- One by one you both watched as everyone was drawn. When it was just down to four of you, Naruto prayed he would get Kiba

- You both gave a side eye when you were the last opponents

There he stood, across from you on this dirty cement floor and he was mesmerized on how you could just smile.

Sorry to answer your quick question with a long text, but I'm just like this... 🥹

So, since I was a kid, I never watched Naruto thinking about couples, I was never a "stan", as they say. I just loved the story and the characters.

It was only very recently, when I started to like the character Suigetsu and researched everything about him, that I saw how perfect I think his relationship with Karin is.

I say this because, as much as I like the cannon couples and defend the story of some of them, I do it more because I respect Kishimoto's decision of the ending and because I think it's cute, but I didn't research it in depth to ship it faithfully like I do with SuiKa. I ship when I think that, based on the character's story and the context, they make a good couple.

So, here are some same-sex couples I ship (using information that I think makes them perfect for each other):

Itachi x Kisame

I never really thought about it because I'm not a fan of Itachi, but I like Kisame, so I never saw them together romantically. But I've been thinking and researching about it for a few months now, and after seeing some cute art of them, I'm even more convinced.

I think Kisame fell in love first, and like Sasuke, I don't think Itachi was emotionally mature enough to reciprocate, but as an artist, I plan on pretending that they had a lot of loving moments together and I'll draw them as soon as I have time (I already have some sketches). 🩷

Gaara x Rock Lee

I don't like shipping characters that I feel have a more "innocent" aura. Rock Lee, Jugo, Mitsuki... I see them as babies. But I like to hear everyone's opinion and, sometimes, they convince me.

I like GaaLee nowadays, even though I don't have much information for it, but I just like the idea that the two of them are single parents who share a mutual love for each other and their children, and I also think that Rock Lee's energy would make Gaara's life happy, since he has such a sad past...

Izumo x Kotetsu

I don't need to say anything, right? They've been cannon since the first chapters they appeared, that's just a fact. They're stuck together like nails and flesh, nowadays they must be living together and traveling the world on a never-ending honeymoon. 💖💖💖

A little steal on the list: Sakura x Karin

This one doesn't make any sense, I only shipped them when I was younger, I didn't care about Suigetsu and I hated Sasuke. I just wanted them to use their love for Sasuke to get closer and form a couple, and they were my favorite female characters 🥹🥹 Obviously I don't think that way anymore nowadays, but I'll still draw them together a lot just because I really like it lol.

Another little steal: SuiKarin

Haha, I know it doesn't fit here, but I just think they love each other too much and have enough experience to have tried a lot of things together. After Naruto invented the Sexy jutsu, anything is possible, right? I still want to draw SuiKarin yaoi and SuiKarin yuri... I'm looking forward to it 🫣🫣

Now, other couples that I find cute when I see them, but I don't have enough information to ship them:

Kakuzu x Hidan (I think Hidan would be easy with Kakuzu, but Kakuzu seems too shallow to be with anyone...? Although Hidan seems to be very convincing when he wants to be...), Sasori x Deidara (I'm not just talking about sexuality here, but also about feelings. If Sasori still loves his parents, he can love someone romantically, and I think it's cute to think of him with Deidara. But that said, I didn't feel any chemistry between them in the scenes where they appear together. I'm rewatching Naruto now, maybe my opinion will change, and I hope it does, because I think the art of them together is really cute...), Jiraya x Orochimaru and Tsunade (This is another steal from the list, I shipped them when I was younger, haha. I just think they're a trio that only works if the three of them are together, and if it's just two of them, it doesn't work, you know? It's a hc I've had for a long time. Unfortunately, it didn't come to fruition... In fact, I have another ship with 3 people that I think would close the anime with a flourish, but I'll never be able to say which one it is publicly... 🥹)

Just about Kiri and the Swordsmen of the Mist

I think that just like in Akatsuki, they (the Seven) must have had romances between them too. And unlike Konoha, Kirigakure doesn't seem to care so much about marriage, starting a family and things like that... In fact, I don't know if it's cannon (I don't think so), but it really struck me when I saw in the anime that one of the call girls that Jiraya went out with was married to one of the men that Jiraya captured to get information about Pain. I still think to this day "wow, the people of Kiri are so bold..." .

Anyway, thinking about Kisame's story, they even avoided that (love someone). So I think there had a lot of "quick romances", maybe with more than one person at the same time. They weren't very emotional, you know? Life was hard, just killing and missions... So relationships were just a way to de-stress. That's one of the things that made me ship ItaKisame, because I think that even though he thought that way just because he grew up among the cold population of Kiri, Kisame ended up falling in love with Itachi after knowing him more than he knew anyone else.

Spending time with companions ends up breaking the coldness, even of assassins, so I think there must have been couples who loved each other within the Seven, but I just don't have enough information to know who would end up with who. Give me information, Kishi... 😭

I'm sorry for being so annoying about ships 🥹 But I really like having evidence that makes me like the couple. There are cannon couples that I don't like at all, even though I drew them...... And there are others that I love, but like with SuiKarin, we'll never have confirmation... But since things are complicated on the internet, I prefer to keep my opinion about them to myself.

Well, that would explain why he’d not asked about it.

“And you did not—you never said anything, so…”

“I was going to ask you that morning,” Gaara told him. “But you ran.”

“Kankurō was there!”

“Why does that matter?”

Lee looked suddenly horrified. “Because—I could not—that is private!”

Gaara decided in that moment to never tell Lee that Kankurō knew essentially everything, given how many times he’d used his brother as a sounding board while trying to understand Lee’s reaction.

tbh i hadn't really thought about it lol

but.... let's say it happens during the search for tsunade arc? orochimaru and jiraiya are both gunning to get her on their side but you know what? the shark man said please. get your shit shizune we're going with these guys if you poison the little red-eyed shit on the way no judgement (kisame: maybe don't though?)

jiraiya is pissed, orochimaru is torn between being amused bc wow and being in agonizing pain bc his arms still don't work, naruto keeps trying to get her to come heal lee (and now sasuke) but she's having none of it so she just throws a file of miscellaneous notes at his head and tells him "find someone with good chakra control and pray" (sakura: omg i have good chakra control!!!!)

weirdly the member of team seven affected most by this is sasuke bc sakura has absolutely no fucking clue what she's doing at first and it takes her like an extra month to wake him up, so he needs to get back on his feet before he can decide if he wants to run off to orochimaru or not. lee is.... kinda sol, frankly. sakura works really really hard to help him out, and she's eventually able to get him to a place where he can do a few things, but by the time she's good enough to really be able to help him it's way too late. fortunately he's adapted somewhat, and being lee he's surpassed what anyone thought he'd be able to, but he's never going to be what he could've been. gaara feels terrible about this ofc but lee isn't the sort to really hold a grudge, even if pretty much everyone agrees he'd be perfectly justified in doing so. gai never forgives tsunade, though, not really.

concerning tsunade's role in the akatsuki.... the thing is, it's her own grandparents who started the whole jinchuuriki mess. and she's seen with her own two eyes what konoha did to places like amegakure; she was part of it. she doesn't like that the jinchuuriki die post extraction, so she starts looking into how to make that not happen, but if she does succeed, it isn't until after the gaara debacle, so chiyo still dies. her biggest motivation here is naruto - she doesn't agree with him, but he reminds her of nawaki, so she really doesn't want him to die if at all avoidable. she doesn't get too involved in the actual jinchuuriki capturing process tho; she's more useful patching people up after.

having said that, she doesn't fully agree with pain and konan's plan, she just can't really think of anything better. tobi tells sasuke about itachi while tsunade is patching him up, and since it's her family that led to this, she's pretty on-board with the whole "fuck this stupid baka village" thing (ofc she's been heading down that path since joining the akatsuki, so this isn't like canon!tsunade suddenly making this call; there's a couple years of character development first), so.... she's effectively on team sasuke at this point, and once he splits from the akatsuki she does as well.

iirc, post danzou, sasuke spent about eight and a half volumes just kinda adjusting mostly offscreen to his recent ert (eyeball replacement therapy), before skewering og white zetsu and fucking off to go accidentally reunite with zombitachi, but aside from decking itachi through a few trees on sight, idk how much about all that would change. immediately after, when sasuke brings back orochimaru, they have an awkward reunion, followed by yet another awkward reunion when orochimaru brings back the four dead hokage. she's both very happy to see her granddad again, but it's hard for her to tell him (and hiruzen, for that matter) that she deserted the village completely, even if she doesn't regret her decision.

now you may be wondering: weren't shizune and tonton also around? yes! but when sasuke went after danzou, they stayed behind, leading to shizune finding and managing to save konan after tobito killed her. there's a potential romance subplot there as well but i accidentally ruined it for myself by saying aloud "two girls one pig" and then regretting my whole life.

the other survival is jiraiya; he becomes hokage instead since it's either one of the sannin or one of the elders, and as much as he doesn't want the job, he really doesn't want them to have it. this in part means he can't go spying in ame himself, although he very nearly does after orochimaru's death gets reported, but instead he sends someone else. that person dies, but manages to get the information back to him (it has to be someone important to naruto, and it can't be kakashi, so maybe iruka? but idk how he'd be in espionage. maybe one of naruto's classmates did spy training offscreen? it's entirely possible with jiraiya as hokage instead of tsunade but idk). since jiraiya isn't a healer, he'd either need to be injured badly enough for danzou to be able to step in without him being able to object, or sasuke would just need to have his fight with danzou somewhere else (so the raikage's arm might survive also).

the final thing is that, unlike in canon, this version of tsunade never got naruto therapy'd, so while she does eventually get over the hemophilia somehow (maybe just existing in the relative vicinity of hidan did the trick), she never really dealt with the grief that caused her to leave konoha in the first place, so that's still very much there. however, i think maybe this could work to the story's advantage - instead of just naruto vs sasuke, it could be naruto and sakura vs sasuke and tsunade. tho in this instance sasuke really isn't alone, and isn't really trying to be by that point. it's more a battle of "do we try to fix the system from within, or do we really need to start from scratch for things to improve in any meaningful way", but ultimately the winner is the realization that four people from konoha not only shouldn't but honestly can't be the only ones making this call. if the world is going to move forward, it can't be dragged by a single person, or even two people. it's gotta be a group effort. idk if the story should go into the details of what they decide on, bc i'm definitely not politically savvy enough for something like that, or just have an open ending leaving whatever happens next up to interpretation.

-starting us off right here: I flip between Gaara’s gender but honestly I maintain the idea he has tboy swag and most of Suna was too afraid to question it for years and now it’s just the norm. Not to mention his general physique and medical neglect aided in pushing off puberty.

-gaara still has erratic mood swings post chin in exams even when he’s getting better and learning. That boy faced traumatic events from a young age and then was neglected and hunted for sport on top of total isolation. That shit doesn’t go away just because a blonde boy punches you with the power of friendship ok.

-that being said I will maintain the idea his siblings Lee and Naruto are the only ones he feels he can relax a bit with.

-also I do not see people making him weird enough. Cause affectionately as someone who like also experienced isolation, trauma and neglect. You end up having weird interests and like just a r e the weird kid. And I mean yes he is the weird kid, but like…… make him weirder you know lol.

- he loves gardening he talks to his plants. He also likes animals, and is fiercly protective of small kids. That amplifies as he gets older and temari has kids of her own.

-I also think he is a funny guy but his humor is super dry or a little dark. But he will catch you off guard and say some of the most out of pocket shit I swear.

-I am a medaru is gaara’s biological kid truther. I’ll maintain the idea medaru was not planned. Lee absolutely stayed in Suna for a longer period of time and Lee subjected Gaara to routine and healthy habits and the stars aligned and medaru happened.

-honestly ever since I read the brunch fic (I linked it I love it please.) I love the idea of modern au gaara incorporating his mother’s ashes into his garden. It’s sweet.

-I also love the idea that the face tattoo fades as time goes on. Like he stops carving out the wound as a reminder and it fades with time which is a lovely show of his character change.

-I also like everyone else believe he and Lee begin corresponding through letters. Particularly I think the letters begun either after gaara’s death, where Lee wrote to him. Or perhaps Gaara begun them because he was growing and changing and felt guilty about Lee and reached out (at Naruto’s suggestion.)

-following the last point, I can never decide if when gaara died in shippuden if I headcanon Lee realized he was inlove with him and had feelings then the moment he thought he lost gaara.

-both Lee and gaara are gossip mongers I do not care. Gaara finds out so much shit and caught the gossip gene from his brother. He is nosy.

-I also think gaara is still a menace. A little shit even. He thinks it’s funny to fuck with people just a little bit.

-that being said I think he doesn’t do it often unless you work with him or he’s really close and you know he would never hurt you now.

- adding onto that, I will also say I headcanon that in his attempt to become more palatable for his people and suppress his mood swings and correct his behavior, he gets taken advantage of more often and gaara just lets it happen more sometimes because he’s afraid of slipping back into the old image. Especially once he feels connected to his people again. Gaara despite past transgressions chooses to be kind and gentle. He always was a kind gentle child. I think that shows a lot more as an adult and that shit takes so much strength.

-I am a rasa hater so. You know. Fuck rasa, he abused all his kids post the death of their mother.

-I also love the idea gaara has super human senses from shukaku. He can see better at night, detect and smell things better. That being said he isn’t immune to illness, he has gotten sick because his health is absolute dookie okay. He doesn’t sleep his immune system is shit.

-he had the fattest crush on Naruto I do not care lol.

-he doesn’t exactly hate sasuke. But he very much dislikes him because he mistreats Naruto.

-gaara is a crier. Like when he isn’t compartmentalizing and disassociating to cope with his mood swings and trauma, he is a leaky faucet.

-also convinced the whole chunin arc was a really fucked up way of him going friend? Because literally the only way he ever learned to socialize is through violence. The whole thing with him showing up at sasuke’s training was he tried to be friend cause he said “oh you’re fucked up too huh? Wanna fight about it?”

-gaara has the earth sign stank face when he doesn’t like something.

-gives solid advice

-modern au headcanons (might be courtesy of the moss cough cough) he would get into therapy and want to become a therapist lol, he gives solid advice. Also the incident with Lee will always be either he hits him with a car or my personal favorite (potentially for a fic I am brewing) he beat that fucker with a lead pipe when Lee tried to be a Good Samaritan and got involved :)

-also love the idea of gaara had substance abuse issues to cope in modern aus.

-oh and I love when shukaku is brought in as a fucking small crusty white dog with bad manners and barks too much. I may be biased because I have a white crusty small dog who barks too much and has an attitude that rivals god himself.

-gaara hilariously doesn’t actually like fighting especially as an adult. He by nature is nervous and it just sets his ass on edge.

You’d never be his mother, just as Iruka would never be his father. But you two had tried, you had been the one to feed the screeching blonde baby his 3am bottles in between ANBU missions and eventually had taught alongside Iruka in the Academy. Seeing him now, with the sweet girl who’d bring you lilacs every day as a gift with a shy nod, having said their vows and exchanged rings, you had never been more thankful for sacrifices made along the way.

You also felt old. Even though you were only 27.

The reception began in earnest, guests greeting the beaming couple and Iruka standing beside Hinata’s father thanking passers by.

Having taught all of the kids in the academy, being close to Naruto and soon becoming Lady Fifth’s right hand woman beside Shizune - these kids felt just like yours. You’d mopped up their blood, dried their tears as anyone would for their kids.

You had spent so much time with them, made them take their medicine, trained with them, studied with them, mediated petty arguments (Ino and Sakura) and mended broken hearts with them. Of course, there was also the other reason.

The 6ft, silver haired reason standing in the corner. Your best friend since childhood, your Shinobi partner, your partner in crime and the love of your life.

Not that the last part came to light until about 3 months ago, when before the final battle arrived you woke up realising you might die tomorrow. He might die tomorrow. Life was too short, you’d lost too many people to forsake this chance - even though his fear of losing people he loved, and your fear of losing your other half was what kept that unspoken gap between you all these years. How you came to get together after almost 25 years of pining was a story for another day, however, because today was Hinata and Naruto’s day.

You could see Sakura, in the distance - she’d intercepted a messenger bird and pulled the scroll from its foot, and you saw her smile. Only one person can make your Sakura smile like that. Sasuke. On his journey of atonement, who knows where - but still thinking of Naruto, and Sakura. His friends. His family.

Sai stood hand in hand with Ino, a genuine smile on his face and love in both their eyes. A blushing, wait, blushing Temari stood beside Shikamaru - when did that happen? You all knew it was coming, but didn’t know it had happened. Tsunade caught your eye and winked, raising a glass of champagne in your direction. Shino and Kiba were monitoring Rock Lee and Gai who were causing mild havoc and Choji was at the Hor D’Ouvres already. TenTen stood near Kurenai and Mirai. So many loved ones, but too many missing. Neji should be here for this. Jiraiya would be so proud.

You watch the Kazekage make conversation with Kakashi who looks absolutely miserable among so many people, and you decide to save him. You grab Sai as you walk towards the Hokage and Gaara of the Desert.

“Lord Kazekage, thank you again so much for attending today. It means very much to Naruto to have you here with him today. Hinata too, although I suppose I can just call them the Uzumaki’s now! I believe you were speaking about a memorial portrait for your office, Lord Kazakage? Sai here is our finest artist, perhaps you could speak on the matter?” You interject, with levels of diplomacy you only gathered watching Tsunade daily.

“Indeed, I’m grateful to be here to witness a dear friend’s happy day. Sai, would you speak with me about…” Gaara speaks, wandering away with Sai beside him. An odd pair, one you knew would be busy making incredibly strange conversation for some time.

You glance at Kakashi, a wry smile on your face.

“Better?” You snicker, taking your place beside him.

“Infinitely. The second Naruto can string a sentence together without saying ‘Believe it!’ I’m giving him the hat. I hate all this talking.” He grumbles.

“Even to me?” You act offended.

He just gives you that adorable eye smile, lips quirking under his mask.

“Never to you.” He says, voice quieter, softer.

“You really do look very handsome today, Lord Sixth.” You smile, fixing the lapels of his jacket. He rolls his eyes.

“Not even half worthy of standing beside you, sweetheart. Y’look beautiful today, everyday but today - that’s something else.” He smirks.

“Oh hush you, you told me how nice I looked for 15 minutes this morning.” You huff.

“I believe I showed you how nice I thought you looked too, 3 times before we left the apartment.” He snickered, knowing the images of your tangled limbs in the bedsheets making you almost late would infiltrate your mind again, causing a flush across your cheeks.

“Kashi, gods, we were already nearly late - we can’t go sneaking off to a broom closet now and that’s how this will go if you keep talking like that.” You glance at the sky, trying to clear your mind.

You both laugh at the scene in front of you as Gai and Rock begin doing various exercises and TenTen just rolls her eyes. Everyone looks so beautiful, so happy. The aura of calm and peace surrounding everyone is a reminder of why you came back from the war with many new scars. It was worth it. Seeing these kids, who really deserved a better world - actually living it was more than any of you dreamed.

“Did you see Shikamaru and Temari hooked up?” You elbow your boyfriend.

“Finally. I thought his lazy ass would never do anything about it.” He snorted.

“Bets on it was all Temari.” You respond and he shakes your hand to seal the deal.

“Sakura got a message from Sasuke too.” He chimes in.

“Sai asked me to help pick a ring for Ino too.” You remember shopping with him, in awe of how much of a romantic this boy turned out to be.

There’s silence for a moment between you both.

“Who do you think will be next?” Kakashi asks you.

“For what?”

“To get married.”

“Temari and Shikamaru probably. Ino will want to plan a wedding properly, and I think we’re still a while off Sakura and Sasuke. Who knows, maybe Gai will find his partner in the grand spirit of youth?” You respond.

He huffs a laugh, but doesn’t reply.

“Why, was that not who you thought?” You question him.

“Nah.” He shrugs.

“Who do you think will get married next then?” You poke his cheek.

“Us.” He looks at you, unfazed.

You blink.

And blink again.

He just stares at you.

“Is that a proposal, Lord Sixth?” You think he’s joking, so you play along.

“I suppose so.” He nods.

Oh my god, he’s being serious.

“Kashi - are you - do you mean that?” You ask, breathless and grasp his hand.

“You used to say you didn’t want a fancy proposal. Just for someone to say they want to marry you. I want to marry you. The rings at home.” His smile is soft, imperceptible to anyone but you.

You turn to face him, smile bright and lash line glistening with tears.

“You busy tomorrow, Hatake?” You ask, a laugh interrupting.

“Shikamaru can take care of business, you got plans?”

“Wanna get married?”

He just smiles, and glances around to make sure nobodies watching before slipping his mask down and pressing a kiss to the corner of your lips.

“It’s a date.” His voice is wavering slightly.

“Let’s keep it quiet. It’s not our day. Hinata and Naruto leave for their honeymoon tonight.” You whisper to him.

“Tomorrow we’ll ask Gai and Kurenai to meet us at the courthouse. It can be just us four. Then I’ll take Mrs. Hatake home.” He nods, and your heart seizes at the sound of you being Mrs. Hatake within 24 hours.

“I love you, ‘Kashi.”

“I love you too, sweetheart.” He says, pressing a masked kiss to your inner wrist.

“SAKURAAAAA-CHAN! LOOK AT KAKASHI-SENSEI AND Y/N-SENSEI! THEY ARE SO CUTE!” Ino’s voice echoes.

Okay he’s shocked at first. Like he thinks it might be a joke.

But once he realizes you’re serious, he’s hesitant.

He’s not completely against it, but give him some time to think this over. He’s not sure how to feel, and admittedly, he’s a little scared.

He’s never really considered the idea of anything related to butt stuff.

He’d probably give it a try, but you gotta be gentle and slow.

Kakashi Hatake:

He straight up says no at first.

Like haha, no.

But I think it’s less the fact that it goes up his butt, and more the fact that he doesn’t want to get fucked. Like he wants to be in control.

So in order to peg him, you’d have to first get him warmed up to the idea of you being in charge.

I can totally see him liking it and like round about asking to do it again.

Rock Lee:

Easiest to convince without a doubt.

He might be a little frightened about how it’ll hurt, but he’s strong, and he knows that.

When you first suggest it, he blushes BRIGHT RED.

But he’s fairly game to try it.

He’s easier to convince because he’s mostly submissive towards you. So the next time you guys go at it, you’ve got him prepped and ass up for you.

He’s going to ask you to do this more often.

Neji Hyuga:

I have like this hc that sexually, he’s lost as hell. Like he was sheltered or something. Comes with the overly traditional mindset he’s had.

The final match of the chunin exams

In ch. 98, Neji was warming up for his match with Naruto. And in the nxt page it shows, Naruto who didn't sleep well due to the nervousness of thinking about his fight with Neji.

In the final day of the Chunin Exam Naruto had gone to the training ground. Why did he go there in the first place? Was it because he was confident that Sasuke would be the one he was going to fight? Or did he walk into that place unknowingly??. Whatever the reason, he didn't expect anyone to be in that place anyway. So, when Hinata asked him why he was there, he said that this was were he became a Genin. But when she asked the 'why' question again, he tried to avoid it.

H: 「どうして?」 = dōshite? = Why? (It is used for asking the reason)

N: 「ベ... べつに! そんなのどーだっていいじゃ ん!」 = be... betsu ni ! sonna no doudatte ii jan! = N-Nothing....! That doesn't matter/ I don't care about that!

べつに which imparts dismissive undertones when you use it with いいじゃん. He's adding 「いいじゃん」 it usually uses to make your point, express your frustration, complain or to talk back to someone. そんなの can be used in a conversation when you have no interest in what the other say.

Still nervous about his match but at the same time he was worried about Sasuke vs Gaara match so he went to 'that ' training ground. If he is not going there for training, what is his reason for visiting this place? Even if he says there is no particular reason, we all know the right reason, right?

This was where he becomes a genin. This was the place where Sasuke had offered his bento to Naruto. Sasuke has a goal and has been working hard since his young age to kill his brother, but at the time, all he cared about was feeding a hungry little fox his lunch, and ignoring all warnings that giving Naruto something to eat would disqualify him.

The same place brought Naruto (as well as Sakura) memories of Sasuke.

This is so funny lol...Kishi didn't let this slide in gaiden either... When Hinata made a bento for Naruto-Kun and all Naruto could think about is Sasuke when he gave his bento during his Bell Test.

While the others, including Neji, were at the training grounds for training, and Naruto was there to recalls about his 'The Bento' moments with Sasuke.

Shikamaru was looking for his opponent Dosu among them and Naruto wondering when Sasuke would show up.

When it was time to think about his fight with Neji, Naruto's immediate concern was about Gaara and his brute strength (seen in the hospital when Gaara tried to kill Lee)... and He was ofcourse worried about Sasuke.

His was excited hearing next match was Sasukes. He literally cannot control his emotional response when he heard about him.

He encourages him not to lose to Gaara and declares that he wants to fight him. [lol susuke's face when naruto suddenly called his name] Just like after the second exam, it was Sasuke who gave him his acknowledgement....which gave him anticipation to fight him in the chunin exams. Now it's his chance to say it out loud to him in this final round.

Naruto and Shikamaru were completely stunned by Gaara's power. Because he killed those two guys just like that....and it's terrifying to watch him walking through a pool of their blood.

But as soon as Naruto realized that Sasuke would die if the fight went on any longer...The thought of it terrifies him and he shivers all over...but he puts it aside and runs to Kakashi to stop the fight.

So Naruto was nervous about his match in the chunin finals, but he was more worried about Sasuke, which shows how much he cares about him. He's the one who yelled at the others not to give up... but when it comes to Sasuke, he can't stand it and goes to great lengths to stop the fight for Sasuke's safety.

GAALEE PARENT TRAP AU "Marry me"

"What did you just said?!" Lee screamed covering his mouth when he realiced.

"We are getting married in the five nations peace cruise next month" he says as calm as he say it the first time. "We can make the arrengements with Kakashi. Unless, you... do not want to?"

To be honest when Rock Lee said i will marry you in any place at any time even right here and right now an event so important as THE event of the year, he would even dare to said of the decade, didn't crossed his mind for a second. But it didn't stop him from feeling light headed, warm spreading in his cheeks and butterflies filling his stomach.

"Of course i want to marry you! I won't step out of my word to you" he murmurs reminding himself that they are still here, in the cementery afterhours. He's been waiting here, like the first plan was. He looked at the gray plate above the grass. Just Neji as or witness for our vows, blood instead of rings because nobody should know and a passioned night at his place, so Gaara could pack his things and make his way back to Suna. "It's just that when you told me about mantaening the secrecy of our nuptial, doing it in a place with the most important people of all five nations was not in my list"

"It's not like they are invited anyway" Gaara expressed while crossing his arms.

Lee frowned in confussion "i don't follow..."

"We'll have our own wedding in the cruise while the rest of the guests are at the party" he kept explaining "in the middle of the celebration we'll slipt away for a few moments, get married and go back to the event without anybody noticing. Everybody would be so drunk not even the council nor the rest of people there could guess what just happened" a little smirked scape from the corner of his lips, that for anybody else would look like a grimace, but for Lee wasn't.

"Hmm, i don't know. I think you'll enjoy more the fact that you're doing it just under their noses than us ACTUALLY getting married" Lee joked while taking his lovers hands to pull him closer.

"It would only be a plus to it" exhaled. While remembered the words of Temari when he told her about his plan. Of course their families where the only ones that will know, eventually, right now just Temari. You imprudent rugrat! you maybe wear the hat of the Kazekage but you are still act like a child! No. Not that. Marriage is something you enjoy in a unique special way. No, im not talking about sex! Is a promise! to both of you and your families, that you'll be by each other side for the rest of your lifes taking care of what you'll built. So...are you gonna make it right?

....Or are you gonna do the Uchiha way? He squirmed at the mere thought. Right, he's gonna make it right, Lee deserved that. I don’t know if I missed any information in previous posts about her where you have answered this, if so I’m sorry for the repeat question.

I love chiha so much! As a little sister myself I cling onto little sister characters, and I am actually appalled at the fact that more characters don’t have younger siblings in naruto. Sorry that was a lot of typing just to not get to the point😅

In a previous post you said Gaara is not her type and sasuke is a no no, so is there an example of a canon/oc character that is her type or maybe a ship you already have setup?

Also if it’s not too much to ask what are her relationships like with some of the other characters (team10, team8, etc…)

These questions are more for your new au, but I completely understand if I’m thinking too far ahead

In general, Chiha loves being the youngest to as it gets her out of trouble (no one suspects the youngest) and it’s fun to give Naruto a little sister

In this au, she’s still a menace, she’s just more small town coded

Sasuke

Chiha would definitely have a huge crush on bull rider Sasuke. He’s in a cowboy hat, keeps cats, let her feed the baby animals, never complained about her tagging along, gave her his old guitar (which yeah, she read too much into), and she’s not blind 🤣 (the main thing she doesn’t like about him in TSAU is that he is hung up on another girl and would tie her down to the city she wants to leave). They just get in stupid arguments because Chiha doesn’t know how to handle having a crush/her crush being so popular and they both have tempers.

Sakura

She ADORES Sakura so much. She helped Chiha practice to get on the cheer team, taught her how to do her makeup, and how to throw a mean punch. Sakura Graduating early and going to college meant she didn’t get to spend her teen years with her pseudo big sis, but they called and texted regularly so they are still very close.

While she likes Kisame as a person, she’s bummed that once again, Sakura is leaving her in the dust with different life stages. So she doesn’t spend too much time with the happy couple.

Shikamaru

Or Nara, as she calls him, don’t have much to do with each other. She’s convinced he’s the laziest cowboy ever and she’s not sure why him and Naruto are friends or what Temari sees in him 🤨

Choji

He is Menma’s friend and her favorite rodeo clown tbh. She’s so happy that he’s always willing to share snacks with her and always gestures for her to take a deep breath when she’s nervous in the arena. Good friend 10/10

Ino

Ino’s family was on a whole different level to the rest of their town financially and Ino was this spoiled rich girl that got to go live in a city, so she really doesn’t know her. Chiha is very sucked to see her again in this au as a regular girl

Tenten

Tenten is her other pseudo big sis that thought her how to lasso ~~she could’ve asked Naruto or Sasuke, but that was embarrassing as a kid when she said she already knew how~~ and let her borrow her moms old records to play when she was little.

Tenten and Chiha often run into each other for different town events as Chiha is a singer and Tenten does bar tending too. So they usually catch up at those functions if not at the rodeo.

Lee

He will always have a hero’s cape as her first actual dance partner (bros don’t count at parties). It was awkward as heck being a wallflower and then he came along and asked her to dance 🥹 they’ve developed a great friendship due seeing each other during Naruto’s training and even have a secret handshake

Kakashi

He’s a legendary bull rider from their town and Naruto’s mentor. She doesn’t know much about him, but he’s kinda always been around because he knows her parents?? All she knows everyone wants him and he can carry a note, so he better get his butt on stage and do these duets so she can make more money/get more attention 🤣

She also doubles as his errand girl during rodeos do to his injuries that have left him sidelined this season.

Obito

All she knows about is that before he was a rodeo clown/announcer, he was also a bull rider and that some big bad bull ended that career.

Oh and he’s loaded and his wife is too hot and cool for him, but his son is cute.

Konan

Obito’s wife that doesn’t do box seats even though she could. Anytime they’re around her hometown, she hears a lot of whispers and rumors about her, but Chiha doesn’t really care to listen to them.

Konan seems cool and she often sees her (and her kid) sitting with Kakashi and Gai.

Gai

He’s that funny guy that’s always around Kakashi and has a positive outlook on things. She likes finding new dad jokes to tell him because he always laughs like it’s the funniest thing.

Kisame

He’s cool for a cop, she guesses. The only times they interact really is when Sakura comes to see her perform

Gaara

He is not cool. She tried the clueless cute act and he gave her a ticket anyways. He’s not cool and he’s not that cute, she doesn’t care what anyone says 💀

Zabuza

Chiha is so freakin’ scared of him. His aura is intense, but he’s another poplar cowboy who unlike Sasuke and Kakashi, will actually sign things for her (she resales it).

He thinks she’s a big fan of his and she’d like to keep it that way (for the money)

Haku

This beauty. Honestly only met him because Naruto gave her, Zabuza’s number one fan, his number to pass on to Haku. They’re just getting to know each other, but they have swapped jackets, so Chiha considers him a friend ✨

Hinata

Like Ino, she never actually met Hinata. She saw her here and there when she was younger because she and Menma were close, but now she sees her every Saturday morning on her cooking show. Girls supporting girls and what not.

Seems like a sweet girl and her and her mother will try to recreate some of the dishes for fun. She teases Menma about it being his old gfs recipe and tells him he should try reaching out to her 😏

Asuma

Her old high school principal. He wrote her a letter of recommendation when she asked (that she never used) 😭

As for her type, she just likes people that are free thinking and will show her (and only her) affection~
