OK I've sat down to rewatch Quinton's Victorious review, gonna have some ibuprofen bc god dammit got another headache on the horizon, and I'm gonna try and work on my Aldrich webcomic bc I miss it and once I get past a certain point I think I'll have more energy to work on it.

And, as always, I wanna be able to have another project under my belt and maybe even turn the webcomic into a digital/physical book as I slowly but surely crunch through its parts.

Mammon idolizes Lucifer. He idolizes Lucifer so so much. And it's almost bittersweet to watch because the both of them are basically two sides of the same coin.

Lucifer, although he'll never admit out loud, cares an extreme lot for his brothers. He lets them get into trouble because they deserve it, and once the line is crossed, he intervenes and saves them. He punishes them and scolds them, but he earns the praise and respect of his brothers.

Mammon, similar to Lucifer would also rather die than admit about caring for his brothers. But he wears his heart on his sleeves and cannot hide it. But on the contrary, he gets into trouble. Sometimes it's to protect his brothers, other times it's to help them take their minds of something. But usually he ends up in deeper trouble, attracting his brothers' scorn.

Mammon tries to step up, but Lucifer does it better. After all, it's Lucifer we're talking about. Lucifer, Pride, the embodiment of perfection and nothing less.

And Mammon is just Greed. He wants, and he wants, and he resorts to tricks to try and get them. But he wasn't blessed with caution like Levi or a fearful ability to scheme like Satan and Belphegor.

He's careless and troublesome, but he has a good heart. The most caring heart amongst the 7 of them.

I was going somewhere with this but midway I got really sad for Mammon and trailed off...

This comic was inspired by the excellent idea of using The Last Unicorn dialogue for Astarion’s story from @fangsandfeels and the lovely comic made by @solmesia depicting it. You can see the original post here and the comic here.

When I read the original idea I thought that this also potentially works in reverse for a redemption Dark Urge who is horrified by their monstrousness. I did edit and add to the original dialogue for my own purposes.

(Also I really think it would have been cool if slayer form worked more like an uncontrollable werewolf-like curse rather than a gift you have to seek out.)
