General info:

Is the oldest member of the team, which I guess makes them somewhat the most responsible Friend of the group. In general they are very mature compared to the others and always tries to solve things with proper reason when things go wrong. Although they seem very grown up when around the rest of the team they cuss a lot and also get involved in some alcohol parties. They’ve also got a gambling problem. When they are determined to get something done properly, like winning a game in soccer, they won‘t let anything get in their way, which also causes them to slip and do some mistakes on the way. They don‘t have a big ego like Julius or Amy but they do have the pride that hinders them to acknowledge some of their problems or mistakes (like gambling). They are very familiar with Kong since they worked as an intern at his Tattoo/piercing shop (:3) and generally has a good mentor & student relationship with him. They also have a slight distaste for Julius because of his narcissistic/selfish behavior. They also call Julius out for a lot of shit things he does or say. They play either defense or middlefield in soccer, they joined the team because they made a bet with their mom that they should pursue at least ONE sport to get more pocket money. And it turned out they found the right one…

General info:

Is the youngest and smartest member in the group (you could say the Raban of the crew). Is adopted and has two moms which he loves very much. As you can see he is a nerd, a huge nerd for everything basically, but especially for soccer. Although he started off as a regular smartass, that you would see everywhere in German elementary schools, he slowly becomes a little metal head and once being friends with the others he starts expressing himself more openly about his interests towards punk culture and metal. He‘s smart and always determined to find solutions to things, knows many facts and is very optimistic. He‘s very naive though and overthinks when it comes to serious situations. He has difficulties having empathy for others and understanding their actions driven by their emotions, which is why he doesn‘t understand when people get upset when he says something like telling the truth in some situations. He did those mistakes when first joining the team, and continued to believe he‘s very unlikable because of it. He overthinks and grows upset very fast. Luckily the team slowly starts to understand his difficulties and support him through the struggle. Elyona helped him a lot when he was mentally unwell. Tobias sees Elyona as an idol and admires them so much, that he slightly developed a crush on them. (That was before he knew they were nonbinary) Elyona obviously rejected him but they are still very close friends anyways. He also admires Elyona‘s and Kong‘s piercings because he also really wants to get some but is too afraid of the pain. He‘s very happy to have found a save space where is loved and cared for and that it‘s a FUCKING soccer team!

General info: He‘s the supportive friend of the group. He doesn‘t get angry very often and has a calm personality. He’s not very social but he‘s kind, understanding and really cares for the happiness of others and would do anything to make sure the people he cares about feel loved. That makes him undermine his own happiness though and forgets to take care of himself. He might be a little people pleaser and is easily taken advantage of by others with bad intentions. Like Julius did when he was still a tennis player, which makes Ivan deal with a difficult relationship with Julius once he also joins the team. He gets along with Dominique and is the only person he can really open up to despite Dominique being Julius best friend and knowing what Julius did to Ivan. Dominique tried to justify Julius behavior which caused a little bit of messy drama between the boys. Ivan used to live somewhere else but moved into Grünwald and started off as a lone wolf. He only played soccer with his older sister who serves in the army. So he doesn‘t see her often anymore. He plays middlefield and is very talented at soccer. When Amy and Nasira saw him cook at soccer during sport class they approached him to join their team which made him come out of comfort zone.

Considering that I‘ve made Markus be from Thailand I thought I‘d give him an a Thai name of some sort since I doubt Thai ppl called their kids german names back then. His actual full name in this au would be: Mukulezim Kunal

Mukulezim is a mix between two Hindi names, Mukul and Lulezim, Mukul meaning „blossom“ and Lulezim „blooming“. His surname or familyname Kunal basically means „lotus“.

But Markus has difficult feelings towards his own name…

Kunal is the family name and „purple lotus“ is their family business that has been earning them money through shady business, like the production of drugs. I had the thought of Markus being from a mafia family that has been selling drugs for centuries, and he‘d be the next heir. And at first Markus was very much into that idea and stole things for his father to make him proud. It was like a fun little game for him. But soon enough he‘d realize that his family has a dark side that he overlooked.

So he has a sense of guilt about his name, knowing that it represents the business of his family and all their bad doings, which makes him dislike his own name. So when his new found family grants him a different name, he‘s actually free for once, from all his families expectations, cruelty and wrong doings.

Also a few hcs:

His father always tells him he was meant to be a perfect asset to the family like „blooming potential“ which is also a reason Markus dislikes his name

Is running away from his father

But he’s being followed by purple lotus goons

Is first closed off when he joins the bunch but slowly opens up and becomes more friendly towards the others

History au full body designs, I simplified them a little bit to make ehm easier to draw hopefully. I also changed Markus‘ color palette cuz purple just fits him better.

Those are just a few snippets of ideas I have for the au…I can’t really put my thoughts about this au into words so as you can see I just draw…a lot of it. So I’m hoping that can explain where I imagine this au to go…
