antisemitism isnt real! because:
accept indigenous people's histories unless theyre jews
remember people are poc and minorities unless theyre jews
history doesnt start in 1949 unless theyre jews
doxxing people is wrong unless theyre jews
harassing people is wrong unless theyre jews
anti-colonialism is right unless theyre jews
proportionality doesnt make sense in defense unless theyre jews
countries can have mandatory service thats normal unless theyre jews
countries can be ethnic unless theyre jews
raping people is wrong unless theyre jews
killing people is wrong unless theyre jews
genocide bad unless theyre jews
scapegoating jews is wrong unless theyre jews
so theres clearly no reason i should be so angry.

we were eating good food after the bad blood music video came out, and then fandom somehow managed to apply the "your ship is only valid if it's canon" flop logic to rpf and it was all downhill from there.
i do wish people weren't writing about karlie's real children because that's kind of an unspoken rule of rpf to avoid kids and non public figures but like. so much potential! so much food left on the table while people squabble! FLORIDA!!!!!! dkfhgjkg
it is funny how swiftie community kinda tries to distance itself from that kind of rpf fan language and community despite the fact that we're all still doing the same exact thing but everyone has to act like the discovered the Ultimate Truth of her relationships instead of just admitting that something is interesting to them and they think it warrants conversation and art and fanwork even if its unrealistic or untrue. In its lack the fanworks that do exist feel either antiseptic and restricted by whats Respectable and True or kind of skeezy and gross (that woman who fucking published her tayvis fanfiction and it just. it felt bad.)
kaylor is a big point bc i think the kind of concerning intensity of the LSK conspiracy community would be a lot less intense if fic actually played a role but like just in general! taylor hangs out w and performs w has chemistry w so many women many of whom are already gay or bi and also are so hot and also have crazy chemistry w her! Have fun and fly free! she isnt even on this site anymore you cab post whatever!

Ignoring situations involving doxxing (which are more serious but also less common and easier to protect yourself from), the main goal of sustained harassment on here is to get you to delete your blog. You can probably keep most of your friends by adding them on discord or whatever, but the underlying logic in these cases is "you are a person who exists on the same part of the internet I use, and I want that to stop."
I reject the idea that moderation will ever be a solution to this problem, at least not without creating new, worse problems. But tumblr can and should provide users better tools for defending themselves.
Let's talk about tumblr's private blog feature. You can password-protect a blog, so that users have to enter the password before being able to see and interact with your posts. This is barely a step above deleting your blog.
You need to manually share this password with everyone you want to have access to the blog, which does not scale to a following in the thousands. You need to hope that no one ever leaks the password to your harassers, in which case your only recourse is to change the password and manually reshare it, again. This is a Bad System.
What does a good system look like? Consider twitter's private account feature. All your followers are preserved, but future followers have to ask to follow your blog. If you block a follower, they can't just create a new account and dodge the block - they're locked out. You keep your blog, you keep your following, you keep your friends, and no one outside your bubble can touch you.
There are still downsides here compared to not being harassed at all - people who don't already follow you can't see your posts - but it gives you a way to turn off the harassment spigot that can be easily reversed if/when your harassers get bored.
Combine this with a feature ideally for both private and public blogs (allowing only people you follow to reblog or reply) and I think the situation on this site improves a lot.

User hamatoanne's fic plagiarism
Hello, I’m the author of The Android, an AO3 Robot OC x Reader fic that was plagiarized by hamatoanne on Tumblr in her Aemond x Reader story, System Error. You can read my AO3 post for more info about the issue. As you can tell by the timestamps on AO3 and the screenshots of her now-deleted story, mine was posted months before hers. I didn’t want to make this public, but it appears Anne has not learned her lesson and is grasping at straws to keep her readers in the dark. She’s been deleting her stories to hide evidence of her plagiarism. I think you deserve to know who your beloved writer gets her words from.
I don’t know this fandom, but I’ve heard you guys can get pretty crazy. Control yourselves. The only one who needs to take responsibility is Anne. Don’t send hate to her mutuals. Don’t send hate to her followers. Don’t stalk or harass or dox anyone. Read through this post and form your opinion.
Tumblr media
First bunch of screenshots: A side-by-side comparison of her story (now deleted) and mine (still up and linked above). I took screenshots in advance in case something like this happened so I’d have proof if I needed it. I decided to compare the first chapter of my fic with the first part of hers. I could do the whole thing, but I’m a busy college student and I think just a quick skim of the pictures below is enough for people to see the extent of her plagiarism.
I have screenshots of her entire post, but I don’t want to make this too long to scroll through and Tumblr posts cap at 30 pictures. I’m assuming some of you have already read her story multiple times, so you’re familiar with the words. If you haven’t, then I should warn you that the fic that she plagiarized is very not SFW. I’ll let you know where the not SFW content starts so you can skip it.
On the left is my story. On the right is what Anne posted (and took down).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not SFW content starts here.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not SFW content over.
Finally, I DM’ed her. This was just before I posted to The Android on AO3 about the situation. To summarize, I wrote about how I would go about the situation and how hurt I was about a bigger creator stealing from me. I admit, I was too kind and too much of a pushover. I just wanted things to go quietly. She later replied with this and deleted her fic immediately.
Tumblr media
“I was completely stupid for not giving your credit” Why do they always play dumb? You copy that much and can’t even think to put my name there? You credit the artist but not the person who basically wrote your whole story? The story that gave you over 3k notes, so much more clout than any of your other stories has earned you? Total BS.
“I had every intention of giving credit where it was due…But I forgot” Right. Sure. Of course. If she felt guilty about plagiarizing, she would not be so shameless to accept praise like she did. I have examples of where she happily thanked people for complimenting "her work”, but didn’t want to bring other blogs into this, especially since they were none the wiser to her plagiarism. Ironically enough, someone even gifted her a badge for being a good writer the day she replied to my DM. She tagged that post “#a breath of fresh air on a horrible day”. I wonder why her day was horrible. Whoever gifted her that badge deserves their money back.
My thoughts when approaching her DMs were:
If she wants to keep up the story? Fine, just edit the post to say that it was heavily influenced by my story and leave a link to the original. I don’t mind. The readers will see that, click my story, compare the two, and think, “Hey, that’s not just inspiration! She plagiarized!” and her downfall would start from there without me having to do anything.
If she ignored me and didn’t fulfill that request, i would take matters into my own hands and expose her on her own post. Even more damaging.
In the end, she chose to delete the post entirely, getting rid of the evidence and her clout. I actually didn’t expect this outcome since I thought she’d like the clout too much, but I guess she decided this route would be the least damaging to her reputation. Everything was swept under the rug for now.
And like a fool, I said thanks and went on with my life. But I decided to keep track of her. Because while I was too cowardly to do anything, I knew there would always be someone in the crowd who would take action. And it seems like people did.
After reading the supportive comments from readers of my fic, I started to regret how lightly I handled it. I wanted to be mature even though I wanted her entire blog to fall and her reputation taken away. But I didn’t want to be a “bad person”. I wondered if I should keep pursuing the issue. I realized that my overly-people-pleasing behavior might lead her to continue her ways. I decided to speak out because others might’ve had their works taken by her and that my silence wasn’t helping.
Next is her post, now deleted (I wonder why), about how she’s been so sad and how she’s going to be deleting her old stories and starting over. I’m likely not the only one she’s plagiarized from if she’s deleting other stories. At the time, I only saw supportive replies and reblogs on it, but maybe she deleted it after people started calling her out? Idk.
Tumblr media
She’s playing the victim game pretty hard. Acting as a kind underdog even though she’s the big creator who stole from a nobody like me. I know I said on my AO3 update that people shouldn’t send hate to her (and even censored her name after she deleted her story) but I guess I’m a little happy that people sought to call her out on her shit. I wish I was as brave.
Later, a nice person (we’ll call her Bob because she asked to remain anonymous) DM’ed me directly with a kind message. After seeing this, I decided I should take action and expose all of this since Anne obviously hasn’t learned and wants to keep it all hidden. Bob confirmed that I’m not the only victim of Anne’s plagiarism either.
Bob asked that I not use screenshots of our DM’s so here is a transcription of the important parts:
“Hey! I just found out that one of your fics had been plagiarized by someone in the HOTD community. First of all, I am tremendously sorry that happened…”
(For Bob’s privacy, I won’t explain her relation to Anne. Just know that Anne has refused to message her back).
“I definitely think you should make a blog post. with side by side comparison. I am still completely gobsmacked that she pilfered your entire story word for word and changed a few things. We found evidence that she had plagiarized multiple stories. Not just yours. We found out her mermaid!aemond fic was entirely stolen as well as a few others. She has quietly deleted them and hasn't spoken on them since.”
“We surmised that she takes ‘underrated’ fics from different fandoms and changes the name and that's it. It's almost like she believed that stealing from other fandoms was going to draw less attention than stealing directly from the HOTD fandom.”
So if you noticed that one of your favorite Aemond fics is gone, now you know why.
‘But benny, she still wrote her own sentences and just changed it around to fit aemond!’
Fanfiction is transformative. You know what the source material is and who created it. You know you’re not reading a copied and pasted text with maybe some words and sentences switched around. This wasn’t fanfic. According to Google, plagiarism is defined as, “the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.” (See what I did there? I credited Google. Is it so hard to give credit where credit is due?) She copied people's work, didn't give credit to the source material, and claimed it as her own. That's plagiarism.
I wouldn’t have had a problem if she properly credited me and linked the original story. I wouldn’t have had a problem if she didn’t blatantly copy and paste the entire text and premise. I wouldn’t even require getting permission to write a story based on my fic if she had satisfied those conditions.
She’s a 27-year-old grown-ass woman with enough free time to simp over some blond guy with an eyepatch. I’m a 21-year-old college student who only posts fics during the summer and winter because that’s when school’s on break. I’m too busy writing lab reports and essays to be an active writer online. The fact that she can disrespect smaller writers so tremendously should not be acceptable. The fact that she also deceived her devoted readers and friends about her "works" is also unacceptable.
What can you do about this? To be honest, I don’t know what to do. I’ve never had to deal with this before. I want to be a good person and say, “Don’t send any hate to Anne, don’t harass her. Just unfollow her and stop supporting her.” But that obviously hasn’t taught her anything. She’ll just make a half-assed apology, maybe go on hiatus, maybe disappear, and then pop up again under another name to steal from another creator. If you have any ideas on how to deal with this, please tell us.
She can try to block me or delete her posts, but the evidence is out and the damage is done. Anything she does to hide this mess will only make it worse for her. I’d appreciate people bringing more awareness to this issue, especially if it can reach the eyes of others she’s taken from.
Thanks for reading.

I don’t want to sound like I’m asking this in bad-faith but could you please explain why criticising certain kinks like cnc, ageplay and incest-play is specifically transmisogynistic? I keep seeing posts defending ‘taboo’ kinks like that with the claim that thinking it’s gross is such and I don’t really get it?
Many people I’ve been mutuals with who’ve criticised it in the past both as IRL kink-practice and as fanfic are trans (both TMA and TME) or queer in some other way but I’ve seen this argument quite a lot recently. It’s just the implication that trans women are more likely to be into those things that bothers me if you get me when most of the criticism surrounding them usually point to white daddy dom types instead. Apologies as I’m bad at phrasing things.
it's because trans women are disproportionately targeted in "callouts," which in turn can be linked back to the fact that trans women/TMA people are already culturally perceived as sexual predators/sexual degenerates/etc even by other queer + trans people. certain articulations of a kink are able to fly under the radar when articulated by demographics for whom a socially unacceptable sexual degeneration is not already presumed -- as many others have noted, the only difference between a cishet woman calling her boyfriend "daddy" and trans girls calling one another "sisters" sexually (or similar, ygwim) is that the latter are operating within a discourse that already casts them as sexually predatory, and all sexual expression thereafter merely functions as confirmation bias. the "callouts" which circulate on this website and the scale of vitriol that they attract (doxxing, sexual harassment, social murder) are almost always for trans women (i'm not going to name names but think back on some of the biggest ones!) and almost always rely on significant actual violation of consent and boundaries -- digging out and circulating screenshots of people's private nsfw sideblogs, for example, is unambiguously sexual harassment, but never gets regarded as such, and the people who make + spread the callouts are never called to account for their participation in said sexual harassment.
"criticising [x] kink" is a bit of a rhetorical sleight of hand here, because that's not really what's happening -- there's no "critique" of a kink actually taking place, only calls to action predicated on a presumed shared assumption that xyz kink is a) morally wrong and b) indicative of harm being committed. if you said "incest kinks are wrong because x, y, and z," irrespective of whether i agreed or disagreed with you, you would be making a fundamentally different statement to that of "x person has an incest kink, and i am sharing this information on the assumption that we all agree what should be done with it." i think this distinction is necessary because it's easy to let online sexual harassment fly under the radar under the guise of "criticising," being "critical," having "critical thinking," etc etc.

There's a user going around currently reblogging/commenting on antiLO content with the intent of "digging up dirt" on people who simply read and enjoy the comic. Basically demanding the OP's of such posts to inform them of any 'stans' so they can add them to a 'list' that they absolutely do not have any good intentions to do with, along with making some very unsavory and completely unwarranted comments about the fans in general (and I don't mean the usual "lmao LO fans are weird/dumb/etc." stuff, I mean genuinely cruel wishes to have the fans of the comic doxxed/harmed/etc.) I have blocked this user for obvious reasons, and if you get a similar reblog or DM like I did from this person, I hope you'll do the same.
Tumblr media
Please do not play into this. As much as I and many others talk shit about this dumpster fire of a comic and its questionable if not outright controversial writing and messaging, none of us have any right to go after any of the fans or stans directly. At best that would just be proving to the fans who already hate this part of the fandom that we're boogeymen out to get people, at worst it would be a betrayal to our own integrity as human beings who should be capable of discussing media without turning it into a harassment campaign. Making shitposts about the media and the fandom is fine, discussing the media itself and the creator who made it within our own little spaces of the Internet is ultimately harmless so long as it's managed within reason, but deliberately going out of your way to dig up personal information on innocent people within the fandom for the purpose of ruining their life is not okay and if you ever get to that point where you're trying to rationalize going after people directly, you need to log off.

for the record, i don't think it's fair to the ex admins to look to them for how to feel about qsmp continuing because frankly they're not gonna be happy no matter how it shakes out
if the project they loved and worked so hard on falls apart because they advocated for themselves, that'll feel really shitty
if the project only improves and becomes decent to work for after they already left, that will also feel really shitty
any opinion they publicly express gets them brigaded and harassed and potentially even doxxed by one side or another
use the information available to you and think with your own brains and come to your own conclusions. don't rely on emotionally vulnerable teenagers who have been through some shit to put themselves in even more danger to tell you how to feel about if you can watch the streamers you like

We are happy to introduce you all to the Centennial Husbands' Big Bang!
We wish you a warm welcome to the Centennial Husbands Big Bang!
This is a Big Bang challenge focused around all things Dreamling (Dream of the Endless/Hob Gadling) from the Sandman comics and show, brought to you by the @mr-sadman Modteam!
Without further adue, here are all of the details!!
Tumblr media
Our stance on plagiarism and AI
We do not accept nor condone the use of plagiarism, including the use of AI, whether in writing or art. If you are caught using either, you will be disqualified from the current event and barred entry for the other events the Mr. Sadman team puts forward.
General Rules and Informations
Anyone is welcome to participate!
Fear you can’t make it yet? Sign-ups for pinch-hitters will be open later during the event!
You can sign up both as an artist and a writer!! That said, we do not want you to bite more than you can chew, be careful and conscious of the event’s schedule!
Joining the Mr. Sadman discord is strongly advised, as there will be event related channels and roles available, but not required. Please make sure to give us another reliable and quick way to get a hold of you in the case that you don’t join the server/don’t use discord often!
If you are under the age of 18, you will not be able to create explicit content for the event. As a general rule, Mr. Sadman is a 16+ server, be aware of this fact!
The Mr. Sadman Modteam is a firm believer of “ship and let ship” as well as the kinktomato (https://fanlore.org/wiki/Kinktomato). As such, and in accordance with the Server’s existing rules, we will not tolerate any discrimination and harassment in any forms whatsoever. This includes : queerphobia, homophobia, racism, content policing, hate speech, doxxing, shaming, etc.
What’s a Big Bang?
What’s a Big Bang?
Glad you asked! This is a challenge where writers come up with a 15k+ words fic and get paired with a just-as-enthusiastic artist that accompanies their written work with a piece of art! A detailed schedule spanning around 4 months will be available down this post, fear not!
15k is a lot of words, is there any other way that, as a writer, I can participate?
There is! We are offering a beta-reader partnering system as well as a Mini Bang!
What’s a Mini Bang?
This is a challenge similar to a Big Bang where you write a piece under 15k words! Do note that the Mini Bang does not come with art like the Big Bang does!
Why does the Mini Bang don’t include art?
This is the less stressful option for writers who still want to participate in the event! Less stress for the writers and none for the artists! That said, this might be revised if an important number of artists sign up!
I don’t think my Big Bang fic is gonna reach 15k, can I downgrade to the Mini Bang?
Yes! You will be able to downgrade until December 2nd, a few weeks before drafts are due and artist pairing starts!
I think my Mini Bang fic is gonna be longer than 15k, can I upgrade to the Big Bang?
Yes! You will be able to upgrade until December 2nd, a few weeks before drafts are due and artist pairing starts!
Rules and requirements
For Writers
What are the requirements for my fic?
Your fic must be an unpublished, completely new work! It needs to be able to stand on its own (meaning that sequels and crossovers/fusions are allowed, but your fic must be able to be read on its own!) and must meet the minimum word count requirement, which is  15k words. It is also strongly recommended for no parts of your work to have been already published elsewhere (even small snippets)!
It is also mandatory that you keep your work a secret - this is to assure an anonymous art claim process and is very important. If you talk about your work in any public way (this includes our discord server), your violation will be discussed amongst the mod team and could result in potential removal from the event!
Does it have to focus on a romantic pairing?
Not at all! Your fic can be platonic, romantic, neither or all of the above, as long as it focuses on the relationship between Dream and Hob!
Does my fic have to be beta-read?
While it is not mandatory, we strongly encourage you to use a beta reader during your writing process! Don’t have a beta reader already? We offer a beta-reader pairing system! Just make sure to fill in the appropriate section in the sign-up form to indicate that you are in need of betaing!
My friend and I want to co-author a fic, is that alright?
Hell yeah! We love collaboration! Simply make sure to indicate it on each of your sign-up forms (meaning that each one of you needs to fill a form)!! The word count requirement is still 15k (even if you are one, two, three or more, yes!) and keep in mind, though, that you will not receive more art because there are more authors!
Can I have a secondary pairing in my fic?
Yes! As long as the focus of your fic is Dream/Hob, go ham!
Can I write threesomes, foursomes, polycules?
Yes! As long as the focus of your fic is Dream/Hob, please do!!
Can I write RPF (Tom Sturridge/Ferdinand Kingsley)?
Yes!
What can’t I write, then?
Anything is fair game as long as it is properly tagged and/or warned for! Major content warnings (such as AO3 dictates) must also be applied properly! There is only one exception to this : work depicting real life children (such as the actors’), which is not allowed.
What if I have a fic that I’ve been working on but never posted?
You can totally use it! As long as your work remains unpublished, it’s fair game!
Can I write something for NaNoWriMo and use it as my submission?
Hell yeah!! As long as it’s unpublished and meets the word requirements!!
I’m so excited for this event that I want to write two fics, is that all right?
We never say no to more cake! Please do keep in mind that you’ll still have to respect the schedule for both works at the same time!
As the author, do I have a say in what my paired artist creates?
In short : no. While we do encourage collaboration, this is not a commission process. The artist has free reign on what they want to create that is inspired by your fic. If you can write what you want, then your artist can create what they want!
Can I already pair up with an artist friend?
Absolutely! Just make sure you tell us in the sign up form!
I don’t like my paired artist and/or what my artist has created.
While this is unfortunate, your artist has spent their own energy and free time to create their piece. To dismiss them and their efforts is plain rude. The mods will not step in and give you another artist simply because you are not pleased with your match. Your artist deserves your thanks, not your ire.
What are authors check-ins?
Be not afraid! These are mostly touch points for the modteam to make sure everyone is still on board and on schedule! That said, these are mandatory! Failure to respond to check-ins will disqualify you from participating in the current event.
What if I can’t meet a deadline?
Please make sure to inform a mod as soon as you know! Accommodations might be worked out depending on the situation. We simply ask you to be considerate to your fellow artists, it is unfair to them to back out as they had already started working on their pieces!
Where do I post my fic?
We ask you to post your story to the AO3 collection! You are free, after that, to post it anywhere else you’d like and/or prefer! There, you will also be able to embed and link to your artist’s piece(s)!
For Artists
What kind of art can I make?
Anything from traditional or digital drawing, to photomanips, fanvids, podfics, songwriting, book binding and more! We only ask you to put some effort into it, after all, your author has worked hard on their piece as well!
A few exceptions include : playlists, icons and banners. These, while being a nice and fun bonus for your author, can’t be counted as your primary piece!
How much art do I have to make?
You are required to make one piece of art! But if you are inspired, more are definitely welcome!
What are the minimum requirements for my art?
A minimum of 500px by 500px piece for visual pieces. A minimum of 2 minutes for digital pieces.
*If your art doesn’t fit within these parameters, an agreement can be reached between mod, author and artist as to what could be considered equivalent/sufficient.
How will I be able to claim a fic?
Art claims will be held from January 6th to 10th to give authors the time to complete a first draft as well as send in a summary of their work. We ask you to be readily available to answer messages during that time period as the process will be held on a “first come first served” basis. You will receive a link to the claiming form at the beginning of this period.
Can I already pair up with a writer friend?
Absolutely! Just make sure to tell us in the signing up form!
How do I get in touch with my writer?
Fear not, the mods will place you in contact with your partner once pairing is done!
What are artists’ check-ins?
Be not afraid! These are mostly touch points for the modteam to make sure everyone is still on board and on schedule! That said, these are mandatory! Failure to respond to check-ins will disqualify you from participating in the current event.
What if I can’t meet a deadline?
Please make sure to inform a mod as soon as you know! Accommodations might be worked out depending on the situation. We simply ask you to be considerate to your fellow writers, it is unfair to them to back out as they had already started working on their pieces!
Where do I post my art?
From your designated host (whether that’s tumblr, pillowfort, etc.) so that it can be embedded into AO3! We simply ask you to use the relevant tags and link back to your writer’s story!
I’m not a writer nor an artist, but I wish to help. What can I do?
You are very welcome to join us as a beta reader! Every author has different betaing needs, but betaing ranges from cheering your author on, to making sure their grammar and spelling is tip-top! This is an event-long commitment, so make sure you know this before signing up! You are also very welcome to share any relevant information about the Big Bang and join us on Mr. Sadman for all things Sandman!!
Event Schedule
Sign-ups : September 18th to October 21rst First Check-in : October 28th Second Check-in : November 18th Upgrade/Downgrade for Mini Bang/Big Bang : December 2nd Third Check-in/First Draft+Summary due : December 22nd Holiday Pause : December 23rd to January 3rd Art claims : January 6th-10th Art Pairings Masterpost : January 11th Pinch-hitter Signups : January 29th to February 2nd Fourth Check-in : February 3rd  Pinch-hitter post : February 4th Final draft : February 25th Posting dates : March 1rst to 3rd

Radqueers are a cult.
Tumblr media
I am a cult survivor, I have been one far before I was in the radqueer community. As a cult survivor, the radqueer community IS a cult. If you've never been in the community, and have only been an outside observer, it's understandable that you wouldn't realize this, but claiming radqueers are "just assholes" is a slap in the face to people like me who have been permanently traumatized by them.
Here is a commonly used model of how cults work:
Tumblr media
If you go through every single point in this, the radqueer community checks almost every one of them. People have already pointed this out many times before, however I will explain it again for people who haven't seen those posts.
(Skipping over ones that don't fully apply or that I haven't personally experienced. Most of these are pretty brief because I don't think anyone will read an entire essay for every point)
Rigid rules - radqueers force you to include everyone and everything, and never question what you're accepting lest you get labeled as "not a real radqueer" and harassed. You must accept any and all predatory relationships, or you'll receive the same treatment as "antis". If that isn't "rigid rules", I don't know what is.
Rewards and punishments - you coin a term people like, or make an "I love pro-cs" post? Everyone likes you, praises you, sends you asks telling you how amazing you are! You dare to question anything about the community? You get cast out, banned from servers, harassed, sent death threats, and doxxed.
Dependence and obedience - radqueers make their victims believe that this is the only community that will accept them. They say that every other community will hate them for their identity, and this is the only "real radinclus" community. This causes people to feel trapped there, or in other words become entirely dependent on the community for validation and support. They convince people that if they leave, or do anything wrong that causes them to be forced out, they'll have nowhere to go. This forces them into obedience for fear of being left all alone and being completely abandoned.
Deception - this one is very, very obvious. There's a reason why radqueers label themselves as "radically inclusive", "pro-consent", "pro-bodily autonomy" - they are not just saying these things because they don't understand what they mean. They're intentionally using uplifting, inclusive language that sounds really great and supportive to deceive people into joining them. This is also why they use emoji codes, so other radqueers will recognize them but people who don't know what radqueers are will be lured into their trap.
Propaganda - pretty similar to the above. They label everything as "radical inclusion" and tell people that they have to support all these things to be "truly inclusive". They make cute flags and emoji codes to make grooming, abuse, racism, ableism, and transphobia seem cool and fun, to further lead people into their trap. By definition, propaganda is "information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view". All these cutesy emojis, symbols, flags, and terms are propaganda.
Discourages access to outside sources of information - radqueers constantly say that all science, psychology, and medical information is "biased" and "bigoted". If you provide them with any information on how what they're doing is wrong, they pull out any number of excuses and then tell their "friends" how bigoted and exclusionist the source is. This makes it seem like radqueers are the only reliable source of information, and anything else is untrustworthy.
Insider/outsider doctrine - this is painfully clear with how they refer to everyone who disagrees with them as "antis". Even if you're just an outside observer, you pick up on this quickly.
All/nothing, good/evil, us/them dogma - once again, they refer to anyone who differs even slightly in opinion as an "anti" or "anti in training", and the second anyone decides to question why they're literally supporting nazis and blackface, they get labeled as an "anti" and "horrible person". They play the victim any time they get told that what they're doing is wrong, while crying and complaining about how much they're harassed and about how "mean" and "rude" anti-radqueers are.
Feeling chosen or special - radqueers very obviously convince themselves that they're so unique and special, which is why terms like transship or transhasapetcat exist. They want to seem really cool and special, and make completely normal things into obscure, "special" identities, like calling yourself translivesintheuk instead of just saying you wanna move to the UK. As someone who's been in their servers, they hoard identities like this because it makes them feel temporarily special and unique, which makes them convinced that what they're doing is right.
Guilt/manipulation - radqueers do this all the time. When someone says they aren't sure if they support something or not, radqueers immediately get all teary-eyed and upset, claiming that the person would be "basically an anti" if they decided not to support it. I've even seem someone cry and complain over being rejected by an anti-transnazi radqueer and claim that it was "ableist" that the person rejected them. Everyone defended and comforted the person who was rejected, immediately siding with them for fear of being "ableist", saying that it was wrong to be against literal nazis. This is very clear manipulation and guilt-tripping.
Phobia indoctrination - phobia indoctrination is where people in the cult make others terrified of leaving for fear of being hurt, killed, etc. As I've explained earlier, radqueers try to scare people into staying by saying that if they leave the community, no one will ever support or love them, and they'll never be accepted outside of it. People who went into the radqueer community after being anti-radqueer know firsthand how awful the harassment, doxxing, and death threats from radqueers are. People in the community who have doubts are very clearly too scared to leave, and people who don't have doubts have been convinced that no one will ever love them except for radqueers.
Anyways, I hope that this clears up how the radqueer community is a cult! Feel free to add on with your own experiences or additions, and please stop invalidating and shaming survivors.

Starting Statement
I'm staring this post off by saying this fandom is so, so unbearable, and I don't want to come off as mean, but there are people in this fandom that I, personally, cannot stand.
I won't be naming names because I don't support targeted harassment, but people in this fandom need to learn to be nicer to others because it's genuinely so annoying to see drama in every direction.
I get having opinions, and I get people tend to disagree in every fandom, but usually when you disagree, you agree to disagree and move on. I don't think I've seen this much bullshit since the DSMP era, and that's saying something.
I tend to stay away from the people in this fandom due to stuff like that. I've seen more people shit talk others behind their backs more than I've seen people agree to disagree, and that's incredibly sad. What happened to being nice? What happened to just leaving people alone? What happened to muting a topic and moving on?
I feel like we've normalized hate too much, and it's making the internet more unsafe for those who share opinions. Doxxing, hate, and cyberstalking are all becoming more and more normal, and that isn't good. The fandom's state right now isn't good.
Shipping Discourse
Now this topic I hate getting into, mostly because I've already talked about it multiple times, but I feel like I need to say something again because nothing has changed.
The shipping discourse in this fandom is rancid. It genuinely makes me want to throw up with how much I've seen of people hating on others for liking a harmless ship.
You are allowed to have opinions, but the line is crossed when you continue to shit talk ships publicly and harass people over them. And when I say you shit talk ships repeatedly, I mean you continue to post about hating something so passionately, you make others feel bad for liking said ship and feel afraid to post anything about it.
And the harassment is awful. Extremely so. It's sad to see people get chased off the internet for liking something as simple as a ship. It would be different if the ship was harmful and problematic, but this fandom has an issue with going after ships that aren't even either of those things.
There's a difference between hating somebody for liking something like Dave x Henry, than hating on somebody for liking something like Peter x Steven. One ship is problematic, the other isn't. If you want a detailed list on how they're different;
Dave x Henry; Dave sees Henry as a father figure and literally took his dead son's name to fit the role of son better, Henry abused Dave physically and mentally by experimenting on him and manipulating him while knowing Dave's past, Henry is way older than Dave, there's incest undertones given Dave's view of Henry and it would just be toxic in general.
Peter x Steven; Peter calls Steven an "asshole boss" at one point in the game, Steven made Peter into a phone guy.. and that's truly it. Plus the fact that, in the third game, Steven goes to apologize for Peter for what he's done.
See the difference? See how stupid it is to hate so violently on others for liking Peter x Steven? Or ships like that in general? Unless they're loud and proud about loving incest or problematic shit in general, just.. leave them alone. You can mute the topic and move on. No need to make several hate posts or harass them.
Again, people can have opinions and their own views on ships, but there's no need to make stuff up or say horrendous things about the ships to justify why you hate them. You are allowed to dislike ships without having a reason! And don't harass people over harmless ships either, there's just no need.
> The Difference Between Blocking and Muting
And adding onto the topic above, I believe you have full rights to mute or block, but I'd like to explain what I believe the difference is.
There isn't anything wrong with muting a topic and moving on, that's actually the recommended decision! I just find blocking a mutual or even close friends over something as simple as a ship.. stupid.
Imagine waking up one day to find somebody you believed to be your friend has you blocked, and they didn't even decide to tell you why? You'd be pretty panicked, right? Or at least confused?
Again, you have a right to do whatever you want. Block or mute, it's your decision, but if you decide to block a friend or mutual over a ship, at least tell them.
Mischaracterization
This section is going to be shortish given it isn't as important, but I still want to talk about it a bit.
I feel like one of the main reasons people hate certain ships or hate certain characters is because they see somebody talking about it, and even if that person's take is completely wrong or just being hateful to be hateful, that person might take it 100% seriously and spread it as their own opinion, which spreads even further until that character/ship is so disliked by a portion of the fandom, that others begin to flee in fear of hate.
I get having your own view of a character, and I completely understand, but there comes a line called "mischaracterization" that a lot of people cross, and it.. is honestly super annoying.
Mischaracterization in any fandom is annoying, especially if you see somebody shitting on a character you enjoy for something that isn't even true.
Also the.. infantilization of grown men is.. in my personal opinion, disturbing.
Men are allowed to wear dresses and act a certain way, but some of the things I've seen in this fandom make me want to turn off my computer, lay in my bed and stare at my ceiling for 48 hours.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the dsaf fandom has a horrible record of mischaracterization that I can even get into without this turning into an essay, so I'll keep it short.
No, Steven isn't a stereotypical, stuttery gay. No, Peter isn't an asshole who abandoned his family. No, Dave isn't a big, strong, sexy "yandere." No, Jack isn't an innocent, uwu boy who needs to be protected. And no, Dee isn't a bitch.
Targeted Harassment and Misuse of Platforms
I honestly can't believe I have to make this a section, but here I am.
I've seen people use their platforms in horrible ways, and I need to just point it out. It's disgusting and unacceptable to publicly hate on a person to your followers, knowing there are people that will go out of their way to send hate to the person you're talking about.
And I'm not talking about calling out a pedo or a groomer, I'm talking about the people bringing their own personal drama to their accounts for no reason.
You don't need your followers to back you up. Be mature about it and keep it in DMs. You are inviting hate into the discussion and you might not even get a conclusion given the fact the person you're arguing with might be more focused on the fact they're being sent hate after hate. It might even run them off the internet.
Vague tweeting isn't good either, but it's not as bad as outright posting who the person is. If you want to settle things, talk to the person yourself instead of making your followers go and harass them.
I've had people come to me in the past because the person they were talking to leaked their DMs, or leaked their private tweets. It's unacceptable and just outright hateful. If it's personal, keep it private. If it's actually something you need to tell others to keep them safe from the person, then go ahead and tweet about them!
There's a difference between personal beef and that person being a horrible person. Remember that difference and act accordingly.
Also don't take stuff out of context either to paint the person as a bad person. I've seen that happen a lot and had to go and research what happened myself, just to find out what they said didn't even happen. It's sad.
> Shit Talking Behind a Person's Back
Adding a tiny section to this one, I find talking shit behind a person's back horrible, unless that person has done something unforgiveable.
If you're private tweeting about somebody and not blurring their @, knowing people follow your priv, you're inviting people to spread it and make that person out to be a horrible person, when in reality the two might've had a fight and one of them just decided to be an asshole about it.
Stop posting private DMs on your private account. Just talk to the person instead of talking behind their back and making yourself out to be a victim. I've talked to people in this fandom who have victim complexes. Not fun.
Conclusion
I'm just going to say it. I'm tired of this fandom. I'm tired of the people in this fandom. Seeing hate after hate and people just being shitty for no reason is exhausting.
People in this fandom need to learn how to be decent human beings and stop being dramatic over stupid shit. Leave each other alone, for Gods sake. If you don't like somebody, then block them. If you don't like a ship somebody likes, just drop it. If you're fighting with somebody over personal shit, keep it private.
It's seriously sad to see people get run out of the fandom due to bullshit like this, along with large accounts either instigating or causing drama for no reason.
Grow up. Please.

Hi everyone. It's been a while—exactly a month since I last posted to this blog. How have you been?
A month isn't really all that long, but it's enough time to be able to look at everything that happened and understand it better. In the end, the whole situation (I've been calling it The Fuckening in my head) really didn't have anything to do with me. I was unlucky enough to run across someone willing to hurt anyone they could for attention, but also lucky enough that everyone who mattered to me in this fandom went to bat for me.
So I’ve decided to come back to this blog. I'll be posting about call of duty again as well as posting my writing. I also plan to blog about other fandoms (I’d already been doing it anyway); I've been getting back into rdr2, for example, and there's some writing I'd like to do for that.
There’s more context which I’ll put below the cut, but that’s the most important part of what I have to say; I often regret how long winded I can be, so the rest is just self indulgence if you can forgive it. I’ve thought a lot about this choice and I’m satisfied with my decision. I hope none of you will mind.
So, lol, things were not great outside of fandom stuff when it all kicked off, though I didn’t mention it publicly because we all know by now that asking for any sympathy when you’re the target of a mob is more likely to just get you raked over the coals harder. I’m still not entirely sure about talking about all of this, but I have a bad tendency to clam up when I really should be asking for support. So:
I mentioned briefly before the accusations started flying that I was dealing with bedbugs—turns out it was actually something else, but leading up to a doctor’s visit I was convinced I had an infestation, and I was stripping my bed every day to look for them. I had alarms set to wake me up twice a night to see if I could catch them, so I was not sleeping all that well. I couldn’t find anything, but I had no other explanation, and it was driving me fucking crazy. Post doctor visit it turns out I had a viral infection. No idea where I caught it, and nothing to do but wait it out. I had a massive, gnarly looking rash all over my body, and to add insult to injury I developed a fever that took me out for a whole weekend. (I’m recovered now but I have a nifty new scar on my hip from getting a biopsy.)
Next to that, I was having some PTSD flareups of my own. This was (mostly) unrelated to The Fuckening. Now, I understand that that might be hard to believe, given “Myka’s” claims, and I can’t make you believe me. Nor will I provide details to convince you, other than to say there were some things going on in my neighborhood that recalled a period of time in my life that was extremely unstable, and I found myself irrationally terrified to go home every day. For those of you who don’t experience the symptoms of PTSD, I think it’s appropriate to note that it isn’t just emotional turmoil; I, personally, experience physical pain in my entire body that lingers for hours, days, or even weeks after being triggered. (Everything regarding this, too, is fine now. I have a great therapist and a supportive family.)
All of this to say, I wasn’t exactly thinking rationally when I decided to leave this blog and fandom. And I regretted the decision almost instantly.
However, I didn’t want to let grief make any decisions for me, and also I was still VERY scared Myka was going to hunt down my personal information and either dox or harass me elsewhere. I think this fear was justified; it has happened to other writers in this fandom before.* So I decided to take some time to cool off and watch the situation develop without me.
I don’t think I need to get into the details—although if you’re interested in them, @fulltacs has been keeping track of the drama. Given the most recent development with the four obviously sock puppet blogs that popped up and immediately began stirring shit up again, I realized Myka probably would have done what she did with or without me. I just so happened to give her the ammunition she needed to do something REALLY big. It was pure bad luck.
(Also—and I’m sorry if this is just stirring the pot, but after everything they did to me I feel I deserve to make the accusation—I’ve suspected for a while that the two loudest blogs leading the witch hunt against me were far more involved in this farce than anyone has assumed. I have no proof and I do not want anyone to do anything about it on my behalf, leave them the fuck alone. But I will not forget the distress they caused me for a long fucking time, and the only way for me to let this go is to say my piece. So there. Done. Let that be the end of it.)
Having this hindsight, I feel comfortable coming back. I’m still very touched by everyone’s support, which in the end was louder than the harassment. I also think it’s important for people who care about fighting racism in any community not to run at the first sign of trouble, which I did, and I feel pretty sorry for.
That’s the gist of things. If you’ve read all of this, thank you for doing so!
*I was going to add a paragraph about halfmoth-halfman’s situation but decided against it. For one thing, she wants to be left alone, and for another, talking about the experiences of fans of color, particularly black fans, deserves its own post separate from my white experience, if I should even post about it at all.

You know, I get blocked a lot by genderists, and every time they block me, they always send me a me a message specifically asking why I, a “terf,” am following them (in addition to “telling me off”). But I can’t answer, because they blocked me. So I’m gonna answer here:
It’s because you made a good post. Because you said something that spoke to me, or you have lots of good opinions on many different topics, and I want to hear what you have to say. Or because I like your art. And it’s quite likely that I didn’t know you were “queer,” because I don’t obsessively vet blogs before I follow them. And if I DID know that you were “queer,” I was okay with that. Because I believe that it’s healthy and good to expose myself to the opinions of people I disagree with, so I don’t get trapped in an echo chamber. It’s quite likely that I agreed with a lot of the things you had to say.
And I’m gonna be honest, I really don’t understand why you’re messaging me when you’re blocking me. When I block people, it’s because I want to become invisible to them. Say (for example) I blocked a user because I discovered they were a neo-nazi. I know that nazis are dangerous. If I go to their messages and tell them that I’m blocking them, I’ve accomplished three things:
1: I’ve informed them of our conflict, which they may or may not have known about;
2: I’ve made it personal, therefore motivating them to obsess over it, and
3: I’ve drawn attention to my username and helpfully saved it in their messages for them, thereby making it easier for them to stalk me and/or harass me through other accounts, or even even dox me to their nazi friends.
Whereas if I simply block them without messaging them, they may not notice that I’m not showing up in their feed anymore and gradually forget about me. Which is ideal, because dangerous people hold grudges and act on them.
So if you’re messaging “terfs” before blocking them, you’re either:
A) naive about internet safety because you’ve never experienced harassment from dangerous people either personally or through a friend, or
B) simply don’t believe that “terfs” are dangerous.
And let me tell you, as a long-time radical feminist who HAS had friends who were harassed and stalked by dangerous individuals, giving them your attention is a sure-fire way to fuel their hate. Arguing with them makes their hatred worse, and you will never get the last word in because stalkers are fueled by anger. It energizes them, and they like it.
Now don’t worry, this is not a threat. If you’ve sent me a message before blocking me, I’ve already forgotten about you. I don’t have the energy to hold grudges, and I never hated you to begin with. I genuinely believe that most people I disagree with are just average people who are trying to get through their day, and arguing is usually not worth anyone’s time. I’m telling you all of this because, even though I disagree with gender ideology, I don’t want you to endanger yourself by getting the attention of a dangerous individual.
However, if you have been messaging “terfs” before you block them for years and never once experienced retaliation or been afraid of them retaliating, you should take a few minutes to really, I mean really think about why that is.
Best of luck, even though you would never wish me the same.

Well, folks, the day has finally come, I'm so angry about something, I can barely speak, let alone write. But write I will...
Here goes. I, Purv, in NO WAY, approve of Bcac's blog or her. It has come to my attention that after Bcac's account was deactivated by Tumblr and then quickly reactivated, she made this mention of me. 👇
Tumblr media
First of all, what I said I said privately in a DM. If I had wanted to offer public support, I would have. I thought my DM conversations were private, apparently not. The person I DMed with has already apologized to me for betraying my confidence. Secondly, just because I said Bcac shouldn't lose her account does NOT mean I'm cool with her or her blog. I said in DM that I didn't think Bcac should have lost her blog, but because I think everyone should have freedom of speech, in general. That's it.
But now Bcac has taken what I said privately and weaponized it to try to legitimize herself with those other than the Sam-haters and Purv-haters she surrounds herself with. And THAT I'm VERY upset about.
Bcac has toned down her blatant displays of Sam hate because she realizes she has a captive audience of Sam fans who are waiting on his every move. And she provides that for them. But let me be VERY CLEAR, Bcac has disdain for Sam Heughan. And, she welcomes people who have disdain for him on her blog. And people who have disdain for me. She regularly commiserates with and allows comments from KNOWN Sam haters. They have harassed and bullied Sam and talked sh*t about the women he dates for years.
Here's a quick sampling of MANY examples, showing Bcac talking badly about Sam and allowing others to. 👇
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Aside from the Sam-haters that Bcac welcomes on her blog, she also welcomes those who have made MY life hell for years and years. I recognize so many names from the past. People who harassed me all day and even tried to dox me. That's who flocks to Bcac's blog. Sam-haters, Purv-haters, don't be fooled thinking that's not the case. I can name names if anyone is interested in DM.
Bcac herself has talked sh*t about me privately and publicly on her blog. Here's a quick example of her making fun of me and also putting Sam down in the process. 👇
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Here she is continuing to put me down, even making fun of my eye issues! 👇
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Like I said, this is only the tip of the iceberg of Bcac and her followers mocking me. And she's toned it down significantly because she knows many of my followers now look at her blog too.
So, yes, I don't think Bcac should have had her blog deactivated, but ONLY because I believe in freedom of speech. Even for b*tches who talk sh*t about Sam and about me. And make no mistake, Bcac and her minions are b*tches. They're just hiding it better these days. Except for the blogger who shared my DM, she's not a b*tch. But I will be parting ways since I can no longer trust her. Silly me, I thought it was possible for someone to be best friends with Bcac and also be friendly with me. I should know better after 10 years in this Godforsaken fandom.
Tumblr only lets you post 10 pics, but if anyone is interested in more crap Bcac has posted about me or Sam, hit me up in DM, and I'll show you.
So, today is the day I draw the line in the sand. I don't want to ever hear Bcac's name or anyone associated with her. Why would I want anything to do with someone who puts me down? I'm not going to tolerate that. No one should. Soooo, anyone who is chummy to me on my blog, but then I get wind you're also chummy with Bcac, will get blocked. I'm done with this bullsh*t. I get it, she finds out Sam's every move and people want that info. So, go ahead and get it from her. But, you won't ALSO be able to stay on my blog. Am I making people pick sides? Absofuckinglutely. If that means I lose a lot of followers. So be it. I've decided I'd rather have no followers than two-faced people. I like Sam and I like myself. She doesn't like Sam and she doesn't like me. You can't be okay with her and her sh*t talking of me, and be okay with me. It's impossible. Simple as that.
Those of the more reasonable calm, Switzerland type personalities may not understand my choice. Those of the passionate, take a stand, have your back no matter what persuasion, will understand. Maybe it's my Italian blood, maybe, I've put up with too much betrayal and bullsh*t in this fandom. It is what it is. And what it is...is that I'll leave this post up for a few days for people to read it, and then I'll start blocking people. So, if you find yourself not being able to see my blog, you'll know why.
Again, this is not me being upset over some minor disagreement or Bcac constantly accusing me of stealing her stuff (funny, how a few days ago, SHE stole two exclusive pics I got of the Outlander cast at the Taylor Swift concert, but whatever), THIS is because she has said and says horrible things about me and about Sam. Obviously, she does it more in private now since she wants to keep her Sam fan followers. And so many eat her info up, not knowing she's secretly laughing about you in DMs with the Sam haters. I'm done turning a blind eye to it. And I want people to know how toxic she is to Sam. And to me. And that she used what I said about her blog in a very misleading way to make herself look good. "Look, even Purv thought I should have my blog back, I must be okay." Nope, don't get it twisted, sister. And the industry people in L.A. I know who know Sam personally were made aware a long time ago about all the Sam hate blogs, which means Sam was too. Those liking, reblogging, or commenting on Bcac's posts are guilty by association. JS.
For those who have supported me all these years, you mean the world to me. Loyalty is everything, so thank you. ❤️
PS. So much for not writing a long ass post. 🤷‍♀️

About 5796: Should I remind you that a 15 year old is the reason why a cancer patient who made NSFW artwork got ran off the Internet because said 15 year old spread lies and slander that the cancer patient amputated their leg for “fetish purposes” and falsely accused them of being a creep to the point where people doxxed them right down to the passwords to donation sites and they had to clear their whole Internet presence for the sake of their safety and then when the good natured people saw right through the 15 year old’s BS in the aftermath, the 15 year old ran?
Or that one time a fandom animator and artist who drew Warrior Cats and drew their selfsona who was the same age as them (she was 17 at the time she is now in her early 20’s) and shipped them with an older character. Minors as young as FOURTEEN at best interacted with or at worst, SENT NSFW artwork of feral and furry characters by the adults who were 18 and over made by the artist, all while calling the artist a zoophile and pedophile. Keep in mind that this is over NSFW artwork that the minors had ZERO business interacting with and adults sent PORN to minors.
Or the many times that minors repeatedly broke the rules when it came to 18+ spaces or “Minors DNI” labels in bios with entitlement and/or bargaining. There is a reason why most adults are harsh about this (even though they should not be acting harsh and mean they should be warning them and guiding them to spaces meant for minors), and it’s because minors are not just endangering themselves, they are endangering other minors. Plus, those adult antis that pretend to be the “good” adults? Yeah, there is a reason why people call antis predatory.
I should also remind you that teenagers can be cruel if they really, really want to. Aside from the first and second examples I gave, there is another serious one where a 14 year old girl was on Discord and interacted with an adult who was in her mid 20’s (she should know better at this point) and she was saying she was one of the “good adults” while sending NSFW ARTWORK of Cookie Run characters to said 14 year old and other minors in the Discord server. The mother became concerned after the 14 year old girl was sent to the principal’s office for harassing another girl in her class for shipping two Cookie Run characters and the mom saw her daughter’s Twitter activity and saw that she interacted with NSFW artwork despite being underage. Thankfully, she is getting the help she needs and has a therapist.
There are also underage antis just actively interacting with NSFW even with the 18+ label on the bio.
I would go on, but if I continue, this problem response would be just as long as most college essays, so I’m stopping here.
Minors, there is a reason why adults are excluding you from adult spaces and sometimes be harsh about it, because those spaces are meant for adults, and with every space and community, there is a creep or more lurking and waiting for ANY opportunity to hurt you. Now, the adults should be nicer about it and not be nasty and mean to you and just give warnings.
As a 26 year old adult, I am telling you this right now. There are adults that will label themselves as “the good adults” and if you see that, you need to run. A good adult would not be saying that they are “one of the good ones.” A true good adult would be making sure you’re safe and excluding you from adult spaces for good reason, because you’re an easy more vulnerable target. Yes, there are going to be minors with different levels of maturity, hell, I still act childish at 26 sometimes and I have a sibling who is 18 now and is much more mature than I am, but please, even if you can handle the adult content, please wait until you are 18+ to interact with NSFW spaces. It is for your own safety and decreases the risk of you getting groomed by a predator.
I already had to hear too many horror stories from the Warrior Cat fandom for instance of minors getting hurt and it became too much for me to keep seeing, so I just stopped actively looking for Warrior Cat Multi Animator Projects because chances are, at LEAST 5 of those animators will have skeletons in their closet and I would learn this the hard way by seeing a video exposing them as a creep. Same with the MLP fandom. Same with the furry community, and I left that community for that reason and the hypocrisy. I don’t want to keep hearing and seeing more of these stories piling up because minors are acting entitled to being in adult spaces even though possible creeps lurk in there and groom minors.
Posting as a response to a previous problem.

I think DTS has made fans view people, even non-public facing people affiliated with F1 as 'characters.'
I have reported a supervisor for something not anywhere near as serious as the accusations involved here are, in an industry that is not F1 but is similarly competitive to get into/move up the ranks. By the time my r we port reached the workplace gossip line, I was getting backlash from everyone - not just the supervisor involved but also other coworkers trying to show they were on the supervisor's side to give themselves better chances of promotions. Now imagine not having a bunch of coworkers against you, but also millions of rabid fans either trying to use this awful thing that happened to you as a "gotcha" moment to prove that a team they don't particularly like is evil, or as a "gotcha" moment to claim you're singlehandedly ruining the team they do like. The victim isn't a character, this isn't some fictional drama, you shouldn't be talking about grabbing popcorn to follow along. This is a real situation, and regardless of if justice is served or not now, this woman probably just lost the limited privacy she had due to media already doxxing her and will probably face the online (and sometimes even in person) harassment that this fanbase has grown toxic enough to be known for. She already likely has some trauma that she is healing from without adding that to the mix.
Exactly,
I think some fans have forgotten that there’s actual people working in F1 not just characters.
I’ve seen people reblogging things related to this being like “ooh the tea is getting spilled”, “the DRAMA”, etc
Like there is an actual victim there who could possibly see these comments or if not the specific victim, someone who has gone through something similar

Okay so since the person I called out who shall not be named immediatly blocked me when I called them out on their misinformation I'm going to post it here.
People are trying to spread that the Union was sued for defamation however this is an obviously deceitful thing to say
The amount of stupidity I've seen on Tumblr about this situation already has pushed me to my limits and unfortunatly but like...did anyone do sort of research into those claims???
Because here are the instances of the Union being sued for "defamation"
Tumblr media
"Following the publication by Solidaires Informatique and Games Workers Unite in 2019 of a call for testimony concerning sexual harassment and assault, Quantic Dream filed a complaint against the union for defamation.
In October 2021, politician George Kuzmanovic is dismissed from Ubisoft. The Solidaires Informatique section present at the company published a leaflet in reaction to his departure, stating that his presence at the company would not be regretted, and mentioning his positions on immigration and his proximity to far-right personalities. In response, the politician announced that he would be suing for defamation."
So...they got sued for trying to give voices to sexual assault victims and them criticising a far right politician for his harmful beliefs
Quantic Dreams btw isn't some fucking innocent ass company, the union is not the only one speaking up against them
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Union has never claimed that the cc's were spreading hate on purpose they were most likely pointing out how Aypierre's statement on Twitter potentially made the harrassement worse which it probably did.
The Union has never said that Quackity being doxxed was okay but instead insisted how Léa did NOT dox quackity, the people who shared his address were not admins aka the people who are getting the brunt of the hate for this.
Y'all are unbelievably dumb, so much for believing Tumblr had a more left leaning community if this is how you guys act when people rightfully call toxic workplace environnements
