  Lord, I Rejoice in your word and Worship you for the Blessed Peace you have given, but the World cannot take away! Despite troubles and Tests I give thanks for the Comfort your Word gives. Thank you for its Promise of Peace when my Faith is placed in Jesus Christ. Thank you for my Joy, Lord; this Joy that the World could never give nor Take away. Whether my day Begins or Ends as a worldly Success or Failure I am at ease for my Hope, Faith, Confidence, and Trust is in You! So, I will Take Heart and Be of Good Cheer today. Since Christ,  my Savior, has overcome the World I Know I can too! Since his Blood has Washed Away my Sins and Your Holy Spirit lives within I know I can Continue on! And, I know that I can do Any and All things because I am your Child and am Never Alone! I shout Praises to you My Father, my God! What I love about celebrating heroes who have changed the world around us for generations is that I keep thinking of how they weren't just mystical beings sent from heaven who then disappeared. I start thinking of how they were young once, babies who cried and fell and had to learn right from wrong. They learned all the same basics of tying shoes and walking and talking that we did. I've started thinking of how if the issues they faced and fought were happening now and they were in my time, they would be a classmate of mine or someone who I see in the grocery store smile at. They would look like any other human being but the diffference is when they saw the problems of their time they didn't just sit and wait for it to go away they stood up and did something about it. Thinking about them like this doesn't belittle what they did but rather it keeps me from believing that there can never be people like that ever again. It reassures me that everyone around me can be a hero if they just simply stand up against the things they know are wrong, as opposed to watching from the sidelines hoping things get better. Looking at the people who have changed the world the definition for hero I keep getting is, one who sees wrong and fights it, they may not always win but they refuse to allow what's wrong to go on unchallenged. Morning Thought 💭

Our eyes have the capability to adjust to what is before us. When coming from the darkness into the light, at first we get blinded and the longer we are exposed to the light our eyes adjust. Similarly, when entering a dark place from the light, at first we cannot see but the longer we stay there, the more our eyes adjust and we can see eventually. We always have the ability to see, to adjust and embrace change. Whatever dark situation we face now it will not overcome us but we will go through it and come out better and stronger for it. We are overcome by that to which we surrender. Our faith in tomorrow will keep us going.
