as in the South African cities of Cape Town and Johannesburg. [...]
Cities in Israel were not among those holding large-scale demonstrations against the government's ongoing military campaign in Gaza. One application by Israelis for a rally in Haifa to denounce the onslaught was rejected.

Nanami baby copy cosplaying him
Fluff, no gender mentioned
Nanami was very busy as a business man, his sorcerer days were over when he moved with you to Malaysia and you had Hiromu, who is now five years old. To celebrate the carnival and surprise Nanami, you decided to make your son's costume yourself. He is now in the living room reading a book when you approach.
" Guess who is going to dress like our son ??" Kento chuckled a bit, rubbing his head a bit.
"You are going to dress as our son, our son who is turning 5?" Kento joked a bit, putting down the book.
"Nooooooo" And here Hiromu runs in front of his father laughing, showing him the suit Nanami wore when she was a sorcerer.
Kento bends down to speak to the kid, looking at the replica of his suit. He smiled, a little amused at his sons eagerness to dress like him.
"You want to dress like me huh? Like a grown up?" Hiromu nodded eagerly, smiling against his chest. He looked up at his dad with a cute, excited smile. You walk over and give your child a replica of Nanami's glasses, and the happy child puts them on. Kento chuckled and looked up at you, shaking his head with a soft smile. He stood up straight, patting the kid's head.
“Oh the glasses too?” He was amused by your extra addition to your sons outfit, the glasses really sold it. The kid still looked like a tiny, short version of his dad. It was hilarious and adorable. Hiromu turned to you, showing off the glasses. He spoke rather quietly, but loudly enough to hear.
“I look like Dad now, don't I?” As he spoke, he pushed up the tiny frames, a wide grin on his face. He looked just like his father, but short and cute.
"Yes sweety" you laugh, as the tiny one smiled proudly, crossing his tiny arms and putting on a serious expression. He was trying to look all-grown-up and professional, just like his dad. It was hard to take him seriously when he was just a small kid in a suit.
"It's your same expression!!" You laugh. Kento couldn't help but laugh too. The Kid's attempt to imitate his serious expression was surprisingly accurate. He looked down at the tiny version of himself and ruffled his hair with a smile. Hiromu protested against his hair being ruffled, fixing his now messy hair with a grumpy pout. He tried to keep his serious face, but a small smile crept onto his face as well. He looked up at his dad with a mixture of annoyance and amusement.
"So Hiro, are you happy to be in dad cosplay??" Hiro grinned widely at your question. He nodded vigorously, still trying to keep his serious expression on. He spoke up proudly, raising his chin a bit.
"Yeah! I'm gonna look just like Dad, and I'll be super cool!” Kento chuckled and ruffled the Kid's hair once again. He leaned down a bit to look at him on a more eye level.
"You'll be just like me, huh? Well as long as you don't start buying and selling stock to be a big businessman, then you're all set" he joked.

Flamboyant cuttlefish (Metasepia Pfefferi) is one of the amazing representatives of marine fauna living in the warm tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific region. It can be found off the coast of northern Australia, South Guinea, the islands of Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. Small flamboyant cuttlefish with their unusual appearance and funny movement along the seabed, resemble the wandering of small elephants, with a rather colorful and motley coloring. Metasepia is often called sea chameleons, because of their ability to instantly change their color outfit. At rest, it is covered with dark brown streaks, and when threatened, its body begins to intensively change colors and emit neon tints, and the tips of the tentacles turn red. This complex camouflage is controlled by the compression and relaxation of chromatophores. Moreover, this happens so quickly that the human eye is not even able to see all the shades and intermediate tones of color change. After all, they change their color in 300 milliseconds, that is, in three tenths of a second. Flamboyant cuttlefish are favorite objects of divers who like to photograph these amazing marine representatives. Indonesians call these mollusks a "bucket of paint" for their fabulous beauty and ability to change their shades.
Metasepias, despite their small size, only 6-8 centimeters, are quite brave predators. Even when they are scared, they will not leave their territory and will defend their favorite habitat to the end. The Flamboyant cuttlefish is most active during the day. All this time it spends, hiding in ambush, waiting for something tasty. This tasty treat is most often small fish and crustaceans.
Another distinctive feature of this type of cuttlefish is their inability to swim. They move only along the bottom, helping themselves with the strokes of wide membranes on the sides.
Flamboyant cuttlefish are one of three known poisonous species of cephalopods. The cuttlefish venom has similar lethal effects as the blue-ringed octopus toxin. This substance is very dangerous to humans. As it turns out, Metasepia contains poisons in its tissues, saliva, and mucus. However, if you leave it alone, this does not matter much. It cannot bite a person, and it is not suitable for food.
