My thoughts on the current ipl points table that absolutely no one asked for :
(part-1)

1. They're the og champions...very chill, very fun vibes.
soo happy to see them on top. They really be feeling like royalty rn lol.
Also in the end, I'm just a girl 🎀💖 some I absolutely adore their jersey.
2. Yaar.... I know Hyderabad is a great team and everything but.... Do you guys have to go this hard?
Other teams come to play a match, this team comes to crack open your morale and bring you to your knees.
Baki teams khel rahi hai, Yeh log toh seedha gunda gardi kar rahe hai Yaar.
Watching Abhishek, our Indian player, a youngster, bat like that feels amazing tho.
3. Kolkata.... Man.
Gautam bhai aaye, and suddenly Sabka Chris Gayle bahar aagya.
I feel like sunil will take both purple and orange caps this year and gambhir bhai has already planned on picking the trophy this year so... Yea.
PS : once gautam bhai is done someone pls convince him to come as ICT's coach.
4. Chennai = 7 letters = thala for a reason.
They're doing great, but their recent performances makes me worried about what will happen to this team when Mahi Bhai retires.
If they don't start taking more responsibility now there's a good chance csk will crash land in the bottom next year. Hope thT doesn't happen tho.
5. LSG, you beauty....
They look like they are a weak team but they've defeated rcb, gt, pbks and...sabse importantly.... CSK.
But their next matches are quite tough too... So we'll see where they end up after 2 - 3 more matches.
The way kl Rahul hits sixes is just beautiful.
6. Mumbai.
I...... Have no idea what mysterious substance this management was on tbh.
If you want to remove someone from the captaincy, there's gotta be a better way to do that so the fans aren't offended and the player also isn't disrespected. Look how kohli left rcb's captaincy for example.
Then, if you wanted to look towards the future, Bumrah and Surya, both who have captained team India and have stayed with the franchise despite having so many opportunities to earn more if they leave should have been considered.
Or they could have just choosen Ishan. Just like csk and gt choose youngsters, Ishan could have been a good option too. Plus He's captained his team during u-19 in 2016.
But no. They choose Hardik.
Tbh, I feel so sorry for him cause in his mind, when MI offered him captaincy and called him back, he would have been happy to go back to his old team...like going back home.
But the sad truth is, MI management saw how successful he was in gt, winning in the first year and then reaching the finals in 2nd year....and it pissed them off that their player is doing well in some other team. So they brought him back.
Despite so much backlash from fans, so much hatred and trolling against Hardik, this shitty management never held one press conference to clear up misunderstandings and give answers to their fans honestly. Because they knew, if the truth comes out, they'll be on the receiving end of this hate.
Fuck them.
The only mistake Hardik did was leaving gt. But... Oh well.
(I ended up ranting lol.)

Arre , Stop worrying so much and start they manifesting their win . Our players either play arrogantly or humbly and carefully. Now they have been humbled. You saw the ad with the bus where they cut out the Champions thing . Kohli himself told , to win this we have to play like it's our first time and we are not champions. Also Axar Patel deserves more recognition tommorow . he played well this season. They should play so nice that Dhoni should become happy and play with CSK for another year.
help thank you for all that reassurance!! haven't seen that ad but they should be proud of their performance and brag about it (just not overconfident). i agree we need to give axar and hardik their flowers!!!! i want them to make dhoni happy but not a csk fan here </3 mumbai indians all the way for me sorry anon

IPL 2025 MI Bowlers Use Pitch Smartly To Defeat SRH

IPL 2025 Although Mumbai Indians have one of the lowest winning percentages overall since 2023, they’ve been the best team at winning home matches during this time. They’ve won 58.8% of their games at Wankhede Stadium, which is the highest among all teams. Only CSK (57.8%) and GT (55.5%) also have more wins than losses at home during this period. While many teams are still trying to understand how their home pitches work, IPL 2025 MI already seem to have figured it out. In the 2023-24 season, their success at home came mainly from strong batting. But this time, they’ve built a strong bowling unit that could match what their batters did in the past two years.

IPL 2025 MI Beat SRH on the Same Pitch That Helped Them Before

IPL 2025 Their recent match against SRH was on Pitch #6 – the same surface where MI bowled out KKR for just 116 runs earlier this season. It was also the pitch where KKR defended a total of 169 runs against MI last year – the only time a team successfully defended a score under 200 at Wankhede since 2023. Since SRH rely heavily on attacking shots, MI chose to use the same tricky pitch again and were lucky Read More....

Ykw I'm not even mad. Mahi could've finished the match if he had not gotten out. But he already did more than what his role requires of him, let us be real he's not as young as he was 10 years ago and before anyone starts saying then he should just retire if he's not fit - he's keeping better than anyone else in the league for 20 over, hitting better than half our batsmen and actually going at the pace that the situation requires rather than playing as if we are not chasing 220 on a pitch where 160+ haven't been chased before and let'snot even start about the leadership aspect and the question about who's going to replace his place in the squad because we're somehow unable to find a wicketkeeper batsman with good finishing qualities. As I was saying, I'm pissed but kind of understand why this happened. As I said in many of my prev posts, you cannot always depend on Dhoni to come and finish the match when you've fucked it up already. If he would've won it today then again no questions would've been raised about the bowling, the captaincy, the subpar batting, and the inability to hit the ball. Again he would've came cleaned up the mess and no one would've raised eyebrows at the state of the rest 10 players in the team. How is it that none of our batsmen are hitting as the other team's batsmen are?? Why are we not scoring in powerplay? Why are our openers not functioning?? Why is Rutu coming at no.3?? Why is our middle order doing nothing but eating up balls so that 40 off 18 kind of situation arises?? Why is the fielding soo - putting it in bland words - shitty? Why is it that every fucking time it's one man who's left on the crease, who at this stage should be enjoying the game, trying to win the match and then out of all people he's the one being blamed? People may complain but I genuinely think that Dhoni deserves these last few years where he could actually enjoy the game and the literal empire he built with his blood, sweat and tears. It's not the national team where even a minute deterioration would not be tolerated. When he thoughts that he could not give his 100% to India, he retired. In IPL, that's not the case, especially regarding chennai where there are so many emotional aspects involved. The fans have no problem, the team management has no problem, its funny to admit but he's still playing better and contributing more than half our team and after all the work he has put (along with the other legends lf the club) to bring csk to the heights it has reached, he deserves this relishing phase where he could finally reap what he sow. But unfortunately that is not the case. Csk has stopped looking like csk, it has stopped playing with the intent of winning, it has practically given up. Us fans are stupid, we have seen Chennai pull so many miraculous comebacks before so we still have hope. But these questions should be asked in team meetings and in quite a harsh way so that we actually live upto our standards and not become just another club instead of being THE best.
#cricket#somi.exe#ipl 2025#kind of went off but I have so much to say#cz we don't settle for less#csk has always aimed at the top#aimed to win the title#this is unacceptable

Hun_groupchat talks
Alias the one, where Milos breaks Captain Domi's infamous skull necklace.
milos: i have to tell you something
ddibusz: I already don’t like this.
milos: :’(((
milos: but promise to not get mad
szancso: Oh, Lord, help us all!
milos: i may have, sort of, accidentally, broke the csk’s skull necklace
séfi: oh.
séfi: lol.
séfi: you are so dead.
séfi: like so dead.
sallai_roli: How did you even do that?
callumstyles: No, the question we should be asking is why did you even have that in the first place?
milos: Barni dared me to steal it
séfi: lmao
ddibusz: @vargabarna You are a grown man, why the hell are you playing dares to a kid?
vargabarna: it was supposed to be just a joke!!
vargabarna: then Milos dropped it
vargabarna: how was i supposed to know he would drop it??
ddibusz: Because you are the adult in the situation. You are supposed to be responsible! Mentoring him, guiding him, not daring him to steal his captain’s necklace!
adamartin: send picture. maybe we fix
milos: *picture sent*
sallai_roli: Yeah, there is no fixing that!
milos: fuckkk:(((
milos: now what
callumstyles: Pray?
ddibusz: Milos, It’s time to face the consequences of your actions. It will be alright, just be honest and say you sorry.
vargabarna: sorry? lol, good one, kid was laughing like a madman like 10 mins ago
milos: bc im literally stressed!!
séfi: i can take you casket shopping. we will find you a nice, comfortable one.
szancso: Stop freaking him out! He’s just a kid, he made a mistake, so what? We all make mistakes, it’s not that big of a deal. We just have to move on, you can't bottle up emotions like that, that will just put so much unnecessary stress on a young player, like Milos!
ddibusz: …
ddibusz: Is this still about the own goal against Serbia?
ddibusz: Because I am telling you, I am not mad. No one is.
willi: Ja, it’s okay. Told you.
szancso: Sigh, no, I was just talking some sense into Milos.
ddibusz: Sure. But still. It’s ok. We won anyway. Happens to the best of us.
willi: Ja.
szancso: Thanks guys. <3 You are the best.
ddibusz: <3
willi: <3
milos: uhmm sorry, can we get back to ME and how im literally going to DIE?!??!?!
sallai_roli: Just tell him. Say you sorry, that it was an accident. He’s not going to kill you.
kevinute: and if he does get angry and want to kill you, you can always just blame it all on @vargabarna
vargabarna: one day, bro, i will end you.
kevinute: yeah, like how you ended your career when you signed for fradi?
ddibusz: That was not nice.
séfi: no, but, it was fucking hilarious.
milos: ?!?!??!?!? im literally crying and throwing up, what do i do
sallai_roli: Tell. Him.
szancso: Just go speak to him. If it doesn’t work out you can always hide in my room. I’m taller than Dominik anyway.
milos: <3333333333333333333 szancso
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
captaindomi: who the fuck broke my necklace?!
séfi: xdddddddddddddddddd.
sallai_roli: He didn’t tell you?! But it has been hours!
captaindomi: who?! bro, i was on the phone, then had to do press, i just got back like 15 minutes ago, and saw my FAV necklace broken, like wtf?!
sallai_roli: Oh, fuck me.
callumstyles: fuck me, indeed.
sallai_roli: What?
callumstyles: what
captaindomi: so… who was it?
adamartin: the kid.
captaindomi: elaborate??
adamartin: young.
kevin_ute: i swear bro, its like you are trying to talk to a rock
vargabarna: why do you have to be such an asshole all the time??
kevin_ute: im not being an asshole, im being REAL, keep up old man.
ddibusz: He’s not even that old!
willi: Ja. Not old.
kevin_ute: well, he is older than ME
captaindomi: I DONT GIVE A SINGLE FUCK HOW OLD IS VARGA, WHO BROKE MY NECKLACE?!
baloghboti: Hello! Sorry to interrupt, I just wanted to say, that when Martin said “the kid” he didn’t mean me, because I didn’t do it. I swear, I was talking with Mr.Rossi about my time in Italy. You can ask him.
captaindomi: I know that it wasn’t you, don’t worry! <3
baloghboti: Thanks kapi! <3
captaindomi: ok, so looks like nobody will tell me
captaindomi: so, i will have to summon the big guns.
captaindomi: @séfi, who was it?
séfi: why are you asking me, like you don’t already know it lol.
séfi: we all know who “the kid” is. obviously, the youngest one in the squad. go take a guess who that is.anyway.
milos: snitch:’(((((((((((
captaindomi: MILOS
callumstyles: Wow, he did actually snitch.
sallai_roli: It’s not actually snitching, because Domi summoned him and Séfi has a free pass.
callumstlyes: What, why?
adamartin: Neuer
kevin_ute: seriously, we all are just going to pretend that Ádám does not communicate like a caveman?
vargabarna: yeah, just like we all pretend you are not a little bitch
ddibusz: Enough!
gula: Who’s yelling in the corridor? It’s nearly eleven in the night, some of us are trying to sleep!
adammartin: the kid
gula: Why?
adammartin: fight
gula: Ok, thanks.
kevin_ute: this is NOT normal

"Couldn't Sleep, Kept Thinking...": Mohit Sharma On Final 2 Balls To Ravindra Jadeja
As Ravindra Jadeja hit the winning runs for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2023 final, Mohit Sharma was shattered, having failed to defend the title for Gujarat Titans.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 final turned out to a sporting spectacle, with Ravindra Jadeja scoring 10 runs off the final 2 balls against Mohit Sharma of Gujarat Titans to earn his team 5th title. While it was pure ecstasy for the Super Kings, the Titans unit was in complete despair after failing to defend the title with the narrowest of margins. Mohit Sharma, who conceded a six and a four on the final two balls of the match to Jadeja, admitted that he couldn’t sleep that night, thinking what he could’ve done differently.
In a chat with The Indian Express, Mohit spoke about his plans and preparation for the final over, which went as planned until the final two balls.
“My mind was very clear in what I wanted to do. In the nets, I had practiced such situations and I have been in such scenarios before too. So I said let me bowl all balls yorkers and was backing my instinct,” the Haryana speedster said.
“They wanted to know what will be plan of action. I said I will again try to bowl yorker. People are now saying this and that but frankly it has no meaning. I knew what I wanted to do,” he added.
WIth Shivam Dube and Ravindra Jadeja on strike, CSK could only score 3 runs from the first 4 balls. But, Jadeja sent the penultimate delivery straight down the ground for a six before hitting a four fine behind the stumps to complete the run-chase.
“I ran and tried to bowl (yorker) again. I just wanted to be focussed and back myself. Whole IPL I have done that. The ball landed where it shouldn’t have and Jadeja got his bat. I tried, I tried my best,” he says.
Having come into the team, literally from nowhere, Mohit truly had a comeback season that he would be remembered for a long time.
He said: “I couldn’t sleep. Sochta raha kya alag karta joh match jeet jaate. What if I could have bowled this ball or that ball? It’s not a nice feeling now. Somewhere something is missing but I’m trying to move on.”
“I was picked from nowhere. I remember speaking to Ani bhai (Anirudh Chaudhary, a veteran Haryana administrator) before the season what shall I do? Shall I continue or not. He had said I should try to play. I had come with no expectation and just have continued to work hard. My work ethic has remained the same. I don’t know what lies ahead, but I have enjoyed my journey,” the pacer went on to say.

IPL: Ravindra Jadeja Openly Reveals CSK Issues As He Takes Subtle Jibe At Fans Behaviour
Ravindra Jadeja has posted another cryptic remark on Twitter. The fans are quizzed after what Jadeja posted on Social Media after CSK vs GT IPL 2023 Qualifier 1.

While MS Dhoni is responsible for the outright dominance of Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League, the consistency showcased by the franchise stalwarts over the years is also another major reason. And when it comes to consistency, then only a few could compete with the utility and balance that Ravindra Jadeja has rendered to the team over the years. Jadeja is a prominent member of the CSK squad, however, off late Jaddu has been posting some cryptic messages on social media making fans speculate whether there is a tiff brewed between CSK and Jadeja.
Following last week's "Karma will get back at you.." Ravindra Jadeja has posted another cryptic message on social media, leaving the fans quizzed regarding who is these posts directed at. Jadeja, who took away the Most Valuable Asset award from the CSK vs GT Qualifier 1 used the award to transmit a statement that he believes some fans are sleeping on. Jadeja won the award after playing vital cameo innings of 22 runs, with the help of which CSK posted 172 on the board. CSK emerged victorious by 15 runs and via the victory reached the final of the IPL 2023. Chennai Super Kings will await the winner of Qualifier 2, where Gujarat Titans will play the winner of the MI vs GT eliminator.
Ravindra Jadeja posts cryptic message on social media yet again
Some fans think Ravindra Jedaja is not happy in the Chennai Super Kings camp, whereas some think there is a tiff with MS Dhoni, however, nothing concrete can be stated as the player has been posting cryptic tweets off late. Jadeja wrote, "Upstox knows but....some fans don't". Here's the latest post by the CSK all-rounder.
Earlier, Jadeja Tweeted the following. The post also garnered attention on social media. and now another addition has caused further worry. Here's the post.
“When I bat at 7, the crowd is disappointed and chant for Mahi bhai. Imagine if I bat higher; they will just wait for me to get out,” Jadeja was quoted as saying in the post-match presentation ceremony after the match against Delhi Capitals. So, while Ravindra Jadeja seems irked with something/someone, what could it be is anybody's guess. And these posts only make the mystery deepen. What do you think is the case, is something serious brewing in the CSK camp?

Top 3 Lowest Totals Defended In IPL History
The Indian Premier League (IPL) is known for high-scoring thrillers, massive sixes, and quick-fire centuries. But sometimes, it’s not about the big scores — it’s about grit, strategy, and nerves of steel. While chasing might be the preferred option in T20s, there have been rare occasions when teams have defended seemingly un-defendable totals.
In this blog, we dive into the Top 3 Lowest Totals Defended in IPL History, where bowlers took center stage and fielding units backed them up to pull off unforgettable victories.
1. Chennai Super Kings Defend 116 Against Kings XI Punjab (2009)
Venue: Durban, South Africa Total Defended: 116/9 Result: CSK won by 24 runs
In the 2009 season, which was played in South Africa, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) pulled off one of the most dramatic defenses in IPL history. Batting first, CSK could only muster a modest 116 for 9 on a tough Durban wicket. None of the batsmen could really settle, and Muttiah Muralitharan was promoted up the order, indicating the batting struggles.
But CSK had a plan. They bowled tight lines and fielded brilliantly. Muttiah Muralitharan and Thilan Thushara were brilliant with the ball, and Matthew Hayden’s early catch lifted the team's energy. Kings XI Punjab crumbled under pressure and managed just 92 runs.
This performance still holds its place as one of the lowest totals defended in IPL history, and it showcased how discipline and teamwork can win matches even without a big score.
2. Sunrisers Hyderabad Defend 118 Against Mumbai Indians (2018)
Venue: Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai Total Defended: 118 Result: SRH won by 31 runs
When Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were bowled out for a mere 118 runs in 18.4 overs at the Wankhede — one of the most batting-friendly pitches in India — most fans thought the match was over.
But the SRH bowling unit had other plans.
Rashid Khan, Siddarth Kaul, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar turned the game into a masterclass of bowling. Mumbai Indians were bowled out for just 87 runs, giving SRH a shock 31-run win.
This remains one of the top 3 lowest scores defended in IPL, and it proved yet again why SRH’s bowling attack was one of the most feared at the time.
The way the SRH bowlers adapted to conditions, stuck to their lengths, and applied relentless pressure was a lesson in T20 bowling. Even a low score can be enough — if you have belief.

3. Punjab Kings Defend 119 Against Sunrisers Hyderabad (2021)
Venue: Sharjah Cricket Stadium Total Defended: 125/7 (Target revised to 120 due to rain; actual successful defense was for 119) Result: PBKS won by 5 runs
In IPL 2021, the Punjab Kings (PBKS) managed to defend a total of just 119 runs against the powerful batting line-up of Sunrisers Hyderabad at Sharjah. The conditions were tricky — the pitch was slow and not ideal for chasing.
PBKS posted a modest total of 125, and after some adjustments, SRH were chasing 120. But the Punjab bowlers held their nerve. Mohammed Shami and Arshdeep Singh executed perfect yorkers and slower balls in the death overs.
The final few overs were nail-biting. Despite wickets in hand, SRH couldn’t accelerate, and PBKS managed to pull off a sensational defense of a low total.
This match stands out as a classic example of bowling under pressure and defending with heart, making it one of the lowest totals defended successfully in IPL history.
What Makes These Defenses Special?
While IPL is often considered a batter’s game, these matches are proof that bowlers can turn things around dramatically. Let’s break down what made these wins possible:
1. Pitch Awareness
All these successful defenses happened on tricky pitches — where the ball wasn’t coming on nicely or where bounce was unpredictable. Smart teams quickly adjusted their tactics.
2. Disciplined Bowling
Be it Rashid Khan’s magic, Shami’s accuracy, or Muralitharan’s mystery, each of these teams had bowlers who didn’t panic and stuck to their plans.
3. Electric Fielding
Defending small totals requires saving every run. Diving stops, sharp catches, and boundary saves played a major role in all three matches.
4. Mental Strength
Perhaps the biggest factor — belief. Teams that defended these low scores never gave up, even when everything seemed to be against them.
Why These Matches Are Important in IPL History
These games remind us that T20 cricket isn’t only about boundaries and sixes. Strategy, courage, and execution under pressure are equally valuable. The top 3 lowest totals defended in IPL history stand as examples of team spirit and smart cricket.
They also prove that in the IPL, no total is too low to defend if you have the right mix of bowlers and belief.
Final Thoughts
The IPL has given us countless high-scoring thrillers, but it’s these rare low-scoring victories that remain etched in memory. They break the stereotype that chasing is always easier and show how thrilling a tight game can be.
As the league grows and evolves, bowlers are becoming more tactical, and we may see even lower totals defended in the future. But for now, these top 3 remain iconic — a true testament to the unpredictable, thrilling nature of the IPL.

Top 5 Most Underrated Players Quietly Making a Huge Impact
In the glare of highlight reels and headline names, some athletes toil away in near‑anonymity, quietly tilting matches in their team’s favor. They don’t dominate social‑media chatter, yet coaches trust them in crunch moments, and teammates know their true worth. Here are five such unsung heroes—across sports and leagues—whose contributions might fly under the radar but are absolutely pivotal.
1. Devon Conway – The Anchor with Extra Gears (Cricket)
While big hitters often steal the spotlight in T20 cricket, Devon Conway is the adhesive every batting order craves. Whether playing for New Zealand or his IPL franchise, Conway slips seamlessly into any situation: steadying during early collapses, accelerating in the middle, or finishing with inventive strokes. His strike rate rarely draws gasps, but his knack for turning 30s into 60s without risky slogs sets platforms for fireworks at the other end. He’s the silent metronome who ensures the innings never flat‑lines.

2. Bruno Guimarães – The Midfield Metronome (Football)
At first glance, Bruno Guimarães’ stat line won’t dazzle like a prolific striker’s. But watch Newcastle United for ninety minutes and his value becomes obvious. He breaks lines with vertical passes, intercepts counters before they blossom, and dictates tempo with one‑touch distribution. Guimarães does the gritty shuttling that frees flair players to venture forward. Without him, transitions stall; with him, they hum. He may not trend on match day, yet nearly every Magpies surge starts from his tidy boots.
3. Marcus Smart – The Defensive Brain (Basketball)
Superstars usually dominate highlight packages in the NBA. Still, Boston’s Marcus Smart remains the textbook example of impact beyond the box score. A relentless perimeter defender, Smart dives after loose balls, draws charges, and switches onto taller forwards without blinking. Offensively, he facilitates ball movement with quick decisions, sacrificing shots to locate hotter hands. Teammates feed off his intensity; opponents feel his pressure from tip‑off to buzzer. Championship contenders crave that glue guy—Smart is the prototype.
4. Sarah Glenn – England’s Unheralded Leg‑Spin Asset (Women’s Cricket)
In a format where women’s spinners often focus on control, Sarah Glenn attacks for wickets. Her flight, subtle variations, and accuracy make her a captain’s dream in the middle overs of T20Is. While bigger names dominate sponsorships, Glenn regularly produces two‑for‑twenty spells that derail chasing sides. She seldom celebrates with theatrics; instead, she jogs back, plots her next over, and builds pressure silently. Her economy and strike rate consistently rank among the best, yet she rarely courts the limelight.
5. Jordan Staal – The Two‑Way Titan (Ice Hockey)
In a sport obsessed with goal scorers, Jordan Staal earns his paycheck doing virtually everything else. As Carolina Hurricanes’ veteran center, he wins face‑offs, kills penalties, and shadows opposing stars shift after shift. His imposing frame screens goalies on power plays, creating havoc even without collecting points. Younger teammates relish the freedom his defensive diligence grants, while coaches sleep easy knowing Staal owns the matchup minutes. He might not top highlight compilations, but his fingerprints are on every close victory.
Why “Underrated” Matters
These five share common traits:
Adaptability: Each seamlessly adjusts to game context—accelerating or anchoring, attacking or defending—depending on team needs.
Consistency: Hype often follows sporadic brilliance; underrated players thrive on reliable, repeatable execution.
Intangibles: Leadership, communication, and tactical awareness rarely translate to flashy statistics yet swing momentum just as decisively.
Team‑First Mindset: They accept unglamorous roles, allowing headline grabbers to flourish.
In an era when algorithms spotlight viral moments, valuing these steady contributors is crucial. Championships aren’t built on isolated sizzles; they’re forged by cumulative, often unseen, excellence. Next time you tune in, look beyond the scoreline. Notice the mid‑over dot balls Conway squeezes out, the interception Guimarães snuffs, the charge Smart absorbs, the wicket Glenn ekes, or the face‑off Staal wins. Those are the quiet acts that, added up, separate contenders from pretenders.
So here’s to the underrated—the heartbeat of every successful team—quietly scripting victories while the cameras chase louder headlines.

18 apr. friday
friday - the 18th. lol.
trying a different white shirt today. it has blue and pink stripes on it. might alternate this one with the branch printed one.
feeling sleepy. it's friday, so. god, just let fridays be wfh. too exhausting. too tiring.
it's good friday today. barely are any companies are in office.
senior coworker went to the vending machine, and i wanted a lassi, so i tagged along. realised halfway that i forgot to take my water bottle, so came back to get it, and went back to the machine. asked him to get me a lassi, and well, saw madam. a trip? sure. enjoy 💙
well, the lassi order was placed, but was cancelled. all items fall down from the vending machine, except lassi? meh. things never go as expected. and then they happen when i am not ready ?
someone please invite me to a trip as well. i might say a no for the first time, but second time's the charm :p
lunch. well, mi won yesterday, so boss said something to me. and well, i said something anti-mi. i don't even remember. yes, it was - "let's talk when mi's match win number is greater than mi's match losses number." haha, he was so triggered. tbh idc who wins or losses, i simply support rcb, whom i have no hopes of winning. well, but being anti-mi and anti-csk for fun in front of fans is really funny.
post-lunch, right after i came down, i turned to get lassi again. placed order, and again, lassi never fell. got refunded later.
boring day. absolute nothingness. felt so sleepy post-lunch, i just went to sleep on my desk. boss had been outdoor for a meeting, so i could sleep carelessly. had a half an hour's nap. the mood around was also lazy. no one around, silence, perfect environment to just... sleep.
was looking into shows on bms for the weekend. no good films. no horror or mysteries. maybe just go with love aaj kal i thought? i haven't watched it yet. but the shows were at weird times. it's the problem always - the re-released films are always played on weird timings.
then just checked mumbai darshan buses. nothing new ofc, but well, just for experience. but not a single reddit forum praising it? meh.
lior is in full bloom! there's a tiny flower popping out. matter of just a week or two, that the spadix comes out. (oh, i googled the term.)

evening. coworkers and i went to maharaja bhog at juhu. through khar subway, then juhu tara road. i don't like living in a city very much. i would any day prefer a semi-urban life. say something like in pune, a little outskirt. maybe, if possible, somewhere near sarasbaug, or even erandwane for that matter. somewhere, where there are people, but not many. hospitals aren't far away. public places aren't much crowded. parks are fairly filled, fairly empty. not something mumbai would ever give me. mumbai steals away from my slow nature. i find it difficult to absorb things here. everything is so fast-paced here. i can barely let life get within me. can barely feel things around me. it's like being a small plant trying to grow on concrete.
it was my second time here today. we came here last year as well. i remember having five bowls of aamras back then.
we had the thali. everyone was eating as food arrived, and i was patiently waiting until all items were on my plate, because i wanted to click a picture. tempted, but i waited. and i eat the slowest haha.

haha, i had fifteen bowls of aamras. too much honestly. should've stopped at five. but then, i wanted more. i stopped at nine. i was done. packed to my limit. but then i saw sunny get more, so i too got more. then i was done at twelve. really packed now. but sunny called the waiter again, and well, another three - so fifteen. on the last round, i would have stopped at fourteen, and the waiter just poured more saying "yeh humari taraf se" haha. such a good, filled day.
bad decision. i could barely stand up straight with a tummy so full. i was afraid i would throw up.
got an auto after a while. with the auto bumping on the road, i was certain that i'd throw up. what else did i expect? never ever again.
and on the other hand, when i saw the rcb score, phish. i really don't expect them to win after 17 seasons now. please win though. i will support you!
and again? like what's this pattern? i was just in the auto, and saw her name on a store. well, ok. nothing much right? that's why i keep connecting patterns. it's better to ignore patterns. there's no fate, just will. and i "will" talk to her someday. but then? (oh, this is the reason why i am even noting this incident), when i reached near shanti nagar, an auto with her name just popped up randomly in front of me. it was in front, moving very slowly for a good two minutes despite no one being in front of it, until mine overtook. those two minutes - every second, i was wondering and amused. because that auto - it randomly popped in front in full speed, and suddenly slowed down. ???
and well, once mine overtook, i thought, nice, because i was overthinking again. but then near the school, the auto overtook us? yo yo yo? what? "you thought you were done, but here’s more." funnily, that auto was moving so slowly at shere punjab, i couldn't have expected it to move fast.
oddly, these days, when i say i am thinking about nothing, it's usually her. ik it's cliche, poetic, and overused again, but well, i cannot lie to the truth.
btw, fare was 165.
had a bath. rcb lost. atb for the next match boys. gts now akash.

Dewald Brevis joins CSK as cover for injured Gurjapneet
Chennai Super Kings' batting this season has been below par, and they could have received the best opportunity in the world in the shape of Dewald Brevis. In fact, the five-time champions have signed the player, popularly known as Baby AB (named after AB de Villiers). Chennai Super Kings has announced this news on their social media post they uploaded on their official Instagram page.
Dewald Brevis to replace injured player in CSK The South African cricketer will be filling in for Gurjapneet Singh, who was injured and could not play IPL 2025. Brevis will be coming into CSK at a price tag of INR 2.2 crore. This is not the first time that Brevis will be representing the IPL. He tasted the league when he played for the 2022-24 season Mumbai Indians. But when he entered the mega auction with a reserve price of 75 crores, he was overlooked by all teams. Now, Brevis has a new home in the marquee league, but that is with a franchise that is a direct competitor to the Mumbai Indians. Brevis has impressed one and all with his clean stroke play. He has played 82 T20 matches and scored 1787 runs at a strike rate of 144, his highest being 162 in an innings. Brevis has been in great form lately. Earlier this year, he was among the top run scorers in the SA20 tournament, where he scored 291 runs for his team, MI Cape Town, in 12 matches at an average of 48.5 and a strike rate of 184. Apart from that, he also showed great form in South African tournaments. For Titans, he was the second highest run scorer in the one-day as well as the first-class tournament. Why is Brevis an apt choice for CSK? In IPL 2025, Chennai Super Kings' batting has been questioned for a lack of intent. And that is exactly what Brevis adds to this side. Popularly referred to as a bold striker, the batter possesses an extraordinary knack of striking the ball in every corner of the ground. Making him a 360-degree player. So, when those middle overs come for CSK, they would like someone like Brevis to just get them moving by scoring at a fast rate. So far, CSK has achieved only two wins out of seven matches. As a result, they are at the bottom of the table, a position one would not associate with them. But the team is in dire need of change, and Brevis can provide that. Earlier, in their match against Lucknow Super Giants, the team gave a debut to young Shaik Rasheed, who also provided the team with a breath of fresh air by scoring quickly at the top. Chennai also lost a significant blow to their campaign with their skipper, Ruturaj Gaikwad, being out of the tournament with a fractured elbow. The team was left in the care of MS Dhoni once again. With just 7 matches to go, CSK now cannot afford to lose a single more game. Only a winning streak can keep them in the contention in this tournament, otherwise they will be the first team to be disqualified from the Playoff tournament.
