People honestly portray Tuvok as far too "rolling his eyes, reluctantly going along with Janeway's silly little shenanigans" - he's literally so serious about being right there with her on every decision she makes. Janeway's like "I'm going to stay behind if the ship blows up" and Tuvok's like "I'm staying with you." Janeway's like "I'm going to deliver every member of the Equinox crew into the jaws of death via an alien revenge massacre" and Tuvok protests a grand total of one time before being fully on the bridge assisting her. He was the only one with her when she made the decision to honor the caretaker's wishes and save the Ocampa, dooming them all. He was willing to get court marshalled in order to fulfill a wish she couldn't grant by her own hand: Get them home [no matter what happens to me] <- wherein 'me' is Tuvok. This was the same wish that spurred him forward when he had to leave her on that planet and everyone left thought him cold for trying to fulfill it without her when in his mind it was akin to a dying wish, the last thing she'd ever express to him: Get them home [no matter what happens to me.] <- wherein 'me' is Janeway. He told Seven that the golden rule to follow is that the captain is "ALWAYS RIGHT" <- (His ACTUAL words) and when Seven asks if the captain should be followed even if someone KNOWS she's wrong he says "Perhaps." This man is perhaps the most ride or die dude in the universe about Janeway. Despite her labeling him her 'moral compass' he is by NO means impartial or unbiased. He'd defend her to his last breath. He canonically makes detailed psychological observations about her and has for years. He accounts for her luck when calculating the success of certain plans. It's implied in 'Twisted' that Janeway typically listens to Tuvok's suggestions and follows them nearly without fail - to the point that he's surprised and obviously irritated when Chakotay doesn't. Despite this they've been inside one another's quarters so infrequently that Tuvok can remember each instance. They call each other "Captain" and "Mr. Tuvok" even though they've known each other for twenty years. There's something wrong with them.

Chasebank (as in river bank)
You know, it's an unconventional setup, but I'll take it as a valid warrior name. As is Checkbounce.

Do people not realise that using Vecna tormenting Will about his complicated feelings towards El to make Will out to be a bad person who just hates her is literally exactly what Vecna does lmfao. That’s his whole MO—he digs into the character’s pain and twists things, convinces them their worst thoughts and fears are who they truly are, tries to make them succumb to the black hole of their trauma. He doesn’t reveal some secret dark evil truth in the person, he exploits their internalised suffering and tells them they are an awful person for it. I fear the point of the show went straight over some heads…….

Elminster's Letter / God of Ambition epilogue
Do you recall the day we first met, m'boy?
You could have been no more than eight summers' old, clutching your mother's apron, eyebrows singed off by the fireball you'd unleashed into your neighbour's rose bush. You were crying because the flowers were so beautiful, and you did mean to destroy them.
How kind, how eager, how brilliant you were. And yet so naive. You could not yet see that power so careless begets destruction, but so too might your good nature be the guiding light by which your bailities might shape our world for the better.
Where is that child now, I wonder? Did he remain at Blackstaff, nose buried in his books? Does he live within his mother's ageing heart, weeping for those roses? Or is he within you still, lost amongst the trappings of godhood you so casually adorn yourself with?
Whereever he is, I hope he can forgive me. To him I promise - I will not make the same mistakes again.
Elminster

I feel like Jason would wind up married for some reason and just not tell anyone. And then one of his henchmen, while fighting the Bats during one of their weekly ideological disputes on how to handle a shared problem would go, "No wonder he hates you guys, you're ruining his damn honeymoon!" and all hell would break loose.

there's a moment in lesson 45 of nightbringer where mc falls off a thing (again?? is this foreshadowing?? i'm going to rule-of-three this and wait to see if it happens again) and satan tries and fails to grab their hand to catch them, but now i'm imagining the same thing happening with satan and ik except he does succeed, but it's her right hand and the prosthetic just POP comes straight off

I really wonder how Trickster feels at this point as the only member of his family whose only encounters with the Doctor had been via a beetle whose time meddling led to the Doctor's death briefly only to be defeated by Donna Noble and the timeline undone and via the wedding of former companion Sarah Jane, only to be defeated once more not by the Doctor again but instead, Sarah Jane and her kids (again in their case lol) alongside the latest pawn of his to go fuck you and take back the deal with him.

in most bad future timeline interpretations i see people make leo and raph close with no or very little complications, which is always fun and cute, but also considering how resolving their conflict is so central to the movie, i really like to imagine that in the bad timeline they never did. give me future leo and raph that degraded so so horribly that their relationship was unsalvageable. wouldnt it make that so heartbreaking, for f!raph to die before they ever get to resolve this decades long running conflict because the stress of the apocalypse tore them apart?
for the record its a big reason i (in cvd in particular but also in general) like to posit the idea of donnie dying first and not raph, just because the idea of leo looking into the eyes of his older brother who WARNED him the day this all started that this would happen and having to live with that guilt would be so painful. would it be worse if raph blamed him, or if he didn't judge him at all, and tried to reach out because he understood the kind of weight this would have on leo, only for leo to pull away and make it worse out of so much shame and anger, because it's so much easier to direct that towards someone else in his extremes of grief? yelling at him that he was right, doesn't he want to rub it in?????? (and of course raph would be so horrified and offended by the idea of it, and it'd only make things worse! raph can be really temperamental and impatient he's not a saint, and with things being so high-stress... yeah!)
wouldnt it be painful if, when f!raph died, leo found himself utterly horrified by the fact that he doesnt really have the time or energy to grieve at all? is it because he's still in survival mode or just because of how rocky their relationship was? does he feel like a monster? is f!raph's death the thing that really propels him fully towards responsibility?
and like obviously, how would this all affect mikey, who wants nothing more than to see his family get along????
do u see my vision

The Warners' Surprisingly Fitting Concerns
You know, I never gave it much thought (outside of this dumb joke) but each Warner's verse in "We Could Try to Do It, Santa" fits their personality pretty well and is about the thing they'd naturally be the most concerned about in that situation.
Yakko's Verse:
At first his verse is about how they can't deliver the presents without Santa's magic and how they'd have to upgrade Santa's sleigh so it can fly fast enough to travel the world in one night, but then it's revealed his true major concern is how that would result in the reindeer getting hurt:
"Prancer and the others might burn up if we're that fast"
"And a sonic boom would work its way through Dasher, Donner, Dancer,
Soon engulfing Cupid, Comet; Santa, this can't be the answer!
See the last thing that we'd wanna do is make the reindeer yelp!"
Tumblr media
As a protective older sibling, naturally Yakko would assume Santa of all people would want to protect the reindeer given that they are under his care, like how Yakko tries to protect his sibs. I think the switch up in the verse's focus also reflects how although Yakko's snarky yet jovial nature means he's not quick to be emotionally open and often hides or undercuts his sincerity with snark or humour; he still clearly deeply cares for his sibs and that will eventually show.

Wakko's Verse:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well Wakko's verse is unsurprisingly about food, but I also wanna point out how it easily has the most extreme consequences of the three, given that the whole of Earth shatters.
Tumblr media
This reflects how Wakko tends to go to extremes the most out of the Warners. Need to do a gag about having eyes at the back your head? Wakko will have nine rather than just two. The Warners are bouncing on springs during an earthquake? Wakko's bouncing on a spring upside down, etc.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The little guy loves being extra.
Dot's Verse:
Dot suggests spying on people in her verse. Dot specifically would be the Warner to sing about this when you remember her whole schtick is acting cute and innocent, but being way tougher, craftier and more violent than she appears.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She more than anyone would know that there's often more to people than meets the eye, and hence would be the one to point out the need for wiretaps, logs of web searches, etc. until they had a "constant feed of every single child on Earth" if they wanted to know what the each child in the world was truly like.

We all know that the reason why Bruce Wayne isn't religiously Jewish is because dc are cowards, but also because many of the community itself is cowards. I personally believe it comes from a lack of knowledge about what it even means to be religious because most of the community is Christian or culturally Christian. So as someone that would probably be considered not religious by Christians, but Religious by most other Jewish people, I think that Bruce Wayne fits in this section of being Jewish.
Bruce can't go to the Synagogue often because of the whole being Batman stuff, but he still goes on the high holidays when he can. He celebrates with the Kane family as well! And Kate would obviously understand if he couldn't come because she's Batwoman! Give me a Bruce Wayne says Yiddish curses. Give me a Batman that has a bunch of Chanukkiot that are just so pretty because they are rich and definitely have a ton. Give me Batfamily shabbat dinners when they are able to. Rest days on Saturday for the Jewish members when they are more members in the Batfam to make it work (and it being a mitzvah when he does have to be Batman on Shabbat because its a mitzvah to save a life). Give me Mezuzot on every entryway. Give me a Bruce Wayne who inherited his mother's seder plates and actually uses them. Give me a Bruce Wayne that says stuff like kein ayin hara before giving good news! Give me a confused Dick Grayson when Bruce insults him (its actually a compliment, but to ward against the evil eye you will say the opposite of what you mean) and then Bruce having to explain after he realizes that Dick has no idea why he just insulted him. Give me a Batman that follows Jewish values (more than he canonically does)
Just because someone ins't actively involved within a wider community of that Religion doesn't mean they aren't Religious! Or at least don't give me a culturally Jewish Bruce Wayne that doesn't do any of this. Thats just you stripping away all the Jewish parts of him.
Bruce Wayne is Jewish and you can't just ignore that
#The kane family is there from when he is a kid to when hes an adult#meaning they definitely had a hand in raising him#I think its very odd that alfred the bodyguard turned butler of the waynes to have been the one to canonically raise him#while his entire maternal side of the family is still alive and kicking#like guys please come on#and also I think it would be very weird that alfred didn't bring Bruce to his maternal family#that would just be out of character imo#but yeah I think its very small minded to think of being religious as a belief in god and going to church#because that is a very very small portion about what it means to be religious to me#also! I based off the Kane's name origin it would be very likely for the Kanes to be Irish Jews#oh and one more thing#Just because I consider him to be just Jewish doesn't mean that its impossible for him to be dual faith#We have no idea what religion Thomas was#we could say christian#but I like to say thats from Alfred and any christian stuff that the Batfam celebrate is not because of Bruce#but is actually from Alfred and any of the kids that are Christian/culturally Christian#nevermind have another thought on top of this mess#why would Richard Grayson ever be considered christian#press x to doubt#while I know nothing about Romani religious practices and I know that is on purpose from their community which I respect#the community does know that Dick is Romani#meaning he would follow their religious practices#which I think he would follow extra hard after the death of his parents#and there is also the argument that he could be jewish if he was raised in a household that is Jewish and holds Jewish values#but yeah the Wayne manor has only one confirmed christian in it and its Alfred#batman#batfam#bruce wayne#kane family#kate kane

yay my child has been birthed out from your ask box
perhaps the stork will bring another one tonight...
in the mean time, consider a sentient Vector Sigma, who would like a body to walk around with pretty please. Because being an immobile super computer can get pretty boring sometimes, especially when the archive is having a slow day. Dataslut Prowl volunteers to let him borrow his frame ;) -🔌
mhmm dataslut Prowl would love to have his processor completely overtaken by another, it would make him so full, his brain would be so fuzzy and achy as his own consciousness is put on the backburner to make space for Vector Sigma. ... Of course, Vector Sigma would let him watch as he has fun in Prowl's body :)
