Been seeing a lot of things pushing me in the direction of finally trying my hand at game development, something I've considered so many times, but maybe now I'll finally take a real step down that path...

I have this idea, dancing around my mind without end from the moment some wonderful music got the gears spinning, of a story to tell. Something small, about the strength you build when there's nothing else left. About losing hold of everything that drives you and still finding a way to carry on through the dark.

I've got enough to go off of. Certainly know how to write, and I've got enough practice with pixel animation on the side that I think I can pull off what I'd like to do. The rest I gotta trust I can learn along the way.

Maybe I can make this real. Fulfill a certain dream from my childhood, and along the way take the core of what I want to communicate as a writer, the light of hope in the impossible dark, and distill it into something beautiful.

Might be nice if this wasn't happening mid-NaNoWriMo but inspiration is a fickle bitch who cannot bear the thought of being convenient.

T-Minus 3 days

Have you ever had an idea that you thought was great, talking about it in the voice that you think yours sounds like, only to realize it probably wasn’t a good idea in the first place? Welcome to my newly founded blog. I can’t make any promises about what this little piece of.. [insert something here] will be. Sad? Probably. Funny? Most likely. Stupid? You betcha. Annoying? You have no idea. Now that I think of it I should have ran this by a friend or something. Get their opinion. But what is life without a little impulse? I can’t guarantee this is going to be a daily thing, a weekly thing, or a monthly thing. Who am I kidding, a whole month without typing something? Settle down there Nat.

You’re probably thinking “Who is this Nat person?” or “Oh my lawd, she used her first name.” That Nat person is me. Hang on, she’s bound to get crazy at some point in this adventure. To answer the second question, my name is Natasha. Told you this adventure was about to get crazy. I’m 22 years old and about to start college for the 2nd 3rd time. But who needs all the details right? I’m going to make you feel awkward and do it anyways! I’m from a small town in Northwestern Ontario, Canada, North America, Planet Earth, Milky Way. I have 2 half brothers, a sister-in-law, 6 step-siblings, a cat, and a partridge in a pear tree. I’m kidding about the partridge part.. Maybe. 

Now this is where the fun part begins.. or so people have told me. In a couple days, I’m leaving for college. I’ve never really done something like this before but it seems fun. I have all this built up [flails as words fail] stuff that maybe could be entertaining to other people. Let’s side track for a moment. Every time you read the word ‘maybe’ you take a drink of something. Scratch that, we don’t need anyone having alcohol poisoning or going to the bathroom 5 times before finishing this post. ANYWAYS. My plan is is that I hope there might be a post that helps you in a way. If you need a laugh? I’m here. Need someone to talk to at 3 am? I’m here. Use me anyway you like. That came out wrong. Let me help you in anyway that I can. In a way, I’ll be using you guys too. No one with this much sarcasm and whatever else you want to call it, should keep that whatever built up. (Oh look, Nat tried to make a funny). Long story short, I hope we can take this adventure together.

After talking with Aegeus, I find out many things.

Athens was defeated in a war with Crete, and was forced by King Minos to pay a terrible tribute. He demanded that each year, 7 beautiful women and 7 of the strongest men of Athens were to be taken into the Labyrinth and offered as a sacrifice to the Minotaur; a terrible half men and half bull monster. 

And of course, me being the person that I am, I offered to go as one of the 7 young men to take my chances with this monster. 

I left Aegeus for Crete and he prayed that the gods will protect me from harm’s way. I know I promised him something important...... something about the white sails.

Trying to draw another picture of Connor. This sketch took me about 15 to 20 minutes to make last night. Hopefully I can make the eyes just right this time and it'll actually look like Connor. You know what? For some reason, this unfinished picture of him makes me think of the backstreet boys for some reason.. What if I just played some backstreet boys while drawing him? That probably mess me up, wouldn't it? He'd be like backstreet Cyberlife. FACEBOOK | Oct. 27 • So there it is friends, after 7 years, 1 month and 20 days, I’ve re-activated my Facebook account. • 7+ years ago I decided to deactivate my account because I began to spend too much time on Facebook. During that time, people began to Facebook message me (If that’s what it’s called), but I wasn’t replying promptly. So I ditched Facebook. • I’ve finally decided to re-activate my account simply due to an invite to an event. That said, in the beginning of 2017, I did decide I would go back on Facebook. So I guess today is the day. • I know the decision I made was a good one for me; however, after re-activating, I realized the empty gap between September 2010 and October 2017. Sad. • Anywho...
