Ok!! Finally have a name for this AU!!

This has the inspiration of hitman!john dory in it… but with a different backstory and how it came to be. But this is mostly on how Branch became what he is… i am creating the story in wattpad… and hopefully I can post the chapters in here!!

The AU is called Weretroll Branch and yeah… hope ya like this bit. :/

The story starts out with after loosing his grandma… and it happened right when the great escape happened…. The trolls are not as small as they are in the cannon verse they are as the size of cats…

Branch can transform into his wolf form without the full moon scheme…. And is easily a size of a big timber wolf… so yeah… hope ya like it!!

I'm Nickki, some ppl may recognize me from my Trolls account @nickki-d-k all of my weretrolls (werewolf trolls) are gonna go through slight redesigns so they're full werewolves (Orewolves in this case) as I feel they're story is too big and they need they're own world this new accountis 18+ only so just a heads-up. to explain the size thing uhhh I like to think not all trolls can do the growl/scream thing often found in various types of metal (and some types of rock) - so what if uhhh it's like a werewolf type thing? they can get bigger? idk mostly just an excuse to have beefy trolls

but it also adds the idea that ANY troll can have the possibility of being a 'weretroll' (scream troll? no idea what to call it)

Hello! I was wondering, what has been the most creative uses of Jim or his troll counterpart that you've so far in the fandom?

Wow that's a tough question. I've seen a lot of pretty cool AU's honestly. I have three that immidiately come to mind regarding Jim and his troll form, all pretty well known fics:

What the night brings by @blund3r-bust3r, in which Jim is bitten by a troll and sort of becomes a Weretroll, fantastic plot, excellent world building and everyone acts wonderfully in character.

A secret's worth by @rockymaidenvixen, Jim is transformed into a half troll by night by a bath bomb at the age of five. It's a series that so far hasn't reached Canon events yet, but God I'm excited for when they do.

Fallout by @megan0013, one of my all time favourites and featuring a unique twist on half changeling Jim. As Strickler is Jim's biological father in this. Also, Jim's troll form has wings, what could possibly be any cooler?

My headcanons/canon(s) for Thicket and other Troll Werewolves and Timbre Wolves

I don't know whether to say canon or headcanon if it's an OC but here's some canon(s) for Thicket and other troll werewolves(in my world) and timbre wolves. This is kinda long. Thicket( or Thick for short): -She was born a werewolf - Usually a loner due to social awkwardness/anxiety -She has the traditional mark of the beast on her right palm, which is a five pointed star ⭐ gem in the Trolls world, yellow in Thick's case. -Has two forms other than a troll: one being a common Timbre Wolf(black/gray in color with dark rainbow accents, unless she's currently happy and not gray)The other form being a true werewolf (beast)on full moons, which can walk upright and is bigger than a Timbre wolf. -Her wolf and beast fur are slightly curly -she can transform into a timbre wolf at anytime she pleases -Being born a werewolf, she naturally has higher control over her werewolf(beast) transformations and can technically turn into a werewolf whenever too, this still must be learned and practiced, and takes a lot of energy so it's not something she does often. -On full moons she will always turn into a werewolf she has no control over this, but she IS NOT a mindless beast, and completely is aware of everything and remembers everything the day after. - Has eyes that reflect light(like a wolf's) -Loves being a werewolf but still feels like other trolls would shun her. - She periodically makes her hair into the shape of a snarling wolf snout to scare off other trolls when she's had enough, this technique however.. never works on Branch, who usually just deadpans her with his arms crossed, usually with an "are you done yet?" look on his face - Thicket and Branch are grumpy buddies and love to hate things together, him being blue/aqua doesn't change this either, (yeah I hc that Branch is still a sarcastic little shit when he's happy too, just less of an outright asshole) - She can have hair on her forearms and calves sometimes, as well as small mutton chops(wolf chops) and a wolverine-like tail that looks like her hair. These traits are not always present - Tends to growl if she's upset - Likes tons of hair accessories and makes them as well - She's bitrollar (troll version of bipolar, I've hc'd that Branch is too XD in fact there's a comic about it) - Trollings don't seem to be afraid of her, likewise she puts up with alot of their shit - She can still talk while in timbre wolf form and beast form, but in beast form it's very difficult for others to even understand her, as she sounds very harsh and gravelly - The 4 stripes she has on both ears are tattoos, as well the leopard spots on the side of her head - Usually has a moon or moon phase theme in her hair or clothes, sometimes even the shape of a crescent 🌙 in her hair may be present Canons for other Troll Werewolves and Timbre Wolves (in my world) : Thicket also adheres to these canons - They have two forms other than a troll: A common timbre wolf, and a beast (wolf/troll cross - The timbre wolf and beast coloration are determined by the troll's own coloration (ie: hypothetically if Branch was a werewolf he'd be gray/black or aqua/dark blue shades with blue eyes, or if Poppy was a werewolf she'd be bright pink/magenta shades with pink eyes. Likewise a glitter troll would have glitter skin and fur - Regular (non werewolf) timbre wolves are usually dark purple or dark blue, with brighter color accents(though they can vary in color and patterns from region to region, pack to pack and potential domestication - A troll that is born a werewolf (as stated above) naturally has higher control over their transformations, both timbre wolf and beast, but this is an ability that must be learned and practiced(usually from a young age, this means with enough training and practice they'll be able to transform into a wolf and werewolf(beast) whenever they please. However it is extremely important to state that if they choose to transform into a werewolf(beast) without a full moon present it is exceedingly draining and they are weakened dramatically and need time to recover afterwards - A troll that has been bitten/marked/cursed have less natural control over their transformations but can learn and practice but it's takes longer than a born werewolf. - Werewolves (both born and turned) will always transform into a werewolf(beast) on a full moon and have no control over this (unless there's some magic or possibly herbal element involved). - They remember everything during and after any transformations. - Those born a werewolf are less likely to ever be a mindless beast as most, from a young age are trained how to transform and control their transformations properly. - Those who have been newly turned/marked/cursed can be very dangerous if not deadly, for they cannot control the nature of their new body and tend to act more animalistic until they gain more control , as a result... tragedies can happen when one has just become a werewolf. - All werewolves have eyes that reflect light - All werewolves have the 'mark of the beast' on their right palm (which is a five pointed star ⭐ gem in the trolls world which can be any color. - There are several proven ways to become a werewolf: Born(there's a werewolf in your lineage), bitten, cursed by a spell, certain magic potions/spells/old rituals have been rumored to work as well, lastly drinking water from the paw print of a wild Timbre Wolf(I used real werewolf lore for these cuz I'm obsessed with werewolves) - Timbre wolves and beast form both have haunting and beautiful howls that can both synthesize and auto-tune at will - Beast forms can walk upright and have a medium wolverine-like tail - As trolls they look a bit different than normal trolls. Typical werewolf traits: slightly pointed ears, large feral looking eyes, pointy canines(top and bottom), claws on hands and feet, can have hair on their forearms and calves as well as a mutton chops(wolf chops) and a medium wolverine-like tail(extra hair and tail optional, but commonly occur in the days before a full moon as well) - Other trolls are usually weary of werewolves, as a result many werewolves live with their own kind in packs or troll tree werewolf villages - Beast form is noticeably larger than the common timbre wolf form - They can talk in timbre wolf form and beast form but beast form is usually too gravelly for others to understand I'll probably add more to this later cuz I'm sure I forgot stuff but this is a good start I think to help people further understand Thicket and other werewolves in my trolls world. If anybody wishes to make their own werewolf or timbre wolf oc that adheres to these headcanons/canon(s), I say go for it! Credit would be cool of course, but not a requirement.
