The Librarians: The Next Chapter Pulled From The CW’s Fall Schedule

Interesting. Pulling another show that was slated for the fall and “a new date has not yet been determined”.

The news comes one day after The CW announced that The Wranglers — an eight-part docuseries following the “personal and professional lives of young staff members working at the Circle Bar Dude Ranch in Montana” — will now air after Superman & Lois as of Oct. 24.

So they’re replacing it with a cheaper to make doc (that actually would have done better paired with Walker… just saying…). I do wonder if the Librarians will ever air it if they’ll just quietly not mention it again?

Wow! The CW is a HOT mess. The question is, will they scrap The Librarians entirely and take the tax break from counting it as a loss (like the WB did with Coyote vs. Acme), or are they holding it for the spring schedule because they have nothing else to promote?

My guess is the latter. They have Superman and Lois as their anchor for the fall schedule. They probably looked at their spring schedule and realized they didn't have an anchor for that. Since The Librarians has a prior fanbase, they may be banking on that as their primary marketing draw.

i've just finished my s7 rewatch and it's kinda so funny to me how much discourse people created over every bucktommy interaction when their whole arc boils down to tommy being patient and vulnerable with buck and showing up for him. like when you are not wearing shipper goggles under the name of "analysis" and don't try to reverse-engineer every word and look and shot with utmost bad faith, that's what it is. a simple and sweet story of a new exciting relationship with a guy who's understanding and willing to show up. literally the two things buck needs from a relationship but never had with his previous love interests. they are kinda sickeningly sweet and well-communicating actually lol

#yall are too serious and too strict about a show being written two weeks in advance like i love this show but picking out bits and pieces #and trying to make it all fit a narrative is kinda doing too much no one in the writing room is being that deliberate or precise or #enigmatic with their word choices as they write for a prime time network tv procedural #sometimes when a joke is played as a joke it's a joke #when a character says a character is good for another character thats what they mean #this show does not require reading between the lines for subtext it's just asking you connect the dots with common sense #and it's okay if you dont like the execution you can just say that without trying to make it an issue of morality or becoming #conspiracy theorists #anyway rant over #bucktommy #they are so precious i hope abc doesnt mess up this once in a lifetime luck they struck with tommy and continue the overall #beautiful dynamic they captured in a short few episodes #tevan #911 #also not saying this to bash any of his ex girlfriends i actually liked all of them for different reasons except for natalia who was #unfortunately just a blip #mimi.txt

#i’m struggling to figure out the beginning of the story #specifically: anith’s falling out with pebs closest friend (/qpp) emmyn #where emmyn is a little too blithe and oblivious and self centered to be a good partner to anith #and anith is too passive to call out when emmyn oversteps pebs boundaries and just builds up resentment over time #the conflict Really starts when emmyn starts messing with magic crystals neither of them understand (against anith’s advice)#(especially bad since anith is an experienced magi-geologist and knows how to deal with this sort of thing safely)#emmyn ends up getting magically overloaded and irreversibly possessed by it and in the ensuing fight ends up hurting anith badly #(i was thinking emmyn encases anith in crystal forcing anith to also bond with the crystals against pebs will and OH I GOT IT)#maybe the crystals can sort of. bring people under their power back to life #so emmyn accidentally fatally blasts anith with her newfound magic and encases peb in crystal to incorporate peb in the network #and then when anith wakes up and busts out of the crystal on pebs own (horrified at what peb has been turned into) THATS when they fight #and THATS when anith decides emmyn’s too far gone to be saved #oc: anith pebsen #oc: emmyn cressori

hey will be off tumblr for the rest of the week - things are Happening again and my head feels ready to explode.........would really appreciate prayer again. I'm constantly feeling like I'm on the brink of something (I don't KNOW what) terrible and I need to figure things out without before my body really DOES decide to shut down from the stress and the strange depressive dread that has been very difficult to shake this month. I would like to not feel like crying or throwing up at certain points in the day and also would like to not be so exhausted in the heart and mind area so that I can actually deal with these things. Especially since finals are looming ahead

#wish i had my support network but what with all my friends being so busy #with school work engagements marriage pregnancies housing issues #and my priests both up to their ears in work and all my older sister figures #having issues and more important things to deal with and my family being one of the sources of high stress #i dont have anyone to talk to or go to at the moment #so i need to figure that out before i have another health crisis because my body's starting to give up on me #(again)#on top of that there needs to be planning in place for the summer and next fall and graduation #i just want to stick my head in the ground like an ostrich and stay there!!!! instead of wading through this mess during midterm season #and having to start finals the WEEK after midterms end #complaining again sorry #i am so tired and trying to be cheerful/distracting myself only lasts a few hours #im trying. i promise im trying. but the world seems rather bleak right now #and it is very hard not to feel so very alone #anyway i love you all and i'll see you soon

#having a Bad Day #one of my bosses was talking to me about classes i should take next year #and gave some helpful ideas about taking trial advocacy and pretrial lit #which. i do plan on taking the latter sometime next year #but both of those classes would severely mess up my entire course schedule and probably wouldn’t allow me to work twice a week at the firm #but i ofc don’t say that i just nod and agree and say thank you. they don’t need to know what classes i’m taking #and then my head boss talks to me after and says they are suggesting these courses bc my analysis writing has gotten worse since i started #and that he noticed i don’t have a ‘passion’ for this work #so . great. now i feel god awful. not about what they think about me but more about whether or not i’ll be able to keep a job here #and like normally i would not care but. i NEED this job i NEED the money #i pay for my mom’s mortgage and i have loans to pay off + just! normal general things to buy! and GAS!#without this job i’d have $240 a month roughly from my other job which is next to nothing #idk what i’m doing wrong. this job is such a ‘trial by fire’ and i’m sooo intimidated by my bosses #and i’m cheery and i don’t complain and i listen and i smile and i work quickly #and sure i make mistakes but i try! i swear!#if i don’t have this job past the summer idk what i’m going to do i’ll be so fucked #putting all of my eggs in this one basket. already committed to this summer but if they don’t want to hire me after graduation #i will be jobless. i have no network. i spend all of my time working or at home bc i live with two disabled people an hour+ away from campus #and i don’t have the time or energy to do anything else #i’ve dealt with soooo much worse in my life idk why i’m freaking out so much rn #i would give anything to call my grandpa rn for some advice but .#…. haha anyways . great weather we’re having

Mum and I are up to episode 4 and we love Emily and Tara but omg the dog scenes are really bothering us. Is the evil son of a bitch done with the dog now? We fast forwarded through the last scene that had the dog in it in episode 4, so I just want to be forewarned if that's okay. Much appreciated

Hey! For anyone else bothered by that, Sicarius/fuckhead does not have the poor dog make an appearance in episode 5.
