[Dazai laughs, the purr becoming audible a second before he cuts it off] you'll be happier when youre not trapped on the floor in agony Chibi [he bites at the other's hair]
[Chuuya hums a bit, still mostly focused on trying to breath. He nods though, absently agreeing. He tilted his head a bit, seeming to be silently wondering if dazai had gotten it all or not, before sighing a bit. His grip around Dazais wrist is iron strong, if a bit loose.]

for the drawing ideas ; maybe emile going shopping or him planting flowers?
Oh? I’m just planting some poppies outside.
Did you know in Victorian floriography, much like roses and other flowers, the meaning of poppies differ based on the color? Red poppies mean consolation, scarlet fantastic extravagance, meanwhile the white poppies have quite the “variegated” (heh) meaning. Ranging from meaning sleep, “my bane”, and funnily enough, “my antidote.”

[After that songs also ends, Chuuya kinda just pauses in silence for a bit. Then he mumbles, quiet and rasping, and just slightly amused with fondness.] White poppy. [He sighs a little, voice even quieter as he mumbles] Milkvetch myrtle. [After a few seconds, he goes back to humming, soft and fond]
Y'all should be so proud of me. I'm being so brave. I haven't even been trying to kill myself nearly as much as I would've liked to since coming here
That being said. The cat I saw just ran away from me so I am not to blame for anything that happens

Chapter 5: White Poppies (Sleep—My Bane, My Antidote)
Eleanor Blum didn’t know what to think of this man, this Peaky Blinder devil that made all of Small Heath cower before him, this almost-stranger with his dead wife and dead stare, but she wished he’d stop showing up at the flower shop she worked in. And that he’d stop looking at her with those blue eyes of his.

Hi! I would like to ask what are the meanings of the poppy? I have read that it means imagination or creativity but in the East it means affection/love (similar to the red rose)?
Hey nanaxherhusbands!
Poppies have the following meanings in the Victorian flower language.
poppy - consolation, sleep, forgetfulness, consolation of sleep, fantastic extravagance, eternal sleep, oblivion, imagination
poppy (corn) - ephemeral charms, consolation
poppy (red) - consolation, pleasure
poppy (scarlet) - fantastic extravagance
poppy (white) - my bane(!) my antidote(!), dormant affection, sleep, my bane, sleep of the heart
poppy (yellow)
In Hanakotoba their meaning is a little different.
poppy (red) - fun-loving
poppy (white) - rejoice
poppy (yellow) - success
I didn’t find anything about their meaning in Chinese culture, but red and pink are generally considered positive colours standing for life and celebration.
I also found a page which states what you suggest, but I cannot find any other source backing up that information. If you ask the internet you will get a lot of contradicting opinions about what a poppy symbolises, which might have various reasons, but with proper sources, it is hard to figure out where and how they originated. Flowers have been given their meanings for various reasons, and they always changed after some time. It is natural for them to be associated with many different meanings and their colours changing them across cultures.
