Warnings: Some angry!Steve, a nightmare, mentions of death, mentions of sex, light cussing.

A/N: I’m so, so sorry that it took this long for me to get a new part out. My life has been hectic and I’ve had distractions galore, lol. Though I do want to say thank you for over 1200 followers, and I hope that you guys enjoy this chapter!

Purple.

All that Steve could see, feel, and hear was purple as he landed numerous pounds on his punching bag, imagining that each hit was landing right in Thanos’ big, fat, purple face.

One punch for taking away his son, Anthony James, who had barely even got to begin his life. Another punch, this time for Bucky, the man who was finally free to live as he pleased, just before he had all of his new chances taken away from him so gruesomely. The next punch was in the name of Sam Wilson, one of the most loyal and courageous men that Steve had known.

The list could go on and on, dedicating hits to Thanos from Wanda, Vision, Fury, and many more, but the man’s mind always brought him back to one person. A.J. His sweet little son who deserved so much better than to be dusted away at not even two years old. Even if Steve had barely known the kid, he wanted justice for him. For his grieving wife. And if the only way to feel useful was landing punches on his punching bag, imagining that he was hitting Thanos each and every time, then so be it. At least it helped him get out his rage.

His fists were coming down on the bag so hard, so loud, that he didn’t even notice the presence of his favourite person behind him, not until said individual actually spoke up.

“Honey?”

Ah, the soft and sweet, feminine voice of his wife broke Steve out of his anger-fuelled trance, though he didn’t actually turn towards the girl. Instead he just hung his head with an emotion that could only be described as pain, and stilled the swinging bag in front of him. “What are you doing up, sweetheart?” He questioned, voice short and rough.

“It’s 10:00 AM.” Y/N replied, still standing on the staircase that led down to their basement, the place where Steve had just been brutally hitting his most-used piece of gym equipment.

The man puffed out a breath. “Already?”

“Yeah, ‘already’.” She stated, confused at why he was down here instead of up in their bed. It was Sunday morning and they always slept in together on Sunday mornings. It was like a routine. “How long have you been up for?”

“Since, uh, since around 7:00, I think.”

He still wasn’t facing her and Y/N wondered why he was being so closed-off. Steve sure was acting odd this morning. “You’ve been hitting this punching bag for three hours? Hon-”

“I already know what you’re gonna’ say, N/N.” He cut her off, beginning to pull off his thick boxing gloves. He used to only wear hand wraps but Y/N had insisted he needed more protection, super soldier or not.

“Yeah? And what’s that?” She questioned, now much closer behind him.

“Something along the lines of you being worried about me.” Steve answered. He finally turned around to face her, and Y/N realized that his eyes looked extremely glossy. Had he been crying?

“Stevie,” she softly spoke, stepping closer until she was directly in front of him, “what’s going on?”

The man puffed out a breath, swallowing the lump in his throat. “I-Uh... I had a nightmare.” He looked directly into her E/C eyes and saw nothing but care, allowing him to become more relaxed. He had always found comfort under her gentle gaze.

Y/N gave him a sympathetic little smile, running one of her hands down his arm under she connected it with his own, intertwining their fingers. “Do you wanna’ talk about it?”

Steve, being a generally closed-off person, usually would’ve said no. But deep down he knew that it was better to get his feelings out, and gave her a couple short nods instead.

That was enough of an answer as the girl needed as she led him to their couch, sitting down first and watching as he lowered himself into the seat next to her. His shoulders still looked tense and Y/N frowned, but didn’t pay it too much mind. When really were his shoulders not tense? “So, what was the nightmare about?”

“Uh,” Steve quietly sighed, looking down at the floor, “Thanos.”

His wife instantly became sad upon hearing that name, turning her head away and closing her eyes.

“It was terrible.” The man continued on, his body still and filled with stress. “He… God, I don’t even know if you want to hear this, doll. This is awful.”

“It’s okay.” Y/N spoke, turning towards him and nodding. “You can tell me.” Their hands were still connected and she rubbed the back of his with her thumb, hoping that he would become comfortable enough to share.

“It involves A.J.” Steve informed, really not wanting to trigger her by the disgusting content of his dream.

She gulped, hesitating for a moment, but ultimately knew that she would be strong enough to hear this. Plus she was just curious by now, too. “Go ahead. I’ll be okay.”

“Okay, uh,” he cleared his throat, “I’m not going to go into strong detail, but, uh, I saw A.J. die. Not by the dusting, though. From Thanos’ bare hands. It was awful, baby, just awful. I was back in the fields of Wakanda and, God… I watched Thanos kill him. And A.J. was just screaming and crying, all the while Thanos laughed like the horrible son of a bitch he is. I hated it.” Steve shook his head, the memory of his dream making him extremely appalled.

“Oh, Steve...”

“I woke up and I was just so… mad. Enraged.” The man continued. His fists were gradually clenching up as his chest started to heave. Y/N could tell that he was getting worked up again. “It’s just so hard for me to believe that it’s possible for sometime to think the way he did. To think that it’s right to kill billions of innocent lives. To kill our one-year-old son who did nothing to deserve that.”

“I know, Stevie, I know.” The girl agreed, honestly a little bit wary of her husband’s actions. He was starting to get red.

“The minute I woke up, I knew that I needed to punch something. To treat something the way I wish I could’ve treated Thanos.” Steve raspingly stated, jaw clenched and eyebrows furrowed. The man looked livid, and it was beginning to worry his wife.

“I understand, honey.” She nodded, rubbing up and down his forearm. “Why don’t you calm down a little, though? Or at least try to. Please.”

“I’m sorry, baby, but it’s a little hard for me to calm down when I’m thinking about this. It just enrages me. So damn much. How could he do that to all of those people? I just don’t understa-Woah. What’re you doing?”

Y/N’s only thought in that moment was ‘Desperate times call for desperate measures’ as she climbed into Steve’s lap, straddling his thighs. “Calming you down myself.” She answered, giving him a cheeky smile and placing her hands on his shoulders. “Sorry, love, but you were starting to scare me a little there.” She said with a chuckle. “Your neck veins were popping and everything.”

Steve himself gave her a little laugh, moving both of his hands to her hips. “And your first thought, when I was getting heated, was not to back away, but instead to sit on my lap?”

Y/N shrugged. “I knew you wouldn’t hurt me. Not unless I was asking for it, anyways.” She gave him a flirty wink, hoping to cheer him up with her remarks. It seemed to be working as he began to boom with laughter, eyes closed and head thrown back. “There we go.” The girl smiled at his reaction. “Way to turn that frown upside down.”

Steve shook his head at his adorable wife. “I love you, babydoll. And I’m sorry that I scared you there. I really didn’t mean to.”

She just swiped her hand, deeming it not a serious problem. “I love you too. And don’t be sorry, anger is a natural part of grief. You’re kinda’ hot when you’re mad, anyways.”

The man chuckled once again, pushing her back closer to his chest so that he could hug her. She wrapped her own arms around his neck and rested her head on his shoulder, happy to be in his warm embrace.

“Though,” Y/N spoke against his skin, “next time instead of the punching bag, you can always just wake me up. I’d be happy to help you... relieve your stress. If you know what I mean.”

Steve grinned at another one of her cheesy jokes, rubbing his hand up and down her back lovingly. “Oh, sweet girl, I always know what you mean.”

Hello! Hopefully you see this haha. Patreon is sort of like Netlfix in it is a monthly charge for goods. To get 3 cc hairs early each month, it is a $1 pledge. Higher pledges get better rewards(such as watching me work on cc, getting to vote on hair releases, and more). I think that Patreon is a great way to help support creators as long as they do it right (no exclusive CC). I really hope this helps you and thank you so much if you decide to pledge any ammount <3

hey!! sorry for the super late reply omg, welcome to simblr!! it is kinda crazy here but hopefully u can find ur peeps and make a nice home :) anywaysssss i think u mean recoloring, which is like when people add different colors other than the 18 EA base colors. I don’t allow people to use the meshes mainly bc I know that sometimes I have to go back and update things and this way the recolors don’t have a broken mesh and require that person to redo their package.

urgg i really wish i could make video tutorials and stuff for blender and hairs :( I have tried about 3 or 4 times to record/stream and it is so laggy and just pure shit on stream and twitch. I kind of just learned stuff as i went in blender but a must have is a mouse of some kind, otherwise it is 10x harder

yeah dsgf everything kinda went shitty the past few months but hopefully it all turns itself around :) and I try not to pick at any rude anons/asks in general bc I feel like by doing that it just causes more attention on the issue and more people/trolls want to jump on the band wagon. Thank you!!
