Bruce gets a call about Dick’s official adoption being contested by a previously unknown grandfather. Dick says he’s never heard of the man before and tells Bruce he thought this was looked into years ago. Bruce confirms that it was but tells dick it’s notoriously difficult to keep track of “ his people.” Dick asks Bruce what he means by that but calms down at Barbra’s interruption.

Bruce then connects Dick being upset to “hot blooded tempers” and tells him to go meet the man. Dick refuses and Bruce has Barbra “talk some sense” into dick who says no one can take dick away from Bruce. Dick apologizes for overreacting and Bruce says he appreciates it.
