might be getting air conditioning fingers crossed *looking at god with the biggest puppy eyes right now*

#we can't get a new one in this economy BUT we have this old one from 2006 (💀) that has been broken down for years and years #and we're taking steps to fix it and it might not be beyond hope! well we'll know in a week if it's a lost cause or not.#anyway we agreed that if we can fix it we will relocate it to my room since i'm the Stay At Home Person #and everyone else has AC in their work offices #so yay!#i truly think AC is no longer a luxury btw it's a must. our exam halls aren't ACed and #some students threatened to walk out if they don't relocate to a hall with AC and god i get it. this weather is unbelievable.

I want to see him absolutely destroy the midfield, I want him to beat Albon to shut his haters up.

But currently, I'm afraid he won't make it till the end of the year

I think you’re worrying too much. He had a shunt, it took him out for a day which isn’t great, especially on a highly technical circuit like Suzuka which he also struggled with last year. He needs to improve his quali pace significantly, we can agree on that. Neither of these are unusual things and it’s only the 4th race of a 24 race calendar.

The only race he’s even been able to compete in so far, if you even want to call it that, is Saudi Arabia, and he got the highest possible position he could in that situation (stuck behind Kmag and his teammate).

I’m not saying he’s safe or that he doesn’t need to improve. But I also believe that he will improve and that he will have a good weekend eventually. Hopefully sooner rather than later, but it happened before and it will happen again.

So like. Trust the process. Sarge can do it trust 💪🏼💪🏼

SHITHOLE OF A PLACE #i have a word or two for my doctor and it starts with F and Y #i got no help. zero. whatever they said i have already learned from the internet. lol.#also my anxiety was so bad in there i lost 4 pounds from a poor appetite.#and they gave me fuckin. lithium #my parents were SO MAD when i told them over the phone #anyway #i'm home and i couldn't be happier about it #just the thought of being trapped in that place makes me wanna vom <3 #oh yeah i was put in the detox unit instead of the one for mental disorders or whatever it is #my dad was very mad i was put in with the alcoholics and drug addicts but they were very nice people #i was able to come out of my shell and have conversations with them pretty easily #that is the ONLY positive thing i can say about my entrapment #i missed you guys so much. i really missed my family #god and now they're gonna call me tomorrow morning to talk about whateverthefuck #and i gotta call my doctor in a week #god i don't wanna talk to these people anymore. Body update: it turns out that after about a year (ish) of trying to eat more healthily and avoiding fast food, my body cannot handle some of the meals I used to enjoy anymore

I had a burger last week at DND and was sick, and I thought it was bc the burger particularly greasy, but then when I ordered from my usual place today (less horrendously greasy but still, you know, a fast food burger) I actually kinda stopped enjoying it three bites in and had to put in some effort to finish it x)

Oh well

#Matt has a life #Shit from home #In other news: couldn't do 2x20mn of walking yesterday cause I had to drive to the post office #and driving a motobike is demanding on the knees #but I did one turn today and everything seems fine #gonna do another set later and see how it goes #and if we can keep that up until next week I'll try and see if we can up it to 1x30mn and 1x20mn #The goal being to be able to walk for at least 40mn at a time before I try going to the gym again #at which point I'll use the running machines to try and walk on a gradually increasing incline #... at this point it might actually be a good idea to see a physio #but I don't like the one I visited before -_-#Edit: other posotive effect of better food and regular exercise: I lost about 4kg since dec. 2022 and am now back around 95 #which is much more comfortable for me than where I was before #would I complain about going down to 90kg? no #but I'm 34 and planning on having a baby soon so that doesn't sound likely #especially bc like #diets are a myth #and if my body's ideal weight were 100kg that's where I'd be regardless of diet #so we'll see how that goes #I'm fine with where I'm at rn

#gonna ramble about irl here so people don't have to read it unless they want to #so because I got covid and couldn’t leave my bed I've essentially lost my job #I've told my manager I'm okay to go back to work #even if my body is still sore #but she's only given me a 3 hour shift a week #and you guessed it!#it's the late shift #the one where it takes me almost 2 hours to get home from #she's being so petty with me #and I am so behind in rent #I've applied for government assistance and I have a meeting with them tomorrow #I really hope they can help because I feel awful #I'm also annoyed at myself because I can't find my knee brace ANYWHERE #I thought I could find one for around $10 but nope!#the closest stores selling them are like $25+ so that's fun #I don't know when I'll be able to draw again #I'm so stressed again about money and secueing work #hopefully once I can get govt assistance at least I can enjoy life again #also I tried to ask the zine that still owes me money if they could finally send payment but they still keep delaying it with excuses #I'm so desperate it's shameful

I swear that pack had something against my toriel sim for the longest time #bc the pack introduced a bunch of new pie recipes and a pie competition every few weeks. so Obviously toriel needed to win that #except the game absolutely refused to let her win for real life months on end #I have a screenshot where all 3 pies entered one time were the same type. toriel's was excellent quality vs 2 townies' normal quality pies #she still lost to them. and then when she finally Did win first place several tries later it happened in the dumbest way possible #she entered a pie. waited for hours until the competition ended. no result appeared so I gave up and sent her home #two in-game weeks pass. frisk is hanging out at their high school's football event. a notification pops up as the event ends #the result from the pie competition finally appears. during the wrong event and two entire weeks late. and then my game crashed #luckily everything turned out the same way and she still got the first place result but god. it was So Much #anyway this kind of nonsense is why I love the sims gjhdsfjgh

The dog I fell in love with on Monday got adopted today literally mere hours before I went back. This is on top of finding out that management at work is finally getting off their asses and making a decision to shut down the second journal I've been working on (good news, this has been basically my second job since June in every way except for me getting paid for it), but in a way that is going to make the rest of this year a fucking nightmare for me work-wise.

The rest of today is cancelled, it's now just sadsack moping hours.

#i know i should be happy he has a home #but a giant fuck you to whoever adopted him #also lost out on a possible job i applied to that would've been fucking perfect #so my tolerance for additional bad news is at an all-time low #if one fucking thing could go right this week that'd be swell
