Anonymous: Idk if you've ever written anything abt this but I love the idea of some small foreign entity crawling inside my womb while I'm asleep and like. Fusing I guess? And just constantly fertilizing me to the point I'm always pumping out its kids. Makes me go straight to Niagara falls lol
I'm sure I have some permapreg like it somewhere around here, but it's always something I'm willing to explore <3
It's just an ordinary night for you, so you manage to get to sleep eventually. That's when your uninvited guest comes out to play. Maybe it was under your bed, or just outside your window, or somewhere else in your room that you don't check often enough. Whatever it is, the thing slinks out from its hiding spot on too many limbs and seeks out your available hole. It knows it has a good project on its hands - you can be turned into a good tool for it, something to pump out not-quite-humans infected with its genes.
Its body secretes sedatives that keep you fast asleep as it opens up your cunt with its tapered body, pulling itself deeper and deeper inside of you until it presses right up against your cervix. With a little extra force, it pops inside, sliding perfectly into place as it latches to the top of your womb. It quickly dissolves a portion of the inner lining so that its body can fuse to yours, and it even incorporates some of your DNA into itself so that your immune system doesn't recognize it as a threat. Within minutes, its skin and your womb flow into each other seamlessly, and it can begin its work.
It takes a little while to get your body up to speed on what the new plan is. The first round of hormones it secretes is meant to prepare its environment for its young in particular - they may be similar to humans in various superficial ways, but they are most certainly not the standard young a human should be bearing, and certainly at a rate far too fast for any human. Then, once your internal workings have been altered to its tastes, it starts releasing its seed into your womb - in fact, with bifurcated genitalia, it can simply insert a long probe directly into your fallopian tubes and bombard your unprotected ovaries with its sperm cells, fertilizing engorged eggs much faster than should be possible. In fact, new eggs are forming just for its purposes, which is normally an incredibly rare event - but, then again, this thing isn't producing humans, so human biology is mostly irrelevant.
The first cells start dividing late in the night while you're still peacefully sleeping, entirely unaware of how you've been changed. Permanently. Forever.
In the morning, you become acutely aware of the new developments when the first hints of labor pull you harshly into the waking world. You gasp and moan, clutching at your rounded, swollen belly. You're so large that you can't even adjust your position properly, and you're left to wonder, terrified, what must have happened last night for you to end up like this. You're not allowed to think much further about it, however, because the pain of a child pressing against your dilated cervix is a distraction from everything else, and you have to follow through on the urge to push before anything else can be done.
Labor is fast, in comparison to how long an active labor normally is, and it's agonizing as a result. Your body isn't used to being stretched open and pulled apart like this, much less from the inside out, so thoroughly claimed by something you can't identify - and yet, despite the pain, pleasure still washes over you, and you can't help but cum multiple times, delaying the birth as you clench hard around the inhuman child still sliding through your birth canal. Your cervix and cunt are stretched wide, wide open, torturous and euphoric at the same time, and you're tempted to linger at the crowning stage just to bask in the horrible, searing burn that comes from something just too big. Your body screams at you to bear down, though, so you do, your legs shaking as you cum again at the sensation of a newborn slipping wetly out of your newly-sloppy cunt.
As you lay back, fighting for breath, you can feel more weight gathering in your lower belly. Placing a hand on your midsection greets you with the sensation of your skin pulling tight under your fingers, an alien mass pushing out from within, filling up your womb with something you didn't ask for - and yet something that makes your skin burn with arousal, makes your eyes roll back in your head and your tongue loll out of your mouth when your cervix hugs another small body on its way out of you. The process seems to be speeding up - even as you're giving birth, another body stretches your insides.
These are just the growing pains as the organism that's taken you over makes sure its systems are in place properly. It's making sure that you can push out as many children as it commands, making sure that you're hyperfertile and loving it, making sure that the elevated pain response you're experiencing is simultaneously translated to pleasure so that it hurts and makes you cum at the same time. So far, everything is going well - but it wants to keep up the test run for a little while, pump out enough children to make up for its time outside of a human womb, when it couldn't produce young.
You're trapped in bed all day, screaming and sobbing through orgasm after orgasm as babies open you wide, an endless chain of children you can't identify, not at all human and yet with the appearances of oversized newborns. The way they can crawl immediately after birth - and climb up the walls, no less - tells you that you're not dealing with a weird human pregnancy; this is something entirely out of your wheelhouse, but you're finding it harder and harder to care as your brain learns more and more to enjoy your new position as a permanent baby factory, a sloppy hole for babies to come out of, an incubator. You're forgetting everything else you had planned for today, for next week, for the upcoming month, the rest of the year. Pleasure and pain, and this implacable urge to give birth over and over again, are quickly wiping out the desire to do anything else.
By the end of the day, things have slowed back down, but you're still giving birth at least once an hour. In between, you're rubbing your cunt, easily sliding a fist into your sloppy hole to keep yourself open for the next child that needs to come out of you. You're all too happy to stay like this, but when there's an extended pause, you take the opportunity to fall back asleep, exhausted without realizing it.
Then, you wake up, and your midsection is larger than it was yesterday morning. The morning sun says hello through your drawn blinds as you wail, squeezing out a batch of easily five or six newborns, apparently left gestating inside of you all night while the thing that took you over let you get some rest. It seems to have a good picture of the human limit, but you have no clue of any of this; all you know is that something happened to you, and it's the best time you've ever had in your life.

marvellous time ruining everything
pedro pascal x reader
tw: none
"Am I fat?"
The compelling, indisputable and unambiguous question left the Chilean actor speechless, his dark eyes darting between you and your reflection in the mirror. Your long skirt billowed around your ankles, swollen belly carrying the bloom of your everlasting love, light glinting on your earrings. Such a glowing and dazzling creature, yet heartless for letting him face a question without a proper, right answer. Femme fatale.
A bomb unleashing a war.
Pedro stopped drinking from the straw, tasting the green juice on his lips. The rays of the Sun filtered through the window curtains of Oscar's house, creating a picture of shadows and lights as if you were a famous painting, a Mona Lisa.
His heart was beating fast both from how charming you looked, glowing and shining with the child inside you and from the question still lingering inside the room, like a dark cloud threatening the weather.
"Pedro?"
"¿Qué?" He pursued his lips and started drinking his juice once again nonchalantly, even if the box was already empty. An image of his mind at that moment, one could say.
"I asked you something."
"Umh."
You swivel around to face him, hands anchored to your hips, stars shining in your eyes. The hair framing your features perfectly fell on your shoulders like Niagara's falls, your painted lips shaping that question once more. Pedro felt like a kid in trouble, his mind processing an excuse to get out of the terrible situation.
Of course you had gained a little bit of weight. It was reasonable and obvious, the opposite would have been weird and left him as a worrying mess. And, of course, it didn't mean that he loved you less. Pedro loved you, the essence of you, the feeling of you. He would have loved you in every shape and form, worshiping you like a goddess. He would have even loved you if you were a worm, as he told you countless times to answer your weird question.
However -
Pedro had learnt the lesson the hard way. A few months back before even knowing you were pregnant- which seemed like years and years ago, he had noticed your little weight gain and roundness when you complained about clothes not fitting in anymore. Inconsolable tears and sobs filled the house for the entire day and more, the ticket for an unwanted concert.
That's why that question weighed a little bit more than others. What was he supposed to do? Lie and make you happy or tell you the truth and face the aftermath of it? It sounded like the stupid games his nieces made him play sometimes, where he always ended up choosing the wrong thing. Like that time he wanted Eric the asshole to be nice and heroic but Pedro eventually let him die while falling into the void.
Your expectant eyes were still looking at him, both hands on your belly. White lies are good ones, like candies, he told himself, and the last thing he wanted was seeing you cry. And unleash a bomb.
That's why he raised his head confidently, acting lessons helping him go through it, a little shaky breath leaving his lips before actually answering. "No."
An unreadable and indecipherable expression portrayed on your face. You were a lock and he was the adventurous archeologist who had to find the code to open it. Pedro felt like Indiana Jones for a brief moment and was ready to flash you a smile to give strength to his statement, when-
Out of nowhere, like the annoying know-it-all first of the class child telling the teachers everything the others did, muppet-like Oscar Isaac appeared behind Pedro's left shoulder, uttering his non-requested opinion. "You hesitated."
The bomb exploded.

I'm very curious about your piss ideas for Citlali, if you'd share them 🙏
The more I've played this new quest, the more I've genuinely fallen for her. But for now, I'll jost hone in on the piss instead of info dumping my recent obsessions
Tiny spoiler warning, and even a slight TW for mentions of vomit (yuck)
Ahem
Biggest bladder in Natlan IMO.
When she drinks, she drinks. And since she allegedly never pukes (major ick for me is vomit, I hated that scene), all that wine has to go somewhere.
If she doesn't piss herself while in her drunk meditation state, she certainly dose once she's passed out somewhere more private.
Like, holy smokes she drinks a lot. I'm surprised she didn't mention needing the bathroom in game.
Due to her odd circumstances when drunk, she's actually never been caught by any bystanders having an accident. But there have been a few accounts from close friends who've seen her rush outside of the bar to spray harder than Niagara Falls
I would genuinely pay money to see her hold to full capacity and then let it all go. I think she'd be able to pee for 3 minutes straight at least
Okay, sorry, those are all the horny thoughts. Let me share some less clouded headcanons
When she's sober, she gets pee shy.
She doesn't want people to think that she's a grandma who can't control her bladder, so she'll often chose to hold it rather than admit she needs to pee. Which because of her...feats, this is a feasible approach!
You bet that this combines with her eccentricities and reclusivness which leads her to holding way too long and inadvertently leads to the exact scenarios she fears
Has probably used an invisibility illusion to take an emergency public piss in an alley somewhere
Citlali has awakened something in me. I like her a lot. In fact, it's because I like her so much that all this brainrot came about. I'm sure once she becomes playable I'll have plenty more to add. I haven't finished this version's quest yet, so I might even get more than I already have!
It sucks that I hate building characters in Genshin. The enemies might level gate me from experiencing more Citlali and the Masters of the Night Wind

Skill of the Week: Survive a Plunge Down a Waterfall
An important part of manhood has always been about having the competence to be effective in the world — having the breadth of skills, the savoir-faire, to handle any situation you find yourself in. With that in mind, each Sunday we’ll be republishing one of the illustrated guides from our archives, so you can hone your manly know-how week by week In a classic scene from the 1993 movie The Fugitive, Richard Kimble (Harrison Ford) appears to be trapped in a drainage tunnel; Deputy Samuel Gerard (Tommy Lee Jones) is approaching and a dangerous waterfall looms behind. Gerard of course believes that the fugitive is trapped; a plunge down that waterfall is surely a death wish. And yet Kimble does what everyone knows he’ll do: he dives right off and survives. While he doesn’t have safe form, and appears to flip over once or twice no less, it is indeed possible to survive a fall like that — especially with improved technique. Just last month, in fact, a man survived a 170-foot plunge over Niagara Falls. The reason folks perish when they fall into water from a significant height is because the speed of the fall combined with the surface tension of the water makes it akin to landing on concrete. But with a waterfall, the force of the water coming down breaks some of that tension and makes for a “softer” landing. That said, it’s still a highly dangerous endeavor. Colliding with rocks and drowning from not being able to get up to the surface in time are just a couple of the potentially fatal risks involved. So, never attempt for fun, but if you find yourself in a situation where you’re unavoidably about to tumble down a waterfall, utilize the above tips to increase your chances of survival. Like this illustrated guide? Then you’re going to love our book The Illustrated Art of Manliness! Pick up a copy on Amazon. Help support independent publishing. Let's Talk #TheLoudHouse: Season 7 Final Thoughts
After a prolonged delay, the show's seventh season was overall decent.
For my final thoughts on Season 7 of The Loud House, feel free to keep reading. There will be spoilers.
The seventh season was overall decent, with a mixture of good and bad episodes. It continued the show's trend of balancing out stories between Lincoln and his friends as well as those involving his sisters, their friends, or the whole family.
It also had the show's first multi-part arc in the form of the Road Trip episodes. It was a fun storyline with the family going out of Royal Woods and traveling throughout the country. The arc allowed them to go places they might have normally not visited, such as Niagara Falls, the White House, and Route 66. The only downside was the finale, where the Louds go to Great Lakes City yet mostly avoid the Casagrandes until the last few minutes.
It was also the show's shortest season, with only 38 quarter-hour episodes within 20 half-hour blocks rather than the usual 26. This might have had something to do with the two films which came out during and after the season: Netflix's The Casagrandes Movie as well as the Paramount+ Original Film No Time To Spy.
Both productions presumably took up the missing blocks, as each ran the equivalent of six quarter-hour episodes. The former served as the spin-off's postscript, while the latter was Bentley Griffin's final appearance as Lincoln, long after being replaced halfway through this season with Sawyer Cole.
Despite the shorter episode count, this season still had a lot of stories that rarely involved the Louds themselves. It included episodes where Rusty and Morpheus (Lincoln and Lucy's respective friends) clashed with one another, Liam and his Mee Maw got rich, and even the older sisters' partners.
On that note, there were several good episodes.
Force of Habits: It affirmed Gavin as Leni's boyfriend and featured a rare interaction between him, Bobby, and Sam.
Party Fowl: This belated crossover with The Casagrandes has Sergio visit Royal Woods and wreak havoc with the Loud pets. It also serves as a follow-up to the latter group's past outings.
Doll Day Afternoon: From the Road Trip arc, it revealed the origins of Mr. Coconuts while also showing a rare glimpse into the family's past.
Leave No Van Behind: It expanded upon Vanzilla in a great story between Lynn Sr., Gramps, and Lana.
Twas the Fight Before Christmas: The latest holiday special expanded the Loud family by revealing Lynn's brother Lance and his own family (nicknamed by fans as the Loud Cousins) whom all happen to have names starting with S.
Said holiday episode also helped the show finally dethrone the original Rugrats to become Nickelodeon's second longest-running Nicktoon by episode count. Both it and The Fairly Odd Parents are still the second and third longest-running by length, respectively.
As to how is that possible, The Loud House was able to surpass both of their respective episode counts due to never having gone on hiatus. By contrast, both of those shows briefly stopped production (but were not technically canceled) during their long runs.
When it comes to the season's worst episodes...
Pranks Fore Nothing: A mostly dull adventure with Lori (and briefly Luan) at Fairway that best represented the show's difficultly in making exciting kid-friendly stories set within a university.
Bye Bye Birthday: While being the rare episode where a family member got older, with Lucy now being 9, it would have worked better if her spell was just a bad dream.
Fluff and Foiled: The Really Loud House episode "The Chore Thing" did a better take on the premise of Lincoln not wanting to do his chores.
There Will Be Mud: A lackluster parody of The Beverly Hillbillies involving Liam that has less of an ending and more of an abrupt stop.
Love Me Tenor: Of this season's episodes centering around Lincoln and his friends, this was the weakest by focusing on Gus and his singing in an underwhelming Season Finale.
If there were nitpicks to consider with the season, it would be Nickelodeon's bizarre scheduling. At one point, an entire week of premieres was delayed by several months. When they decided to finish airing the season, rather than spread out the remaining episodes over two weeks, Nickelodeon aired all of them within a single week so they could start airing Season 8 the following week.
Of what has aired of Season 8 so far, it changed up the status quo yet again by having Lori move back to Royal Woods but now living next door to the family in Mr. Grouse's garage. It now allows Lori to show up more often as opposed to contriving her way back home.
As for what to expect next on the show, following No Time To Spy, an hour-long Halloween special is expected to air this fall. In addition, the family will return to Europe in the form of a trip to London, which may or may not bring back a certain character from the first movie.
There is also the possibility that the former special will feature the long-awaited reveal of Lucy's eyes, as a storyboard of said moment leaked this past Spring.
Regardless of what happens next, the show should continue to get better and better.
The Loud House airs on Nickelodeon and streams on Paramount+.
Until next time, thank you for reading!

Meeting Trish Stratus & Lita during the Niagara Falls Comic Con (June 10th, 2023)
Yes, I met Trish Stratus for the first time AND Lita for the second time on Saturday !! In fact, this trip to Niagara Falls was planned a long time ago as a part of my sabbatical in Canada. I was very excited because it was also the first official schedule of Team Bestie since their match at Wrestlemania 39 !
The trip from Toronto was very smooth, as well as the organization for the entrance of the attendees (I arrived at the venue at 9:30 AM). The problems began when we started to wait in line for the autographs and selfies sessions. The staff was asking us to wait in a ‘snake line’ ; as a result, many people didn’t know where the lines would start or finish. It was very confusing, to say the least. There was also a different line for people with VIP passes and priority ticket holders ; even though the normal line was at capacity, the staff still let them enter, causing frustration and more waiting. This was the only flaw though, because everything went out pretty well during the day.
The first person I went to meet was Trish : she was super nice !! She said ‘Hello, nice to meet you!’ and asked me my name for the autograph ; as she was signing, I told her that I was from France and she started to speak French a bit ! Her accent was very cute, if I may add ! I then explained that I was studying English in order to get a promotion at my job, and she asked me what I was doing for a living. She then surprised me by telling me that my English was actually quite good, and we kept on talking when she asked me my opinion about living in Toronto. We took the selfie picture and I gave her my letter ; she thanked me by holding my hand. I said that I would see her later for the Op and she HUGGED ME. I was so overwhelmed that I forgot to take the autographed picture while leaving her booth, so she had to give it to me ahaha It was so unreal, because even though the line was very long, she still took the time to have a real conversation with me. She had a way of making every person feel special... She is simply amazing !
After that, I quickly grabbed my lunch and started to get in line for the Photo Op I had with both Trish & Lita. Like in every Photo Op photoshoot, you have to be quick and efficient. Sweet detail : before the picture, Amy stroked my back to calm me 😢 . Once the picture was taken, I said my goodbyes and left. I didn’t have the time to register what happened because I had to get in line for the last time of the day for Amy !
In this particular case, the waiting was bearable ; I noticed that the lines were generally less longer than with Trish (the “local wrestling legend” effect?). Cute story : the Kenz was there ! She was in a bag near to Amy’s feet. Amy only took her out once, but I think the Kenz was napping the rest of the time. Another cute story : Amy’s agent during this event was a French woman ! She found out when she heard my accent while I bought the combo I wanted. Anyway, I went to Amy, introduced myself and told her that it was the second time we met, to which she replied, “Really? It’s nice to see you again!”. I told her that I was French so she asked me what I was doing in Canada ; I explained to her the same I did with Trish. I admitted that I felt more comfortable than in 2017 because my English was better, and she happily said “it’s ok, also because we are among friends, right?”. We took a picture together and I gave my other letter to her ; she complimented the origami envelope I did for it and put it in her bag (she told me that she would read it in the evening). She wished me good luck for my studies and we said our goodbyes. Our whole interaction really warmed my heart.
As a conclusion, I would say that this day was probably one of the best in my life. Lots of waiting but lots of emotions and a good spirit in general. Canadian wrestling fans are very funny and passionate, it was a pleasure to talk to some of them. I am very proud of being a fan of such gracious, kind and beautiful women. If you have the opportunity to meet them, you should definitely go, it is truly worth it.

Not sure why I never posted these but I was in Niagara Falls with a friend for the eclipse back in early April.
The falls were WAY more spectacular than I thought they'd be! Like the American Falls (on the left in the second pic) was by far the biggest waterfall I've ever seen in person...until you look a few feet to the right and see the Horseshoe Falls that utterly dwarfs it to insignificance 🤯
Key note though if you ever visit: Stay on the Canadian side. It's way cheaper and you can see way more of the falls. You can't even see the American Falls while in the US really.
We also saw the much smaller Eternal Flame Falls on our way south trying to avoid the clouds during the eclipse. It was a nice short but muddy/wet hike. Like barely 30min. The flame is from seeping natural gas from all the shale in the area.
We did eventually come up to some patchy bits of sunshine around when totality was going to happen but in the last 5 min a thin cloud got in the way. You could still see the sun through it and during totality you could see the black void in the sky with a ring of light around it...but I didn't have the heart to tell him that he missed out on seeing the ungulating corona that you could see if the cloud wasn't there.
The horizon on lake Erie did go full sunset and back within a few minutes in the middle of the day, it got super dark and cold, the birds stopped chipping and frogs started croaking like mad instead which is always, well, eerie. I really love that apocalyptic feeling that an eclipse in full totality gives you 🌚🎇🥰 It's a mix of dread, panic, and excitement of seeing the natural world go bizarre for a few minutes. Nothing like it. When the light reverted so did the animals. I imagine it must be really confusing to them.
I will say that the Baily's beads effect was less painful and more spectacular to see with the cloud there. Like the brightest diamond or the biggest flashlight you've ever seen...so there's that.
Of course the day before and the day after the eclipse there wasn't a cloud in the sky 🌞
The next one to pass into the contiguous US won't be for another 20 years (Aug. 23, 2044) and will only hit two states, MT and ND but I'll definitely be there if not into Canada to get my 3rd one in!

Day 19 - Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré to Québec – 38 km
Last night I stayed at Motel Deblois. It was a small but clean room with a comfortable bed and enough room for my bike. Recommended.
Before attending mass in the basilica, I climbed the 28 steps of the Scala Santa (holy stairway), built in 1891.
I spent the morning wandering around Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré, the oldest pilgrimage site in North America. The basilica is both gigantic and stunningly beautiful. The first church was built in 1658 and has become famous for the miracles performed here. The town and buildings around the basilica could use a little love. Church lawsuits and corresponding payouts have caused some deterioration and closures near the basilica. COVID made matters worse. None the less, it's still pretty amazing.
I found my personal connection. My 9th great-grandfather, Louis Guimond, was carved into the wall of the basilica. He was the recipient of the first miracle at Ste-Anne-de-Beaupre. I also found a plaque showing the land that he owned in 1658.
I inquired about a credential and learned that you must register before arriving in Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré to be recognized as a pilgrim @ [email protected]. There was plenty of information related to the basilica and local tourism, but very little about the rich history of the town and surrounding area, mildly disappointing.
I discovered a stained-glass window of polish pilgrims (on the right), from home, Detroit.
I finally met other pilgrims. Four people from Ottawa, Denis & Jeannette and another couple. Denis and his wife had completed 5 Caminos and three walks across Québec. They walked from Ottawa to Montréal, Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré to Gaspé, and on this day had finished their 18 day walk from Montréal. In total they have walked over 5,000 km, so far. Wow! They also told me that they used a group Chemin du Sanctuaire (https://www.chemindessanctuaires.org/) to find low-cost accommodations.
The ride back to Québec City took me through Chateau-Richer. It was a nice ride through history with buildings, homes, and farms dating back to the 1600s. The town placed interesting historical signs along the trail, tracing seigneuries back to the original land tenants.
I passed Montmorency Falls. At 83 m high, they are 30 m higher than Niagara Falls. The ride to Québec was an absolute pleasure. The rain stopped and I had a 25 km/h tailwind. I rode in high gear the whole way, while yesterday I could only ride in low gear for most of the day.
I returned to Québec, a walled city and World Heritage Site, founded in 1608. The sun had come out making it enjoyable to walk around the old town.

Here is a guide on when to visit Chitrakoot Falls and how to plan your trip.
What is the best time to visit Chitrakoot Falls?
1. Monsoon Season (July to October) – Best Time Monsoon season is the best time to see Chitrakoot Falls in all its glory. If you plan to visit during this season, make sure to book group flight tickets in advance as this is the busiest period. Travel agencies often offer discounts for groups, making the visit affordable.
2. Winter Season (November to February): Pleasant Weather Winter offers a different yet delightful experience at Chitrakoot Falls. The water flow is less strong than in the monsoon, but the cool weather is ideal for sightseeing and exploring the nearby areas. If you want a quieter visit without the crowds of the rainy season, winter is a great option. Ida, a 60-year-old from Germany, was my longest cellmate. We shared a cell for a month. I didn’t know it at the time because she wouldn’t tell me, but she was in for burglary and theft. I found this out after I got home and did some online investigating out of curiosity.
Other than some interesting conversations, Ida and I weren’t very compatible. She was up at 7:00 every single morning, which felt like the middle of the night for me. At least she tried to be quiet while I was sleeping, though she couldn’t always help it. Sometimes, you just have to cough, sneeze, or flush the toilet, which was louder than Niagara Falls.
One thing that drove me as crazy as her constant chatter (I’m the type that only likes listening to people I really care about) was her endless pacing back and forth. Sometimes I didn’t mind, but other times it made me feel smothered, even though I’d rather see a cellmate than hear them. When both people are on their bunks, you can’t see each other. But with her pacing for hours at a time, it felt like I had even less space and privacy. The only time she was on her bunk was when she was asleep or when I was on the toilet, but I wasn’t about to sit on that cold metal can all day just to keep her still!
Ida really stressed me out a couple of times. If I didn’t block the air vent enough, cold air would blow onto my upper bunk. After fighting with her about this numerous times, I finally threatened to break her hand if she moved the cardboard I’d placed to block the vent. We agreed we didn’t have to like each other, but we did have to respect each other, especially when it came to sleep. So, we kept trying to be quiet when the other was asleep, though she wouldn’t talk to me for a few days. I understood she was upset, but holding a grudge seemed silly.
In the end, Ida came to realize I was serious, as she put it. Another older woman, Julia, was sharing a cell with a loud-mouthed girl named Maria, who was 30 and in for drugs. We agreed to switch, so Julia would go in with Ida, and I’d go in with Maria. But I quickly wondered if I’d made a mistake. As I lay there, wishing Maria’s non-stop talking would just shut up, I wondered how Ida was doing with Julia, who was in for writing phony prescriptions.
The next day, while Maria was in court, a DO asked if I’d go in with Julia because she and Ida weren’t getting along. Instead, I suggested we just switch back, and we did.
When I returned to the cell with Ida, she told me that Julia snored like crazy, which drove her nuts even when she was awake—much like barking drives me crazy. After giving Julia her bunk and moving to the top, Ida realized I wasn’t kidding about the cold draft up there.
Ida and I stayed together until a few people rearranged the whole pod for reasons I can’t begin to fathom, and I ended up with 44-year-old Marilyn, who was in on drug and prostitution charges.
Marilyn was one of those good girls gone bad but was very nice and easy to get along with. Unlike most inmates, she had loving, caring parents. She’d just hooked up with the wrong guy one day, and he led her down a bad path. He got her into drugs, and she eventually started hooking to support her habit.
She was a great cellmate—polite and considerate. We laughed at each other’s jokes, and she slept a lot, so I often felt like I was alone. Unfortunately, Marilyn and I were only together for ten days before she was released.
Then came 29-year-old Nancy, who was almost as crazy as Melinda, though smarter. She wasn’t a bad singer, and she had a great body—nothing but skin, bone, and muscle—but her face looked mean. She was in for drugs and assaulting a cop, which she loved to brag about, as much as she loved playing with herself while I was on my bunk. She wanted to play with me too, but I declined. I just wasn’t attracted to her. Nancy was so moody she made even my sister, one of the moodiest people I knew, seem calm. Her moods would swing rapidly—one minute we’d be having an intelligent conversation, the next she’d be crying, then laughing, then furious. Eventually, it all came to a head.
It started with her bleeding at the wrong time of the month. She was convinced she was having a miscarriage, even though her pregnancy test had been negative. I tried to comfort her, reminding her that stress could make women irregular. But she snapped at me over and over, until I’d had enough.
“Don’t take your frustrations out on me!” I yelled.
Then she started bashing me, calling me lazy for being a homemaker and accusing me of using Tom, who worked hard. She even claimed she recognized him from a time he supposedly picked her up in Mesa, thinking she was a hooker, when all she wanted was a ride (Tom and I laughed about this during our next visit) because we both knew it was bullshit.
“Tom has the lowest appetite of any man I’ve ever known,” I told her. “And even if he didn’t, why would he go all the way to Mesa for a piece of ass? And isn’t it nice how Tom gets to relax on his days off without having to do cleaning or laundry? That’s because Miss Lazy here does it for him. So don’t be telling me stuff you know nothing about!”
That’s when she threatened to yank me off my bunk and “show me the true meaning of the words shut up.” My first instinct was to fight, but I knew she wasn’t worth getting in trouble for and losing my visitation and commissary rights. So I kept my temper in check, knowing I’d probably lose the fight anyway.
Next, she demanded I give her everything from my journal that mentioned her name, but I refused. I also learned never to tell anyone in jail I was keeping a journal. People guilty of certain crimes, or those who had something to hide, could get pretty paranoid.
I asked Chavez, the DO on duty that evening, to pull me from the cell, and she did. I traded Nancy’s erratic moods for taunts through the vent, but it was the lesser of two evils. I had to deal with Myra, Mindy, and Peaches shouting at me through the vents unless I had my radio on. Peaches was just a follower, going along with Myra and Mindy, both child molesters. Those two were particularly paranoid about being written about, for obvious reasons—they were the scum of the earth and knew it. Nancy had yelled out their dirty deeds while we were cellmates, and because I was with her, they thought I was involved. Personally, I didn’t care what anyone was in for, as long as they respected me. But these were the kinds of people you just wanted to strangle. I’d rather have been in a cell with a mass murderer than with child molesters!
After about a week of screaming at me, and realizing ignoring them wasn’t going to work, I started airing out Myra and Mindy’s dirty laundry, telling the whole pod what they were in for and then some. Sure enough, Myra broke down and begged me to stop, promising to stop screaming at me in return. I decided that if she kept her mouth shut, so would I.
By early March, I had been alone for almost two weeks when 46-year-old Teresa came to join me. Though chubby and shorter than me, the Hispanic woman had pretty eyes with thick, dark lashes that didn’t need mascara.
Teresa was there because her stepdaughter had accused her of molestation. We got along well, but after just a few days together, she moved to a larger cell, which she preferred. Some people felt claustrophobic in the smaller cells.
After Teresa left, Silvia, a 21-year-old in for theft, moved in with me. While she was sweet, she wouldn’t stop talking. It seemed most inmates were talkaholics, but at least she admitted it upfront. I guess some people felt like there was nothing else to do in jail but chat.
After a week and a half, Nancy left the dorm, much to everyone’s delight, and I asked to move into the cell she had left, which was my favorite in the pod. It was the smallest, darkest cell, more out of the way than the others, and it was also warmer in there.
Unfortunately, Silvia broke out in a rash and had to be put in a cell by herself in case it was contagious. She was also on restriction. At first, the DO wanted to move me next door, but I protested, letting her know how much I hated the bigger cells. So she moved me in with 39-year-old Charlotte instead.
The second the door closed behind me, I knew I’d made a mistake. Although Charlotte slept most of the four hours I was with her and didn’t say or do anything threatening, she grossed me out. When she did wake up, she coughed up spit all over the place. It was disgusting.
I told the DO I was so desperate to get out of that cell that I would take the bigger cell after all, with Teresa and Nancy. I knew I could move back out in a day or two, and I did. Charlotte left, and I moved back to my favorite cell, which would be my final move.
Only Teresa and Nancy were in the big cell during my brief stay, and I was shocked at how much Teresa had changed. She adapted to jail life remarkably fast. She had been tearful and quiet, but now she chatted happily. It turned out she was also an ungrateful, selfish user, despite everything I had given her and helping her adjust to life inside.
Nancy was one of the nicest, quietest cellmates I’d ever had. She was a good listener too. I don’t remember her exact age—maybe mid-thirties. She had been a security guard at the courthouse before her arrest. While she wouldn’t discuss her charges, I later learned they were child-related, just as I suspected. Most people in Ad-Seg were in for child-related charges, often with high-profile cases.
In my favorite cell, where I’d spend the rest of my time, 18-year-old Jamie, in for drug charges, arrived to spoil my peace after a few days. She was more Melinda-like than any other cellmate I’d had—she wouldn’t shut up, couldn’t sit still, and seemed delusional. Like Melinda, Jamie was convinced demons were pinning her down and telling her to do all kinds of evil things.
After I’d had enough of it, I decided it was my turn to bully someone out of a cell as I’d been bullied before. But before I had the chance, Jamie did me the favor of asking to move to a bigger cell. I took advantage of this and convinced a DO, who didn’t know her as well as they knew me, to move her. I told Jamie to sprinkle water on her eyes to make it look like she’d been crying over feeling claustrophobic.
My second-to-last cellmate was Tiffany, a 26-year-old in on drug charges. She and I were both night owls and compatible as cellmates, but she too wanted to move to a bigger cell, so she did.
My final cellmate was Misha. Misha was my age and in for manufacturing. She arrived in M Dorm with two others, and I lucked out by getting her. Misha was nice, quiet, and sane. One of the other women was a major beggar, and another, who limped around on a cane, was incredibly loud and bald. We called her Baldilocks.
Misha was the perfect cellmate because all she did was sleep. When she was awake, she was quiet and mostly kept to herself on her bunk. We were together until the day I left.

Gambling Addiction: This is my story
Today is the first day where I decided enough is enough. Throughout the past 2 years I've probably lost millions of dollars. I've had several bank accounts close on me from too many in and out transactions. I've devastated my family beyond repair. The final payment for the Disney Cruise was coming due on the first week of November, but of course, I didn't have money to pay it. Thursday night, I won about $2,000 and within the matter of less than 24 hours it went straight back into the tables. I'm tired of putting myself and my girls through this period of ups and downs, highs and lows. Enough is enough. Today is the day I wipe my hands with gambling, put my foot down, and NEVER go back to it.
My gambling addiction started ever so innocently. At 21 years old, I felt on top of the world. I was finally legally able to drink and enter into casinos. This was so exciting to me because I no longer had age restrictions and could LEGALLY do the things that I had already been doing since I was around 19 years old. Weekend after weekend my mom would take me to the casinos, often times I would gamble and gamble until I only had a few hundred dollars left in my account. During these times in the casinos, my best friend (who lives in North Carolina) introduced me to the mother of all evils, fish tables. She was telling me how she would put in $50 and walk away with $500. This seemed almost like it was too good to be true. I started off joining all of the Facebook groups that I could to enter into these underground "casinos" and play the fish tables. It all seemed so confusing to me but after a while I got better at it. A few months passed and sure enough I was playing every morning, afternoon, and night. I just couldn't get enough of the game. Whether I was winning or losing I just couldn't stop.
After about a year of playing these fish table games for the first time ever I hit for $10,000. "This is great" I thought to myself, "this is going to be a life changing amount of money". I started envisioning myself taking my daughters to Disney, paying off my car, erasing all of my debt but I just couldn't stop. Within the matter of a week I too, lost the $10,000 and had just pennies in my bank account. Not only did I lose the $10,000 but I also lost every dollar of my check. Determined to get it back, I would take cash advances off of my credit cards, go on every cash advance app I could think of, just to try and get it back. The big back hole I was digging for myself only got bigger and darker.
Fast forward, I'm not 3 years into my gambling addiction. Just about 3 months ago I had my bank account in the high $7,000s purely off of gambling. With this money I started planning a trip to take my girls to Niagara Falls, I planned on again paying off my car, I planned on investing the money. But did this stop me? No. I continued gambling until I had nothing but cents left again.
When I was happy, I would gamble. When I was depressed, I would gamble. When I was stressed out, I would gamble. When I was lonely, I would gamble. When I had family conflicts, I would gamble. When I had a rough day, I would gamble. Gambling was the only coping mechanism I had known for the past 3 years.
I knew I was at my breaking point because just a few days ago I was looking up things like "what happens when you die", reading over the Reddit posts of people that were just as depressed as I was. I was contemplating taking my life but I kept thinking about my kids. I kept thinking about what they would do if I was gone, I was thinking about how I would never live to see them graduate, I was thinking about all of the trauma they've been through in their short lives already. They don't deserve that and I couldn't stomach the fact of putting my children through anymore heartbreak.
I went from exercising 2 times a day, to not exercising at all. I went from being in the high 100s to being in the high 200s all within the course of 3 short years. I've destroyed trust within my family. I've stolen to have more money to gamble and lose. I've lied to my daughters about not gambling. I've given them promises of false hope. Every attempt that I made to stop it once and for all, I always ended up back at square one and right into my same habits. I even went as far as to install Gamban and within the matter of 24 hours I found a way around it and deleted the software off of my phone.
Sitting here now, I have $1 in my bank account and I'm feeling worthless but you know what? Life is what you make out of it, and how you come back from your failures. The great thing is that I'm still young, I'm 28 years old, I have my whole life ahead of me. Money can and will always be made again. I'm giving myself another chance at life starting today. Today is the first day for the rest of my life. Gambling takes away so much more than just your money. Gambling takes away your sanity, sense of self, confidence, decision making skills, and literally alters your brain.
Looking forward to the future, I am planning on taking my girls to Disney World in March. I will not let them down this time. Every day I'm going to document how I feel, just for therapy to release my innermost deepest thoughts. I never want to feel this low again in my life, I won't allow it to happen. My daughters are literally counting me. If no one else believes in me, I know they will always have hope in me. Everyday I will work and commit to making a better life to myself. I'll slowly gather up all of the pieces and make myself whole again. Just for today, I will not gamble.

He was sentenced to two years in Kingston penitentiary on each charge, the terms to run concurrently. "There doesn't seem to be very much use putting you any- where except where they have complete supervision," Magistrate Fraser commented.
Grandmason was then taken to St. Catharines by Detective D. Brown to face a charge of stealing an automobile owned by P. C. Band on March 15th.
On September 15th, 1933, Grandmason broke out of the local prison where he was awaiting his return to the Ontario Reformatory to complete a term of not less than three to twenty-one months imposed on a breaking and entering charge n August of the previous year. He fled to the United States and a few weeks ago broke out of jail at Hazelton, Pa., where he was allegedly awaiting trial on a charge of having stolen a car. Returning to Canada he managed to evade the police until the night of March 17th when he was nabbed by Detective George Hughes, Motorcycle Constable Harry Foster while slumbering on the chesterfield in a Stamford home.
