Royals dead and fled! The end of the most important Reverie in history! Pt 1

Feathers on metal. It’s a very uncommon sound in the world, a sound any normal person would go their whole life without hearing.

Morgan grinned. “A inside source seemed to have run into some trouble and has agreed to divulge some insider information in exchange for sanctuary.”

Jackie's eyebrows shot up. While the World Economic Journal does get to report on the Reverie, it’s never anything particularly surprising: it’s always playing paparazzi for incoming royals, changing policies she’s never heard of and swearing to crack down on the ever growing pirate population.

This year promised more, with the arrival of the Royal Family from Fishman Island with the first topside appearance of the Mermaid Princess herself and the reinstatement of the Riku family as the proper rulers of Dressrosa, there had been so much to report on that first day. But, as usual, they were “asked to leave” as “the royal families do not feel comfortable with the heavy scrutiny of the press looming over them.”

(Jackie would have argued that people in their positions that hold the power they do should have tougher skin if a little street interview has them shaking in their crowns but at the time she was too busy placing free roaming Den Den mini cameras around the area, yknow, just in case.)

A brief, almost comedic silence overtop them. Big News Morgan had quite the obvious tell when he was trying to soften whatever blow he was about to deliver to his apprentice. Be it more overtime or a last minute meeting with Germa Princes that she had no choice but to attend, he always found a way to sneak a suspiciously comforting feathered hand on her shoulder. “A man who abandoned his kingdom to flee from pirates, got lost, the kingdom both survived and got better without him, eventually returns only get quite literally kicked out does not fill me with confidence in his honesty.”

“All true but he’s really turned his life around since then! We’ve written all about his climb to success, it was a very popular issue! Plus he’s too much of a blubbering coward to lie to us. Anyway him and his companion need our help.”

“First of all, that issue was only popular at the time and forgive me I don’t want my ear drums constantly bleeding from his “Oh thank you Miss Jackie-chan, oh it’s no problem Miss Jackie-chan.” or whatever fresh hell his fiancé is going to bring-.”

Jackie stopped mid rant. She glared at the door, her hand once again hovering over the locks.

“Fine, how exactly am I getting them on board?”

“We're heading over to them as we speak. They’ve apparently snuck onto the cargo hold of some oblivious aristocrats. I’ll be “conducting an interview” while you put the Arrow Arrow fruit to good use.”

She sighed but couldn’t contain the thrum of excitement coursing through her. Despite the Wapol-ness of their most current harebrained scheme, she wasn’t the kind of person who wouldn’t follow through, especially with the potential scoop of a lifetime on the line.

DR. RATIO IS GONNA RETRACE PATAVIA’s FOOTSTEPS, AND IN DOING SO HE MIGHT ACTUALLY BE THE KEY TO SAVING AMPHOREUS!!!!

Spoilers for 3.3 + some leaks (I think) ANYWAYS IVE BEEN INSANE ABOUT THIS FOR ~A Whole YEAR~ so yeah I’m making a tumblr post on it (cause even if TikTok users have no attention span, I know some people on here can read at least lmao)

For starters- who the fuck is Patavia?? (The love of my life/hj)

Well, she’s an NPC from the Council of Mundanites (which she helped form) that was alive during the Scholars Strife- which was essentially a fight that almost destroyed the Intellgencia Guild due to his members arguing and even battling eachother over how the remaining Scepters from Rubert II’s empire should be divided up and used.

Now, if you played the Amphoreus quest, you’d know that the game revealed that Amphoreus itself is made by one of these scepters- one that somehow managed to escape detection by the rest of the universe, concealing itself in the fabric of space time.

Back to Patavia, the situation of the Scholar’s strife eventually leads to her discovery of “solitary waves” aka literal manifestations of Nous’s calculations. By following them throughout the universe, Patavia eventually finds something incredibly important- the heart of the Scepter system.

Inside is the throne which Rubert II crowned himself on, and is also the center of the “brain” of the scepter system- basically the main control panel. Anyways, under the watchful eye of Polka Kakamond (who’s presence Patavia is aware of), she gains the opportunity to use THE WHOLE SCEPTER SYSTEM AT ONCE.

…And potentially to no longer be a Mundanite, and to become a Genius (Rubert III).

However, Patavia doesn’t believe she’s worthy of it, and although I haven’t mentioned it; the Mundanite’s core philosophy is the idea that knowledge should be used to benefit and uplift everyone before being used for selfish purposes (like many scholars in the scholars strife did).

Therefore, instead of asking for something new, Patavia wants to understand Nous’s calculations that they’ve already made (which unknowingly saves her life, as Polka Kakamond tries to kill anyone who pushes the boundaries of the Circle of Knowledge in a way that denies Nous’s calculations + advances the Finality).

She can’t comprehend it, but she does manage to propose the Solitary Waves theory, which Herta solves + causes her rise as a Genius.

This supposed “failure” is something the IG is so ashamed of, they used the History Fictionologists to cover it up, as they believe it proved that the mundane can never become Geniuses, due to how Patavia couldn’t ascend to becoming one despite the full power of the Scepter

Ironically, this actually saves her life, as the sense of doubt Polka creates prevents her from killing Patavia in the end since she stays within the circle of knowledge. While doing this, Patavia also fries the system in the process (good for her).

Now this is imperative to Amphoreus, as Polka, famous Rubert killer- would probably not approve of Lygus’s actions and how he’s suspiciously Rubert-ing too close to the sun.

In fact, that might actually be the reason why Amphoreus is hidden- as Lygus knows if Polka finds him, she’ll most likely kill him.

I think Screwllum and Herta are aware of this, as Polka is a firm believer in the Butterfly Effect, as depicted in the “Kill that Butterfly” curio, where even a small action can change everything (and if it relates to Nous, Polka’s gonna stop it).

When referring to Amphoreus, Screwllum says this:

-Meaning it’s probably not long before Polka comes knocking. GET HIS ASS QUEEN. KILL THAT FRAUDDD.

TLDR for this section: Lygus is probably gonna get slimed by Polka, Amphoreus is a Scepter and Patavia is a Mundanite that found the heart of the Scepter system, and “failed” to become a Genius while attempting to understand all the knowledge in the universe for the better of everyone.

So, as you’re probably asking: What the hell does this have to do with Dr. Ratio??

And I��ll answer: a lot actually.

PART TWO MY DOCTOR IS THE BUS DRIVER.

You probably noticed the me mentioning the Mundanites a lot, and that’s for a very important reason; Dr. Ratio is currently the leader of them RIGHT NOW.

(Aventurine also calls him the “Genius” of them in the 2.1 quest too hehe)

Meaning, if anyone’s going to be retracing her steps/mirroring her arc- it’s gonna be him, especially since they also share the same philosophy. We’ve gotten the other pieces from the Unknowable Domain like the Scepters + a hint at Polka’s involvement + a mention of the solitary waves theory, so it’s only a matter of time before the last part becomes relevant, especially considering that she’s the means where we learn about a lot of these things.

However, this doesn’t exactly point to Ratio saving everyone, even if I believe he will succeed where Patavia “failed” that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s gonna be the key piece in fixing this shit.

Butttt, the 2.1 Cosmodyssey event (which I’ve been tweaking out about for over a year) suggests otherwise 👀

This is the first mention of Amphoreus ever.

And as you can probably tell- the character Sparkle is playing of the “Divine Mecha” is 1000% Lygus or whatever his “real” identity is.

He invites the Trailblazer to participate in the “show” of Amphoreus, and saying “yes” is when things get interesting.

He sends a very Ratio-coded woman to help, and if we “win” we get to destroy Amphoreus.

Therefore, freeing everyone from the simulation, and thus saving them? Also, only be improvising well and being true to ourselves does he let us succeed, which is both a very HSR and a very Ratio thing for him to do.

Now, this raises the question- how the hell does Ratio know Lygus?? Sparkle (Lygus) and Lady Greenday (Ratio) are fellow masked fools and presumably friends or at least coworkers, considering Lady Greenday agrees to help Sparkle out with this.

However, based of off everything we know about Ratio and Patavia, he’d probably want to set that motherfucker on fire the moment he steps on screen.

What happens next will only be apparent as time goes on, however I do feel confident in saying Ratio will play a significant role in helping Amphoreus break away from the simulation, even if he may seem like a villain in the process.

I have a few running ideas for what might happen.

Ratio learns of Amphoreus via Screwllum and checking in on the DU again (since we shoved a bunch of Amphoreus’s data in there) + using the power of the scepter, takes that data and finds a way to make it a real place, perhaps by asking the scepter system (like Patavia once did) something new this time- a question like “how do I fix this?” which may or may not end really bad for him depending on how you interpret the “Destruction” part of this

He’s known Lygus all along- in-fact Lygus might have made up based off the Titankin and then ejected him from Amphoreus like March was, except he remembers and is coming back to fix things. I don’t see a possibility where he is friendly with Lygus, but maybe there’s some mind control/coercion going on, who knows?

He shows up but only as a support for Screwllum and Herta, which I’m fine w but damn it would be boring (at least we might get Screwtio crumbs).

Or, a secret 4th thing which is probably what’s really gonna happen.

Some notes on Chitra 💎🍡🐅

The 14th Nakshatra. It’s ruled by Mars and is the bridge between sidereal Virgo and Libra. Being contained between 23.20 degrees Virgo and 6.40 degrees Libra.

Their symbol is a Jewel/Pearl. Some sources would say it’s symbolized as a diamond as well. Their yoni is a female tiger.

This can apply to Sun, moon, Ascendant, lagnesh or Atmakaraka in Chitra. Honorable mention ketu in Chitra.

Here are some observations I’ve made about them:

↠ They look good on camera.

↠ Usually have thick defined eyebrows.

↠ They’re one to obsess over their appearance in a very thorough way.

↠ They have round eyes that look glossy like marbles. Their face is heart shaped.

↠ At a certain point they learn people like looking at them; as many find them physically attractive. They’re not one hide away from that gaze of others, but embrace the attention that comes with being attractive.

↠ They love attention and being the center of things.

↠ They hate having body hair. Many opt to getting laser: permanent hair removal. Ironically enough a lot of them tend to be genetically very hairy.

↠ Even Chitra men hate having body hair. My Chitra guy friend used to shave his legs and I thought it way so weird for a (straight) guy to do that??.😭

Hello guyssss!!!! im back with another edition. In this one were gonna discuss the placements that may indicate that you underestimate you intelligence, or others do or others have called you stupid or mocked your intelligence or simply underestimated.

[Saturn restricts and here's the thing, 3rd house governs your early childhood and learning imo. It also governs your schools and neighbours whilst on the other hand, 9th house governs travelling and higher education alongside your higher mind and religeon and faith and mercury needless to say determines your intellect and mind. Saturn rewards but creates a harsh environment and also and it also rules discipline. This placement indicates that you may have felt that you always had to work harder than your peers to achieve the same as them. It may akso indicate that no matter what you may have always felt inadequate and average at best. It may also indicate that authority figures may have been harsher with you or may have doubted your intelligence and neglected you or they may have been more attentive towards you than other students as they may not have alot of confidence in you. Basically all of maths. I would avoid studying like it was a plague. I was also constantly compared with other students by my parents and would feel extremely insecure of other people scoring well. I also had horrible self esteem and wouldnt answer as i feared being mocked and the one time i did answer,the teacher looked at me and told me that it waas wrong snd then called me near the white board and made me solve it and i struggled too and my hands were shaking and everyone laughed at me😀like????? I don’t know if u still answer questions but I need some advice. My passion has always been writing simply because I have so many ideas and so many thoughts and I love creating stories (theoretically). Lately though I’ve hit this roadblock. I’ll never be able to write like the people I admire, because at the end of it all I feel like I’m not learning. I’ll reread my old stuff, point out and rework my mistakes, and still feel like I’m not going anywhere. I haven’t written anything for years because of this block and I feel like I’ll never improve and find the motivation to keep writing. I’ll never be like the greats with seemingly endless inspiration and talent. Ig my question is just… how do I improve? How do I finally feel satisfied with what I do? How do I love my writing again??

First off, I hear you. So many writers—especially the ones who care deeply—go through exactly this. You love storytelling in theory, but when it comes to writing, it feels like you’re stuck in a cycle of self-doubt and disappointment. That’s not a personal failing. That’s just what happens when your standards grow faster than your skills.

The mistake most writers make (and one I see repeated constantly) is thinking that learning = immediate improvement—as if you study the craft, tweak some mistakes, and suddenly level up. But writing doesn’t work like a skill tree in a video game. It’s messy, non-linear, and full of invisible growth. The work you put in today might not show results for months, or even years. And that’s frustrating as hell, but it’s also normal.

And the writers you admire? The ones who seem endlessly inspired and effortlessly talented? They aren’t immune to this feeling. The difference is, they write through it. They let themselves write badly. They embrace inefficiency. They trust that even their worst drafts are part of the process. AND (top secret info here)... frankly a lot of the big names have editors at their publishing houses that are practically doing ghostwriting work: fixing their mistakes, rewriting their stuff, or even composing sections for them so they can pump out the next bestseller in record time.

But here’s my advice: stop waiting to feel satisfied before you start writing again. You’re not going to think your way out of this. Improvement comes from doing. Let yourself write terribly, inconsistently, joyfully. Take the pressure off. And when your brain tells you it’s pointless, remind yourself: the only way to get better is to keep going.

You don’t need to be “one of the greats.” You just need to write.

Despite being a difficult situation, you're definitely coming out of it in a better place than when you entered it, so it's not a loss but rather something that brought you a lot and has run its course.

For what's your struggling with, you have a hard time trusting and being carefree, because I can sense the tension and worry over it. You want to be more at ease, more playful, but you don't feel like you can do that. There is also a part of you that is still wondering if you can actually move on from this situation, and if you re not going to lose something in the process, even though you know that what you're leaving behind cannot kept because it's dead weight. You don't know where this journey is leading you, and it's creating worries and doubts.

What will be revealed to you this Fall is about finding back this sense of hope despite the heavy situation. There are three things here.

First, you may feel like a lone soldier, lost and isolated in the face of this struggle, having to face heads on what's threatening you and hide your fears not let them consume you or appear weak. Yet it's also the realization that you're moving to the sound of your own drum, that you are free to go towards a different path, one that you chose for yourself and that could bring you much success down the line.

Secondly, you might be pushed to use what you think are dishonest tactics in order to get the most out of this situation. This is definitely a messy battle but one that you can come out of it like a winner, a bitter one but a winner nonetheless, if you play your cards correctly.

Thirdly, the realization, that all that you've been bottling up, all these heavy thoughts, these sleepless nights of anxiety, they can't continue and that yeah you might get hit in the face with them a bit, but realizing them also help you seek a solution. It's just that you've been ignoring them for too long and it reached an explosive point, which is not a bad thing but just a sign that things cannot continue the way they are. A new seed will be planted, a new journey to take on.

From the outside, it seems you currently have everything you need and seem quite stable and successful. However, I do sense some type of restlessness. Not sure 100% what’s happening fr btwn L and A, but in light of pda being known to be part of pr, maybe we can do like we always do and take a deep breath, let this latest round settle, and see what we’re working with.

In the meantime we can have a laugh at the lack of class on display. Like wtf, this is his work and bread and butter, and fake gf or fr, why would you do a THING, when he’s had such a rough year, that would cast him in a bad light?

He’s lost thousand of followers since he reappeared. Boss has lost followers since Luke’s stuff dropped. It’s pretty crazy. It spikes beyond normal levels the *moment* she appears with him.

He’s either defiantly all in with her, which I have serious doubts about, or she is the worst fake gf ever because she likely doesn’t know how to be a classy supportive gf in real life.

The GA doesn’t clock it but fans like us and social media managers and brand managers do. Thankfully, Luke’s engagement rate is high and his true fans are hardcore, but her presence can only be described as a detriment to his brand - whatever that is, even if the new brand he’s going for is rebellious bad boy. No actor, no company, drops massive amounts of media in hopes that their following will take a hit. And that’s what’s happening. The whole point of collabs is to amplify the reach of each party, to create synergies.

No wonder, whatever the hare-brained plan is, Luke’s team is scrambling and blocking. Steering the narrative in online fan spaces like tumblr, X, Reddit, and getting out ahead of the viral naysayers and trolls is sm pr 101. There are teams of people who do this. So I’d take the lukola shipping blocks with a grain of salt. With the high stakes of his first post S3 brand collab, he and his team need to land this plane perfectly to preserve his association with Boss and elicit new ones.

Appearing authentic is what makes you bond with and build a fan base, which leads to deals, which leads to money. So he can’t show up with A and have the comments be full of “we hate her and you and Nic are secretly together and your pr is showing.” They’ll block a few people to keep their preferred “authentic” narrative going if it leads to more opportunities.

Additionally, there’s been plenty of discussion indicating signs that L and A’s accounts have been aggressively monitored by sm managers over the 24hrs of each of their stories in the last few days. Think of this entire long weekend as a one big pr push for Boss, starting with the A’s Olivia Rodrigo/Ed Sheeran post, the article mentioning the “sighting” of Luke in the VIP section (likely a pr name drop approved by his team because there are no pics), then Luke posting NK in Hyde Park, Charmaine’s confirmation and tagging L and A, then Luke posts his elevator buzz cut, then the first Boss reel drops, then Boss tt, then A post Luke in her stories for the first time ever on the same day, then the next day we the the first Silverstone sighting (Luke appears to be alone), then the 2nd Boss Silverstone drop on their grid and A’s there, then Boss crops her out in their story, the Luke posts a bunch of stories and she’s not in them, Boss reposts Luke’s story, Aston Martin reposts Boss grid post with Luke, Beckham likes the Boss grid post, Boss drops a tt this morning with no A, then Boss drops another reel on IG just now with A on it with her hand, tacky tacky, on his ass. And so far Luke has not reposted the story with A in it, even tho you could argue he looks the happiest and most confident and cool (in the images that have nothing to do with A) in this reel. (Your move, Luke.)

Can you see how it’s been one big, long calculated PR push with his so-called reappearance? There’s absolutely NOTHING organic about the entire long weekend. The only reason we got the concert stuff is because Boss was coming. “Oh look, he’s just a regular, relatable guy at a concert with his gf and friends, isn’t nice to see him out and about….?” “Oh look, some random somebody just happened to take a “candid” video of him in an elevator with a new haircut (that what, just happens to match his Boss collab, that he asked to have so he could post it??)…?” “Oh look, his girlfriend posted his face for the first time ever in two years to her stories, they must finally be feeling the love…?” All this on the weekend of his VERY FIRST post-S3 collab - where there was a painful money-free, status-dwindling, year-long drought…??? NO. NOOOO. NO.

IMO, this is his style: he likes to fly under the radar in his life, and then use “shock and awe” as a technique when he makes a concussive re-entry publicly for work. And fans react accordingly because they’ve/we’ve been *calculatedly* starved. He shows up with a different look each time, always sooo fucking hot in his new iteration that we can’t breathe. That’s a calculated part of the “shock and awe” too bc being the hot guy is part of his ongoing brand now Sexiest Man Alive, Boss in January, SAGs, all the Bafta related appearances, and now Boss. And it’s like he and his team decided in the new year the best way to amplify that shock was to use A—it gets people talking if nothing else. And damned if it’s not working, right? We’re yapping, sure, in our tiny insignificant corner of the Internet. But they’ll have to decide if the precipitous follower drops are working for *them*. Again, your move, Luke (and Nic).

So with all that in mind, Bianca, keep your eye on the prize, don’t feel disillusioned, because your instincts imo are spot on. Let’s just enjoy him being hot every single time (and Nic), AND clock/be shocked/vent/threaten to leave/be annoyed/pissed off/amused by the the adjacents—and then just let it roll off our backs after a day or two. Because when we look at the view from 30,000 feet, we know exactly what we’re seeing.

I just feel like that this being the case means this blog has no place anymore.

spotting ai generated art:

hi everybody! following @metaphoricgibberish's post on how to recognise ai generated fanfics, here's how to spot ai generated drawings. there's been an enormous amount of those lately in the pedro fandom. they're mostly on instagram, but a few here on tumblr as well.

what i've been seeing a lot is ai generated "watercolour portraits". i acknowledge that for professional artists ai might be easy to recognise, but maybe for some it isn't. i'll gladly give you some examples and guide you. today's victim will be this picture of pedro:

now, for the purpose of this post, i had to ask chatgpt to create a few images. please avoid doing so if you can, every prompt put in chatgpt is like wasting a whole bottle of water, just in case you don't know.

here's what comes out when you ask "can you make a watercolour portrait out of this image?". anything you may see in this style is ai generated. let's try the same picture but with a different prompt, making it a pencil portrait:

again, anything you may see like this is ai. also, they're just weird. it looks like pedro but it's some uncanny version of him. i'm not saying my drawings look 100% like him all the time, but these are just oddly soulless, i don't know how else to explain it.

chatgpt is also able to create drawings out of nothing. i tried asking again:

now who is this. 😭 once more: it's pedro but it isn't? i simply typed in "make a pedro pascal pencil portrait", but i could ask anything. i could put in whatever i like and whatever my mind comes up with, which can easily turn dangerous if it goes into the wrong hands.

let's try with more. as an example i'm taking this image, which comes from an IG account that is now deleted after the author got called out - and that's the only reason i'm using it! do we think it's ai generated?

it is, 100%. first of all, like i said before, his features look off. another giveaway is the fact that the author of this claimed it to be an artwork done in coloured pencils. i can assure you that no coloured pencil works like that. so, even if someone is telling you what they used, how they used it, how long it took, etc. it doesn't give you the guarantee that it's not ai! in fact, it just makes it worse! you're a hypocrite! also, there's this consistent, almost cloudy pattern on the drawing that is *not* the texture of the paper, but it's ai that is trying to replicate it.

what are other easy ways to spot ai generated "drawings"? the thing is, ai usually gets confused. some lines look weird, some elements might not make sense. you just have to zoom in onto the image. i'll use one of the portraits from before + another image i found on the internet as examples:

pedro's ear looks weird. the lines around him on the background also are oddly drawn, there's no direction to them, they seem to be thrown there haphazardly. his shoulders also aren't drawn clearly, in a way only artificial intelligence does. the second picture is a promo poster taken from a comic fair. look for the details: the hand is just wrong, and the butterflies are all oddly shaped. hands and backgrounds are almost always something that ai will not process clearly, so look out for those.

if you have any doubts, there's this website that spots ai images and seems pretty reliable. i tried putting in one of the ai generated pictures i created and an actual drawing i did myself:

if you're ever in doubt that what you're seeing is ai or not, i guess you can try and put it there, or you can even ask me, i'll gladly help. i don't want to sound cocky or pretentious but hey, i did attend art school for 4 years and have been drawing by myself for much longer, so i guess spotting an actual drawing from one that isn't is the least i can do.

obviously chatgpt is not the only tool you can use, there's maaaaany of them. i tried looking around for others for the sole purpose of making you see them and understand how generative ai works, but some of those apps are behind a paywall - which honestly is absurd. you're *paying* to fool people, basically.

and that's what bothers me the most. beyond the environmental issues, the ethical issues and whatnot - the lying. you want to use ai? okay, fine, but you're not even able to admit it, because you perfectly know that what you're doing is wrong. what i've been seeing from people that use ai, especially in this fandom, is that they're trying everything to prove how they're not using it. more often than not, they're just shooting themselves in the foot. remember, showing process does not guarantee something is not ai, actually every time i see someone posting it, there's always something that gives them away. pasting an image onto a sketchbook does not guarantee it is not ai. an author showing themselves drawing does not guarantee it is not ai.

i think that the reason ai "art" is running so rampant in this fandom is because pedro is a great fan of fanarts - he reposts them continuously. of course everyone would like to get noticed - i'd die if it happened to me.

but to rely on them so blatantly, and even lie... how disgusting and disrespectful to all those who are actually putting in the work. it's hours upon hours of our time, years of practice on our backs. and to claim "this took me 12 hours!" when no, it took you seconds because you just tippy tapped your fingers on your keyboard and waited for whatever app you used to spit the image out - shut up, just shut up. you're just so afraid of trying and failing (when it's just what learning is), that you'd rather settle for this ugly excuse instead. i swear, there's nothing i despise more, and i'm so incredibly close to calling people out for it because it's getting ridiculous.

Tomura Shigaraki hated detours. He hated wasted time, especially after the disaster that today had been. The heroes had interfered with their plans again, and his irritation bubbled under the surface as he trudged through the ruins of a crumbled neighborhood. The cold night air bit at his skin, making him pull his hoodie tighter over his head.

It wasn’t the first time he’d walked through the wreckage left behind by so-called heroes, and he doubted it would be the last. Still, something about this place felt… different.

He stopped abruptly when a soft sound caught his attention—a hiccup, maybe, or a sniffle. His crimson eyes narrowed as he scanned the rubble.

Nestled between two large pieces of collapsed concrete was a small figure. A child.

The girl couldn’t have been more than five years old. Her tiny frame was engulfed in an oversized, torn sweater that hung limply off her shoulders. Her face was smudged with dirt, and her big, tear-filled eyes peeked out from beneath a curtain of messy hair. She clutched a stuffed rabbit to her chest, its fur matted and one ear missing.

Tomura frowned, his fingers twitching at his sides. “What are you doing here, kid?” he asked, his voice harsher than he intended.

Tomura followed her gaze, his sharp eyes taking in the charred remains of what was once a home. The building had collapsed completely, leaving nothing but rubble and ash. He didn’t need to ask what had happened—heroes had probably been too late, as they so often were.

“What happened?” he asked, crouching down to her level despite himself.

She hesitated, her small hands gripping the rabbit tightly. “Mama and Papa… they didn’t get out,” she whispered, her voice cracking. “The big man said the heroes would save us, but… they didn’t.”

Her words cut deeper than Tomura expected. He stared at her, trying to ignore the strange, uncomfortable feeling creeping into his chest.

“What’s your name?” he asked after a moment.

“Lila,” she said softly. “Who are you?”

“Tomura Shigaraki.”

Her little brow furrowed in confusion. “Are you a hero?”

The question made him bark out a bitter laugh. “Not even close.”

She tilted her head, studying him carefully. “But… you’re not yelling at me. And you’re not leaving.”

Tomura stared at her, unsure how to respond. He should leave. She wasn’t his problem. And yet… he couldn’t bring himself to turn away.

“Do you have a Quirk?” he asked, changing the subject.

Lila blinked, confused. “I dunno. Mama said I didn’t have one yet.”

His frown deepened. Something about her was… off. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it.

“Come on,” he said abruptly, standing up.

“Where?” she asked, her voice small and hesitant.

“With me,” he said. “Unless you want to stay here and wait for the bad people to find you.”

Her eyes widened, and for a moment, she looked like she might cry again. But instead, she scrambled to her feet, clutching her rabbit tightly. “Okay,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

She reached for his hand, her tiny fingers curling around his. Tomura stiffened, his instinct to pull away overridden by the realization that his Decay hadn’t activated. He glanced down at her, his mind racing.

When they arrived at the League’s hideout, Lila was practically glued to Tomura’s side. Her small hand refused to let go of his, and she trailed after him like a shadow, her wide eyes darting around nervously.

“What the hell, Shigaraki?” Dabi drawled, raising an eyebrow as he leaned against the wall. “Didn’t know we were running a daycare now.”

“She’s staying,” Tomura said curtly, not bothering to explain.

Toga’s eyes lit up as she bounded over to Lila with a wide grin. “Oh my gosh, she’s adorable!” she squealed. “Can I keep her?”

“No,” Tomura snapped, pulling Lila closer.

The girl buried her face in his leg, clutching his pant leg tightly.

Spinner frowned. “And why exactly are we babysitting?”

Tomura shot him a glare. “Because I said so.”

Lila peeked out from behind Tomura, her voice muffled as she whispered, “Is this your house?”

Toga giggled. “Something like that, sweetie.”

“Do you have food?” Lila asked, her stomach growling audibly.

Tomura sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Spinner, get her something to eat.”

Over the next few days, Lila clung to Tomura like a lifeline. She followed him everywhere, her small hand always reaching for his whenever he moved. If he sat down, she was immediately in his lap, her rabbit nestled between them.

At first, it annoyed him. He wasn’t used to having someone so close all the time. But gradually, he found himself… tolerating her.

“Why do you scratch your neck all the time?” she asked one day, looking up at him with curious eyes.

Tomura froze mid-scratch, glaring at her. “None of your business.”

She tilted her head, unfazed by his sharp tone. “Does it hurt?”

He blinked, caught off guard. “No,” he muttered.

“Good,” she said simply, leaning her head against his arm.

One evening, as she sat in his lap drawing on a scrap of paper, Lila looked up at him with a serious expression.

“Why didn’t the heroes save Mama and Papa?” she asked softly.

Tomura’s chest tightened. He didn’t have an answer—at least, not one she would understand.

“They’re not as good as they want you to think,” he said finally.

She nodded, as if that made perfect sense. “I don’t like them,” she said. “They’re liars.”

For the first time in years, Tomura felt a strange, unfamiliar warmth in his chest.

“Don’t worry, kid,” he said, his voice low but firm. “They won't be there for long, i'll make sure of that.”

Lila smiled, reaching up to pat his face with her tiny hand. "Thank you. You’re a bit scary, but you’re not bad.”

Tomura stared at her, the weight of her words settling over him. She didn’t know it yet, but she was far more dangerous than he could ever be. And he would make sure no one took advantage of that.

hey guys!! just want to clear some stuff up when it comes to being aspec :)

recently we’ve been seeing some veeeeerrryyyyy incorrect takes, such as the following screenshot (no i didn’t blur the name, think of this as a blocklist for you)

as an arospec ace collective, we feel like we’re in a pretty good position to address this. this also isn’t the only person we’ve seen say stuff like this, but we don’t feel like hunting down other harmful takes :)

firstly, if we’re being loud it’s because we aren’t being heard.

[this is literally just how activism works, but go off ig?? -💖🐘]

secondly, who are you to comment on our struggles? we’re white, and as such we don’t pretend to understand the discrimination and struggles that poc face. we know that we have very different experiences and aren’t in a position to say what is and isn’t a struggle for them.

as for these struggles, parents maybe wanting grandkids is nothing. we are excluded from queer spaces for being too straight and not queer enough. we’re discriminated against by allo cishet people because we’re too gay and weird and immoral. when we create our own spaces we are told that we don’t deserve them. our only community is each other, and even then it’s filled with infighting because we’re all being told that we don’t belong anywhere.

we are told that we are fucked in the head, belong in a psych ward, are just trying to get attention, shouldn’t be allowed around people, are sociopaths/psychopaths (which is also ableist), are just naive/immature/ugly, just need an excuse for not getting laid, and are predators. these are literally all things that we (this collective) have been called personally.

we can’t talk about it in therapy or to doctors because now that’s the problem that needs to be fixed and we need to unpack the trauma that caused it. they are literally trying to tell us that our orientation is not real and is actually a problem or disorder that needs to be solved and changed. that is literal fucking conversion therapy

and we sincerely doubt that many aspec people would struggle with dealing with even worse aphobes because we do anyways. daily. from our family, our community, our healthcare, coworkers, classmates, and just about everyone else we interact with.

Notes: Happy Halloween! I wanted to do more but I've been so busy with midterms, work and personal stuff that I never got around to it! Here is my half assed Redacted headcanon because—I can. Side note if someone can clarify, is redacted they/them exclusive or bother he/him, they/them, my ass is confused. Obsessed either way though, none the less lol…mk—Happy Halloween!!! ψ(｀∇´)ψ

❥ Redacted likes Halloween. Obviously, they would only want to celebrate Halloween if it makes angel happy. However, considering Redacted is a huge horror fan, they would probably pick Halloween over the other holidays.

❥ Redacted enjoys when you feel safe and happy so, when you said you wanted to go to a haunted house, it wasn’t exactly exciting news.

❥ The idea of you being in fear was something they dreaded but…on the other hand…you clinging onto them for dear life was just a tiny…tiny bit tempting—but the cost of scaring you didn’t compete with the temptation of being depended on. Ultimately they agreed to take you, but they had to gather every ounce of strength in them to ensure they didn’t clobber every actor jumping out in front of you.

❥ Unknowingly angel did the staff an act of kindness when convincing Redacted not to take their ‘new’ sledgehammer to ‘cosplay’ as a serial killer whilst out and about.

❥ Redacted has a special cell in hell for the few propionate actors that popped out and made angel scream bloody murder—And don’t think for one minute he doesn’t have a grudge against every single person who works at the haunted house—even though it was your idea to go in the first place. Simply put, he’s not nearly as forgiving as angel.

❥ At some point in the spooky season, Redacted would absolutely take you to your favorite candy shop, if you like sweets, because—who doesn’t love treating their inner child to some candies! They’d make sure that the store would have all the candies you’d both would share as kids. Redacted would also make sure sure to buy a bunch to take home and devour while you turn off the lights and pretend you aren’t home when the trick-or-treaters come by. Yk because that’s what all adults do on Halloween—be fr with me rn. Unless your Teo ig…I have no doubt homeboy is terrorizing children and flirting with women wearing suggestive outfits, on their way to parties.

❥ Around the spooky season, Redacted loves to watch you watching classics like Slasher films or Halloween but, he’ll only put them on if you want to watch them. He enjoys setting out nostalgic snacks from your childhoods and cuddling up in a blanket with you.

❥ Redacted may pull off the goth aesthetic, however Redacted would create a movie night straight outta a Pinterest board if they knew it would make angel happy. They’d honestly do anything to make you smile and enjoy your time together.

❥ When you suggested pumpkin carving, you never expected them to create such detailed monstrosities. Their pumpkin looked professional, they would absolutely win any contest, hands down; ya boy put Dr.Frankenstein to shame. And watching them carve the guts out was another thing, bro would literally butcher the pumpkin like they were creating an audition tape for a slasher film; they were completely unphased by the nasty smell and the pumpkin pulp everywhere.

❥ Being an artist they’d made their pumpkins look really cool—like one was a hockey mask and the other was a cute doodle like portrait of you as an Angel which he loved your sweet reaction to. The only down side was you didn’t really have anywhere to put them but luckily the you and the fellow library staff were told you could bring some by to add a bit of fun to the building around the spooky season.

❥ If you like pumpkin seeds, he’d make them with you after you set out your pumpkins. The more fun activities to do with you the better—even if they watched twenty different videos on baking the seeds the night before and is stressed about making sure everything is perfect.

❥ If you bake your friends anything, Redacted will get hella Jealous. They want to say something but they don’t wanna ruin your fun ideas—well they really just want you to save your fun ideas for them. Besides you look so cute in the apron they bought you. They end up switching your sugar with the salt, and making the desserts into a literal salt licks in hopes you give up and go to them for comfort. And that maybe if you serve your dessert to other people they will fall off the face of the earth.

❥On that note…He would 100% scare the living shit out of Leon, Teo, Jay, Violet, anyone honestly if you weren't around or you thought it was funny.

❥ You’re gonna dress up?…Hell yeah. Redacted loves this idea. They’d shamelessly sends you all sorts of costumes you can’t wear out. They won’t waste the opportunity to make this holiday into an excuse to seduce angel.

@ficsinhistory I started to reply to you and then it got way too long, so I hope it’s okay if I do it this way instead! Sonic has reservations about revealing himself as an alien. But I definitely think Tom’s (initially kind of hidden or downplayed around others ig) silly, eccentric side appeals to Sonic, among other things.

Before they meet, Sonic gets to see Tom’s most authentic self — who Tom is when no one else is watching (that Tom knows of). And what Sonic sees is someone who’s not always cool, sarcastic, and witty but goofy and… weird? Loony? Embarrassing? Like I said, there’s talking to donuts, and then there’s creating characters out of them, crafting little arms and legs, and playing pretend with them lmao Tom has a donut buddy named Sergeant Sprinkles, and he eats the other donuts “when they get out of line.” (Think about how regularly this must occur for Sonic to define Tom by this, comparable to Maddie doing routine yoga on the back porch… 💀)

We see Tom acting like a goober when he (thinks he) is alone in other ways too, like pretending he’s catching speeding cars with his radar gun before accidentally hitting himself in the face or joking around with the turtle crossing the road or just loudly proclaiming, “I’M BORED,” to no one. This is how the movie introduces us to him. Our first impression of Tom is a Tom that thinks he is alone, a Tom that only Sonic sees: A goofy, restless guy that’s bored with his job, that wants something exciting to happen.

I’ve no doubt that Sonic seeing that side of Tom makes Tom feel approachable and safe. Sonic admires Tom because Tom looks out for the town. He’s strong, brave, and compassionate, heroic, “defender of creatures big and small.” But Sonic wants to be Tom’s friend because Tom’s funny and weird and cool (and they both like action movies!) I think — much the way Sonic calls Maddie “Pretzel Lady” because they do yoga together and she’s flexible — the same is true for Tom being the goofy and weird “Donut Lord.” These are things that Sonic both finds funny about them and likes about them, and it’s how he connects with them.

Tom and Sonic share the same values and they have similar personalities. Sonic can certainly relate to a guy that goofs off, makes bad jokes, and talks to himself when he’s bored lmao (and in the novelization, I heard Tom acknowledges that Sonic reminds him of himself when he was a kid). In the following movies, those similarities become more pronounced imo, as Sonic matures and as Tom leans more into his inner cartoon. Which is another thing I love. Sonic awakens Tom’s paternal instincts, but he also pulls Tom’s existing silly, eccentric “Donut Lord” side out.

Tom goes from being embarrassed and irritated to embracing the nickname and his connection to Sonic. He’s still a little embarrassed at the end of the first movie, as he refuses to elaborate when Maddie questions why Sonic calls him “Donut Lord.” But fast-forward two movies and Tom’s knitted a goofy sweater with the title spelled proudly across the front. He’s graduated from Sergeant Sprinkles to Little Tom, a weird puppet he teases his family with. That silly, eccentric side of him is not so hidden or downplayed anymore, and he’s never seemed happier :) But anyway.

This is all a long-winded way of saying I agree with you! lol I think Sonic relating to Tom is the biggest reason Sonic grows emotionally attached to him over all the other people in Green Hills. Basically like ‘that guy’s so funny and weird. He’s just like me fr’
