ok first of all love u love ur work u r like a modern day michaelangelo to me but of fics not scultptures if u know what i mean. seconly i have become unbearably fond of carlos sainz lately(kicked puppy who got fired and then his appendix said im moving out) and i wanted to see if u had any thoughts about him bc i think ur blorbofication of him would b extremley entertaing. love u have the best day ever!

Okay I’ll admit. Most of the thoughts I’ve had about Carlos Sainz jr revolve around him looking like That and coming from a family like That. And what if he were kind of a jerk about it? There’s a subplot in peachbellini’s incredible girl lando fic involving him being a misogynist asshole and I’ve reread that little section of the fic probably 4x since the initial read lol. I’m mostly uninterested in treating pro athletes like poor little meow meows. I want to torture and torment them not tuck them into bed generally.

So re Carlos recent ups (driving well! Won AUS!) and downs (no seat yet next year, appendix exploded), I feel strongly like he would be quietly losing his mind behind a veneer of masculine confidence. He has to act confident, that’s how powerful men act. Never mind that he feels like his life is unravelling in front of him. Mostly this has to do w the fact that I think girl Charles just broke up w him in this verse and is visibly much happier for it? And he’s trying to pretend it doesn’t bother him seeing her laughing and not devoting more thought to him than she would any other teammate.

It’s not like he was in love with her (debatable), but even before they dated he always had her attention, right when he walked in a room. She was always happy to bring him a water or a towel or (whatever), and he liked that for misogyny reasons. Didn’t think much about it bc that’s his due as a man in racing, but he’s sure noticing it now Charles isn’t going out of her way for him anymore. And he hates it!! Makes him feel like less of a man not being able to boss her around. He’s also having to confront the fact that even as a female driver she is more important to the team than he is! I feel like previously he wrote it off and wrote it off until he found out on social media that Lewis was getting his seat in 2025. Woof.

All this to say : he is a bubbling pot of something with the lid barely containing it all. And then he wins AUS! And I think in some way he expected Charles to treat him like she did the last time he won (BJ, attention on him all night), but she completely doesn’t lol. Is excited for him but is just as excited for lando. And laughs at him when he offhandedly, casually, mentions what she did for him last time. Doesn’t even treat it like a serious question, completely blows him off in a callous and borderline cruel way that comes out of left field for him, bc he’s never seen her direct that kind of attitude towards him. Like he occupies such a small portion of her mind that she treats him like any other annoying peon.

Ofc this ends w him mentioning this to another male racer expecting sympathy and getting the same kind of incredulous reaction. Another blow to his pride. And honestly I’d love it if he were saying that to/around Oscar , bc he feels like the perfect candidate to offer “hey if you still want that bj, mate…” ! Mean spirited offer, and Carlos is still in mega internalized homophobia mode. But also 👀 he’s horny, he’s mad, he’s frustrated, and he doesn’t really like Oscar. He could probably treat him however he wanted and Oscar wouldn’t sell it to any tabloids either. Tempting…

And Oscar does blow him! He just also makes him tear up fingering Carlos’ hole at the same time and then come so hard he almost falls over.

designer!suguru who gets tasked with showing you the ropes, who’s always so patient and kind despite your inexperience. diligent with his teaching but also so laidback, so easy to talk to… he looks intimidating, but he’s so polite that you can’t help but swoon a little. and he admires your enthusiasm so much…… grows fond of you soooo quickly bc you’re just such a breath of fresh air compared to the divas he’s forced to work with all the time. he thinks you’ve got real potential and he wants to nurture it.

and ofc you end up running into model!satoru eventually…. bc he’s always hanging around suguru whenever he gets the chance. and he’s maybe a little jealous that you’re hogging so much of his personal designer’s attention, but… he also thinks you’re so cute . T_T like a little puppy following suguru around… so excited to be apart of what you’ve dreamed of for so many years……… he looks into your eyes and sees the same sparkle he had before he made it big, and it makes his heart race.

yeah . i’m just thinking abt the peaceful coffee breaks with suguru….. how he’d insist on paying for your drink, ”since he’s your senior” (he wants to be your favorite </3)…… and how he’d just be so protective over his little intern. don’t get me started on the close proximity with satoru when you’re taking his measurements, the glance and smile he sends your way during an impromptu shoot… the way he always calls for you with a sweet coo of ”how’s my favorite intern doing today?”

Erm.. Miss Vegas I was reading your works during a lecture a few days ago because and I shit you not, my professor passed my seat and mouthed “Oh Wow! Interesting uh…literature by scream-pie? pied?”

I feel kind of embarrassed though because while he was walking through us and then stopped at me, he got flashed with that cute pink banner of yours, I think it was street racer! Geto one. (SCRUMPTIOUS by the way) Thankfully, he only skimmed the tiny synopsis displayed before I panicked and locked my phone, haha. It was for like seven seconds but felt like an eternity. Well! idk if I've said it before, but your portrayals of both Rouxls and Queen are among my favorites, and the way they are when you combine the two is the sole thing that got me to say "yes" to queenkaard. When I first saw it in the game and it started catching on as a ship, I was like "nooo I hc him as gay," but then after seeing your stuff I was like "oh nvm I totally see this now."

i think hearing "i didn't see this ship before, but after your art i understand it and/or even ship it myself" is one of the nicest compliments i get, because it makes me feel like i'm representing something meaningful and sweet about a pairing and having people understand what i think is so great and captivating about them. i've gotten a couple asks like this and sometimes i forget to respond but i always really appreciate them :) thank you very much

Tails continues to steal my attention in these movies

he was so good in this movie, he definitely had some great moments and i was cheering the entire time (or crying when sonic snapped at him and knuckles after tom was injured and his “but i thought the three of us were a team! i thought that’s what made us special!” SOBBING INTO MY HANDS BABY NOOO)

his scene with stone (which was fucking adorable btw), when he was going over the plan for GUN headquarters, throwing sonic through the barrier, getting knuckles to chuck him out of the eclipse cannon so he could save sonic ahhdhhdhdhsia the little guy was amazing!!

he also accidentally helped blast off a chunk of the moon but i think he’s allowed to do that. as a treat

i’ll never get over how movie sonic, knuckles, and now shadow all have had some moment with revenge and lost of a loved one, meanwhile tails is experiencing family for probably the first time ever and he’s just happy to be here

honestly all four boys were incredible (especially knuckles. i really liked knuckles in this movie)
