Is it just me who loves the smell of old books?

The feeling of watercolour paper once you run your fingers over it?

Or even the look of paint, charcoal, or clay turn into something magnificent?

I love art.

More people need to appreciate it.

Whether it be digital or traditional, writing on a piece of paper or a melody produced from an instrument—all art is marvellous in its own right.

Don’t you just love making pretty sims in the sims 4..

I mean, I really don’t play the sims for the gameplay aspect of it, I play it for the dressing up pretty people bit 🤭🤭

Just saw lightning over the mountains of Umbria because of a thunderstorm that was passing over.

It was so beautiful.

Never experienced something like that up in the mountains.

Right, so I was talking to my friend on the phone earlier today, checking up on her, asking how she was, the usual kind of talk you have with your friends.

Except we were speaking in another language that I’m not too confident in… at all.

For the bilinguals, polygots, and god knows who else if you speak another language, do you ever slip up and add in other languages as you speak?

For example, as I was talking to my friend, I would add in English, Spanish… and I think some Japanese, once, too.

Needless to say, she got confused. But don’t get me wrong, she knew English… some Spanish.. and absolutely no Japanese..

But I couldn’t help it, it kind of just happened.

I can’t be the only one, can I? 😭

I was just driving around on my quad, doing some errands for my dad, and then got stopped by my mum.

I never wanted to not know the Ukrainian language more than in that specific moment…

I was told to stop driving immediately and to park it up somewhere near the garage.

My dad was there, witnessed the whole thing, and the moment he heard my mum swearing at me in Ukrainian, he pretended like he didn’t send me to do some errands for him..

So I was walking down the street, somewhere in a small village in Italy… and suddenly I saw a swarm of cats to my left..

It was so strange… they were all staring at me while either perched on a wall or standing around on the side of the road.

I had to control myself and not go near them, because if I did, I know I would be taking one of those lil guys home.. 😭

I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only one who’s experienced this, but, to all the artists out there.. have you ever felt stuck?

Stuck on what to draw?

What to create in front of you?

And have you had that feeling for weeks.. months.. or even years..?

Yes, what I might be describing is ‘art block’... but why does it feel like I can’t draw like the way I used to?

The thing is, I’ve, personally, have had this feeling for years now.

I don’t draw. I can’t draw.

I suppose it almost feels like a chore to me.

It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted on tumblr…

Some of you may not know me… heck, let’s change that to ‘most’.. anyway, I digress… I go by several different names—Zephyr, Tinks, Yun, Weifeng, you name it.

Feel free to call me what you like.

My interests.. hobbies.. and the like…

Needless to say, I like a variety of things.

This can range from music to what I do with my spare time, so I will narrow it down to a few.

For my hobbies, it’s very diverse. For example: I like to draw, sculpt, and paint—anything I can get my hands on, I will create art with; I like anything and everything with an engine, from quad bikes and motorbikes to modern aircraft and other military vehicles.

For now, I stick to gliders and low powered aircraft, and things that are actually legal for me to drive… whether that be a quad bike, a plane, or a boat under 40 foot.

My general interests include: the military, and the air force specifically; music—r&b.. kpop.. jpop… and many other genres; anime, history, fiction, languages, and so much more than you can simply list in one post, haha.

What languages can I speak…?

Languages is a funny thing to talk about, for me. I can understand, write, and read in many languages but have a strange difficulty in speaking them.

Although, some languages that I can speak to some ability include: Spanish, Japanese and Chinese.

但是，我的中文（汉语）不是很好… 我还有很多要学!

However, I also know other languages such as: Ukrainian, Russian, and bits and pieces of Korean.
