🎉🚲 THE POPSICLE BIKE IS HERE 🚲🎉
and its featuring all sorts of fun, fruity flavors! freshly picked from the food forests, blended and frozen into a familiar shape, then paired with a fancy floral cone. and all for free? F-YEAH
all the vendor asks for in return is to leave a nice message in the tags for him (or for his pet plant Pothony). so go ahead, choose your favourite!
————————————————
loooong exposition ahead, bear with me ok
when i was a primary school kid (like 7), there was a row of bushes lining the garden outside our classroom. and on them were clusters and clusters of tiny red flowers, bunched together like pre-made bouquets. they're called ixora, locally known as jejarum (needle).
somehow, mini me discovered that if you look real close at the center of each flower, you'll find a little tab in the shape of a sprout (that's the stigma). and if you gently tug on that tab, you'll pull out a flimsy, needle-like stick (that's the style). and at the end of that stick...... was a dollop of liquid gold (it's nectar).
at that age? it felt like hitting the jackpot! my friends and i we were SET. gluttony Gripped us as we descended upon those poor little flowers, sucking up every drop of nectar we could find, leaving a trail of bright red petals in our wake. yet it was never enough. of course it wasn't.
yeah i'm exaggerating but it really did feel like i committed a massacre ok 😭 i don't know that child anymore i've grown!! left their insatiable little shell behind!!!
anyway turns out that secret childhood hack wasn't much of a secret after all. my mum confessed to doing the exact same thing decades ago when she was younger, and a quick internet search shows that apparently its a pretty common bad habit/funny memory shared among people here. rite of passage. doesn't lessen my guilt though!
so here i am, exposing my baby crimes to the world, and holding myself accountable by making ixora-inspired concept art lol. sorry to these cultural icons my bad queens
————————————————
speaking of school, here's another nostalgic memory: the ice cream uncle.
this wasn't just a singular guy, but rather a League of Guys, with one common goal: make a quick buck from oblivious kids who, once again, were enthralled by the power of gluttony's grasp, and would pay anything for a taste of the nectarous after-school treat.
no guilt here though, was worth every cent.
they always had a diverse selection of goods: ice cream in cones, ice cream in cups, classic ice pops on a stick... but once in a while, we get what is essentially the local version of freezer pops. we call them 'ais krim malaysia', and under the burning sun they were a MESS to deal with. if you weren't devouring your icicle within 5 minutes of purchase, you'd be going home with a sticky bag of juice and a stained school uniform. and yet, i've never seen a kid walk away from an ice cream uncle without a smile on their face.
nowadays, ice cream uncles are an endangered species. big name brands and their store empires are chasing local vendors out of their niche. not to mention the hardships they face under increasingly abnormal weather patterns. plus, even if they did make a comeback, there's the issue of all that plastic waste. which brings me to...
————————————————
this concept art i made! (yeah we're finally getting to it!)
once again, i'm partnering 2 very loosely related pieces of my cultural backstory, with a sustainable twist. in my ideal solarpunk city, we're bringing street-side popsicles back into style, and packaging them in biodegradable membranes. in fact, our local favourite seaweed gelatin — agar-agar (the name originated here!) — is already being used for this sort of technology.
the pops also come with a reusable cone in the shape of an ixora flower. this way, we can still keep the tradition of getting a sugar rush from within its petals, without. y'know. stealing the primary food source away from native bugs who depend on it 💀
the umbrella could serve a function too... maybe the buds that make up the ends of its wire frame could glow in the dark? that'd look cool. oh and i did draw a classic motorbike here for the nostalgia factor, but let's pretend its an old model that got modded to run on renewable energy instead!
in terms of fashion... i highlighted parts of the outfits that are ixora inspired, including the shirt and bandana made from batik, a dyeing technique invented in our region. some other solarpunk aspects include a photovoltaic wide-brimmed hat, a layered frankenstein dress, and that... apron-skort thing that i made up on the spot. and that weird shirt. people in this city just like chopping up and swapping fabrics i guess!
so do u guys like pothony c:
#🌿#guess who spent a disproportionate amount of time on what was supposed to be a simple sketch agaaaiiin!!!#art#solarpunk#solarpunk aesthetic week#artists on tumblr#concept art#malaysia#polls#roobiedoodle#roobieramble#2 drawings in a week??? call me barry allen 🏃♂️💨💨💨#jk dhsshjkh MAN am i tired#but its nice just. unpacking my life experiences and learning from them again. rediscovery!#for someone who doesnt know how to draw anything non-human i'm suddenly cooking up a lot of vehicle concepts#and by cooking up i mean im being plagued by visions of them. yes theres more we'll see if i can get to them in time hh

I find it funny and sad how Tumblr users are SO CONDITIONED to English language as default they will just NOT interact with posts in other languages whatsoever, no matter how cool the thing is - not even a like and reblog without adding comments or tags to it
Small rant ahead with something that happened this week AND I SHOULD POST IT IN MY OWN LANGUAGE TO PROVE A POINT but I won't and it'll still prove a point.
I have a Paw Patrol sideblog. It's a very active blog where I post, reblog, receive lots of asks constantly, I post my art there, etc. I got more active followers there than here on my personal blog and that's saying something (my personal has over 10x more followers than the Paw Patrol one AND STILL that one is more active lmao). People are always liking the posts/reblogs, always adding a comment, always reblogging with comments and/or nice/funny tags, sending asks. Literally it's very active.
Last week I reblogged there a post I found, it was a video of a mom and her daughter playing together with Paw Patrol toys and a handcrafted Lookout Tower made out of cardboard. THAT TOWER LOOKS SO COOL. It's amazing and the mom made it herself for her daughter and they were playing together so happily. Naturally this reblog should get a lot of likes and some reblogs, right?
It didn't get any. It's the only reblog so far there that didn't get a single bit of interaction.
Do you know why?
The mom and daughter are Brazilians. They speak Brazilian Portuguese. The text in the post is in Brazilian Portuguese. I added a long comment myself ALSO in Brazilian Portuguese (it is my first language as I'm Brazilian too) saying how cool it was, joking about the prices of official Lookout Tower toys (absurdly expensive around here) and that I've been planning myself to also build the Lookout Tower and the Paw Patroller with cardboard as well but I'm still in the first sketching stages, but seeing her project really inspired me to go ahead and continue working on my own.
I even followed her blog and she followed me back too. She posts a bunch of cool stuff and toys and games she creates with her kids, it's really AWESOME. I could spend HOURS looking at their posts.
But as she posted in Brazilian Portuguese and I commented also in Brazilian Portuguese and added tags ALSO in Brazilian Portuguese, it looks like NO ONE BATTED AN EYE AT IT.
What, are y'all afraid of using GOOGLE TRANSLATE???? How the fuck do you think I learned English ON MY OWN to interact with people on the internet in the first place when I was like 13, 14 years old??? I didn't even have English teachers at school and high school, I legit learned on my own because the world wasn't interested in trying to communicate with me, I was the one who had to adapt to communicate with it all.
Also I'd just like to say I love Tumblr community but y'all are SERIOUSLY LOSING INTERACTION POINTS to fucking DEVIANTART LMFAOOOOOO AT LEAST THERE PEOPLE KEEP MAKING AN EFFORT TO TRANSLATE MY OLD POSTS IN PORTUGUESE EVEN NOWADAYS XDDDD
You don't even need to learn another language like I did! YOU HAVE ONLINE TRANSLATORS. Back in my time, Google Translate was ABSURDLY AWFUL when translating anything to Brazilian Portuguese and vice-versa (it still is, but way less awful now over the years it took to better itself about it).
I USED TO TRANSLATE STUFF LITERALLY MANUALLY USING A DICTIONARY. You have the instant translation technology, FUCKING USE IT, YOU COWARDS

Hopepunk Primer pt. 3
How to practice Hopepunk
Find joy in the small things. The flowers growing through concrete, the way the sunlight hits the grass. There is beauty and joy in the small things, but it takes a bit of training to find them. Mindfulness or a gratitude journal (or even a Tumblr sideblog) helps with this training. Hope can be learned, I promise.
Be a pebble. [8] Imagine a tall glass that is half-full with water. Imagine you are a crow. You try to drink the water but you can't reach, the glass is too deep. So you take a pebble and throw it in. The water level rises slightly. Other crows come in with pebbles, and with each pebble the water level rises until finally you all can drink from the glass. There is a lot of focus nowadays in activism circles to be aware of every horrible thing that is going on in the world and to work on each and every one of them. The tough reality is: we can't. We're only human and right now we are all very prone to burn-out. We can't bring change if we are burnt out or have compassion fatigue. So be a pebble. Stay small, perhaps even stay local. If everyone focuses on one thing and focuses their efforts and energy there, we will make it. We'll make the water rise so everyone can drink. Be a pebble.
Stop doom scrolling. It's ineffective and only serves to make us feel more hopeless and demoralized.
Be responsible for your own internet experience. This is related to doom scrolling. Unfollow people who make you feel hopeless and like the fight is useless. Block trolls and don't engage them. Find people who make you feel inspired, invigorated, hopeful. Blacklist tags, block, delete.
Look into hopepunk media. Be inspired by the stories told. Some examples are movires: Lord of the Rings, Mad Max: Fury Road, Pacific Rim. Series: Sense8, the Good Place, Star Trek. Books: Binti by Nnedi Okorafor, A conspiracy of truths by Alexandra Rowland, the Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin. Music: Torches by X Ambassadors, This Yeah by the Mountain Goats, Be More Kind by Frank Turner.
Build/Find your Community. Share what you have, ask for what you need. We're in this together. If you grow your own fruits and vegetables share them with friends and neighbours. Exchange favours like doing a grocery run or offering to watch the kids for a night. Make a tiny library or give & take cabinet. Share skills and resources. This can be done both online and in person, but making a difference locally is easier with boots on the ground, so to speak.
Create. Live authentically. Do things just to do the thing. So much needs to be "content", these days. So much needs to be a "side hustle" or "monetized". Resist. Create because it makes you feel good. Because you want to. Create bad art, sing off key, swing your arms wildly and call it dancing, write edgy poetry, create Mary Sue self-inserts. Live.
Resist capitalism. Reuse, recycle, repair, thrift, make, trade, etc.
Vote. If you really want to make a difference get out there and vote. Especially in the US they do not want you so rebel and vote. Not just for the president. Voting locally for your representatives will have more of an influence.
Unionize. Alone you beg, together you negotiate. Only together can we make change
Spread hope. Do random acts of kindness, compliment people, share positive things that happened, spread love and joy where you go.
[8] Be a pebble

15 Questions
I was tagged by my internet daughter @lady-of-imladris and now I feel like my answers need to be chaotic enough for her approval.
1. Are you named after anyone?
No, my parents wanted the name to sound nice by itself, and in combination with my patronymic (Slavic things).
2. When was the last time you cried?
I tear up incredibly easily, so that can't count! But, the most recent real cry was probably about a month ago due to a combination of PMS and life.
3. Do you have kids?
Nay, though I'd like to!
4. What sports do you/have you played?
Used to play tennis competitively, and now do it leisurely. I love running (and I'm so happy that @lady-of-imladris is getting back into it!), swimming, badminton, beach volleyball. I enjoy bouldering, and probably other sports that I'm currently forgetting.
5. Do you use sarcasm?
Less so now than when I was younger. In my twenties, I was a sarcastic little gal. Nowadays, I prefer directly shading people when I need to.
6. What is the first thing you notice about people?
Eyes, smile, vibes!
7. What's your eye color?
Green.
8. Do you prefer scary or happy endings for movies?
AHHhhhhhh I shall not choose. Both are good, depending on the story being told and what kind of ending feels more deserved.
9. Any talents?
Not to brag, but I am good at picking mushrooms in the forest and knowing which ones are tasty, which ones will make you see the universe, and which ones will return you to being one with the universe.
Also, in no particular order: writing, splits, memorizing phone numbers, pretty hand-writing, math - I guess.
10. Where were you born?
USSR
11. What are your hobbies?
Writing, reading, running, hiking, going to galleries and museums, music, making art with dried flowers, spending time with my animals, looking at the moon and the stars through my telescope! Also, antiquing, furniture assembly and other handy things. Oh, and dressing up for Ren Faires.
12. Do you have any pets?
Two cats and a dog!
13. How tall are you?
167 - 168
14. Favorite school subject?
Wow, thanks for pointing out that I am ancient, because I'm sitting here and wondering "what level of education is this quiz referring to?" So I'm listing everything! Primary school - I loved pretty much every subject. High school - physics, math, drama, French. Undergrad - operations research, databases (?), history and philosophy of science. Masters - ugh.... Integer programming. PhD - Linear programming, convex optimization.
15. Dream occupation?
While I found @lady-of-imladris' "I don't dream of labour" lovely and oftentimes relatable, it actually gave me a pause. I don't dream of labour in a sense that I definitely do not adore toiling for some corporations to get richer, but I do consistently try and be occupied with things that I like and I have been fortunate to be able to do so!
Anyhow! My dream occupations have been writing, doing science, and doing "business", when I was little - and I'm happy to report that I have tried variations of all of these things, with various levels of success and satisfaction.
I am YET to have a career as "Indiana Jones" or "James Bond" - but perhaps, one day!

Another Get to Know Me
thanks @sleepy-night-child for the tag!
a band that you don't like that many others do:
I'm pretty amicable for music. it'd take a song I really hate for me to not like a band. on the other hand, I will like any song that will get me to sing along with it
least favourite animal and why:
bees. when I was a kid, someone told me to not move around bees so that they wouldn't bother you. outside during recess, I froze still cause a couple of bees landed on my shoulders/neck. the bell rang for us to go inside and I had to make a mad dash for the doors despite the fear I'd get stung. hindsight and common sense now tell me bees are generally harmless and wasps are the enemy, but I'm traumatized now and treat them the same
hot fandom take:
head empty, I don't really have any takes, especially ones that aren't already out there. also not really in fandom land, I'm just on my own island.
do you wear any jewellery, if so, what's your favourite piece:
not super devout, but I've got this necklace from elementary school that's a cross with a dove on it that I still wear. otherwise, the owl ring I got a couple years back that I wear as a necklace is the one
a movie others liked but you didn't:
honestly I watch so many movies with my friends nowadays and a lot of them are really bad lmao. I think a recent movie we watched was The Killer and I didn't like it, but it's rated highly for who-knows-why. like it's not even a comedic mess-up, the assassin was just bad at his job and it's not entertaining
three things you love about yourself:
I'm a relatively positive person, or more like I don't have that much hate in my soul. will try to be the best supportive friend you've ever had. and I've got a lot of creative outlets to use!
a place you hope to visit in the future and why:
Japan! I wanna see so many gamer things there. plus the tourist-y landmarks/activities. life-sized gundam is also on the list, if that's still around. and the food! (that I've been seeing because I follow this one guy on YouTube)
an actor that gets on your nerves and why:
the first name that came to mind was Dwayne Johnson for whatever reason, but he's doesn't actually get on my nerves that much
things you're excited about in the near future:
(slowly and surely) getting back to writing!! reviewing some of these games that I've been playing recently, because I've got Opinions on some of them. and getting used to this fancy new limited edition 8BitDo controller that I got. if this was a week ago, I could've said watching my friend finish the main story of Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, but that's already happened
least favourite ship in a fandom you're in:
again, not really in fandom land so I have no idea about what ships go around.
what's the most toxic fandom you've been in:
as a gamer and basketball fan, those are wildly toxic fanbases. gamers are so mean to the devs (sometimes rightfully so, other times not so much) and to other players. like literal death threats sometimes, it's insane. and then fans of basketball would literally boo their own players at times, like what.
list three things you find beautiful about life:
Space science (thanks Kurzgesagt)! Other people's works (art, writing, games, or otherwise)! Family, friends, and pets!
any dreams for the future:
finishing and publishing any of my works so that people can (hopefully) enjoy the experience I made for them
how are you feeling today?
another day of writing, gaming, etc. but it's grey and gloomy outside and it's sucking like half of my energy away, especially because I need to walk the dog later. and the NBA Trade Deadline is at 3pm so I might be spending more time than usual paying attention to player movement/trades between teams, especially because my team is Not Good and I'm expecting them to make moves this deadline.
no pressure tagging @talesfromaurea, @moonluringfrost, @ettawritesnstudies, and sleepy friend already tagged @oh-no-another-idea and @drippingmoon, but I'll tag as well if you'd like :)
#ink rambles#tag game#get to know me tag#saw the music question and went. I was listening to J-Rock but now I'm listening to K-City Pop and realized I'll just listen to whatever I#encountered at that time. or I'll just listen to the same 3 songs on repeat for like a month 🤡. plus game OSTs are just so great that#yes. I will listen to the Karaoke songs from all the Yakuza games. thank you.#a couple years ago the fans of my team decided they would boo every time this one player touched the ball because of something he said in#the off-season. like we traded him away and still they boo'd him when he was on the other team. like come on. the moment is over lmao#trying to do too many things at once has made writing this take more than an hour lol

another one! tagged by @scarvenartist (thanks!! hello! :D)
Are you named after anyone? Yes! BibleCharacter from ABibleBook :}
When was the last time you cried? Monday when I watched the 2nd half of Hamilton. I've cried so much in the past two weeks?? three whole times?? I never cry this much?? but Hamilton made me cry twice and learning Japanese made me cry once
Do you have kids? Nope. Unless you count my favorite ocs, in which I have... *counts*... at least twenty.
What sports do you play/have you played? I was in one semester of hap ki do once! That was fun. I also like to walk. I did twice-weekly long walks as all my P.E. credits in homeschool, and to this day I always walk rather than take busses. I'm dreading having to find ways to exercise other than my in-built College Campus Walks To Classes when I leave college :((( maybe I'll start yoga again... sigh... or maybe I'll do what sparks joy and go hike by myself sometimes! I'm hoping to take more martial arts classes in the future, too.
Do you use sarcasm? Sometimes! but only in situations where I'm pretty confident it'll be well received and isn't mean-spirited. although I admit in my worst/most fearful moments with strangers sometimes I do get sarcastic as a defense mechanism. I'm growing out of that, though.
What is the first thing you notice about people? Nowadays it's fashion choices, usually. I like noticing what people choose to wear! I love it when people get weird with it. Old ladies with big ostentatious earrings are some of my favorites to see. Also young adults with anime stuff on their backpacks.
What's your eye color? Brown :} rich warm dark brown
Scary movies or happy endings? Happy ending most of the time Please 🥺 I only like watching scary/sad stuff with my dad. he unlocks that in me. and sometimes with Stormy.

How tall are you? 5'4. a good height
Favorite subject in school? Currently, Advanced Ceramics is my favorite class. Historically, English, Psychology, and History have been my favorites overall.
Dream job? tbh, interlibrary loan assistant..... I dream of having @isfjmel-phleg's career..... but currently I'm pursuing professional tutoring bc it seems more achievable
Tagging... anyone who wants to do this! I feel like my friends are all pretty busy right now so I'll leave it up to whoever sees this and Likes these questions :}

Shipper Tag Game!
Tagged by @sparkylulu! Haven't done anything like this in YEARS lol
What ship were you completely obsessed with as a teenager, but now you don't care about anymore?
*squints* At first, I thought about Hetalia but even then, I don't think I had ships I was obsessed with. The closest I can think of is NaruHina. I used to be obsessed with it alongside SasuSaku, but the ship's just fallen off my radar over time.
2. What ship would you consider your first one?
SasuSaku. Hands down. Been obsessed since 4th grade. The hype mellowed over time as I grew up, but it's still a ship I actively search fanworks for.
3. Your first fanfic was about which couple? / Do you remember the first couple you saw fan art of?
TAKE A GUESS LMAO
4. Have you ever gotten into ship discourse?
Oh absolutely. Being a kid means you say and do stupid and mean stuff that will have consequences and force you to learn your lessons. I was no saint as a teen.
5. Did you use to have any NOTP or have one currently?
In the past, yes. But nowadays I have the "ship and let ship" and "stay in your own lane" mindset.
6. Who were the last couple in the last fanfic you read?
Haikaveh. I eat so good with that ship :P
7. Currently, do you have any OTPs?
Let's see... Haikaveh, Xiaolumi, Neuvifuri, Clorivia, KazuTomo (Genshin), SasuSaku (Naruto), JhinSona (LoL), Ikarishipping (Pokemon), Blood Dupre x Alice (HnKnA)
8. Is there any couple that, to this day, that you are extremely mad about not getting into?
Nope.
9. Is there any ship you used to dislike but now you think they're kind of interesting?
I'm not gonna say "dislike", but I certainly didn't understand why people shipped Neuvifuri romantically at the time until 4.2 Archon Quest came out. I understood the assignment, and I have hopped on board baby.
10. Do you have any ship that, in the past, would have been considered normal but now you would be cancelled over?
I honestly don't remember lol
11. What is your favorite crack ship?
Uh, me and Boris Airay. Duh.
12. What do most of your ships have in common?
Opposites Attract, BABY!!!
13. What do you absolutely hate in a ship?
Not the biggest fan of that trope where the love interests try to destroy/break each other in some way or another. (I guess that main ship for H*nnibal is the closest I can think of.) It's just not for me, but I'm not gonna try to yuck someone's yum.
Not gonna tag anyone, but it's been a fun thing to fill out. That felt nice :)

what is your favorite Disney/pixar movie?
Oooh, good question and a tough one too. Let's see...
My favorite Disney movie has to be The Lion King, with Hercules and Mary Poppins being close runner-ups.
I was one of those die-hard Lion King fans when it came out. I had to rewatch it almost every day after school and collect everything I could get my mittens on. But I was a poor young teen living on a very small allowance so I had to do with magazine cutouts and crudely drawn (and traced over) art. I could quote it all from start to finish.
Nowadays, the movie isn't really on my mind anymore and I haven't seen it in a long time, but it still holds a special place in my heart.
Also, The Lion King 2 and 1½ are good too! The live-action version can die in a ditch somewhere...
Then there's Hercules, a funny and well-animated movie that felt different from all its predecessors with the type of comedy and parody it possessed... at least to me. I also love how Hercules was stylized with its animation and designs. I had a weak spot for mythical stuff back then (Egyptian and Greek gods) then so that movie just hit right, no matter inaccurate.
Also Hades. Bada-bing bada-boom.
Mary Poppins is on my list because it was the only live-action Disney movie that I really enjoyed as a kid. There were others but I think Mary Poppins (that beautiful woman who made me wish I was just as pretty as her and possessed magic) tickled the "going to another world for adventure" trope that I love so much since childhood. It helped that one of these little adventures was animated.
I wanted to be like Mary Poppins when I'd grown up; kind, helpful, stern and honest in the kindest way, and pretty. I can't say I managed xD but I still love young me for dreaming of it.
When it comes to Pixar, I love Turning Red. Yep, I do. I love the animation, color palettes, and the 90's/early 2000 (anime) aesthetics because I was an early teen during that time and well, the Turning Red setting resonates with that. I was never into boybands but my lady friends and classmates were and I recognize so much of that "early teen fan girl" behavior shown in the movie (especially before the internet was even a thing). Yeah, I remember your walls and ceiling completely filled with cutouts of various boyband members, Jeffica! And when you ran out of space, you used the inside of your closet. Now that's commitment! <3
The message Turning Red tries to convey didn't hit me in the personal(!) feels until certain things that were said towards the ending reminded me of past family matters and had me bawling.
What is y'all's favorite Disney/Pixar movie? Let me know in the tags or replies!

15 Questions for 15 Friends
Tagged by: @the0wlchemist
Are you named after anyone?
Nope. My birth name is tied to something religious, but my chosen name is random.
When was the last time you cried?
Happens all the time. I try to schedule a weekly breakdown to get it out of my system.
Do you have kids?
Ha! No. Not planning on having any unless somehow I marry into a rich family and we won't stress about the finances, even then, it'll probably be adoption.
What sports do/have you played?
When I was really young I liked basketball, then badminton. There was a time I did volleyball as well but it fucked up my arms too much that I couldn't draw so I dropped it. Nowadays I'm trying to get back into badminton.
Do you use sarcasm?
What, lil ol' me? No. Not at all.
What is the first thing you notice about people?
Body language. I pick up on vibes and I hate making eye contact so I notice movement first. Not that I'm judging people for how they are when we first meet, who knows what they're going through.
What's your eye color?
Black. Or just a very dark brown? I don't know.
Scary movies, or happy endings?
Happy endings. Life is too fucked up as it is, I want the media I consume to life me up.
Any talents?
Art, for the most part. I'm pretty good at thinking of things on the spot for DnD? I also write, occasionally. I'm also very good at talking to myself.
Where were you born?
Philippines is as much as you'll get from me.
What are your hobbies?
I like looking at art and creating art. Watching anime, movies, kdramas, etc. I enjoy DnD and TTRPGs.
Do you have any pets?
I have a lot of cats. And a dog.
How tall are you?
None of your business.
Favorite subject in school?
English. I used to like reading. Now I can't help but analyze everything and it's become less enjoyable.
Dream job?
I just want to do art and not get stressed about the financial aspects of it all.

Thank you for the tag, @hikari-yumi! 💚💚💚
1. Are you named after anyone?
Technically a saint (my mom liked a statue of her she saw once). I was given my late aunt's name as a middle name, but it got lost in the bureaucratic shuffle over the years, so it doesn't show up on any of my documents any more.
2. When was the last time you cried?
Pfshhh. When's the last time I didn't cry? Teary-eyed, today, over a post. Tears falling, surely sometime in the last three days. Full-on sobbing, I think last week.
(I know, I'm a mess.)
3. Do you have kids?
No, and I don't ever want any.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
I used to, but nowadays not a lot.
5. What sports do you play/have played?
I tried gymnastics, basketball, and modern dance in elementary school. None of those stuck. (I am very unathletic.)
6. What's the first thing you notice about people?
Huh. I'm honestly not sure. Probably if they're cheerful and seem easy to get along with, or they're frowning/serious and seem unfriendly.
7. What's your eye color?
Dark brown.
8. Scary movies or happy endings?
Happy endings all the way. I can't handle scary things very well.
9. Any special talents?
I... was a natural with chopsticks when I first tried them? 😬 And I'm fairly good at learning languages (but then of course I forget them if I don't use them, so I only really speak Italian and English 😅).
10. Where were you born?
Italy, nowhere really special.
11. What are your hobbies?
Writing!!! 😄 (I'm still excited that finally I get to say it, too 😅) And then reading, playing a few video games (mostly Pokémon), playing D&D.
12. Do you have pets?
My beloved boys, my cats Sasha and Misha. 💕💕
13. How tall are you?
164 cm (or 5'4½'').
14. Favorite subject in school?
All scientific subjects (Math, Physics, Science, you name it), and English.
15. Dream job?
Used to be astrophysicist, now I'd honestly take "no job I just magically receive enough money to live decently and chill out and write fic forever", at least for a little while (I'm a liiiiiiittle burned-out).
*deep breath* This time, I can do it! 💪 I'm tagging (with ZERO pressure) @nicoroni, @debstinyyy, @imaginatorofthings, @saltedpin, @youngerfrankenstein, @damedanedameyodamenanoyo, @pearlnareff, @seaofolives, @exquisitefrogprince, @applescabs, @maidenvault, @carito-dorito, @art-trocious, and anyone else who'd like to play! 💙

OCs As Experiences
Tagged by @shellibisshe and @statichvm to take this uquiz for some kids and boy oh boy did it read the ff kids too well. I’m terribly late and so just sending a few tags out to: @belorage @florbelles @unholymilf @adelaidedrubman @confidentandgood @strafethesesinners @jackiesarch @shallow-gravy @themarcspector and anyone else that wants to that hasn’t done it!
Siberite Akagane you leave people feeling nostalgic.
drug store valentine's cards. a favorite childhood song crackled through the radio; secret folded notes to find later. a soft yellow. christmas lights. knowing all the movie scenes that make your best friend laugh. birthday candles. a favorite hot chocolate mug. arcade carpets. lazy sunny saturday mornings. young, but not naive. you give people the sense of being held. falling asleep in the car and being carried safely inside. an acknowledgment that no matter how we age, there’s still something small and reaching within us that never goes away completely. (and that it’s not a bad thing.) there’s something sweet about you that feels hard to come by nowadays. a “they don’t make them like you anymore.” maybe it’s a chance to dip a toe back into childhood or a less pressured place—into imagination again, if even for a short while. a chance your presence gives in allowing people to enjoy it all more fully this time around.
Demos Reyes you leave people feeling inspired.
a moment of stolen breath. aquarium peace, walking through an art museum alone; a mesmerizing chorus of crowds singing along at the concert. turquoise blue. a sunshower. stained glass. paint stains on jeans. finishing a good book. pressed flowers. glasses of wine on your best friend’s balcony, the sun flirting from the horizon. spending time with you is nourishing in a way that feeds growth. it is the creative way you view the world, the way you move through life (whether expressed through dance, writing, music, visual art, cooking, or otherwise) that sparks the imagination of those around you. they watch you translate your experience in the truest form you know how, and they feel inspired to do the same. you seek to find universal understanding through these mediums, and the ones you hold close admire that hunger; maybe also happy to join in and get dirt under their nails, digging to the heart of things.
Anthea you leave people feeling refreshed.
a full exhale. first day of spring, a step into a hot bath; fruit eaten in the sunned grass. a full glass of water. birdsong. a cat napping by the window. the smell of a meadow after rain. deep green. laying with your head in a friend’s lap. coming back home after a long trip. freshly laundered sheets. a rallying force and refuge. both steadying and renewing. feeling your shoulders totally relax. when people are close to you, there’s a sense they can take their shoes off in the safety of your presence. to be unguarded and at ease. feeling safe enough to close their eyes; to rest in the peace and the comfort you offer, though you might not even be aware of it. you might ask people how they’re doing, but what they know you mean is, “where can I help? what do you need?” when the world can be such a tumultuous place, it is no small gift to have support like yours.
Azem you leave people feeling alive.
if I were to emphasize what being an experience is with any personality, it's you. you are a good cackle. a thunderstorm. late-night skinny dip. 85 mph, but getting away with 90. the smell of humid summer nights. sharp silver. a meteor shower. letting go of the handlebars for just a moment. the pop of a champagne bottle. swimming in the rain. another street of city lights to explore. there is a deep hum of possibility, and you want to fly within the jetstreams of it. without testing the boundaries of how far someone will go, you do invite a sense of excitement; never playing into the rush, but delighting in the fact that you don’t have to go far to find it. this life is meant to be lived, and you will do it well.
#siberite akagane oc#demos reyes oc#anthea oc#tag games#this was fun and truly red them to filth and honestly im fine with it!

15 questions for 15 mutuals
I was tagged by @rebouks 💜(My answers are long so I apologize LOL)
are you named after anyone? I’m not named after anyone, but I’m named after this song (Have a Little Faith in Me by John Hiatt). It’s my parents wedding/couple song and since I’m their first kid together (I have an older sister but we don’t have the same dad) they wanted to name me after their get-together song, so my middle name is Faith… I honestly think this is one of the coolest facts about me because I love music and to also be named after a song is a flex imo
when was the last time you cried? A few months ago I cried after I failed to find parking downtown while on my way to a field trip for one of my graphic design classes. It sounds pathetic and insignificant but for a suburban girl with little familiarity driving in the big city and multiple anxiety disorders, it was exceptionally difficult to keep my brain from imploding on itself. I parked in a spot close to the building’s entrance only to find it was reserved for long-term parking and there was absolutely no more parking spaces available, even along the street. So after 45 minutes of searching (and 30 minutes after I was supposed to have arrived) I decided to call it quits and went home… I got myself some bubble tea on the way to help cheer myself up but I still cried in my bathroom with my cat. I really wanted to go to this field trip but I couldn’t because of how inaccessible it was. I really hate driving in the city 👎
do you have kids? Nope, just my cats. I don’t want any human kiddos either. I’ve got many reasons why, but basically my older sister has 3 grade-school age kiddos and as much as I love them they’re a lot of work and I’ve learned over the years that I kinda don’t want to dedicate my life to a helpless person. I want my life to be about me.
do you use sarcasm a lot? I use it mostly with my friends and family members lol. Not all strangers understand how hilarious I am
what sports do you play/have you played? I used to be in dance and basketball when I was a kid, but after I chipped my front tooth in basketball practice my mom wouldn’t let me go back so not anymore. Nowadays I walk but Idk if that’s considered a sport lol. I enjoy playing badminton though; it’s so so fun (just wish we had a court around here; it’s not very popular where I live).
what’s the first thing you notice about other people? Their general personality, I guess. What someone is wearing and how they talk and move really says a lot about a person and it’s usually the first thing I notice.
eye colour? Blue
scary movies or happy endings? I don’t mind a thriller every once in a while but I generally tend to prefer happy endings
any special talents? My special talent is being incredibly awkward 👍
where were you born? Minnesota (US); born and raised
what are your hobbies? Besides the Sims I draw, paint, and write (as in authoring books/short stories you can read). I actually have a website/portfolio where I have my favorite creations if you wanna check it out: https://resplendent.carrd.co/
do you have any pets? Yep, two cats 🥰 Lacey, my brown tabby and white girl and Oskar, my fluffy long-haired tuxedo boy!
how tall are you? About 5′4″ or 163 cm
fave subject in school? Based on my hobbies said above, I think you can probably guess that it’s art lol. I took all the painting and drawing classes in high school.
dream job? A job where the hours are flexible and I’m not staring at the clock all day... Something that keeps me busy all day while not being too hard on the body.
Tagging @simelune @estah @glowbloom and anyone else who wants to do this (but you can ignore)

Shawn Daniel Bradford
Are you named after anyone?
My grandfather, his name was Daniel Bradford. My mother just liked the name Shawn, and I kinda do too!
When was the last time you cried?
When my daughter was born, my Rorie! I was human when she was conceived, she’ll be our only one since vampires can’t procreate!
Do you have kids?
Yep, my daughter Aurora!
Do you use sarcasm?
Maybe!
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
Their personality, I usually have a good idea whether someone is a good person or not within the first few minutes of meeting them.
What’s your eye colour?
Blue...and red when I vamped out! 🧛🏻
Scary movies or happy endings?
Scary movies, but only because my Hals gets terrified (even though she insists on watching them) and snuggles into me. That’s the best part.

My brother says I’m a good singer, but I don’t do that very often...except in the shower!
Where were you born?
Del Sol Valley, the less foggy part!
What are your hobbies?
I don’t really have time for hobbies nowadays, but when Hals and I were kids we would swim in the sea and dig in the sand for treasure. We’d also watch scary movies!
Have you any pets?
Does Lou Howell count? I’m kidding, he’s one of my best friends, even though he’s a werewolf!
What sports do you play/have played?
My brother Lance and I used to play tennis and he would take me skateboarding sometimes in Del Sol!
How tall are you?
5ft 9in.

I wanted to be an architect when I was a kid, or a vet, so I guess either of those would be cool!

So knowing that I'm a huge Bendy fan and love some good angsty fanfic with body horror, it may surprise you to hear that I'm not actually a big horror fan. Yeah, I can't do horror movies, I don't engage in most horror games, this is literally my one thing, save for a little bit of FNAF in regards to Security Breach and Ruin.
If I think back, it's been that way for a while. When I was a kid, we went to Disney's Hollywood studios, and our family of five rode the Tower of Terror together. Now, I love yo-yo styled rides, up and downs are some of my favorites. But I hated this. The story scared me so badly, and on that day there was a thunderstorm in the forecast, it was stupid levels of scary. I refused to ever go on it again until this year. Yeah, when we went on our trip this summer, my brother in law really wanted to go on it, so all seven of us gave it a shot. I was a big wimp the whole time. X'''D I turned away from the screen during the preshow and let one of my sisters hide her face in my shirt while covering her ears. I learned something very valuable! If I can't see the horrors, it's not so scary! Audio alone doesn't get me. But I did need to cover my eyes multiple times to not see the ghosts. My brother in law was really amused when he was holding his wife's hand in a cute couples way on one side, and mine in fear on the other. Laughed the whole time. We had a great time. I also wasn't bad on the Haunted Mansion anymore. Yeah, I was so scared of sitting alone on that, but nope, I rode it twice all by myself, and it was fine, I'd dare to say I liked it.
I think back to my teenage years, and oh boy, my friends sure did like scary stuff. One of them had a birthday on Halloween, so we went on a trip to a haunted house together. I stayed in the back because I didn't like being scared. That was a weird day in general, I remember thinking one of the animatronics in it looked like one of our professors who was kind of a garbage teacher? And I pointed it out to my best friend, and she laughed. Oh, there was the birthday someone made us watch DHMIS. Yeah I cannot look at that, nope, we block out everything related to that, I can't do it. That friend didn't know me as well, so I don't blame her so much, but a heads up that it was scary would have been nice. More than I can say for how I got introduced to FNAF.
Gosh let me tell you THAT story, it's kind of a doozy. I had an ex-friend who was a big Markiplier fan, and one day he and my bestie came over, and he insisted we watch the new Markiplier episode together. He had already seen it and knew what was coming, but I sure didn't. It was the first episode of his Let's Play of Five Nights at Freddy's, the very first game. We were seniors in high school, and I was very sensitive to horror. This friend knew that and showed it to me anyway. After the first Foxy jumpscare, I was done. I couldn't walk in the dark without swearing I saw Freddy out of the corner of my eye for like two months. But the worst part was, this had been looked up on MY YouTube account, and back then, YouTube didn't have the option to say "don't show me this" or "don't recommend me this". So for months I was stuck with recommendations for FNAF, most of which had thumbnails featuring Bonnie's jumpscare. I was dead set against FNAF for YEARS, hated it with a passion because I couldn't reasonably block it out. Which is why I'm grateful for more self curating tools on YouTube and Tumblr nowadays, and why I'm so appreciative when people bother to tag things.
It's because of that bad experience with FNAF that I was very hesitant to get into Bendy. I knew it was horror from the start, and my friends who were into it were also big into FNAF. But with all their icons changed to the Bendy face, I was curious, I needed to know. The art style intrigued me, I liked cartoons a lot, I wanted to know what this was. What really solidified it was hearing Can't Be Erased for the first time over a Discord call and then looking up the music video for myself. That and Build Our Machine had me hooked, so I watched a friend play through the first two chapters, and I found myself on a journey to dig into it myself. Sammy and Alice would proceed to steal my heart, and let me tell you, the anxiety I felt when Chapter 5 first dropped, the wait to see what happened, oh gosh did I need someone to hold my hand. One of my friends stuck with me through a playthrough of the chapter over a call, and bless her, I was such a mess. X'''D I can say that Dark Revival did not have me shaking with anxiety the whole time thankfully. The Bendy books have given me a similar rush though, I was so haunted by DCTL and TLO on a first read through. Like I knew it would end badly, but the how and why of it kept me curious.
The thing is, the only horror I really engage in is a little bit of indie mascot horror, but not all of it. Some of it I don't find particularly engaging. I've got little interest if there isn't much of a story, and I'm rather particular about what kinds of stories and presentation I like. But I like this little slice of horror, it's enough. Like you would think Poppy Playtime would be up my alley, given my love of toys and dolls, but no, it's not. Haunted dolls don't really do it for me I've discovered, maybe I ought to write a story that does. I like My Friendly Neighborhood, which I know, isn't very scary, but it sure did spook me with opening lockers. I think, it's okay if I'm not into most horror things, I have a few small things I like, and that's more than fun enough. I just acknowledge that this probably surprises people given some of what I love. X'''D
