Discover the Endless Possibilities of White Beeswax
Introduction
White beeswax is one of nature's best-kept secrets. This all-natural, refined wax, often overlooked in the realm of raw materials, holds a range of properties that make it a game-changer for many creators. Whether you’re working in the world of cosmetics, skincare, pharmaceuticals, or even arts and crafts, white beeswax is an essential ingredient. Shree Krishna Enviro Venture Private Limited understands the versatility and benefits of this treasure, offering top-quality white beeswax for businesses and artisans alike.
From white beeswax candles to luxurious balms, white beeswax is versatile, sustainable, and eco-friendly. So why is it becoming such a popular ingredient, and what can you do with it? Let’s explore all there is to know about this incredible natural resource
What Is White Beeswax?
White beeswax is simply yellow beeswax that’s been purified and bleached. This transformation makes it free from impurities while giving it a clean, creamy color and a subtle, neutral scent. With its refined appearance, white beeswax is the perfect choice for high-end beauty products like lip balms, candles, and lotions.
Difference Between White vs Yellow Beeswax
While both waxes come from bees, yellow beeswax retains its natural color and fragrance, ideal for rustic or traditional projects. On the other hand, natural white beeswax is bleach-treated, removing color and scent, making it more suitable for the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and candle industries. Additionally, white beeswax has a higher melting point, which gives it more stability and a smoother texture.
The Process of Making White Beeswax
Making white beeswax involves a multi-step process. First, yellow beeswax is filtered to remove any debris or impurities. Then, the wax undergoes a gentle bleaching process to remove the natural yellow tint, turning it white. The result? A pure, odorless wax that’s ideal for use in products that demand consistency and purity.
Why Should You Choose White Beeswax?
The decision to use white beeswax over other alternatives boils down to several advantages. Its neutrality in color and scent makes it the perfect ingredient for various formulations. Whether you need smooth texture or a wax with a high melting point, white beeswax is the reliable choice. Additionally, it’s sustainable, cruelty-free, and much gentler on the skin, making it ideal for cosmetic and therapeutic uses.
White Beeswax uses for Skincare & Cosmetics
Whether you’re looking to enhance the texture of your moisturizer, create a rich lip balm, or develop eco-friendly packaging, white beeswax for skincare is the go-to option.
Lip Balms and Lipsticks: White beeswax for lip balm and holds the perfect consistency for smooth application, locking in moisture while providing a firm structure for products like lipsticks or lip balms.
Lotions and Creams: Thanks to its ability to add a creamy consistency, white beeswax is commonly used in skin creams and lotions, helping maintain hydration without leaving a greasy feel.
Ointments and Soothing Treatments: The white beeswax melting point is significantly higher than that of yellow beeswax, preventing ointments and balms from getting runny.
White Beeswax and Petroleum Jelly Ointment
When combined with petroleum jelly, white beeswax creates a thick, hydrating ointment perfect for treating dry, chapped skin or soothing chapped lips. The high melting point of white beeswax ensures that the formulation doesn’t get too runny, making it ideal for cold weather treatments.
How to Use White Beeswax in Candles
The allure of white beeswax for candle making lies in their clean burn, natural feel, and purity. Beeswax candles made from pure white beeswax burn more brightly and for a longer duration compared to other types of candles. These candles are non-toxic, produce minimal soot, and are a healthier, eco-friendly option for your home.
Candle-Making with White Beeswax Pellets and Blocks
Both white beeswax blocks and pellets are commonly used by candle makers. The solid blocks are perfect for those looking for large quantities, while white beeswax pellets are ideal for DIYers because of their ease in melting.
White Beeswax and Food Wraps: An Eco-Friendly Option
Gone are the days of single-use plastic wraps. White beeswax plays a significant role in the rising trend of reusable food wraps. These wraps are washable, reusable, and keep your food fresh while reducing environmental impact. Switching to natural organic white beeswax for food wraps is an excellent step toward sustainability.
Where to Buy White Beeswax: Finding a Reliable Supplier
If you’re wondering where to buy white beeswax, look no further than reputable suppliers like Shree Krishna Enviro Venture Private Limited. You can count on them for wholesale white beeswax at competitive prices, including white beeswax beads, bulk options, and wholesale beeswax blocks. Benefits of Using Organic White Beeswax

White Beeswax Price Guide
The white beeswax price varies based on several factors, including quantity, form (pellets, blocks, beads), and purity. Bulk purchases of white beeswax wholesale can bring substantial savings. However, it’s important to strike a balance between cost and quality when choosing a supplier.
Crafting with White Beeswax: A Crafter’s Dream
Crafting with white beeswax offers endless possibilities! Whether you’re making lip balms, candles, or handmade skincare, it’s incredibly easy to mold, shape, and blend it with other ingredients.
White Beeswax in Pharmaceuticals
Beyond cosmetics, white beeswax is widely used in the pharmaceutical industry to create creams, ointments, and suppositories. Its stabilizing properties and ability to lock moisture make it essential for various medical formulations.
Different Forms of White Beeswax (Pellets, Blocks, Beads)
When purchasing white beeswax bulk, you’ll find it in various forms such as white beeswax blocks, beads, and pellets. Choose the right form based on the scale and type of your project. Beeswax pellets are convenient for DIYers, while blocks are ideal for larger-scale production.
Why Quality Matters When Buying White Beeswax
Not all beeswax is made equal. Pure white beeswax should be free of additives, chemicals, or unnatural contaminants. When purchasing white beeswax for sale, always check for quality certification to ensure you're getting the finest wax available.

Why White Beeswax is the Hidden Gem Every Creator Needs
Introduction
White beeswax is a natural, versatile product that has been used for centuries in various industries. From cosmetics to pharmaceuticals, this creamy, odorless, and colorless wax is a favorite among manufacturers and consumers alike. In this blog, we’ll explore everything you need to know about white beeswax, its uses, benefits, and where to find the best quality products. Whether you’re looking for a white beeswax supplier, a white beeswax manufacturer, or simply want to learn more about its applications, this guide has got you covered.
What is White Beeswax?
White beeswax is a refined and bleached version of yellow beeswax. It undergoes a filtration process to remove impurities, resulting in a creamy white color and a virtually scentless finish. This makes it ideal for products that require a consistent appearance, such as cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
Unlike yellow beeswax, which retains its natural color and mild honey-like scent, white beeswax is neutral in both color and odor. This makes it a popular choice for industries where aesthetics and fragrance control are important. Additionally, white beeswax has a higher melting point, making it more stable for use in products like ointments, balms, and candles.
How Is White Beeswax Made?
To create white beeswax, yellow beeswax is filtered and bleached. Filtration removes debris and unwanted particles, while bleaching removes its natural yellow hue. This gentle process transforms it into a smooth, white wax ready for various uses, from beauty to craft projects.
White Beeswax vs Yellow Beeswax
Not sure whether to use white or yellow beeswax? Here are the key differences:
Appearance: White beeswax has a creamy color, while yellow beeswax is golden.
Scent: White beeswax is nearly scentless, making it ideal for perfumed products.
Applications: White beeswax is preferred in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals where consistency matters, whereas yellow beeswax is popular in natural and rustic crafts.
Why Choose White Beeswax?
Why is white beeswax gaining popularity? Its refined texture and odorless nature make it versatile for:

1. Plastic food containers, plastic water bottles, plastic wrap
This was a top thing that my friend said she changed, plastic containers! Many plastic containers are made from chemicals such as phthalates, which can interfere with the body’s endocrine system to produce adverse developmental, reproductive and neurological effects in humans and since the plastic breaks down over time it can cause the release of these dangerous chemicals into your food. Good reason for me to switch to glass. Which I did over the summer after a friend told me that information on plastic containers. I have been using THESE Beeswax Food Wraps on my glass containers and bowls. I changed in the summer to all glass (THESE glass containers. I use THESE for snacks for kids. And THESE bags replaced all our plastic bags). And I like to use THESE reusable cups and sippy cups rather than plastic.
2. Nonstick pans
Another friend who had breast cancer (in remission thankfully) told me the first thing she changed was all the pans she cooks with! Non-stick pans are the most popular cookware and also the most controversial. According to the Environmental Working Group, nonstick coatings can “reach 700 degrees Fahrenheit in as little as 3-5 minutes, releasing 15 toxic gases and chemicals, including two carcinogens.” There are non-stick pans that ARE non-toxic you just have to do your research. I found that a Cast Iron pan to be the most “green or non-toxic” we have THIS Cast Iron Pan, just read into how to properly take care of them! I am looking at getting THIS set of green pans, still doing my research.
3. Air fresheners
Like cleaning products, air fresheners help keep our homes nice, but a study by the University of California at Berkeley found that when used excessively or in unventilated area they release toxic levels of pollutants. If you use them make sure the room is well ventilated. We actually make our own! You can get the recipe HERE- DIY Room Spray.
4. Perfumes and Candles
A quick google search and I found this- Environmental Protection Agency found that potentially hazardous chemicals can commonly be found in fragrances. Causing some major side affects. Look for natural alternatives. And most candles are made of paraffin wax, which creates highly toxic benzene and toluene when burned. In fact, the toxins released from paraffin candles are the same as those found in diesel fuel fumes. YIKES!! So look for candles made from vegetable (soy) wax. And a lead-free wick. And no fragrance. I am big into oils now and don’t use candles, except for battery operated. I am a big diffuser lover!! You can read more about that HERE.
5. Fabric softeners
Softeners work by coating your clothes with a thin layer of potentially toxic chemicals, such as quantenary ammonium salts. These can cause skin irritation, respiratory problems and headaches. This information is so new to me! I have been using THESE Wool Dryer Balls for about a month and have been completely happy with the results. They come with essential oils to make your clothes smell nice! A reader told me that you can use white vinegar in the Laundry room as a natural fabric softener. … A half-cup of white vinegar when added to the final rinse, on the other hand, will soften fabrics and leave no residue at all.
6. Cleaning products
This one seems obvious. I only use vinegar and water at our home or make sure that is is non-toxic before I buy it. I also use Thieves concentrate. I LOVE that new addition to my home. Anti- bacterial too! You can see more of the cleaning products I use HERE.
7. Flame Retardants
I met a woman at a play place and we started talking. She told me what she did and what she was interested in. She had recently written an article about toxic things in our home. I asked her what the the number one thing was and she said flame retardants in your mattress or mattress pad (remember when they made flame-retardant pajamas, my grandma insisted Ella wear them!) Flame retardants use polybrominated diphenyl ethers, or PBDEsfor short. Two forms of PBDEs were phased out of use in manufacturing in the United States in 2004 because of related health threats, but the products containing them linger on. Studies have linked PBDEs to learning and memory problems and other health issues. Good idea to check your mattress label! And check before you purchase a mattress cover. I found a non-toxic mattress protector when Finn switched to his big-boy bed.
8. Shower Curtain
Phthalates are sometimes used to soften the plastic that goes in shower curtains. Phthalates has been associated with causing harmful effects in children. Opt for a shower curtain that is phthalate-free. I use THIS cloth fabric liner that is non-toxic and I wash it every two weeks.
9. Bug sprays
Bug killers should be avoided inside (and ideally outside) of your house, as researchers have linked the insecticides to neurological damage in children. Scary!! For outdoors I try to just use citronella in a diffuser, non-toxic and free of D.E.E.T or petroleum. I also make my own bug-off spray!
10. Antiperspirants
One of the ingredients found in a lot of deodorants is aluminum. Food and Drug Administration does require a warning label on all antiperspirants. Questions have been raised about aluminum in deodorants if they contribute to breast cancer (studies are in-conclusive). But that is enough of a reason for me to look for all natural deodorant. THIS deodorant it works well for my Crossfit workouts and it smells good! Kevin uses it too!!
11. Sunscreens with Oxybenzone
I would avoid these ingredients after searching online- oxybenzone, avobenzone, octisalate, octocrylene, homosalate and octinoxateI. Similar toxins in fragrances. I have used THIS sunscreen for my kids for awhile.
12. Wi-Fi Routers
Wireless routers give off electromagnetic radiation in the low frequency. You probably can’t get away from the effects of Wi-Fi (I know I can’t!) You could disconnect your wi-fi router it at night. Which is a little out of the way for me. I was talking to a woman who was diagnosed with breast cancer (thankfully went into remission). She said that she like to use a Himalayan Salt Lamp when she has her Wi-Fi on to “clean the air”. It might be a stretch, but I found this – “Combined with a light source inside the lamps, the chunks of salt produce negative ions, which yield positive effects on indoor air. Placing a Himalayan salt lamp in every room of the home can reap several health and environmental benefits. Among other things, they can: Balance Electromagnetic Radiation.” Who knows if they work, but I like the way the way they look. So I ordered one for the girls room. If anything it is a nice soft lamp for them at night. My friend did a lot of research and said that THIS Himalayan Salt Lamp. Again DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. This is just what I do. You can also find a router blanket, type cover.

The best beauty discoveries are the ones that plop into your lap, and this is exactly what happened with these peel pads by Naturally Serious.
Background
You know how “natural” is a fun buzzword a lot of companies use in their campaigns but it actually doesn’t mean anything within their products or company? I think we actually have a good egg here with Naturally Serious. Looking through the ingredients of this product then browsing their about page, I can see they’re about using natural ingredients following their “B.A.D. (“Banned, Ambiguous or Debatable”) ingredients” philosophy. More impressively, they believe in environmentally-friendly packaging and production; offsetting their carbon print which is something that a lot of other companies don’t acknowledge in their pledges to be more green.
Also noticed that the bottom of their site the name “© 2020 June Jacobs Laboratories, LLC. All Rights Reserved”, so I decided to look into June Jacobs Labs. First off, they’re not affiliated with the peace activist of the same name. Second, I don’t think there is a June Jacobs, which I was wondering why I couldn’t find a ‘face’ of the company. Well, from this very recent class-action lawsuit, June Jacobs Labs/Laboratories was founded by Peter Thomas Roth of, well, Peter Thomas Roth! So JJL is founded and run by PTR as a contact manufacturing facility and were brought up in this class-action as they manufacture, market and do product packaging on 2 PTR products that were the subject of this lawsuit for misleading claims (point 87, page 24). So in a nutshell, June Jacobs Labs is the facility where both Peter Thomas Roth and Naturally Serious are made, as well as having its own beauty line. Actually, as you go to the JJL line website, you can see a link right at the top a link to both NS and PTR.
Edited: June Jacobs is an actual person who actually has been working with natural products.
So, does this change what I now know about Naturally Serious after using these peel pads?
No. I’ll tell you why.
While extraordinary claims are NOT GOOD AT ALL, I know that even though there is a parent company and/or manufacturing facility connecting Naturally Serious, I think the NS team believes in the philosophy of good, quality, naturally derived ingredients and upholding environmentally-friendly standards. It has happened before; Origins skincare was birthed at – and still owned by – Estee Lauder, but they do responsibly source (even having their own hives for the beeswax sometimes used) and have a proactive recycling program. It is possible to be owned by another company and do the right thing, and I’d like to believe that what NS is saying on their website is held in the highest belief in their research, produce and marketing.
Now that all that’s out of the way, let’s continue.
Ingredients of note
Naturally Serious does use the cold-pressing technique for the pads, which means it doesn’t use high heat to extract the stuff you’re trying to attain (nutrients, fats, oils, etc.), sometimes using that high heat limits or damages some of that said ‘good stuff’ (e.g., have you ever boiled the shit out of broccoli and it’s a pale, sad, limp mess? It’s also had the nutrients cooked out of it too).
Rooibos: Anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate: preservative made by fermenting radish roots and leuconostoc bacteria from lactic acid Lactobacillus/Punica Granatum Fruit Ferment Extract: fermented pomegranate Sodium PCA: I’m going to put a link to Naked Chemist because it’s fascinating Colloidal Oatmeal: moisturiser to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations Pinus Cembra Wood Extract: from the wood of the Swiss stone pine tree with “resveratrol-like molecule called pinosylvin, which has abilities to:
Neutralize free radicals
Block pain receptors present in the skin
Decrease inflammation through several biological pathways“
Peucedanum Ostruthium Leaf Extract: “traditional Alpine leaf extract used for its wound healing and anti-inflammatory properties have appeared as outstanding options in this field”
Leontopodium Alpinum Extract: AKA Edelweiss, a plant extract providing antioxidant and skin-soothing benefits for skin. Edelweiss contains lignans, one of the constituents that have a natural skin-calming benefit. Strengthens skin’s barrier and helps reduce signs of sensitivity. In doing so, it helps the skin’s surface become more resistant to environmental aggressors, including some types of airborne pollutants.
The fragrance is of natural origin from fruits and herbs.
This unassuming little tub held the key to a personal annoyance. You see, For the first time in my life, I’ve had to deal with milia. What are milia? These annoying little jerks-
they’re not tumours or warts, they don’t hurt or itch, but for me, they’re just small, slightly white cysts of keratin that get trapped under the top layer of skin – and stupidly annoying. When you’re an oily-but-flaky dry skin person like me, this can happen. Mine were popping up under the inner part of my brow, forehead, cheeks (like the first photo) and a RUDE big asshole right at the edge of my nostril. And guess what? You can’t just squeeze these suckers out, you have to do some risky at home slicin’ n’ extractin’ or go to a pro to fish them out.
Thankfully, before I did anything too stupid, I was using these pads. Once in the morning, once at night. What I noticed is that a few of the smaller milium were gone and the bigger ones (including my nose one) were either disappearing or easier to dissolve from the inside via a little prick opening before cleansing with the pads [I know how confusing this might sound but I don’t want to tell you what I did in case you get the urge to do something stupid and bad]. He went, he disappeared surprisingly fast and this was the only thing I changed in my routine. It never stung or felt dry at all, it was just damn great.
What I Didn’t Like
I’ve been trying to think about what I don’t like about this product and really, there isn’t anything. The scent is nice, light and aromatic, but any stronger and it would have deterred me. I think the only bit of downside is that for $51, I’ll have to save for it and maybe only use it once a day, but I would see this as an investment.
Final Verdict
Within a month I had comfy skin with no flakiness and a massive reduction in the milia I had, with only the deeper, stubborn bumps left on my forehead. I feel that with longer use those bumps would have reduced even more. I was blown away with this little guy that this is the reason I have been so excited to come back because I wanted to share this with you. I hope that if you’re ever in a situation were you can test this product, you give it a go.
Recommended: Yes. Good for: Anyone looking for a more natural or gentle approach to exfoliating.

Egypt’s Most-Searched Questions
Museums answer questions. But who’s asking? One place that’s full of questions is Google. In Most-Searched Questions, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to answer some of the most interesting questions the world has ever asked Google. Welcome to Most-Searched Questions, Egypt edition!
What were Egyptian wigs made of?
Big hair was a sign of health, fertility and youth for both men and women in ancient Egypt. Wigs in ancient Egypt were constructed out of human hair or palm fibers dipped in beeswax. Both wigs and natural hair were also colored using dyes. Hair was shaped using products made from fats and oils, as well as human hair extensions.
Wigs were as much an accessory in ancient Egypt as any piece of jewelry. Elaborate hairstyles were a common way Egyptians tried to distinguish themselves at festivals.
What did Egyptians wear?
Ancient Egyptians wore clothes made of linen, a cloth woven from flax. By the second half of the first century BC, wool fabrics made from sheep and goat hair were increasingly popular.
Because linen doesn’t take dyes very well, and because Egypt’s harsh son quickly bleaches away color, linen was mostly worn in shades of white. However, Egyptians were skilled at creating green-colored linen from green flax. Green clothes were a sign of high status because the color would be brightest when it was new.
While cloth made from flax was relatively common in antiquity (the term “linen” is partially derived from the Latin name for the flax plant, linum), ancient Egyptians perfected its manufacture. It was woven at all levels of society and worn by rich and poor alike.
What was ancient Egyptian jewelry made of?
Egyptians wore all sorts of bling: rings, bracelets, necklaces, collars, diadems and “pectorals,” large amulet-like pendants worn on the chest “above the heart.” Gold from Nubia was the most important ingredient. Semi-precious stones — turquoise, lapis lazuli, carnelian and agate, for example — were used with glass as inserts. Tiny beads would provide further decoration, either on the surface of the piece or twisted into the owner’s hair. Men also wore jewelry, though of less variety. Collars, arm bracelets and pectorals were worn by male high officials.
What would the Pharaoh wear?
You can recognize Egypt’s kings and queens by looking for a few key symbols. First a special crown, such as the striped nemes. Pharaohs were also depicted with pointed, braided beards (even the female pharaohs!) and holding crooks (heqat) and flails (nekhakha). The crook and flail symbolized the pharaoh as a shepherd, who could treat his flock kindly or harshly.
Who built Abu Simbel?
Abu Simbel, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an ancient Egyptian complex primarily consisting of two massive stone temples. It was built by Ramses II in the 13th century BC on ancient Egypt’s southern border. It commemorates the Battle of Kadesh between the New Kingdom of Egypt and the Hittite Empire.
You can get more answers, and even ask your own questions, at Cincinnati Museum Center. Egypt: The Time of Pharaohs is open through August 18.

Paleo Travel Snacks: How to Eat Healthy While You’re On the Go
Many of us following a Paleo lifestyle slide into a comfortable eating routine. Maybe you have perfected your meal prepping. Maybe you have a reliable rotation of favorite recipes. Maybe you eat have your basic breakfast down to a tasty science, switching up the veggies and protein as desired. When you’re in your own element and have total control over your food supply, it’s easier to stay on track. But what happens when you take a road trip or travel for your job? Take it from me, you’ve got this! I travel extensively, from book tours and conferences to vacations, so I know what it’s like to face this challenge of staying committed to this way of eating. But it’s doable—and I’ve gathered the best tips and tricks for staying Paleo while traveling, all in one place.
It can be hard to eat healthy while traveling. But with a little planning and flexibility, it is possible to stay Paleo on the road. Check out this article for my tips and recommendations on the best Paleo travel snacks. #paleo #healthylifestyle #chriskresser
Five Tips for Packing Paleo Travel Snacks
As you’re packing that suitcase, leave plenty of space for the snacks. Bringing your own food gives you the best control over the situation, so that you won’t find yourself hungry and cranky, tempted by a bright drive-through sign five hours into a long road trip.
1. If Possible, Bring a Cooler
Logistically, it’s definitely easier to pack a cooler for a road trip than for air travel, but however you’re hitting the road, being able to bring one will expand your eating options considerably. If you can bring a light-weight cooler—which you certainly can do if you’re traveling by car (or bus or train), there are loads of food possibilities:
Hard or soft-boiled eggs, perfect with cherry tomatoes and avocado
Thinly sliced leftover meats to pair with Paleo mustard or mayo
Lettuce wraps with leftover meats and veggies
Pumpkin hummus*
Full-fat yogurt or kefir (though not technically Paleo, some people tolerate dairy and incorporate it into their “Paleo template”)*
Cheese from grass-fed cows’ milk
Paleo “granola bars”
Raw veggies or fruit, like carrots, sugar snap peas, sliced bell peppers, and apples
“Dump ranch” dressing to dip veggies in*
Nut butters for dipping fruits (macadamia, almond, and hazelnut butters are best)*
Baba ganoush, but if you’re on the autoimmune protocol, you’ll want to skip this one because eggplant is a nightshade*
Fruit smoothie, with coconut milk, almond milk, yogurt, or kefir as a base*
A note on the foods starred with an asterisk: If you’re bringing these liquid or liquid-like foods through airport security, they will have to meet national Transportation Security Administration (TSA) restrictions—that means packed in clear containers and in amounts that are 3.4 ounces or less. (Check with your carrier for the latest TSA guidelines.) On top of that, bringing melting ice and cool packs can get a little tricky with the TSA.
Here is one workaround: Don’t use cool packs. Instead, use a freezer-grade resealable bag with ice to keep your food cool when you leave home, and bring some extra bags. Throw out the bag of ice at security, and then replenish the ice in a new bag at a food vendor in the airport. Most vendors will charge you for cups of ice, but it’s definitely worth it because you’ll have a cooler-full of Paleo snacks to satisfy your hunger. (And it’s worth pointing out that if you’re checking your bag, you can pack extra items that don’t require refrigeration, and just bring enough on the plane to get you through your flight!)
2. Try Paleo-Friendly Packaged Food
In general, I try to avoid packaged foods, which likely contain industrial seed oils, added sugars, excess sodium, preservatives, artificial colors, and other questionable ingredients. But, traveling can be an exception to this rule. I would rather have high-quality beef jerky and some dry-roasted nuts on hand than be forced to choose between fast-food restaurants after not eating for 12 hours. The key here is high quality. Learn how to read a nutrition label and ingredients list.
Sneaky names for gluten, sugar, soy, and more are hidden in ingredient lists. Don’t ever assume you’re in the clear with packaged food without first reading the label. I’ve seen added sugars lurking in places you’d never expect, like in canned kidney beans and feta cheese!
Some of my favorite packaged Paleo travel snacks include:
Grass-fed beef jerky
Prepared meats like salami, pepperoni, and coppa
Organic lunch meats, served with mustard
Smoked salmon (make sure it’s soy free)
Nuts and seeds (dry roasted or raw are best, as most manufacturers roast in industrial seed oils)
Olives to eat with nuts, cheese, meats, and pickles (watch out for artificial colorings)
Canned salmon or tuna (packed in water or oil)
Nori chips or sheets
Pork rinds
Siete “tortilla chips” made with cassava flour
Kale chips
Individual containers of plain yogurt, kefir, or nut milks
Freeze-dried fruit
90 percent cocoa dark chocolate
Coconut flakes (these are surprisingly satisfying and filling)
Energy bars are often considered Paleo because they only contain “Paleo” ingredients like dates, cashews, and egg whites, but I would only buy these in a pinch. This type of calorie-dense, semi-processed treat walks a fine line between real food and a dessert.
3. Go Plastic Free
Don’t put your grass-fed beef taco lettuce wraps into plastic storage containers! Plastics are among the worst environmental toxins. Even BPA-free plastics have been shown to disrupt the endocrine system. (1) Ditching the plastic wrap, bags, and containers also cuts back on waste.
My favorite containers for packing food to go are stainless steel LunchBots. Also check out reusable beeswax wrap, glass mason jars of all sizes, and Pyrex glass containers with lids.
4. Fuel Up before You Hit the Road (or Consider Fasting)
I deliberately eat a big meal at home before leaving for a trip. If the trip is half a day or less, this is often enough to tide me over until I reach my destination.
As an alternative to eating before you leave (or if you didn’t have time to prep any snacks), don’t be afraid to fast! Occasional fasting was common for our Paleo ancestors, and regular intermittent fasting has been linked to many health benefits, including weight loss and improved cardiac health. (2, 3, 4)
5. Shop Smart and Get Creative
Even if you’ve packed snacks and have a good meal before leaving, eating on the road is inevitable, especially for longer trips. Typical rest stops, gas stations, or convenience stores generally don’t have much to offer, but some might sell hard-boiled eggs, cheese sticks, or roasted nuts. Thanks to smartphones and GPS, it’s easy to search for other food options beyond the fast-food places that populate most interstate exits. But instead of searching for “restaurants near me,” type in “grocery store.”
It’s not even a contest—if a grocery store is near the exit, you’re much better off shopping there than at any fast-food chain. As a bonus, you’ll get in some light exercise walking around the store.
Not every exit will have a Whole Foods, but even an average grocery store will have some reasonable options, including the Paleo-friendly packaged foods I listed above. If you’re unable to find those, or you’re looking for something different, try one of these creative meals instead:
A rotisserie chicken (remove the skin since the seasoning may contain sugar)
A shrimp cocktail ring (just skip the cocktail sauce)
A raw vegetable or fruit platter (these can be pricey, but items are conveniently already washed and sliced)
Pre-washed sugar snap peas, green beans, or other veggies
Salad bar items that are Paleo friendly, including grilled chicken, veggies, and olives
How Eat Paleo in a New Place
When you’re away from home, don’t expect to wander into the nearest food establishment and find grass-fed steak and organic, locally grown grilled vegetables on the menu. When eating Paleo in a new place, planning is the key to success.
First, whenever possible, I book a hotel with a kitchen or at least a kitchenette in the room. That way, I can brew my own tea, keep my kombucha in the fridge, and save any delicious (but large-portioned) leftovers from a nice dinner.
Next, research nearby restaurants ahead of time. If I’m heading to a book signing in a new city, I always get great recommendations from social media. Or try searching for keywords like these:
Local
Foodie
Gluten-free
Grass-fed
Organic
Pasture-raised
For a group dinner, take the initiative and suggest a restaurant from your research. If you can’t choose the restaurant, visit the menu online and call the restaurant to inquire about special accommodations. If the menu is severely limited, eat a healthy snack before you go.
Here are some other tips for navigating a restaurant while staying Paleo:
Opt for grilled, steamed, or roasted meat, steamed or baked veggies, and a simple starch like potatoes or white rice.
Avoid sauces, which usually contain sugar, gluten, and/or soy.
When ordering a salad, request dressing on the side to avoid industrial seed oils. Try asking for olive oil and vinegar instead.
If you’re gluten intolerant, always ask if a dish has gluten. Restaurants notoriously have sneaky gluten additives, in spice blends or as thickeners in sauces.
Don’t be afraid to be “that person” who asks the server a million questions. Maybe if more people kept requesting the same menu adjustments, restaurants would better accommodate Paleo customers.
Remember: You Can’t Control Everything
Obsessing over every morsel of food during a long trip can be downright exhausting. In fact, I don’t think it’s healthy to be so rigid that there isn’t any wiggle room to try the world’s best beer when you’re in Belgium or authentic, freshly made pasta if you’re in Italy. Likewise, when your flight gets delayed five hours, it might be better to buy a chef salad or have a burger without the bun than end up grumpy, “hangry,” or light-headed.
Live by the 80/20 rule—80 percent of the time, adhere to the ideal Paleo diet, but the other 20 percent of the time, loosen up and eat whatever you want (or, if you’re stranded while traveling and starving, whatever options you have on hand).
More Holistic Health Travel Tips
Eating nutrient-dense, whole foods is just one aspect of healthy living. Don’t ignore other aspects of health while traveling:
Find time to move around. Walk around the airport terminal, do chair squats on long flights, and try some jumping jacks at car rest stops. Taking a long morning walk in your new location will familiarize you with the area and is especially beneficial for your circadian rhythm if you’re traveling to a different time zone.
Stay hydrated. When flying, it’s recommended that you drink a cup of water for every hour in the air.
Make sleep a priority. It’s important to maintain the same healthy habits you follow at home. If you normally go to bed at a certain time, try to stick to your established routine as much as possible.
Meditate, practice mindfulness, and find time to relax.
Now I’d like to hear from you. Do you have any other tips on how to eat Paleo while traveling? What are your favorite Paleo travel snacks? Let us know in the comments!

Beeswax Candles - The Best Smelling Beeswax Candles
Beeswax candles are a fantastic way to clean the air in your home. This is because they contain negative ions, which bind with harmful air pollutants. They also release a light and sweet honey fragrance. These candles are great for people with allergies. Aside from their ability to clean the air, beeswax also disarms dust and other particles that can cause asthma and other breathing problems.
You can buy best smelling beeswax candles at health food stores, farmers' markets, and online. Some of them even come in jars. It is best to check the label for a product made with 100% beeswax. Pure beeswax should have a natural golden hue and a pleasant honey scent.
Unlike petroleum-based candles, beeswax-based candles burn slowly and cleanly. The wicks are often made of pure cotton. This ensures that the flame will reach the center of the wick without burning through the top. In addition, the wicks are thick enough to draw the liquefied wax up.
Beeswax-based candles also emit negative ions, which are beneficial for people with asthma. They also release no toxic or synthetic fragrances. Since beeswax is a naturally occurring product, it is hypoallergenic.
Some companies use synthetic fragrances to mask the natural smell of beeswax. However, there are many beeswax-based products that don't add any artificial scents. To enhance the scent, you can purchase candle colorants. Another option is to add P&J Trading fragrance oil to the melted wax. Alternatively, you can try a combination of essential oils. If you are looking for a sophisticated fragrance, it is best to find a 100% natural scent.
Gammy's Candles is one of the most popular brands of beeswax candles. The company produces handcrafted beeswax candles and ships them internationally. Unlike other candles, Gammy's uses only the finest quality beeswax, so it offers a very gentle and sweet aroma. The company recommends using its candles for three hours at a time.
When shopping for candles, be sure to choose one that is manufactured from the best beeswax and doesn't contain lead or metal wire. You also want to make sure that the candle has a unique shape and casing. For example, some pillar candles feature detailed engraving on the wax surfaces.
If you are looking for a more economical option, you can try Clean B candles. These are also 100% beeswax and offer up to 80 hours of burning time. Also, the candles come in an attractive copper metal stand. While they aren't the most visually appealing, the candle's aroma is pleasant, and the product is safe to use in the house.
Another excellent option is the White Beeswax Candle. These candles are lead-free and dripless. They are perfect for religious ceremonies and can be easily removed from their holders.
About us
Beeswax candles are one of the best-smelling candles you can find. They have a subtle honey aroma and are great for people with asthma and allergies. Using a beeswax candle can also help reduce stress, fight odors, and help you sleep better.
Beeswax candles come in a variety of shapes, including tapered, cylinder, and votives. These candles are made from natural beeswax and are environmentally friendly. You can purchase beeswax candles at health food stores and farmers' markets. However, you may have to search for them online.
Some candles are pure beeswax, while others use essential oils for fragrance. Before buying any scented candle, you should try a few out first to see if you like the fragrance. It is also important to find a wick that is pure cotton. Unlike synthetic wicks, cotton wicks give the candle a more controlled burn.
Another advantage of using beeswax candles is that they have a long burning time. In fact, some have a burning time of up to six hours. Beeswax candles can also help people who suffer from asthma and seasonal allergies. The gentle aroma releases negative ions, which purify the air and stop tunneling. Not only does this make the air cleaner, but it also helps reduce symptoms associated with asthma and allergies. Get more information about candles at https://mycandleplanet.com/.

Why Coconut Wax is the Game-Changer for Natural Candle Making
Introduction
Coconut wax is a natural and eco-friendly alternative to traditional waxes, making it an excellent choice for candle-making. If you're searching for coconut wax, whether for personal use or business purposes, finding a coconut wax manufacturer, coconut wax supplier, or even looking for wholesale coconut wax can be challenging. For those looking to buy in bulk, sourcing coconut wax in bulk ensures better pricing and quality. Many people wonder, "Where can I find coconut wax near me?" or "What is the coconut wax price?" Understanding the benefits and properties of coconut wax can help you make an informed decision. If you are looking for coconut wax for sale, let’s explore why coconut wax is a great choice for candles and personal care products.
What is Coconut Wax?
Coconut wax is derived from coconut oil and is sometimes hydrogenated to increase its melting point, making it more stable for candle-making. It is known for its clean-burning properties, excellent scent throw, and sustainable nature. Compared to other waxes, coconut wax is natural and does not release harmful toxins when burned.
Coconut Wax vs Soy Wax
Many people debate coconut wax vs soy wax when choosing a wax for candles. While both are natural alternatives to paraffin, coconut wax offers superior scent throw, longer burn time, and cleaner burning. On the other hand, soy wax is more affordable but may have issues like frosting and wet spots.
Benefits of Coconut Wax
There are several coconut wax benefits that make it a preferred choice for candle makers:
It burns cleaner than paraffin and soy wax.
It has a longer coconut wax burn time, making candles last longer.
The creamy white texture makes candles look luxurious.
It holds fragrance better, resulting in a superior coconut wax scent throw.
It is a natural candle wax that is biodegradable and renewable.
How is Coconut Wax Made?
Many people ask, how is coconut wax made? The process involves extracting oil from coconuts and then refining and hydrogenating it to create a stable wax with a higher coconut wax melting point. This ensures that the wax burns slowly and evenly in candles.
How to Make Coconut Wax Candles
If you’re interested in how to make coconut wax candles, follow these steps:
Melt the coconut wax slowly using a double boiler.
Add your desired fragrance and mix well.
Prepare your candle container with a wick.
Pour the melted wax carefully into the container.
Let it cool and harden before lighting.
For beginners, a coconut wax candle making kit can be a great investment to get started.
Is Coconut Wax Eco-Friendly and Sustainable?
People often wonder, is coconut wax eco-friendly and is coconut wax sustainable? The answer is yes! Coconut wax is made from a renewable resource, and its production does not involve deforestation or harm to the environment. This makes it a great choice for those looking for an eco-conscious candle-making option.
Choosing the Best Coconut Wax for Candle Making
If you are searching for the best coconut wax for candle making, look for high-quality, pure coconut wax that is free from additives. Some manufacturers blend coconut wax with soy or beeswax to enhance its properties. A coconut wax and soy wax blend can be a great option for added firmness and better burn quality.
Where to Buy Coconut Wax
Finding where to buy coconut wax or where to buy coconut wax for candles can be tricky. It’s best to look for reputable suppliers or manufacturers that offer pure and high-quality wax. Natural coconut wax can also be purchased from bulk suppliers for better pricing.
Additional Uses of Coconut Wax
Aside from candles, coconut wax is also used for:
Natural candle making
Coconut wax pillar candles
Skincare products like lip balms and body butters
Non-toxic coconut wax candles for a healthier home environment
Coconut wax wooden wick candles for a more aesthetic and soothing burn
ConclusionCoconut wax is a top-tier choice for candle makers and skincare product manufacturers due to its eco-friendly, clean-burning, and long-lasting qualities. Whether you're looking for coconut wax near me, a coconut wax supplier, or a coconut wax manufacturer, it is essential to source from reliable providers. Say Goodbye to Dry Skin! How Petroleum Jelly Transforms Your Skin Overnight
Introduction
Petroleum jelly is a widely used skincare product known for its moisturizing and healing properties. This thick, jelly-like substance has been a staple in households for generations. A high-quality petroleum jelly manufacturer ensures that the product is safe and effective for various applications. If you’re looking for a petroleum gel that provides reliable skin protection, it’s essential to choose a petroleum jelly manufacturer in India that follows high safety and quality standards. There are many petroleum jelly suppliers that provide this useful product for different applications. In this article, we will explore petroleum jelly in detail, from its uses to its alternatives and benefits.
What is Petroleum Jelly?
Petroleum jelly, also called petrolatum, is made from mineral oils and waxes. It forms a water-resistant layer on the skin, locking in moisture. It was first discovered in 1859 and has since remained a go-to product for hydration and skin healing.
Common Uses of Petroleum Jelly
Petroleum jelly is a multi-purpose product with numerous benefits. Some of its popular applications include:
For Skin: It helps soothe dry skin, cracked heels, and chapped lips.
For Hair: Some people use petroleum jelly for hair to add shine and reduce frizz.
For Lips: It is commonly used as petroleum jelly for lips to prevent dryness and irritation.
For Rash Relief: It can be applied as petroleum jelly for rash to reduce inflammation.
For Scars & Wounds: Many apply petroleum jelly for scars and petroleum jelly for wounds to help skin heal faster.

For Babies: Many parents rely on petroleum jelly for diaper rash to soothe their baby’s skin.
For Tattoos: Tattoo artists recommend petroleum jelly for tattoos to prevent dryness.
For Hair Growth & Eyelashes: Some believe that petroleum jelly for hair growth and petroleum jelly for eyelashes can help promote stronger strands.
For Wrinkles: Some individuals apply petroleum jelly for wrinkles and petroleum jelly under eyes to keep skin smooth.
Petroleum Jelly Ingredients & Manufacturing
The main petroleum jelly ingredients include mineral oil, paraffin, and microcrystalline wax. The process of petroleum jelly manufacturing involves refining petroleum to remove impurities and achieve a smooth texture. There are different types of petroleum jelly, such as white petroleum jelly and pure petroleum jelly, which ensure safety and efficacy.
Safety & Side Effects of Petroleum Jelly
Many ask, is petroleum jelly safe? While petroleum jelly is generally safe, it’s important to ensure you use high-quality products that are triple-distilled to remove harmful substances. Some concerns include:
Is petroleum jelly toxic? Unrefined petroleum jelly may contain harmful impurities, so it’s vital to use reputable brands.
Petroleum jelly expiration: Over time, petroleum jelly may degrade, so checking the expiry date is crucial.
Petroleum jelly side effects: Although rare, some may experience clogged pores or allergic reactions.
Petroleum Jelly Brands & Pricing
Various petroleum jelly brands provide quality products. Some of the best petroleum jelly brands ensure purity and high quality. The petroleum jelly price varies based on quality, packaging, and quantity.
Alternatives to Petroleum Jelly
If you’re looking for natural alternatives to petroleum jelly, options include:
Shea butter
Coconut oil
Beeswax-based balms

Petroleum Jelly Hacks & Uncommon Uses
Petroleum jelly is not just for skincare; it can also be used for:

Jack And Sally The Nightmare Before Christmas Sweater
Along with the Egyptians, the Chinese were one of the first cultures to perfect nail art. Chinese Nail polish was coloured with vegetable dyes and Christmas Dig Dug Christmas Sweater, mixed with egg whites, beeswax, and gum Arabic, which helped fix the colour in place. From around 600 BC, gold and silver were favourite colours, but by the Ming dynasty of the fifteenth century, favourite shades included red and black- or the colour of the ruling imperial house, often embellished with gold dust. Another advantage of Chinese nail polish was it protected the nails. The strengthening properties of the mixture proved useful because, from the Ming dynasty onwards, excessively long fingernails were in vogue amongst the upper classes. By the time of the Qing dynasty, which lasted from the seventeenth until the twentieth century, these nails could reach 8-10 inches long.

Making Moisturizer Unfamiliar
Moisturizer may be one of the most common human item. You can go into anybody's house whether they are black, white, big, small, young, old. Moisturizer is basic skin care and surprisingly dates back centuries.
Moisturizer was introduced at different times in many different ways. In the 1100's Saint Hildegard cooked barley in hot water, strained it, and when placed in on the face it gave off a fresh steamed feeling. Early Australians in the 1500's would skin emus', to extract this oil they would hang the skin up on tree's and have the sun melt and liquefy. Ancient Greeks used local products such as berries, milk, honey, olive oil.
My item is from Bath and Body Works which is owned by a parent company in L Brands, producing most products in the United States. This item has a huge impact on my life. I am someone that likes to be around people, and people love when you look and smell good. It leaves my skin feeling soft and replenished.
The people that are directly involved with manufacturing this item have many things to say about their time working there. Some say it is a nice place to work and others may say it is very fast placed. For the most part the workers enjoyed their time there with an overall rating of 3.8/5 stars.

Is There Microglass In Your Chapstick? A Conspiracy Theory.
Lip balm and chapstick are a necessity and if it is not within reach you’re lips will mostly be as dry as the Sahara desert. Why is it that we constantly crave the balmy goodness?
•Main Theory:
The greatest beauty conspiracy theory mainly revolves around Carmex & EOS. It is speculated that the reason we continue to purchase the product is because there is microglass, cut glass or some sort of irritant to cause your lips to become increasingly more chapped or dried out rather than hydrated. Also, it is rumored that it contains formaldehyde (an embalming fluid that preserves bodies of the deceased). The reason why this belief is spreading is because once someone becomes dependent on the soothing balm, consumers will continue to buy the item and companies will make profit. The simple explanation is pieces of glass (not clear to the human eye) create small cuts in/on your mouth that in turn damages the outer layer.
•The EOS Lawsuit:
In January 2016, Los Angeles resident Rachel Cronin filed a lawsuit against the brand EOS (Evolution of Smooth) after claiming that when it was applied to her lips, her mouth broke out in blisters & rashes. She reported her lips felt dry and compared them to sandpaper.
Damage to Skin seen here:
Likeness of this Theory: 2/5
•My Thoughts:
There could be a possible truth to this theory because some ingredients tend to cause allergic reactions. Personally I have had experiences where my lips undoubtedly feel extra dry when my lip balm is freshly applied based on the type I put on. However it was proven by dermatologists that if these manufacturers put microscopic cut glass into their product(s), they would be taken off the shelf due to standards not being followed. Rather than being helpful, some balms could be used for cosmetic purposes only and should be avoided. Irritation and sensitivity could be caused by the following:
•Salicylic Acid:
It’s in Carmex to to lightly exfoliate skin and also dries out the lips overtime. “Higher concentrations of salicylic acid, or salicylic acid not used with an emollient, may cause excessive dry skin.” Emollient is a soothing substance that seals moisture in the skin layers.
•Benzocaine:
Those allergic to the anesthetic experience increased redness and chapping after even just a few uses.
•Beeswax:
“This is often contaminated with propolis, a gluey substance secreted by bees that is a building block and repairing substance for their hives.”
•Lanolin:
An alcohol derived from wool.Lanolin also cross-reacts with another ingredient in Carmex called cetyl alcohol.
•Phenol:
A drying ingredient to kill bacterial growth.
•Other components to look out for:
-Menthol
-Camphor
-Fragrance } could cause
-Peppermint} burning
-Cinnamon } sensation
-Vitamin E
-Aloe
•Alternative:
Using a temporary balm will not cure cheilitis simplex (chapped lips) or peeling/bleeding. Instead use a specific brand that incorporates sunscreen or simply take the route of Vaseline also known as petroleum jelly creating a protective barrier on the outside layer. To be considered a lip protectant the product should contain allantoin, aluminum hydroxide gel, calamine, cocoa butter, cod liver oil, colloidal oatmeal, dimethicone, glycerin, hard fat, kaolin, lanolin, mineral oil, petrolatum, sodium bicarbonate, topical starch, white petrolatum, zinc acetate, zinc carbonate and zinc oxide.

•Technically this is a conspiracy + helpful “skincare” post so you’re welcome
Thank you to Maddox ( @maddoxstrendytopics ) and Imani ( @imaniandbotany ) for requesting this theory
