Monday Morning
Kiyana walked into work that morning feeling like shit was going to hit the fan. Her date with Eli was… wonderful.. It took a while for her embarrassment to go away from Josh showing up and showing his ass but after getting over that they had a great time. If she was being honest, she could see herself settinging down again with him. She had a soft smile on her face as she walked over to the nurses station after checking in on a patient.
Kiyana jumped as Debra plopped down on the chair next to her. “Spill the tea, tell me everything.” Kiyana laughed at her use of slang that she definitely learned from one of her grandchildren. Kiyana smirked and contented to chart, laughing when Debra reached over and turned off the computer monitor.
“Debra!.” She chortled, turning her chair to she was facing Debra who flagged her off.
“It was only the monitor, your work is good.” Debra rolled her eyes. “Spill!” Kiyana rolled her eyes aswell before telling Debra all about her and Eli’s date, minus her ex-husband showing up, she did not want to relive that, at all.
Kiyana told Debra all about her evening with Elijah, how he took her to The Grand Marlin, how they took a nice stroll on the beach after dinner and when Kiyana told Debra that she and Elijah had gone back to his place, Debra’s eyes were as wide as saucers.
“Wait, stop” Debra whispered, leaning in closer to Kiyana so none of the other nurses could hear what they were saying. “You guys didn’t… you know.” Kiyana bit her lip before she responded to Debra.
“No, I mean we didn’t go all the way, if you know what I mean.” Debra’s eyes were still wide but there was now a smirk on her face.
“Oh, I'm catching what you’re throwing.” she responded, making Kiyana laugh. “Was it good, better yet, was it better than your ex-husband?”
“Oh my god, Debra!” Kiyana mutters as she placed her head in her hands, feeling her cheeks flush with embarrassment. Debra stared at Kiyana as she awaited her answer. “Oh my god” Kiyana muttered again “it was good, but no, nowhere as close.”
“Sorry to interrupt ya’ll.” One of the new nurses Arin, spoke up as she hung up the phone. “But we have a new patient coming into room 302. EMT’s said her contractions are 8 minutes apart, but she still wants to be admitted.” Kiyana nodded and stood from her seat to go get the patient’s room ready.
“We’re not done talking Nurse Jackson.” Debra called out after her and Kiyana made a yeah-yeah motion with her hand before walking away. Just as Kiyana finished putting a new sheet on the patient’s bed, the expected mother-to-be was rolled into the room.
“Hi, I’m Kiyana. I'll be your nurse today.” She says as she walks over and helps the patient into the bed.
“Nice to meet you.” The patient says, wincing in pain as another contraction hits her. Kiyana offers her hand so the patient could squeeze it. “Thank you.”
“It’s no problem.” Kiyana smiles, “I’ve been in your position four times, I know them contractions hurt. Can I get your name and date of birth?”
“Alexis Daniels.”
'What a small world, Daniels isn't really a common last name.' Kiyana thinks as she logs into the computer to chart Alexis’ vitals.
“December 15th 1989”
“Perfect, and what is baby boy's name?”
“Me and my husband still haven’t fully agreed on a name yet, but I like the name Carter.”
“That is such a cute name. It was my top choice for my youngest as well, but me and my - we went with Kairo.” Kiyana said, smiling at Alexis as she chided herself in her head for almost getting too personal with the patient, not everybody needed to know she was a divorced mother. “I can still put Carter in the chart or we can just call him baby Daniels until you and your husband come up with a name.”
“Baby Daniels, is perfect. This is our third child but first boy and he really wants to be a part of the naming decision.” Alexis breathed out as another contraction hit her, she then cursed and threw her phone down next to her. “Speaking of husband, can you do me a huge favor.?”
Kiyana stopped typing and turned her attention to Alexis. “Sure, anything you need.”
Alexis smiles. “My husband actually works in this hospital, he’s a surgeon on the trauma floor. Do you think you can page him for me? He’s not answering his phone.” Alexis says, holding up her phone and Kiyana felt her stomach twist at Alexis’ words. 'Just a coincidence,' Kiyana thought. 'Just because her last name is Daniels doesn’t mean shit.'
“Mmhm, keep telling yourself that.” That other voice called out, making Kiyana frown.
“Sure, I can.” She finally responded, plastering a smile on her face. “What’s his name?”
“Elijah Daniels.” Kiyana digs her fingernails into her thigh to stop herself from cursing. She was hurt. She felt sick to her stomach as she thought about what she and Eli did last night.
“Shit, you got such a pretty pussy ma’” Elijah breathed out as he used his index and middle finger to spread her lips and suck her clit into his mouth. Kiyana moaned, lifting her hand to his head before frowning when she realized there was nothing there for her to grab on to. That thought quickly leaves her head as he thrust two of his fingers in her
She felt betrayed and played. Then she started to feel sick to her stomach. ‘Oh my god,’ She thought ‘I'm no better than that woman Josh was sleeping with.’
“Kiyana, are you okay?” Kiyana snapped out of her flashback, her voice shaking with anger as she responded back to Alexis
“I’m fine. I’m gonna go page your husband for you.” Kiyana turns her back to Alexis and storms to the nurses station, snatching the phone off the hook she - as calmly as she could - pages Elijah to the labor & delivery floor.
“Dr. Elijah Daniels to labor & deliver, Dr. Elijah Daniels to labor & delivery.” Debra arches an eyebrow at Kiyana.
“You missed him that bad?” She jokes, laughing then stops as she feels the anger radiating off of Kiyana. “Sweetly what happened?”
“That asshole is married with children! His wife is the patient in 302.” Debra’s jaw dropped open. “I feel so freaking stupid.” She hissed out just as the elevator dinged and the doors opened, revealing a cheerful Elijah who was smiling brightly as he made his way towards Kiyana.
“I knew that was you, are you okay? Is everything good?.” He smiled, and Kiyana struggled to maintain her composure, because at that moment, all she wanted to do was to smack that smile off his damn face. The more she looked at him, the angrier she got.
“I don’t know, you tell me.” She crossed her arms over her chest. “Your wife is in room 302 waiting to deliver your third child.” She felt a sick satisfaction flow through her as the smile slowly left his face. Debra quickly decided to leave them alone, deciding it was time to go check on her patient.
“Wait, I can explain.” Kiyana held her hand up, cutting him off.
“I don’t wanna hear shit you have to say to me Elijah. Think about how your wife will feel once she finds -'' Elijah gripped her arm and pulled her down the hall, away from the nurses station.
“She aint finding shit out, Kiyana. What I do ain’t none of her damn business.” When she tried to pull her arm away, he gripped it tighter, “You don’t know what I'm capable of Kiyana. You’re gonna go back in that damn room and help my wife through her discomfort and when the time comes, help deliver our child okay?!” He sneered at her, when she didn’t respond he squeezed her arm until she cried out in pain.
“Ow! Stop. Okay! Okay!” She cried out in pain, feeling her tears sting her eyes. Elijah let go of her arm and straightened out his lab coat.
“I’m gonna go check on my wife. I’ll see you later.” He brushed past her, leaving her rubbing her arm, where she knew she would be bruised, pulling his wedding ring out of the pocket and sliding it onto his finger.

A precious trip we have yearned for
for Ignoctweek2024 SFW Day 4 : Marriage Life (Proposal, Wedding, Honeymoon)
Warning : Angst with Romance
"It's been a long time since we sneaked out of Citadel together, right?" Noctis asked. He was driving his restored Regalia, his eyes still focused on the road ahead.
His question made Ignis smile while he was recalling his beautiful memories. As far as he could remember, the young Crown Prince of Lucis had had his retainer drive him out of the Citadel for a breath of fresh air on a weekly basis. Doing so had been enjoyable, and become much more delightful when the retainer had been aware of his affection for the prince.
Teenagers' chilling out could not compare to husbands' three-day trip at all, but they shared some similar vibes.
"If you mean going out together and completely alone, then yes." He replied, smiling at his beloved husband. "I'm so grateful and excited. But you don't have to bother planning the trip and driving me there yourself."
"You're buried in tons of work night and day. If it's not me, no one can drag you out." The King chuckled. "Besides, we never had a honeymoon yet."
He did not drive too fast. So they could take thier time to chitchat and enjoy beautiful sceneries. Noctis parked at a seaside rest stop with a nice garden nearby. He invited Ignis to stroll around and take some photos.
Ignis did miss this moment, when his gorgeous husband was in front of him in a picture-perfect scenery. The King looked fully relaxed today. He did not grow facial hair anymore. Doing so made him look much younger and, in Ignis' point of view, more beautiful. He took lots of photos of him. Noctis did likewise before pulled his husband close to take a self portrait.
The second rest stop to visit was a few kilometers from their destination. "This coffeeshop is highly rated. Want to try?" Noctis asked. He had researched so much. No doubt Ignis easily agreed. They made an order of a medium dark roasted black coffee for Ignis, a mocha coffee for Noctis and some pastries. The coffee and pastries were superb. Ignis enjoyed them so much that he asked Noctis to revisit the shop on the way back.
They arrived their destination, a luxury seaside hotel which they had never been. It was almost unbelievable to see a fast restoration to a perfect grandeur condition. "The restoration could be done this fast. Thanks to your hard work too, Iggy." Noctis told him when he admired the owners.
They dined in a private room of the hotel's restaurant. The atmosphere was perfect with soothing background music. The hotel did have a highly skilled kitchen brigade, every recipe was exceptionally tasty, and paired with fine wine. Noctis enjoyed fresh roasted seafood so much while Ignis tried so hard to identify the ingredients of their divine dipping sauce.
After their delightful dinner, they felt a bit full so they decided to went for a walk on the beach. The sky was clear with plenty of stars and pale cloud of milky way. They walked leisurely, chatted and smiled. Noctis grabbed Ignis' hand when cool breeze brushed throught them. Ignis held his hand back. And when he looked at his husband again with the starry sky behind him, he gently squeezed his hand and stepped closer until their shoulders brushed, as he realized he was so lucky to be loved by this man. After everything they had been through in order to be together, now he was here holding his hand, he would never let him go again.
When they were back in their room, it was Ignis' turn to take care. There were various scents of massage oil, aromatic shower gel, shampoo, bath bombs and cologne available in the bathroom. Ignis carefully chose and blended them for extra alluring and soothing effect for his exhaushed husband. First, he gave Noctis a brief massage to stretch and relax his neck and shoulder muscles. Then he prepared aromatic warm water in a round bathtub for him. Soaking in circular bath could enhance aromatherapy effects of scented warm water. And he would gave him a full body massage after that. It worked flawlessly. Noctis was so relaxed and sleepy but he tried so hard to stay awake. He rested his head on Ignis' shoulder as they lain cuddling peacefully in bed. The older man caressed his scalp and hair as they chatted. He felt like he still had so much stories to share with his husband who was never done listiening to him. They talked, smiled and laughted for a long while until the King eventually fell asleep.
In the dead of the night, though he was so tired but Ignis was still awake. He caressed his beloved husband's black hair and enjoyed the mesmerizing look of the man in his arms. In the dimmed light, he could see his beautiful thick eyelashes so well. He looked much more mature after coming back from the crystal. His eyebrows were thicker, his babyfat disappeared so his gorgeous cheekbones and jawline were easily noticeable. He now had wrinkles under his eyes but his eyelashes were almost the same, the most attractive eyelashes he had ever seen. But whether he would look, he was, and always was, his beloved Noctis.
"Too happy to sleep?" Noctis asked with a sleepy voice.
"I suppose I am." Ignis whispered, tugging strands of his husband's hair behind his ear.
"Glad you like it." The King smiled, caressing his husband's jawline.
"Thanks for this dream trip, Noct. I didn't realize I have yearned for it for a long time."
"You get what you deserve, Iggy. This can't compare to what you've done for me and burdens you've shared with me."
"It's always my pleasure. Your safety and happiness are my utmost priorities. I can sacrifice all of mine or endure everything awaited to see your smile."
"Thanks. But if you don't have a nice day off, how can I see your brilliant smile?" The King left a kiss on his husband's lips. "The most beautiful smile in the world."
..
..
Ignis woke up into darkness with a small degrees of light. He blinked a few times until he was certain about his current situation. Tears pooled and started dropping from the corners of his eyes. Ignis let them flow to his pillow, the one that had used to be Noctis'. He buried his head in the pillow and sob quietly as he realized that he had woken alone in the Crown Prince's bedroom in the Citadel. The room had a side door leading to the royal retainer's bedroom, so he had been able to keep their secrets about them sharing a bed. Noctis had usually told him that doing so had made him sleep more soundly.
After daybreak, he, as well as other Council's members, had come back and rebuilt the Citadel. He had claimed this bedroom to be his own and restored it to original condition. The decoration reminded him of his precious old memories, especially ones about King Noctis who had sacrificed his life saving the world.
The alarm went off. Ignis snoozed it and lain down, letting himself cry for a bit longer. The sweeter dream he had dreamt, the more severe heartbroken he felt as he realized such dream would never come true. When the alarm rang again, he wiped his tears and got up. He had lots of work awaited and a Council's meeting to attend.
He arrived his office before 7 a.m., as he always did. His assistants had already prepared reports and plans for him. He started working by examining the Citadel's daily progression reports and cash flow statement while he was sipping his first cup of coffee. He had to finish all reports before analyzing enormous number of requests and plans sent to the Citadel, and then the upcoming meeting's agenda, in order to make comments and conclusions for all of them.
He finished listening to the agenda shortly after his lunch, then he attended the Council's meeting at 1 p.m. All members, including Marshal Cor Leonis and Gladiolus Amiticia, now the Shield of Lucis, rose from their seats when he arrived. Ignis greeted them and started the meeting.
Being the Council's chairman was not what he had expected. He had been trained to be Noctis' hand and advisor, so he had always imagined his older self sitting by Noctis' side and providing him all available information at the meeting. Even after he knew his lover's fate, he had not figured out. Because he had not dared imagining about his life after losing the one whom he loved the most.
..
..
During world of ruins, He had waited for him, wishing to touch him and hear his voice again. When they had reunited in Hammerhead. His dream had come true. They fell into each other's arms, caressing and whispering all sweet words they could.
After ten-year disappearing, Noctis had much more to catch up. Moreover, his comrades found that their King was over exhausted and dehydrated, so they ask him to rest for a more few days before their departure.
The four of them chatted a lot about their past and plans in their future. Ignis found that Noctis usually chose to play along when they talked about their plans in the future. He might know he would not survive his final mission. When Cor visited him hours later, they talked about how he and his team managed the city and organized the hunters and guards. The Marshal could barely handle all burdens and implied that he was so glad to welcome his King. But Noctis confirmed that he was destined to sacrifice himself on the throne of Lucis. Although he could help consulting him but he could not lend him a hand after his mission completed. His affirmation led to an unexpectedly heartbroken atmostphere among them, especially Gladiolus and Prompto.
After the Marshal's leaving, three of them embraced him firmly. Prompto fumbled his thanks and apology to him, Gladiolus shed his tears while telling him again and again how he was the best but Ignis just gently wrapped his arm around his lover's shoulders without a word. Noctis returned hugs to all of them. He looked calm. But Ignis could feel some anxiety in his voice, something that showed he was uneasy.
After spending hours crying, the brothers' feelings were better. They decide to make every moment together more pleasurable. They changed the subject to memorable or joyful ones, which could make them smile. They laughed a lot during their dinner and they promised to have another joyful day before they parted.
But Ignis could still feel some concern in Noctis' voice and gestures, so when they were alone in their caravan, he wrapped his hand around his lover's waist and asked.
"What's on your mind, Noct?"
"For years Astrals prepared me for my callings but my duties as a King." He sighed, holding his lover's hand in his own. "Would you mind if I ask you for something selfish, like I'll trouble you again?"
"No, and I never would. Just go ahead." Ignis turned his head towards his lover, his free hand caressing his cheek. He could feel the tension from his jaw.
Eventually, Noctis poured his heart out. "What if I, umm, ask you to marry me?"
"May I ask you for your reason?" He asked quietly.
"Because of our status, you always tell me that you're fine to be just my secret love. You never ask for your special status or announcing our relationship, let alone wedding plan. For me, your love and your care are much more than I can asked. And I'll be ok to stay like this all my life if you want to. But I'm a king. My country is in a mess. It'll be my responsibility to restore it but I can't do it myself cause I have to die first. And it's so hard to find someone doing it for me cause I don't have any relative, not even a Council's member to take charge for me. And, you know, Cor accepted that he and his team can't do it without your help." He cleared his throat. "I'll need someone inherit and manage my family's stuff during rebuilding our country. Someone who'll gain most respect and always have the final say. And I trust you." He gently squeezed his lover's hand. "You were trained to be my advisor. You know full well how to operate the city and perhaps the whole country. And you are my love, my only love of my life." He cupped his lover's cheek. Then he continued with slightly trembling voice. "We've been together for so long. It's time to treasure our love more. Would you be also my husband who'll take all my stuff after my death?"
"When I told you, 'Don't be afraid to let us share the load', I meant it, and I've never changed my mind. So I'll say yes." He leaned closer until their foreheads touched. "I'll restore our beloved country with sufficient use of your legacy and utmost diligence. You have my word, my love and my King."
"Thank you." Noctis whispered, pulling his lover to a kiss. His tears ran down his cheeks to wet Ignis' hand. The older man wiped them gently from his cheeks as they broke the kiss. The younger man kissed his palm, tears running down one after another.
"I used to doubt why lots of lovers cry during their proposal scenes. But, now, me too." He chuckled.
"It's alright to cry tears of joy, isn't it?" Ignis' smile widened as he pulled his husband-to-be to another kiss.
Gladio, Prompto and Cor were informed in the next morning. They helped preparing a simplest wedding ceremony, exchanging rings and vows. Noctis found his casual royal ring, a classic black one with a small black and silver Lucis emblem, in his retrieved luggage. While Ignis had a crownsguard Insignia ring, the symbol of crownsguard training completion. Both rings were not designed to be exchanged in a wedding ceremony, but they were wholeheartedly accepted by both of them.
All Cor's administrative team and the Council's member-to-be were invited to the ceremony. Prompto took a lot of photos, as he would need them to introduce Ignis' new status. Upon his request, The King would not grant him any Royal title. But he would still carry his name, as Mr. Ignis Stupeo Scientia-Caelum, The King's husband.
After the ceremony, they had another night to prepare for their final mission. Then they headed to Insomnia, fighting daemons and Ardyn with all their might, until the darkness was dispersed at a cost of King Noctis' life.
Cor and all volunteers moved to Insomnia and started rebuilding as soon as they could. Since no one claimed the throne, they decided to form the Council as the only administrative body of the country. And they agreed unanimously to choose Ignis, The Late King's widower and only heir, to be the Lord Chancellor and the head of the Council.
Everyone put as much efforts as they could to restore their beloved country. Ignis was the one who worked hardest. He kept himself being buried under his work. He worked between 12 to 16 hours a day, with 2 shifts of assistants.
Such routine had worsened his health. But The rebuilding and restoration's pace had been very fast. So the Lord Chancellor had insisted on working, as keeping his promise.
..
..
It was almost 6 pm when the Council's meeting was over. All members were back to their places. Ignis decided to have some fresh air at the citadel's rooftop before returning to his office. The sun was not set. He could still sense some degrees of light.
Nowadays sunlight reminded him of the King of Kings, the man who had sacrificed his life to bring it back. He was the one he always missed. His sweet dream last night had made him miss him more.
Their marrying had been for the sake of their country. Their time together had been numbered. So they had never honeymooned. But he had not realized that he had yearned for it so much. Maybe his subconscious mind had tried to comfort himself by arranging a wish-fulfillment dream.
But he was curious about his appearance. He knew 30-year-old Noctis had looked much more mature with his facial hair, more resembling his father, as shown in his vision. But Noctis in his dream had not looked that mature. He had had no facial hair at all, and that had made him look slightly more mature than his 20-year-old self, the look that he had never seen, or expected before.
Was it the evidence of how he became in the afterlife now? Ignis did not have any proof of it and would never have.
But how Noctis had talked had been a bit odd too. He had often, too often, made comments about his hard working, his fatigue and the restoration's effeciency while they had had a delightful belated honeymoon trip.
Ignis knew that a lot of people had shown their concern about his health problems. Gladiolus and Cor had often warned him not to kill himself working that hard. He understood but seemed not to care.
'But if you don't have a nice day off, how can I see your brilliant smile? The most beautiful smile in the world.' Noctis had sometimes known the best way to persuade him and make his heart melt. And he could remember full well how he had done.
Perhaps his subconscious mind had done its best to arrange the most reliable warning and most relaxing dream to him. But if he still believed that such dream had been a message from his Noctis, it would be alright, too.
He kissed his wedding ring, recalling his memories about the one who had put the ring on his finger. The Lord Chancellor smiled and whispered his reply to his beloved late husband.
'Noct,
I hope you're doing well.
The restoration is still in progress. We've made it faster than I imagined, but our to-do list is still very, very long.
It might take some decades. Please keep waiting.
About the last night dream trip, was it really you?
If yes, it means the world. I did enjoy it.
Would you please take me there again when I join you at the other side?
I'll try not to push myself too hard. I promise.
Love you always.
Ignis.'

A Walk with your Pilot
Security Log Drabbles part of the Secret Springs Shenanigans
My entire masterlist and blog are for readers 18+ MDNI. I do not consent to my work being used in AI, recommended on TikTok, borrowed or plagiarized.
Summary: It’s been slow for security, until a silent partner makes her presence known and a new Marcus is discovered. Chloe tried to apologize to Frankie.
Warnings: possible kidnapping, allusions to smut, banana 🍌, Frankie being a sweetheart, Ezra being a scoundrel but also that money 💰
Word Count: 1k+ (an actual Drabble!)
Notes: I made liberal use of @pedropascalito ‘s wonderful Ezra Moodboard. Ezra is a scoundrel in this one, but in their Moodboard he’s a sweetheart. The counter is totally legit, this version of Ezra is Nerdie aka NP’s fault. 👀
Main Masterlist/ Frankie Morales Masterlist
My security logs have been scant…not for lack of reporting. Everyone is well behaved, enjoying themselves. It’s very good, meaning less work for all of us, though I have a few concerns.
Our silent business partner, let’s call her NP. She apparently was at the Secret Springs without giving me or Dave a heads up, she also took a third Marcus who came down from one of the surrounding mountain ranges (that is a mystery on its own) for an interrogation and neither of them have been seen for the last few days. Then suddenly this morning, the third Marcus is sipping orange juice with the Mayor and the other two Marcus’s. Dave and I were perplexed and the only message we got from NP was:
He’s solid. He’s firm. He responded appropriately. He’s got quite an appetite. I handed him over to the Mayor in good condition.
I’m not an idiot, but I’m also pretty sure that kind of questioning (if you can even call it that) is entirely illegal. Roman Marcus doesn’t appear to have any complaints and says a real man shows you better than he tells you. I did not need to hear those words while he’s eating a banana shirtless but I’ll tell him I will keep that in mind. Mayor El says happy for all of our through work. I can only nod and take the compliment. It’s only been a week here.
Speaking of, I took Frankie to lunch to apologize for trying to go through his belongings and passing out drunk in his room. Neither were my best moments. I try to explain that I am a sane person, but the quizzical look he gives me informs me otherwise.
“Most people would try to be nice to the guy flying them halfway across the world. Or at least be more discreet about it. Are you sure this is the job for you querida (sweetheart)?”
“That’s why I’m taking you to lunch to apologize. That’s nice and I am excellent at my job! You’re the problem, I’ve been off kilter trying to-“ He’s sitting across from with his arms crossed, a slight lean and his lips curling into a grin. I feel like calling him a jerk, but he’s just being himself I assume. I can’t fault him for that. “Never mind. Just, see you around Frankie.” Retreat is always a viable option and one which I plan to use as I get up from the table. He grabs the hem of my white blouse, it’s lose and my yellow bathing suit is sticking out of the top near my neck.
“Hold on there Chloe, how about we go for a walk? You can do some more rounds and we can talk. Ask me anything you want to know.” His suggestion is a good one, but I should stay focused. But also maybe be a little selfish on my part. I agree and we begin our stroll.
I soon forget how nervous Frankie made me originally. He explains that he settled in Florida after serving with the Special Forces during his time in the military. One of his brothers in arms recommended this gig to not only make some extra money but for him to get away from usual business back home. Morales said that it was nice not having to worry about gators at all.
We passed by Ezra’s Beach Shop and I said hello. That usually leads to at least a five minute description from the owner about everything that could have happened this morning. Today’s answer was not a ramble but succinct, curious, I asked him if anything was the matter and he replied there was not. Suddenly, two women pop up from under the counter which he was seated behind. One bumped her head and both stared at Frankie and I. They each kissed Ezra’s cheek and left him some money on the counter, carrying a small plastic bag each with them. About twenty dollars from each woman.
“Should I even ask if that’s the stuff you keep under the counter that they just paid for in addition to the small items they have?”
Ezra scratches the exposed part of his chest above where his tank top scoops down. He’s never not sweaty, to be fair it is hot. He stands and thankfully his dark green trunks are not disheveled. He gathers the money with his one hand and plops it in a lock box he has next the small register. “The ladies were sought out some shelter from the blistering sun and I did not have ample room under my umbrella. I did advise against going under the counter but that is what they chose.” He presses his palm on the counter and snickers, “As to why they left me such a large tip, I cannot say. You’re well acquainted with my gift of gab, they also could have taken pity on an unfortunate man such as myself.” His explanation is hot air, but he adds a wiggle of his right residual limb to add to his point.
I know there’s no merit in arguing with him, whatever happened, I didn’t see it directly. “Keep your tips to the monetary kind Ezra. I’ll be back.”
“And I will look forward to it my dear straight laced Chloe. Enjoy your time with your gentleman here. Maybe he’ll introduce you to a tip.” Ezra ends as we walk away.
Frankie looks back and the shopkeeper waves goodbye. “Seems pretty cheap for your tip there. Maybe they didn’t get enough bang for their buck.” His snicker makes me lean on the nearest tree in laughter while I hear Ezra click his tongue in annoyance.
I like Frankie even more, he managed to get the last word in on Ezra.

More Late Night Writings
The first time Darling met Neo, Gage really had forgotten something at home. He was still adjusting to the new job and schedule so he had to call or text Roomie to bring it by. Neo trips over himself when they meet, struck by their bold nature and confident smile- only to feel a weight on him when this amazing creature asks to see Gage. Later that day back at the apartment, eating whatever takeout they decided to pick up for both of them, Roomie asks about the cute guy at the front office making Gage almost choke on his food when he hears it. "Gross, you think Neo's cute?" Roomie laughing at his reaction, recognizing the name as the one Gage has come home saying he'd gotten in an argument with- again. There was def a conversation about asking Gage to make up scenarios where they have to go by his workplace now and again. "And what do I get out of it?" Gage would do it anyway, just to see Neo fumbling over his words in front of his crush was funny enough, but Roomie agreed to pay him back somehow. Home cooked meals, getting his favorite snacks on their way home, going out for the night with friends so he and Bug had the place to themselves for night- nothing unreasonable. That's his friend so it's not like he wouldn't help them get with someone they're interested in. Gage's ability to help get friends together is second only to Lauren.
Dion, with the help of the internet, has been taking over a lot of the cooking now and does pretty well. Bunny coming home to some nice home cooked meals so they and Dion can hang out and play games or watch movies, or even take a night stroll on the beach has become something they come to look forward to now. They still need to work out the contract part of their dynamic, but they feel safe and happy with the current arrangement, and want to give Dion something that he'd really love since they can't stay home all day every day. One day Bunny brings home a kitten for the flame demon. They explain that they will help care for the kitten since before Dion showed up they were considering getting a pet anyway (neglecting to mention details of maybe feeling lonely living in the house by themself before the demon showed up.) The wide eyed look asking if this is real and not some sick joke to mess with him makes it all worth while to Bunny to take on any extra responsibilities just to see Dion so happy to (almost) be brought to tears as he loves on the small cat talking about how soft its fur is to the gentle purring it emits as it rubs back against his warm skin. When the kitten is resting and Dion needs to set it down, he clings to Bunny, not able to thank them enough for the little pet that's now "ours", much like everything else in the house, it was shared at this point.
It's supposed to rain later in the day so no park to go to today. Instead Law and Sweets start setting up a tent in the backyard while the sun is still out. Gathering up a few books, lamps, and food, they bring Nat out to the tent to spend time together, telling stories like at campfires around the lamp, having laughs and sharing food as if it wasn't raining cats and dogs outside around them. Eventually Nat would fall asleep, little ones need their naps after all, and as she rested in a warm blanket Law tucked around her, the pair would cuddle on the other side of the tent, either reading their own things or whispering sweet nothings to the other as they listened to the rainfall. On another rainy day Sweets decides to let Law cook dinner and keep Nat preoccupied. Getting her dressed in her rainy day best, boots, coat, hat, they set out and splash in the mud, maybe find some frogs and catch them just to watch them hop away enjoying their best froggy life. Obviously they would need to give her a warm bath before any chill set in from the cold rain and sitting down for dinner. (Both these instances I have been in Nat's place and these are things I did either on my own or with my dad on his weekends, so took the ideas from a special place in my own heart) There's more but this is all I felt like spending time spellchecking and all the fun stuff of having written most of this on my phone today. Altair thank you as always for these lovely characters, they're always fun to think about in different scenarios. 💙

DREAM MEISTER & THE RECOLLECTED BLACK FAIRY
ELMA CHARACTER CARD #5
━
After working on the pamphlet with Elma for hours in the beach house, the sun was setting and the store was fixing to close. Just then, a lively group of women entered.
FEMALE CUSTOMER 1 : Ooh, look the beach house serves something called "Yakisoba?"
FEMALE CUSTOMER 2 : Ooh! I want something cold to drink!
FEMALE CUSTOMER 3 : Wait, look! The waiter is sooo handsome!
FEMALE CUSTOMER 4 : Wow, true! He's super frickin' hot!
ELMA : Welcome ladies! We've got the Yakisoba and drinks all ready for you! By the way, my fave is the Granita! They're delicious, so don't miss out!
FEMALE CUSTOMER 3 : Do you make all the food?
ELMA : Of course, I'll do my best to make it. What do you want?
FEMALE CUSTOMER 4 : What do I want? Well~ I want to play with you~♪
FEMALE CUSTOMER 1 : What time does the store close today? We should all go out and have some fun after!
FEMALE CUSTOMER 2 : Even if you only want me for one night!
ELMA : Hey, don't sell yourself short like that! Thanks for the compliments, it's real nice. But you shouldn't put yourself down.
EMMA : (Elma lecturing people...? What a rare sight.)
EMMA : (He's using kind words, but I can tell he's really upset by what the girl said...)
ELMA : Hey, if you wanna play with me, why don't we all go surfing! It's a totally fun way to hang out!
FEMALE CUSTOMER 1 : Oh, surfing? Isn't that a bit childish?
FEMALE CUSTOMER 2 : Seriously, no one surfs, do they?
FEMALE CUSTOMER 4 : I had something a little more "personal" in mind. I just got dumped, I'd rather go out to a bar.
FEMALE CUSTOMER 3 : Yeah, let's get out of here.
The women ended up leaving the restaurant in a huff without ordering anything else.
ELMA : Oops. I didn't mean to scare them off. Thanks, please come again!
EMMA : Jeez. They came in like a storm, didn't they? The way they were all talking loudly over each other...
ELMA : Hmm? Hahaha. That's a common thing in this business, isn't it? People say whatever they want and they don't care. If you worry about it, you lose customers.
EMMA : That might be true, but...Surfing is something you're really passionate about, Elma. It hurts to hear people make fun of it like that.
ELMA : .........
ELMA : THAT'S ENOUGH! I'm closing down shop right this second and going to the beach!! When things hurt, I go to the sea! Come on, Emma!
EMMA : What? Hey, wait up, Elma!? We need to lock up the shop!
Within minutes the two of us were strolling across the sandy beach, staring out at the raging waves. After walking a short distance, we took a moment to admire the beautiful sunset on the horizon.
ELMA : So, Emma, what'dya think? Didn't it make you feel a little better?
EMMA : ........?
ELMA : You looked so gloomy earlier. Those girls made you mad for my sake. I don't like when you feel that way. I want you to be happy.
EMMA : Elma...
ELMA : Your smiley face is the best!
EMMA : (I'm sure Elma must have felt bad too after they made fun of his passion...)
EMMA : Weren't you frustrated? To have them make fun of something you love so much?
ELMA : Yeah, I guess I was kinda frustrated, but I don't think they're right about surfing being childish. All it means is that I have to work harder and harder to make people realize how important surfing is! Their hate only reaffirms my beliefs and motivates me to keep working hard.
EMMA : I see.
ELMA : Thanks, though.
EMMA : Why are you thanking me?
ELMA : Well, ya see, having you defend me, it made me kinda happy. It means you really think this guild is going places.
EMMA : That may just be true. You sure are positive.
ELMA : That's my default, you know? I just wanna spread surfing to more and more people. So they can take it seriously.
EMMA : Is there anything I can do to help?
ELMA : Ah~ I might have an idea.
As the sun set over the ocean, Elma's dazzling face was illuminated by the golden rays. His typically friendly smile, looked somehow even more beautiful than before.

8:30pm a good day
woke up from dreams of hanging out with anthony, details are fuzzy but it was very narratively driven and fun. wanted to keep going after realizing it was dream and on the cusp of wake
meowu alarm for feeding ended up as snoozing on top of me
blanched extra kambocha, cut up and froze chives (make dumplings?)
realize it’s only 11am, miss anthony, text him
packed some, sorted and donated goods, very smooth process (the donating was causing stress for some reason)
last night, i realized i was understimulated and not having fun (the stress of finishing packing quickly so that i can enjoy my break), so today i promised myself that if i wasn’t feeling it, i would take a break and take myself to the beach or something. stopped by sherrys to pick up the gate key and hex key, took a little stroll and bought some ice creams (ice cream sandwich and creamy mango bar for me, coconut bar for sherry), watched the men’s olympic bouldering w/ sherry and mikey for a bit
went back home (yes, the key works!!), load up donations, car isn’t starting, try my best not to panic, go back inside to sort out stuff on the back patio. the tarp did a great job keeping things dry, but boxes are very dirty and nasty (won’t be an issue on 4th floor). bricks situation…tbd
go back out and try again, load up car with plants, car starts (yes!), take things to donate (the staff was very nice with cool acrylic glasses)
go to apartment, lie on the floor hungry, tired, and taking in the fact that the new space is mine now, and a new home. enjoy being “out of the house” of my old apt, daydream about living together/spending time with anthony in the new space, hit up julia to come see the place. lie on the floor some more, walk to get burrito and walk out just as julia calls and literally is right across the street (laundry).
take the stroll back, julia is stressed about her job presentation tomorrow, hear out her woes about her feeling stuck and friendless, share my own experiences of processing loneliness, problem-solving when understimulated, learning self-love (not second-guessing or gaslighting own feelings). we go to 85 to get julia’s long-awaited egg tarts
on the way, (i see soft orange/blue through beautiful clouds, and) 2 girls(?) pull up next to us and compliment on my collection of bumper stickers (“best thing we have ever seen,” “palestine,” “trans flag,” “[you don’t know us but] I love you,” shared joke about “real eyes,”) we both roll up windows and politely ignore each other at the stoplight lol. julia points out that the person in the passenger seat and i have the same haircut and glasses, haha. after buying some snacks and admiring the new ube cake, we see a new sanrio/plush store right next to 85, with huge windows and vow to come back
a relaxed drive back, julia says that she didn’t realize she was as stressed as she was until she started talking, decide that it’s mostly stress about her project tomorrow (more than anything else). i invite her to climb w/ us friday, we hug and say goodbye
come home, no response from gavriela (we had planned to chat today, but i postponed it), anthony asks to call, take a shower, put away 85 treats, present day, present time
meowu is on the bed w/ me, with her poor swollen nose and its sores 😿 will have to take her to the vet
all in all started restless, but ended a very full and eventful day

Wednesday, May 3 - Taipei to Xincheng (Taroko Gorge area)
We had another hearty breakfast at our hotel before heading back to the train station to begin our circuit around the island. We have learned to love Asian breakfasts as they usually include everything from curries and vegetables to miso soup to fruit and salad to breads and noodle dishes - you get the picture. The American style breakfast seems so limited in comparison. No need for lunch - we usually just try to do an early dinner and that's plenty of food for the day.
We had opted for the "fast" train, which while wasn't "high-speed", was faster than anything we have taken in the UK or the states. As a result, pictures out the windows were pretty difficult. We passed through a lot of Taipei sprawl with mostly older concrete highrises - concrete does not appear to weather well in this climate. We then followed a river valley into more rural areas, and out to the coast. Russ remembers a spectacular ride along the coast from when he was here in 1980, but today it is a lot of tunnels instead. Still, we made great time and got to Xincheng in the early afternoon. Our host picked us up at the station, which was good, since the location of our guesthouse is wrong on all the maps. They keep trying to get it changed, but can't get past the bureaucracy.
We are out in the country a bit (that's Russ in front in the third picture). Once we got settled, there wasn't enough time to go to the gorge ( we have two more days for that) so we walked back towards the old town (called Xiulin) and the beach. We passed a lot of banana plants and other crops, a very neglected cemetery, and a lot of little motor scooters, which seems to be the way to get around Taiwan for many folks.
The old town was mostly run-down a bit, although we stumbled upon a nice temple complex with a spectacular dragon in front, completely out of character with a basketball court and empty swimming pool nearby. At the end of the street we came to a newer seawall with these little creatures. The seawall is quite well- constructed with large bollards, a sloping seaward side and a walkway on the top. Very necessary, since the town here is quite low and vulnerable, especially during typhoon season. Parked just below the wall was a van that acted as a sort of bookmobile for English language books - it looked to be part of a volunteer organization throughout SE Asia.
We had just gotten to the end of the walkway and were headed back inland when we heard thunder and the heavens opened up. We stopped in the shelter of a nearby shrine (handy) to put on our ponchos and headed back, stopping eventually at a 7-Eleven to get some dinner and beverages for the evening, since our guesthouse is remote from town. As it turned out, we probably walked about 6 miles on our little "stroll".
After dinner, our host was eager to share some of the local history, and took us on a short auto tour to a nearby village. The Taroko Gorge is named for one of the 16 indigenous tribes of Taiwan, the Taroko, and our host is Taroko and was raised here, before marrying and moving to a larger city for most of his working life. He, his wife and his son moved back here when he "retired" and now run the guesthouse and also grow coffee and other crops on the property. His wife is of Chinese Han ethnicity, do he says it took three years to convince her family to let him marry her. The little town we visited has its own school, municipal buildings, church, legislature, etc. and it's obvious when you are in the town since there is a diamond motif everywhere. This is the symbol of the spiritual "eye" keeping a watch on everything. We learned a lot about the traditional culture, now pretty much gone, and later Lisa had us make little traditional bracelets from the seeds of a local grass. They're cute, but almost impossible to get off by oneself!
There is still a good chance of rain tomorrow but we are prepared and are planning to do a few hikes in the gorge. We will be able to take a bus from the train station (with a ride to there) and explore.

So I wrote a short thing at work today. Enjoy. I barely edited this, it's midnight, I for one accept any and all errors with open arms.
Professor Edward Laventon never asked for much growing up. A poor farmers' son, both by his birth parents and adopted parents. A fate of his, it seemed. He wore clothes adjusted to his size or hand-me-downs from family friends. He ate what he grew and he liked it or else he be labeled ungrateful and rude— or worse, starved. His families never had much truthfully. And Laventon was content with that. He was happy. He didn't mind one bit.
Until he met Cyllene.
He was still happy, yes. In fact, he was delighted. When he walked off that boat and first laid eyes on her, he felt a flutter in his chest. Like Butterfree dancing about in his chest cavity. It was something he'd never felt before, not from any of his previous partners. This was a first. And from then on, when he'd see his superior officer, the same sensation would occur.
For a year he couldn't figure it out, until one day, one cool morning in the fall of Hisui, it hit him. Cyllene sat talking to Ginter, curiously inspecting his new stock of mysterious wares. The sunlight beaming down on her face, making her shine, making her look so... Angelic.
Her beauty glowed. It melted the ever cold professor to a measly little puddle.
He couldn't figure it out. Why his feelings finally made obvious after so long. But regardless of why and when, Laventon couldn't bare keeping it to himself any longer. So he asked her to an evening meal.
It was... uncomfortable. Cyllene, he knew, wasn't a fan of eating in front of people. Yet she accepted his offer anyway. He hadnt thought properly. Laventon couldn't help but feel horrible for that, so he cut the public meal short, asking her where she would much prefer going.
So he took her to the shore.
The next evening, he took her again.
And the next.
And many, many more after that.
They shared their first kiss on that beach shore. The two no longer shivering in the chilly fall air, desperately pressed closed together in the moonlight, basking in each others warmth.
Before he knew it, Cyllene would link her arm with his as they walked through the village. He would walk her home and miss her at the door. The subtle flirting in the office. Her soft smile. She would call him her beau, she his sweetheart— and it made his heart soar.
Laventon doesn't require much to live or be happy. He isn't rich and doesn't wish to be. His office isnt big by no means, but its big enough for him. He doesnt need a thing.
Or does he? He wonders as he rolls the golden, dawn stone decorated band between his fingers. He sat at his kotatsu, pondering. Waiting. Cyllene had paperwork to deliver to the Commander. It was such a clear night, they thought it would be nice to take a midnight stroll.
And they were right. It was such a lovely night.
The waves gently hit the dock. Breeze gently tossling their hair, Laventon's hate off for once. The air was salty. Like home to Cyllene. It's why she loves it here. Her favorite spot in the entire region.
Cyllene stares up at the night sky, naming what constellations she knew. Laventon watched her dimples form every time she smiled. She fiddled with the hem of her sleeve, a habit he's noticed they share.
Laventon felt a tug on his heart. A feeling of longing.
He wanted this every night. Every day. He wanted to be the reason she smiled, the reason she laughed. He wanted to wake up next to her every single morning, even if it's because hes freezing cold, Cyllene having stolen the whole blanket off of him during the night. He didn't care when she stole food off his plate, he would gladly trade anything in the world for that to keep happening. How she took his shirts and used them as a gown after a night together. Nagged him for slouching. Applied medicine to his newest cuts and scrapes. Trailing fingers through his hair, across his chest. The odd way she held a quill. The specific way she folds her clothes. The half hour it takes to style her hair the way she likes it.
This poor farmer's boy knows what he wants now. What to ask for. His only request.
With a low groan in the back of his throat and pained pop in his knees, Laventon knelt down in the sand.

your birthday
Drabbles of Aizawa, Toshi, and Hound Dog celebrating your birthday.
These came out a little longer than initially planned. But that’s okay since these are birthday drabbles for @smutav @mrsvash and @rurounivash! I hope you guys have/had/will have a great, relaxing day, and thank you for all your support! (I also tried to tailor them a bit towards what you like and how you’d want to spend your day. I hope I did okay!)💙💙
Warnings: there is some smut in these
Aizawa Shouta
Wind and water washed; one brought a fine layer of salt across your skin; the other, a cold tidal flow over your feet. You walked into Shouta’s shoulder. He didn’t react until you did it again, trying to get away from the freezing water.
“Too cold?”
You hummed and nudged closer to his eternally high body heat. That same heat enveloped your hand, guiding you away from the tide. Gratefully, he didn’t chide your request for an evening stroll on the beach. Well, he sighed but hid any reluctance.
It wasn’t till most people cleared the area and you were nearing the exit that he halted, keeping you in the open, onshore winds. The tiny tilt of his eyebrows stopped you from questioning him. The simple, long bracelet box he pulled from his pocket turned your chills into a fluttering. Wrapping paper nor bows covered it. The only design was the imprint of the designer’s name.
Shouta mumbled over the mounting breeze, the smallest blush noticeable in the lowering light, “It’s not much. You didn’t give me any helpful ideas.”
“Because you didn’t need to get me anything.”
“Yes, I did. Here.”
Careful to not drop or let the wind take it, you accepted and opened the box. Inside, waiting on a velvet cushion, laid a rose gold bracelet. White gemstones, glittering from the waves and sun, decorated the braiding chains. It felt frosty yet loving under your fingertips. You exhaled, “Shouta… how much was this?”
“Don’t worry about that,” he scolded and returned the box to its pocket. Deft fingers aligned it around your wrist, easily linking the tiny clasps together. His hands stayed around yours, holding firm, displaying the bracelet between you. “Do you like it?”
Dark eyes waited, calm, almost concerned as you stared. It didn’t matter how tired they were, they always gave you so much love. And it didn’t matter how much he typically sucked at buying presents. This one was good, excellent, raising a laugh from your throat. You threw your arms around his neck. “It’s beautiful. Thank you.”
“I love you,” heated breath puffed along your jacket’s collar. Lips replaced it, gracefully skimming the hidden skin. His warmth perfectly offset the cold.
“I love you, too.” You withdrew to meet his eyes and whisper, “Let’s go home.”
He agreed with a kiss.
Once home, you sat with Sho on the couch, hunkering down for the rest of the evening for some wine, cuddling, and kissing. His question paused that: “Glasses?”
“Fuck.”
Before you could get up, he plucked the bottle of wine from your hands, popped the cork, and took a swig. He handed it back to you and watched as you mirrored his actions. Fewer dishes, you guessed.
He lounged back, leaving his chest wide open for you to rest against. The cracked window provided an excellent chilly breeze for snuggling up under a blanket. You curled up, legs on his lap, ready for relaxation.
The beginning of the movie was the only part you paid attention to. The hand drifting from your shoulder to your waist, slowly touching every part of you as it moved towards your thigh, pinching the bottom of your shorts, kept tugging at your thoughts. It would fondle its way back up, carelessly pulling up your shirt until it snapped back in place.
Forty minutes into the movie, he presented you with another box: same color, same style as before, just smaller. With lips flushed to your temple, in a deep, doting tone, he whispered, “Open it.”
As you did, his kisses traveled to your cheek then neck. Propped inside were earrings, mimicking the angelic rose gold and white of the necklace. You sighed at his lips and gift, “Shouta, they’re beautiful… thank you.”
“Put them on,” he hummed just before biting your collar bone.
Stuck between laughing and moaning, you did. And he immediately removed your shirt after, kissing behind your ears, kneading your sides. You gripped the back of his shirt, wanting it gone, but as per usual, he didn’t listen, choosing to unclasp your bra next. Teeth returned to your neck. Something thin and cold accompanied them.
Sho sat back exposing your front to the nippy air. He stared at your chest. You looked down. A necklace hung, gleaming and gorgeous, pink and white. You smiled at his lunky gift giving. “You could've just given them to me all at once, you know?”
He shrugged and slid off his shirt. You leaned back as he came forward. Lips landed on yours hard, firm, just like his body did, weighing you into the cushions. He propped up on his elbows, staring at the necklace.
“I can take it o-”
“No. It stays on,” he droned, coming back down for a kiss. Your palms flattened along his sides. Your legs spread for him to settle much closer, properly close, wonderful for grinding, and exactly where you wanted him the rest of the evening.
Yagi Toshinori
It was already noon. You didn’t expect a call at six a.m. sharp, but you imagined he’d call before noon, at least, or send a text, a picture, an emoji, something to show you he remembered. No, you knew he remembered. He always did. He was probably just busy teaching the next generation of Heroes and all.
Something closed. You froze, listening, wondering if you imagined it. The faint shuffling told you, you didn’t. You hurried out of the bedroom to see Toshinori waiting, holding a bouquet of flowers. He sang, “Happy birthday, sweetheart.”
“What are you doing home? I thought you had to stay on campus till tomorrow.”
“I finished early.” He set the stuff down and collected his welcome-home hug. “Well, I convinced Nezu I could finish my work from home, and since tomorrow is a training day, I have an extra day to finish.”
“Thank you.” You latched tight, nuzzling against his jacket. The thought of spending your birthday alone wasn’t the worst thing, but it wasn’t the best. You mumbled, “I thought you forgot.”
“I would never.” He pulled away and rubbed the back of his neck. “However, I, uh, I wasn’t prepared to celebrate today. I couldn’t find a reservation for tonight. I tried a bunch of different places, but they were all booked. I’m sorry, I tried.”
“That’s alright, Toshi. I’m fine staying in.” You hugged him again, adding, “I hate when they sing to me. Home is perfectly fine.”
He kissed the top of your head with a laugh. He stroked your back, slow and firm, keeping his lips pressed to you, occasionally whispering sweet sappiness. Yeah, this was much more preferable than spring the day alone.
“I’ll cook you something, anything. What do you feel like?”
“Dunno. Doesn’t really matter.”
“You have no ideas?”
“No. Let’s just order something.” You really didn’t want to let him go. Feeling him in your arms was much more pleasurable than anything else.
“Alright. What do you want?”
“Dunno.”
“You’re not helping me.”
“Surprise me.”
In thirty minutes’ time, someone knocked on the door. Toshi paid, thanked them, and returned to the couch, bearing a brown paper bag. Inside was your very early dinner of chocolate chip pancakes and fresh fruit. The last thing he withdrew was a milkshake. “It’s cake batter. I figured if you lacked a cake, this was the next best thing.”
“Thank you,” you chuckled.
The meal was enjoyed in a simple, snuggling silence, watching Tv with a kiss here or there. The syrup added a tasty sweetness to his lips, something you kept going back for during commercial breaks.
You didn’t want to break the cuddle. It was Toshi who eventually did. He retrieved your jacket and held it out for you.
“What’s this for?”
“This day may not have been the most exciting, and I feel like I was underprepared, but I do have an idea for your present.”
“Toshi, you don’t need to get me anything. You’ve done more than enough for me.”
“I know, but I want to treat you to something. Come on.” Toshi led you outside and down the street.
The late afternoon air provided a blissful breeze and contentment. People were sparse, allowing you the comfort to hold his hand. Though the occasional glance made you tuck into his side until they passed. He never mentioned it; he simply squeezed your hand and continued the walk.
Just when you began to question if there was an actual destination, he steered you towards the computer store you frequented. Inside was just as barren as out. You guessed he picked a good time for shopping, if that was what this was about. And since you were still left in the dark, you questioned him, “What’s this about, Toshi? I don’t need anything from here.”
He scratched his jaw. “When you were talking about the parts you wanted for your, uh… hard drive… motherboard, processor… thing, I was more than a little confused. Instead of buying the wrong thing, I’ll let you pick it out. I know it isn’t much of a surprise this way, but I wanted it to be useful to you. So, go pick!” he chimed, throwing his hands out in front of him.
“Toshi, this stuff is expensive. You don’t-”
“I want to. Go pick some things, and don’t you dare look at the price.”
Encouraged by his smile, your hesitations vanished, and you all but skipped to your desired isle. A hard drive adapter and mounting bracket caught your eye. Plus, they were cheap: thirty dollars at most.
You tried to move on from the next thing that piqued your interest. Yet, the box kept calling your name. You picked it up to read the back.
Toshi came up beside you. “What’s that?”
“It’s a motherboard.” You showed him the label, Gigabyte Z590 AORUS Elite Intel LGA 1200 ATX Motherboard, and explained, “It could run with my Corsair ram with the Intel 10700k. It’s supposed to be easy to overclock and stable on air.”
“Oh, that sounds very nice, sweetie,” confusion faltered his voice. Bewildered or not, he still kissed your temple, murmured his love, and took the items.
“Toshi, I wasn’t planning on getting it.”
“Well, I am.” He smiled and, despite your very vocal doubts, bought them.
You hugged his arm the entire way home, eager for your presents and craving some more cuddles.
Hound Dog
Through the tiniest crack in the shades, light beamed directly into your eyes. You rolled over and snuggled into the blankets. The day could wait…
Apparently, Ryo didn’t think so. The door squeaked open. The bed creaked as he crawled behind you, funneling heat across your body and fur nuzzling your neck. His ridiculously gigantic hands thwarted your attempt to wiggle away. You fussed his name, just wanting to sleep more.
“It’s almost noon.”
“Hng.”
“Time to get up.”
“Why?”
“I made breakfast. Come on.”
“No,” you whined into the pillow. You should be allowed to sleep in on your-
“Fine.” With a chest-filled growl, arms circled and heaved you out of bed, comforter included. You gripped his bicep amid the whiplash. The swirling ceased once he plopped you on the couch, bundled in your blanket, surrounded by pillows. None of which you could lie on since all were fur-coated and staticky.
“Breakfast,” he introduced, placing two plates down with a mix of breakfast quesadillas, muffins, patatas bravas, yogurt, and avocado and eggs. It appeared like he just made whatever he could think of. Not that you were complaining. It all smelled and looked amazing.
“Eat quickly.”
“Why? Do we have plans?”
“No,” he grumbled and sat beside you, his right leg bouncing. He gave you no more information and dug in. You did as well, thanking him for and appreciating the big birthday breakfast.
And all the way through the meal, his leg never stopped. Sometimes, he’d shift in place, or twitch, but his leg just kept going.
“Are you-”
“Time for your gifts.” He jumped up and disappeared into the hall. You wiped your hands and mouth clean in time for a giant gift bag and a present to fall into your lap. He was certainly rushing his way through this.
You blinked at the present. There was no way in hell he wrapped it. The huge, purple bow was tied neat and even, enclosing pink and blue wrapping paper, perfectly folded and taped down. It looked like a picture, not his actual doing.
And your face must have said it all because he gruffed, “I kept ripping the damn paper. Vlad wrapped it for me. Now open it.”
You’d have to thank Vlad next time you saw him. The ribbon released easily and the paper slid off quickly. You stared, smiling at the box of fine-tipped inking pens. It included nine of different sizes and one brush pen. Every time you thought about buying them, you talked yourself out of it. He must have remembered you mulling it over one of the few dozen times.
Wet heat licked your cheek. His nose pressed to you after, cooling the spot down. “Is it the right one?”
“The exact one. Thank you.” You kissed his muzzle, running your nails along the length of it and between his eyes. An odd grumble came from his throat. Judging from his calm, closed eyes, it was a happy grumble. You pressed a few kisses to his cheek, wanting to listen to the husky rumbles.
Ryo’s eyes opened, surprisingly remaining content, and he tapped the gift bag. “This next.”
This one was most definitely done by him; ripped tissue paper was shoved into the top, littered with holes from pointy claws. You laughed as you pulled it out. Strays pieces of tape somehow made their way inside, sticking paper to your skin.
Eventually, you found the presents: two t-shirts, a wearable blanket, and a deshedding brush. You held the last item up in a silent question.
“You always complain about my hair everywhere. This will fix that.”
You rolled your eyes and thanked him. He lapped at your cheek again, choosing to frisk down to your neck. His heavy hands tugged you onto his lap, sending tissue and wrapping paper falling to the floor. Fingers felt around your shirt. You gasped when they clamped on your side’s sensitive skin.
“Ryo-” You shuddered at their increasing strength. He didn’t really know how to fondle passionately. It was more like prodding and pricking to him. You panted, “I haven’t showered today or anything.”
“You do that once I’m done with you.” Teeth clamped on your shoulder, not enough to draw blood or pain, yet solid enough to lock you in place. His tongue, solid and way too hot, aimlessly dragged along thin skin.
His embrace kept you from wiggling away. Not that you really intended to. A day home with Ryo was such a scarce thing you valued so highly. You’d take anything at this point…
Especially since that anything was his fingers shoving into your shorts. Like the rest of him, they wasted no time and slipped inside you, steadily and sturdily caressing your front wall. Your body was hardly awake, making it considerably more responsive to his intense touch.
“Ryo, fuck-” Your breath caught at digging teeth. His palm pressured your clit, grinding, near jerking, giving you no preparation for your speedy orgasm. You gripped his wrist, closing your thighs on his hand, holding him in place.
His arm muscled its way out so he could lick his fingers, smirking and rumbling, clearly delighted.
Once again, he heaved you up, comforter included, and carried you back to bed. But this time, he threw you down and crawled atop, not letting you catch your breath because his tongue replaced where his fingers were.
Your shower was a long ways away.

Soulmate Au Part 3
Part 1 and Part 2 are here! Requests for the Adult trio are open!
WARNING DUB-CON AND EXPLICIT SMUT +18 Please do not te upload somewhere else!!
You started to suspect something was wrong with you when you walked deep into the forest, looking to harvest the crops. Your mind screamed at you to keep walking. Walk away from this place and leave them behind. The minute your feet took one step forward, the most intense migraine struck you. You tried to walk forwards and work through the pain, but it became too debilitating to the point your legs gave under you, and your body crumbled to the ground.
Your eyes clenched close, and your body tucked in into a fetal position, your hands clutching your shirt in hopes it would lessen the pain. Suddenly, you heard a rustle behind you, but couldn't really be bothered to turn and look at the disturbance.
"Oh, here you are. I was worried something might have happened" Chrollo came from behind a tree, his coat gracefully moving as he came to stand before your crippled form.
He sat down beside you taking your body into his lap. His hands stroke your hair as tears came down from your eyes.
"(Y/N), this is such a nice and peaceful place you've built" his voice was so calm, and his hands went through your locks with such comfort that you were calming down for a second.
He took a deep breath, eyes close with a smile as if truly enjoying the quiet and the light breeze blowing through. Chrollo leaned down close to you, your body shaking in pain still. His hands petted away a couple of strands of your hair as his lips came close to your ear.
"You weren't thinking of leaving now, were you?"
The tone of his voice made the question feel like a gentle threat. But a threat nonetheless. He kissed your temple and kept running his hands through your hair, breathing in once more, smiling at the sunbeams coming through the leaves and shining down on the two of you.
"I am delighted you have decided to stay with us. It would have broken all our hearts to know you weren't happy here" he looked down at your form, no longer distressed but still slightly shaking and sniffling.
"You are happy here, are you not?"
You nodded weakly in response, and he beamed at you. He picked you up gently, bridal style, while his hand carried the woven basket underneath you.
"Let's go, I'll prepare dinner tonight. Just the two of us, little treasure. All is well".
Chrollo brought you all the way to the cottage, filling the air with casual banter along the way. His excitement grew whenever the prospect of a new book came into the conversation.
"It's very eloquent poetry. I am sure it'll sound melodic coming from your lips".
Chrollo walked into the cottage with you still in his arms. The other two were nowhere to be seen, and it confirmed what he had said: you two were truly alone. Chrollo settled you on the sofa, your fluffy cat meowing around his legs. He crouched to pet the cat's head.
"What are you craving today, love?" Your eyes were close, dried tear streaks under them, but you opened them to see him smiling warmly at you while still petting your cat.
"Chef's choice," you replied simply, trying a smile of your own, but it came out more like a grimace.
"Mmm, hard choice, I'll surprise you then" he gave your forehead a kiss and moved away from your vision line.
After leaving you on the sofa, Chrollo had draped his coat over the chair, washed his hands, and got everything ready for the food. Your eyes were droopy, body tired after your horrific headache, so you drifted off into a nice comfy nap.
A fantastic smell wafted around the house, waking you up to find you have drooled on the decorative pillow. Chrollo was in front of you, smiling at your cute and sleepy face.
You shot up, looking around as if you weren't in your house, and you didn't know who was in front of you. Then it all came back, the realization hit you, and you wiped the drool with the back of your hand. Chrollo chuckled at you and got up to kiss the top of your head, lingering for a second, hugging you to him.
“Dinner is ready, come on love."
A bit disoriented and groggy, you got up and went to the table. Everything was set up with candles surrounding the dinner table and the kitchen. A single rose in a vase was in the middle of the table, the same vase that you had changed the flowers that fateful day they had found you. Chrollo was waiting beside the chair he had pulled out for you. He had a proud smile as you went to sit at the chair, and he gently pushed you in. The whole thing was adorable, and it would have been romantic if you weren't wary of the man. He sat down as well and was looking at you with loving eyes. You pretended he wasn't fixed on you as you took the first bite out of your food.
"I hope it's to your liking. I had never made this one before" he had ended up making your favorite dish, and you were happy to have it; the food was truly delicious.
The fact that he knew your favorite dish shouldn't give you the feeling of dread, and yet it did. You knew the trio had most undoubtedly memorized everything about you, no matter how small the detail was. Still, you couldn't wrap your head around the idea.
"It's delicious, thank you" you forced a smile at him, and he chuckled under his breath, looking down at his own plate.
"You don't have to pretend with me (Y/N). I'm not Hisoka or Illumi; I'm a simple thief but a gentleman at heart. I know you're uncomfortable, and this situation is new to you. I don't blame you".
You looked down to your plate, feeling a bit embarrassed that he noticed your inner turmoil. His words should have offered comfort, but you couldn't feel it or find any. Instead, they further pushed down the heavy stone in your stomach.
"I-I don't know how to feel, still. I'm adjusting, trying to at least" you took another bite and gave him a close-lipped smile as you chewed the food.
Chrollo's dark eyes pierced yours; he wasn't buying it.
"Then perhaps we haven't fully helped you experience love in this relationship," he gave you a closed eye smile and took a mouthful of the food.
You felt shivers run up your spine, body tingling in fear and dread as if you were at the dropping point of a big coaster ride. Your heart beat faster to the point where you started hearing it in your ears.
The door seemed like an excellent option right now.
Your hands went under the table to grip the edge of the chair as you tried to ground yourself back into the moment. 'He didn't say anything. He just made a suggestion with a smile', you told yourself, looking for the logic in his words, and calming yourself. But it wasn't working, you had felt it. Felt the tiniest flare of his aura reach out to you in silent warning. Nothing big but just enough to put you back into place. There were so many meanings behind that little jesting phrase that it made you anxious.
"Are you alright? You seem a little pale" he placed his utensil down, getting out of the chair and crouching near you.
His cold hand reached to your cheek, caressing you and making you look down at him.
"Perhaps some air will do you good," he grabbed both your hands in his and pulled you up and out of the chair.
You were in a slight daze watching him as he placed a coat around you and dressed in his own. Chrollo exited the cottage with you around his arm. The two of you looked like a loving couple taking a stroll in the middle of winter.
As you walked into the forest, passing by trees and bushes taking in the sights under the moonlight, Chrollo pulled a book from inside his coat and handed it to you. You took it. Still, a bit shook but figured some reading might do you good.
"I borrowed it," the way he said borrow told you he meant stole "figured you might like it" he side-eyed you as your doe-like eyes looked up to him in question.
You looked down at the cover seeing it was a very elusive limited edition copy of one of your favorite authors. Your heart skipped a beat, and for once in a long while, you were pleasantly surprised and excited. Your lips pulled into an unconscious smile, and by the time you had noticed you were smiling and tried to hide it with a serious look, Chrollo had already smiled and locked the sight in his mind. You looked precious.
"Why don't you read it out loud. I'm sure it's a good night for some reading if you don't mind?" His suave and smooth voice questioned, but you knew better than to resist him.
So you nodded, muttering a thank you. He nodded back, closing his eyes briefly and then looking back at you with expectation. You opened the first page and started to read the prologue as the two of you walked. Your lips never stuttering a word as you got lost in the story, pulled into it to the point were you forgot his eyes on you.
Chrollo was looking around the trees, admiring the majestic scenery as your words filled the nightly air. He knew your tone was hesitant and scared. You hated reading out loud and especially to him. You'd told him it was something about the sound of your voice in your ears. But he loved it. The way you pronounced or mispronounced words made his heart flutter. How your tone changed when you got lost in the narrative and started muttering small comments for the characters under your breath. Your little mannerisms made you adorable in his eyes, and the more he looked at you, the more he wanted.
He wasn't satisfied.
At the beginning of his relationship with Hisoka, there were some bumps he had to overcome when it came to the clown. But once he did, he could say he came to love the jester. When Illumi came into the picture as his second soulmate, he was a bit surprised. He, at some point, even doubted the assassin could actually be capable of emoting or loving. But one night, when they were all together tucked away in a vacation home right in front of the beach, he realized something about themselves.
He was sitting on a comfy armchair sofa in the balcony, book in hand, a glass of wine resting on its wooden arm. The sun was setting as cliche as it may sound, but his eyes rested on the page's words. When suddenly, he felt a head fall on his lap.
Assuming it was Hisoka, he didn't even glance down in hopes of secretly riling him up. Though curiosity got the better of him, so his eyes did glance down, and he was surprised. On his lap, long black hair fanned across it, was Illumi with his eyes close and a peaceful expression on his face.
Chrollo's heart fluttered.
He felt his cheeks heat up as he stole glances of the assassin. He almost closed the book, but he was afraid the sound would shake the scene and make the Illumi leave. So he kept pretending to read, not being able to fully concentrate with the comforting weight of Illumi on his lap.
They bonded after that, growing closer together. Hisoka was proud of them. The troupe had always been his family but getting to feel this kind of love was different.
That's when he realized soulmates were meant to be together for a reason. So when your name appeared on their skin out of nowhere, he knew they had to find you. You were not being loved as you should. That's why he understands your apprehension and your wariness of them. They're not exactly good in lawful standards, and their moral compasses might be slightly broken. But if there's one thing they know for sure, loving you is one of their main goals.
You just need to see it.
"As soon-"your reading got interrupted by a pair of lips on yours.
Chrollo's hands grabbed both sides of your face and brought you close for a fevered kiss. The book fell out of your hands as they came to rest on his arms.
"I couldn't resist," he mumbled out of breath against your lips. You, on the other hand, were freaking out a bit.
The fact that you were in the middle of a clearing in the forest was making you anxious. Chrollo dived in again, looking for your lips, but you turned your face away bashfully. You looked down to the grass seeing the book and bending down to pick it up as if he hadn't just kissed away your breath.
He was a bit hurt, but he had to remember that you weren't like them. You needed a little more coaxing to come out of your shell. He would help.
You straightened, inspecting the book for any creases or tears in the pages. You dusted away some dirt, closing the book delicately and looking up at Chrollo.
You frowned at the sight. Not that it wasn't a pleasant one, he was handsome and pretty, but you weren't buying it. At some point, you were pretty sure you were in soulmate denial.
"What are you doing?" You asked meekly, seeing as he had shaken away his coat and was shirtless at the moment.
Your fight or flight sense was glaring up, and you hugged the book to your stomach. Chollo placed his coat in the grass, open as if it was a picnic blanket. He turned to eye you, his eyes no longer cold.
"I know you're afraid, but there's nothing to be afraid of. Let me show you just how much I love you," that was your cue.
He took a step, and you mirrored him taking one back. This made him slightly tilt his head to the side, the look playfully menacing. Chrollo took another step and your nen flared up in warning, this time stronger than the last time you had tried this. He looked proud instead of intimidated, and it angered you.
The loving way he looked at your nen didn't help your case, and so you attacked. Your nen moved fast, striking the spot where he was. But he was fast, as quick as Hisoka, and that was a disadvantage to you.
Chrollo had suddenly disappeared and left you in the middle of the clearing. You leaned down to quickly put the book out of harm's way and then stood in attention. The moon shone brightly on you, giving your dangerous look and angelic glow. He could've groaned and moaned out loud just like Hisoka would've done, but he bit his lip instead, looking at you through the foliage.
Your ears were strained, searching for any noise as little as it may be. But there was no noise when he came, fast and swift bringing you down. The two of you rolled around on the grass, he chuckled as you winded up, straddling him. Your face scrunched up in concentration. His hand lifted to your cheek, caressing it, which made you flinch for a second. Chrollo then flipped the two of you, causing you to shriek at the suddenness. He pinned down your wrists, bringing them beside your head. Your wide-eyed looked at him startled, yet something was growing in your stomach's pit.
"You're getting better. Illumi should be proud," he leaned down, bringing his lips close to your ear. "Your nen is worth stealing, I wouldn't mind, if it meant keeping you as well" he bit your earlobe, making you bite your lips.
You tried to wriggle your wrists out of his hold, but his hands tightened around them. Chrollo started kissing your neck, nibbling and sucking his way down your collarbone. Still, you kept muffling your noises, biting your lip, and holding your tongue.
He wouldn't have it. Chrollo bit down in between your neck and shoulder, making you moan loudly.
"That's more like it," he chuckled against the spot soothing it with a lick and kiss, "Do you think I could steal some more noises from your lips?" He asked, bringing his lips close to yours.
"Would you let me?" You could feel his breath on your lips as he talked.
Chrollo kissed you hard, tongue poking your entrance and biting your lower lip so you wouldn't deny him. He sucked on your tongue, relishing in your futile attempts to keep quiet. His hips started grinding slowly into yours, pressing down his hard-on on your clothed spot. He was only wearing his pants, back and chest bared under the moonlight and shining with a thin layer of sweat. He separated for some air, leaving you a bit dazed and fuzzy. His hands coming down to your clothes gripping your shirt and tugging at it. That jerked you up from your state, making you gasp, your hands coming to his own grabbing them. You tried to pull them away from you, but he took both of your wrists in one of his hands and pinned them hard on the ground.
You groaned at the slight pain, and he took the opportunity of your raised arms to slide the shirt up and jumble it around your hands in makeshift bounds. He smiled down at your bra and the way your brows scrunched up in struggle. Your fight was strong, but he was stronger.
Chrollo leaned down to your chest, kissing the curve of your breast pressed on the bra. He bit down on the mound, making you groan.
"You're so soft, so beautiful," he whispered to your chest as his hand slipped the breast out of the bra. He massages the nipple, head dipping, and licking the other to attention. You started squirming under him, bringing your tied hands to stop him but ended up hugging his head closer to your chest, a moaning mess.
A fire was rising in between your legs, and you felt the electricity go down your spine.
'What were they doing to you?!' You screamed in your mind trying to fight the feeling.
Chrollo's hand left your mound, his mouth kept sucking on the other, as he sneaked down to your waistline. You had been wearing a comfortable attire since it was a bit hot, and you were tending to the crops today before your accident. He easily slipped down and into your panties. His calloused and experienced hands didn't waste any time and felt your slit. He smirked when he found you wet, but not enough for him. Chrollo gathered some slick and gently rubbed on your hooded pearl. You jerked under him, muffling a moan by biting your lip. His lips left your peak, glistening and wet under the dim moonlight. He went to the crook of your neck, inhaling your scent, and planting open-mouthed kisses as his other hand maintained a steady rhythm on your nub. He didn't change the speed, going in gentle circles on your bundle of nerves.
You were getting desperate, feeling the pleasure rising in you, and pushing shame to the back of your mind. Your hips bucked unconsciously, and he tutted you like a child, smiling in victory against your neck with closed eyes.
"Tch, tch, tch, not yet, I think you deserve some punishment for being so stubborn with me" he bit your earlobe, making you whine in response.
Your body struggled against him, but he let his weight drop on you, making you stay still. Chrollo's hand then went quicker and quicker, driving you deep into pleasure but not all the way. You whined again, trying to move away from his hand, but he went faster. Suddenly you felt the ice-cold rush from the tip of your toes to your core, pleasure flooding your system like a wave. Your body shook under his, toes curling, and you let out a moan closing your eyes at all the sensations.
Chrollo groaned with you, his pants too tight for comfort. He grinned against you softly and sat up, still straddling you. In your high, you didn't felt as he pulled the rest of your clothes down and his arousal out, the tip an angry red as he stroke it, shuddering under the feeling. He then pushed into you, making you gasp and open your eyes wide to the see him. His eyes closed, and he bit his lip briefly. Then his dark eyes opened slowly, looking down at you in adoration. His mouth was slightly opened, breathing heavily at the feeling of your warmth engulfing him. Hair was falling sideways and forwards, almost covering the cross on his forehead. The light glowing behind him gave him a surreal look and feel.
It was euphoric.
You moaned, and he started moving slowly, leaning over you to capture your lips as he sped up. His hands were beside your head, supporting his body as he rocked with you. He rested on his forearms, bringing himself closer to you as he changed speed and slowly rolled his hips, making you feel everything.
"I love you so much," he whispered into your cheek, kissing it afterward.
Chrollo groaned lowly when he bumped into a special spot that made you clench hard around him. You moaned.
"Found it," he chuckled low, speeding up and hitting the same spot over and over.
Your hips buckled, meeting his as he sat up. He gave you a half-lidded look, smiling at you. His hands came to rest on your hips, pressing them down as he rammed inside you. He couldn't take how good you felt, your same walls gripping him and becoming him deeper. He complied, going faster and deeper, making you moan and whine. Chrollo's hand sneaked to your hooded pearl, rubbing it at matching speed with his thrusts.
Your body jerked, heat, and cold consuming you at equal measure. Your body glistened with sweat under the moonlight, making you glow and shine like a jewel worth stealing. Chrollo bit his lip at the picture, wishing he could just have it to look at it all the time. Instead, he committed it to memory, his hand rubbing your nub furiously.
Suddenly your body arched beautifully, your breasts offered to him as you came with a shriek. Pleasure flooded you, making you twitch and shake. He joined you with a groan, head thrown back as his body arched as well, driving his length deep inside you, releasing all of himself into you. Your walls massage him as he thrusts slowly.
The two of you panted heavily.
Chrollo's hands were beside your head, supporting his body as he caught his breath. He looked down at you, your skin looking perfect under the lighting, your lips puffy and slightly opened as your naked chest heaved, making your breasts move up and down. You looked gorgeous, and he couldn't ask for more. He was satisfied, and a sense of fullness filled him at the moment.
He pulled out, making your face scrunch up in pain at the slight discomfort of the tenderness. Tucking himself back in his pants, he zipped them up and laid down beside you. He undid the mess around your wrists, and you pulled them down beside your body, resting the aching muscles. His head was supported on his hand as he laid on his side, looking at you in love. Your eyes were closed, and you seemed to be calm, almost sleeping.
His fingers came to lay on your stomach. The ginger touch made you jump slightly at the suddenness, but otherwise, your eyes remained closed. They moved around your form, tracing your marks, your waves, the way your mounds curved into your chest, your collarbone, and finally, they came to rest on your neck. He caresses it with the back of his hand, coming up to your cheek and staying there.
You opened your eyes slightly, looking at him through a tired glaze. Chrollo smiles warmly, coming close to peck your lips. He pulled the coat around your form, covering you from the night's chill, and gathered you in his arms.
Chrollo stopped to pick up the book you had neatly placed away from the mess and chaos. Smirking at your thoughtfulness. He gave you the book or at least propped it on your stomach as your sleepy form was losing the fight. He carried you all the way back to the cottage, where he placed you on the bed. You turned to the side, and he petted your hair, kissing your head. He came back to put the leftover food away and the dishes in the sink, making sure to turn off the candles. Your cat was eagerly following him like he had treats in his pockets.
Chrollo went back to the room, taking off the rest of his clothes and stripping you of this coat. He draped it on your vanity, the rest of the clothes scattered in a corner of the room. Your fluffy black cat went to them, kneading the fabric and then laying on top.
Chrollo pulled the covers back and brought you close to him, pulling the two of you under the sheets. He snuggled closer to you, the two of you naked as the day you were born. He pressed a kiss to the back of your ear, nuzzling your neck afterward and then resting on top of your head.
"Sleep well, my love," mutters, and you reply with your own muffled and unintelligible goodnight. He smiled, closing his eyes in bliss.
He couldn't wait for the morning to do it all over again.

In a Star Crossed yet Forbidden Love With Them
Oki allow me to explain.
This will be a sort of universe alteration or what I have seen online, a UA for Nezha himself. It's already suspected that Ao Bing probably wouldn't be allowed to have a human lover, but for the sake of this scenario it will be official.
For Nezha, I don't think anything had been said in the movie, but the same will apply to him in this scenario.
So of course, reader will be human for both bois
For the star crossed one, it's already obvious, but it's basically soulmates.
Or at least it is in my eyes-
If that is clear enough, I shall proceed :p
-=-=-=-
Nezha
He knew a part of his soul had finally returned to him the moment he laid eyes on you. It was by chance, but he took it with all six hands. Nezha felt such nostalgia when you stared at him in remembrance, from a past life when you were once together.
The both of you held each other in a tight embrace, as if you would fuse back together if you squeezed tight enough. "I remember you." Was the most used sentence at that moment, as well as a tired mumble from Nezha himself.
"You just had to be reborn a human, huh?"
---
It didn't take long for you to learn about each others current lives, but the anxiety of what the Heavens would do to Nezha if they found out about your relationship clouded your mind.
Nezha noticed this as you two sat in the courtyard of the Li Residence. He carefully held your hand, grabbing your attention.
"Hey, don't worry about me, (Y/n). I'm the strongest immortal there is!" You watched in amusement as he stood up and placed his fists on his hips. "I'll even fight Yuanshi Tianzun himself if it means we'll stay together!" You couldn't help but stifle a laugh, standing up as well.
"I'll admit, that would be a sight for sore eyes, but let's not give me a heart attack, okay?" You smiled against his cheek. Nezha chuckled, moving your chin so that you were kissing his lightly chapped lips as he rested a hand on your hip.
You pulled away a few seconds later, resting your chin on his shoulder. "I don't want to lose you in this life either." You mumbled into his neck, but Nezha heard it perfectly. A frown replaced his earlier smile, and he placed a hand on your back.
"You won't lose me, I promise you that."
"Hopefully in our next life, we won't be as misfortunate." You dramatically sighed when you moved back from the hug. Nezha rolled his eyes, "But for now, we'll make it work." You added, pulling the amused immortal in for another kiss.
"Nezha, what are you doing with a human?!"
Ao Bing
If you were honest, you kinda scared the crap out of each other.
You were trying to catch fish for dinner, but you ended up catching Ao Bing.
It's an understatement to say that you were surprised.
He was tangled in the web, staring at you with those alarmed baby blue eyes of his, before they crinkled with recognition. Your heart lurched in realization as you quickly helped him out of the net.
You smiled up at him, practically beaming when he smiled back.
"Hey there, other half!" You rocked back and forth on your heels, marveling at his long horns. Ao Bing chuckled, "Hello, my dear." He held out his hand, which you gladly held, and you two strolled along the beach.
It was silent between you two, but you didn't need words to show how much you missed each other. The occasional rubbing of his thumb across the back of your hand and you lightly swinging your intertwined hands was enough.
After collecting sea shells and watching the tide pools together, you decided to simply sit in the sand. Of course, Ao Bing took off his robe and had you wear it before you sat down. You were amazed by how soft and warm it was, it was also incredibly roomy and kept the sand from touching you.
Ao Bing sat beside you and you watched as the clouds passed beneath the full moon. It was nice, definitely more peaceful than the nights in the village.
"How will this work?" You spoke up, causing Ao Bing to look your way. "I know about the dragons and their strict no cross-mating rule. If they found out about us, they'd force you to marry another dragon. I don't even want to think about what would happen to me." You muttered the last bit, nuzzling deeper into the robe.
Ao Bing stared at the sand, before he released a sigh. "I don't know what will happen, but I won't let anyone lay an ill hand on you. Not after we finally found each other again." He clenched his fist at the mere thought, looking back at you with creased brows.
"Can I... Can I hug you?" He hesitantly asked.
You looked over, slowly nodding. In no time, he had you in a comforting side hug, full of warmth and safety. This was right, you had declared in your mind, this was supposed to happen. You leaned against him, and you both relaxed to the sound of the waves.
"What's this? Third Son Ao Bing with a human? Wait until Ao Guang hears about this.."

There we go!
I might also do a Nezha Reborn scenario today before I burn out ✌

Before Meeting Him
You and your boyfriend, Daniel, had a steady relationship. Growing up together and ending up going to the same schools, it was like you guys were destined to be together. You were best friends until one day he asked you out and decided to change your title to his “girlfriend”.
You were seated next to him in the first period as he turned his head to face you.
“I heard there’s a new transfer student in our class” he informed you, causing your eyebrows to shoot up. Students rarely changed schools in the beginning of the senior year, so you got curious about the new presence in your class.
He entered the classroom on his first day, dressed in a black hoodie in contrast to his bleached hair but matching his black jeans. Every clothing he put on that day was black except for the four silver rings he put on his hands. He stood next to your teacher and introduced himself to the class. Despite his dark style, he introduced himself with a bright smile that caught your attention for a little too long. Jay. His name fits his appearance you thought. You watched him walk to the only empty seat in the classroom which was the seat in front of your boyfriend who was sitting next to you. You looked away when he made eye contact with you, catching you staring at him.
Meeting Him
Turns out that Jay was not just your classmate. He was also the son of the family who moved in next door. You were surprised to see him open the door when your mother sent you to give your new neighbors a welcome gift, freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies. You collected yourself and smiled brightly, holding out the plate filled with cookies in front of you.
“Hello, I am Y/N. I live next door and my mother sent these for you to say welcome to our neighborhood.” you explained, finally looking at his eyes. He smiled back at you, taking the plate out of your hands.
“Thank you so much, it’s very nice of her and you. I am Jay. I am pretty sure we are classmates as well.” he answered. You nodded at him.
“I’ll see you in class then” you said and took one step back to go back to your house. You saw him wave a goodbye at you before turning around.
An Offer
Many things were unpredictable in your life. For example, you never expected your relationship with Daniel to come to an end so quickly but it did. You also did not expect your long term friendship with your -now- ex boyfriend to get ruined, following your break-up. You were still seated next to each other in class but you rarely talked. He never texted you about anything other than your classes. It was a hard time for both of you. You were sad because losing a friend who has been there all along was not easy to take it in.
“I am going to assign all of you into study groups today. I am expecting you guys to meet outside of class to encourage each other to study for the upcoming exams” announced your homeroom teacher on the third Friday of your senior year, causing your classmates to whine to voice their complaints out. You opened your notebook as you waited for your name to be called.
“Ruby, Luke, Y/N, Jay and Daniel, you guys are Team B” you heard your teacher added after checking his journal.
Here’s how these “study groups” worked: every group member had to do their best and get a good grade on the exams. After the exams week, the average grade for each team was calculated by your teacher and the team with the highest average score received a prize in return. This way, your teacher made sure everyone helped each other to increase the average grade for their teams.
“Make sure to exchange phone numbers and make a group chat to discuss your study plans and meetings” your teacher suggested.
You pulled out a loose-leaf and tapped on Jay’s shoulder who was seating in front of Daniel. He looked back with a questioning expression.
“Write your phone number down and pass the paper to Ruby” you confided and he nodded back at you before taking the paper from your hands. You took the paper back after Ruby and Luke wrote their numbers down. Of course you did not have to ask for Daniel’s number.
“I’ll create a group chat after school, we can discuss the details there” you reported, gaining a nod from every member of your study group.
You were a competitive student. Your grades were always above average and these study group contests made you even more ambitious. As nerdy as it sounded, you wanted to make sure everyone in your team performed well on the upcoming exams.
You knew Ruby was a bright student. Daniel studied regularly as well. Luke was okay as far as you knew. However, you did not know about Jay’s academics. You were determined to learn about it and help him if he needed your help.
“Hey Jay, do you want to walk home together after school?” you asked, smiling politely. He turned to you in surprise and took a look at Daniel’s face. He smirked at Daniel’s clenched jaw and accepted your offer.
Plans
You saw Jay playing with his phone in front of the school gates when you exited the school building. He was wearing his leather jacket, making you look like a child next to him with your fluffy pastel pink cardigan and white outfit. He put his phone into his back pocket when you reached his side.
“You ready?” he questioned looking down at your face. You looked so short compared to his tall figure. You felt intimidated by his eyes and chose to look down at your shoes before nodding your head.
“So… How are you?” he asked, breaking the dead silence as you walked side by side.
“I’m good. I should ask you how you are. Were you able to get used to living here?” you asked, feeling, less nervous as you walked.
“Yes… Actually, I couldn't explore much since I don’t have many friends around here and I usually just go to school and return home during the week” he explained and scratched the back of his neck in embarrassment. I probably sound like a loser, he thought. You thought for a little before speaking again.
“Hey, I can show you around this weekend if you want? I didn’t have anything planned anyway. Also, this is like the last weekend we can enjoy before studying for the exams. That is… if you want to, of course… I get it if you don’t-“ your rambling got interrupted by Jay’s little chuckle. Cute, he thought.
“I would like that,” he answered. You couldn’t help but smile at his acceptance of your invitation.
“This is kind of random but do you like pancakes?” you asked out of nowhere.
“Who doesn’t like pancakes?” he answered your question with another question causing you to chuckle. I already like this guy, you thought.
“Alright, then we can go to this local diner I know for breakfast tomorrow and start our little tour afterwards” you suggested while looking at him to wait for his answer.
“Alright, sounds like a plan” he concluded. Jay couldn’t help but think how much he wanted this “little tour” of yours to be an actual date.
Getting to Know Him
“Oh you should meet Mr. Bubbles” you insisted as you watched Jay take another bite of his blueberry pancakes. You wanted to introduce your fat Scottish fold to your new friend who apparently loves cats.
“I would love to…But unfortunately, I am allergic to cats” he replied, looking a little sad. You felt the need to comfort him inside you.
“Don’t be so sad! I can just show him to you through the window of my room” you suggested. You heard his small chuckle before nodding at your direction.
From this morning, you learned that Jay is not as intimidating as he looked from outside. He moved to your town from Seattle because of his father’s job. He was good at subjects like English and History but he said he could use some help with Math. His favorite genre of music was Rock and he took dance classes back in Seattle. He was interested in fashion and he liked cats. He had an easygoing personality and a pretty smile- wait, a big smile you meant.
In addition, Jay learned that you liked many more things other than studying: you enjoyed watching romantic comedies the most but one of your common interests was that both of you liked watching anime. You also liked cooking even though you were not as experimental as Jay when you entered the kitchen. Jay was stunned when he learned your favorite rock band: ONE OK ROCK because that was his favorite band too. He was surprised to find similarities between you two when you looked so different from outside. He also learned how much he liked your laugh and how hard he wanted to try to make you laugh more often to just listen to your laugh.
Not so long after, you paid the check and headed to your next destination.
“We’re going to the beach, I hope you know how to ride a bike” you chimed while walking backwards in front of Jay.
“Of course I know how to ride a bike! Who do you think I am?” he fought back right before you tripped on something and almost fell on your butt. He reached forward to catch you by your waist, saving you from both: the pain and the embarrassment of falling in front of Jay.
You both went silent when you were chest to chest. You looked up to Jay’s face while holding your breath. You looked at his eyes and he stared back at yours. You saw his eyes flicker to your lips and that was the signal you got before pulling away from his hold.
“Oh my god, I’m sorry, I’m so clumsy” you mumbled looking down at your feet, continuing to walk next to Jay. He strolled next to you but he did not miss the pink shade on your cheeks before looking ahead.
***
Oh my god Y/N! Get your shit together! What is wrong with you, you just spent a single day with the guy! You told yourself that night, laying down on your bed when you came back from your day with Jay.
Okay, he was attractive, funny and nice to you. He also was a good listener and he was talkative as well. You felt comfortable spending time with him and you felt bad when you said goodbye to him in front of your house before you got in. You sighed before rubbing your eyes and tried to fall asleep without thinking about your cute, hot, funny and sweet classmate.
Study Group
You opened the gates of the coffee shop you were supposed to meet with your study mates 10 minutes later than your agreed meeting time. You hurried your way upstairs where it was more quiet than downstairs and you saw your group members sitting on a table in the left corner of the room. You apologized for being late when you reach their table and took the only empty seat next to Daniel, across from Jay.
You opened your backpack to take your materials out when you realized a cup of coffee was pushed in front of you. You looked up to see Jay grinning at you. He went back to taking notes on his notebook when you reached for the cup to take a sip from it. You realized it was a latte with unsweetened vanilla. Your usual order. He remembered your order from the coffee shop you went on your little tour right before you went to see the local art gallery. You looked at his face to see him watching your reaction. You gave him a small smile while mouthing "thank you" and he returned your smile with a little nod.
Confession
It was right before the Christmas break started when Jay came to terms with his feelings for you. Between the walks you took home together, the shared snacks between classes, the laughs shared during the lunch periods, and the times he snuck into your room to watch your favorite anime together at night when you were both supposed to be sleeping, he fell for you.
Jay was a straightforward guy. If he feels something, he might as well tell you about it. Worst case scenario: you would kindly reject him and he would move on. So he grabbed his phone from his nightstand and texted you.
You grabbed your cardigan from your closet and opened the gates of the kitchen which looked at the backyard as quiet as possible to not wake your parents up. You saw Jay putting his hands in his pockets while waiting for you in the middle of your backyard. His back was facing you so you thought you could have a little fun.
You reached him while tiptoeing silently and grabbed his waist from behind.
“BOO!” you whisper screamed. He jumped and pushed you away while you tried to hold your laugh, but failed miserably. He watched you laugh while he shook his head in disbelief.
“I knew it! You’re still scared of the ghosts” you accused him, stepping forward and putting your pointing finger on his chest. He watched you having fun with an amusing smile plastered on his face. He reached for your waist with his both hands while still looking at you with the same amused smile.
“Why do I even like you?” he muttered in disbelief. You froze. He watched your surprised expression and realized what he just blurted out.
“What?” you asked looking down at his chest because looking into his eyes was very hard at that moment. Jay took a deep breath before continuing.
“I thought I was pretty obvious” he said casually. Your heart was beating so fast that you got scared that Jay might have heard its banging on your chest. You bowed your head down and your forehead touched Jay’s chest. You were shy.
“Ilikeyoutoo” you mumbled so fast, Jay almost couldn’t catch it. Cute, he thought and you felt his lips press on your forehead. You hugged his waist while he nuzzled his nose in the crook of your neck under the light of the stars.
Secrecy
Ever since you started going on dates with Jay, it was during the Christmas break. You went to cute cafes to drink hot chocolate, went ice skating, and did all the holiday activities together. One thing you didn’t talk about was how you were going to act when you got back to school. So you started sneaking around instinctively.
It was another study group meeting before the upcoming exams. You were seated between Ruby and Jay at one of the tables in your local library’s study hall when you felt Jay’s hand grabbing yours under the table. You turned to look at his face but he shrugged his shoulders like he didn’t care. You intertwined your hand with his and put them on top of your thigh. He rubbed his thumb on the back of your hand as both of you continued reading your textbooks.
When you were done with studying for History, you had to grab another book from the aisle where English textbooks were put. You got up, letting go of Jay’s hand in the process and went to the English books section. You searched through the bookshelves to find the book you needed. As you were focused on reading the names of various textbooks, you felt a small kiss pressed on the exposed skin of the back of your neck. Your breath caught in the back of your throat when you turned around to see Jay smirking at you.
“They could have seen us” you whispered to him, slapping his arm.
Not So Secretive
Jay entered the class, playing with the straps of his backpack when he saw you sitting on your seat while playing with your phone. He reached his seat to find Daniel sitting on it.
“Why are you sitting here?” questioned Jay, tilting his head to the empty seat next to you where Daniel seated every day except for that day. Daniel let a sigh before looking up at Jay.
“Don’t you want to sit next to your girlfriend?” he asked, already knowing the answer to the question.
Jay did not respond before sitting next to you. You turned your head to see who was seating next to you in surprise before he leaned forward to plant a sloppy kiss on your cheek in front of your classmates.

gif not mine!! credits to the owner^^
After Natasha left your room she immediately goes straight to hers. She barely falls asleep.
She stares at the ceiling, absorbed in her own thoughts. She tries to shake away the heat rushing to her face whenever the moment you kissed her on the cheek replays on her mind. All it took is someone like you to get one of the toughest people in the compound turn into mush.
She never believes in the ‘love at first sight’ bullshit because, well, it is bullshit. It’s impossible to love someone you just met. But who knows, right? You might just be an exception.
No, Natasha frowns. I just like her... a lot. It’s different.
The next morning, her run consists of her planning out the date day with you, where she’d take you first and stuff. She stops by the front gate of the compound, suddenly worrying. She wants to impress you. But what if you don’t like what she had in store? What if you think she's boring?
You're the type of person that almost likes everything and you’d express it kindly if you don’t. Boring you should be the last thing on Natasha’s mind.
Natasha walks into the kitchen to hydrate herself but halts once she saw the mess you and Thor had all over the counters.
“Wait, hold on- no, that’s - oh god, Thor, that’s too much batter!” You smack him on the arm and laugh, tilting your head a bit to figure out how you’d get the large pancake out of the pan.
“Oops,” Thor says sheepishly, turning around to put the bowl back on the counter, noticing Natasha’s confusion. “Oh don’t worry, Natasha, we’ll clean up after we’re done.”
The mention of the redhead makes you turn as well. “Good morning, Nat.” You beam. Normally, Natasha would sent a glare to anyone who calls her that, someone who isn’t a close friend, but with you... instead of a glare her eyes light up. Giving you a small smile, she greets you back.
“I thought you were going out?” She questions, passing by you to reach the fridge.
“We were, but IHOP’s closed, under maintenance they said,” Thor sighs and you hum in response. “It’s quite alright. I heard you guys are going out anyway-”
Natasha lowers the water bottle from her lips, staring at him. “You heard?”
You spin around to clean up after turning off the stove. ‘I didn’t tell him anything,’ you mouth to her, which makes her think Steve somehow knows of it already.
Thor lets out a laugh, grabbing the whole pan and twiddling his fork, “you two have fun.” He winks and walks out of the room.
-----
“They were so cute,” you look back at the newly engaged couple near the window of the restaurant. “And really, you didn’t have to pay. I can pay you back.”
Later that afternoon the both of you headed out. Natasha parked her car somewhere and since it was a nice day, not too hot or anything, you both strolled around the city to find a place to have brunch.
“Y/N, it’s fine. I’m the one who asked you out.” Natasha chuckles, remembering the way you pouted in there begging her to let you pay at least for your own food.
You huff, smiling. “Fine. But I’m getting you back.”
So far you were having a good time with her. You got to know each other more, she told you stories about some of the team’s missions from other countries which were relatively rare, her first encounters with Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, and in return you told her some about your out-of-this-world missions with the guardians.
And no you didn’t tell her about the history of moon rocks or some shit, nor did you promise to bring her back some. Who even collects those nowadays? Natasha was more interested about your early life, on Earth, which you were thankful for. You were taken away from your father (the only parent you preferred and loved) who was pure human one day by your alien-freak of a mother which you inherited your fire powers from.
You don’t like talking about it. But with her you're surprisingly comfortable.
Natasha smirks. “So we’re going out again sometime?”
“Of course we are.” After two seconds of pure confidence you wish you didn’t say that out loud. “Well, you know, I won’t force you to something you don’t want it’s - it’s your call.”
You're in the middle of telling her about your favorite bar and diner, the one your father always takes you as a child and you even paid a visit there the last time you were on Earth.
“Huh. Isn’t that the one that just closed?” She recalls
“No, really?” You drag out the ‘no’, sighing. “They’re the best. They make their own iced tea and beer and stuff... and - oh!”
You feel something rub against your ankle: a fluffy dog who's looking up at you with its tongue out and its tail was wagging wildly. Natasha raises her eyebrows, her eyes trailing to the abandoned leash behind it.
“Hey there,” you kneel down to pet it with caution just incase its intention is to bite you. But it seems to be happy and tame. “Look, Nat, s’adorable.” Natasha chuckles briefly and starts looking around for a person who looks frantic and is finding, calling a dog.
“This fella belongs to the animal center.” You caress the dog behind its ear while you read the information on its collar.
It isn’t that far, it seems like the dog just escaped as well because the guy running the center was unaware of its absence.
“Thanks!” Said guy smiles in appreciation, reaching out to take the leash out of your hand. Natasha’s mind is focused on how the guy looks at you for the first time. It's the exact same look she gave you that night. Mesmerized, as if it was love at first sight. She doesn’t miss how his hand brushes yours, completely intentional. “I don’t know what I’d do if you hadn’t returned him. The pups here just grew out of their mom’s milk and are very hyper. It’s a lot of work.”
You're completely oblivious to this, you’re just glad the dog is back to where he belongs.
“No problem, he’s very sweet.” You smile politely. “Are they up for adoption? It would really help you out if they were, you know, and this one here is well behaved.”
At this point Natasha’s just eyeing the guy like he’d pounce on you any minute now. He’s definitely into you and she doesn’t like it.
“You’re welcome to stop by anytime,” he grins, ignoring your suggestion. “Can I have your number?”
“Oh, I don’t have a phone...” you trail off.
“That’s right, she doesn’t.” Natasha steps in and she catches the guy off guard and surprised that the Black Widow is actually with you the whole time. Natasha intertwines her hand with yours, pleased with his dumbfounded reaction. “We’ll be on our way now.”
You didn’t expect that but you weren’t complaining. Her hands were soft, and it brought this comforting feeling you couldn’t explain. But you clear your throat once the both of you are a few blocks away from the center.
“Sorry, he gave me an off vibe,” Natasha mutters and removes her hand from yours.
“Don’t be, I appreciate you looking out,” you smiles. Her car was getting into view now. “If it helps you sleep at night though, he wasn’t my type.” You joke.
Turns out you weren’t completely oblivious.
Natasha merely scoffs, getting in the driver’s seat and starting the engine.
After the dog incident you both drove around different parts of the city. You went to a different mall to stroll around, commenting on anything you both saw that would somehow lead to a stupid story that happened at some point in your lives.
A local artsy bookstore, not gonna lie Natasha liked reading a good book when she had the time. So did you. It was nice to know that she’s the type of person who liked reading. Quill always got annoyed with you whenever he saw you reading silently in the ship (but when was he not annoyed with you?). The only ones that was willing to try and read back in space were Mantis and Gamora, bless her soul.
“These are good,” you mutter to Natasha. “All my books are on the ship, I think, but if I get to them I’ll let you read my favorite one... if you want.”
Last stop of the day. Natasha claims it’s a surprise.
“I don’t do well with surprises,” you whine, holding back a smile. “Just tell me.”
“No. And besides, we’re already here.” Natasha chuckles.
Your eyes light up on how stunning the scenery was. An edge of the cliff and below is a beach that doesn’t look like it’s visited by people everyday. The beautiful sunset, the sky made up of purple, orange and almost pink magnifies the calmness of the waves crawling gently to the shore.
“I always come here whenever I need to,” she says silently and exhales, walking over to you. “It’s the perfect place to go whenever those idiots get on my nerves.” You laugh lightly at her reasoning.
Natasha pats a spot on the grass beside her. She holds her gaze on you as you sit down, sighing. “It’s beautiful.”
“Yeah,” she manages to stop staring at you and look up at the sky instead. It's getting darker by the minute, the orange and pinkness started to fade as the sun went down, all of it replaced by light purple, darker shade of blue.
You're used to different colored skies. It would always vary and depend on what planet you were on, plus you always see those stars shimmering up above, so your focus is on the water and the waves. The way they move calms you.
“Thank you for today,” you murmur. “I’m gonna be honest, I didn’t expect any of this happening.”
Natasha hums. “I hope I wasn’t too boring.”
“Of course not, I think you’re very interesting and you’re fun to be with.” You say genuinely.
Once the sun is fully down and the moon had taken over the sky, the both of you get up to head back to the compound. “Eating out here would’ve been nice but Steve’s in charge with dinner, he wouldn’t be too happy if he knew we already ate.” The car ride back is silent, but the good kind. A content, comfortable one.
Okay so, your stay took more than a few weeks.
You grew close with the amazing group of people, plus your good relationship with Natasha just kept growing and... just got better.
Thor stayed too because he didn’t have a choice, but he didn’t mind. Rocket left one pod for both of you to use that’ll send you to wherever Quill’s ship was up there.
You and Natasha went out when you had the chance, taking turns treating each other to stuff. You learned that Thor included your books when he packed you a bag, and now Natasha was borrowing one of them.
Sometimes you’d join them on missions. You did a great job every time, not wanting to be a burden to a team you weren’t officially in. Sometimes you’d join Steve into a sparring session at the compound’s gym.
Speaking of which, he’s treating both you and Natasha as if you’re dating.
“Would you look at that, your girl managed to give me a bruise. She’s a keeper.” Steve tells Natasha.
“You totally deserve that.”
You also started sparring with Natasha. And Tony caught on with the whole ‘dating’ thing from Steve.
“Oooh, am I interrupting something here?” Tony smirks. He's going back and forth visiting the compound and coming home to his wife and daughter at their cabin. It's working out though. “I think the mat’s unsanitary. Take this to the bedroom.”
“Oh shut up, Y/N was just working on her tackling.” Natasha grunts, leaving you sprawled on the mat, exhausted. “It’s getting sloppy. We’ll go again in a minute.”
-----
“Y/N,” The devastating tone of Natasha’s voice makes you look up. “Quill’s calling. He’s looking for you.”
“What?” She doesn’t answer but instead motions you to follow. In her office is a hologram of your fellow half-human and he looks distraught.
You step in front of the hologram so he can see you.
“What happened to a few weeks, L/N? It’s been almost three months!” Quill says. “Look, come back, bring Thor with you. Our distress signal goes off almost every day and we can’t keep doing this without both of you.”
“Alright, how much time do I have before you lose your cool?” You reply sarcastically, but you're also worried and didn’t want to leave. You know better than to argue with the guy.
Natasha doesn’t want you to leave so suddenly. There’s limited communication between you and her once you go back up there. She grew attached to you.
Quill gives you an obvious look. “As soon as possible! Just - just get back here, please?” Then he abruptly ends the call.
You roll your eyes and left the room to pack, barely noticing Natasha hunched over, visibly sad and anxious that you’re leaving.
She loves you, and now you’re leaving without that knowledge.
You told Thor about it when he passed by the open door of your room. He didn’t look thrilled to be leaving so suddenly. After packing everything up (on his part it wasn’t that much) he offered to carry your bag for you as you said your farewells.
“Sorry guys, duty calls,” you sigh, hugging everyone. “Seeing as Tony’s not here just tell him I’ll miss him or something.”
“Will you come visit soon?” Wanda asks as she pulls away from your hug.
“Definitely.” You turn your head when Steve nudges you, nodding his head to the direction where Natasha is shifting, pacing, avoiding any eye contact.
You walk over to her. She tries holding back tears as you did. She grew attached to you and now you’re leaving. “Hey Nat,” you cup her face, trying to get her to look at you. “I’m sorry. I don’t wanna leave either, not right now, but-”
Natasha kisses you, pulling you close to her as much as possible. Tears fully streaming down her face. She’s never felt this way before, about anybody, for a long time.
But let’s face it, you both know you loved each other. Maybe the both of you just knew that if you got together, it’ll be extremely hard for your relationship once you left. The long distance relationship thing. Even if you aren’t, it's already too painful for Natasha, like she's caught off guard or something. None of you knew that today's your last night on Earth.
“I’m gonna miss you.” Natasha whispers after pulling away.
You smile sympathetically, wiping her tears away with your thumb. “You know I’ll come back, right, pretty girl?” Natasha exhales shakily and pulls you into a hug.
“You better.”

author’s notes: Welcome back to Nation of Two! Thanks for your patience with this series! I’m very excited to be sharing this new version of it with you and I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do!
warnings: Brief mentions of sex
masterlist || request || read it on AO3 || next part
When Calum first met Petra, his life seemed to look brighter. Days were warmer and the birds sang a little louder whenever he walked outside. It was as if everything used to be in black and white and Petra brought the color. It was as if some higher power above Calum brought him to a random park in LA and his life was forever changed. He'd never seen her before, which wasn't hard to do since LA was filled with people and the chance of seeing her again was minute.
Okay, maybe that was a lie. Calum had seen her before. It was like fate had been playing jokes on him.
The first time he'd seen Petra, he didn't even know her name. She'd been ahead of him at the grocery store. She'd been unloading her groceries onto the belt, colorful fruits, and vegetables that made Calum's basket seem dull in color, the cashier and her both chatting over a drink Petra had been excited to try. Calum had been watching, and listening, to her absentmindedly. He'd stopped by to grab a few snacks and drinks before the band's slot at the studio began.
Calum liked her smile. He liked how she was polite and didn't interrupt the cashier when she told her about the other flavors of the energy drink that Calum was making a mental note about getting next time around. He also liked, and he might've chuckled he doesn't remember now, Petra's reusable bags which were a mix of tote bags that had different patterns on them. His favorite had to be the canvas bag that had been stamped with a drawing of a corgi with an umbrella.
Calum had never been one to approach people he didn't know in public, especially pretty women who took his breath away, so it was no surprise when he watched Petra walk out of the grocery store with her bags as he waited for the cashier to finish ringing up his groceries. He wouldn't even know what to say if he had gone after her. He'd probably just make a fool of himself and end up with flushed cheeks at the studio as he thought back on the moment. So with his snacks and non energized drinks in a plastic bag, Calum made his way out of the grocery store, his eyes searching the parking lot in hopes of seeing the woman with the bright smile and colorful groceries.
The second time Calum saw Petra, he thought he'd imagined it. His hands were full with his laptop, journal, and the iced coffee he'd been nursing all morning in the way of him opening the door to the record shop he was meant to meet Ashton at. Looking helpless, Calum tried to figure out the best way to open the door, until his savior showed up from inside the store.
"Oh, sorry. I didn't see you there," Petra laughed, her eyebrows raising as she noticed the confused look on Calum's face, "Hands full?"
"Huh?" Calum mumbled as he looked at her in somewhat awe, "Oh, uh, yeah. Thank you," he chuckled before stepping into the record shop, his head nodding at her.
"Don't worry about it, have a nice day! They have really good records today," she said and waved, giving him a bright smile before she continued on with her day.
Calum would've been lying if he said he hadn't felt his heart race and his palms sweat as he talked with her. It might've even been embarrassing if he thought too much about it, how a short and polite conversation between two strangers could rile him up this much. But with a deep breath and another sip of the now watered-down coffee, Calum walked around the store, trying to find Ashton and wondering if he'd ever see Petra again.
"Oh, it's you again. Are you sure you're not stalking me?" Petra's voice broke Calum out of his gaze, her laugh warming his skin as he tried his best not to blush.
Calum was used to his fans following his every move. He was used to them knowing where he was before he even knew and it had gotten to the point where he'd rarely want to leave the comfort of his home. But this was just strange. In the past two months, Calum had seen Petra a handful of times. Since their initial two meetings, Calum had spotted her at the same brunch spot that Michael had taken him to on a sunny Wednesday. He'd also seen her at the beach when he'd taken Duke after a stressful studio session. It seemed like everywhere Calum went, Petra had beat him to it. And even now, as he'd stopped at the flower shop down the street from the grocery store, Petra was strolling through the aisles of vases that Calum just so happened to walk into.
"It would seem that way, huh?" Calum said with a nervous chuckle, "Guess we just keep on meeting,"
"Some people would call that fate, you know?" Petra teased, her eyebrow-raising as she stuck her hand out for him to shake, "I'm Petra."
"Petra. Nice to meet you again," Calum laughed and took her hand in his, giving it a soft squeeze as she shook them, "I'm Calum."
"Yeah, I know," she mumbled, her eyes widening a bit, "Shit no, that sounded creepy. I just meant that-"
"Are you sure you're not the one who's stalking me?" Calum asked, no malice in his voice, and the smile he was trying to hide gave way to his teasing.
"Haha. I'm just a fan of your work. Who wouldn't be, you guys are changing the music scene," Petra nodded and shrugged, her addicting smile once again blessing Calum's presence.
"I appreciate that Petra, it means a lot," he nodded, "So you're buying flowers for someone special?"
Petra laughed at that, her eyes looking past him before making their way back to meet his. Calum felt the familiar warmth that spread over his body whenever he'd seen her in the past two months, the feeling that something was meant to happen. Calum couldn't deny that she was beautiful, besides her smile that always seems to be on his mind these days, Calum found himself looking over her as well. Watching the way her curls bounced on her shoulders and the way her sundress seemed to match the warm weather and warmth he felt inside.
"Uh, no. Can't a woman buy herself flowers something?" she asked, "Are you?"
"Can't a man buy himself some flowers?" Calum returned, his chuckle soft as he shrugged, "I guess I should go pay for these then. It was nice to properly meet you, Petra,"
"Calum," she said with a nod, "Have a nice day. Maybe fate will have us meet again," she teased and with a wave, she was walking back down the aisle.
And Calum really hoped that this time, fate would be on his side.
"Morning," Petra's soft voice broke Calum out of his early morning thoughts, "Have you been awake long?"
Calum's head turned to the side, the breath he'd been planning to let go of getting caught in his throat as his eyes landed on Petra. Her room was the perfect representation of who she was. The plants that adorned the window left the smell of rain in her room almost constantly. The soft covers that Calum found himself under the majority of the time he'd spent with her reminded him of clouds. But his favorite part of Petra's bedroom was the giant window next to her bed which let the sunlight filter in and land on her in the mornings. She always looked ethereal in the mornings, her soft skin glowing under the sun as her curls covered her eyes. It was Calum's favorite way to wake up, with Petra by his side, her soft breaths against his shoulder. He loved waking up next to her almost as much as he loved falling asleep next to her, watching how the moonlight illuminated her as her thoughts drifted from coherent to a mumbling of words.
"No, just a few minutes, how'd you sleep?" Calum mumbled, sleep still evident in his voice as he cleared his throat to try and chase it away.
"Extremely comfortable," she mumbled, her lips pressing a soft kiss onto his shoulder, "Slept next to the man I love, couldn't ask for anything better than that, huh?"
Calum's sleepy smile matched hers, his body turning onto its side so he could pull her close to his chest. It had been six months since Calum had bought her those flowers she'd been holding. Six months since he'd asked the cashier to slip the little white card with his phone number into the bouquet. Six months since Calum had picked up the phone on a sunny evening and listened to Petra tease him over the cheesy message he'd left her.
“Pretty flowers for a woman who deserves them, that’s pretty cheesy, don’t you think?” Petra had asked, her voice soft as Calum’s cheeks flushed. He’d been sitting on his couch, his hands sweaty as he tried to excuse the action but it didn’t matter, Petra had already fallen for him and his cheesiness, “You have a way with words, Calum.”
“Maybe I can make up for the cheesiness soon?” Calum asked, trying to keep his voice steady as he ran a hand through the curls that had been long for too long and ached to be cut, “Maybe I can take you out sometime soon?”
“I’d like that a lot,” Petra mumbled, hoping that Calum couldn’t hear her giddiness or the smile that was adorning her face, even over the phone, “Throwing fate into your own hands?”
“Of course, we have to do that at some point, don’t we?”
And after last night's confessions, when both were too lost in one another's bodies and lips to hold back their emotions for any longer, their night together went from a simple date to a confession of love. It was something that Calum had put off for so long in his life, something that he'd tried before and failed. Something that had broken him so badly he'd shut the world out for so long. But with Petra, loving her was nothing more than common sense. It was wanting her by his side and buying her pretty flowers whenever he passed by the flower shop. So when Petra whispered those three little words to him in between moans and kisses, Calum never hesitated to say them back because he'd known the truth for months. He loved Petra and she loved him.
And he couldn't ask for anything more. He loved Petra on her good days and on her bad days. He loved Petra when it was raining outside and her pout hid away the beautiful smile Calum had fallen for all those months ago. He loved her in the supermarket when they were the only people walking down the fluorescent-lit aisles in the late hours of the night. He loved her when they were in the darkness of his living room, talking into the morning lights about everything and nothing.
If you asked Petra, which her parents did a lot, she'd tell you the same things. That she loved Calum to the farthest galaxy and back. That the moon and the stars could never shine as bright as he did and that the sunlight on his golden-brown skin was something she could study daily. She loved Calum even if he preferred rainy days over the sunny ones she loved so much. Petra knew he'd been hurt before, that he'd hidden his heart behind a wall of ice and that it had taken a lot of time and working on himself to get to where they were. She knew that Calum could be like the bird his name was meant for, that he could get spooked and fly away at any moment. But Petra loved that even with all the fears and the doubts his mind gave him, he'd whispered how much he loved her the night before, his breathy moans in her ear as he confessed how he'd felt.
It was a sunny afternoon when Petra first saw Calum. He had his hands full and was struggling to open the door of the record shop that her friend had recently started working at. Petra had promised to stop by and maybe buy a few albums to boost her friend's sales for the day. She'd just finished checking out and was on her way out when she'd spotted him. She recognized him immediately, the pink pressed vinyl in her bag had his face on it, and so she opened the door for him. She liked his eyes, how they widened when he realized he wasn't going to have to drop his coffee or laptop on the ground in order to open the door. She liked the breathy laugh he gave her before walking into the store and the way her heart raced once she had walked back to her car and had a mini freak out over meeting one of her favorite artists. Had she regretted not saying anything else besides a joke? Of course, she had, she could've asked for a picture of even for him to sign the vinyl she'd just bought, but Petra had decided that if it was meant to be, she'd see him again.
"Oh, I don't know mom, it's weird! I've only seen him in passing! I've said maybe a handful of words to him and to make matters worse he's a famous musician who will probably never know my name," Petra huffed as she got back into her car after once again seeing Calum at the bookstore she visited every once in a while, "What if he thinks I'm just a crazy stalker fan?"
"Petra, darling, you're a beautiful young woman. He'd be a fool to those harsh things about you. Maybe you've already caught his eye and he's the one who's nervous to say anything to you." Petra's mother said over the phone, the evident noises of cooking in the background, "Next time you see him, you should talk to him. You can't get struck by lightning if you're not standing in the rain."
"Mom, that is the most terrifying metaphor you could've used. I hope you know that," Petra mumbled as she laid her head back against her headrest.
"I love you Petra, be safe," her mom chuckled, "Go dancing out in the rain for a change!"
Petra had known her mom meant well. She'd been living in LA for almost a year and she had yet to put herself out there. Sure, she had friends and her coworkers were always inviting her out to bar nights and social events. But Petra craved the attention of someone. She'd been single for years now and moving to LA had been a step towards changing that. She was meant to find herself and what she wanted to do with her life here. She knew meeting Calum in multiple places around this giant city hadn't been coincidences, she knew that fate had a funny way of playing with her and she was just supposed to take everything thrown at her with a grain of salt.
Petra smiled as she listened to Calum talk over the phone, he was chatting about the latest city the band was in. He'd been gone for a few weeks, living his life and playing shows every night. Sure, Petra missed him, she missed him like crazy every day whenever she woke up in an empty bed and when she ate breakfast alone. But she knew that Calum had missed being on stage and missed singing in front of a crowd. Even if that meant that Petra and Calum couldn't be together for a while, it'd be worth it.
"P, you there?" Calum asked, chuckling quietly, Petra could hear the smile in his voice, could see him leaning against the tour bus with that soft smile she loved so much, "Or did you disappear on me?"
"Sorry, yeah I'm here." Petra laughed quietly, "What were you saying?"
"I'm coming home, babe," Calum said happily, "We've got a break and I'm gonna fly out to spend time with you."
Calum was packing up his bag on the counter of her bathroom, the glass wall of her shower made him look like a blur. The warm water from the showerhead was hitting her body, soothing the aches from the night before as she listened to Calum talk about his most recent trip. Her eyes were closed as she massaged shampoo into her hair, but she could still picture Calum, his hands above his head, or playing an invisible bass as he told Petra about the moment he and the band knew they'd cracked the code on their latest single.
"So do I get a sneak peek of it?" Petra asked as she finished shampooing her hair, her eyes opening to meet Calum, who was standing next to the entrance of the shower.
"You wish," he laughed and shook her head, "Gotta wait until we have the master done, lovebug."
"Ugh, I thought dating one of your favorite musicians meant you got to listen to new music first?" she mumbled in fake annoyance, her hands moving to splash Calum with water.
"Oh you're gonna pay for that one," he laughed and before Petra knew it, Calum's arms were wrapped around hers and the water was splashing them both.
"You're supposed to be packing, dork. Can't leave if you don't have a suitcase packed," Petra mumbled against his lips, her thumb stroking his jawline.
"Stop revealing my plans, honey," he whispered and pulled her into another kiss, "You forgot an important part of my plan though."
"Oh yeah? And what would that be, Dove?" she asked quietly, the familiar nickname bringing a redness to Calum’s cheeks, and smiled as she followed a water drop that rolled down his forehead to his jaw. It rolled down slowly, almost as if it too was taking its time enjoying the feeling of Calum’s skin against it.
"You're coming with me. Taking you home with me this time."

Strawberries On A Summer Evening
A soft imagine in which YN is one of the extras in the watermelon sugar music video and Harry can’t take his eyes off of her [2.2K Words] I hope you all enjoy this lovelies make sure to stream watermelon sugar! Masterlist
“And cut!” The director shouted, “That’s great ladies, go get yourselves some water and then we’ll go again in ten minutes. Harry can I run through a few things with you?” You made your way over to the table where bottles of water waited for you and the rest of the cast. There were spare slices of watermelon lying about, but you weren’t sure if you could face eating any more watermelon after the amount you had got through during filming. It was your first high profile job, the other music videos and projects you had been in were mainly for unsigned artists, so being in the Harry Styles’ music video was a pretty big deal. All the girls taking part were beautiful and so lovely to talk to, at first you had felt extremely out of your depth, but they had all gone out of their way to make you feel incredibly welcome.
“So we need a few more shots of you and the extras on the beach before we do the shots on the benches,” Blake, the creative director explained.
“Sounds wonderful, do you know who that girl is?” Harry replied, gesturing towards you as you spoke to a couple of members of the cast.
“Not sure, I think Lambert recommended her,” Blake told him, “We’ll be back on in five.” Blake walked off leaving Harry gazing at you, the sun capered over your skin, quite frankly Harry was in awe, he hadn’t been able to keep his eyes off of you during filming, he was bold enough to look right at you when he was singing, but you were yet to approach him. He didn’t want you to think he was coming on too heavy so he just left it, it wouldn’t exactly be a great first impression to ask for your number straight away, whether he was Harry Styles or not.
“Hey Lambert how's it going?” Harry asked his stylist as he approached him for an outfit change.
“Things seem to be shaping up well, I reckon your fans will go mad for this video.” He replied, handing Harry a new outfit, Harry Lambert had known Harry for a while now, and they were pretty close, meaning he could read him like a book, “But you didn’t come over here to ask me about that did you?” Harry looked up at his stylist with a confused look on his face, “You wanted to ask about YN didn’t you? The girl in the blue bikini.”
“How did you know?” Harry asked, pretty impressed by his friend’s skills of deduction.
“Many reasons, firstly you’ve literally been staring at her throughout the whole shoot, you’re even doing so now, secondly the way you bounded over here like a puppy with a look inyour eyes that I haven’t seen in a long time, and thirdly I had a bet with Blake that you would ask me about her.” Harry Lambert smirked, folding and putting away Harry’s outfit.
“If this stylist thing doesn’t go anywhere for you Lambert I recommend you become a private investigator.” Harry laughed at his friend.
“You are going to talk to her aren’t you?”
“What, now?” Harry asked.
“There’s no time like the present.”
Harry shuffled across the sand awkwardly to where you were sitting on a step reapplying sunscreen. “Is this seat taken?” Harry asked, gesturing to the space on the seat beside you.
“Help yourself,” you smiled, rubbing suncream up and down your arms.
“How are you finding the shoot so far?” Harry asked, leaning back on the steps, the warm breeze from the sea hitting both of your faces.
“It’s been good, everyone’s so lovely, I think I expected everyone to be strictly professional, but I’m having a lot of fun, this is my first video shoot for a signed artist you see,” You explained.
“Really? Well I heard you came highly recommended.
“Been talking about me have you Styles?” Harry felt put on the spot, you had only known each other for a few minutes and you were already keeping him on his toes.
“No, I um, well-” Harry stuttered, unable to think up a plausible excuse.
“I’m messing with you, the last artist I worked with knows your stylist, he sent him my portfolio and it went from there.” You assured him, he was different to most men you had spoken to before, yes he was as charming as the media said he was, but he was also clearly nervous, stumbling over his words and offering you small smiles every so often. “Nice sunglasses by the way.” You told him as you struggled to rub sunscreen into your back.
“Thank you, do you want me to help you with that?” Harry asked politely, clearly not wanting to overstep the mark.
“If you don’t mind.” You replied, he took the bottle from your hand, squeezing some of the cream into his hand before slowly rubbing it up and down your back, his hands felt strong against your back which sent shivers up and down your spine, he made sure to cover your shoulders too, gently rubbing the suncream along your shoulders, his fingers lightly dancing along your collarbone.
“I think that’s all done, wouldn’t want my leading lady getting burnt now would I?” Harry smiled, admiring how well your bikini complimented your figure, but he didn’t mention it because he had just rubbed sunscreen into your back, and any other sudden advances could be too premature.
“Leading lady eh? Can I put that on my resume?” You teased.
“I mean one of my leading ladies, you look wonderful, you all do,” Harry stuttered, you were having that effect on him again, when you looked at him whilst he talked all he seemed to do was trip over his words, “We should probably get back down to the set, they’ll probably call time on the break in a minute.”
Filming was resumed as you and the rest of the extras laid sprawled across picnic blankets, Harry in the middle of you all. As the director shouting action Harry’s eyes were on you, “Baby, you're the end of June, I want your belly and that summer feelin' getting washed away in you.” As he sang to the music blaring out of the surrounding speakers he couldn’t take his eyes off of you as the two of you lay opposite each other, he sang the words to you, there was no question about it, he was definitely singing it to you, you bit your lip in response, which ultimately sent shivers up Harry’s core. “Harry that’s great, keep working with that!” Blake called from behind the camera, “Yep Harry get closer to YN please, the camera is loving that!” Harry moved towards you, you adjusted your positioning so that his body was sprawled across her as he sang into the camera, and clearly neither of them had any complaints about the arrangement. Harry could feel your heartbeat and it was truly comforting, he could also smell the scent of your perfume that was a mixture of strawberry and vanilla, whatever it was he thought that it’s sweetness suited you perfectly.
Filming had come to an end and the sun was slowly setting over Malibu beach, most of the cast had already left, with flights to catch for other jobs, but you were still there, talking to a few of the other girls about your previous jobs, “Sorry to interrupt you ladies, could I possibly steal YN away from you?” He asked, you turned to look at you, the slight wind catching the ends of your hair, he thought your smile was beautiful, but the golden rays of sunlight made it even more so. “Did you have a good day today?” Harry asked as the pair strolled along the edge of the beach, the waves lapping up onto their bare feet as they walked.
“It was incredible, everyone is lovely, I really enjoyed it,” You smiled, he was a little bit taller than you, so you would glance up to talk to him, taking in every inch of him as you did.
“I hope you don’t think of me as overstepping the mark, but I’m inviting some friends back to my house for some drinks and some food, you are more than welcome to come.” Harry told you, somehow he had gained more confidence in talking to you since your conversation on the steps, well lying across someone’s chest is a pretty plausible reason to get closer to someone.
“See I could interpret that in one of two ways, either that’s you telling me you are having friends over and I could come, or that’s you indirectly asking me to come to your house.” You replied, running through the soft waves of the sea.
“Yeah, it would be the latter.”
Harry’s house was impressive, really impressive, it made your apartment look like a shoebox in comparison, but the company was what completed it. Harry’s friends were lovely, most of them were from the shoot, meaning their faces were familiar, you had been there quite a few hours and honestly Harry was fine with it, you slotted in with his friends perfectly, like you had known them all for ages. He made a conscious effort to check that you were alright and kept offering to top up your drink if you wanted him to. After a lengthy conversation with the group about the best ice cream parlours in Santa Monica you realised it was just gone 2AM and you should probably be getting back to your airbnb. You excused yourself from the conversation, making your way out into the grand hallway of Harry’s home, putting your shoes back on along with your denim jacket. “Leaving so soon?” You heard Harry say as he appeared in the doorway.
“It’s 2AM, and I have a job in less than six hours.” You explained, your head feeling weary as a result of the constant sun exposure mixed with the two glasses of wine.
“I could drive you if you like,” Harry offered, desperate to spend more time with you.
“You’ve had like five glasses of wine, do you want to get stopped by the police or something?” You replied, “I’ve already ordered an Uber.”
“Well will I see you again?” Harry asked.
“Depends.”
“On what?” Harry asked.
“Whether or not you ask me on a date.” You replied.
“Well, would you like to go on a date with me?” Harry asked, unable to hide the massive grin on his face.
“How does Friday sound?”
***
And there you were, spending your Friday evening on a date with none other than Harry Styles. You were wearing a white summer dress, while Harry wore a yellow patterned shirt, buttoned halfway, being the hopeless romantic he was, he had taken you back to the beach where you first met, accompanied by a picnic that of course featured watermelon pieces and strawberries. “I’ve got a lot of memories on this beach you know.” Harry told you, admiring you as you dipped a strawberry in the melted chocolate.
“Is that so?” You smiled, glancing at the butterfly tattoo that poked through his shirt.
“Yeah, we filmed the band’s first music video here when I was like seventeen,on this very balcony,” he declared, gesturing at the beach house you were sat on, “and we filmed watermelon sugar here obviously, which is where I met you.”
“I like the last one the best,” you replied, but I can think of a new one that could trump it.” You replied.
“And what might that be?” Before he could say a word your lips were on his, taking each other in, the sweet taste of strawberries lingered on your lips as Harry kissed you softly, his hands wandering up and down your body, “You know something, I think that might be my new favourite memory sugar.” Harry whispered, pulling away from your kiss.
“Did you just call me sugar?” You giggled.
“Yeah, because you’re sweet like sugar.”
***
“H baby, the fans are going mad for it!” You called from the kitchen, sat at a barstool at the kitchen island, four months had passed since your date and you and Harry had only got closer. The last few months had been a whirlwind, so much so that Harry had asked you to isolate with him, he got lonely easily, and the idea of living with you was enough to make lockdown pass quickly.
“They like it do they?” He asked, wrapping his arms around your shoulders, kissing your neck softly, “What did your mum think of it?”
“I think she liked it, she said that her friends from work thought it was erm, interesting.” You giggled.
“I’m glad she enjoyed it sugar.” He replied, squeezing you tightly.
“I’m quite surprised she was so positive about it, considering it was basically a fully clothed orgy.” You laughed, holding onto his arms.
“Excuse me, it was a very tastefully executed orgy thank very much.” Harry told you, spinning the bar stool so that you faced him, “But what was your favourite bit sugar?”
“You, all of you.” You whispered, placing kisses along his jawline, “As lovely as it is reading what your fans think, how about I show you how it’s done.” You continued, knowing the feelings it would stir up in Harry, “Bedroom?” You muttered into his ear.
“Bedroom.” He replied, scooping you up into a bridal carry, trying to get you up the stairs to the bedroom quicker than you could say Watermelon Sugar High.
