Why does Pinterest Switzerland need a separate domain? Like, damn, are they violating that many human privacy rights?

DOMAINS AND SEO STRATEGY
Here's the breakdown on domain gamification and optimization for SEO, along with some safety tips for investing:
Domain Gamification and SEO
Domain gamification involves using creative elements like wordplay, rhymes, or numbers in your domain name to make it catchy and memorable. While it can grab attention, the impact on SEO is mixed:
Pros:
Increased brand recall: A catchy domain can stick in people's minds, making them more likely to remember and return to your site.
Potential ranking boost for exact-match keywords: If your domain name exactly matches a high-volume keyword, it may give you a slight ranking edge for that specific term.
Cons:
Can be difficult to brand: Gamified domains often prioritize memorability over clear branding, making it harder to associate the domain with your business.
Not future-proof: If your business expands beyond the keyword or concept in the domain, it might become limiting.
Can hurt readability: Hyphens, numbers, and unusual spellings can make the domain harder to read and type.
SEO Optimization for Domains
For strong SEO, focus on these aspects:
Keywords: Include relevant keywords in your domain, but prioritize readability and branding.
Brandability: Choose a domain that reflects your brand and is easy to remember and spell.
Length: Keep it short and sweet, ideally under 15 characters.
Top-Level Domain (TLD): Use a common TLD like .com, .org, or your country-specific TLD (e.g., .rs for Serbia).
Where to Invest Safely in Domains
Brandable Domains: Invest in domains that clearly represent your brand and have the potential for long-term growth.
Aged Domains: Consider purchasing aged domains with established backlinks (links from other websites) for a potential SEO boost. However, do your research to ensure the domain history is clean (no spammy content).
Local SEO Domains: If your business is local, consider a domain with your city or region name to improve local search ranking.
Remember: Don't chase trends or blindly follow domain fads. Invest in a domain that serves your brand and SEO goals for the long term.

website update - J-fashion links
Once again encouraging people to add my website starsbegantofall.com to their bookmarks or rss/feed reader. I just posted a master link list of the most useful of my Japanese fashion posts over the past 8 years that had been posted first on blogspot. (By useful, I mean useful for me and my bad memory, but probably not as useful for anyone else unless they want to go down memory lane with me.)
From this point onward, any lengthy post will be posted on the domain I paid good money for, and afterwards cross-posted or linked to social media that I did not pay for but other people still use lol. So for the latest updates on my art or sewing or cosplay or whatever else I can think of, please check my site for at least monthly updates, thanks!

Hi! This is a slightly weird post, but a few months ago, I happened upon the song above while looking through the free music archive, and I wanted to use for a game I’m developing. It was perfectly fine for me to use, but in the time since then, the person who uploaded it - someone under the name MFP - has since deleted all their information and music from everywhere I’ve looked on social media.
As I am hesitant to use music that was taken down so soon after it was uploaded, I wanted to post it now to ask - has anyone heard this piano piece before and know what it is called, or who happened to compose it? I can only assume it was either plagiarized, or the composer no longer wanted their works published...
