Hemlock’s mind during “The Summit”, listening to the men talking about Project Stardust: Why is Tarkin so hellbent on creating a giant space station shaped like a sphere when money could be used for more important matters like my project? He’s always talking about Project Stardust whenever I have to come to these things, him and Krennic seem obsessed with it. He complains about so much money being spent when there's a lot put onto this project. I should be back on Tantiss and not wasting my time here.
I'm gonna say this, I am by no means an Allurance shipper and I do think they each could've had better character and romantic development.
However.
I do not believe that Lance was a rebound from Lotor for Allura, I think it's the opposite.
In season 6 episode 1 when Lance gets electrocuted that terrified Allura. When she went to Red and saw him lifeless she let out a scream so heart wrenching that it gives me chills personally.
You cannot tell me that on her way from Blue to Red Allura was not recalling every instance of Lance in her life. From when they found her to all their adventures and even when Lance was flirting with her and others and the thought of Lance not being their t e r r i f i e d her. A life without Lance was not something Allura wanted to face, especially in that moment.
Instead, Allura focused her gaze on Lotor. Just like her, Lotor could live a very long life (he already had up to this point) and unless something happened both of them would be outliving (aside from maybe Keith) the current Paladins. She could see Lance grow older and know when his time would come.
However when Lotor betrayed them and then he died Allura could no longer continue running from her feelings for Lance.
Then, the cookie crumbled as they say.
While I do think Allura and Lance go together rather quickly and it probably would've been more meaningful if they were not dating and just getting closer during seasons 7 and 8, you cannot tell me that Lotor was the true rebound and not Lance.
once again thinking about jason as duke’s robin. he’s ~4 years younger than jason, and that puts him at 8-12 during Jason’s time as robin. that’s prime time to get attached to your local kid vigilante before your own life goes downhill.
and if we try to keep duke’s meeting with bruce in zero year + duke’s age (so he can remember the meeting and hold that conversation with bruce), he has to be around 8. if he starts following batman through the news at that time because of the mess that just happened, the robin he sees is probably jason. I’ve literally connected the dots
The Puerto Rican flag showing up when Rio snaps at Miles for getting a B in Spanish is such a fun little example of the incredible attention to detail in this movie
My favorite part about the Debling plot was Penelope and Cressida doing the most over there top cat-fighting in order to win him over, not because they genuinely liked the guy, but because they wanted to escape their families and also lowkey just hate each other.
