Having one parent from Louisiana and the other descended from Irish and English immigrants is fun cause I love spicy food but my body just cannot handle it.

Example: I went out for lunch today and ordered hot and sour soup. The waiter, the chef, and the owner all came over to check on me at least once each cause I was practically sobbing into my soup cause my eyes were watering and my nose was running so bad even though I told them it was amazing.

I left a 40% tip for the trouble and a yelp review about how it was the best hot and sour soup I’ve ever had. And now I’m putting off drowning myself in milk because I know I need it but that will get the taste out of my mouth and I’m not ready for that. 😭

The two most insulting things that has ever happened to me is 1) arriving in la i got in an uber and the driver put on TAYLOR SWIFT (like hed been playing latino music, no i did not request he change it and while i like a small dose of taylor id have kept the latino music if asked)

2) while rewatching key and peele Jordan as Meegan said hey siri and my punk ass phone said yes? Which if ur not an iphone user only happens if voices are similar (i do do an uptight bitch mock tone whine like meegan but its not my every day voice or so i hope)

This is just me complaining about my white girl first world problems but everything small that could go wrong has gone wrong so far today:

Forgot to put on my rings so now my fingers feel weird

Forgot my water bottle

Chick-Fil-A forgot the sauce for my Cool Wrap but I didn’t notice until I was already gone so now I’m just eating plain chicken and lettuce in a wrap

I have a paper due that for some reason I never new existed

Its raining and I forgot my coat

Because its raining it got dark at literally 3pm instead of 4:30 so now I have to go home in the dark

I’m sick (I’ve been sick for 6 days but today’s the first day I’ve actually had to leave my house while sick)

I conquered my fear of going to the doctor only for my sickness to just be a viral infection they can’t do anything about

I think my sickness gets worse every time I use my wax pen so I’m trying not to use it but I can’t sleep without getting high (I know that’s very bad, but that isn’t the point) so I’m not sure what to do tonight

Just found out someone I was friends with in high school who I know for a fact is gay (he came out to my best friend) got married to a woman because of his super religious family and he’s only 22 years old

It's been said before, it will be said again, but it's still worth saying: the fact that art centering on straight romance is allowed to just be bad, but art with queer romance in it always has to be indicative of A Serious Problem With the Way We Tell Queer Stories makes being a queer person making queer art deeply stressful
