Hey hey! I've been seeing Garten of BanBan 6 lately, and I wanted to point out something I noticed at the end..
Spoiler warning
Tumblr media
Sheriff Toadster isn't in the final scene, but Bambalina is... It looks like we will meet the Sheriff again in the next chapter

I spent... WAY too much time on this.
AU where Bittergiggle doesn't die, just passes out from givanium-loss, and Toadster rushes him to Syringeon for help. I'm pretty proud of how these two pages turned out, honestly. If this gets enough notes I may continue the comic, I have a follow up idea for a confrontation between Toadster and Syringeon, after Syringeon patches Bitter' up.
Also, I headcanon that Syringeon gives all his hundreds of kids normal ass names, considering the one confirmed name we have for one of his kids is "Liam." I just think it'd be funny how the Garten has guys with crazy names like Banban, Bouncelia, Dadadoo, Bittergiggle, Syringeon's own freaking name, and the guy chooses to give his kids names like "Courtney" and "Ryan."

Could you imagine a scene where we burst through a door where Sir Dadadoo is keeping a weakened Sheriff Toadster prisoner and we just start spewing out bullcrap at Sir Dadadoo in a western accent like this:
Player: *bursts through the door* Where is he? Where's the bastard that took 'im down?!
Sir Dadadoo: That would be me, what do you want, Player?
Player: *pointing at the sheriff* That man was mah pard'ner in fighting crime, and now the whole thing's in shambles cause you JUMPED the son of a b*tch! I want mah payback. *loads glock* DUEL ME BOY!!
Currently facing art block
I might redo this again😭

The Naughty Ones and the Rebellion explained:
I'm seeing a lot of people still confused on the origins of the naughty ones along with how they (including Sir Dadadoo) ended up trapped inside Queen Bouncelia's pouch. So I thought I'd help explain.
Naughty Ones Orgin:
First the naughty ones were created together by Sir Dadadoo and Queen Bouncelia. We learn this in Case #14 Update #15.
Tumblr media
"Given the impressive regenerative properties of Givanium, the expedition team have provided evidence that cases 14 and 18 are using their own genomes to produce cases of their own."
Case #14 being Queen Bouncelia. While Case #18 is Sir Dadadoo.
We know they're Queen Bouncelia's children partially due to a line from Garten of Banban 4:
Tumblr media
Queen Bouncelia: "I think I know. A worried parent can spot another worried parent from a mile away."
The Rebellion:
Note: I added to the reports parentheses () to make it easier to understand which case is each.
The Second half to Case #14 Update #15 reveals:
"Although research on subcases (or cases that have two Givanium-based entities as their donors as defined in the employee handbook) has been minimal, experts predict that these subcases will have identical levels of obedience as their genome donors."
"Cases 9 (Toad Sheriff), 14 (Queen Bouncelia), 17 (Bittergiggle), and 18 (Sir Dadadoo) would not have known this to be possible without insider information, and we believe Case 4 (Syringeon) to be the informer. Predictions show that a rebellion is imminent. We await management's instructions on how to proceed."
Syringeon taught them that they could create cases of their own IE children. The naughty ones were created and a rebellion was planned but failed.
This is shown in Case #14 Update #17 -
Tumblr media
"As per management's request, cases 4 (Syringeon) (now permanently moved to the lower levels), 9 (Sheriff Toadster), 14 (Queen Bouncelia), and 17 (Bittergiggle) were given 24 hours to decide on whether they will proceed with their malevolent plan or completely destroy any and all feats they have achieved this far,"
They were all given the opportunity to cast aside the rebellion except for Sir Dadadoo.
"unbeknownst to case 18 which appears to be the most in favor of said plan."
Although not explicitly stated we know Sir Dadadoo is Case #18 because of multiple scenes.
Tumblr media
Sir Dadadoo: "Consider it part of the payback for what was done to me. Plus I need to make sure history doesn't repeat itself."
Tumblr media
Sir Dadadoo: "Together and under my command, we will finish what the queen couldn't."
We also know Case #17 is Bittergiggle because of this exchange:
Tumblr media
Bittergiggle: "We had no choice. They were going to destroy us all!"
Tumblr media
Sir Dadadoo: "You did have a choice. and you chose wrong."
Due to the fear of death.
"A very violent outcome was hinted at if they had decided to go with the former. As per management's request, we are keeping annihlation of all participanting cases and newly-formed subcases as a last restort, given how financially ruining that option would be."
Behind Sir Dadodoo's back they trapped him and the naughty ones inside Queen Bouncelia's pouch using the scepter to create a temporary peace.
Tumblr media
Sir Dadadoo: "So this is where the key to my prison was stored away."
To prevent any future rebellions they're also checked on regularly.
"An expedition will be dispatched bi-weekly from now on to ensure that cases 4 (Syringeon), 9 (Sheriff Toadster), 14 (Queen Bouncelia), 17 (Bittergiggle), and 18 (Sir Dadadoo) are not getting any unwanted thoughts again."

Yo bro I’ve been meaning to ask so Imma say it now before I regret it: I wanna know how u interpret the Queen Bouncelia, Toadster and Bitty’s friendship together before Bitty got kicked out bcs I’m also working on a big project involving them three and I wanna know other people’s perspectives on them (still tryna study communication, manga and the social world so hehehe thank you) :)))
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
OK SOOO.... Until now I've been procrastinating on their relationship cause it's a whole mess and there's one factor that keeps me from developing it that I'll say later-
Soo to start, Bittergiggle and Bouncelia have this sort of mother-child relationship where she takes care of him (emotionally speaking) and treats him as if he were her child. Bittergiggle clings to her and feels most comfortable when he's around her. Then Toadster enters the picture- The queen greets him with warmth and kindness and the two form a friendship. Bittergiggle at first starts annoying him with jokes n what not because that's his initial reaction to meeting someone in general (mostly to try and drive them out). Then as time goes on he starts warming up to toadster and sees him as a good old friend instead of some random guy that just waltzes into his one and only home.

This shit was a fucking acid trip, like most of the game.
Anyway, something that poked my brain was the Infirmary. For all this game's insanity, there were actually some decent roots planted for worldbuilding/ character development.
Tumblr media
It seems like the reason the cast ended up in Queen Bouncelia's domain is because they're treating the player as if they have 6 stars in GTA. Seline is no exception to this rule, and that seems to be her motivation for coming down to the lower floor, as she watched us leave in Chapter 3.
Toadster noted in his "Archives" that she was already hiding when brought in, and crying in her shell. She may have been antagonized by a bigger enemy- likely Kittysaurus or Tama/Chamataki (turtle chameleon thing), and she may have gone past the kingdom's walls for sanctuary. (That's just a loose theory, though.)
In any case, at some point she was frightened enough to shut down completely.
This could be some kind of anxiety attack, though there's no way to "diagnose" Seline at this point. Also interesting that Seline felt too afraid to even continue moving around on the lower floors. I think this is meant to speak to just how dangerous the lower floors are- if the giant ass snail is afraid, you should be, too.
Tumblr media
Next, Jumbo Josh. Toadster categorizes him as a "Green Gorilla", which in hindsight, weirdly makes a lot of sense.
Firstly, an adult silverback gorilla can bench up to 4,000 lbs (or at least, that's what google told me.) Not that we needed an explanation of why he was able to throw Stinger Flynn, but I can only assume that if we adjusted that number for his size...it probably checks out.
Second, the fact that he walks like a chiropractor's worst nightmare. It took me a second, but I FINALLY realized that his posture is meant to IMITATE A GORILLA. Like, look at this:
Tumblr media
DEFINITELY EXPLAINS WHY HE WALKS LIKE A HORSE IN GARRY'S MOD.
And thirdly, Josh's love for vegetables is also a gorilla trait. 85% of a gorilla's diet is leafy greens, with the remaining percentage basically amounting to termites and larvae.
Tumblr media
Not too much to say about the Fucked Up Birds, but still! Nice to see them finally displaying a flamingo behavior (AKA their sleeping posture) because they seemed to lean more heavily on ostrich behaviors in previous chapters.
Tumblr media
Toadster mentions in his archive for "The Teacher" that she keeps repeating the phrase "I can't be late" over and over to herself after being subdued.
He also notes that the bowling pins "calmed her down," which may not entirely be the case. In Chapter 3, in Banbaleena's "Classroom", each object had an assigned role like Cool Kid and Popular Kid. The bowling pins were meant to be the Bullies.
So Banbaleena is likely stuck in a prison of her own self-doubts right about now, which is doubly sad when considering her insistence in Chapter 3 that she was actually trying to be a good teacher. Either someone placed this idea in her head that she needs to strictly adhere to all these rules, or it's a stress she placed upon herself trying to fulfill her identity as a teacher.
Tumblr media
Stinger Flynn gets better as the story progresses. He seems to have an ego to the point where he sees himself as a savior that can't see the faults in his own plans. His initial "safest procedures" plan seemed so obvious to him, but it seems as if he measures success by efficiency rather than the cost of human lives. While he's smart, he's not immune to being wrong, though he has yet to learn this.
He also seems to suffer from some form of depression, or at least intense sadness, and we see this as he talks to Banban in the latest hallucination sequence. Makes sense- his intelligence would make him much more privy to all the horrible things happening around him. It seems as if his high intelligence comes at a high price.
Tumblr media
Last note- This might just be a case of recycling animations/rigs, but I think it's cute that Banban shares nearly the same emo pose as Banbaleena.

everyone tends to ask why garten of banban has survived this long and it isnt because of popular streamers, the memes, etc.
it's because of the fujoshi law where a franchise can only survive if there's yaoi to substain the fujoshis
theres literally like yaoi in garten of banban and no has pointed it out yet
[banban x stinger flynn] toxic yaoi
[sheriff toadster x bittergiggle] doomed yaoi
[syringeon x sir dadadoo] lovers-to-enemies yaoi

Tiny
Chapter 9: Screaming
Crying.
That was all Bittergiggle heard for the last seven days.
Twenty-four seven a day. A hundred and sixty-eight hours. TEN THOUSAND AND EIGHTY MINUTES. SIX HUNDRED AND FOUR THOUSAND AND EIGHT HUNDRED SECONDS.
All of it, for a whole week, was spent listening to the kid cry her lungs out.
Crying crying crying. That was all the kid did now.
Wailing her lungs out as Bittergiggle tried to calm her down. He didn’t know what set her off. She had been so quiet before, and now she was screaming her head off like no tomorrow.
The two idiots weren’t much help.
The pair of clones had backed themselves into a corner, trying to get away from the screaming infant. And even if they weren’t of much use, Bittergiggle didn’t want to rely on any of their help after coming back and seeing the mess they created watching over Scylla.
“Kiiiiiid, what do you want?” Bittergiggle whined as Scylla cried in his arms. “You’ve been crying nonstop for a week! Do you just enjoy hearing your voice that much?” He asked the infant, holding her up as she continued to cry.
Bittergiggle had tried everything to get the tiny jester to calm down, but nothing seemed to work. She kept crying, and crying, and crying, and crying. Nonstop crying for every hour of every day.
The jester almost felt like crying himself as he tried to think what the problem could be.
Maybe there was something wrong with her? She looked fine, but what if something bad was going on inside her? If there was, shouldn’t he take her to Syringeon and have him look her over?
No. Definitely not. The surgeon would likely only slam the door in his face if he went to him for help.
But what if it was serious? What if Scylla had something bad or dangerous going on inside her that he couldn’t see? Wouldn’t Syringeon help then?
There was a long back-and-forth debate inside the jester’s mind, pacing with worry that grew the longer the kid kept crying. Finally, after a long agonizing hour, Bittergiggle decided it was time to pay the surgeon a visit.
One little problem though.
Scylla was still crying and people were bound to hear her.
Especially a certain toad he’d been trying to avoid.
If Scylla’s crying got the sheriff’s attention, then that would lead to a whole lot of problems he didn’t want to deal with on top of the kid’s constant crying.
First he had to find something that would muffle her screaming till he managed to get to Cityngeon.
“Please tell me you figured out where the off switch is.” Houdini pleaded, holding Scylla far away in his hands after Bittergiggle had shoved her into his grasp.
“Not yet.” Bittergiggle, searching through his closet for something that could work. Maybe if he wore something heavy, he could hide Scylla under it to muffle her screaming just long enough to get to the lower floors. But what was thick enough to work without suffocating the kid? “Syringeon might know something.”
“The four-armed Mutant you’ve mentioned before?” Allen said, cringing as the kid let out another piercing wail.
“Yep.” Pulling out an old poncho, Bittergiggle examined it. It was big, and thick, but he didn’t quite think the colors suited him. He was half tempted to throw it out.
Then again, it was an old gift from Toadster, and the old thing had a special meaning to him.
He glanced at the pale blue and pink faded colors, feeling a mix of emotions deep inside before deciding it should go back into the closet for now, and pulled out a different poncho that went much better with his color scheme.
“Hopefully, he’ll have some answers to fix this.” Bittergiggle slipped the poncho on, making sure it was big enough to cover his body.
“He better! I can’t stand listening to the kid screaming her head off the whole time!” Houdini said.
“God, I wish she stops crying soon.” Poe lamented, and Bittergiggle rolled his eyes.
He checked himself over, figuring the dark colors would help in blending in the shadows to sneak around… and suddenly noticed that the room had gone eerily quiet.
The jester looked back in surprise, finding Scylla, the infant who had been screaming her head off, for an ENTIRE WEEK, calmly staring at him with her big old eyes.
The room had gone silent.
“… are you secretly a genie or something?” Houdini asked, glancing at Allen with a look that screamed jealousy.
“Wha–no?!” Allen looked at Houdini as if he said something insulting to him. “I didn’t do this!”
“But she stopped screaming when you said you wished she’d stop crying soon!”
“That doesn’t mean I did anything!”
The two began to argue again, and Bittergiggle let out a sigh. Seems like the kid was fine now, which means he didn’t have to get down on his knees before Syringeon and beg him to see what was wrong with her.
Shaking his head, Bittergiggle took the poncho off, deciding he didn’t need it now that Scylla wasn’t crying… except she started crying again just as he put the poncho away.
“Oh no, look what you’ve done!” Allen bemoaned as Scylla’s screaming started anew. “You upset the kid!”
“Me?! It was all your doing! You wishing didn’t do–”
“I’m not a genie!”
Bittergiggle groaned, pulling out the poncho again. Guess his pride will have to go to the grave.
Once again he slipped the poncho on, ready to head down and try to persuade the gruff older Mutant to help… and once again Scylla stopped crying.
Bittergiggle stared at the kid in confusion. Why had she started screaming and crying just moments ago and then suddenly stop?
“Oh now you finally stop screaming.” Houdini huffed, bringing Scylla over to his face. “What’s with you? You’ve been crying your head off for days and only now you decided that you don’t want to? What’s with you?”
“Maybe she’s hungry?” Allen offered. “She’s a baby after all, maybe she wants something to eat.”
“She can’t be hungry! Mutants don’t need to eat.”
“Well, maybe something was scaring her!”
“What could possibly have scared her? Everything is the same as it exactly was when she first came here two weeks ago!”
Two weeks ago. Something about that comment made Bittergiggle frown deeply on his purple side.
Two weeks ago.
He glanced around the place. Everything was as it had been when he first brought the kid here. The space, the clothes over the test tubes, the tables, the clones, his cl–
Bittergiggle’s eyes widened, lifting the poncho to gaze down at himself.
Scylla started crying again.
“Oh what did you do now?!”
“I didn’t do anything! You’re the one who probably did something!”
Bittergiggle dropped the poncho, and Scylla stopped crying.
He lifted it, and the kid began to wail again.
Dropping it, she went quiet.
The jester almost wanted to break down laughing while simultaneously slapping himself.
🧪
Fabric fluttered in the air as a bundle of clothes, tied together in a knot, was thrown into the deep pit.
Bittergiggle watched in silence as his old uniform disappeared into the darkness far below, feeling a bit vindicated once it was gone from his sight.
“It’s the preferred outfit, Case 17. It was designed before you were made. It looks great on you. It’s not horror-inducing. Kids will love seeing you in it. There’s nothing wrong with the design so stop complaining.” The jester let out a huff, looking down at the kid strapped against his chest. “A word of wisdom, kid. Never take fashion advice from people who only wear lab coats twenty-four seven.”
Scylla blinked slowly, quietly staring at Bittergiggle as the jester turned and headed back to his hideout.

Talk Your Way Out! (Cancelled…)
Well, not exactly…
Prologue Part 4: Queen’s Pursuivants.
Well yeah I knew this was coming-NUH UH THAT AIN’T MY PLAN-
Yeah so I realized that this project ain’t going well, considering the fact that:
1. The script is very messy. YEAH I placed so much good ideas for the upcoming chapters but it feels like it was smooshed in and not well explained. The timeline isn’t explained as well, seeing that people didn’t notice the timeskip between Part 1 and Part 2.
2. The characters are not well put out. I didn’t really explain why they were acting out of character and the readers can’t symphatize well with these characters as they don’t know what the purpose of the scenes are for. Characters are out of character for no reason as I didn’t delve into that until further chapters, which in this case will still make people confused. They can act like they are, but I gotta give an explanation for it, which I failed to do in the current prologue.
3. Many people find it confusing rather than enjoyable. I’ve received lots of feedback on how it was ordered or how the story flows. Basically responding to the feedback and thinking about it more; ya, it is confusing the more I reread it. So yeah, that’s one of the reasons.
4. The execution isn’t as great as I thought I did. People got confused between chapters ‘cause the thought bubble wasn’t really recognizable (my indescribable art is pouring towards the story plotline ☠️). Some scenes are also not portrayed well as I lack the ability to show their positions on where they’re at or what situation they’re in (still kinda bad with that atm, will change soon). Expression and dialogue-wise it’s fine, but I didn’t like how I was using similar formats for the panels or some expressions seemed repetitive. Same goes for the speech bubbles. I still like the dialogues tho.
5. Not much recognition. Ya okay this is probably the least important part of what I want from this project. Yeah okay I admit it that’s also a reason I stopped this project. From the first part to the two other parts, it stopped getting that much attention and I felt like there’s something that’s making people lose interest. I spam reblog as a result, which I regret doing. This is why I even thought about ‘cancelling’ the project.
6. Wrong timing. Always posting it on dead hours, or when the fandom ain’t active. Too impatient, pretty sure. I promote it way too much with spam reblogs, which I still regret.
I changed my reasoning from ‘likes and reblogs will make me famous’ to ‘I need this community to provide feedback so I can improve myself as I grow and eventually get accepted in the ‘big artists’ community from now on.
I’m learning from my mistakes, and basically something for me to experience so I wouldn’t repeat again. So at the moment, it is cancelled…
BUT.
I never said it was cancelled with a period ;)
Stay tuned for my next few posts as it’ll revolve around this situation :))
While waiting, have some scenes of the aforementioned Part 4. I specifically like this part ‘cause I think it potrays these two a lot better, I just didn’t explain why Toadster was acting the way he is, which is repulsive and mean. I’ll be explaining that in my next few posts (No, I don’t ship them btw, I rarely ship characters unless it’s canon in the lore).
As for the deleted posts this morning, I figured it wasn’t the best time to post it, so expect it when the fandom is active again. See ya!

The conversation between Bouncelia and Toadster that would determine the fate of Bittergiggle. I thought it would be fun context for the au I've made so far to see where this all started so to speak :)
