Unfortunately it's gonna be a while xD But I can say, it's a pretty big plot point after Forces and Frontiers! If you want a small taste of it, in "Fried Liver with a Side of Emotional Indigestion" Sonic lets a little bit of his jealousy show. It's not the focus, but it's there, even if he denies it~

If you're asking more about how Sonic felt when Tails kept going off with their friends without him during "Sharing is Caring" though... that's definitely a thought worth considering! Sonic honestly wasn't super jealous though. He meant it when he said it was only a "little bit."

The moments in the fic where he was a little short with Tails are where he felt it the strongest, but Sonic doesn't like feeling irritated with Tails - and it's almost impossible for him to hold a grudge, he'll be the first to get over their arguments while Tails will ice him out for hours - so he lets himself take a deep breath, goes for a quick run to clear his head, and then he pretty much feels better. Usually. His jealousy kinda works the same way. He runs it off, doesn't let it stew.

Plus, he really is happy and proud that Tails has people he can rely on now. He doesn't want to get in the way of Amy or Knuckles bonding with him. Sonic's jealousy was mostly focused on thoughts like, "why can't Tails get what he needs from me? He's always been able to get what he needs from me." So he envied that somehow Amy and Knuckles were doing a better job of that than him. Not enough to make him stop it from happening, but enough for him to be grumpy about it.

Sonic and Tails are pretty similar when they're jealous xD They avoid each other and avoid talking about it because that will absolutely fix everything! :D

Tbh he kind of went into this not expecting much but it turns out he had homo magus heritage from his Nightingale roots and he actually manages to call upon the power of the stars.

He figures he can blame the vaporized wall on ghosts.

Meanwhile, a foreboding feeling like cold shivers run down the spines of several magic users that they can only describe as "a child having figured out they need to switch off the safety on their mini nuke launcher in order to fire it"

The JLD is scrambling to locate the source of the surge in magic power before someone with bad intentions can get there.

Do I want Talia discovering her thought to be dead son to be alive? Yes. Do I want her to find him while investigating Amity Park when the League gets reports of 'Lazarus creatures/water'? Yes.

DO I WANT HER TO KNOCK ON THE FENTON'S DOOR, fully ready to pretend/honey talk her way into the house to uncover what the Fenton's know, ONLY TO MEET A LITTLE ELLIE?!

Ellie whose eyes and hair look like a copy of her Beloved but she can see bits and pieces of herself as well. Talia knows the child in front of her was not fully her's though but everything makes sense when she hears a voice, a voice she hasn't heard in ages but as a mother just knows, speak out.

Since book 7 part 5 (the part where we meet Meleanor/Maleanor 👀) is coming to EN this month, i would love to see your take on lilia’s proposal to meleanor! i mean they were like little kids right? it couldn’t have been that serious…i think the only reason she even brought it up again is because she could tell lilia still genuinely loved her…(even if he didn’t realize it himself?) but, oh well!
