Soukoku has ruined it for me...

Any other pairing for Chuuya and Dazai in whatever context you wanna take it - platonic, romantic, found family, soulmates, enemies, frenemies etc etc - one can't be without the other or in the same capacity what they have with each other...

Like, I can never imagine Dazai getting frustrated with anyone and downright saying to their face - 'You're no ray of sunshine either' - other than Chuuya

or Chuuya ever saying - 'I used corruption because i trusted you' to anyone other than Dazai (tbf, he literally can't say even if he wants to, unless it's another nullifier)

or Dazai spending day and night, thinking up ways to annoy anyone but Chuuya

or Chuuya doing a rich girl impression or equivalent just because someone said he will do so

or Dazai talking about how anyone's ability is too overpowered and its final form, sound equal parts smug, fond and worried

or Chuuya looking at any agency fight and thinking, if it was Dazai there won't have been a fight to begin with

or Dazai planting a bomb under any of his friends/colleague's car, fully certain it won't harm them

or Chuuya shooting his subordinates out of their discussed plan, just to shut them up because they were getting cringe

Or you know - the in general - devising a whole plan, heading into enemy's side, getting stabbed with poison and trusting the other will save you, without any sort of communication what so ever.

And the said other person, doing exactly as was expected of them and activating the uncontrollable part of their ability, without any confirmation of the only person known to deactivate is even alive.

One shotting the other in head, the other letting it happen.

One trusting the other with their humanity, and other making sure to keep it intact.

One getting kidnapped and leaving a clue that only the other could connect.

I mean, you could argue one or two of these things can happen with either half of Soukoku and someone else, but all of these?

They may have n number of different kinds of relations with all the other's from bsd verse, but what they have with each other is unique and it's only them who will have that kind of thing...

I'm not saying they are a ideal - friends, enemies, couple.... Partners

What I'm saying is, what ever they are to each other - is the best they will get... it's one of a kind - only piece available in the whole world

this is a crucial time to check up on your trans (and by extension, nb) friends and family. with so much bullshit being spewed our ways, the new shitty harry potter game, and the death of a SIXTEEN year old trans girl, it is hard to find hope. it is so hard for trans teens especially to find hope in this world. we feel as if we are growing up to be trapped in our false skins and it is so mentally demanding to deal with. so please, check up on your trans friends, siblings, cousins. they need you. we need you. everyone in the community is suffering immensely and we need to be there for eachother. because when nobody has us, we have eachother. we weave together and become unbreakable.

#so my mom's wake thing was today and that was a lot. not in an emotional sense but in a im standing here talking for 3hrs #to ppl i dont kno or barely kno. ya kno? but it was good bc so many ppl showed up to talk abt her #so many people. my mom made a huge impact on the school system. so many ppl relied on her. she encouraged at least 2 ppl to get their #master. for one person to specilize in helping the dyslexic after her experience advocating for 3 dyslexic daughters. she wrote and was #awarded a 10000 dollar grant for special needs and intervention curriculum. which will affect so many lives.#everyone loved her. she's gonna get a track meet named after her and a scholarship created in her honor.#she was an amazing person and she affected a lot of lives and im glad she was my mom. and she raised at least one jem in my littlest #sister who is so sweet and is a great teacher. god but there was some weird stuff too. were pretty sure her old boss was in love with her.#and there were some weird comments abt her being a strong woman or this woman doing so much and its like hm y do i detect a note of sexism #y not say she was an amazing person? y the surprise? weird comments about how pretty i looked. which yes i looked great lol. my funeral fit #was cute. we did bright colors bc it was a celebration not a dower event. and im sure it was ment well but it was a lil weird. and then #everyone was telling my grandma what a great job she did raising my mom and like god fuck off she didn't do jack. my mom was great despite #her terrible mother. ugh. but altogether it was good that everyone was able to express their love for her. it was def a day that was for #them mostly. i mean partly for us but mostly for them. none of us even cried. ay but we have 2 more parties in her honor #bc everyone loved her so much we have to do one in her hometown too. plus a personal friends get together. ugh. im so tired #i wish i wasnt the most awkward. eye contact avoidant person in the room but like ya kno. what can ya do?#unrelated

I know we're all scared right now, I myself haven't been able to relax much after the election. Everything feels so hopeless and we're all terrified of what could happen. But I'm writing this to tell you to NOT GIVE UP. Whatever happens, KEEP LIVING. LIVE TO LOVE. LIVE TO SPITE. JUST LIVE AND KEEP FIGHTING!

Things feel especially dark, and it's hard to believe there will ever be a light at the end of the tunnel, but don't let go of your hope. I want you to know that you're not alone in struggling to find positivity during a time like this. I know it's difficult, but keep trying your very best to stay optimistic. We WILL have a better future. But we need to keep fighting to get there. So please, don't ever give up. Keep fighting with everything you have and keep LIVING.

Karma will come to those who deserve it. All of these evil bastards will face their downfall eventually. You merely being alive is enough to have bigots shaking in their boots, and continuing to have bravery and determination despite everything will scare them even more. Keep fighting for your rights because you deserve them. We ALL do. Give everything you've got and don't EVER slow down, no matter how tiring things may be.

Even though it’s very obvious because JJ is like 6 month old minimum, until I saw the ask you go I completely forgot how much time passes after Seattle and before Ellie goes off again and like, we all grieve but why the hell would anyone have an issue with Dina or Maria for leaving Ellie and Tommy when it’s been so long since Joel’s death and they’re still losing sleep over Abby.

Thanks to whoever sent that ask because it just reminded me of how long it was and now I can only think of the shit the two of them went through (especially new mum Dina) trying to help Ellie and Tommy move on before they finally put themselves first

HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those guys are FUCKING INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Third World Cup Final in a row and third WIN in a row, it’s... my mind is... I can’t even describe it!!!!! And Lauge, my man, he had not played most (if not all) of December because of an injury, he wasn’t on the court in the first few games, and the games where he was on the court (before the Final) it wasn’t very long. Then they get to the Final, he is out there for most of the game and cashes in 10 goals!!!!! And let’s not forget Mads Mensah, I mean... only a few minutes out in and when he can see an open spot he just fires it in, absolutely incredible!!!

I’m gonna try to end this rant soon... even though I don’t really want to because I could talk about these guys for DAYS and I still wouldn’t be anywhere close to being finished. Seriously, my love and respect for these Danish handball beasts has gone through the roof and it’s NEVER coming down. Just... just think about it; Denmark had never won a World Cup until 2019 in which the host countries were Germany and (yep, you guessed it) Denmark where they defeated Norway in the Final, two years after that it’s in Egypt where they won against Sweden, and yet again the Gold is Danish after one hell of a match against France.

CONGRATULATIONS to ALL the teams who have participated in this years World Cup and I can’t wait ‘til 2025 where the hosts are Denmark, Norway, and Croatia. And, who knows... maybe Denmark will win it a fourth time...

There would be whispers and rumors about Lancelot's immense strength, durability, and other things that would make them out to be some sort of superhuman(this is the best word I can think of atm)

But part of this was because when they were still under Arthur, they were blessed by Rhongomyniad's power and it had enhanced their abilities to what normally isn't possible for them. When they defected from Arthur, they lost that blessing and enhanced capabilities, but it doesn't mean Lancelot is completely defenseless and weak

So when first fighting and seeing that they aren't just decimating everything, some might assume the rumors were just tales spread to scare enemies and then they might start fighting more brazenly. Unfortunately for that enemy though, Lancelot is still fully capable of fighting to a ridiculously fierce degree and can still channel their strength to a high degree because Rhongomyniad only enhanced their capabilities, not granted them

So give Lancelot any chance to concentrate long enough to get into a battle state, they'll still be able to almost effortlessly slash down quite a few types of enemies and and bash in just about anything(whether it be a head or a wall), unless they go into a defensive state though(which happens quite a bit still because they protected allies along with fighting for so long that it's still an automatic habit for them)

I think I have to really digest it a bit, but generally I really enjoyed ShB!

#spoilers #major spoilers #my opinions abt Eulmore's involvement still mostly stand tho.#I still think Vauthry and co. are the weakest part of the expac and that's before we get into the various Unfortunate Implications #I get the point is to highlight the forces keeping all in Norvrandt from working together for a better future and it works a bit better #in the endgame / but I still think they're *extremely* weak narratively in the early-midgame and there's a lot of...little annoyances #that I can't really ignore. but I've complained abt that enough to my friends already.#I really liked the back half a lot! like I said I liked the overall tone and the gradual development into the Scions being an actual team #that desperately actually care for you as friends rather than 'you're a colleague who gets foisted with all the work' pre-expac feeling #really works and I really enjoyed it. like I said I think I should really mull it around and digest it before I start having strong opinions #maybe get through the post-patches first. I don't know if I'll absolutely sing it's praises like I've seen some posters do but generally #I think it was a pretty strong expac. narratively anyway #sorry it's the writer brain curse I uh. have to sit here and pick it apart piece by piece #one thing in particular I really enjoyed was that no one zone really overstayed its welcome which was an issue in previous ones #(cough cough. ruby sea. cough cough)#saint plays ffxiv
