I wish I knew how to have a proper social life anymore but somehow being actively part of any community has become like. weirdly super difficult for me. I don't know what happened, why it became so hard to reach out and be friends with people, but like. considering I could count on 1 hand the number of people who actually ever talk to me first, I should really try to get better about it if I ever want to be part of a friend group again

always has an arm around your waist. and he always has to call you my man/my lady, otherwise it’s ‘honey’ and i’m not elaborating. he thinks he’s so smooth (dont tell him you can hear the fans whirring below his body). you’re, what, 2 years into this relationship and he’s still blushing at the ears and stuttering when you smile at him.

he can be smooth, sometimes. it’s all in the southern drawl, and also just him being quite touchy in general. has also like, 100% said, “well, hello, nurse” once or twice with a whistle when you walked in the room.

he’s not the biggest hand holder—he doesn’t like his hands at all—so he’d rather just squash you in tight next to him as much as he can.

he’s basically your guard dog. he’s always attached to you somehow, will bark and bite at anything that he doesn’t like coming close to you, and he feels like the king of the world knowing that he, some stupid hunk of scrap metal and junk, bagged you. nobody knows how he did it. he doesn’t even know. sometimes he thinks he’s dreaming.

he’s feel like an absolute gentleman as well, so there’s that too. he’s going to tickle you at any given opportunity, as well as give you a little squeeze. he’s got that sort of cuteness aggression inside him i think. if your back is turned, he’ll pinch your sides and nip at your neck like a puppy. he’s like that.

speaking of your back, somebody’s gotta call the mechanic if you’re wearing a top with a low or exposed back, or if you just take the damn shirt off entirely. he’s like a victorian man seeing ankles for the first time if he sees even an inch of your spine. why are you seducing him like this. please stop staring at him with heart eyes when he’s stumbling over his words.

he can’t join you on beach days unfortunately—sand and water not great for the robo-body—but he will be reluctant to let you leave, considering you’ve got basically nothing on and he wants you all to himself.

he also loves your legs. please swing them on his lap and use his as a foot stool. he won’t even complain. don’t get him wrong, he loves you in formal wear; suit, dress, whatever you want, but by the gods when you wear shorts or a skirt his brain melts.

appreciates nice shoes as well. fancy formal wear sort of stuff. he’s a total sucker for it.

if you wear heels, he loves those too (makes you look taller so rawr) (he will do that cat purr rolling tongue noise i have no clue what it’s called) (also he knows any sort of fancy shoes hurt your feet so YAY he gets to carry you home!!!!!! he wins!!!!!!!!!) (he’ll hold your shoes in one hand and carry you like you’re made of glass. doesn’t matter if you’re embarrassed. to be fair, he thinks you deserve to be carried everywhere. you’re way too ethereal to be touching the floor in any sort of way).

Dating Jayce is a dream come true. You two have been friends for as long as you can remember. You've had a crush on him since you were both twelve; you're breaching into your thirties now.

He's always been a massive sweetheart, willing to help anyone out, incredibly smart, funny, witty, if a bit naive with a massive tunnel vision when he's inspired.

This new look has you blushing like a tween again, rather than you being his partner of almost five years.

You run a hand through Jayce's longer hair and bring it down to his beard; the back of your hand caressing his face, “Your opinion matters most. Do you want to keep this new look, or do you want to shave it?”

Jayce looks into the mirror in a contemplative silence, before smiling at you and putting the shaving kit away.

“I like this look. Those council members can kiss my ass, they're just too lazy to make new posters and cups.”

You laugh at that, throwing your head back before kissing his shoulder. Jayce whirls you around and gives you a passionate kiss, he wraps his arms around you and lightly lifts you into the air. You wrap your arms around his neck.

“I love you, you know that?”

“I love you too.”

“You better, you're stuck with me for all eternity.”

You beam a grin at him, “I wouldn't have it any other way. Now, when's this meeting? Let's dress you up so nicely that those members choke on their own spit and hopefully die.”

i think he'd be pretty good at keeping things lowkey. he acts the same towards everyone with some exceptions to you, so i'd say 10/10.

definitely not touchy in public (nor in private to be honest), but he's definitely into the little moments.

little moments like making eye contact from across the room and sending you the slightest hints of a smile.

or even grazing your pinkies together when your walking side-by-side in thr middle of the campus hallways.

there are bits of physical affection here and there, but the main thing that gives this man away is the quality time and acts of services that he does towards you.

hatiham doesn't spend nearly as much time with others as he does with you. you're always with him whether it be in the library studying, in a coffee shop while he reads a book, or in museums looking around and scuptures and paintings.

it's especially in crowded places like museums and coffee shops where he does small actions of adoration and affection.

like when you guys go on study or book dates, you'll feel his eyes on you when you're trying to write something down or read something.

when you look at him to ask you what's wrong, he's simply staring at you with a soft expression that screams nothing but admiration and love. it's quite endearing really, to see his ears turn the lightest shade of pink afterwards.

there's a constant redness of his usually pale cheeks is a dead giveaway to your relationship, and he's pretty protective too so i'd say a 6/10.

whenever you catch xiao staring at you, his cheeks and the tips of his ears immediately burn red, and he whips his head around so fast.

people always notice and his friends always tease him for it, but he can't help such a reaction when what he thinks is the most stunning person is looking right at him.

or whenever he looks around the room to search for you only to find that you're already looking at him… his cheeks are literally on fire.

the adorable glow on his cheeks isn't the only sign he gives though. mind you, this man is very protective over you.

✧.* spectacular spider-man (2008-2009, 2 seasons): suitable for 7-8+, but i'd say it'd be okay for littles who regress younger to watch, too!! honestly, my all-time favorite spider-man cartoon!!! not only is it fun to watch while little, you can truly appreciate the show when you're big, too!!! josh keaton's voicework as spider-man is just- ahhhh it's so amazing imo!! the story is really good, the animation/style is just so iconic, and the colors are very easy on the eyes!!! (especially if you're sensitive to bright colors when little/in general) absolute banger of a theme song, too!!!

✧.* x-men: the animated series (1992-1997, 5 seasons): rated for around 7-8+, but i do admit that there can be some scary scenes for especially younger/more sensitive littles. honestly, this show is great!!! i loved all the different story arcs, how colorful the show is, the characters themselves- a lot of cool stuff about this show!!! be warned, there's a sudden drop in quality during season 5... i think they switched animation studios/va's or something because season 5 is NOT the best season of the show, i'll tell you that... 0_0

✧.* x-men '97 (2024-present, 1 season so far): rated for 14+, so this show is more suitable for teen regressors. it's a continuation of x-men:tas, and oh man... this is it. my favorite cartoon of all time!!! the animation is just oh so beautiful!!! the fight scenes are awesome!!! the soundtrack- oh golly the soundtrack!!! the remastered x-men:tas opening is just- wow!!! but, there's definitely reasons why it's rated 14+... not gonna spoil anything, but there's a lot of scenes in the show that can be upsetting for younger littles. trust me, watching some scenes when you're little is just- too much sometimes... (speaking from experience) it's an amazing show, but watch at ur own risk if you're a younger regressor!!!

✧.* batman: the animated series (1992-1995, 4 seasons): i'd say it's for around ages 9-10+, since it can be fairly dark at times. (same goes for a lot of batman related media!!) honestly, this show's pretty good!!! the style of the show is very dark visually, so it's easy on the eyes for those with bright color sensitivities!!! the artstyle itself is also very nice to look at!!! the voicework is amazing as well, especially kevin conroy's (rip) performance as batman himself!!! from what i can remember, the plotpoints were also pretty on-par!! i remember liking the show a lot when i was a kid!! :)

✧.* hulk vs. wolverine (not a show but an animated movie, 2009): this one's rated pg-13, since there's depictions of violence. but, i gotta say- this movie had me hyped up when i watched it as a kid!!! this was part of a straight to video two-movie collection, (the other being "hulk vs. thor") and i gotta say... this movie was awesome!!! the fight scenes were rad as heck, the animation was amazing, even deadpool was in the movie!!! (which, fun fact, was his first appearance in animation!!! other than the 2 second cameo in x-men:tas) very fun movie!!!

“Is there something on my face?” Airielle asked Josh, after catching him staring at her for the umpteenth time that night. Josh chuckled, biting his lip as his eyes scanned over her face. 

“Nah, just admiring how beautiful you are.” Airielle rolled her eyes and tried to hide her smile by picking up her glass and taking a drink. “You don’t understand how happy you made me by giving me a second chance.” Airielle awkwardly cleared her throat and averted her gaze. She did not - was not giving Josh a second chance. He had sex with somebody else and there was no coming back from that. 

She understood that she had given him the wrong impression by having sex with him. But she was vulnerable and Josh was there saying how much he loved her and…. She just kinda let herself get lost in the moment. 

“Josh, maybe we should talk - “ She started but was cut off by Jon. 

“Aye, Trin look at them, Ain’t they cute as hell. Man, I'm happy y’all got through y’alls bullshit.” Airielle forced a smile on her face at Jon’s words. She wanted to yell out that she and Josh were not together but everyone looked so happy.  “To love!” Jon called out, raising his glass in the air.

“To love!” Josh and Trin repeated, raising their glasses too, Airielle raised her glass as well but didn’t say anything. She let out a sigh as she brought her glass to her lips and downed it in one gulp. ‘This is gonna be a long weekend.’  She thought. 

“You wanna take a walk on the beach?” Josh asked her as they walked back to the villa. She nodded but then looked down at her heels.  “I’ll hold them for you.” He said as he bent down to help her unbuckle and slide them off the feet.  He gently grabbed her hands and laced their fingers together as they made their way onto the beach. “You alright, you been quiet since dinner.” 

“I’m fine.” She replied softly, looking out onto the ocean as the sun started to set. 

“You sure? I’m here if you wanna talk Airielle.” When she didn’t reply, he unlinked their fingers and cupped her jaw, bringing her attention to him. “Talk to me Airi.” 

“I can’t be with you.” She blurted out. His heart sank as her words registered in his brain. 

“What?” He asked, as he searched her eyes for any sign of hesitation. “But you said you love me.” 

“I do love you Josh. I just can’t be with you.” She let out a sigh and removed his hand from her face. “I didn’t lie about loving you, I would never lie about that.” She paused as if to find the right words. “It’s just everytime I look at you all I see is you and her.” 

“Rih, come on.” He groaned out. “How many times I gotta apologize for that. It was a mistake -” 

She scoffed, cutting him off. “It wasn’t a mistake Joshua. You invited her over your place for a reason. You wanted to get back at me. You wanted to hurt me like I hurt you.” Josh scoffed and started shaking his head. 

“Nah, don’t say that shit Airielle. You know damn well I didn’t do that shit to intentionally hurt you.” 

“Josh, you could have gone out on a date with her and that would have been enough payback. But no you had to take it a step further and fuck her. I can’t get back together with you and pretend that everything is fine. She works with us, what if-” 

“Raymond works with us too!” He shouted, growing frustrated with her. To him, she was being completely unreasonable, yes he fucked up by having sex with Yara but, he’s apologized over and over for it. What more could she want from him? 

“I never fucked Ray. Never even thought about fucking him. You on the other hand, had to have had thoughts about fucking her. It’s been something you must’ve been wanting to do for a while and I guess seeing me and Raymond at that bar.” She paused and shrugged and she felt tears starting to prick her eyes. “I guess you just decided to say fuck it.” 

“So what now huh?” Josh asked, feeling like his chest was about to cave in. “You fuck me here and when we go back to Pensacola you just gon act like nothing happened between us? Just gon toss me aside after everything we’ve been through?!” 

Airielle flinched at the bass in his voice. "I need time, Josh,” she said, her voice trembling, "I need time to figure things out."

"Figure what out?" Josh snapped, his temper flaring. "You think I don't regret what happened? You think I don't wish I could take it all back?" Airielle was happy that the part of the beach they were in was relatively empty because he was just getting louder and louder. 

“But you can’t!” She snapped back. “I can’t just forgive and forget Joshua!” 

“You not innocent in this shit neither Airielle.” Josh barked out, struggling to contain his emotions. “If you never broke up with me, we wouldn’t be sitting here having this dumb ass conversation.” Airielle scoffed and crossed her arms over her chest, glaring at him. 

“"I never said I was blameless, Josh, but I also didn’t fuck anybody else.”  Josh shook his head, this conversation was going nowhere. 

“You know what.” He said with a humorless chuckle as he passed her he heels and then threw his hands up. "I'm done arguing with you," he growled, upper lip curling as he looked at her. "You want space? Fine. But don't expect me to be waiting around for you to make up your damn mind."

Airielle finally let her tears fall as she watched him walk away. With each step he took away from her the ache in her chest grew heavier. And as he disappeared into the distance, taking a piece of her heart with him, Airielle knew that she was truly alone.
