Dissecting the Watcher's story & characters
⚠️ BIG EDIT ⚠️ I want to share a much, MUCH more compelling reading of the DLC's primary ending, courtesy of @characteranalysisthethird. You can find it in this reblog, spoilers of course.
I've seen a number of people claiming that the Watcher DLC has no story and that the slugcat has no characterization, but I definitely think it's there.
(SPOILERS FOR THE WHOLE DLC!) There are no spoilers for the secondary ending until about halfway down, where there is a warning.
Tumblr media
Adventurous...
Tumblr media
Since this post gets a bit meandering, I will spell out the general framework of the story here:
The Watcher is a shy, lonely individual who desperately struggles to find companionship after their childhood was cut short. They will go to great lengths to achieve this connection.
Timid mouse
"And through the middle of it all, a lonely lost slugcat trying their best to outlast the ravages of a warped world."
Why are they called the Watcher? It's due to their nonconfrontational, withdrawn demeanor. This is immediately apparent in the intro dream:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
When Watcher's parent steps up to fight the aggressive slugcat, Watcher's sibling joins in. But Watcher just hides away, afraid to confront the danger. It's unclear if their family survived the tussle, but they never reunite again. Watcher's shy demeanor has severed them from their family.
Time passes and Watcher grows a bit older, wandering around in what seems like a futile search for their family. Here, they meet Spinning Top, the child Echo.
A desire to bond
Within the DLC's story, youthfulness is tied to a fear of isolation & loneliness.
Spinning Top has been lost & drifting for a long time. When they ascended, they feared the loss of connection to their old life and their loved ones. So they remained on world, searching for a sign that their loved ones still miss them.
This desperate pursuit has led them to travel across reality for eons and eons. By the time Watcher meets them, Spinning Top is now combing through places that have no relation to their life. Spinning Top won't find any sign of grief or remembrance in Coral Caves or Rusted Wreck, so why are they drifting along these pointless locations?
Spinning Top's loneliness and persistence arose because, as a child, they lacked the experience of maturing and could not handle the radical acceptance required to ascend. They are scared to accept the truth: their childhood has come and gone. Their loved ones eventually moved on and also left the world behind. Spinning Top is the only one holding onto this long-defunct family.
Shadow reflecting radiance
Watcher and Spinning Top are very similar characters. Both are lonely children that have been severed from their parents and siblings, and wish to revive the childhood that was ripped away from them. They're desperate to rekindle some kind of connection.
Throughout the campaign, Watcher continually searches for Spinning Top because they're the only individual that Watcher has seen who could bring a greater connection than chomping, fleeing, or stabbing. They even give Watcher the gift of infant godhood!
These childlike characters both find companionship in each other. In fact, Watcher's companionship is what gives Spinning Top the strength to return to the location of their actual memory, and confront the truth of their loneliness.
"All my mothers and fathers and crechemates who went along without me… Do they note my absence? I've traveled from the furthest future to the very seed of our past, and I see no evidence. Only echoes and strays. Aloof. Alone. Afraid."
Spinning Top accepts that it is best to grow up and move on, and so they disappear, finally ascending for real. Watcher, however, does not seem to learn the same lesson from this journey.
I NO LONGER AGREE WITH THIS READING! Instead, I believe that the ending shows Watcher having accepted their isolation in the same way that Spinning Top did, which is why they're content... and alone. I discovered this reading courtesy of @characteranalysisthethird, and you can find a reblog of it here.
Tumblr media
While they may seem happy playing with toys, it's still a symbol of juvenility. Despite everything that has happened to them, they still embody a desire to recapture their lost childhood.
And now, Watcher is alone once more. Soon, they will seek out a new companion.
Ripplespace as a symbol of isolation
Before I discuss the second ending, I want to talk about Watcher's abilities and the symbols they embody.
The ripple-world that Watcher is (accidentally?) transported to by Spinning Top is a continuation of the aching, drifting nature of these two characters. They are unable to stay in place for long, constantly seraching for a sign of connection.
Watcher's "gift" of invisibility is a clear extension of their characterization. They tackle threats by hiding away, slipping past unnoticed. As their Ripple level rises, the cloak begins pushing Watcher further out of their typical plane of reality, creating tears into a wholly different plane. And when they reach the (as of now) maximum Ripple level, Watcher is fully pulled out of the material plane and into Ripplespace. Here, they are truly alone except for the primitive, gnawing voidspawn.
Every gift seems to give way to a curse of isolation. Watcher has to detach themselves from reality itself to survive, and the gift-giver Spinning Top leaves them behind.
Endless hunger
SPOILERS FOR THE SECOND ENDING.
SPOILERS FOR THE SECOND ENDING.
Here's a cool divider.
Tumblr media
While the purple Throne Rot seen across the campaign may not play by the same rules as Five Pebbles' Rot, its behavior is equivalent. The Rot is the ultimate embodiment of primal struggle, a collective consciousness of brain meat that forever hungers to consume as much of the world as it can reach. It is not unintelligent, but it is very one-minded.
From The Throne itself, a giant flower blooms and gives birth to the Prince.
The Prince is a piece of the Throne Rot that has partially separated itself from its collective consciousness. It is an individual connected to the Throne Rot, but it has its own mind. "STARVING, pressing, grinding, SQUEEZING against... us? But now... I? A... SELF. And… an OTHER."
The Prince is an imitation of an Iterator puppet. This part of his identity causes him to believe that he was born to solve the Big Problem, by assimilating the entire world into the Throne Rot. "The imperative that was in THEM [the Iterators] remains in me." "Imagine: a single substrate… Life! (...) Nothing lost. No one lost. From bug to god, all as one. A TRUE end to the pattern."
I personally don't believe this was the original goal of the Throne Rot, but rather the Prince instinctually assigning purpose to his new life as an individual. He rationalizes his intrinsic hunger to consume in the lens of a "higher" ideal.
You can see how the Prince reflects Watcher's desire for connection in a deeply twisted manner. They're both in an endless pursuit to connect—Watcher offers itself to others as a companion, while the Prince takes companions and forces them into himself.
Opposing will
The Prince loves Watcher. He considers them to be a great friend, as they are the primary individual responsible for spreading the Throne Rot and the only one to have witnessed their genesis. "You have done so much for me, I will not burden you with my troubles. Please, rest here as long as you wish. You are always safe here, my dear friend. You, who were there for me."
Watcher has finally found it—a new companion, who showers them with praise and affection. Out of an acute desire to retain this friend, they go on to spread the Throne Rot across all the threads that connect the ripple-world. Every viable world is corrupted.
Unfortunately—or perhaps fortunately—something goes terribly wrong for the Prince. "I can almost feel... a will... at odds with my own."
Karma is antithetical to corruption. When the Throne Rot sufficiently engulfs the "fringes" of the ripple-world (Outer Rim and the Rotted vanilla regions), these regions become unstable and you cannot create a warp to escape them. However, there are pockets in The Throne where a bed of Karma Flowers allows you to exit. It's unknown if the phenomenon is natural or intelligent, but Karma inherently opposes the Rot.
When Watcher returns after corrupting all the regions, Karma Flower begin sprouting from the ground of The Throne. The Prince attempts to keep them in, but he ultimately fails—he freezes up, and countless Karma Flowers sprout from the corruption. The Throne Rot might not be outright dead, but its power has clearly been drained. The Prince has failed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Karma Flowers are all over the map now. The "unstable fringes" have also been stabilized by their presence. You can create a warp to leave Outer Rim and the Throne from anywhere, and the same goes for the Rotted vanilla regions.
Going by the tone of the select screen art, Watcher just seems to mourn their loss. Another new friend, unceremoniously ripped from them.
Tumblr media
Moving forward
Watcher cannot seem to find connection. Their family left and possibly died. They helped Spinning Top mature, but Spinning Top left—given that they viewed corporeal and primal life as absurd, they were bound to do this.
Watcher may have attained infant godhood, but their powers encourage them to hide away and detach themselves from the world, concealing them in the desolate Ripplespace with nothing but occasionally violent voidspawn.
It's almost scary how this godlet is willing to go such great lengths to secure companionship, falling for the Prince and corrupting the entire accessible ripple-world to make their friend happy. This friendship ends fruitlessly, too.
Watcher will eventually have a full conclusion to their story. So where will they go from here?
Narratively, I don't think Watcher will get what they want. Their next (and final, I believe) venture for companionship will end in ruin once again... but possibly, Watcher will recognize that while other people come and go, the only constant who will always be there for them is Watcher themselves, and they will learn to overcome the trauma and yearning of their lost childhood.
^ (I think this theme is actually what the Spinning Top ending is already trying to say, andWatcher realizes this very principle thanks to Spinning Top.)
That's my slightly blunt prediction for the overarching theme of the Watcher.
Extra thoughts
Scav Prediction
I personally believe the next arc will involve Scavengers. In the old pre-release Watcher concept, Watcher journyed with an enlightened Scavenger. While James Primate has stated before that Downpour kinda stole the old concept's thunder (i.e. with Artificer), I get a strong indication that the next arc will still involve Scavengers because of the new Acolytes.
Tumblr media
Acolytes are Scavengers who are BRIMMING with attributes that reflect a knowledge of Karma and Ripples.
Acolytes wear glowing golden masks and clothes
A faint Karma symbol between 6-10 surrounds them, suggesting that they are already enlightened (or their armor is imbued with some kind of karmic concentration)
When they are grabbed by a predator, they initiate a crazy karmic retaliation blast to free themselves (which I failed to get a GIF of)
The blindfolded Disciple Acolytes emit a sort of karmic echolocation ping that detects entities from a distance
The definition of an "acolyte" is "a person assisting the celebrant in a religious service or procession". The celebrant is someone performing a rite; often a priest. This implies the acolytes are carrying something out for a leader who is almost certainly not the Chieftain Scavenger in Downpour.
Overall, these guys know something, and I think we're going to find out why.

Hello! I was wondering if you wrote for Johnnie Guilbert? If so, I was gonna request Dating Headcannons for him :D !! ( Only if you’re comfortable, ofc! )
𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙣𝙨 | johnnie guilbert
Tumblr media
a/n: yes i love him <3 take some little dating headcanons, (sorry its short)
•you either meet johnnie from my digital escape, which was a collabrative youtube channel with alternative people
•or he first sees you on omegle while streaming for the first time, shocked to see a punk person
•he gives you his instagram that day after talking with you for sometime and you start dming
•he was quite awkward and shy when you first started talking and calling on the phone, not used to this
•it took a long time of being friends with johnnie for him to ask you out, but you were okay with that because it was worth it
•after my digital escape you didn’t continue with having a social media presence other than instagram
•he never made it a thing to announce it to his viewers, he just kind of included you in videos, and people understood you were together
•at the start of your relationship, he never wanted to be touchy in public or do pda but the more he fell in love with you he didnt care about other peoples opinions
•he would definitely hold your hand, and kiss your cheek, but the rest was private
•would never admit it, but he was a hopeless romantic which means he would always be trying his best for you, and wanting to be near you
•when filming for his youtube or his friends, he would always invite you along, and it was beneficial for both of you, it helped his anxiety and it made you feel included
•he would deal with constant looks and sometimes laughter when he would go outside or go on omegle, but he would never let it get to him, just turning it into a joke
•but when people would comment on your looks, he’d be more harsher and protective
•after a long day of filming, he would collapse into your arms, and cuddle with you, saying he wishes he could just stay there forever
•you would totally go on late night walks or adventures with him to seven eleven
•date wise, he would always get creative and find stuff to do with you
•you both liked going to a different cafe every week or so, ordering something new and just enjoying your time together since you were both busy working most days
•but he still loved just watching netflix on the couch with you, having a night in
•eventually you found a show you both loved, and now you wait to watch it together every friday evening
•he wasn’t one for outside activities, but you encouraged him to go hiking and rock climbing with you and he began to like it.. other than being sweaty and the mosquitoes
•you guys would totally share music, make playlists for eachother and johnnie would eventually encourage you to start singing because your voice was one of his favourite sounds
•he would take you to his favourite bands concerts and gigs, and you would do the same, him loving all of the music you listen to
•as a tattoo artist, you would totally design tattoos for him, and find ideas for his merch line
•he was never one to take things super seriously, but when it came to your relationship, and thinking about the future, it was always thought through
•when you got a cat, he was googling everything to do with the breed, the best food it should eat, healthcare information, which may seem normal, but tell that to the 11 pages of cat research on your living room coffee table
•when you got your first apartment together, no longer having to be in the same space as his roommates, it was such a relief
•he would wait by the door, with your cat, longing for you to come home from the tattoo parlour, and when you did he would be all over you
•i dont care what anyone says, he would be so clingy, just loving your presence
•his love languages are definitely quality time and physical touch. acts of service is up there though
•he loved feeling appreciated
•he would be the sweetest and just the perfect person to be in a relationship with.

Thinking about Wooly in When You Feel Bad
Okay so like... everyone noticed that Wooly was acting kind of funny in the "When You Feel Bad" Tape right? Here's some things I noticed... just note there is a LOT of detail put into this tape so I'm definitely not going to be able to notice and cover everything... I don't even think a post that long would fit in the tumblr text limit...
Anyway first thing I noticed is that right after he says, "How about an Adventure?" he looks directly at the camera. Everything about how he says this feels very scripted. But the interesting thing is... his face immediately changes to one of nervousness or unease as soon as his finishes this sentence and his eyes slowly turn in her direction, BEFORE Amanda even says anything. Almost like he knows that this is not what Amanda wants or needs right now, so it's gonna piss her off. However, it's probably what the SHOW needs, in order for the episode to continue.
Before I continue, I'd like to share a little theory. I think the narrator's story might actually be the correct scripted one the episode was meant to read. Hameln does enjoy subtle but slightly harmful messaging, and telling a friend a sad story to cheer them up might be one of them. I think Wooly was supposed to start the story and the narrator was supposed to continue it (with our help). Because otherwise, why would the narrator be there at all if Wooly was supposed to tell the story? If that's the case, why isn't our script-loving Wooly following the script?
I have two theories:
1. First off, if you answer "tragedy" or "sad" for your favorite type of story, Wooly glances at Amanda (who doesn't appear to be paying attention) and says "We don't like those kinds of stories AT ALL." But... this is lie. We know Amanda likes these stories. So that means... the one who really doesn't like them is Wooly. His reaction to horror also implies that he has some of the trademark Hameln trauma too, though he doesn't seem to show it as much as Amanda. It's kind of a weird reaction to have honestly... like, why would the mention of the word "horror" give you flashbacks of... whatever THAT was. I've had this theory for a while now that part of the reason Wooly tries to change the subject when Amanda talks about sad stuff might simply be because HE doesn't like talking/thinking about this kind of stuff. When we answer "horror" he says he wishes he hadn't asked. In comparison, whenever Amanda remembers something about her past, like when we first mentioned Sam, she seemed confused and maybe a little suspicious of us, but she never flat out has said she regrets remembering these memories, despite how unpleasant they can be. It's a weird contrast. Almost like Amanda wants to remember and Wooly wants to forget. And he really doesn't seem to like listening to the narrator's story when it's told. It's almost like he was trying to avoid it getting told at all. In this case, it was never about cheering Amanda up and Wooly was being rather selfish here. So in order to prevent the narrator's story from getting told, he tells his own.
Which could explain why it's so bland and uncreative, considering Amanda (even in this episode alone) is shown to be the creative type of the two. She's an artist. We've never seen Wooly try and be creative before, so maybe it's just not his thing?
Another interesting thing is, Amanda goes off script quite often and the show seems to bend to her will, but for Wooly it doesn't. (in both this tape and the second In Your Neighborhood tape). It's almost like Amanda seems to get rewarded for going off script (aka in getting what she wants) and Wooly gets punished for it. But it always works for which might be why Wooly is surprised when the same doesn't work for him. But he continues to try nonetheless, trying to get HIS story back on track.
He continues to tell the story wrong ON purpose. Probably hoping he can get the show to play along, the way it always does for Amanda. But it FAILS again. Wooly starts to get frustrated and eventually realizes we're the ones messing with his story. When he asks us to at least TRY and go along with his story, he sounds annoyed which we don't get often from Wooly. So anyway that's theory 1.
Theory 2 goes a bit deeper.
To preface this, I don't 100% believe in this theory I could be wrong but I just want to put the idea on the table. It started with this detail I noticed and found REALLY interesting.
When the narrator says "the knight slew the dragon, not knowing they were killing their true love" Wooly looks at his hands with this weird, wide-eyed expression, while Amanda says the knight is going to regret that.
Tumblr media
I've always thought his reaction here was a little strange. Like it didn't make sense. But what if this line is implying something about Wooly? I do think that this story is a metaphor for something, but it isn't a word-for-word representation of what happened. It is simply a SAD STORY to cheer Amanda up. But bits and pieces of it may remind Amanda and Wooly both of events that happened in their life. Amanda might relate to being separated from someone she cares about and to being turned into a monster (in her case, the demon) without her consent. But Wooly might relate to other things. For this scene in particular maybe he hurt someone he really cared about in a way he couldn't take back and really regrets that? (like the knight killing their true love, killing someone is something that cannot be undone). Once again, I don't think it's supposed to be a one-to-one thing. This line could even be hinting at Amanda and Wooly's falling out. Amanda tells us in the final tape that Wooly did something to betray her trust. Wooly and Amanda used to be best friends. So maybe Wooly did something that really hurt Amanda, something that could not be taken back. Something that ultimately made him lose his best friend and he regrets that. In multiple scenes in this series, Wooly seems to look sad or guilty when Amanda shows anger towards him or says they aren't friends anymore. So it's very possible that this is the case. That said, another common theme with Wooly is that he doesn't seem to enjoy looking at or talking about subjects that make him uncomfortable. (When Amanda talks about death, he seems extremely uncomfortable, when they watch the cat eat the bird he says he feels like he's going to be sick and his constant changing the subject routine that happens throughout the series). So this story, that might in some way remind him of a mistake he made might be something he doesn't want to hear. He doesn't want to be reminded that he screwed up in a way he can't take back, he doesn't want to hear it.
Side note, when Wooly suggests that finishing the story might cheer her up, she doesn't object, she sits back down and looks at him (albeit still pretty upset) and waits for him to continue.
As the narrator's story continues Wooly starts to seem really angry about it. And then he starts getting really like emotionally bent out of shape. Then there's the whole, "There was a big battle, the brave knight prevailed and then-" and Wooly stops, once again having this weird look on his face. Like this got too personal.
Tumblr media
Wooly goes on to talk about how the Knight saves the princess and they live happily ever after.
I think this could imply that at one point or another, Wooly had some sort of chance to do something to help Amanda or save her from her fate. A chance he didn't take. Maybe this didn't even happen while they were trapped, but beforehand and Amanda found out later and got reasonably upset. In any case, it does feel like Wooly may be projecting to an extent. Maybe even trying to subtly tell Amanda that he's sorry, and he doesn't like how their story went. Something that Amanda clearly didn't pick up on. This would be interesting since it's not the first time the game or it's characters have tried to tell us something subtly through a story. Amanda did it through the lonely kitten and the farm animals. I'm not 100% sure that's what is going on here, but I am acknowledging the possibility. Regardless of what Wooly was trying to do, the true ending to this is that he fails.
Going off that theory, something else that add to this is the annoyance Wooly expresses when Amanda dislikes his story. He knows this isn't the story she likes, but if he were trying to tell her something with it, it'd be pretty annoying if he felt like she was ignoring that message. As Amanda keeps criticizing Wooly's story, Wooly claims he's doing his best to cheer her up. Which is a lie. This whole "I'm going to tell my own story" is incredibly selfish and misguided on Wooly's part. Amanda clearly isn't getting the point or liking the story. Even if Wooly was trying to hide some apology in this story, it still doesn't make it okay for him to activitely ignore Amanda's feelings. Besides, even if he is trying to apologize, the apology itself probably comes off a bit mockingly? Like... "I wish our lives didn't completely suck, I wish I had done something about it when I had the chance. But I'll never actually say it to your face." Another thing- Wooly clearly seems to feel genuninely bad about whatever he did to Amanda- but he has never even TRIED to apologize to her!!!
Amanda asking "why doesn't the dragon just put her out of her misery?" I think this adds to my other theory that Amanda just wants to be out of here. She wants to bring an end to what feels like an endless nightmare.
Idk if this post makes ANY sense and like there are so many more details that I could uncover I just wanted to share these two little theories. I do actually really like the idea that Wooly might actually be trying to hint at an apology in changing the sad story to a happy one but I'm probably thinking too deeply about this. Anyway I just wanted to share my thoughts! Hope you enjoy!
Bonus:
Tumblr media
But I thought Wooly says he doesn't like scary stuff? I mean it's just a dragon so it isn't really scary but this was kinda weird of him right?
Tumblr media
Is this a spelling error or is it intentional and somehow important? Genuinely asking.

ohhh my god the taonui mun and nanaue comic was absolutely incredible. I'd only really been exposed to the king shark through the flash tv show (and it's a cw show, accuracy was out of the question) and the second hand knowledge that he's dated John Constantine that I've picked up through fandom. Same understanding of tana moon, pretty much only through fandom text posts.
but oh my god your work is an absolutely incredible re-imagination of the characters, and being able to read through your thought process that tied understanding both the source material as written in combination with contextualising it with who it was written by and when, genuinely motivated me to go and read comics more than anything else online has. your work is absolutely amazing holy shit.
Tumblr media
Aww thank you! I'm so flattered that people genuinely enjoy reading the homework I attach to the fan comics, because they've been very helpful for me to journal my process. So much goes into every decision I make and I'm getting into the habit of sharing that instead of *just* letting the work speak for itself. Because it lets people have newfound appreciation for the work!
I'm also doubly flattered that despite me constantly bad mouthing 90's Superboy as a horribly bad run, people still want to seek it out to contextualize what I do in my AU?? That is so wild. I wish you a safe [content warning for all the unrecognized horrors that is 90's Superboy] read, because it's definitely a solo run I take many breaks from haha. Or if you're just seeking out comics in general, good for you!
I'll continue my quest to progress my Don't Call Me Superboy (Conner as a clone on the run across America) au arc, because after that Conner moves to National City. And once he's there, Superboy gets to have awesome mundane teenage superhero adventures. Which in turn means I get to expand on Taonui! All the feedback has been so encouraging, I can't thank everyone enough for giving this version of Tana Moon and King Shark a chance <3

Let's Color Eat Together, Aki and Haru: More Please!
Since I loved the first movie, I am more than excited to get another serving of these color-coded boys realizing just how much they love each other over shared meals, so I'm jumping right in!
Aki is a Yellow/Orange Oddity. His name means "Autumn" and he is in charge of cooking.
Tumblr media
Haru is a Blue Boy. His name means "Spring" and he is in charge of cleaning.
Tumblr media
Oh, and there's Chief Penguin who watches over their seasonal adventures of being in love.
Tumblr media
Because Aki and Haru are IN LOVE since their names on their doors are in the other boy's color, which means they have been exchanging colors (and love) since forever.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But it's obvious that Aki loves Haru since he wears his heart on his sleeve and pink on his body.
Tumblr media
However, even though it might be harder to notice, Haru also loves Aki since he constantly combines their colors and wears green.
Tumblr media
This is what drives the sequel — All the subtle ways these boys love each other because Haru, the cleaner, does cook Aki's favorite curry with a little yellow hair tie in his hair since his blonde boy is always on his mind.
Tumblr media
And Aki wears a blue hair tie when he tries to come up with ways to make Haru happy since he is always thinking about his Blue Boy(friend) and his happiness.
Tumblr media
They are always thinking about each other, and they are always wearing each other's colors and mixing them into green.
Tumblr media
Aki loves their domestic life together and wishes to never leave it.
Tumblr media
And Haru loves his bright and loud Yellow/Orange Oddity, just the way he is, and even states that he wants Aki to find a job that he can be himself at.
Tumblr media
So even though Haru is happy that Aki found a job he will love, it doesn't mean he won't miss Aki, which is why he is in green and orange for his boy.
Tumblr media
But Aki doesn't see that. As he sits in Haru's blue with Chief Penguin, he wishes Haru would say that he will miss him.
Tumblr media
Because Haru doesn't express himself, Aki thinks Haru doesn't love him the same way he loves him, but Haru, in his pink, can't even think about moving out of the place they have shared together for the past four years without getting upset.
Tumblr media
So he turns black instead.
Tumblr media
Haru can't even function at work without thinking about Aki leaving their blissful green life behind.
Tumblr media
So as much as Aki believes it's better to keep his feelings to himself since he doesn't think Haru feels the same (even though that Blue Boy is always right behind him in whatever he does),
Tumblr media
He is wrong.
Tumblr media
Haru loves Aki just as much as Aki loves Haru.
Tumblr media
In fact, Haru's entire world is Aki. But even as they stand there wearing their colors seeing the writing photos on the wall, Aki still doesn't fully understand.
Tumblr media
So after Aki painfully confesses that he loves Haru in a way he fears Haru will hate him for, Haru reassures Aki that he can love him and that he doesn't want to spend his life with anyone else but Aki.
Tumblr media
And even though Haru doesn't say he loves Aki back in that moment, the love isn't one-side. The love, even if unspoken, is right there between them. Always.
Tumblr media
Thankfully, Haru makes that clear. With Aki in both their colors, Haru tells Aki that he loves him too, and they walk back to their home hand-in-hand.
Tumblr media
So even though they have different graduation ceremonies, they still carry each other with them in their ties that share both their colors.
Tumblr media
Although they are separated after graduated, fortunately they are color-coded boys in love who understand that distance makes the heart grow fonder, and continue their relationship long-distance while Haru keeps Aki's sweater warm back home.
Tumblr media
And the sequel ends the same way the first movie did —
Tumblr media
With the color-coded boys in love reuniting and showing affection, trust, and connection by touching foreheads.
Tumblr media
You know, like penguins do.
Tumblr media
Can't wait for the next picture to be their wedding.

I absolutely loved Demonology. It was an extremely generous gift to the fandom and to the GO mythology as a whole. I loved how you fleshed out Aubrey as a real character and the story being told through her perspective was so effective and clever. I was amazed at how true to the character of Crowley you were so that you were able to write him so authentically into new scenarios. Each chapter was such a surprising and original adventure but with a beloved friend. I loved the humor and pain in this story and so glad it wasn't any shorter than it was. Also, I was reading it at the Denver airport when Crowley made that quip about Aubrey's smell so I felt very connected to the story at that time, very funny private moment. I think this was the most enjoyable story I have ever read and also, got me to see why I personally related so strongly to Crowley. I have found validation as well as escapism from the perennial grief I feel at this time of year. So thank you thank you thank you.
I also read the Aziraphale story, which I felt had some very funny, LOL moments and was heartbreaking. I do wish that you had felt the freedom to write a healing journey before you saw season 2 and the stuckness that Aziraphale was still in. I think it can be really cathartic and beautiful to imagine what it would take for them to become healed. That was the magic of the Crowley story because you actually delivered the answers you promised which is so rare in any book. You showed us the magic that it took with trust and time and expression for Crowley to restore his heart.
I'm going to go back and read the story all over again.
The imagery that stuck with me the most was Crowley wedged up in the corner of the ceiling, and also the most glorious chapter where he shared his poetry with Aziraphale. Also I am a plant lover so all that stuff with the tree and Bud was just phenomenal.
You are an extremely gifted writer and I hope you continue to write and publish and I really, really hope you write some more stories from this universe. If there are any others please please let me know!
Oh, thank you. I'm blushing! I am so grateful that you found both valuable, and shared this with me.
I think, having done both Demonology and Angel-Centered now, I have come to this conclusion: anything but a satisfying resolution for Crowley would have been a disservice to his character; anything but unsatisfying heartbreak for Aziraphale would have been a disservice to his character. I don't mean this at all in a harsh way, regarding Aziraphale, and I have no doubts that he and Crowley both will have a well-deserved Happily Ever After. But, in therapy? And especially within the confines of the sort of fanfic I was writing (e.g., as much as possible, avoid adding to canon; as much as possible, only extrapolate and comment upon canon)? What other sort of option could there be, for Aziraphale?
I don't know.
Or maybe I'm just experiencing the same bittersweet frustration about Good Omens, right now, as everyone else, and that's clouding my thoughts.
You sent a follow-up message, clarifying you'd appreciate recommendations for other Good Omens fic. I am terrible at providing recommendations, unfortunately, but I hope others will be happy to offer some. There is one I can think of, though! Factory Settings is superb. I'm blown away by the clear confidence in the plotting and characterizing. I wouldn't mind it being our S3.

3, 10, 15, 20, 24, 25 for the Dragon Ball ask game! <3
3. List your top five favorite characters in order of how much you like them.
This would've been so much easier to answer when I was younger asjdla I'm old now and have more of an appreciation of character writing and roles in a story and I find Toriyama's character writing so charming... I love Vegeta the most but I like Piccolo the most you know what I mean?? Okay I'm gonna try, let me. Okay. Vegeta and Piccolo and Bulma, obviously, Gohan and Trunks probably after that? Yeah. Probably. My emotional support supporting cast.
10. The Dragon Ball series isn’t exactly known for being consistent with its story, its characters, and various other things. Which inconsistency irritates you the most?
I think the thing I'm probably most known for in this fandom now is screaming about how Toei and Toriyama wrote two completely different series' with two completely different casts while sharing the same basic plot. It does genuinely upset me that the former is the version that's most accessible, just because the latter is so, so good. I'm very grateful he decided to do the movies he did and overhaul Daima before he passed, and I'm so happy to see that Yuko and Toya seem to have learned a lot from his tone and humor and adventure writing skills to continue playing in the world he left behind with the full heart for that kind of story that he had.
15. Do you have any favorite ships (canon or otherwise)?
I like all of the canon ships! I also like the TienxYamcha QPP and the TienxYamchaxLaunch reverse Three's Company sitcom situation in which they're both into Tien but Tien's aroace, I think Satan and Buu are cute regardless of where on the spectrum their relationship falls, I like Trunten, I like CauliKale, I like the various Beerus ship dynamics I've seen with Whis and Kai, I think Cheelai should meet Launch,
20. If you could hang out with one character, who would it be?
Ooo~! I think--!! I'd love to hang out with Gohan, but also I feel like my adhd would kick in while he's explaining bugs and I'd feel bad, plus he's always swamped. I think Hercule would be super interesting to talk to if he could turn off for a while a be a person. I also think hanging out with Whis for a day could be a pretty safe and interesting day. Mmbbuuuut I think I'd have to give it to Dr Brief, because I want to hang out with him in his giant animal sanctuary full of dinosaurs and god knows whats.
24. If you could write your own episode, what would it be about?
I think I'd write a flashback episode just kind of about what it's like inside the Freeza Force. I'm really fascinated by the hyper-capitalism/imperialism critique there and the self-sustaining economies of a Freeza planet Metropoles that Freeza will build and then get bored with and abandon, and doing a character-driven snapshot of the entire political system within just Freeza's empire would be super fascinating to me. I think I'd write it from Lemo's perspective, at different points of his life. He was there for so long, you'd probably get to do a lot of cameos of people who worked for Freeza even before Vegeta was born. And he was kitchen staff, so it wouldn't be a big high-octane thing but he could still bear witness to fights, which would satisfy the action element of the show too.
25. What would you wish for with the dragon balls?
I'd wish for every conservative politician in the world to wake up with everything exactly the same except their body is the opposite sex and nobody else knows they were different before. After 120 days, the ones who want to go back to their original bodies will be allowed to and the ones who are happy with their new body can keep it. Call it an empathy exercise.

The Missing Piece of Us
—-
Tumblr media
——
Summary:
Gabriel and Y/N Reyes were happily married, until an event changed their lives.
Words: 1.488
He was dead, he was really
dead. You were in front of his grave, which said, "Here lies Gabriel Reyes commander Blackwatch" with the Blackwatch logo above it.
It was a plate on the ground, next to Jack's grave. You still couldn't accept the fact that your husband was gone.
Tears start to fill your eyes again as everything hits you again. He really was gone—your husband, the father of your son, your love of your life—gone. The same thought swam constantly through your mind.
Your son hugs your leg, trying to comfort you, as a breeze of wind just flows by the two of you.
Memories start to flow through your mind of all the happy moments you shared with Gabe. Your first date was at some coffee shop, and even though he hated it, he did it for you.
Or the moment he asked you to be his wife after he came back from an Overwatch mission at your shared home. All these moments suddenly flood your brain, "I miss you, Gabriel... I miss you so much," you said before you broke down in front of his grave, as suddenly a hand touched your shoulder. You expected it to be the hand of your son, but it was Angela, a colleague of Gabriel's. She looked down at you comfortingly as she rubbed your bag and took you into her arms with your son.
"It will be okay, Y/N. Let it out," Angela said softly as she kept rubbing your back. "Shhh, it's okay." She herself had some tears in her eyes, she wished that she could've done something for Gabriel.
After you got calmer, Angela handed flowers to you and your son to place on Gabe's grave.
The two of you place the flowers on the gravestone on the floor and take a last look in silence. Before you take a photo of you and Gabriel from the day you gave birth to your son out of the pocket of your jacket and place it next to the flowers,
As you walked away from Gabriel's grave with Angela and your son, you couldn't help but reflect on the life you shared with him. The memories flooded your mind, both the happy ones and the challenging ones. You remembered the adventures you had, the battles he fought, and the love you shared. It was clear that Gabriel would always hold a special place in your heart, and his memory would continue to bloom and influence your life. Over the weeks and months that followed, you focused on being there for your son, just as Gabriel would have wanted. You became a pillar of strength for him, providing the love and support he needed to navigate through life without his father. It wasn't easy, but you drew strength from the memories you shared with Gabriel.
You made a commitment to keep Gabriel's memory alive for your son.
You told him about the missions and other stories from his father, showed him pictures, and taught him the values and principles that Gabriel held dear.
As time went on, you found moments of happiness and healing.
You found a new love—someone who brought that happiness back into your life. Of course, no one could replace Gabriel, but you found the strength to move on. You will always keep Gabriel in your honor and in your heart. Your son grew, and you could see glimpses of Gabriel in him, both in his appearance and his personality.
---
One rainy day, you walked back home from the cinema with your new husband and your son. The three of you had just enjoyed a family outing to watch a movie that your son had been eagerly anticipating. The rain had started to fall during the film, and as you stepped outside, the streets glistened with the reflections of streetlights on the wet pavement.
Luckily, you packed an umbrella right before you left for the cinema. You pulled the umbrella out of your purse and opened it.
Your husband offered to hold it for you, and you wouldn't say no to that, so you gave him the umbrella, and he placed his other arm around you, and you held your son close to you so you three could all fit underneath the umbrella.
The three of you started walking home, but you got the weird feeling of being watched or followed. You look around to see if you can catch anyone looking at you or following you, but you see nothing...
You kept walking until you finally arrived at the door to your apartment, but you still felt watched. You'd decided to ignore the feeling and thought you were just imagining it.
Your husband unlocked the door, and your son ran in, and your husband followed. You were about to follow too, but you decided to look behind you and saw a dark figure disappear in a dark alley on the other side of the street. Maybe you were being followed... maybe you were right...
You decided to just ignore it, close the door behind you, and get changed. Your son and husband were already out of their jackets and outside shoes on their way into the kitchen.
You took your jacket and shoes off and went to follow the two of them.
Time has passed since your son went to sleep, or you think he is sleeping he also could be playing on his computer, but you and your husband are on the couch watching some Bake Off that was playing on the television.
You were in the arms of your husband, relaxing, and as you looked over, you saw him fall asleep. You couldn't help but smile at his sleeping figure. You needed to get something, so you carefully stood up and went into the kitchen. You looked out the window and saw that it had stopped raining. Suddenly you heard a knock on your door, which startled you a little before you slowly walked to open the door, wondering who knocked on your door at this hour.
As you opened the door, you were greeted by... nothing. No one stood there, and you thought someone pulled a prank on you, so you looked outside left and right to check if there was someone, but... there was no one.
Before you could go back inside, you realized that two were lying on the door mat.
Curiously, you picked the items up, and you looked at them closely and saw that it's ... the photo you left at the grave of Gabriel and a note that reads:
"My flower, I want you to know that I will always love you. I'm very proud of you.
- Yours forever
Gabe"
The note was like a ray of hope in the darkness, and you couldn't help but be overwhelmed with a mix of emotions. The reappearance of the photo you had left at Gabriel's grave, along with the heartfelt message, left you both confused and elated.
You take the two items inside and close the door again. You go to your bedroom and open a drawer door to pull out a box, a box full of things from Gabriel.
As you carefully placed the items in the box with all the memories of Gabriel, you couldn't shake the feeling that there might be some truth to the note. The use of his endearing nickname for you, "My flower," and the loving message seemed too personal to be a cruel joke. It stirred up memories of the love you had shared and the unique bond you had with Gabriel.
After all that, you sat down on the bed and just stared at the wall, all the memories coming up again. You let the tears flow and covered your face with your hands as you kept on crying.
You didn't expect anyone to hear you, but you hear the door opening, and as you look, you see your son. "Mom, are you okay?.." he said softly as he slowly approached you.
You thought you finally got over his death, but all this made everything come up again, and the thought that he was still alive comes up in your mind again.
"I just... thought about your father again. It just came up... I'm alright.." you said with a shaky voice, trying to put on a fake smile for her son, but this couldn't fool him. "Mom, I can see you're not okay." He approached you and gave you a hug.
As your son wrapped his arms around you in a comforting hug, the tears kept flowing. You were no longer sure what to think, but the combination of grief, confusion, and hope was overwhelming.
Your son's embrace felt like a lifeline, a heartwarming reminder of the strong and loving family you had created with Gabriel, and that strength still prevailed. And always remember, you are loved.

I haven't really shared my thoughts on My Adventures with Superman so far in detail but they've been broadly positive! The strongest part of the show is definitely the characterisation -- Lois, Clark, and Jimmy all feel perfect. Some of their dynamics and interactions are different compared to usual Superman continuities but it all works in the specific context the show set up (being interns/rookie journalists who join TDP at around the same time, and Clark and Jimmy being college friends).
The weakest part of the show imo is some of the designs and the general kind of broad sci-fi reinterpretation of some of the villains. For some it works but for others I really wish they had kept more classic elements of the characters or had gone a bit further with their reinterpretation and really made them interesting in the new contexts.
This is about as much as I can say vaguely so:
Spoilers up to episode 7 under cut!
I didn't really like how they did Silver Banshee in particular -- Siobhan's design feels pretty lame in comparison to her in the comics and the reinterpretation of her powers fell flat for me. I also really didn't understand why they associated her with Interpol, or even where they're going with Intergang in general -- are we going to have a connection with Apokolips?
To expand on the Lois, Clark, Jimmy dynamics: there was a lot of backlash to how Lois responded to learning that Clark is Superman and I could definitely see it being informed by misogyny which is unfortunately unsurprising. The first episode of the show literally sets up the foundation of their relationship as the truth -- it would make less sense for Lois not to be upset. As expanded on in the next episodes, the bit I really liked in particular was how Lois seemed to be unsure of how much Clark had been lying to her regarding his persona and their relationship. The way it was written felt pretty natural and true to the core of both Lois and Clark. What really cinched it for me is Clark confessing that he didn't want to tell Jimmy and Lois because he didn't want them to see him as different, like, that's it, that's exactly what I'm looking for.
I definitely wouldn't have put the reveal so early in the series but it works for what it is! And I'm excited to see a dynamic of Lois and Jimmy helping Clark, just new to being Superman, discover more about his heritage/powers/identity, I don't think I've ever really seen it before and it has loads of potential.
One last thing I wanted to share my thoughts on is that I was pretty disappointed with how Episode 7 ended. I thought we were past Evil Superman by now but I guess not. I really don't want to do an Injustice lmao. I hope this plot point gets resolved speedily because it's just kind of nothing to me
Once again, overall I really like the series so far and I'm excited to keep watching :)

The last plates of breakfast were being withdrawn from the table when King Paul started talking, wanting to update his children on the news their castle was going to get prepared for that same day. Stretching his hand to take the one of Queen Darlene, he cleared his throat as his daughter and son were sharing their plans for the day with each other.
“We received an urgent letter written from the Kingdom of Asgard last evening,” he started, soon getting the attention of the youngest in the room. “It appears that Lady Darcy is traveling to Manhattan Land, and in her journey she wishes to make a stop at our castle. We will host a dinner for our guest, and I trust you both will behave by showing the values our family has been keeping for generations.”
Princess Sarah’s face lit up at the name of the other young woman, and the Prince could not help but show a tiny smile as he knew the true meaning of that reaction.
“As I know you two are good friends,” the King continued, “I believe it will be suitable to settle her in your chamber, as I wouldn’t want her to feel un-welcomed by having one of the guest rooms, since they are at the other wing of the castle.”
“Father, we will make sure she feels at home,” Princess Sarah reassured, even if her father did not have a doubt about that being their performance.
“Is she traveling alone, father?” Prince Samuel asked, earning a questioning raised eyebrow from his mother, who then landed eyes on the princess.
“The letter spoke about her bodyguard as well,” the king continued, strange to the exchange, “Thor from the ancient Odin Dynasty. I believe he was the Lady’s personal guard in previous visits, so he will not want to leave her side. It is expected of you, son, to offer him accommodation in your chambers, since it is placed next to your sister’s.”
Prince Sam nodded in agreement, not wanting to seem too excited about their future visit as his sister gave him a knowing look from the other side of the table.
“You can go now to have your classes of the day, my dears,” Queen Darlene let them go before going back to discuss with her husband what arrangements they would have to make for the Lady’s driver and carriage.
Lady Darcy tried to hold her excitement as she knew they had entered the lands of their allies, where they would spend a night with a family she had known since she was a child. Thor was working on her hair to pass the time, having finished a second braid that he linked to the first one with a red ribbon, over the rest of Darcy’s long hair, at the level of her neck.
“I believe Princess Sarah will be eager to see you,” he commented, knowing the depths of her protégée’s feelings for the woman as they had been raised as equals before he had become part of the royal guard.
“I will adventure myself to say the same about the prince,” Darcy responded. She was not unaware, either, of the glances the men had exchanged in other events in which they had coincided. “We have not encountered them in a long time. I believe we will have time to catch up with our dear friends.”
Thor smiled in silence.
As they had been promised by their driver, they arrived at the castle when the sun was leaving for the night. While some of their luggage was brought up upstairs, Lady Darcy and her guard were welcomed by the King and Queen in a hall briefly before heading to one of the dining rooms, where they were double- welcomed as well by their long-distance friends and a display of local products.
They had dinner while chattering about how things were going on in Asgard and summarizing what their trip to Manhattan was for. The King offered them accommodation for their way back the following month, and the Lady was pleased to accept such a generous offer.
When food was run low they moved onto other entertainments to a larger hall. The Queen delighted them with some songs, filling the room with glee as Prince Sam asked Lady Darcy for a dance. Then, at the first sign of tiredness from the Lady, Princess Sarah excused all of them for the night and after wishing their parents to have a peaceful night, they led their visitors to the part of the castle where their chambers awaited with the promise of a comforting night among loved ones.
Having passed the corner where the last guard stood, the princess and Lady Darcy linked hands as the prince backed off to walk at the level of the bodyguard, their fingers brushing as their hands got closer with every step.
“We can set up the fireplace and sleep in front of it,” Sarah was telling her beloved as they planned how to spend the little time they would have together. “Oh, and I loved your braids!”
Lady Darcy had a smile that almost could not fit her face, and soon the pair parted ways.
Prince Sam led Thor to a chamber that was not strange to the bodyguard and out to the balcony, where they could finally speak; a place to return to their shared memories of passionate moments from past encounters.
“I believe my raven found its way into delivering my letter,” Thor stated.
“He did,” Samuel smiled, remembering Thor’s words in his later letter. “You trained him well. I hope mine got to you as well.”
“It did,” Thor replied, taking one of his hands. “I also wish you liked my gift, though I am aware you are accustomed to higher accessories.” They locked eyes on the bracelet Thor had made for the prince, one that now he wore proudly every day.
“Having with me a piece of you, it means everything,” Samuel shared before lamenting “I am sad I do not have anything from me to give you, as I wish this would be reciprocated. I can only offer you this night, my dear.”
“Being able to hold you, to kiss you, is enough of a gift,” Thor confessed to him and the night sky only, brushing a thumb over his beloved’s hand.
Prince Samuel took a step closer to seal his silent confession of love with a kiss, cupping the bodyguard’s face in anticipation of everything they could do together if they chose not to sleep that night.

Sneaky Dinotopia Posting
I still have the first three of the original books (never did get Journey to Chandara) as well as VHS tapings of the first airings of the miniseries (or, ‘Television’s first Mega-Series’ as is billed during the event itself). I remember not getting to watch it live the first night because I was with family at a horse race, however there were small TVs at the venue that were meant to be tuned in to the race, and we snuck a quick change of the channel to catch the very end (the scene with the mosasaurs and the temple). I also managed to catch at least one episode of the 13-episode followup series (Contact, IMO the best one) and I know I read Windchaser at one point, but remember nothing from it. Never knew about the other novels or the games, but I do distinctly remember attending a James Gurney signing, where he had an easel set up and did live drawings. This was after at least the miniseries had aired, as he drew Zippo (from the letters Z and O, although I can’t quite remember how he managed that).
I spotted Quest for the Ruby Sunstone and the live-action series, including unaired episodes, at a rental place once many years ago, but we were there to find a movie to watch with the family, so I didn’t get to see them then. But over the last few days I got out those old VHS’s to watch the miniseries, and found the series on Youtube, and I greatly enjoyed them both (although you kind of have to accept that the series is its own thing, not quite the same as the miniseries and even less like the books). Also watched Quest, and it’s an interesting blend of elements from the miniseries and books into a Land-Before-Time-esque story that happens to also have humans. I found it overall enjoyable even though there are some very strange moments (I think they named a character a slur?!?). Very cool to see the original strutters referenced heavily in an action sequence.
It seems like, to most fans of the franchise, the 13-episode series is either just a footnote or a blanket “it’s bad, don’t watch,” and well, that’s fair, it’s a lot of steps removed from the books to the point it’s hardly recognizable at times. But I still wish more people would talk about it, so here are my favorite parts of the series:
Le Sage. My feelings on the overall concept of the outsiders set aside, she’s an intriguing personality and voice to add into the Dinotopia setting, someone who doesn’t mesh well with the way of things because realistically, there are going to be people who don’t, and not all of them should be unsympathetically so. She’s the definition of a big fish in a small pond, and it can be scary to watch her live on the edge and continue to long for the outside despite what we, the audience, all know is the potential for hurt and danger therein, but mostly I just blame the show’s take on Dinotopia for being overtly traditional and stuck in the past to the point that despite all its positives, apparently some people still don’t feel content, accepted, or taken care of there (which reflects a lot of my personal conflicted feelings on the setting as a whole). I love the way she eventually just inserts herself into the main cast’s adventures as if it’s a way to deal with boredom, and her arc during the two-part The Cure arc becomes legitimately heart-wrenching. If there’s any benefit to the series ending at 13 episodes, it’s that we didn’t have to watch her inevitable Hallmark-style ‘redemption’ where she loses all personality and quietly settles down with someone, probably Frank. Instead, she stays the same free-spirit throughout, with no solid romantic interest that goes anywhere (and, if one reads into things, particularly some overt lines the final episode, maybe a long-lost lesbian love for Rosemary?), and her decision to return to Dinotopia, rather than live out her otherwise-short life seeing as much of the outside world as she can, seems to be a platonic one, with her realizing after sharing an awkward hug with David that these people have become her family.
26. Just seeing her first in the miniseries made an impact. From then on, 26 has always been my favorite number, appearing occasionally at the end of usernames and such. But now I get to discover more than two decades later that she also has some more time to shine in the show, maybe never being in the direct spotlight like in Quest but I was expecting a bit more sidelining in the interest of saving the CGI budget. She has a few important roles in episodes, and the part in The Cure where she escapes and is shown racing toward David and the portal was probably the most genuinely excited I’ve been watching the series, about on par with seeing interaction with the outside world itself.
Zippo/Zipeau. There are a few points, particularly in the early episodes, where his voice is noticeably ‘off’ compared to the miniseries, and while it’s never quite the same, later appearances are significantly better and he does feel mostly like the same character. There’s a humorous arc (in an otherwise strange episode with a questionable Aesop and a vague, off-brand nod to Poseidon of all things) where he runs for mayor on the platform that there should be a bigger library (He got 9 votes I’m SO PROUD OF HIM). To circle back around to Le Sage, as well, some of the later episodes have the two of them begin to tolerate each other (Le Sage being a known dinosaur-hater) and they even get a small moment in The Cure where they save each other’s lives and Le Sage expresses reluctant gratitude. If there’s one downside to the series ending at 13 episodes, it’s that I would’ve liked to see more of these two becoming friends.
Contact. The only episode I recognized as having seen before, so if I saw any others, this was the only one that stuck with me. Probably the most grounded use of the Dinotopia setting (compared to time loops and youth potions and pulling an island-wide ‘It’s a Wonderful Life/Christmas Carol’ ruse…), and it feels like the most real episode of the bunch. Karl finds a radio and wants to use it to get off the island, but instead finds a scenario where he needs to act as a third party directing a rescue ship to survivors stranded on a raft, before they’re caught in the storms surrounding Dinotopia. Tensions are extremely high throughout, especially because Karl has tried so many times no one will ever believe he’s doing anything other than trying to escape.
The Dinosaurs, in general. There are a lot of episodes where it’s clear they were rationing the budget, telling stories that take the focus away from needing to use CGI, but there are just as many episodes where they still decided to go crazy and show dinosaurs just casually existing everywhere. And while I prefer the herbivores any day (Ankylosaurus FTW), and the live-action takes’ portrayals of the carnivores leave a lot to be desired, the T. Rex is still a good example of a dino that only got one scene early on in the miniseries, but features prominently in many episodes of the series. Parasaurolophus is also everywhere, both as guards and overlanders. While sadly there don’t seem to be any new dinosaurs, we do get to see a little bit more of just about every kind from the miniseries.

The Bad Batch Season 2 Wrap Up Thoughts
I never ended up sharing my thoughts on the Bad Batch S2 finale. Since we're hopefully getting news of S3 tomorrow, this seemed like a good time?
First, to be clear, I love so much about the show. This is not meant to be a complaint thread. But I'm also critical of certain aspects. You're warned.
This is also a compiled Twitter thread!
Spoilers through the end of Season 2!
First off, I can't understate how beautiful the show was, just as an experience. The cinematography, the visual designs, the music. The unique worlds and unique characters. There were so many shots that were breathtaking, haunting. When a scene hits, it HITS.
I love both TCW & Rebels dearly, but cumulative skills + experience as well as new technology clearly shows. TBB, TotJ (and of course TCW S7) are just so captivating to watch as works of art. These shows are, frankly, worth it for that alone. But of course that's not all.
One of TBB's strengths is the depth it gives the worlds the characters visit, as well as the side/guest characters. Perhaps due to the nature of many of the episodes being more of an exploration than straight up war like TCW, but we can see more of these places. TCW also had so many neat planets/aliens/cultures, but due to the constantly pressing war, we were only ever allowed a glimpse and I constantly wished there was more. TBB really scratched that itch. I'm thinking specifically of Kashyyyk, with its fauna and wookiee traditions.
The same with side/guest characters. They all had such great flavor, with fun designs and motives. Phee was a standout among the non-clones. I also loved how it gave us such a personal exploration of characters we knew and loved before, like Riyo.
The thing about TBB is that it's set in such a fascinating time period that we don't have too much media of, at least in new canon. The formation of the Empire is a time where we know all these other characters must be alive and working hard, but we haven't seen it before.
This leads me to the writing. Oh, the writing...
How do I say this. The writing in this show gave me whiplash. Some of the episodes were beyond brilliant, giving us deeply personal character moments, layered metaphors, and context in how it affects the greater SW universe.
Others...not so much.
I understand this is not the case for everyone, but for me personally to enjoy a story, when there are any stakes involved, I need the characters to show some awareness of them, and for these to affect their actions. There are a limited number of episodes and that time must be spent wisely. I don't mean this at all to say that I didn't enjoy the lighter fun adventure missions with the Batch, nor do I think these episodes can't be used productively.
But TBB S1 started off with Crosshair siding with the Empire.
I kept waiting for them to *show* that the others cared. It could be they were troubled, it could be they missed him, it could have been shown in so many ways. I kept expecting these brief moments in the Fun Times episodes, which would have given me some emotional continuity.
The writers are absolutely capable of it! After Plan 99, when Echo glances at the co-pilot seat—stuff like that, I was personally expecting it through all of S1 and S2. I get that the Batch feel they have to do other things and Crosshair made his own choice, but I thought the point was they care about their brother regardless.
Mind you, I'm not the biggest fan of Crosshair, but I do find him interesting. And I felt that in the two episodes most centered around him, he had such tangible growth that was depicted so well. He went from stating that the Batch are superior to regs in S1 finale, to having clear doubts after working with Cody, to shooting a natborn officer because he didn't help a "reg" he'd just met. We see Crosshair being included by the clones he disdains, we see how it compares to the Empire he thought he wanted to be a part of. The writing in Crosshair's episodes were tight, and he went far within them, few as they were.
In comparison, the rest of the Batch...with their far greater number of episodes...what were they doing??
I love character-centric eps, but even on a personal level, I wasn't sure what the charas gained. Tech is the sole exception; he was given many introspective moments, from Sorenno, to Phee, to the cave talk with Omega. Not sure how much he changed, but he expressed himself.
To also be clear, I'm also not including Echo in any of this. He has been the voice of trying to get the Batch to do things, to *change*, since S1. I felt his frustration keenly. Which is why I felt that when he left to go with Rex...I sort of left the Batch with him.
I mean this in the sense that Echo didn't *want* to leave the Batch, not necessarily. He wanted, and he *did* try to get Hunter to care about what their brothers are suffering, and he has been since S1. Echo can't stand to leave them chipped when he could do something.
He wanted the Batch to feel the same. *I* wanted the Batch to feel the same. But they didn't. I see Echo breaking with them less as him leaving, and more as they (or at least Hunter) firmly telling him that that's not their fight, and they're not going to do it.
This isn't the Batch going out of their way to help, or not knowing how. Echo and Rex have given them an open invitation. The Batch know how to help, who needs it, and why. They know their "reg" brothers don't have many if any others fighting for them. The Batch (Hunter) have these opportunities to help and know they are among the few positioned to offer it...and they still walk away.
The Batch (Hunter) sees the other clones fates as none of their business. On one hand, I get that they never fit in, were called names and weren't allowed to sit with the cool kids at lunch. On the other, "they were mean" and "therefore they should be mind-controlled slaves" is grossly disproportional. Likewise it's not as though this fight doesn't concern them. Even if they can't find it in themselves to care about "regs," it's Rex who told them to remove their chips and went out of his way to make sure they did based on info that Fives gathered, without which Wrecker would have killed Omega. Perhaps I wouldn't go as far as to say they *owe* other clones, but my opinion of them certainly continued to drop as they made explicitly clear that they're fine with this being the fate of other clones.
So okay, fine. TBB isn't a story about the Batch discovering they have more alike with other clones than they first thought (other than Crosshair, who actually does get that story). That's what I wanted, alright, I know I'm not getting that at this point.
But then, where does that leave them? What do they care about, what do they fight for?
Their brother...right?
Except...they don't really do that either??? (points at earlier in this rant) At least, until the very last episodes, where an opportunity presents itself, and most of the Batch jumps on it...except Hunter.
The way he's written just *baffles* me. I can't say anything about his personality other than "he cares about Omega," but even that, when at the expense of his other brothers, is tiring. Immediately after Tech gives his life on a mission he wanted to go on to try to save Crosshair, he suggests they all hide away on Pabu (even with the knowledge that Omega is wanted and they're being hunted). I get that he wanted to hide from the pain, but in that context?? Even then, he can't care about Cross??
And then when Omega is kidnapped, the difference in his reaction between that and what happened with Crosshair...it was, frankly, painful.
I feel like by the end of the series, Tech would have been more open to joining Echo/the clones' fight. Wrecker will just go along. Echo has already plunged headfirst into helping others, Crosshair got character growth and defected from the Empire. And Omega has always wanted to help even strangers, but only doesn't when Hunter tells her no.
I feel that Hunter's the one dragging his heels for the Batch to progress, and he's supposed to be the leader.
All of this to say, I've been trying so hard to like the Batch since S1, and they didn't really click for me (other than Echo, who I don't count since I loved him from long before, and still consistently have). But by the end of S2, I think I've concluded that I'd like the others perfectly fine if they were under different leadership that encouraged them to care, to act.
I don't want to say I *dislike* him, but man...I'm super disappointed in Hunter, and I'm not sure if/how that might change.
This leads me to my final thought, which is: I would strongly prefer if "the Clone Story" be told from a different lens than Hunter-centric TBB.
What I mean is, throughout the show, there have been multiple pivotal events that affect all clones, not just the Batch.
The fall of Kamino, the failure of the clones' rights bill are the big ones. But even without those, through the glimpses of the "regs" like Howzer, Gregor, Wilco, Cody, Slip, Cade, and Mayday, we see how the Empire is treating the rest of them as a group.
I'm deeply invested in these boys and their stories, and frankly, all of these boys instantly became my faves in their few moments of screen time. I want more of these, and it feels deeply unfair that they've done so much to tell compelling stories but have so little time.
They are an extension of the clones I love from TCW in a way that the Batch just aren't, and don't seem to be interested in becoming.
Not even that, but we know from Hunter's rejection of Echo that the Batch (Hunter) don't *care.*
Fine, they don't care. But I'm admittedly deeply concerned about how S3 will go, because even if the Batch doesn't care about the Clone Story, they (Hunter) don't seem to be doing a great job progressing their internal story either (Crosshair).
I understand Omega has some crucial background we're *finally* getting to. I want to know why she's special, why she's unaltered. I want to know what she has that Boba doesn't, or if she's just Nala Se's favorite. Maybe that's relevant to the Clone Story.
But frankly, personally, I would prefer if TBB S3 goes full in focussing on building Hunter and Wrecker up emotionally, and just going full in on what it means for them as a Batch to be there for each other. They need that, desperately, without distractions.
I would prefer if the Clone Story (frankly, the story I'm far more invested in) is told through Rex and other clones, who passionately care and are in the fight. If Echo jumps between the 2 groups and links them, great! I think the Batch would make excellent guest characters. But NOT protagonists of a story where they don't care while everyone else does.
I guess all of this to say, it's sad that I think I liked the Batch the most in TCW S7, and my impression of them as a group (which I recognize is largely due to Hunter) has only gone downhill since.
Again, to be clear, I did enjoy the show.
I LOVED eps 3, 7, 8, 12, 14, to the point I'd say they're possibly my favorite eps of any SW show. These eps are conspicuously non Batch-centric. I loved many *parts* of other episodes.
The *show* has given me so much to love. Unfortunately, none of those things are Hunter.

Note
i saw that you asked for requests and i also saw that you wrote some nikolai stories based on taylor's songs (i loved). so you could write something based on wilders dreams or you are in love or call it what you want, you choose pls
MY BRAND yes of course i can.
nikolai lantsov: you are in love
and you understand now why they lost their minds and fought the wars...
“marry me.”
you shook your head. while any other girl would likely collapse onto the cobblestones had they the pleasure of hearing those words from the king, you would not. you could not. the possibility of accepting his proposal was a lie you no longer could afford.
“i have a certain inclination to your use of words, darling,” nikolai caught up to your strides easily, “without them, you answers are so very unclear.”
you stopped your pace, shutting your eyes. obviously, nikolai only meant to try and persuade you of his reasoning. he was unaware of how the repetition further shattered the pieces of your heart.
“stop asking,” you requested unevenly, “i cannot marry you because i cannot be a queen.”
“cannot or will not?” nikolai dropped his calm disposition. his words now swam through endless seas of exasperation.
eyes widening at his assumption, you glared, “your people will not accept a grisha on the throne. they will not make an exception for love because they cannot understand how such a thing between you and i could exist.”
albeit offended, nikokai softened, “and i wish i could do more to protect you but even i am unable to offer you reprieve from your own doubts.”
however bold or brash his words seemed, you took them because there was no other conceivable explanation. you refused to argue with him further, not when your remaining moments were already beginning to slip away.
“you have too much hope in the world.”
nikolai scoffed, knocking his shoulder into yours. you saw through his sly smirk and glowing grin, and he knew it. the fox could hide away from just about anybody but never you—not that he ever wanted to.
so, he would pretend for a minute or two, rile you up with his plethora of personalities. then, he would sober up, resounded to your ability to penetrate his defenses. your keen awareness of every notch in his armor, every foothold to climb his fortress, both aggravated and comforted him simultaneously.
“somebody has to,” he chided you, content to snake an arm around your waist and pull you flush against his side, “i don’t want to forget.”
“forget what?” you questioned, turning to face him more fully as a soft pout formed on your features.
“that i have this,” he motioned to your entwined limbs, “you,” he kissed your forehead, “to come back to. i only ever hoped my heart would find its home.”
you stilled. surely, an artist from above could have captured the moment perfectly because of it. they would have to gently shade your individual silhouettes into one, execute the softness of his gaze, and reproduce the muted lighting with watercolor.
you liked to organize your life into two categories; there was the before nikolai lantsov and the after him. before saltwater became the first thing to invade your senses in the mornings, you would have set fire to the bridge of any desperate man’s creation. after you learned to never assume anything impossible, you willingly gave up a piece of your heart to the most lovesick of them all. the one you simply could not have.
gingerly grabbing ahold of his fingers, you aimed to kiss the tip of each one. as always, he pulled away before allowing you to complete your objective. with a frown, you ran your thumb over his cheek.
“i only got to six. none of that,” you minded him with a calm look, “sobachka,” you began to warn him.
“it’s more than five,” he commented with a reference to the day before. quickly, he kissed you to remove any possibility of a retort. you could not escape his lips even if you intended to try, which you did not.
the need for air ultimately pulled you away from nikolai. you frowned discontentedly his way, still frustrated by his actions. you understood his insecurities and accepted the validity of his feelings, but it did not ease the pain of watching him crumble before your eyes.
“my love,” you urged, “i have never understood many things and ended up running,” you held him off with a look, “but i want to stay and learn every part of you.”
bashful, he tucked his head into your neck.
“you have to spare some hope for yourself,” you said softly, leaning your head onto his.
he groaned, indicative of him sourly acknowledging your truth. you turned to kiss his temple, giving your lips the respite to linger just beneath his curls. you sucked in a breath when he responded with one of his own, planted upon the column of your throat. tender yet unexpected.
“but i want you to have it,” he responded, careful to inject the appropriate dose of his personality to make you smile without doubt of his sincerity being a means of withdrawal from the subject.
rolling your lips into your mouth, you melted under his gaze and into his arms, “okay.”
he smiled as radiantly as the sun, with a blush to match the artistry of it setting. you thought you could stay in that moment with him, that not even he could carry you to the next quite yet. you should have known better to predict his unpredictable behavior.
“so,” he drew out, “marry me, then.”
“nik-,” you breathed, fighting a losing battle with a smile of your own. his persistence did not force you to agree, rather charmed you to.
“no!” he cut off deliberately, “no,” the delivery of his words now intentionally softer.
“nikolai,” you enunciated, “if i’m a queen,” you caught the exact second light filtered back into his eyes, “i will never have you again in the same way—not how i do now, at least.”
“i don’t understand,” he frowned between his mumble of the phrase.
“we will be closer than ever before,” you voiced, “but i fear that could push us further apart than we have ever been,” you expressed with a sunken tone.
not letting you pull away either emotionally or physically, he took you into his arms. already feeling more grounded, you breathed in his scent of sea and pine. he was all around you, and it was enough.
“i could never not love you,” he countered.
“that’s not what i’m saying,” you refuted, “but what if you don’t like me anymore? after we are stressed and overwhelmed and stubbornly disagreeing?”
nikolai giggled, kissing every inch of your face, “i like every single piece of you,” his thumbs slipped down your cheeks and onto your throat, pushing your head back for further access, “i like you more than any travel i have been on, any adventure i have sought, and more than any squabble we might face.”
looking up at him under a thick set of eyelashes, you quirked a crooked smile, “really?”
“oh, yes,” he divulged, “i like you more than anyone else—even myself,” he began to taunt you, “and i happen to like myself quite a bit.”
“fine,” you relented with a light sigh, “let me show you just how much i like you and i’ll be your queen.”
a smirk stretched across his face but before he could dip his head to yours, you grabbed his hands away from your neck.
“i like you,” you began with a breath, leaning forward to kiss each of his fingertips, “one, two, three,” you continued as he watched you delicately, “eight, nine, ten.”
blinking rapidly, his gaze softened, “don’t be my queen,” nikolai mouthed, a single breath away from your lips, “continue to be my best friend, the woman i look for in every room, the reason time moves way too fast.”
“thank you for sharing your hope with me,” you spoke and drew your lips in a straight line, “thank you for letting me be in love with you.”
“i never let you do anything,” he began to sway, “could only hope you would keep coming back.”
“i’m in love with you,” you insisted, “and i happen to like that very much.”

Headcanon Childhood & Marriage
please note: aemma's portrayal is heavily based on book canon, since the show gave us very little of her
Aemma was ten years old when she was sent to King’s Landing by her father, Lord Rodrik Arryn, who had previously agreed to betroth his daughter to prince Viserys the following year. To make her acquainted with the young prince and life at the Keep, it was agreed to take in the child and raise her at the capital from that day on. Given that Aemma was closest in age to Daemon, who was a year older than her, she spent more time with him than with her betrothed, but greatly enjoyed being at King’s Landing. She was very fond of her grandmother and uncle Baelon, as well as her cousin Rhaenys. At the age of one and ten, Aemma was married to her five year older cousin Viserys, but due to her age, not much changed after that day. She was not expected to share chambers with him, nor was she supposed to be anything other than a child. Her education continued and she found herself on several adventures with Daemon, who had a habit of persuading her into mischief.
Two years after her marriage vows were exchanged, Aemma bled for the first time and against the advice of the Grand Maester and his grandmother, Viserys took his young wife to his bed. The line of succession was up to much debate at this point and whilst Rhaenys already had a child, Viserys did not, so he found it important to secure his own line and conceive children with Aemma. Unfortunately, that proved harder than either one had anticipated, which the Maester also blamed on her age. In the first year after she turned into a woman, Aemma had several miscarriages, until at the age of four and ten, she finally gave birth to a son, who was named Aemon in honor of her uncle. Everyone was overjoyed upon the birth of the little prince and Aemma could not have loved him more. Sadly, a week into his life, Aemon died in the cradle and left his parents devastated.
At five and ten, Aemma gave birth to a baby girl, who she named Rhaenyra in honor of her favorite cousin Rhaenys. The little princess did not solve their need for a son, but she was very beloved nonetheless and doted on by both of her parents. Unlike her older brother, she thrived and survived infancy without any complications. Aemma was always cautious with her, did not allow many people to handle the babe and rarely left her out of sight. As Rhaenyra grew, she proved to be a healthy, happy little girl with the same temperament of her uncle Daemon. Always moving, always up to something. And though Aemma worried when she scaled trees and walls, she was glad that her daughter was strong and healthy enough to do so. Even though her marriage with Viserys was not a love match, the two grew contented with each other over the years. They were fond of each other and Aemma cared deeply for her husband, just as he cared for her. Their marriage was a happy one, in many ways, and the only point of argument was Viserys’ desperate desire for a son, which led Aemma to suffer more and more through the years and various pregnancies after Rhaenyra was born, none of which lasted longer than her fifth moon cycle. It was a great pressure that rested on the young woman’s shoulders and had she had a say in it, she would have not tried for another child. Her little girl was always enough for her and she often wished that the same had been true in the case of her husband, who undoubtedly loved his girl, but longed for more.
In 103 AC, the old King Jaehaerys passed away and Aemma became Queen consort. It was nothing she had expected, when she had been married to Viserys at the age of one and ten, but she did her best as Queen in the short 2 years that she lived to fill the position ( verse dependent. Aemma either dies when Rhaenyra is 8 in book lore or 14 according to the show ). In 105 AC she was pregnant once more and carried the babe to full term this time, something that gave everyone great hope. The pregnancy was miserable from beginning to end, however, and Aemma had a bad feeling about it. When her labor began, it did not feel like her experiences before and she could tell right away that something was amiss. After hours and hours of no progress, the decision was made to cut her open and save the babe, because the Maester was sure that she would die anyway. Aemma begged her husband not to do it, as the knife cut already into her, unwilling to leave her little girl alone in a world that swallowed women whole, but no one listened to her. And so Queen Aemma died at the age of three and twenty ( or eight and twenty in show canon ), and whilst her son Baelon lived at first, he only survived a day, before he followed his mother to the grave.

"Just - hic - one more, Master Diluc!" Filled with the nightlife atmosphere in Angel's Share, Venti decided to join as well for the sake of sharing the same joy every Mondstadtian holds.
"You do know that these aren't free.." Diluc grumbles, a look of irritation visible on his face. "And don't you think you've had enough? You've had 33 glasses now."
"Ah, I can never get enough of Master Diluc's amazing brew!" the small bard exclaims. Diluc's face remained unchanged by the complement and went to make another glass for him. "You better pay for these."
"Haha, oh, Master Diluc, aren't you the jokester." Venti giggles. "I'm not joking," Diluc plainly said. "Haha, oh well.. Anyway.." Sounds of chatter drown out the taller male's warning that night by a loud bard who was starting to become tipsier with each drink.
After a couple more drinks- actually, it totalled to 50- Venti was now showing signs of passing out with his head on the counter, aside from occasional giggles and hiccups. Diluc grumbles in complete disbelief. Now that the bard was drunk, there was no way he would listen to his words.
An irritated sigh left the tavern owner's lips, seeing as he could do nothing about it. "I'll make sure you pay for it tomorrow so just go home," Diluc said to the bard who luckily listened, walking drunkenly out the tavern. "Thanks, Master Diluc!"
The cold air of the night brushed past the skin of the male, giggling as it tickles him. Oh how much he loves the wind so much.
Tonight, Venti did not go home- if he even has one- and instead, walk straight out of the city's gate; heading towards Starsnatch Cliff where he knew someone was sitting there all in her lonesomeness.
"(Y/N)!" the bard cheery voice made its way to your ears, making you turn to look at him. He waves and drunkenly giggles. "Venti, what are you doing here?"
"Hehe, I thought that my goddess wouldn't be asleep at this time and was here~" he answers, sitting down beside you. One sniff of him and your face wrinkled as if you were smelling a garbage site. "Ew, you went to the tavern again!?"
"Ehe." He shrugs, eyes closing into crescents as he smiled. You shook your head and brought your knees close to your chest, hugging it. You did not want to further push about the boring topic as it was quite often he would try to get wine from Diluc so silence was the only thing you could do.
You look at the stars in awe, a small smile tugging the corner of your lips. "It's quite nice today-- even the weather," you stated randomly. Venti leans back, using his arms as support. He took a glance at your soft figure before averting it to the sky you were seeing. "Even if it was cold, I would control the wind to make it warm for you," he points out, a smile of his own visible on his face.
In the midst of another silence, Venti's drunken state had his eyes started to wander on you, eyes tracing your face down to every detail. Your eyes that were half-lidded, your nose that was ever so his favourite feature, your lips-- oh let us not get into detail as to how much he loves those lips. Soon, his eyes wandered down to your neck and the strands of hair resting on it to tease him.
It might just be him being drunk and deluded or the atmosphere, but something in him wanted to do more than just looking at you.
With that being said, his hands slowly encircled your waist and drew you closer to him so that he could rest his chin on your shoulders. To you, it was just him wanting to hold you; nothing too suspicious and you continued to dismiss him.
However, that innocent thought was no longer when you felt his hands rub your sides in a slow and lustful manner. "V, Venti..!" you stutter, eyes widening as you look at him from the corner of your eyes.
He hums, eyes closed. "What is it, (Y/N)?" his voice still holding the same cheeky persona as his smile just grew wider. "U, um..!!" Your words died out on your tongue, the sudden rise of heat too overwhelming for you.
His lips made their way to your earlobe. "What's wrong, (Y/N)? Are you unwell?" he asks, a smirk replacing his playful smile. You bit your bottom lip and closed your eyes, unsure of what to do as you felt something in your stomach. It was like a fluttering feeling when you see your crush, but quite different.
"Do you.. Want me to help you, (Y/N)?" he breathlessly asks and went to nibble the sensitive part of your ears. A whimper that escaped your throat failed you which just urge the male further. His lips then slowly made their way to your neck and he was suddenly washed with the intoxication of your smell.
Not waiting for a reaction, he starts off by licking your neck and soon, sucking it hard enough to leave a mark. Once again, another whimper left you. You felt embarrassed by the sounds you had made, but the growing heat in the atmosphere was too much for you to fight.
One of his hands made its way down your body, rubbing your thighs as the other massages one of your breasts. Your chests start to expand wider with each breath you take.
Venti's hands soon returned to your chest and began to unbutton your shirt ever so skillfully. Once it was fully undone to the last button, he moves in front of you, pushing you down the grass and hovering on top of you.
His eyes were filled with lust and craved for you and your body. Hungrily, he smashes his lips onto yours and had a full heated session. He licked the bottom of your lips and you obliged, opening your mouth to allow his tongue to adventure inside, winning dominance.
He went back and suck the other side of your neck, also leaving a mark there as his hands unclip your bra, kneading your breast between his fingers.
At that point, heat, too, filled your body and made your mind hazy, letting out a moan. Soon, his lips trailed downwards and took the other breast in his mouth. He continued to do so and switched to give the same attention to the other.
His hand went lower, pulling your skirt down to your thighs. Teasingly, he rubs his fingers on your clothed cunt and you moaned yet again. "Hehe, you are so naughty, (Y/N)~ Already this wet for me?" he says, continuing to run through the article.
Soon, he had enough of the teasing and pulled down your last piece of clothing, leaving you fully exposed to the cool air of the night while he was still fully clothed.
"Tell me, (Y/N), what do you want me to do~?" he asks, pressing his cold fingers on your cunt, making you whimper. When you didn't say anything, he leaned closer to your ears and whispered, "If you don't tell me.." He moves his fingers teasingly. "I could just leave it here~"
"N, no..!" You shot your eyes wide open, revealing your desperation and lust. "Hm~? Then tell me, what is it that you want me to do?" He smiles and his eyes were overshadowed with a dark playfulness.
"P, please.. I, I want your fingers.. In me.." you say, a bit embarrassed at the dirty words that left your tongue. Venti chuckles, but answered to your wish, plunging one finger inside which made you moan. Urged on by the sound, he entered a second one. "Look at you~ So greedy for my touch."
You weren't listening to his words as he starts pumping his fingers, slow at first to make you just whimper. "What do you want me to do now, (Y/N)?" he asks once again. "Is this too slow for you?"
"Please.. G, go faster..!" Again, listened to your wish and started to pump faster, adding two more fingers in the mix. He returns to attack your breast and bit your nipples and his free hand went to massage the other.
The stimulation was too much for you, being touched everywhere soon made a knot inside of you that was waiting to be snapped at any moment. "V, Venti..!" That was all he needed to hear for him to stop, moving away from you.
You look at him, confused and upset, but that was soon answered as he stood up and pulled both his pants and undergarments down. "(Y/N), why don't you be a good girl and repent?" he beckons you to go on your knees.
You listened, getting on your knees and bringing your face closer to his cock that was dripping with precum. "Well? Don't tell me you don't wish to repent." You gulped and slowly bring your lips to the tip of his dick, licking the precum off of it.
You felt him shudder from above which urged you on. You opened your mouth and brought half of it inside your mouth, earning a groan from the male.
You then started to suck on his cock and another moan erupted from his vocal cords, putting a gentle hand on your head. You only sucked halfway of it and pumped the rest, not wanting to choke.
When it has gotten to a point that was much to his pleasure, he grabbed a fistful of your hair and pushed your head; pushing his cock deeper into your mouth. You moaned on his cock, feeling it touch the back of your mouth and made you gag.
"Don't stop now, (Y/N). After all, you want to be forgiven right?" He tugs on your hair and you continued. Venti became a moaning mess, guiding your head as he does so. And soon, you felt his cock twitch inside you. You suck him faster, wanting to help him in his release.
Followed by a long moan, he fills your mouth with his juice, keeping your head locked on his dick so that you don't waste a single drop.
Once you gulped all of them down, he pulls away. "Aren't you a good girl~?" he coos. "You deserve a reward so why don't you get on your hands and knees for me, hm?"
You listened, wanting to get your own release as well. He got behind you and you felt excitement wash through you and the knot that was still there.
He put his hands on your breasts, giving it a little squeeze. "Are you sure about this, (Y/N)?" he whispers in your ear. "You can always tell me to stop, okay?" You nod.
With that, he moved his wet cock inside you. You whimpered at the overwhelming foreign heat that entered you. Venti was patient with you and waited for you to adjust to the feeling.
"P, please move.." you say breathlessly after a while. Venti listened and started to enter and leave your hole, building up his stimulation once more.
Moans, pants, and lust filled that night and at each thrust, he went faster and faster as you grip onto the grass, feeling your legs numbing. "Harder, Venti..!" you cried out, the knot close to breaking.
His grip on your waist was for sure going to leave marks on your skin, but that didn't matter to your right now.
He pulls out completely but quickly slams it back inside you. Your head jerks up and moaned loudly. The sight of the was stars blurring as you were being pounded into and drool went down the corner of your mouth.
Venti's thrust became sloppier and sloppier by the second. He buried his face on your shoulders and bit it hard enough that it drew blood, but you were too focused on the pleasure that you hadn't noticed.
"V, Venti, I--" At that moment, the knot snapped and you came on his dick. Venti thrusts a couple more times before he, too, came inside you, groaning as his second wave was finally released.
He fell on top of you, both your legs too weak to carry the weight of your bodies. He didn't take himself out just yet and listen to the two of you pant.
"Let's go home, hm?" he suggests between heavy breathing. You nod and watch as he pulls out, letting out a whimper at the sudden emptiness inside you.
He dresses himself up first and later helped you since you were unable to do it and carried you home. "I love you, (Y/N)." He kisses the side of your head, watching you slowly fall asleep.
