I was watching a music video about a werewolf family driving through different towns looking for a place that would accept them and where they could raise their baby daughter. The song to it was kinda country-rock, sung by a female singer, and it was about the beauty of life. I only remember the first line of the chorus, "Being friends with a newborn."

Eliot's eyes went straight to Hardison's leg. The splint had held up; it didn't seem that Eliot had gotten too rough with them last night. But he remembered something … Had he tried to bite Hardison?

Dropping the water bottle, Eliot pressed his palms over his eyes. Anger began to swell in him, desperate for an outlet that was nowhere to be found. He had to keep himself together, had to protect the team from himself. It was bad enough that they had seen the wolf. If they knew how much of a monster he truly was …
