no but see the purposes of the dark sides are actually wayy different from how they're portrayed. janus is self-preservation, not just deceit, but because he also encompasses deceit, that's what his purpose is watered down to, because to the others, that 'stains' his entire existence. remus encompasses literally everything roman isn't allowed to create art about. intrusive thoughts actually have nothing to do with creativity, thomas just views them and all darker topics as the same, and in doing so, traps them inside the same vessel. very basically, because thomas thinks art has to be pure and comfortable, everything he wants to create that doesn't fit that strict criteria is shoved away into the same corner as the things he actually, genuinely doesn't want to think about.

Sometimes I think about the fact that first living being to orbit the Earth couldn't understand what was happening to her, couldn't understand the history she was making. Laika wasn't a volunteer. The technology to bring her back alive didn't exist. They sent her up anyway. She died, scared and alone, in a malfunctioning spacecraft hastily built to meet a political deadline.

When her heart rate tripled from the stress of acceleration, did she understand the magnitude of what she was experiencing? When she saw the stars outside her little window, did she believe the world had gone dark? In her final hours, did she feel wonder, or just fear?

"The more time passes, the more I’m sorry about it. We shouldn’t have done it. We did not learn enough from this mission to justify the death of the dog. When you understand that you can’t bring back Laika, that she perishes out there, and that no one can bring her back…that is a very heavy feeling." Oleg G. Gazenko

For me, there's some small consolation, at least, in knowing that although her death was unnecessary and cruel, Laika will never be forgotten. I love you, Laika. May you find peace among the stars.

WHICH time lord are you.#bc lbr if she knows abt tardises then she knows about time lords and if she knows abt time lords she knows what it means for ruby #to be joining him - and that's why she wishes ruby good luck. meanwhile this is clearly the outcome she WANTS (them to be together)#bc she gets visibly upset when the doctor seems to decide to leave without ruby.#and for once i'm not master clowning bc the list of names the doctor gives out is VERY interesting. some of them we've never heard before:#the bishop; the conquistador; later he adds the pedant and sagi-shi and reiterates the bishop AGAIN. so i wonder if she's the bishop.....

Pancaketiffy's Squidbob comics in English (google drive link)

I've been able to track down almost all of the Squidbob comics created by Pancaketiffy in English! Huge thanks to @lake-fmoli for sharing a majority of these with me ^^

Included in this Google Drive link are the comics Squidward's Birthday Gift, Tiki Ceremony, Vacation, Nautical Disaster, Squelly, The Secret Formula, and The Fantastic And Expansive Life Of Squilliam Fancyson, as well as some mini-comics and miscellaneous art.

Tiki Ceremony had a few pages only in Spanish -- pages 30-33 and page 68 -- and since I know it's going to be VERY hard to find those original pages, I've taken an English translation I found and edited those remaining Spanish pages back into English; those pages I've labeled as "retranslated." I'll still be looking for those original pages, and I'm hoping I can find someone who has them, but for now this is the best way to complete the English version of the comic. (Thank you to the people who uploaded the Spanish-translated pages to a NSFW site along with accurate English translations, lol)

I have included two versions of Vacation -- the version where Pancaketiffy took out the NSFW pages, and the original version with the NSFW pages intact. The NSFW version has been labeled "EXPLICIT." The censored version was taken directly from an upload on Internet Archive -- so big thank you to the person who uploaded that! The only things missing from these are the English chapter covers.

Natural Disaster, Squelly, and The Secret Formula were never completed, and as far as I'm aware I've gathered all of the completed pages. I THINK it's the same for The Fantastic And Expansive Life Of Squilliam Fancyson, but I'm unsure. Secret Formula and the Squilliam comic were retrieved from a drive that I can't find anymore 😅 but thank you to whoever uploaded those in the first place.

Some pages are higher-quality than others, but I'm just glad I've found readable English versions of the comics in general. If anybody has or ever finds higher-quality pages, the original English pages of Tiki Ceremony, the English chapter covers for Vacation, or anything else that's missing, please send them to me. I'm gonna try to keep this thing updated, as well as figure out the best way to upload this stuff to Internet Archive.
