I went crazy last night and couldn't stop thinking of @numberonetribble 's breakbee fanchild Piston, so I stayed up real late drawing them! (I took a few creative liberties, if that's okay)

When drawing this page, I had the stray thought of,, what if Bee didn't make it through Piston's birth? If that did happen I wonder how things would be with Breakdown having to parent all by himself,, hmmm,,, anyway it's supposed to be father-child bonding regardless of how you take it!

And then!!!! I thought of a semi-angsty minicomic? two-parter, whatever it is, I'm kinda proud of it (Breakdown's back is fuuuuuucked bro, how do you draw that shet) (I lowkey think I'm growing an obsession with that cunticon, he's so charming)

I wonder if Piston favors their sire because he acts more like the fun/reckless parent, while Bee is more protective/kinda sheltery, but that's just a theory...

Who is the oc on the right? I want to know more about them 👀👀

hmm. he grows up with a group of travelling showmen/circus, but has to leave it relatively young and ends up working just kinda whatever job he can get as a teenager. he eventually meets the other oc, strawhat girl, when she's burning down a huge sawmill thats being build to clear out the forest she lives in, helps her escape and both of them end up wanted for it. few years later theyre both living deep in a steppe under different names where he works as a post rider/courier. he's a fun guy and a pretty skilled acrobat and rider. dreams of performing again at some point but he's still technically a wanted criminal on the run so thats a bit difficult. i might change his outfit a bit tho im not super happy with that lol

#also his name's Luz but pronounced Lutz like the german name. short for luzerne dont question that #so many of my ocs have plant based names #his horses name is Swinje and she's my favorite of all the horses i made for them tbh #ALSO i honestly am not 100% set on what his pronouns are tbh. definitely he him but maybe more than that. we will see #asks #(thank you for asking about my guys btw that means a lot <33 all my notes about them are in german and i always have kind of a hard time #putting things into words in english lol. hope this all makes sense tho)#aaede
