FINALLY FINISHED THIS!! my own interpretation and additions to Sebastian's room in sdv ! Tried to keep anything in the image from the year 2010 or predated. i think theres a few give and takes but i really like the "older brother" early 2000s grunge aesthetic on another level and i thought who better fits it than him. I put a lot of references to stuff i personally like as well ^_^

Hm. See, the problem of having more than a week (almost two weeks? I've lost track tbh) of days in a row where all my writing blocks seem to have disappeared and I am writing and editing thousands of words each day is that when I have a day where I "only" write about 2,000 is that my brain now goes "aw, that isn't very much."

And I gotta slap my brain and tell it that no!! That is quite a lot actually!! Plus that's not even counting the chapter I edited today which is a pretty long chapter (roughly 10k).

I have done very little writing since midway through 2020. Back then 2,000 words in a single day would have been a major accomplishment. Nevermind doing significantly more than that multiple days in a row.

Brain can we please celebrate this and be happy instead of disappointed that we didn't do more?

#i am also nervously eyeing the next month or so cause the last time i was writing every single day was for nano in 2018 and 2019 #and both years the moment nano ended i hit burnout so hard i stopped writing for like six months afterward #i'm just not built for writing every single day for extended periods of time #and while i am *very* excited about all the writing i've been doing recently and i'm really enjoying myself #i'm also just... waiting for the brick wall i will inevitably hit soon #though i *have* made it past a checkpoint i was also nervous about #well. almost #most of what i've been doing has actually been rewriting an abandoned story #i felt i had to redo it in order to continue it #and i was nervous that i'd catch up with the place i dropped it last time #and get stuck again #but today i kept on going in the next chapter #i haven't finished it yet so i'm still cautious but i do have quite a bit of it done
