No you know what, I'll slap it together.
So our first bit of evidence comes from the new blog itself.
Now if you compare to the other insulin scammer I've looked at, this one acts a lot more like that paypal-jumper scammer from a while ago. About that time, though, I got an angry anon (lol) to mind my own business. Funnily enough, I had at the time assumed it was from the insulin scammer that was going around then, but actually, I may have been hit by "apollo's dodgeball"...
The cipher at the bottom of the reply?
Tumblr media
"But Spidermod, that doesn't-" Hold on. Let's get back to the current scam for a second. [And here's where I put a cut, because it's going to get long and very uh, "Charlie in the mailroom".]
So the first thing of note here is that it's the same exact scammer. But I didn't go looking up Key's post until AFTER I had found the old URL. I needed the url in order to do that. See, it turns out that my twitter investigation turned out a reply that upon donating, someone got harassed by money requests. The user denied this and claimed to be unable to do so. [Reminds me of someone!]
Tumblr media
I had a name to work with from the twitter and stumbled across this. Of course, the OP was deactivated. So uh, that's when I decided "I bet Key's got it archived". CORRECT. So if you look at the original version of the post with the archived "old paypal", a smashed-in version of the name given looks a lot like uh... wanngera.
Tumblr media
Which happens to be another scam blog that I tracked to a twitter with an extremely similar twitter-matching situation. It just so happens that this time someone called out the scammer for spamming, and I was able to see that before it was deleted. This previous one though, that went down really fast before there could be any further slip-ups.
So I think it was last Tuesday 11/7 when a blog had the exact same scam as the wanngeras blog up. I had not registered the url in my mind and there wasn't proof yet so I didn't make a proper post about it until I remembered it was familiar. I also uh, was out for the count that day. HOWEVER. The only blog that didn't have THAT good of proof yet was 'milkydonutsh'. //Laura admitted to being milkydonutsh.
Below link: LONG AS HELL but it has a detail that I further want to take into consideration. It's important and probably a helpful read but the whole thing isn't immediately relevant to this post, most of it is context at this exact moment.
So there was the "cancer girl that didn't get very far" and that blog was deleted very quickly. I propose that that particular blog was wanngeras. Laura's known for taking her crap to twitter.
I propose that since the widelys blog (also Laura) whose story mirrored a twitter I found and the fact that I was able to get the exact same situation for the wanngeras blog, AND the fact that the same thing came true for the current scammer... the current insulin scam is in fact Laura Deramas.
If you research/know Laura's general tactics/behaviors it matches up actually pretty well. To the point where even if anyone else were to admit to this [extremely likely not], they'd have to be absolutely hellbent on copying her for some weird reason or another, and I doubt anyone would attempt that.

@jughead-is-canonically-aroace (great url btw) asked me to make my additions to this post rebloggable on their own. for reference if anyone wants it, this is a pretty good write up of the whole ongoing situation
~~*~~*~~
Having read the thread, along with a number of other connected threads, there is no reason the believe AO3 is going to go down
(that's not to say you shouldn't back up your own fics, or save copies of other people's fics for personal use, it's always a good idea to have backups)
the linked thread is discussing institutional problems with OTW's Legal and Policy & Abuse committees (although the latter primarily in the ways the thread's author believes they are being negatively impacted by legal)
It's primarily a conversation about the OTW having structural problems and being slow to react/change when needed, but three accusations of specific breaches of the law which could get the OTW into trouble are made:
That the OTW does not retain works PAC identify as containing CSAM/CSEM for the legal minimum period of 90 days
That the OTW suspends rather than deletes the accounts of those identifies as being under 13 so that they can restore the account once the user is over the minimum user age, which is a breach of COPPA
Same as above, but this is a breach of GDPR
None of these could get AO3 taken down, and 2 of them are provably untrue
Systems have confirmed the first point is not true. While works are not retained on the archive for the 90 days, the archive keeps complete back-ups for longer than that, so the work can be restored if needed by the authorities. This is, as rahaeli points out, a pretty inefficient way of handling things, but being inefficient is not a breach of the law
Rahaeli corrects themself in their own thread when they realise that COPPA does not apply to the specific type of non-profit AO3 is, so that's moot
The GDPR point is slightly more complicated. I'm not a lawyer, but I work in the finance industry in the UK handling massive quanities of personal data, so I am required by law to be trained on GDPR.
Email addresses are not automatically personal data under GDPR. They can be, but only if they contain other personal information. So if your email is brony47@gmail, that's not personal data. If it's john.smith@company it is, because it contains your wallet name and employer. So, while it's fairly unlikely when dealing with AO3 accounts belonging to under 13s, especially as school issued emails are basically never wallet names because they just deal with too many people for that to be sustainable, it is technically possible that retaining this info is a breach of GDPR.
However, even if AO3 was found to have breached GDPR, that would not result in the website being taken down with no warning or fics being purged. That's not how any of this works.
AO3 would face fines (I don't actually know how those fines work for non-profits, since they're usually a % of annual turnover - I assume donations would be treated as turnover for the ICO's purposes, but I may be wrong about that).
It's possible that fine could be steep enough that the archive couldn't meet server costs and would ultimately need to shut down, but the ICO do not possess the ability to shut the site down, and AO3 owns its own servers so if the worst happened and the archive shut down, they would have plenty of time to warn people. It would not just vanish, that's not what the ICO does.
(The specific affected account would be need to be deleted, but since it would already be suspended and invisible to users, that would not affect any end-users)
(Also the entire process of it going through the ICO and being debated to get to the point of the fine would probably take at least a year, this is a massive pan-european beauracratic body, it is not famous for its efficiency)
None of this is me saying rahaeli doesn't have valid points, or that reform isn't needed, generally I agree that it is, and I think rahaeli's suggestions about what to change sound reasonable, although I'm not an expert and not on either of the affect teams, so that's just some rando's opinion.
But the this post is not about that, this post is about people worrying about the archive being taken down, and again, that is not what is going on here!
TLDR; back up fics if you want, but AO3 is not in legal trouble, and even if it was, the type of legal trouble being discussed would not result in the entire archive just going down without prior warning
Additionally, since a few people mentioned this in tags and reblogs, AO3 is set up in such a way that there is almost no risk of a griffindor's tower 'mod infighting tanks the website' type situation. No one committee has that power, and the OTW has lost its entire board before now and AO3 continuted to function. (That's actually part of the cause of the problems being discussed, because decentralised power makes it resistant to infighting, but the pay off is that it's slow to change, because it requires a lot of different officers and other volunteers to work together)

In this digital technology age, where everything is available online, reading an eBook has its own charm for many of us. Whichever business you are in, you obviously want more subscribers and traffic – after all, they mean more sales. eBooks have become an integral and unavoidable source of information for us about such businesses. There are many sources of creating eBooks available in the market. Still, most of them have significant disadvantages, such as poorly designed templates and are highly unreliable. With plenty of time available in the current scenario, more people are indeed turning to reading online. If you are an eBook creator, this is the best time for you to come up with a new one! Creating an eBook is quite a challenging task with writing, formatting, and designing to be taken care of. You need to develop an inspiringly presentable eBook if you want to stay in the publishing industry. As one who always wanted to bring eBooks into the market, I was never completely satisfied with the various tools available in the market – something was amiss. I then came across Sqribble eBook creator. It is a cloud-based software that can help you in creating ebooks quickly. It is self-sufficient with readymade templates and drag-and-drop designs, which make your task oh-so-simple! What is Sqribble? A cloud-based software, Sqribble comes with plenty of templates that you can use with just a click of the mouse button. Freelancers, marketing agencies, and professionals are best benefitted from the tool. It changes your entire outlook on creating an eBook. It saves the hassle of looking out for templates, settings, typing the content, editing, and other ebook creation issues. Sqribble helps in writing, creating an eBook, and publishing too. I found using the software quite easy to create content, design the pages, and format my file. It is very device-friendly, so there is no need to install special plugins for every step (This is usually the case with several software that I find extremely annoying!). How does it work? As I mentioned earlier, Sqribble is a very easy-to-use tool. Once you watch the demo video, you will get a clear idea of how to use it. Once you have a good grip on the tool, all you need to do is pick a template from the wide range available. Each template has a content page also, and hence it is easy to reach the audience to convince them. Sometimes it so happens you may not have the time to write the eBook, and it is here that Sqribble can play a crucial role. You just need to feed the URLs in the specified space, and the tool generates content afresh for readers. Or, you can just upload the word file, and the tool gets the content. You also have the option to use a built-in content engine that can deliver about 1000 specific articles in a jiffy. Since the templates are customizable, you can always change the color, design, and font as per your choice. You can also add, edit, delete, insert images – anything that you want to make your book presentable. Once you click on ‘generate’, your eBook is ready! You do not need any technical knowledge to use the tool! Sqribble Features It is possible to use private label articles from the library for free. You have the option to create new pages also with different layouts. You can insert a Microsoft word file to fill with your content without resorting to coding or formatting. You can again paste content from any other source into your document. The software takes care of the format and layout automatically. I found the price of the software to be quite affordable considering the profit I would be making once I launch the eBook. I stand to gain time and save a lot of effort when using the software. A few added features that I found in the software that may interest you more include: You are automatically eligible for a license, which will entitle you to sell the books and enjoy profits out of it. You have access to a free of cost agency website where you can showcase your projects and skills.
The creators constantly update their software and fix issues at no extra cost. Pros Very easy to create eBooks that look professional within a few minutes Customized templates and other tools for your advantage You can advertise your services with the help of the website The eBooks you create can be read on all devices You can get feedback from clients, and you can also track them 3D cover creator, flipbook creator, and automatic table content generator are to your advantage Money-back guarantee within 30 days after purchase in specific cases Cons You may not get proper training in selling the book Usage of eBooks is fading slowly, according to some critics With a fixed number of templates, you may run out of them after sometime Some vital features are covered behind upsells You don’t have an automatic saving the content feature, and you are continually being reminded to save your work. You may also need to upgrade for accessing many designs, components, and resources once you have started work and there is no undo option. You do not have your own color palettes. Final verdict The Sqribble tool is for any internet marketer and comes with many functionalities that other eBook creator tools do not offer. This looks to be a very legitimate way to make appealing and professional-looking eBooks very quickly and with templates of your choice. The whole process is smooth and rungs without any technical glitches. I rate the product a full five stars! Though some eBook writers have pointed out a few problems with the software, if you are looking for quick and simple eBook production assistance, the Sqribble eBook creator is for you. At an affordable price, it is software that helps you in editing and publishing without any technical knowledge!

As someone who posts fic to Tumblr and who has friends who post fic to Tumblr and who reads fic on Tumblr... I gotta say, Tumblr is a terrible place for fic. XD Change your url? All of your links are broken now. If anyone who ever used read mores (which is everyone) deletes or IS deleted, all their fics are Gone Forever. It’s incredibly difficult to tag anything that’s nsfw because any words related to that (like nsfw) will result in the post potentially not showing up in any of the other tags it’s been tagged with. How exactly the tagging and search functions work is a mystery that potentially not even the staff know because Tumblr was haplessly spaghetti coded for so long and the current staff are still desperately trying to comb it out. It’s the digital equivalent to graffiti-ing your fanfic on a wall.
You don’t need to stop and I don’t have a point, it’s just funny to me. I literally just saw a fanfic where the author had deleted their entire blog in the time it took someone to queue it up. It’s like a ghost now, it’s the echo of a fanfic. I touch the like button. Something bad happened here. I really just need to suck it up and learn the exact combination of tags on Ao3 that will get me what I’m looking for.

From Syscourse to Agony Auncles
Hello and welcome to our page. You might have known us at the start as ‘Fuck-Endo-Ablisim’ and when we started on this blog we were only here for Syscourse. Through some unfortunate happenings we’ve come to find there are more than Endos and Tulpas to battle against. The DID/OSDD Community battles every day against discrimination, misinformation, appropriation and invalidation. I’m sure there are other ‘ations’ in there too. Denial and the feeling of being isolated are also common, which is where we come in. Below we’ll explain what you can send to us and what we participate in as well as a small bit about us. We hope you enjoy your stay here. Our inbox is always open.
Tumblr media
➼ What We Do Here ❖ ~
Our aim is to provide a space for Systems to express themselves, ask questions and gain information. We’re looking to make a little corner of the internet where Systems feel safe and validated. We’re also here to learn ourselves! We’re always growing and always trying to understand ourselves and the world around us more. If you spot something we’re misinformed on, please bring it to us! As long as you have evidence to back it up, we’re willing to examine it.
Tumblr media
➼ What We Accept ❖ ~
Syscourse related asks/ links ~ We do accept any and all Syscourse related asks, but this does not mean we owe you an answer. If you send us hate, we might feel like replying, but chances are it will be deleted. We are also not obligated to give you a platform for misinformation. If we know something to be false and we have already explained why- we will delete your ask. Think before you send, please.
Rants/ Vents ~ Well, ‘Agony Auncles’ is in the URL for a reason! We take rants and vents by Systems both privately and for display. We ask that if you intend it to just be ours to read that you specify that when sending it, especially though asks. You are free to DM us about anything at any time, just be aware it could take us some time to get to it.
Questions about being a System ~ We are in our thirties and have been living with DID/OSDD since we were below five years old. We have the unique experience and perspective of having lived this life longer than a lot of the people in this community have been alive. We don't know everything, but we have hunted down a lot of good information and we are not afraid to say ‘We don't know’. Please feel free to ask us any System related Questions. We will do our best to link to proof when required.
DMs ~ Our private messages are always open for advice and venting that you do not want posted anywhere. We read all DMs and we do our best to reply to them as swiftly as possible.
Information ~ If you have research that you want linked in a central source, you are welcomed to submit it to us for review and spread. We will simply screen it to make sure it doesn’t try to twist what DID/OSDD is.
Tumblr media
➼ All Alters Welcome! ❖ ~
We accept interactions from Systems with Alters from 'any' source. Problematic sources, popular sources, obscure sources, fictives, factives and anyone who doesn't know where they fall. We understand that you are not your source, and even if your related to that source, that still is not your choice. If you need to vent about your problematic sources that's absolutly fine too. We ask that you behave respectfully here, especially when interacting with our followers. As long as that boundary is respected you're welcome here.
Note: This blog began as a Rant and Syscourse Blog. Harry Potter Fans and Fictives may see some anti-HP related posts, some of which are not kindly worded. You are still welcome here under this rule. We do not believe in continued interaction with the HP series, but we do understand that Alter's can't just change. We will respect you. This covers Five Nights as well.
Tumblr media
➼ Who We Are ❖ ~
We are a System of roughly 35 Alters, most with subsystems and many of whom will never post here as they have no desire to be involved in this world.  We do have a System name, though for the purposes of this blog I think we would just prefer ‘The Auncles’ as we are trying to keep this blog somewhat separate to avoid total harassment on our main blog. If you know who we are, great! Please keep it to yourself. If you realize it and wish to confirm you are welcomed to ask, but we might choose to ignore it depending on a number of factors.
We use singular and plural identifiers interchangeably and on this blog we do not bother to separate our posts beyond tagging them. Some of us don’t even bother with that. We are here in the capacity of a resource, not as individuals. We will likely continue this trend.
Tumblr media
➼ Boundaries ❖ ~
Asks/ Message Times ~ Please do not pressure us to reply to your asks or your messages. This is a blog we run in our spare time which can be sparse. We will always do our best to answer as soon as possible, but we sometimes lack the energy. Remember, if we burn out we won’t be able to answer anything! It is however okay to check in and make sure we got it in the first place!
Endos/ Tulpas ~ If you plan to interact, please know I am only interested in hearing from you from a learning standpoint. If I suspect you are here to either try to mock us or to attempt to sway us into radical inclusiveity neither is going to change our minds. If you come to us respectfully we will match your energy, at least most of us will.
DO NOT ATTACK OUR FOLLOWERS - If you have rage to direct at someone, direct it at me. We designed this blog to absorb some of the harassment other Systems face so if please bring your anger over here.
Spelling/ Typos: Most of the System suffers from Dyslexia and cognitive issues. This means our hands don't always hit the right keys and our brain doesn't always catch it. We spell phonetically very often so we might not catch that either. If you want to point out a spelling mistake or typo, please do so respectfully. We edit posts to fix typos/ spelling mistakes.
Correcting Misinformation- We are always happy to learn. If you see something we post that seems off, please feel free to approach us respectfully and fill us in. We don't bite, we just sometimes feel a bit dumb for a while.
Kins - This is a topic the blog avoids discussing. While much of the kinning community makes us uncomfortable, those who participate in them are allowed to interact. We simply will not reply to asks or DMs about the topic.
Diagnosis ~ While we have had education in psychology and we do plan to finish our education eventually, at the moment we are NOT professionals. This means that no matter how much you share with us in terms of your System symptoms WE CANNOT DIAGNOSE YOU. The BEST we can say is ‘That lines up with our experiences/ the experiences of others we’ve met’ and move on.
Crisis Support ~ We are very happy to give you advice and allow you to rant as needed, we will support you in any way we can. With that said, try to remember that we are a System dealing with trauma as well. We are not crisis counsellors. If you are in immediate distress please see this list of international crisis helplines.
Tumblr media
➼ DNI ❖ ~
Necrophiliacs
MAPS/ Pedophiles/ Paraphiles/
Proshippers
NSFW specific blogs (This isn’t the place for that.)
Anti LGBTQIA+/2S (We recognize that 2S people are separate from the LGBT, but we welcome our 2S family. People outside the Indigenous Community should not use this term.)
Anti MOGAI
Nazis
TERFs or LGBT+ Exclusionists (Like Panphobs)
Anyone participating in Fatphobia
We will add more as they come up.

Tumblr media
god, it’s brutal out here! learn how to private your gif packs and manage this new system without losing your mind
so, per request of an anon, i decided to write down how it is that i manage my privatized gif packs. i don’t think this is the absolute way you should do things, so if anyone has any other cool advice or tips they think can aid content creators, please share it and they’ll be aded to the post! with that said, down below you’ll see a step by step guide on how i do things. hope it helps!
First of all, I am going to advice you to keep your gif packs on a sideblog. It’s much better than keeping them all on your main blog because after a while, as you add more and more pages things just start to get awfully cluttered. Many gif makers can attest to this, which is why nowadays I believe most people have a special blog where they keep their packs organized.
For this, I am going to recommend that you change the url of your gifpack blog. Tumblr is really weird and for some reason when you’re working on a sideblog and delete a page or change the url of the page, the old url will still work.
Technically, there is a way you can prevent that, but it’s very tedious since after deleting your pages or changing the url, you’re going to have to make a NEW PAGE with the old url of the page you’re trying to change or get rid of and then save it as a blank post so people can no longer access the gifs you had in there.
So yeah, save yourself some time and just change the url of your gif pack sideblog.
Okay, so you got all of your gif packs in your sideblog, now it’s time to password protect it. For that, you’re going to go to the settings page for that blog and right at the bottom of the page, you will see the option to password protect it.
Tumblr media
Enable it and set a password. I would rec saving it somewhere. One good tip I got from someone is that they use txt files to keep track of all of this, so let’s go with that. I’ll be using my notepad app, but other people use private discord servers to keep track of everything. Honestly, do whatever works best for you.
Tumblr media
Why did I write down last updated? Because I would recommend you change the password every once in a while just to give you some peace of mind if you don’t want people you don’t know having infinite access to your resources.
Next is keeping your packs organized. Now, everyone has a different system when it comes to organizing the pages on their gif sideblogs and the kind of urls they use for their packs. Whatever system you use is up to you, but another tip I give people is to include some sort of code in your url so people don’t figure out your system.
So, say you tag your packs as:
namelastname/movietvshow/pt1
If people figure that you tag everything like that, they’re going to be able to use other packs without asking because you have given them the password and now they got free reign over your packs. So, what I do is that I include a code in my url so instead you get something like this:
/468464/namelastname/movietvshow/pt1
It can be a random serious of numbers or a secret word, whatever you want! All you need to watch out for is that your code DOES NOT start with a zero. For some reason urls that start with a zero don’t work.
Once you’re done setting everything up, your gif pages should look something like this:
Tumblr media
So, all of your packs are private, cool! Now it’s time to figure out how you will handle the process of granting people access to them.
When I first made my gifs private, I just asked people to send me an ask asking for the password. I really don’t recommend it because we all know people just don’t read so I’d get all kinds of requests like people wouldn’t tell me what packs they wanted like they’d flat out just ask for the password or I’d get asks from nasty blogs. Everything happened so once I saw @miyanegifs decided to make people fill out and submit a form, I asked for their permission so I could implement the same system.
But why do this? Well, first of all because it’s going to continue helping you keep everything organized, because you will be forcing people to standardize the process of requesting access to your gifs, and because redirecting them to a form is a good way to try and force people to read your rules.
Sadly, this isn’t the perfect way to ensure that. Even after I switched to this system I have still gotten requests from people that ignore everything I’ve written down and just submit the form incorrectly, but it’s a start!
Okay, so to handle all the form business, I made another sideblog, which is the one I link on my gif pack posts so I don’t have to share the actual sideblog where I keep my gifs so when it comes to people requesting access to my stuff, I would only give them the direct link to the packs they mention on their form.
On the sideblog where I have people submit their forms, I found a theme that would allow me to display some text and then include my submit box. You can see it here in case you want to see how it all ended up looking.
What I include first are my guidelines, again, so people wanting to request access to my stuff read them. Next, is the form they will be submitting to you.
The form can say whatever you want, but I recommend asking people for:
name/alias
age
main blog
gif pack(s) they want the link to
blog where they will use your packs, rpg they’re part of, etc
Customize it to your liking! Just use this as a lil guide and end up adapting everything I’m telling you to best suit your needs and how you handle things.
Since you are doing this on a separate blog, once you get request they will end up on the inbox of said blog so you can keep track of who has requested access to your stuff! If you don’t want to keep all of the submissions on your inbox, just draft them so you can consult them whenever and edit them if necessary so you can add little notes or add the urls of the packs you have linked people to so you got them right there in case you change your password and they message you for the links again.
Assuming that you’re using the code system I mentioned above, obviously memorizing every single url it’s impossible so you can do that or again, use a private discord server or your notepad app to keep track of all the different urls you have so you don’t have to open your customize page every time you want to link someone to your links.
On your txt file, it can look something like this.
Tumblr media
Again, this is only an example. Do whatever works for you!
Then, when it comes to deciding who gets access to your packs, well, that is up to you and it depends on the guidelines you have for your resources.
Personally, after I receive a request and I see they’ve filled out correctly and it includes all the info I ask for, I go check people’s blog. If it’s an indie, I check out their rules and starters and check they’re actually using the faceclaim they mention in their form. If it’s for a rpg, I check the groups rules and see if the faceclaim they mention is taken. I am always very careful with this because I’ve gotten people that lie about playing x faceclaim just to access my stuff so please be careful.
Once I decide I am giving people access to my stuff, I im them from the sideblog they submitted the form to and include the DIRECT LINKS to the packs they have requested as well as the password.
And that’s it! I hope this helps whoever has decided to keep their packs private or is thinking about it. It honestly is such a great thing to do and it’s not exhausting or labor intensive or whatever people might say, lol. Once you have everything set up (which is the most laborious part), all you gotta do is wait for the requests to come and decide if you’re giving people access to your stuff.
If you got any more questions, feel free to hit up my ask and I will try to help you out!

One Hellsite VS Another Hellsite
Hey all! So I finally finished making my blog. Thank you to those of you who have followed me from Twitter to here. I was never fond of tumblr, I've had only bad experiences with it in the past, but I really wanted to make a sort of "back up" social media platform in case I ever get booted from Twitter.
Since that's what almost happened.
Here's the story!
To the complete fault of myself, I didn't realize that if one Twitter account gets permanently banned, then the others do too.
The offending account gets its ban and 'instant deletion', while your others you get locked out of and 'marked for deletion' as I found out through trying to find a solution on reddit. Even if you manage to get on the 'innocent accounts', they will eventually get suspended as well. This could take anywhere from 6 months to a year to occur. But when it does, it will be without warning.
They do this by two ways: Any account associated with the phone number and IP of the banned one.
After my ban on the 'offending account' I tried to make a Google voice number to change on my art account, to which twitter wouldn't let me do.
So I appealed the ban on the offending account. What was the offending account? What did I get banned for? Well, I'm glad you didn't ask, because I'm about to share anyway.
The offending account was my Eric Cartman roleplay account. Now, I admit my tweets on there were pretty aggressive, as it is 'canon divergent' rp account where I play him as a yandere.
I have in my profile, in my pinned tweet, AND on my connected url page that it is a parody, rp account. That nothing on there is condoned or real. And, everyone who I was engaging with, were also other rp accounts. These are people I'm also friends with ooc on discord as well. So we were all consenting and just having a good time.
I was rping with another Cartman who basically said they had information that I (my Eric) would want. So what would I do?
My responding tweet was along the lines of doing something to them, and then dining on where those thoughts come from: Words I'm not going to retype, as I know tumblr is now a SFW site. But basically, imagine Hannibal Lector replying while on a kind of tab often given out at clubs.
That got me an instant permanent ban and account removal. I was then given a notice that that I'm forbidden from ever creating future accounts on Twitter as well.
Welp. FML. Because even though I barely had any followers on my art/Tetrimidion account, I still rather enjoyed engaging on it, and it was proving to be a good outlet for me to attain some attention and interest regarding getting future commissions. Because bitch is poor.
So, I sent in an appeal stating blah blah blah 'rp and I have it plastered everywhere that it is rp and not real.'
Several hours later, I got an email back saying that they relooked over my account and unbanned me.
So I had to delete any tweet on there that could be considered 'threatening' to those not familiar with rp if they read it.
That ended up being like, half my tweets lol
So that gave me quite the bit of the scare, and I don't want to risk that happening again, lets I get a Twitter BDSM master who isn't quite as forgiving as the previous one.
Then @romantheskeleton, was a blessing to me by bestowing an extra Twitter account they have. So now I'm going to be taking over said account to rp Cartman there…as the account is associated with a different IP and number (that isn't theirs anymore either)…but I will be MUCH more careful about how I word things such as …..participating in an activity that zombies are known for doing uwu
In anycase, I decided to create this tumblr now for a "back up" basically. Especially since it just came out that Twitter is also now banning people for retweeting between accounts! So if I drew some artwork on my rp account, and wanted to retweet it on my actual art account, that could get you an instant ban.
So yeah u_u

Tumblr media
flip, 21, any prns.
18+, independent, headcanon-heavy blaine dartwright from layton brothers: mystery room.
single verse.
about / bio , smut / nsfw sideblog
rules under cut:
I. cringe culture is dead. do whatever the fuck you want as long as you're not hurting anyone. enjoy your interests, no matter how embarrasing they are. have fun. self-indulge in your own character portrayals, write as loose or strict to canon as you please, fast and slow-moving threads are encouraged here. there's no need to judge each other as writers on tumblr. that said, i don't support pro-shipping or harassment & anon hate isn't allowed and will be deleted on sight.
II. basic roleplay etiquette. no god-modding, powerplaying, or metagaming. cut your threads - if you can't, let me know. i'll do it for you. i don't care about your formatting if it's readable.
III. eighteen and over. that said, threads & content on my blog will contain dark & mature themes concerning drugs, violence, organized crime, and other stuff i don't condone outside of fiction. there's also a smut blog linked in my description, which is accessible only through the fact i'm an r18+ roleplayer. turn back if you're underaged.
IV. multifandom & crossovers. i'm into multiple fandoms, in fact, i'm playing an unused character from a relatively obscure mobile game. crossover friendly? fuck yes. i'll roleplay with anything and anyone, as long as you're not rpf or a celebrity roleplayer. if there's anything you recommend i blacklist, do let me know. i'm not exactly aware of everything in live action pop culture & i'm best described as an animation-leaning guy. though, nothing's going to stop me from playing a video game character in a thread with the guy from morbius.
V. original characters. make sure you have an about / bio page set, so that i'm able to read up on your character and who they are. what's going on with them, y'anno? i always love hearing about other peoples' characters and i'm willing to follow back if there's information on them.
VI. mutually exclusive. i'll only write and interact with people i follow and those who follow back. mutuals automatically can do whatever the fuck they want with blaine and i! crack threads? please. ask memes? thank you. headcanons with our characters? sure thing! this is mostly so that i'm able to keep track of things happening on my dashboard, too, and as for dashboard commentaries - i don't mind if non-mutuals interact with me in that way. it's fun!
VII. formatting. i use little-to-no formatting with small text and a few icons. there are times where i'm entirely iconless, as blaine's more or less a fanon-accepted character in mystery room. i will change urls to character names, but not the hyperlinks.
VIII. magic anons. they're always open! i've missed magic anons so much, in the past few years of discord, i haven't been able to mess around with these prompts. please have a set time for them when they're submitted. if i love your spell so much, i may as well have it as a permanent feature!
IX. plotting. i tend to wing my plots, but i don't drop my threads if they don't happen to "go my way" as the youth says. if you want a pre-established relationship with blaine, let me know through ims and i'll respond to you asap. if you want to do a plot-related thread where we progress our characters' stories, fuck yes. just know that i kinda suck at plotting, but i do wanna get better…
X. threads. rapid-fire replies on tumblr are my favorite thing to do, they'll only be slow if i'm sick or fatigued as i do have seasonal depression. we can drop as many threads as we like, move onto new ones, finish old ones, have live threads… like the old days! i just want to be loose and free in this community.

if you know, you know.
———       a response to those who refuse to move on.
EDIT: after some encouragement and realizing that, while i tried to be respectful and private about this situation, i was not given the same treatment, i’ve decided to be upfront and filterless. here is a link to my page of receipts that i did not provide in this post.
i would like to point out that when i made the DNI, it was buried and sandwiched in my super long rules purposely so that it wasn’t explicitly visible and drawing attention. it was specifically put there for mutuals to understand my boundaries for the new blog, and as soon as i moved blogs, my guidelines underwent heavy reconstruction and the DNI section was removed overall ( i don’t like DNIs for myself ), as well as on this blog. all statements made in the DNI were what i felt to be true and based off of not only my experiences, but others’ as well, backed up with evidence i have saved that i didn’t feel the need to provide because it wasn’t meant to be a big deal, but i also felt i needed to explain why this person was on a DNI and that it wasn’t done out of malicious intent. again, if something sounds bad it is because “bad” things were done and i can’t control that.
reading the call-out had me ( and others ) confused on where it was i had bullied her, when i had her blocked since november, where it was i had manipulated her, and so forth. i’m always wanting to be a better person, so i was extremely confused on where i had done anything wrong. i also didn’t appreciate my new blog url being attached to it as it had nothing to do with it and i was trying to move forward, and it read very much like an attempt to blacklist. despite everything, i never wanted it to be a spectacle. the pinned, public call-out by this person doesn’t read to me as someone wanting to move on, but wanting to drag things further. this is not a call-out post, this is me defending myself. i will not name drop. if you know who this is about, i ask you just read this to understand the full story.
this is going to be a long boi ( i really tried to keep it short but alkfjdklfksldf nope ). i would also like to apologize for any dryness here, but i am aiming to just state facts as they are. it feels    ----    ridiculous writing this all out because it’s something that could and should have been handled privately. but, here we go !!
everything on the DNI is true. i will not post or reveal the sources because one, they are not my stories to tell, and two, i am not going to give her the excuse to bother them. they deserve to be safe, and i am walking proof of what happens when you speak out against someone like her. if i have to bear that burden, then so be it.
it stopped being about “just a url” a long time ago. it became more about how i was treated in that interaction, and how i was continued to be treated afterwards. not to mention the increasing tension within the rpc and having to second-guess whether or not i was truly wanted. it was about how it was affecting those around me, my time in a hobby i love, and my mental health. the amount of times a mutual has tagged me by accident when they meant to tag her is insane. it most definitely did not feel good !!! if that kept happening, it was a problem. i also had to shut off the anon feature because of the amount of anons i was receiving. some had good intentions, but others had resorted to hate.
regarding the messages on discord --- i stand by them. i thought if you were friends with someone on discord and have previously talked over time, it was okay to message, otherwise what was the point of discord? i didn't realize it would make her uncomfortable to do so, and i’m more careful about how i approach people now !!!
regarding the messages: there was no change in tone other than that i grew exhausted and extremely anxious ( shaking !!! palms sweaty !!! knees weak !!!! mom’s spaghetti !!! ) and wasn’t in the proper mindset to sound happy while i was being invalidated to my face. i have even apologized there if i came off as mean. i don’t “present myself” in a way. that’s just how i talk, i prefer communicating one-on-one and i try to alleviate tension that arises no matter what because these types of conversations aren’t always a walk in the park. i wanted things to be good and not stressful for all parties involved. i’m sorry my tone came off as insincere. after being in desc rpc for a year, i was a little surprised seeing a near-identical url so i think it was fair for me to message her about it. she made the decision use it, and i was allowed to react. it was said misspellings in urls made her anxious so i wanted to help and i was shot down and vilified, essentially told i made her feel unsafe and shouldn’t have messaged. if it wasn’t okay to claim i felt “unsafe” and “paranoid”, why was it okay for her to claim the same based on a choice she made herself, but not me to feel anxious about those choices?
i have never told a blog to block her. i have never initiated conversation about her, nor have i spoken negatively about her as a person. ever. i have, in fact, even stated that i didn’t want anyone blocking and that it would be okay to interact. here’s one example after i was approached about her. i cannot control what other people do.
Tumblr media
hardblocking her on my end was to avoid seeing her on dash as much as possible.
i am allowed to softblock / unfollow people who interact with her after months of trying to be okay with it. what kickstarted this process was someone i thought was a close friend had dropped me and suddenly i realized i didn’t need to sacrifice my comfort for the sake of keeping a mutual. if they could do it, so could i. while i adore the descendants rpc, the rpc is not a family, we’re not obligated to interact IC or be mutuals with every single person in the rpc. it’s not causing a rift when we don’t interact on dash. i have even emphasized that i would love to stay in contact via discord and write there if possible !! why am i being vilified for trying to make my blog a safe space for me?
regarding the “vagues”: they were all responses. a mutual wrote the post, i reblogged it, my tags were in response to the post ( said mutual’s url wasn’t even blocked out so ... ). if it felt like a vague, i can’t control that. the meaning behind the url post was circulating on dash, i didn’t see any vaguing in it other than me recounting my process of choosing this url, which was true ( was i not allowed to participate?? ). the shrek meme was in response to a public dash event ( which i originally thought was a joke ) that had received copious amounts of criticism for. it wasn’t a vague and it was explicit on what it was referring to, it was meant to be silly dash commentary, nothing deep.
this is in my rules but i have explicitly stated that my headcanons about my characters are not a vague if they differ from yours. the talk about hair styles was actually initiated in a conversation with my friends in private. it had absolutely nothing to do with her. if it sounded like a drag, i encourage everyone to look at how i’ve “dragged” many other things including the original outfits for descendants, evie thinking mermaid dresses are ugly, evie not liking wine, and so forth. my portrayal of evie =/= other portrayals of evie. while she may never do so-and-so, it doesn’t make it wrong for another portrayal to do it. ( why was my blog being kept tabs on and compared with, in the first place? that’s not duplicate friendly ).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
regarding sex week: i've stated it was an inappropriate event because the descendants rpc had been heavily criticized for smutting and felt it wasn't the best response, nor was it the best way to promote sex positivity. it was insanely uncomfortable to witness, as someone in this rpc. it doesn’t matter if the people or the muses involved were adults, i would still call it inappropriate had it happened in any other rpc. it wasn’t a “block and move on” situation. i’m also allowed to defend myself because i didn’t want to be associated with something she posted. i didn’t want it tied to my url. i would like to clarify that when i said "embarrassing" in the responses under that anon, it was directed at the anon for misreading the url, nobody else. ostracizing occurred when the descendants rpc was being added to DNIs because of sex week / smutting, which was posted by this person ( if you post it, you start it. simple ). i had been blocked simply because i am a descendants blog and that had never happened before.
i was also notified that people uninvolved with this have been namedropping me on dash in an attempt to have me “written off” ( their words, not mine ) because my rules stated that i was open to exploring evie’s sexuality. below is a screenshot of my rule regarding smut. i deleted the rules page from this blog when i moved so i snatched it from my other canon descendants blog that i reuse on all blogs. the second is my elaboration on sexual content in my new evie rules. the third is what’s on my google doc, a condensed version of my rules. there is a major difference between smutting and posting a public dash event dedicated to sex versus being open to explore sexuality as a topic. they are not the same. also, me not choosing to smut does not dictate my opinion on smut, so do not make assumptions about that either. if you want to move on, why are you still talking about me on dash, especially when unprompted? if you just want to move on, why are you upset that i’m not “written off”?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
this person has vagued me multiple times ( which they conveniently did not show in the call-out ), this person has been shown to talk badly of me in private ( and now, publicly as well )    ----    all of which i have not done. i have screenshots sent by others to show for it, but do not feel it’s relevant to share because this is not about her. this is just about defending myself.
i have spent three months apologizing for feeling things, apologizing for reacting, apologizing for things i should not have been apologizing for. i have spent so long accepting blame because i felt it would help. i’m done doing that. i know what i did and what i didn’t do. people know what i did and didn’t do.
all in all, i am confused on why a call-out was made when the content provides nothing other than catty remarks meant to air out personal drama. the messages exchanged only show how i tried to remedy things. the screenshots of my “vagues” were just responses, and most of which had nothing to do with this person. my initial silly dash commentary and later discomfort over a sexual dash event posted by this person is not a vague.
if you ( referring to maker of the call-out and others who partook ) are upset about people not talking about me in regards to the “rest of the call-out”, maybe consider the fact that there was nothing about me in it that warranted a call-out in the first place. people saw that i did nothing wrong. the only thing of substance in the call-out was something the maker themselves did : the public, sexual dash event. people are allowed to identify that as a more prominent issue as opposed to how my messages or public posts could be perceived through basic, biased narrative manipulation.
me deciding to unfollow / softblock blogs that interact with this person =/= involving the descendants rpc or making it public. i am allowed to softblock whoever i want to cultivate my dash experience. most people i know have it in their rules that they are okay with people softblocking for their comfort and that it won’t be taken personally. you know what IS making it public and involving the entire descendants rpc? this person messaging a descendants server and name dropping me in the server, reducing the situation to just being about a “url” and publicly announcing it in the server. here are the facts to consider: her message was sent jan. 21. my DNI went up feb 2.
so, regarding the call-out: there was no bullying, no manipulation, no harassment, no gaslighting, nothing from my end, and the call-out shows precisely that the claims are just that: claims. whatever was felt is valid, but feelings =/= gravity of the actual action itself - the most common thing pointed out in therapy: feelings are valid, but are they justified? call-outs should be reserved for people who cause actual harm, not because someone wants an excuse to blacklist. if i am a “bully” for unfollowing blogs for my own comfort, then i think the rpc really needs to reevaluate what these terms mean because the misuse is harmful.
here are the things i did do: treated everyone i talked to with respect. approached things civilly. communicated. tried to accommodate for others. attempted to make a safe space for myself. did not involve the entire rpc by announcing it in a server. did not make a call-out post nor pin it. did not continue to name drop afterwards despite claiming to want to move on.
this entire situation is absurd and should have never been public, much less made a call-out for !! while this was meant to defend myself and state facts, i understand it may not change minds. a friend has told me that people will hate me because they want to hate me, no matter what. and i can’t do anything about that !! all i have to say is that holding hate in your heart never ends well. i hope everyone can find peace at some point.
so please, let me move on. let me write with my friends. let me unfollow / softblock people to keep my dash comfortable. let me take a break from descendants while also having the choice to return at anytime. please stop talking about me when i’m not even giving this another thought and haven’t since i moved blogs. please stop name dropping. stop keeping tabs on me, stop stalking my new blog. please leave me alone. i hold absolutely nothing against anyone i may have softblocked / unfollowed or am not currently interacting with on my new blog. my IMS / discord is always available, you will not be violating my safety by messaging me, everyone is welcome, but i also understand if you feel the need to separate yourself !!! as for those of you who have interacted with the call-out post, i wish you the best but i hope you understand why i do not want to interact with you by any means in the future.
i’m hoping this post lays everything to rest, seeing as my first one did not. honestly, what are you trying to prove if you still have to post about this? it helps nobody. this back-and-forth is exhausting and unneeded. no more. let’s be better people, yeah?
i hope everyone takes care of themselves, i hope you all have a great day / night !!! thank you for reading this long boi !!

helloooooo caitlyn!!! (I almost called you amy cause your url . . . how does it feel to be branded as that character akshdjs)
I see you are reading les miserables! yes I know it is SUCH a book™ I'm not sure if you've read the book before or not, but I know when /I/ read the book, there was a lot of talk about the red flag being used at the barricade, and I *know* it symbolizes something, but I can't place my finger on w h a t (I also know it serves as brainrot purposes, but maybe that's just me). I was wondering if you had any takes on the idea? If not, feel free to delete this ask, but if so, please indulge me because there is SO much to talk about in that book! (and feel free to leave this ask until you've finished this idea/have more thoughts)
being branded as amy march is maybe the greatest thing that has ever happened to me so THANK YOU
yes! i'm rereading les mis! i read it for the first time 10+ years ago when i was in les mis and assistant directing it, and i am not joking when i say that this book changed my life. i was 16/17 when i read it the first time and it truly made me rethink everything about myself and like what my priorities are and how i wanted to be remembered and what i wanted to do to make the world a better place. it honestly hits SO HARD and while i have many many (many) favorite books, les mis is the one that i think is the most influential and like has become a part of my being and made an imprint on my soul.
there for sure is symbolism with the red flag at the barricade and the moment my mind is completely blanking, but i think more will come up as i'm listening so i'll for sure come back to it, but i wanted to answer this now because i wanted to rant about how influential this book has been for me 🤣 since i'm reading via audiobook right now, i do want to do another physical reread at some point and annotate which i may have to do before i talk about the symbolism but we'll see. yes, i am fully returning to my les mis phase (which i never truly leave) and i would just like to say, you're welcome everyone!

Dude they literally gave the image descriptions under the "read more" of the Dolly/LilNas post. Why did you feel it necessary to repost it outside of the read more
1. don't call me dude (or man or bro, i do not care if you think they are 'neutral' don't fucking misgender me), and fuck you for taking this tone with me when, based on your message, you are likely not someone who relies on image descriptions to navigate the internet
2. most screen readers are not good with navigating the 'read more' or 'keep reading' links generated by adding content below a cut on tumblr (and hyperlinks in general). when you put descriptions under a cut, it completely defeats the purpose of describing the images in the first place, which is to make them accessible, especially to blind and low-vision users. to quote @keplercryptids in their very helpful posts on this very topic:
hiding descriptions in a reblog or a read more defeats the purpose of them, imo, which is to make images accessible. it puts the burden of seeking out accessibility onto blind people, who are already burdened in many aspects of their lives to access the things they want and need. the goal of accessibility is to make a given process as easy and convenient for disabled people as it is for able-bodied people. (in other words, blind folks should be able to access images the same way sighted people do: by simply scrolling through their dash, searching tags, etc.)
(in response to an anonymous user who asked: hi! i was just wondering: is it acceptable to put image descriptions under a read more? or does that kinda defeat the purpose? sorry if this has been asked before, i tried to look it up but couldn't find anything.) - yeah, you shouldn’t do that! for the simple reason that it’s not very accessible. it means that people who need image descriptions have to click through to individual blogs whenever they wanna see an image, rather than just scrolling through their dash like everyone else. i have also heard that hyperlinks in general can be finicky with screen readers, so those that would need them the most are less able to even use them. image descriptions should always go directly beneath the image, ideally before any additional commentary.
...and if you want to read a comprehensive guide on image descriptions and how to do them properly, keplercryptids has been courteous enough to provide just that. you can view it here: [link]
3. do you know what happens to content under a 'read more' / 'keep reading' cut when you change your url? or you delete a post? or your blog gets deactivated? the content under the readmore fucking disappears. the image description is lost completely. it's not a reliable way to continue describing images. if a description is too long, tag the post as "long post" or something. and the description i copied and pasted out from under the cut on that post was barely 4 lines long. why did that need to be hidden under a cut? seriously?
it is not acceptable to put image descriptions under a 'read more' cut, it makes the descriptions inaccessible.
if you want to make posts accessible by adding descriptions, stop hiding the descriptions. i'm not asking 🔪

File Hunting Tutorial
In this tutorial I’ll be going through some file searching methods I’ve been using to find lost/hard to find files. I’m sharing this so you too can get good at using your google-fu and expand the list of useful sites and sources to help.
I started writing this already last year and had it saved in the drafts and then forgot all about it until vegan-kaktus noted that it’s still in the drafts. So I gave it one last poke and it’s finally ready to be posted. Consider it a parting gift from me (digi) It’s really long so the rest is under read  more which, hopefully, should show up right after this row, happy reading! :)
1. File uploaded to Dropbox:
Oh no, the link is dead! What to do? Well there are two things you can do:
Slap that link to archive.org - sometimes if you’re lucky it has it archived and you can download through that. (not often but it’s always worth a try)
Look at the url and find the filename, for example:
Tumblr media
highlighted above is the filename, now copy that part and slap it to google and if you have any luck somebody already has reuploaded it somewhere. If not then you still at least have the file name to help with the search.
2. I have picture of the thing, can I use that?
If it’s from the original upload that can be useful, now open google’s image search and hit this:
Tumblr media
paste/upload your picture and if you have any luck you’ll get hits with the same picture, those are occasionally reuploads of the file or maybe even the original source. Sometimes this is useless though, google might just give you its best guess at what the picture shows and it’s pretty much always wrong.
Additionally, you can try other search engines since they give different kinds of results, Yandex has positively surprised me few times when google failed.
3. The thing was posted behind multiupload (or similar now dead service), what to do?
Okay so first, go to the page where the link was posted, right click on the download address and copy that with “copy link” or whatever it happens to be in your browser since those differ between them.
Tumblr media
Open web.archive.org, paste the address you copied there:
Tumblr media
With some luck you’ll receive some hits like this:
Tumblr media
Click on any of the blue dots, if one doesn’t work, try another. Also note: if dots are green it means the link redirects somewhere, usually to random ad sites, but it could also just mean the address of the site has changed so be careful. If you have any luck the page has been archived and you’ll get something like this:
Tumblr media
A lot of those files hosts no longer work so there’s no point in trying Megaupload, Depositfiles, hotfile, zshare or 2shared links but mediafire still exists so click on its “Download file” button. On first glance it looks like it doesn’t work:
Tumblr media
You should copy the mediafire address (or if it was another file host then that address) and paste it to your browser’s address bar anyway to test it.
Tumblr media
It doesn’t always work but usually, as long as the file hasn’t been deleted it should work.
Additionally about Mediafire: Sometimes some older mediafire links will tell you that they don’t work, you can sometimes fix them like this:
mediafire.com/c4txzwdlumxg/uy0nqwnjz0z/(fileName) (original link) mediafire.com/c4txzwdlumxg/uy0nqwnjz0z/(fileName) (delete the overlined bit) mediafire.com/file/uy0nqwnjz0z/(fileName) (= working link, it seems to add the /file/ part automatically to the link)
(fileName) above is stand in for “Janita-scott+male+clothing+-+07+-+Mar+-+2010.rar“ since it was too long. This is actual link that was coming up with page not found error but it’s actually not missing, Mediafire just changed something about their links that made it break at some point.
4. Check chomikuj.pl!
(http://chomikuj.pl) This is some sort of Polish file sharing site that has plenty of Sims files uploaded there. It has some caveats, for example if you don’t have account you can only download files smaller than 2 MB, if you create an account you can download worth of 50 MB every week for free. It’s sounds like a lot more than it really is so if you find good loot better bookmark that page since you’ll be spending weeks getting all those files. To use the site just type whatever you’re searching to search box (I’ve found that simply using the creator name tends to have the best results)
Tumblr media
We’re gonna search for ripplesims, the following page has some ads first so scroll down until you see the results:
Tumblr media
Then I recommend just opening those in new tabs since there usually are plenty of results. Then to download, click on the file title:
Tumblr media
and this kind of window will pop up:
Tumblr media
“Pobierz” means download, you’ll want to use the top one, the other one is some kind of ad or something again. Then your browser should give you the normal download prompt and you can save the file. Here’s few users who post Sims 2  content to get you started:
rakuyou
Thumbelina 21
Justyna211
aleksandra.przybylka
mgs1991
5. Check GameVN!
(http://forum.gamevn.com/forums/downtown.281/) this is Vietnamese file sharing forum, that gets updated occasionally. A lot of newer files are just stuff from tumblr (possibly your stuff if you upload custom content, don’t be upset, that’s just how internet works, you post it, you no longer have control over it.), but they also have some older files and for example some files from gamesir.
6. Check Game.ali213!
(https://game.ali213.net/forum-295-1.html) okay so this board is pain in the ass to browse since it’s in Chinese but these two are the section you’re most likely interested in:
Tumblr media
First one is for sharing content made by others, second for sharing original works. There’s for example: daum content, stuff from ReflexSims, some stuff from Yuri and Gameski, more daum content....
Note that some files are posted to hosts that don’t work anymore such as namipan, pan.baidu, rayfile, 91files.com.... there’s a lot of dead hosts really and you’re gonna get disappointed many times when you click on the links. But the files hosted on the forum itself usually are available, they just tend to be in multiple pieces so you need to download all of them and then choose them all at once to extract correctly.
7. Check VK.com Albums!
There probably are others but the one I most often check is: https://vk.com/albums-52214 (hit on show all albums and then start browsing, the first albums are pictures, wcifs and member uploads but then there are reuploads. Not every link works but quite few do so it’s worth checking through.)
8. Check other sites that reupload files!
I’m of course talking about Booty, Simscave, TheSimsGraveyard and Liquid Sims. Sometimes the most obvious place is exactly where you’ll find it. :)

Note
this is random but how long have you been using this account? i remember you as some of the first people i followed when i discovered radical feminism
I had to look up my archive to remember but it looks like I started this blog in June of 2016, as long as I didn’t delete all post prior to June for some reason (I don’t really delete posts, it’s too much work lol. try not to go fishing for anything embarrassing I beg everyone). I would have been aawb then. Plus that timeline feels right, because I had to remake bc around that time ish tumblr out of nowhere reset everyone’s passwords and my email address was tied to a college email I didn’t have access too and there was no recovery. so I had a side blog for about a year or two as radfemeudaimonia, then tumblr reset people’s passwords, and I could only access that blog and my other blogs at the time via the app because that never logged me out. I did that for like 2-3 months, and then gave up and just abandoned those and remade a new account as aawb. Before making radfemuedaimonia, I had been on tumblr on my main account for like who even knows how long, but years. So I’ve been around on tumblr a long time. I changed my url from aawb to kiefbowl probably around nov/dec of 2017, which is weird to realize that because I thought I was aawb for a really long time, but I guess not and I’ve been kiefbowl for longer now. anyway, that’s my rambling history on tumblr, which is not really what you asked for, but I’m glad you asked because I had to look up and take stock of my history which is good to do from time to time and gd I’ve been here a long time lol.
If you’ve been here a long time with me, you’ve probably notice I’ve changed how I use tumblr a lot. Tumblr used to be so so so important to me in expressing my ideas and finding theory on feminism and connecting with other women. I was also younger, under employed, struggling, angry as fuck, and super depressed. I would spend a lot more time trying to get well written “discourse” posts out there and answered a lot more asks. I def think my edge has dulled a bit, for better and for worse. I’ve come to terms with the ways tumblr has also been very unproductive and unhealthy for me as well, and I’m just older. The need for validation was something I was blind to at 25, I realize how important that was for me in hindsight, and now it’s not that important to me. I know what I believe, I know how I act, I know what’s incongruent, I don’t really need strangers weighing in, even if I like them. I feel I know a lot of mutuals, but I also have come to terms we don’t really know each other. There are a lot of people on radblr (whatever that means) I admire for their posts or attitude or jokes, but I know we might not actually get along if we met in real life. Lately, I’m more focused on my immediate community. I’m trying to put a lot of energy into my irl relationships (including the men I know!) because I think that’s more worthwhile of my time and you have to put what you read into practice at some point. You have to see what the consequences of your words in real time, it’s at times surprising and humbling, which makes it worthwhile.
I have met a few people from tumblr in real life. some of it has worked out, some of it hasn’t. some of it not working is my fault, bc I had a lot of dips in depression over the past few years. I think about reaching out to them and making it better all the time, and I think I will once covid is done. I met up with someone once and I got creepy anons I ignored who knew about it at some point and then she published a couple anons that creeped me out too (I don’t know if she realizes it) and unfortunately that was one of the reasons I put some distance between us, not that I was conscious of it really but I see it now in hindsight, and became reeeeeaaaally conscious of what I said and posted here and who I met up with, which since has been one other person and no one else. These were people going “I’m so excited to hear you met up with x” and she got an anon she published that said “I think you and aawb should start dating” and I was like “okay there be freaks on tumblr” and since then I just really put a lot of distance between me and the non mutuals here. It’s very clear between me and other mutuals who are “big” (whatever that means tbh) that I’ve talked to it about that there are unwell people on tumblr who project a whole lot of shit onto you even if they admire you. Psychologically, that can wear on you more than dumbass misogynists who argue with you, because they’re just flash in the pan and to them you’re faceless, you’re anybody, you don’t matter. But people who are sycophantic think they know you (not suggesting you are anon, your ask seems completely reasonable. I ignore shit like that now, I’ve stop publishing those anons) and they say weird stuff that is like...dumb. like “you’re the smartest person in the world” or whatever and it’s like, obviously that is not true and it’s not actually appreciated. I’m just regular, we’re all regular people on here.
I’ll be real, I think about archiving this blog by keeping my posts I like and am proud of and deleting everything else, and not deactivating but bouncing. At one point or another, tumblr is going to phase out of my life. It’s probably going to happen sooner than later, I just feel old at this point and sometimes I find it a little embarrassing idk.
I’m glad you’ve enjoyed my blog and I’ve helped you in whatever ways I have to help you find feminism. I hope you keep at it and remember to talk to as many women as possible as much as you can! :)
It was fun decompressing my history with this anon, it’s actually helped me a little gain some perspective, so thank you anon, even if that wasn’t your intention lol. I do what I want lmao.

So yes, I am back, but with bigger news about this blog. I will not put a tl;dr because to be honest, this should be read.
This blog will no longer be a priority of mine. I have many other blogs and I have always put this one first to the point where I have abandoned most of the other blogs because I wanted to make everyone happy. But the thing is, I was never happy. No matter how much I wrote or tried, I was never happy. That’s the point of this entire rant.
I was never happy because it all felt one-sided.
Most of the requests on this blog are on anon and that’s not bad whatsoever but here’s the thing: I did an experiment on myself and it turns out, that even with the same number of requests coming in, maybe even more, I will be more happy because the person is showing their URL and it feels like they actually do like my work, ESPECIALLY if they keep coming back.
I understand that some of you are shy. I understand some of you are silent readers. But what I don’t get is that even with the anon button available to you, you can’t bother to come through and say something about a fic, even if it was “oh hey nice job!” or “i liked this dialogue.” There are people that have come through on anon to say that they liked the request of theirs and I am so glad that they do so, it doesn’t feel one-sided anymore.
And to those people that comment on my smau, which has practically been my pride and joy at this point, and the ones that came through to interact with me? I swear, if you wanted me to get the moon, I’d get it for you. You know exactly who you are.
But let’s talk generally, shall we? From my hiatus, I have been noticing a lot of things, even with my head turned away. So many blogs are deactivating, going on hiatus or becoming inactive. Why? There are many reasons why, but one of the ones that seems to be the lack of interest. What I mean by this is not the reader’s consumption of fics, but what the author receives. The author could put their blood, sweat and tears into a 10k fic and all they’ll get are a couple of notes.
Notes shouldn’t define an author’s writing skill, but it sure does help the author think, “oh hey, this piece wasn’t as bad as I thought when I was first writing it!” And also, we are human. Humans constantly crave validation, even though they don’t say it outright. Even the people that don’t seem like they don’t crave validation, internally they do.
As the readers, it is your job to give them what they deserve. Validation. Whether it’s in the tags or directly in the comments or even dropping into their inbox, authors deserve to know that their work was incredible.
However, from what I’ve seen in this fandom specifically, I could say this as many times as I want to and it will not stick. You’ll be going back to your everyday lives and to be honest? I’m sick of that. I’m tired of seeing people scream, only for those screams to fall on deaf ears. Because of that exact reason, many authors lose interest and go.
Here’s my deal: I started writing for another fandom, which I will not reveal, and I get so many requests per week and I feel so happy about that because most of the time it’s people that are coming back and their URLs? I know them by heart. It feels like they come through, give me the validation I have been craving and I happily do the request for them. Hardly have I ever turned a request down because of this reason.
The anon button is a blessing and a curse. A blessing because you can go undercover into so many authors’ blogs and tell them that you liked a specific fic and it could turn a bad day into a fantastic day. A curse because in my opinion, those requests on anon feel like they come in and then never come back to say anything, making it seem extremely one-sided. We finish your request and then move onto the next one, on and on and on and so forth. A repetitive cycle of writing for what seems to be blank faces.
Oh and another thing? It seems to me like some of you can’t bother to read my navigation. I am on a fucking break. I do not want to see requests. I do not want to see asks about requests. I do not want to see something that will guilt me into starting to write again. Every time I close requests, someone comes through with a request and I have literally put in all caps locks and in bold that my requests are CLOSED. But on my hiatus? It pushed me off of the edge when I got on Tumblr and went into my inbox. Someone had clearly not gotten the message that I hadn’t posted in a month, was on hiatus and my requests were closed. To know that this isn’t the only time it’s happened is disappointing. It gets to the point where I am seen as a machine to write for you, to please you when I can’t even catch my breath. Read the fucking navigation, it is there for a goddamn reason.
I have checked my notes and even silently gone on my blog. Nothing’s changed. It’s the same as it was before. It was the exact reason why I went on hiatus and why I am thinking about staying on hiatus indefinitely. The only thing keeping me going for this blog is my smau because I know there will be that one person commenting on it. It shouldn’t just be one person carrying everything. The thing that could make an author’s entire day will not take you more than, what, 2 minutes? 2 minutes. Just to make someone happy. And so many of you aren’t willing to go that far.
I discovered from my time away that it wasn’t writing that stressed me out. On the contrary, it relaxed me. I realized what was making me feel trapped. This fandom. Nothing ever changes, not even when people tell you what is wrong. Even now, I know that this post will fall on deaf ears and it’ll probably go back to the routine of requests.
It’s not fair. Put yourself in my shoes. You spend hours a day on your computer, not paying attention to class and writing for complete strangers online that started off interacting with you a lot and complimenting you. You keep writing into the early hours of the morning, past midnight, just so that you can wake up to the amount of love you get from a fic. But over time, everything starts to decrease as people move onto other authors. That is great, so you keep writing to please the people that have stayed. More time passes by and everything is changing. Your writing has become strained, your carefully-planned out events in your drafts have been deleted and you sit there, wondering what’s the next assignment. Along with this, you have to make sure to take breaks, albeit feeling like if you take a break, someone out there will leave.
All of it felt like it wasn’t enough, no matter how much I wrote. It felt like I was pleading for something impossible, although it was possible and I have seen it and experienced it.
To summarize this all, think. What could this cost you? What could ignoring this cost you? Your favorite authors. Your favorite fics will be deleted. Everything you’ve loved from the author will be gone. Even if you move onto the next one, you’ll never see a fic like that one again. It’s happened to me, when I’ve wanted to see a specific fic, I remember it’s not anywhere anymore because the author deactivated or deleted it.
My patience is wearing thin to the point where I have thought many times of transferring this blog to another email and keeping it as inactive. In fact, I’m actually planning to do that at some point.
Remember this: Authors will not stay if you don’t give them a reason to.

Pillowfort Problems
From https://www.pillowfort.social/posts/2040132 :
community posted to BetaUsers:
Bug investigation
This is what has been found so far by me and some people I know. We found this very quickly and mostly aren't web experts, which makes me think it's very likely that someone with more expertise could find actual security holes that are worse than "you can dm someone an image that logs them out".
1. can sign up with usernames that are api endpoints - seems to only break things for the user with that username as far as I can see
2. can embed urls in img src - allows signing out users who view the image, easily breaks the site for people but doesn't reveal any information as far as I can tell
3. can embed javascript in img src onerror tag - the javascript is only prevented from execution on client side, this seems concerning
4. it looks like the donate page is a custom one, which means it is likely to also be full of security holes. the payment form is submitted to the pillowfort servers and not a 3rd party provider. if you made a payment through this page I cannot recommend strongly enough that you call your bank and cancel whatever card you use. I'm not going to go poking around with the payment forms because that puts me at legal risk but given how many other bugs are in the site I would really, really not trust the payment form.

5) there doesn't seem to be any limit on post size.  if you load up a page with a crapload of text - like, say, War and Peace - the site crawls to a halt while it downloads a massive 5+ mb uncached JSON file before displaying anything.

oh also posts are sequentially numbered, which would make it very easy for someone to trawl all public posts with a script (this is what happened to parler)

flagging posts for community moderators doesn't work, if you moderate a community you can't see any flags that have been reported

I just saw and resolved some flags on mine? It sure looked like I did anyway

hmm maybe it's something to do with my having a broken username then

How to get back a deleted conversation:
1. Delete a convo with the trash can (top right)
2. it disappears from your messages list
3. In the URL field, put in the URL of the deleted conversation (e.g. https://www.pillowfort.social/messages/72074)
It shows up as a "conversation" with no messages
Make a reply
Et voila, the conversation has returned from the abyss
Conversation / message IDs are also sequential.  This seems bad.
(Though, it appears to make sure that you were a participant and gives a 401 Forbidden error if not.  Can't read others' messages, thankfully!)
You might want to review GDPR rules and see if "mark as not visible" really qualifies as "deleted from the server"... I suspect it does not.

Aside: it's possible to "reply" to a message that isn't the main message of the conversation, by specifying its URL.  This creates a detached conversation that does not appear in the messages at all.
So for example if you send a message and it has ID 1, then a reply with ID 2, then change the URL to begin from ID 2, you can make replies that are "unlinked" from the main conversation.
