Well I have to say that I think most of the demons would be offended in some way at that.

It's funny because I've always thought about how aware the demons are that MC is essentially dating all of them. Like it's clearly something you can do and I always play the game that way, but they kinda just pretend it isn't a thing. Or they sometimes mention it, but there don't seem to be any repercussions?

So on the one hand, they might not care at all if they're all aware that MC is doing that and they're already cool with it. Well, I dunno. I think they'd probably still be a little miffed, but they might be able to let it go a little easier.

But in general, I think it might depend on which name MC calls out, you know?

For instance, you can be sure that Satan would lose his shit if MC called him Lucifer. He would be mildly annoyed about any other name, but if you call him Lucifer? Yikes.

Similarly, I think Diavolo would actually laugh if you called him Lucifer. He'd probably be like wow what a compliment! Anybody else and he'd probably be like hmmm I'm not super fond of that, but I forgive you because you're MC.

I think Lucifer would be mad no matter whose name you said. How dare you, MC. Can't you see that he is the one making you feel this good right now? You're gonna hafta make it up to him.

Mammon would pout. I think he might even develop some kind of complex about it. You would need to reassure him a lot to get him to feel better about it.

Due to being the Avatar of Envy, I really think Levi would also lose his shit about it, no matter whose name you said. Levi is normally very subby and anxious, but I think when his jealousy gets the better of him, he can get intense. Miiiiight go a little crazy with trying to make you orgasm again and again until you get his name right.

Asmo would laugh at first, but then he'd be offended. C'mon, MC! He's the Avatar of Lust!! How could you possibly even have room in your head for anyone else when you're with him, huh?? Forever after that, he'll only have sex with you in front of a mirror so you can't forget which demon you're with.

Beel would be confused and probably a little hurt, but he wouldn't get mad about it. However, if you called him Belphie, he wouldn't be upset. He'd be like oh did you want him to join?

Belphie on the other hand would be angry but in a quieter pissy sort of way. Like he'd start acting petulant with you. But similarly to Beel, if you called him Beel, he'd suggest having him join too lol.

Fanart of my own fanfiction (Chimera Teto x Android Miku)

Good news! When I woke up and looked at my art again today, I liked it, so here's the uncolored version! I trust you tumblr people, so here you go! You may view. This technically means I've drawn UTAU Teto (here) and SynthV Teto, but I really want to color this and take my time doing so, so here are the lines before it turns into something else hahaha 😂😂😂 Read More for the stuff I wanted to write last night but was too tired to (also the art time lapse)

I showed like two WIPs of different ideas on Twitter but none of them were this LOL (just goes to show how much I wanna draw and see of these two specifically) but the reason I decided to go with this is 'cuz that fanfic I wrote in like one day really got me excited and it made me really want to draw them as I was imagining more stuff about them. Here I'll talk about what I had in mind

I love chimera Teto, especially her majestic wings, and what I drew here is basically inspired by that! Teto's basically the only "living, sentient" thing around Miku so far (I dunno how to approach adding more creatures just yet), which makes Miku extra interested in her. But basically Miku likes Teto's wings and tail too and is very fascinated by them.

I had an idea where Miku is just holding or playing with Teto's tail out of nowhere and complimenting the heck out of her, and that was condensed into this piece. It was too crowded on Miku's side to have Teto's tail there as well, but the reason Teto's embarrassed (tsundere is nice, aint it xD) is 'cuz Miku is indeed praising the heck out of her. Calling her cute and saying how cool her wings are and whatnot.

The dialogue kinda goes like, "Your wings are so cool! And I really like how expressive your tail is! I wonder what I would do with a tail. It's so cute! Actually, now that I think about it, all of you is really cute!!" (Teto, embarrassed: "Stop talking now.") wwww

Miku does have a kinda tail actually! It's the chain on top of her skirt. As an android, I was thinking it works as sort of a battery plug or USB or something. I can show off more of that later (since it's really small here lol) but she can use it to receive electricity and recharge herself, I guess~. (Note to self: make it bigger?)

I haven't shown off much of my art style, but most (normal) characters usually don't have pupils. (See: this Teto, who's a living breathing creature.) As a result, I decided to give Miku pupils (kinda robot-like) to make her seem like more of a robot. She also wears the thing (headphones) over her ears, of course, which I can also use to make her seem more robot-like. There's no green flashing of code in her eyes right now but I might draw that sometime too, after my loads of other ideas...

Teto's wings aren't fragile. They're probably firm, hard, and could even be scaly/rough (up to my own whims or the reader's own preference). Her letting Miku touch her (wings) is probably a huge display of trust/confidence. Teto's wings are strong enough to carry her far distances and even allow her to fly in bad weather, I think. It's up to Teto herself how much energy/desire she has to do things like that though.

This is mentioned in the fic too, but Teto probably folds her wings a lot so they don't get in the way. She's kinda like a bird. I think her silhouette against the sun or moon, with full wingspan, is probably majestic (I'm imagining the Batman symbol for some reason lol). I know some people color Teto's wings as purple, but I specified black in my fic to match her tail. ^^

In order for her wings to breathe, there are probably holes in the back of her outfit to accommodate them, but they're only big enough for the wings (ellipses/ovals probably): she either tears/cuts holes into the shirts she wears for her wings or they already fit her wings so there's no problem. I wonder if Teto made her UTAU outfit herself in this setting. xD (A girl has to pass the time SOMEHOW plus she's probably at least a little bit handy when it comes to clothes and stuff (survival).)

If, while I'm coloring, I need to make adjustments to the seating and lineart and all that, I will, but I figured I'd show off what made me stay up 'til 5 AM last night and then get embarrassed to post 'cuz I thought I wasn't finished yet. I woke up and I liked it, so I'm just gonna put it in this here blog. c:

but yeah I really really hc Steve as being super high masking, very capable socially, very able to read people. he's used so much of his life to think about others and be what's best in any possible situation. he always wants to be perfect in his interactions with people, wants to 'win' at it. wants to be the best version of himself for every person that he meets. and he mostly does. he's good at it, he's smart and a lot of people follow the same sort of conversions, expect similar things. he’s been around enough people and been in enough situations to have scripts and reactions to most scenarios. he can recognise patterns well and so he does that, but with people, over and over and over. so much so that he doesn't even think about it now, doesn't really even realise what he doing.

he’s very capable, very good and smart socially, but it's to his detriment. it means no one really knows him. it means he doesn't really know himself.

it's like he's a little perfect puppet and when he's alone it feels like this freak monster comes out; with all these feelings and thoughts and emotions that he doesn't know what to do with, doesn't know if they're normal. and he doesn't know how to tell anyone about it either, how to express it or talk about in the right way.

because he's so so scared of being made fun of, or being alone; of being told off, or being weird. and sometimes it makes him so sad, because he doesn't always know how to stop - he's so quick to respond wth his scripts that he forgets to think about what he really thinks, really feels. and he can't stop.

to unmask, at times, most times, feels herculean - to show someone who you really are? that feels impossible. terrifying. to ask for time to think? to risk saying something wrong? being honest feels deeply unnatural somehow - to be honest about how he feels, what he thinks, what he needs. he just, he's never done that before...

so when he's navigating these people, these relationships he so so cares about. with Robin and Eddie and Dustin and Hopper, even.

this is the slew of feelings he has to wade through when trying to be close to them, to keep them, to do what they ask of him. this is what he has to work through. and sometimes, sometimes they act as if it's so easy. as if it is so easy to say the honest truth when asked 'what's up?' or 'what do you think?' or 'what do you want?'

that's not easy, its never been easy. and it makes him feel like a freak once he realises it should be.

Hey! So one of my characters has fibromyalgia and I have her using crutches for it. My problem is that I was on crutches a while aback and I remember them being like really painful on the hands (grip wise). Is there any way to like make the handles softer to stop the grip from hurting other than buying a custom set of crutches (from what I’ve seen they’re ridiculously expensive). Hello!

If your character is using crutches long-term (Such as for a chronic condition/permanent disability), they would likely be using forearm crutches, which are different from the kind of crutches you use for a temporary injury.

Forearm crutches are much better for longer use because they are more comfortable and can help prevent damage caused by long-term use of regular crutches.

That said, if you're referring to regular crutches, there are several options available to make them more comfortable. Virus mentioned a few products for padding below so I'll just add that there's also DIY ways to improve the comfort when using regular crutches.

One of the main ways that I've seen it done (And I've used myself back in the day) is to take a hand towel and secure it around the top via duct tape. It helped a lot to prevent bruising around my armpits/upper arms when using them.

Virus covered most of what I wanted to go over below so I'll end my part here!

Hello lovely asker!

I use regular crutches on and off! 😃 Forearm crutches and canes don't work too well with my body but normal crutches have always been comfortable for me!

They actually make these paddings that go around the part for under the arm and for around the handle part, usually secured with Velcro or a button clasp. Some have like memory foam, some are more of a stuffing texture (sorta fluffy), there's some gel ones, some are more like moleskin where they're not padded but they prevent friction, and sometimes there's a neat little bag that comes with that hangs on the side of them. Of course the hand made option is always very good too, which a lot of people do. Having the crutches decorated/customized is an cool option which I mean a lot of us do with stickers, washi tape, charms, keychains, other things that you can safely decorate mobility aids with.

But Icarus is very right though. I don't use my crutches everyday I use them whenever I injure myself or need support. My body is very loosy goosy for a lack of better words and so I often injure my lower body very frequently, so I often just need the support. But I also lean on everything around my house and use things for support. My old medical pole, I do this with my wheelchair, the counters, the handles on doors and the fridge. Most everything I named comes up to right below my shoulder or higher so I don't have to lean over to lean on anything or in an uncomfortable position.

I think this is an interesting to think of: does this work for your character?

If it's no, maybe not, and you still want to show regular crutches being used, one thing you can do actually is show the character start with underarm crutches and then change to forearm crutches as their long term aid. Or even show that they change in between them; using their forearm crutches for most of their movement/activities while using the underarm ones for something quick or as a quick grab or if their forearm crutches break etc.

But also if you're doing a situation where it's like post-apocalytic setting, poor area/the character grew up poor, or other situations like that, it is very likely for the character to use underarm crutches rather than forearm crutches. Forearm crutches can be about double to triple the price of what normal crutches are so they are a bit more expensive. These are all little factors to consider.

I think I accidentally double dosed on my spironolachtone and now my head is throbbing something fierce. I really need to organize my meds by days of the week some alternative way if I can't afford the pill box organizer yet.

I don't remember if I woke up and took the meds or not, but I think I might have. If I did I definitely went immediately back to sleep. I slept in today since I finally have a day off so that could be what's causing my head to hurt too. Idk...

Woke up and found myself grabbing my chest while rubbing the sleep from my eyes. I can feel my boobs just sort of migrate to the sides when I sleep on my back. Most times I don't even notice they're their until they bounce, swing, or something. I guess most times I'm wearing a bra so having them free flowing hits different.

Cuddle the cat, feed the tortoise, make breakfast, and am now sitting here on the couch with a cup of yesterday's coffee. Been listening to the Magnus Archives and finished episode 100. What a trip, but I have to freshen up and get ready for the day. So many tasks on my to do list.

This is to notate how normal this feels, incredibly ordinary even. I know I don't show my age well, but I definitely feel like a babe in her 30's. Tired from overwork, needing coffee to function becauss I'm unmedicated for my ADHD, into weird, quirky, niche hobbies, waking up like a hot mess, spine crumbling, etc... Have over 3 decades of fatigue built up, no longer care about being seen as cringe, and love having the cozy time.

I never pictured living this long. I never pictured just being able to wake up and feel ordinary. I only sorta vaguely know what I'm doing with myself. Am content to just have comfort and quiet as much as it is taking time to get used to. I definitely enjoy the more leisurely pace and being able to take my time. I also get why JRR Tolkien had the hobbits being 30 before they were considered adults.

Last note: I find myself wondering if what I'm writing is going to be palatable to others and then quickly discarding that notion because this is a space for me to write and remember my experiences. I'm not invested in whether anyone reads this or not. If you find it useful; great. If you think it's garbage; scroll on. If no one sees it; still cool. I really don't care to have clout.

The full breakdown that isn't really a breakdown bc I still need to write scenes, but I wanted to give the general idea of what this little au will be about/of

okay, so BASICALLY, Leo is the only one dropped during the famous Lou Jitsu escape, the other three having been rescued.

At about two or three years old, young enough for Donnie to eventually forget he had a family, minus Leo because he technically never stops looking, he leaves home in search of the missing brother (twin) they (he) would have had.

This leads to an eventual failure, a new home found on Staten Island, and meeting April first (as most people seem to believe he does).

I want Donnie to have met April, Cassandra, and all the villains early plus if he knew April early, and then she found/met Raph and Mikey, she would have to live two separate lives unsure if she should tell one side about the other... or no, you know what, let's make it so that she never finds Raph and Mikey and only knows about Donnie after stumbling across him during his initial search for Leo. Yeah, that would be funny, cause then when the show starts and everyone sees the two other turtles, they're all just like "The hell are two more turtles doing here?! One was bad enough, but three?!"

And so now they have to be unsure about whether to tell either party about the other, meanwhile Leo shows up, and now they're all just really, really confused and have no idea where these turtles keep coming from.

Now, since Donnie was thrown into human society early and never left it, he gets a little bit... obsessed with it. I mean, like, obsessed obsessed. He steals clothes, food, outdated school curriculum books, kids toys, normal books, etc. April sometimes lets him have more updated school textbooks to borrow that he totally gives back. He thinks human culture is, like, the best thing ever, so when Leo and Draxum emerge from the depths to try and destroy what he loves oh-so much, he isn't very happy about it at all. I want Shelldon to be a very, very... crude rendition of a human, since, well, yeah. He'll still be purple, probably, but it's clear he was modeled after a human.

As for Leo, well, I like a good parent Draxum rather than a bad parent one, so Leo gets lucky (and gets to be a spoiled brat). Bad Parent Draxum would be way too difficult for me to write in the "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO YOUR CHILD?!" kind of way. But yeah, Draxum is a good parent :)). Anyway, Leo, uh, goes along with his dad's whole "we have to destroy humanity for yokai to live up top again" philosophy, as most kids who love their parents do. Plus, he also wants to make his dad proud of him, as most kids who love their parents do. Even after meeting his obsessed "twin", as Donnie claims they are, it just makes him want to destroy them more because, like, who in their right mind would think humans are cool? They put sunglasses on their dogs, they take photos of their food, and do not get him started on April.

The twins relationship would be so complicated now that I think about it.

Donnie: No way, the twin I've been searching for for years who I forgot about my other family over, hiiiiii!

Leo: One, we are not twins and two, gross you like like humans?! Sorry, but I won't be associating with someone like you and now I want to destroy the humans even more.

Donnie: :((( I just want a brother...

Raph is the big sister ever. Not literally obviously, but he is. Even more so than in canon. After Donnie disappeared and he heard about Leo, he was super protective over Mikey, making sure the one brother he had left wouldn't leave too. Raph is overjoyed when he sees Donnie again one day, only to get disappointed when he finds out that the softshell forgot about them when he didn't. Meeting Leo is a fever dream for Raph, honestly. On one hand, it's "oh, yes, another brother!" and on the other it's "oof, wait, he wants to destroy humanity".

Mikey is the one who wants the least to do with the twins than anyone. One is somehow more insane than he is, and the other is just, like, no. He's still the cook and he's still creative, but the in his eyes the only family he has is Raph and Splinter, not whoever those psychos are. Mikey will avoid them at all costs, which means no attempt of a Draxum redemption arc on his part.

April only ever meets Donnie while he was searching for Leo. When Donnie disappears to Staten Island, she doesn't see him for three years before he shows up at her window one day. Her parents find out about Donnie early as well, easily accepting him since he makes April the happiest she's ever been. She sneaks Donnie textbooks every once in a while at a secret meeting spot so he wouldn't have to read old ones with 'incorrect' information. Her and the Purple Dragons are also best friends since Kendra's nicer here.

Splinter is much more involved in his two son's lives here because he doesn't want them to be taken from him as well. He reads them stories, learns how to cook before Mikey does and takes over that job, helps them clean their rooms, and spends time with them outside of his shows. He got to see Donnie and Leo again, but to him, they weren't his sons, because he only had two. He had gotten so wrapped up in making sure his two remaining sons were okay that he had eventually forgotten about the lost ones.

Oh, sweet Draxum the good dad. This goat got anything his little red-eared slider son wanted, no matter what it was. This would backfire, but not for a while. Draxum wanted to show his son how much better yokai culture was than human culture so that Leo would go along with his destroy-humanity plan. Draxum pretty much just lives two lives to ensure the success of the plan.

Cassandra is the same level of crazy as Donnie is, so they became besties quickly. She taught him anything and everything she would learn so he could defend himself because she knew how hard the world can be on someone. Of course, knowing Donnie would eventually lead her to knowing April, which eventually became something she would look forward to.

The Purple Dragons are pretty much the same minus being friendlier. They have a love-hate relationship with April and Donnie, and often give him supplies for tech projects (including Shelldon. he was also made based off of one of them too. I won't say which, but he was).

I want to try to have at least one love triangle, so I came up with the most complicated one I could: Leo, Cassandra, and April.

I personally headcanon that Cass is bi, so she would be crushing hard on them both while they're probably off fighting somewhere.

Leo and April: *arguing about how stupid each other's lives are probably*

Cass: *watching* *prolonged sigh* I love them both...

Since there's already that love triangle, and I don't want to say who Shelldon is crudely based off of because Donnie likes them, I'll let you guys guess for now.

I don't want them all to like someone, plus Raph is all the self-control for him and Mikey, they don't need more. It's nothing against them.

Big Mama, Sunita, Mayhem, and all the other villains remain with the same personalities

(all villains hold a respect for Donnie tho, because he leaves them alone and respects them right back. plus most used to be humans, so Donnie can ask them about what their past life was like before being mutated.)

Although, actually, I want Mayhem to be Donnie's 'pet' of sorts, not April's. He was the one who found Mayhem first. He was the one who took him in. He was the one who had Mayhem when he got the vile.

A/N: hello! Thank you for reading this is my first ever au and I am very excited I hope you like it! (This is my work)

Y/n POV:

Most days I wake up to the endless sounds of bickering between my parents, or the obnoxious agreement that it's my fault they don't love each other anymore. That they were better off just having my brother — not me as well.

Sometimes it's things being thrown around in anger. Other times it was them getting along and laughing together until dad goes too far, resulting in yet another argument. I never know what it's gonna be the next morning, honestly I don't want to. The arguing wasn't just in the mornings, it's at night too. All night every night, kinda like an I built routine that has to be done everyday.

I can't remember the last time I slept properly.. or didn't nearly fall asleep in school. Hell I don't even know if my parents ever helped me with my homework. They always prioritised Dylan. He was the 'golden child' after all. Everyone here in Somerville wanted their kids to be just like him. To be popular, well loved, good at sport. Or the captain of the team.

I didn't get any of that praise.. for as long as I can remember l've done everything myself. I thought myself how to read, write, even ride a bike. I never dared to ask for help - I never wanted to start another argument.

My body jolts awake to the sound of mom's voice approaching my room. "I swear to got y/n. If you don't get up, you'll miss the bus!" Her hoarse voice echoes right through the thin walls of the house. The Boston accent really thick and clear in every word she says. "I mean it. I don't want another one of those goddamn emails from the school asking why you're late again!" The windows shake as she bangs on the door to my room. An automatic groan slips from my lips. My cold clammy hands toss the covers off of my tired state. The cool air sending a shiver down my spine, as the cool air hits my exposed skin. I move my knotted hair out of my face, as my sock covered feet come in contact with the ground — physically and mentally preparing myself for the horrible day ahead.

The walk to the bus stop was annoyingly slow. Cool air dancing around me as I take each step. It was so cold that the sweater, and two jackets I am wearing aren't doing anything. Definitely does not help that theres a big snow storm on the way. Normally I'm happy to go to school — not anymore. As the arguing between my parents got more frequent the excitement of "getting away' from the noise and abuse had started to fade. Everything was starting to feel dull and numb.. not just emotionally, but all around me too. The trees lost their colour and the children in the neighbourhood stopped playing. Like time stilled and no one could go back and time and stop that from happening.

I could practically hear the craziness of the bus, once it finally came into view. Stepping onto the bus is no where near my favourite part of my day, but here I am doing it. Again. My body mindlessly steps onto the bus. As always, I see Dylan and his stupid friends from the lacrosse team, sitting at the back of the bus. The sudden feeling of nausea rushing through me at the sight of a couple girls swooning over my brother as if they're 6, and he's some piece of candy that they have to fight over.

Like every other day, the bus was full, yet my usual spot — front row — was still empty. The bus doors squeak shut making my ears ring. I quickly take my seat as the bus starts to move. Making its way to drop us off at school. The bus comes to an abrupt halt, flinging me forward in my seat "-fuck" I mumble in shock. The bus had literally stopped before it had even started.

The door squeaks open again and I scrunch my nose at the noise. Three boys step into the bus, breathing ragged as if they were just running. I blink in confusion. Am I hallucinating or are there three identical boys. All good looking, tall-ish with the same piercing blue eyes and fluffy brunette hair.

One of the boys' eyes land on me. His blue eyes are beautiful, they shine in the little light that the bus gives off and were slight covered by his hair that fell perfectly on his face, his middle part messy and untamed. He gives me a shy smile and I smile back just as shyly. The noise that was once consuming the bus and my eyes — now disappeared and i can't tear my gaze away from him. But of course that's soon interrupted when one of the other boys takes the few steps to the row of seats I was sitting in.

"Can we sit here?" He asks politely, still out of breath. My hands start to feel clammy again and I nod my head. Anxiety was always something I struggled with.. that and attachment issues. My brother spread a few bad rumours about me a couple years back and I haven't made a single friend since. It wasn't just from those stupid rumours though. I grew up being ignored my whole life, I got used to being alone. As if I was designed to be alone. By force.. never by choice. So I never wanted to get attached to someone. Over time it seemed normal having no friends, no matter how lonely it got.

I nod my head answering his question and they all sit down next to me. I want to say something, I really do but my brain won't form the words.

My eyes find their way back to the boy who smiled at me. He was wearing this cute green sweater with little dinosaurs embroidered all over it. "I'm nick by the way" the one who talked a few seconds before spoke. I smile nervously. I never really was the social kind - due to my anxiety and the stupid rumours that float around school still. Just something about the way he spoke and looked at me, so nicely and comfortingly made the whole interaction seem.. easy?

"I'm y/n" my voice is soft and quiet as I speak up.. of course, I can say my name, but I can't answer a simple question with words. I wipe my clammy hands against my Jean covered thighs. Nick notices how anxious I look but doesn't say anything.. until he does.. 'oh no he's gonna bring it up' I think to myself. "This is Chris" he points to Chris and he waves giving me a genuine smile, I smile back. "And that's Matt" | look at Matt 'Matt' I repeat his name in my head and smile at him, he just smiles shyly again.

God his smile — it's so warm yet so gentle and genuine at the same time.. Is that even possible?

"We're triplets" Chris finishes and I make an 'ah' sound as he just confirmed I wasn't hallucinating. "You new to the area?" Finally I say something! They all shake their heads in sync, making me smile. "No we've lived here our whole lives" nick says "but new to the school" he finishes and Chris nods in agreement. Matt keeps quiet.. but hey l'm not gonna judge.

Chris and nick keep the conversation going, constantly making me laugh with there stupid jokes. Matt still hasn't said anything but I can see him looking at me Everytime I say something. He looks at me again and I smile softly at him.

Something about Matt was endearing, in a good way — was it the way he blushed slightly Everytime I smiled at him, or how we hold eye contact each time I catch him looking at me. Though It looked like he was seeing right through me.. that no matter how many times I smiled he could tell I was alone and hurting. That I was miserable, how I lacked attention and love. Like I'm a book and he's just slowly turning the pages.. reading my life story but still doesn't know anything about me.

Anyways, good things! You! you're the good things! I honestly can't remember when I last sent an ask in for the lil guys, so I'm just gonna say something I loved about each of their recent arcs.

First, Treebark. There's been so many identity reveals but I think this has been my favorite thus far. Ren going all protective boyfriend and fighting over Martyn was SO GOOD, plus soft kisses and they can just hold hands now without Ren being afraid he'll figure it out. Also loved Martyn seducing his entire family while being terrified out of his mind by big dog people with knives, like, I'd be a little out of it too. but the fam doesn't even notice but Ren did and is all supportive and comforts him, offers to take him home. I love how well they can read each other, like they're just in tune. they're soulmates, your honor. and, AND this means we can have double dates where they all know now! so excited :)))))

Zedango. this is what started me reading your stuff (the first fic I ever wrote was actually my own tt zedango ficlet, btw. that feels like an eternity ago now) I love how they've simultaneously progressed and devolved into slightly unhealthy relationship territory. something about not everything being perfect all the time just adds so much depth and realism to their relationship, as well as keeping the plot tense without feeling like you're making up problems just to have something to write about. AND THEN Tango doing the blazeborn courtship rituals was just so aaaaaaaa (THEY"RE SO ADORBSABLEEE) Tango setting aside his disgust with his claws to take care of Zed even tho its uncomfortable for him, and then Zed recognizing that and having all the warm fuzzy fondness for his bf was so sweet. Doc's notes about the rituals were on point, with how he reassures Tango that they're normal, healthy things and saying he's always open to having a conversation about it. (tho, i doubt Tango's ever taken him up on that offer lmao)

The other fic that's been in my head is ur most recent one, Handshakes and Headaches. I highly doubt we'll get a cub reveal in this next chapter, but ig we'll see soon enough. I loved how Cub just knew instantly that Grian was a hybrid and was just going in spirals putting it together that he was cuteguy, then him coming to the wrong conclusion about whether Scar knew, too, was just perfect. Tho, if he did think Scar knew and was cool with it, I wonder what he'd do first? Tell Scar his own secret, guess Grian's secret in front of them? I feel like he would think the safe thing would be to confront Scar about Grian being Cuteguy, and then if/when Scar admits it and says he's cool with it, Cub would feel safe(r) revealing his own identity. Maybe not right away, but sometime. Also, that would mean everyone in Hot Cave knows about hybrids and undercity, so he wouldn't have to glamor while he works (tho, that would also require revealing to Zed... they don't seem super close, but it's kinda obvious that Zed's chill w/ the undercity people, considering he's dating Tango and Cub knows that).

Also! now that Hypno knows G and Scar are safe, I really wanna see him revealing to Scar and Scar being all supportive and stuff :)))) Hypno wasn't someone I knew I needed in this world, but I'd die for him now. (ALSO the casual mention that his scales are dry and flaky rather than smooth and taken care of??? Hello?????? Someone get him some proper self-care ASAP, maybe take him swimming at a private pool or something idk. I feel like the moment Scar knows, he's going to be on it with the cookies and love and support. so excited hehehe)

anyways, I'm probably forgetting something, but whatever. I'll be back with more art soon (maybe I draw Hypno, since I've never done that before and electric eel hybrid sounds cool. Luffy would color in any tattoo for fun if his partner (platonic or not) allowed him ofc. Constantly asking where the markers are every time you showered his masterpiece off. He would be so focused on making it better than the last. But alas his ass has no artistic skills so it’s shit. It’s the thought that counts. He gets so happy then you show them off. It makes him just bounce off the walls!

Luffy 100% oral fixation. I don’t think i need to say much more. Always enjoys something in his mouth. Thus he resorts to food. Once he find something else that is more convenient WOAHHHH CHANGED MAN(not really). He would def try to eat his pillow in his sleep.

I feel like he picks at his skin/nails just because he needs to do something all the time. Also Nami paints his nails so he can pick at the paint and not his poor body.

Franky didn't say a word, but it didn't act as well as robin did, jimbe was the only one expecting this and acting natural. He then proceeded to process what he just said and thought this was normal (oh jimbe, you innocent innocent man) Zoro was laughing his ass off, having the time of his LIFE for this after he woke up. As long as sanji suffers, it's a good day.

hello! i usually lurk but. for the memorable fic scene ask thing:

Not sure why, but my first thought was the scene in "they're saying don't hold you're breath, I'm saying how can you breathe" where vyn makes toast and thinks about emotions. there's something about the way you write vyn that's so distinctive (i've found i can sometimes recognize your fics by the way you write vyn's internal thoughts), and having vyn do such a simple task while also having that task mirror and voice the conflicts that he's going through was really striking to me for some reason. i think i really admired the way you're able to make a scene which, for all intents and purposes would probably seem boring such as a character making toast, and make it into something that can reveal a lot about the character's inner thoughts. fics don't have to be all about the action-y scenes, the scenes in between that seem calmer can also take up their own space and also provide their own value to the fic itself. big fan! also i had never considered what vyn might like to make for breakfast, so the choice of vyn toasting bread (and also toasting the bread in a toaster) was inherently interesting to me.

(i also noticed the little poke at vyn seeing the jar as half empty-- yeah. he would.)

I was also going to mention the conversation vyn and artem have at vyn's place, but I went to skim over the fic again and realized that those scenes are in completely different chapters dkfdjkfjkjdfk. but i do want to mention that scene anyway because i think it's really cool to see the way they're both trying to communicate but just. none of the meaning is quite getting through. they're both a little too caught up in their own thoughts, and you conveyed that really well in their kind of disjointed conversation. i'm a big fan of the tension there, and i think you nailed both of their perspectives!

Now to comment on the actual content of your response:

I'm so intrigued by you saying that I write Vyn in a distinctive way that it's actually recognizable. That's a huge compliment, thank you, I'm so glad you like my Vyn writing. (I'm also curious to know what exactly gives it away, but that's not part of the original ask meme, haha.)

They're saying don't hold your breath, I'm saying how can you breathe mention!! That fic might not be my most popular going by statistics alone, but it's definitely up there with one of my favorite ToT things I've written--and a good part of that is because of the toaster scene. I'm so happy that that particular scene stuck out to you (it's linked pretty closely to the Vyn and Artem conversation because I make a small reference to the toaster, so I completely understand forgetting they're in separate chapters)!

I also love the idea of Vyn, who is generally perceived as this old-timey, fancy person doing normal mundane things like making toast with a toaster. In a similar sense, I'm also a big fan of quiet moments that take place after action scenes so that the characters can breathe and process things!

You caught the half-empty jar mention!! That was very deliberate, I'm so happy you noticed that :D

As for the Vyn and Artem conversation: you may have noticed that I write Vyn and Artem conflict quite a bit! But the fun thing about Vyn and Artem (and most other characters) is that they're not going to be honest with their true feelings right away. They have to dance around the truth--and in the case of Vyn and Artem's often opposing opinions, they're practically allergic to being vulnerable with each other, because to be vulnerable is to be known, and Vyn knowing Artem and vice versa is a VERY TERRIFYING idea for both of them. It's like that bit of writing advice where everything a character wants to say has to go through a filter, or something like that... Small tangent aside, I'm very happy you liked the tension/disjointed feeling of their conversation!

And yess, the song is a bop!! I'm glad you thought it was a good choice; whenever I pick out a song for a fic it kinda gets stuck in my head for the entire duration of writing it, so it has to be something I can accept revolving in my head, haha. And Dom Fera is pretty underrated in my opinion! The lyric I chose for the title is so good, I totally agree :D

⭐The Fabled CAT Longpost.⭐

well, it's finally done. over the last few months i've seen a lot of people posting their Pizza Tower OCs, and basically all of them are so freaking pretty and i wanna squeeze and love all of them. and so, here i am today, finally feeling brave enough to officially share my little Pizza friend with the world.

(first time making a post like this, hopefully it's not too cramped to read.)

So, a bit of backstory. Some time before the events of Pizza Tower, Pizzahead did all sorts of experiments on creating new life and stuff, for example the Peppino Clones/ Fake Peppino. A brief experimentation of his involved using the brains of various deceased animals/people into new bodies, regardless of compatibility, to see if they'd still work. Eyhm was one of these, a stray cat off the streets with a spare brain put into her. She barely has any memories of her past life, besides the fact that she was definitely human... and that she was quite young. She chose her name for herself though, based on remembering only the first letter of her old name: M.

At some point, Eyhm and the rest of those "created" through this experiment managed to break out, and for a while, she's just wandering aimlessly around the outside world not knowing what to do with herself. But eventually, by some strange force she finds herself heading back to the Pizza Tower again... and that's when she meets Peppino.

Personality-wise, Eyhm's normally pretty kind and polite to those she meets, but she can get very anxious in unknown territory. Thankfully throughout the Pizza Tower, she had the likes of Peppino and Gustavo to protect her, and after the game's events Peppino ends up adopting her to stay in the pizzeria after she has nowhere else to go. So, now she spends most of her time at Peppino's, providing company and a bit of happiness to her newfound friends.

By far though the one Eyhm gets closest to after the game's events would be Fake Peppino. They both relate pretty heavily, having been "created" in some form by Pizzahead. Back inside the tower as well, Fake Peppino noticed how much Peppino was trying to protect this cat, and so, it's only a natural Peppino thing to do then isn't it? He spends a lot of time with her, and if anyone tries to mess with his little kitty, things get messy.

She and Brick get along good too. They're both weird animals (and I definitely based her colors off of Brick's heh), plus the idea of this tiny kitten being friends with a rat much larger than her just delights me.

Eyhm also likes The Noise a lot for some reason. She thinks he looks like a bunny. Noise does not really like her back.

But yeah, after a rough start to her life, Eyhm gets to be comfy with her cool two dads, her giant rat friend, and her giant very friendly goopy frog. And this weird bunny/rat guy that shows up sometimes.

so yeah, that's about as much of the Cat as i have for now. she's half the reason i'm too afraid to share my own writing stuff but, maybe someday. hope you like my weird little cat gremlin child.

I ended up playing more SoTE after a break of several days, actually some interesting progress but also two-parter!

1) Went to Scorpion River catacoms on accident while trying to explore that interesting area with RED Kindred of Rot, and was lowkey disappointed.. because it is a repetitive one. :/ I believed the previous catacomb featuring Godwyn lore was unique! But this one's purpose is to give you another Knight of Death weapon and another variant of talisman by Godwyn @ his Knights! 🙄

^....and also another Messmer's Knight Spirit Ash variant, when Andreas is the hammer-wielder variant! Though the bit about personal attachment by Messmer is a cool one! Same unique ash energy as Ogha or Finlay I suppose

2) Okay MAYBE this catacomb wasn't THAT repetitive since it featured unique mechanics of goddamn Basylisk statues shooting THESE GODDAMN STUPID EYES

3) Also if a second person in this world exists who has weird fixation of collecting everything even if they will never use it.. do not grind the Lion-mask Imps for the helmet. They do drop their swords, but not their helmets. Their head piece is FOUND in this catacomb!

Basically it is exactly what you think - it is on one of the platforms accessed by jumping on the spikey plate as soon as it got down and then getting down fast enough when it moves! Just boost your death resistance here since it is in the room with the rocky bridge!

4) Okay so after that I finally decided to go to the Finger Ruins now that I've learned it was accessible by normal means!!! That was so cool! Really large place with many nooks though;;

6) Whereas most of these enemies sorcerer (?) variants used the spell I wasn't familiar with, one of them was using exactly the same purple spell as ringed Fingercreepers use! I took screenshots of it and usually when I have to screenshot something too fast for the phone I just then take a picture of THE screenshot on my phone gfghvv This time I forgot, but yes I still got it on PS! This is really interesting though? I wonder whether lamprey people adopted it from Fingercreepers, or, since only ringed Fingercreepers can use that spell it were lampreys that taught them and gave them a catalyst!

7) I was running around the area for a while instead of getting straight to the point, staring at these formations wondering whether they are cracked eggs (of lamprey?) or the fingers:

I assume that they are the latter by now! They in many places look like they are digging out of the earth, they vary in sizes and often look multilayered more than cracked! Also since these giant fingers are also rocky and are shown broken sometimes!

8) This is actually really funny how there are canonically characters that were obsessed with researching Fingercreepers to the point of insanity, considering how I kept breaking my mind trying to figure them out at least four times gfhbbbgfb

And there is a ghost near which you pick it that does state these ruins are their place of origin! Damn my pre-DLC thoughts on Fingercreepers aged like MILK, granted today I finally nuked the post. XD

So he gave me a map and the talisman, and then had new dialogue about Marika and Miquella, further explaining how Erdtree thing was corrupt / doomed to rot from the start to explain why Miquella had to remove all of it from himself to actually get anywhere! That makes drop of that talisman from the rock less random.. They've connected the dots, they've connected them.

12) I start to understand why the girls like him so much from what I've seen, this guy really thinks on some other plane x)

13) The talisman that he gave also reminded me of Sellen's monologue about primeval current and how everyone were children of the stars after all and needed to return to them!

Honestly that stuff was one of my favourite niches to think about, and what I did not expect from the DLC was returning to these themes! Feels very comfy! Like, I got something I did not even ask for only because I didn't even hope for elaboration :')

14) He also could teach two new spells after this, that are basically just variants of one another:

I haven't tested them yet, but sorcerer lamprey in the Finger Ruins were using these sorceries I believe! They were also pale blue and ricochetting!

15) After that I of course wanted to get to the next Finger Ruins already, so I asked @val-of-the-north how do I get to that spot on the map without passing the Shadow's Keep.. Turned out that I don't. 🤡 That is pretty much the area I've been avoiding, but yeah, I had to make my way to it now! That's on the next post though I am out of screenshot spots 🌛

The Pilots

Pilots. I wanted to be one myself, but I ended in the mechanics area. You'd think I'd be disappointed, but I won't lie, it's a lot of fun. The pilots make sure I never have a dull moment as well. I was promoted to work directly with the ones who choose and these pilots are so odd. To be fair, syncing their bodies and brains directly to the mechs and filling them with drugs that make conflict genuinely addicting are obviously gonna twist them a bit, but I expected them to be constantly tired and sluggish. I could not be more wrong. They seem even more energetic than a person without all that. They make me feel like I'm almost too normal. I can barely even describe them.

They're so...volatile. So passionate about who they are. And so open as well. The tunings always starts silent, but they'll clock my ADHD or pick up on a reference I make and that leads to nonstop conversation. It's made me realize that they're just like me. They just want another person to talk to. To express themselves towards. They're not living weapons. They still feel and they have everything I have, despite their position. Even the the most twisted pilots have their moments. Having combat junkies tell you that you make a life outside of battle almost seem interesting, or the emotionless elites tell you that they appreciate your contributions to their efficiency...

And I won't lie, that makes it harder to do my job. I'm preparing these mechs for battle. I've come to care about these pilots quite a bit. They gave me a home. They're my friends now. I've spent hours upon hours understanding and coming to care for them. I can't just be cool with preparing them to risk their lives. At the same time though, I know better than that. I know that they've chosen to be here to some degree. I know that whatever passion they have goes into being the pilots they are. Trying to take that away from them would be the worst thing I could do to them. So I give every tuning my all. I try my best to let them know that their desires are seen and supported.

I've asked a lot of them if they really want to go into battle. Some were simple. Stern denials due to fear or loathing of conflict, excited confirmations due to childish dreams and desires for glory, and indifference to the fact life has you here and you're good at it, so might as well. Some were complicated. Stories of how facing conflict to be who you wish to be, tying into their genders or sexualities. Tangents about having a body thay can do so much and helping those who gave it to you, being steeled by the understanding of true weakness. Promises made to loved ones, alive or dead, putting your heart into the things that did the same for you. The overwhelming desire to see suffering, to see life end, either because it's all they know, or because they simply enjoy it.

They thank me. For tuning their mechs, for caring about them, sometimes, even for arguing against them. They all appreciate my efforts, whether or not it supports them. They know I care...and that makes me happy.

ALIEN STAGE AUS

the ocs

Aero - Jude Kira - Nio

Normal World - final year of HS. all of them are a friendgroup!

ivan - rich. most popular guy in school, seemingly nice but extremely harsh with rejection - will be very mean to you. he will attack anyone nio asks him to if nio feels like watching a fight happen, no questions asked. likes to sing in his spare time. he's nice if you're nice, though. nio - ivan's boyfriend who is also known to be possessive of him. he's a mean "girl" trope, harsh, and likes to make fun of people he doesn't like and likes to instigate fights to watch for fun. extremely good singer, but only for his friends. can be friendly too though.

luka - rich. considered very handsome, but the one person who confessed to him in a different school almost got killed (luka lured them to the music room and beat them to near death). he got expelled for that, so he's in a different school now - but his rep followed him. aero - luka's only real friend seemingly. luka defended him from bullies as kids and got expelled over it. the first time luka got in detention, the next day Aero and Kira throw a desk out of the window to purposefully get excluded too so they can sit with him in the exclusion area. he helps them all with styling their hair and doing their makeup, which is his hobby.

till - known as aggressive but just gets easily overstimulated, has hypergraphia due to OCD, gets into fights but is generally nice if you're nice. prefers to spend his days in the music room to practice/write music. cares a lot about mizi as well as jude (but not romantically). jude - kind of closed off and shy, till's known boyfriend. he's nice to everyone, but is protective of till's wellbeing and helps him cope.

kira - rich, already an idol. everyone's friend, but a little cold to strangers.

mizi - the nicest in the group, sua's crush. she helps hyuna with her investigations sometimes.,

sua - goes missing during a getaway, but was mizi's crush before that. in an idol group with kira until her disappearance.

hyuna - already graduated. an amateur detective, especially of cryptids.

Horror movie - college they all go to a getaway in a cabin in the mountains and get hunted by a werewolf + serial killer alien in the area, a year after sua went missing in the same place. humans are dwindling after aliens took over earth.

all same backstories, the only additions/changes are: ivan, luka & nio are serial killers.

ivan - meticulous, plans well ahead, different methods, enjoys it immensely. kills aliens and humans allied with aliens. luka - opportunistic, always has his gear on him just in case. calls aero to help clean up. nio - mostly watches ivan, but likes to pick victims too. he's very impulsive, and anything can make him snap.

sua - werewolf in the woods around

Vampire

aliens = old vampires who take humans and turn them into thralls as kids. now the adult vampire servants each have their own mansion in the kingdom (like game bosses).

the vampire lord thralls: ivan - turned as a child, seemingly kind and always smiling, but quite ruthless if you cross him luka - bred as a vampire thrall, quiet and obedient, but alwaysy watching, always learning sua - turned as a child, obedient, secretly trying to find a way to escape kira - turned as a child, wants to escape

vampire hunters: hyuna - turned vampire as a child but escaped, now hunts them mizi - was saved by sua as kids and managed to escape, is trying to find her again nio - kills every vampire, but his goal is to get to ivan and be turned BY him

other servants: aero - luka's human servant till - a werewolf, kept as "entertainment". always trying to escape and find his friends. jude - till's "caretaker" (friend)
